When the world is dyed red on the day of Third Impact it becomes clear that God has abandoned mankind. Though the sins of hubris and arrogance is a steep one for man God made a fatal mistake. Thus, if God refuses to bring mankind salvation, then it falls upon the Devil to become that salvation for mankind. The Cruel Angel meets the savage Skull Devil a powerful devil named Kaiser!

5. Chapter 5 Devil, Angel, & the Wing Cross

Rebuild SKL is Kaiser

ESKK: A brand new chapter now let's get this story started.

(Start Gendo NERV Location unknown)

Gendo stood in another room glaring up through his visor at a new screen that replayed the attack on Kiba. Particularly the part where Unit-01 had appeared via an open rift. Comparing it to the incident in space Gendo had easily noted a pattern between the two incidents that occurred.

"Did you learn anything new?" Kozou asked as he entered the room and stood with Gendo observing the two scenes.

"Perhaps." Gendo said as he glared at the screen as Gendo saw it as well.

"It seems in both incidents Unit-01 returned when the Second Children was in enough danger to cry out." Fuyutsuki said seeing what had happened in both scenes.

"Yes." Gendo confirmed as he began rewinding the scenes again and played them phase by phase. "If the theory holds true the Shikinami type and the Third Children's compassion for her will be our method to draw him back into this reality." Gendo said as he looked to the screen with a glare.

"IT feels like only yesterday when you and Yui had first met." Fuyutsuki said as he looked to the image of the events. "You tended to beat up anyone who spoke ill of her." He added but Gendo kept silent in response to this musing. "I suppose the apple did not fall far from the tree in that particular regard." Fuyutsuki said but then Gendo changed the subject.

"Our supplies should last but they will be rationed until we can find an alternative source." Gendo said knowing with the loss of Kiba NERV no longer has a means to gain food, water, and medicine.

"Make use of what we have on hand." Fuyutsuki said summarizing what Gendo was saying. "But as for your theory if putting the Shikinami Type in danger will bring the Third Children from hiding we will need a method to keep him here long enough for the portal to close." Fuyutsuki said noting that Gendo was no doubt already planning something.

"Worry not plans are already in development we need only to keep the Third Children from re-entering the portal, capturing him will come later." Gendo said planning everything with a fine comb.

"And what of Kaiser?" Kozou suddenly asked knowing the threat that Kaider posed that Gendo refused to acknowledge.

"Kaiser has proven to be more than a minor nuisance, but it is only as powerful as its pilots." Gendo said making his position on this subject clear for Fuyutsuki. "Iron Kaiser will suffice in neutralizing Kaiser until then our main focus is the return of Unit-01 and the Third Children." Gendo said making it clear on what was happening.

"Very well then." Fuyutsuki said and thus he began to depart. But then he stopped for a moment to look at Gendo for with one more bit of news. "By the way, the new Rei Clone has emerged… but something is wrong." Fuyutsuki said which got Gendo to stiff up. "She claims that she feels like she is in two places at once and the other place she is at… its like she is looking through the lens of madness, her words not mine." Fuyutsuki said as he then got down to it. "Is there a chance that the Ayanami Type killed by Kaiser may still be alive?" Fuyutsuki asked with concern for what may result from this new information.

"If she is or not is irrelevant, she would no doubt expire soon." Gendo said as Fuyutsuki heard Gendo's words and sighed to the man's unfeeling nature.

"I'm hoping your right." He said before walking off. The reason he said this was because deep down he felt that Iron Kaiser was some sort of omen and if what Rei said is true then the other… was not well.

(Scene Break WILLE Outpost)

Near the battle ground between Kaiser and the NERV EVA units a small depot had been set up. It was about a few days walk from the sight as WILLE had been gathering every EVA and machine part they can get from NERV. But the depot on the other hand was in serious hell for the entire WILLE Supply Depot had been slaughter saved for one survivor the commanding officer.

He was held against the wall, but a lithe form covered in shadows. She held a knife to his neck as she glared at the terrified officer. "Give me the keys." She snarled and soon enough the lights returned revealing who the assailant was.

This assailant's entire body was burned badly with her skin darkened showing it to be recent. The left side of her face had shown a severe lose of azure hair with the eye carrying a blackened sclera around the crimson iris and a scar on the same eye lid. From her eyes and hair alone, it was clearly the Rei clone that Akira and Kuzo had bested with Kaiser.

"I… I can't let you." The soldier gasped only to be stabbed in the stomach spilling his blood.

"GIVE IT!" She yelled showing that her insanity had reached its apex. She kept stabbing him not at all giving him the chance to give her what she wanted. He cried out before being dropped and sliced up by this clearly insane Rei Clone. Soon enough her victim laid dead as she took the keys needed to command an air vehicle.

(Later)

Boarding a VTOL, the Rei clone licked her lips in anticipation of what was to come. "Get ready skully." Rei said with an insane smile straight out of a nightmare while she started the vehicle up. "I'm coming and with a Kaiser of my own." She laughed during lift off as she began to make her way back to NERV to take Iron Kaiser from Gendo by force if she needed to all so she can finally kill the Skull Robot.

(Scene Break the Wundur Misato)

Misato was in her quarters as she was tossing and turning in her sleep. Her dreams her nightmares haunted her Eve's revelations of what she knew had struck deep. The UN had arrived to clean up Kiba's fortress as well as get the civilians there to safety and if needed get them mental help. Unfortunately, none of them wanted to join WILLE especially after what Kiba did to them.

As Misato slept her dreams haunted her with images. Second Impact going off and Misato drifted away from it in a pod her father used to save her life. 14 years later she watched Third Impact happen but this time she saw something truly horrifying Unit-01 was being torn apart and the only thing left was the plug which burned in the blast. Misato cried out in horror as she saw Shinji crying out as he was vaporized in the blast.

Then Misato saw flashes of a different scene the day Shinji arrived in Tokyo-3, but this time Misato stood in Gendo's position. She looked down and was wide eyed when she saw her son, Kaji Jr.

"Mother why did you call me here!" He cried out as Misato found herself watching this as a prisoner of her own body.

"Because I have a use for you." Misato spoke and in turn her eyes looked to the side and to her shock she saw Gendo standing there in her own reflection.

"Well done Katsuragi WILLE will no doubt achieve victory and all it cost you was everything and everyone you loved." Gendo said and thus Misato was wide eyed to this.

Misato woke up and shot up with a cry of shock. She was sweating as she grabbed her face in shock. She saw her visor on the side table as she tried to control her breathing. "I'm not him. I'm not him. I'm nothing like him." Misato repeated as she tried to get a hold of herself. But Eve's words were spot on they hit her at every place it would hurt and now she was second guessing herself. Reaching to her phone Misato held it as she got ready to try something. But then she put it down before grabbing her face.

"Damn him." Misato cursed as she began to break down. "Damn him for doing this to me." Misato cried as it was hard to tell who she meant even to herself. Kaji for giving her the greatest gift she could ask for or Gendo for making her walk down this path. As Misato cried, she failed to notice the trigger for the DSS Chokers was flashing strangely.

(Meanwhile with Eve)

Eve was in the main server room of the Wundur with two guards currently knocked out nearby. If anyone asked, they were sleeping on the job as Eve had switched up the security feeds while she hacked into WILLE. More so they won't even remember her being here just a headache no one wants to even imagine. She was looking for two sets of data… three if she got lucky. The first was the command signal for the DSS Chokers while she did understand the UN desire for it Shinji and her mother asked her to try and get it undone. Finding the command code was not to difficult and with it she found the shut down code for it as well. With a few modifications she can easily send out a signal causing the chokers to simply fall off.

When she got the data for it, she installed a tapeworm program that would delete the DSS Choker and its functions from the WILLE mainframe. With that done she began to download onto her personal PDA the information pertaining to Third Impact and the crimes levied against Shinji for it. While she did intend to honor her orders from her mother, Eve had no intentions of letting the command staff of WILLE walk around free after pinning their crimes on Shinji.

More so if she presents this to the UN in a method that would be noticed and not be ignored WILLE's entire command staff would be arrested and tried for crimes against humanity. Eve was only taking this and adding it to what she already had as insurance to use against WILLE in case they try something. This one was just as easy to acquire and with it she began to search the mainframe for information on one particular pilot.

When Eve had been deep undercover, she had found some interesting information in Germany via the NERV facility there. Needless to say, Eve had saw that not all was as it seemed in WILLE, and she intended to get to the bottom of it. Searching through the data Eve downloaded and read what she found noting that a lot on Asuka seemed to be classified or heavily encrypted. It was a simple matter for Eve as well as avoiding the firewalls to prevent any from discovering this classified information.

Going through the data Eve growled when she found what she was looking for. "Those lying bastards." Eve said as on her data pad was the name Kyoko Zepplin Shikinami. Eve would approach Misato and Ritsuko about this information after she presented it to Asuka after the next mission to attack Death Star's base. What Eve had found was something that needed to be shared with Asuka.

Eve looked at her timer and saw she still had a small bit of time left. So, with expert ease and a means to focus on anything but her frustration she got to work. Eve knew that she needed an auxiliary pilot for Wingle. Kaiser and Wingle were similar in that regard that they needed a unique pilots in order to operate it. But unlike Kaiser whose controls put a severe strain on the pilots mind Wingle's issue is that the pilot needs to be physically able to handle the stress. Only woman were able to handle this stress from the notes Eve had acquired on Wingle, so she began looking through WILLE's female personnel.

Eve knew this ran the risk of making Kaiser more reliant of WILLE but without Wingle Kaiser's true strength would remain locked away. So, with this in mind she needed to find a backup pilot in the event Eve is unable to play her part. She soon narrowed down her search and found at least three members of WILLE who could handle Wingle's operating system.

"Perfect." Eve said as she would need to test each of them discretely. But if all plays out, she will not have to worry about expiring and leaving Wingle without a pilot and Kaiser handicapped.

(Scene Break the next day)

The crew of the Wundur was once more carrying out their daily routine. With the victory over Kiba they had dealt a major blow to one of NERV's major suppliers. Midori meanwhile had been released from the brig but had to wear gauss over her stab wound from when she attempted to gun down Akira. She was of course cleared to return to her regular work but was now on probation due to this. While Akira got a slap on the wrist, she was the one being looked at like a deranged criminal by WILLE.

"You really got off lucky, Midori all things considered." Hideki said as he and Midori were watching the hanger once more after taking out Kiba.

"And that psycho is allowed to walk freely." Midori said with a glare to where Skull Pilder was currently docked.

"If you ask me this is on you for provoking him." Hideki said knowing that Midori brought it on herself. Midori glared at Hideki for taking Akira's side on this. "Hey, don't give me that glare it's not like I'm wrong." Hideki said and thus Midori snarled and turned away from Hideki. "Just be glad their on our side for now." Hideki said as he knew it was all they can hope for from Kaiser.

But then the sound of cheers were heard as the duo saw nearby a crowd of soldiers cheering on something going on. "What's going on over there?" Midori asked as she was a bit curious to see what was happening.

The pair walked over to the crowd and as they did, they started to squeeze their way to the front of it. What they found surprised the pair of them to no end upon arrival. In the center of the group was none other then Akira and Kuzo fighting each other as with their bare fists. Clearly the two were at it for a bit judging from the bruises and the blood it had been going for a bit.

Just then the two charged at each other and delivered a straightforward punch to each other's faces causing both to stumble back. "Is that all you got Kuzo?" Akira taunted as he grinned sadistically at his fellow Kaiser Pilot. "It was so weak I didn't even need to dodge it." Akira went on but Kuzo simply smirked at his fellow pilot.

"I agree you've gotten slopy." Kuzo said not at all bothered by the sudden attack. The two then continued their fight as Midori and Hideki stood there in shock over what they were seeing here.

"What are those psycho's doing?!" Midori asked shocked over what she was seeing.

"By the looks of it a classic case of fight club." Hideki said while he watched the scene play out before him.

"W-what's happening?" The voice of Sakura Suzuhara asked and thus she had eased her way through the crowd.

"Not sure Hideki thinks its fight club." Midori said as she watched it hoping to see Akira fall in this fight. By the looks of it Midori was getting into the scene if only to see Akira get his psychotic ass kicked.

"This is terrible." Sakura said ready to call for security to break the fight up.

"No, it's just how they relax." Eve was suddenly heard as the trio looked and saw Eve approaching.

Just then she drew her whip and with a crack Akira and Kuzo were both forced to avoid the whip strike. Everyone was amazed with how quickly the two shifted gears to avoid Eve's apparent surprise attack. But Eve was not trying to strike the duo but to take something from them. When Eve finished, she got what she was aiming for and had managed to grab it from the Kaiser Pilots.

"Don't just butt in Eve." Akira said as he glared at Eve for her part.

"We don't need you refereeing for us." Kuzo said as he stood with his hands in his pockets.

"Don't misunderstand." Eve said while glaring at the pair of Kaiser Pilots. "I know I can't stop you two from doing this… so I decided to take the dangerous implements." Eve said and thus showed that she had Akira's sheathed combat dagger and Kuzo's guns in their holsters. The pair checked their persons and saw their weapons were in fact missing.

Sakura was about to let out a sigh of relief when all of a sudden Akira grinned to this. "I don't need no weapon to kick his ass!" Akira yelled as he and Kuzo once more went at it while the WILLE soldiers were cheering again.

"Wait Eve maybe you should." Sakura said as she saw Eve passing her by.

"No need, they won't kill each other but they may go overboard hence why I took these." Eve said knowing the boys would eventually come back for their missing weapons. "Trust me this is tame in comparison of the other things they do. Its just their way of showing their trust in each other." Eve said assuring Sakura that Akira and Kuzo were ok for now. "Now if you don't mind, I need some help with Wingle's Pilder." Eve said making her request of Sakura known.

"Oh… um sure." Sakura said but she recalled what happened to the soldiers who tested out Kaiser's Skull Pilder before. "Are you sure its safe?" She asked with a hint of fear in her voice.

"Don't worry nothing will happen to you." Eve said assuring Sakura that she will be safe to help her perform maintenance on the Skull Pilder. "Now if you want to help then come along if not, I'm sure you have other tasks that can be done." Eve said and in turn Sakura sighed a bit.

"Alright." Sakura said and in turn she followed after Eve to work on Wingle's Pilder. Though what Sakura failed to realize was Eve was going to be testing Sakura's compatibility with Winge with a subtle approach. Her approach would have Sakura in direct contact with Wingle and if she can handle it good if not then Sakura will simply feel extreme exhaustion from the test.

(Scene Break Death Star's Prison)

The warlord Death Star was walking down the hall as she soaked in the aura of suffering and despair around her. She had been in charge of this place for some time now and had enjoyed every moment of it, especially her small pleasures. A few of the cells she had passed by had screams from within either for torture or defilement she didn't care at the moment. Perhaps later she will take pleasure in watching but right now she had a target in mind.

The woman was like her fellow Warlords she had forgone her modern thinking in favor of her more primal instincts for violence. NERV kept her facility running with their tools and all she had to do was, have her prisoners mining for minerals underground. There had been a few cave ins, but Death Star had punished those responsible for these annoying setbacks every time regardless of if they were intentional or not.

She had of course gotten word of Kiba's demise and needless to say there was no love loss from Death Star. She and the other two never got along with each other and kept to their own devices. So, when Kiba's demise reached her ears Death Star was more then ready to deploy her forces and take Kiba's fortress for herself preferably before Slum King got it. But that would not be happening simply because the UN and WILLE got to it first and had secured it. Death Star craved violence but luckily, she was not stupid.

She eventually arrived at the door she was aiming for and saw two guards on either side of it. "Open it." Death Star said and thus the guard to the right nodded and proceeded to open the door. After the locks were undone the door swung open and from there Death Star began to enter the chamber within.

She soon found herself walking down a bridge to a lone cell surrounded by explosives and other countermeasures to handle its sole occupant. Entering the cell, she was met with the sight of a woman sitting in the shadows of the cell causing Death Stare to glare at her. This woman this lone woman had yet to break after years of her tenure here. She was a hard shell to crack as the woman had endured it all. Death Star tried to pass her around to some of the men in her prison and instead of cries of agony she just laughed at them.

This woman had valuable information and Ikari wanted that information extracted at all costs. But she needed to be alive for it and by the looks of it she didn't fear death and in fact had embraced the concept. "Oh?" The woman began with a grin from the shadows as her ebony locks could be seen with one her eyes seemingly glowing in the dark. "Is it time for another round of torture warden?" She asked trying to edge on Death Star to try.

"You and I both know that torture won't break you." Death Star said as she had to wonder what this information was that Death Star had to keep this woman alive and well instead of just plain out killing her. "And I suspect if I isolate you, you'll do something hasty." Death Star said as the woman then grinned to what Death Star was saying.

"Oh, so this is a wellness check." The woman said taunting Death Star. "I do appreciate it, seeing as I'm not as young as I used to be." She added to her taunt causing Death Star to grit her teeth.

"You can get out of here." Death Star began as she tried her best to reign in her temper. "All you have to do is tell me what you know Dr. Uzuki." Death Star said as then the woman naked Uzuki began to stand up.

"Oh, you mean what I know about the missing page of the Dead Sea Scrolls?" Uzuki began as her tone showed she was taunting Death Star with the fact she was untouchable. "Or perhaps what I know about the construction of MY Kaiser?" She continued while stepping out of the shadows. "I'll take those secrets with me to my grave my work already done." She said and thus reveled her face to be a woman whose left eye was burned and scarred due to her role in creating her robot. "So go ahead do it I dare you!" She taunted showing that she was not afraid of death. "I will give me time to set your places up in Hell." She added while licking her lips in a sadistic manner.

Death Star Snarled before leaving and slamming the cell door close before heading off. Uzuki laughed as she once more had gotten under Death Star's skin, and she enjoyed every minute of it. Uzuki had heard whispers that Kiba had been killed and the UN with WILLE had taken his territory. Uzuki knew that her own escape was upon them. So, with this in mind she got ready for that anticipated escape because she knew her robots were causing this. It would seem that WILLE had finally decided to use her greatest creations to fight against NERV and Gendo Ikari. Uzuki laughed as she was enjoying this for all that could be had for Kaiser her devil shall stand victorious.

(Scene Break Wundur Meeting Room)

Misato stood in front of her crew in the meeting room for the upcoming battle against Death Star. After they had restocked on their resources, they had gone on the uptake to hit Death Star's base. At the moment the group comprised of Misato, Ritsuko, Hideki, Sakura, and Maya from WILLE. From the pilots sitting around the table, they had Asuka and Mari for the EVA Units, Akira and Kuzo for Kaiser, Eve for Wingle, and finally Hurricane, Misty, and Flash for the Psycho Gears. They all sat in attention as they were ready to begin the briefing.

"Ok since we're all here lets get down to business." Misato said as she displayed images of Death Star, her base, and the location of this base. "This entire complex thanks to the data Eve had provided is a prison complex that doubles as a labor camp." Misato said giving details of their objective against this location.

"Yes." Eve cut in as she had more to add. "WILLE, under recommendation, had sent out a few scouting drones after our assault on Kiba's fortress." Eve said and thus displayed images of what the drones had found for them. "From surveillance it seems that Death Star had decided to increase her defenses." Eve said as she looked to the group.

"So, we can't sneak in like last time, great." Maya growled a bit when she put the pieces together.

"Unfortunately, so our only option will be to go full frontal." Misato said much to everyone shock at those words.

"Commander are you certain we have the resources to do that?" Ritsuko said but Misato then let out a sigh.

"No… but we do have one… as much as it galls me to admit it." Misato said and in turn all eyes were on Akira and Kuzo sitting with them.

"Well looks like the shoe is on the other foot now." Akira said with a grin showing that the brutal approach was being called upon.

"It's not just that, Akira." Eve said as she looked over to Akira making sure he was aware of what she was talking about. "You grew up there and have a good understanding of the layout." Eve said shocking the entire room with those words.

"Wait the Skull Psycho was raised there?!" Asuka asked when she heard this. "This oddly explains so much about you." Asuka said but at the same time she was wondering who would put a child in that sort of situation.

"Moving on." Eve said getting the meeting back on track. "With this level of obstacles, it was decided in our best interest to go full force against the enemy forces." Eve said before moving to the next part of the briefing. "The weapons were no doubt designed with EVA units unit in mind so Kaiser, Wingle, and the Psycho Gears will lead the attack and make a wall for Asuka and Mari to breach through." Eve explained showing a holographic image of the plan here.

"Question, what about the civilians inside?" Hurricane asked with concern for those people struggling within.

"That is why we need to go the frontal assault and draw Death Star out for a fight." Eve explained before displaying images of the battle mechs Death Star and her forces would likely utilize.

"Wait that one looks just like Wingle." Flash said noting the robot on the screen.

"Of course, its Death Stars personal robot and… the Wingles Prototype." Eve said and thus everyone was shocked about this.

"How long have you known about this?" Ritsuko asked glaring at Eve.

"It was on a need-to-know basis, but rest assured the similarities end with the fact hers was a prototype." Eve said explaining the situation to Ritsuko. "It's been heavily modified since Death Star had acquired it as you can see." Eve said gesturing to the screen showing the robots and from there they saw that unlike Wingle this robot had bird like talons for its arms and legs as opposed to Wingle's own arm blades and high heels.

"So little miss Dominatrix took a prototype and made it into this." Asuka said glaring at the screen.

"I'm almost impressed." Mari added as she saw the robot that was clearly the command unit for Death Star's forces.

"More then that there is… two more bits of information that needs to be shared." Eve said as she then went down to it. "There is one particular prisoner at the complex that we will need to liberate above all others." Eve said getting down to it.

"Ok this is new." Akira said showing he was at a loss for things here. Kuzo meanwhile just glared knowing what was next to happen.

"I had to keep this information hidden for various reasons chief amongst them is Dr. Akagi's attempts to decipher Kaiser and/or dismantle it." Eve said glaring at Ritsuko who was shocked over the fact that Eve knew this information.

"Wait you knew?!" Ritsuko asked but Eve ignored this.

"Yes, I knew but I accurately assumed Kaiser's own defensives mechanism would prevent that and I was right." Eve said sounding almost smug when she said it. "This prisoner a woman Dr. Jun Uzuki the creator of Kaiser and Wingle." Eve said and thus Akira stood up.

"Wait hold up Kaiser's mama was in that prison this whole time and you never brought it up!?" Akira asked showing that he was also out of the loop on this.

"Wow even the Blade Wolf is out of the loop." Mari said surprised that Eve withheld this information from Akira as well as WILLE.

"It had to be done, Akira." Eve said as Kuzo growled to this new information. He already knew about it and had made his own displeasure with Jun Uzuki known. "Now that we're making larger strikes against NERV we need her on board with WILLE." Eve said making it clear that WILLE needed Dr. Uzuki.

"So, we need to make a rescue team to break her out?" Misato said more then asked but Eve turned her head.

"No all you need to do is be ready to pick her up. I suspect she's had her breakout plan ready for a while now." Eve said as she had a few reasons why this was the case. "I suspect that she is simply waiting for Kaiser to appear before she enacts any sort of escape from her prison." Eve said and thus it was clear this woman sounded dangerous which oddly made sense here.

"Great another sociopath on board." Midori said rolling her eyes making her own displeasure known. This got a glare from Misato before she looked to Eve.

"Eve please continue." Misato said with the offhanded thought that she needed to speak with Eve about withholding important information like she does.

"Of course." Eve said before moving on to Jun Uzuki. "Dr. Uzuki was once a part of GEHIRN before it was reformatted into NERV." Eve said explaining what she could about her. "One day she left the research apparently clash in interests between herself and her fellow researchers made her a wild card." Eve said before going on. "She felt a machine was better suited to fight the Angels her fellow researchers disagreed so she left and would later go on to construct Kaiser and Wingle before she was inevitably captured and imprisoned by NERV." Eve said before getting to the major part. "She has been imprisoned ever since." Eve said as Mari seemed to be unnerved by Jun Uzuki making Eve take a mental note of this behavior from Mari.

"If she's been imprisoned for so long, how you even know if she's still alive in that prison?" Hideki asked as he was curious to this new information.

"Because Dr. Uzuki has something that Gendo wants, and she has yet to share this information due to constantly resisting all manners of torture forced upon her." Eve explained which meant that Jun Uzuki was very much important to Gendo. "If we can get this information before Gendo, does we will then gain a tactical advantage over Gendo and NERV." Eva said and thus this made Jun Uzuki a priority target for them to acquire.

"The fact Gendo want's something from her and is willing to keep her alive for it is telling enough." Maya said seeing why rescuing this woman was a priority here.

"Exactly." Eve said confirming why this was important for WILLE in the end.

"So seems simple we go in, tear shit up, draw out the boss, and then let the extraction team rescue the jailbird." Mari said seeing where this was going now.

"Precisely but again the Commander has final say." Eve said gesturing to Misato who nodded seeing Eve was keeping to the chain of command, unlike the two Skull Mech Pilots.

"You have my ok, now we need to prepare for battle." Misato said and thus everyone nodded and began to depart. As Eve left first, she looked to Asuka knew they had to have this talk as soon as possible.

(Outside the room)

Eve was leaning against the wall as she saw the command staff and pilots leaving the room. She waited for a bit and soon saw Asuka leaving and stopped her. "Major Shikinami a moment please." Eve said as she got Asuka's attention.

"What do you want?" Asuka asked glaring at Eve.

"Nothing at the moment I simply need to speak with you after the battle." Eve said making her intentions clear on this. "I came upon some information that I feel is best you should hear." Eve said but Asuka glared at her.

"Why not tell me now?" Asuka asked and thus Eve sighed a bit.

"If I told you now the information will distract you during the mission causing a fatal mistake." Eve began as she explained why this needed to wait until after the mission. "If that were to happen it may result in Shinji and Unit-01 leaving the Gate of Guff." Eve said and thus Asuka growled to this.

"Fine I'll look for you or you find me." Asuka said wanting to get this over with.

"Thank you… the information may be troubling." Eve said as this got Asuka worried for but a moment. Then with a scoff she stormed off to prepare for the mission against Death Star.

Once Eve was alone, she heard movement and saw Kuzo had arrived on the scene. "Kuzo are you ok?" Eve asked with something of concern for the gunner of SKL.

"Yeah, I'll be fine." Kuzo said as Eve then stopped him from leaving the area.

"I know rescuing her is troubling, but we need her." Eve said as she knew Kuzo and Jun both shared something of a history together.

"Yeah, sure I promise not to shoot her smash her with Kaiser or sick Akira on her." Kuzo said and in turn he freed his hand from Eve's grip and walked off from the scene. As Kuzo left Eve could not help but recall the day, she and Kuzo had originally crossed paths. It was about 5 years ago if she was remembering things correctly. About a year after Eve had begun her mission to defeat NERV and clear Shinji's name of the crime of instigating the Third Impact that WILLE had accused him of.

(Flashback 5 Years ago Eve)

Eve was entering another area after discovering the Kaiser and Wingle Storage facility. Or at least one of them according to the data. With a light guiding the way she entered deep into the facility with one target in mind. Restoring power had been a bother but she managed to get enough to take her to where she needed to go and hopefully get the doors opened to the outside.

Her boots made footsteps that clacked on the steel floor and echoed across the hollowed halls of this abandoned facility. Soon she found what she was looking for a large set of doors labeled, Kuzo. Entering the command codes Eve managed to get the doors to open and inside was a large room once more seeing the light of day.

Eve then entered the room and made her way through the room with lights creating a low glow. The room was filled with capsules all of them shattered as it was not hard to tell what they were. These were cloning capsules meant to store extra clones for the project that was once operating here. Eve was no fool, but she also knew she needed someone exceptionally dangerous for the task she was to carry out. So, she soon approached the only capsule that was still active and had a male clone sleeping inside it.

"Found you." Eve said and soon began to enter the needed commands to awaken him. Inside the pod Kuzo's face began to stir and from it his cold sharp eyes opened and from there, a partnership was born that would see rise to the Skull Mech called Kaiser.

(End flashback)

Eve sighed as she then began to take her leave knowing she still had a mission to prepare for here. Walking away from the scene Eve made sure to keep close eyes on the security camera's watching her every move. Eve had spent time improving her skills in infiltration and espionage since her arrival on the Red Earth 6 years ago. While Eve will be the first to admit she was no seasoned veteran in the art, she was not prideful or arrogant to claim such in any form here. But the skills she had developed served her well in the field against NERV and against its leader Gendo Ikari.

She left the area to prepare her Wingle but most of all she was constantly vigilante. Eve needed to be ready in the event WILLE decided that she knew too much about their dirty secrets. Eve despised WILLE for betraying Shinji 14 years ago after Third Impact making him a scapegoat. But Shinji had asked her Eve did not condemn them like she felt they deserved it was only because of Shinji that WILLE was still operating as an organization. Thus, Eve will abide by Shinji's request she owed it to both him and to her mother Rei as well.

(Later over in Misato's Office)

Misato sat alone in her office as she seemed to gave speakers on as well as a video playing from her personal terminal. In it was the scenes of Third Impact and her role in it the one Eve had accused her off before the assault on Kiba's fortress.

"You can do it Shinji! Do it because this is what you want!" The recording and video played before Misato rewound it to the battle against Zuriel leading up to it. As Misato watched it again her eyes showed just how wary and tired, she was as nearby sat her phone ready to call the person she should be calling. Misato once more reached for the phone and got ready to dial… but then stopped and put the phone down again. Misato rubbed her eyes no doubt the stress was getting to her making her tired.

Just then a knock came from her door which drew Misato's attention to it. Taking a moment Misato turned off the recording before redirecting her attention back to the door. "Enter." Misato said and thus the door opened revealing Ritsuko on the other side before she entered the captains quarters. "Ritsuko what can I do for you?" Misato asked as Ritsuko then put down a data pad for Misato's viewing.

"I dug up some information you might want to take a look at." Ritsuko said as Misato picked up the data pad and began reading. "Kaiser seems to possess some sort of black box inside him from the scans that managed to break through." Ritsuko said as Misato found this odd.

"Any idea what's inside it?" Misato asked wondering why Kaiser had this Black Box.

"No clue, but if Eve's intel is accurate, we might be able to find out through Dr. Uzuki." Ritsuko said knowing that if they managed to secure Dr. Uzuki they can finally learn Kaiser's secrets.

"Good the more we know the more we can be ready to bring Kaiser down if the need should arrive." Misato said knowing how Kaiser's pilots could very well turn on them if the fight is worth it to them.

"I highly doubt Dr. Uzuki will just part with any information to neutralize Kaiser of her own volition." Ritsuko said noting that it was a long shot for that one.

"Perhaps but she will do so." Misato said but then she paused at how cold her tone sounded just then. Misato then let out a tired sigh and sat back on her chair once more.

Ritsuko noticed this and knew something was bothering Misato here. "Misato are you ok?" Ritsuko asked before Misato sat forward a bit to speak up.

"Depends on your definition of being ok." Misato said showing that something was troubling her.

"Need to talk about it?" Ritsuko offered and in turn Misato gave her friend a look.

"Are we really in the right?" Misato suddenly asked causing Ritsuko to look at Misato in shock that she would ask such a thing.

"I don't follow." Ritsuko said as she needed more information.

"14 years ago, when we fought for NERV against the Angels we thought we were on the right side but then Third Impact happened." Misato began as she began to explain her struggles right now.

"Yes, caused by Shinji and Evangelion Unit-01." Ritsuko said but then Misato slammed her hand on the table causing it to shake and startling Ritsuko.

"And that's the issue Ritsuko." Misato said getting her old friends attention here. "Third Impact happened, and we put all the blame on one kid." Misato said but then Ritsuko had a counter.

"Innocent? Hardly." Ritsuko said as she kept a cold tone in her voice from this. "He operated the EVA, he awoken it the blame falls on him." Ritsuko said but Misato countered with her own logic.

"I was at ground zero during Second Impact I recognized what was going on at the time." Misato said as Ritsuko saw what was really going on. "I basically ordered Shinji to carry it out that day." Misato said as Ritsuko had to stop this mindset from settling inside Misato's head.

"Misato that girl is trying to get into your head and." Ritsuko began but was cut off by Misato.

"Ritsuko if Shinji is guilty of initiating it then you should be considered guilty as well for building the weapon." Misato said causing Ritsuko to go wide eyed at this. "Your right she got into my head, but she was speaking the truth and sometimes the truth hurts." Misato said as she got down to her own argument. "See after we spoke with her the dreams began and from it, I kept replaying those days at NERV inside my head and in all of them you were the main person working on the EVA Units, Head of Project E." Misato said as Ritsuko saw where this was going and carefully reached for her firearm.

"Misato… are you accusing me of something?" Ritsuko asked as Misato then sighed and let her breath go.

"Honestly… yes." Misato admitted causing Ritsuko to go wide eyed to Misato's response. "You built the EVA Ritsuko, and you were a part of Gendo's inner circle so how did you escape punishment like I did?" Misato asked as she looked to the woman. "I gave Shinji the go ahead to initiate Third Impact, but you built him the weapon to do it." Misato said as Ritsuko was about ready to open fire if Misato tries something against her.

"Misato your just tired maybe you should lay down and rest for a bit." Ritsuko said trying to stop this nonsense before it could get out of hand. "Your not thinking clearly right now." Ritsuko said trying to avoid Misato turning them all in.

"No… I'm actually thinking clearer then I have in a long time." Misato said as she stood there before turning the video back on showing Ritsuko what she was seeing. Misato then replayed the part when Ritsuko explained what Unit-01 had become as it absorbed Zuriel and initiated Third Impact over 14 years ago at NERV. Ritsuko saw this and was ready to open fire as fast as possible but then Misato spoke again.

"That will be all, go and continue your duties." Misato said and thus Ritsuko moved her hand away from her sidearm.

"Of course." Ritsuko said and thus she took her leave.

When Ritsuko was gone Misato sighed and looked over to the nearby mirror. Misato was not blind she knew Ritsuko was about to pull a gun on her risking a mutiny to keep Misato from listening to her conscience. Misato knew that now was not the time to reveal the truth not with NERV still a threat to the human race. So, with a tired look in her eyes Misato glanced over to her phone again.

Looking at the phone she picked it up and had the keypad opened on it. Glaring at it for a moment Misato's grip tightened on it as she gained her resolve. "I'm not him." Misato said and in turn began to dial the number she should have done ages ago. The phone began to ring as Misato waited for the one, she was calling to answer.

Eventually after a few rings the ringing stopped, and the call was answered. "Hello?" Came a young voice that oddly enough caused Misato to smile at hearing it.

"Hey… Kaji." Misato greeted to the young voice with a small smile on her face.

"Mom?" The voice asked and thus Misato began to speak with her son for the first after leaving him years ago. It was a massive weight off her shoulders by the fact he still remembered her voice.

(Meanwhile over with Ritsuko)

Ritsuko returned to her lab as she looked at the console in front of her. That had been to close for comfort on her part. Eve had gotten into Misato's head and was drawing her concisions into the fore. This was bad if Misato starts second guessing herself WILLE was doomed and Gendo will win. Ritsuko could not allow that because they needed to beat Gendo and survive.

Hopefully having Dr. Uzuki onboard will be of help to them in finding alternative pilots for Kaiser. Ritsuko had been prevented from attempting any more tests on Kaiser for alternative pilots by Misato. IT made sense with their limited resources and what had happened to the two who tried to operate Kaiser. Ritsuko was a genius, but her engineering skills were not up to par to construct something was ghastly and dangerous as Kaiser.

Still if Misato is like this Ritsuko may need to step in. She can't let anything get in the way of the mission to eliminate NERV and that includes WILLE's own compromised commander. Right now, it's not an issue but it was only a matter of time before it does and Ritsuko needs to make countermeasures for that. Still with he upcoming mission Ritsuko needed to keep a closer eye on Misato. If Misato proves to be unreliable in WILLE's ultimate goal then Ritsuko will have to neutralize Misato, the Kaiser Pilots, and Eve before they become issues. The Psycho Gear Pilots may be useful but that was currently yet to be seen.

(Scene Break Mission Site Wundur)

The Wundur's crew were at their battle stations as they prepared to attack Death Stars Base. Ritsuko had been experimenting with different deployment methods for the Mechs and EVA Units. None of it is ready yet so they will have to deploy the mechs and EVA's outside the prison base. The crew were all giving out technical readouts from communications shared between different levels of the Wundur as they prepared for Deployment against Death Star.

"Commander we're arriving at the drop point now." Ritsuko reported as Misato nodded to this.

"Good." Misato said as she hid a small smirk on her face one, she had not used for 14 years. "Are the pilots ready for deployment?" Misato asked and thus Midori nodded to this response.

"Yes ma'am." Midori said as she was being careful with her hand after Akira stabbed it. "Good then prepare to drop." Misato ordered ready to deal another serious blow to NERV and to Gendo Ikari.

"Yes ma'am!" The crew responded as they got ready to deploy. The entire crew however noticed something different about Misato, not a bad thing in fact it seemed to suit her.

(Meanwhile over with Asuka)

Asuka sat in her Entry Plug submerged in LCL as her mind was stuck on what Eve had said after the mission briefing prior. The girl didn't know why but something about what she said stirred something inside the redhead. She didn't know what or why, but it was scratching the back of her head a bit. Asuka could see why Wonder Girls spawn would rather wait till after the mission to talk to her.

Asuka was then drawn from her thoughts when a voice was heard from the communications link. "Major Shikinami are you ready for deployment?" Came the voice of the command bridge members of the Wundur.

"Yes." Asuka responded calmly opting to cast her thoughts to the back of her mind and deal with them later.

"Confirmed." The crew said and int urn Asuka steeled her resolve once again for the mission. The mission first then whatever it was that Eve needed to talk to Asuka about. So, with her resolve renewed Asuka prepared for the launch sequence to face off against NERV once more and any who followed the rogue group.

(Scene Break Death Stars Prison)

The Wundur flew over the area and already upon arrival cannons and artillery fire was being shot towards the vessel. When they arrived the prison base instantly started to attack without giving so much as a demand like military would. Death Star glared at the scene as she saw the Wundur, and its fleet were attacking her fortress.

"How dare they." She snarled while glaring at the scene before her. "Shoot them out of the sky!" Death Star roared and thus the troops nodded.

"At once." One bridge member said as she went about deploying their forces to intercept WILLE.

(Meanwhile back with the Wundur)

Skull Pilder and Wingles' Pilder flew around the Wundur as the top launch bay began to open up. From there Kaiser was the first to rise from it which Akira and Kuzo grinned at. "Here we go! PILDER!" Akira began as Skull Pilder shifted into its full skull form.

"ON!" Kuzo called out and in turn the Pilder attached to its position on Kaiser's crown. From there the skull robots eyes flashed with azure light. Kaiser began to move and headed to leap off the Wundur ready to kick some ass.

Eve in her Pilder would follow suit as she flew towards Wingle's head as the female mech rose from the Wundur's top side hatch. "Pilder on!" Eve invoked and thus her Pilder converted before attaching to the top of Wingle's head causing her topaz eyes to flash to life. Wingle then spread her wings ready for battle before taking flight off from the Wundur.

From the Bottom hatch the Psycho Gears deployed towards the ground. The female mechs all small boosters attached to them to make for a safe landing. Once they hit the ground the boosters detached as Wingle soon joined them with Kaiser. Asuka and Mari would also join after deploying in their EVA Units to lead the charge against Death Scythe and her forces.

"You know the plan, get in, draw out the boss, and kill her!" Asuka called out making it clear they would fight with everything they had here.

"In coming!" Misty cried out and thus they all saw the auto defenses targeting them with several Mecha's charging them.

"ALRIGHT!" Akira called out as Kaiser drew its Ganzanto and lead the charge. "LET'S HAVE FUNE!" Akira roared with Kaiser charging at their foes. Wingle and the Psycho Gears were right behind Kaiser with the EVA Units tailing behind them. Kaiser started by cleaving through several of the enemy troops with his massive sword all the while Akira roared out. Rip and tear Kaisers Ganzanto was perfect for such things and Akira was making full use of his favorite sword.

He then parried a blow and thus allowed for Wingle to fly over and with her blade on her heel sliced the robot in two with a downward kick.

Wingle then flipped over and spun around slice through every enemy mech she came upon. Wingle then too to the sky once more and launched that blade before having the other arm blade join it. The two blades flew around and took out several enemy mechs with clean precise cuts. Once Wingle reattached her arm blades she landed on the ground and glared at her foes.

Near the back Asuka and Mari were providing support fire to the mechs as they needed to clear the Anti-EVA Weapons that Death Star utilized. Wingle of course was far from done as she then drew her melee weapon from her left breasts and held it at the ready. With this weapon Wingle soon charged through the foes and sliced her way through them using her superior speed and agility to stay one step ahead of them. Once this was done Wingle was then joined by the Psycho Gears with Hurricane leading the charge.

"Hey Eve save some for the rest of us!" Hurricane said with a smirk on her face.

"Very well, support me." Eve said and thus the four female mechs charged into the fight to clear the path. Flash and Misty fired off their weapons at a few of the larger mechs and then moved to allow Wingle and Hurricane to finish these mechs off. The enemy mechs had of course tried to fight back but were no match for the superior machines and those piloting them.

Meanwhile Kaiser, Asuka, and Mari were all taking care of another grouping of enemy mechs as Kaiser tore through their Anti-EVA defenses. With a mighty roar Kaiser was proving to be every bit of the powerhouse it was with Asuka and Mari supporting the mech.

Death Stars forces were taking a beating curtesy of WILLE's forces and thus the enemy mechs had gone for ranged attacks instead. "Akira!" Kuzo called knowing this was where he flourished.

"Right!" Akira said and thus he and Kuzo switched positions for Kaiser's controls.

With Kuzo in control of Kaiser the skull robot drew his Breast Triggers and began to open fire on the enemy mechs. Moving in close Kaiser cleared a path for Asuka and Mari while also shooting and chopping through the opposition. A good chunk of Death Stars forces had been eliminated thanks to the combined might of these robots and the two EVA units with them.

"Ok that should take care of the EVA based defenses." Hurricane said as she saw no more of that stuff.

"Then time to breach the gate." Eve said and in turn they got moving again.

(Meanwhile over with Death Star)

"It's the skull mech! Its back!" Death Star snarled as she saw Kaiser was approaching. "This is perfect!" She said with a savage grin adoring her face. "I bring back Kaiser and I get Kiba's shit and priority over Slum King." Death Star said showing she was excited for this. "Get my mech ready I'll lead from the front!" Death Star said and thus the crew nodded and fearfully began the preparations for the deployment.

(Meanwhile over with Jun Uzuki)

Jun was casually walking out of her cell as on either side of her were a pair of dead guards. She had easily been able to trick them into her cell where she had quickly dealt with them. Her hands were covered in blood that she was cleaning up with a cloth. Taking one of the sidearms she casually left the room while also putting on a pair of stolen shades. Exiting the next door, she saw another guard and before he could act Jun shot him in the head.

"Well then let's see how my greatest creation has been faring." Jun said with a sadistic grin on her face. She was making her escape now and had every intention of seeing the full fury of her greatest creation, Kaiser.

(Meanwhile over with Death Star)

Death Star took her seat inside the cockpit of her robot as the cockpit closed around her before changing tint to match the robots head. She could see outside but no one can see inside giving her plenty of protection from any enemies targeting her. The systems began to start up and from there Death Star grin with a sadistic glee showing she was ready for battle.

"Now time to show why no man can defeat that Skull Mech." Death Star said ready for deployment.

(Back at the Battle Outside)

The group of robots and biomechs were getting closer to their objective as they cleaved through Death Stars battle Mechs. From what the EVA Pilots could see the mechs much like Kiba's had used something akin to the Jet Alone technology but heavily modified and upgraded for this battle type.

Soon enough Death Stars Fortress was within sight but just as they got close something happened. There were more battle mechs here and soon their leader would appear. The top of the base opened up and from it the white Wingle type rose from it. Once it was out her wings spread and thus, she flew into the fight.

"Well, we got her attention now!" Mari called as she saw this.

"Open fire!" Asuka ordered and int urn everyone who had a gun fired upon the flying female mech. The robots avoided the shots before deploying two machines that proceeded to fire upon them. The group was forced to cover as Kaiser switched for the Ganzanto. Using the sword Kaiser blocked the shots as Death Star flew around the battle. She then landed atop a much larger mech similar to when Eve had first appeared to help WILLE with Wingle.

"About time you showed up Skull mech!" Death Star announced as she pointed down upon Kaiser. "They saw no man can kill the devil; I say that's because you need a woman to do it." She said and thus Mari rolled her eyes at this.

"Oh, great she's one of those." Mari said and thus Death Star roared and took flight once more. In response she was intercepted by Wingle who clashed with her before both sides parted ways. They flew around each other for a moment trading blows left and right. Despite being a prototype Death Stars robot was able to keep up with Wingle thanks to the upgrades she had made to it.

Wingle's arm blades clashed against Death Stars talons before both parted ways from each other. "Who dares!?" Death Star roared out before she got a good look at Eve inside Wingle's cockpit. "You!" Death Star growled as she recognized who she was facing right now.

"Its been some time since we met, Death Star." Eve responded calmly to the woman who craved to enact violence.

"I was hoping to cross paths with you, after you caused that break out my spotless record was tainted." Death Star said as she remembered how Eve had broken in to bust out Akira 4-years-ago.

"Don't get your hopes up." Eve responded before she directed her attention to her allies. "Ground team continue the mission I'll deal with Death Star." Eve said ready to fight off Death Star and her battle mech for the mission.

"Right!" Akira responded before directing his attention over to Death Star's forces. "We'll just clean house here." He said before licking his lips in anticipation. Then with a roar Kaiser charged in raising the Ganzanto against Death Star's followers intent on killing them all with the fury befitting a devil. The two Psycho Gears and EVA units followed after Kaiser noting to keep their distance but still remain close to provide the skull mech support.

(Meanwhile back on the Wundur)

The Wundur crew was monitoring the battle while also providing any support they could. "We have confirmation Death Star has joined the battle." Midori reported as this meant they can now move on to the second part of the plan.

"Alright have extraction teams move in to retrieve our VIP." Misato ordered and thus the WILLE crew nodded to this. "Also keep an eye on Asuka just in case things go south." Misato added towards Ritsuko as they needed to make sure that Shinji does not have an excuse to have to come save them.

The battle was going in their favor right now but even Misato knew that something was bound to happen. No battle is ever this easy and even with Kaiser there had to be some sort of catch to it all. So, keeping her eyes peeled Misato monitored the mission while giving orders where they were needed.

Ritsuko for her part simply looked at Misato and had concerns after their talk. But right now, she pushed it back to focus on the battle against Death Star. Still, she needed to keep a close eye on Misato in case she does something that causes them a chance to take out Gendo Ikari.

(Wingle vs Death Star Battle)

Wingle and Death Star flew around each other as the two, winged mechs were attempting to best the other. This was a battle of the skies as their clashes was quick hit and run maneuvers. Wingle flew back and sent her boomerang blades at Death Star who avoided the attack by spinning around them. The blades came back which Death Star avoided only to be blindsided by Wingle who kicked her towards the ground.

As the blades re-attached to Wingle's arms Death Star growled before fixing her flight and flying off in her mech through a nearby ravine. Wingle gave chase to the opposing mech as the two female formed machines were trying to gain the advantage over the other.

Death Star meanwhile smirked as Wingle chased her down no doubt the pilot Eve was zeroing in on her not paying attention to her surroundings. High above behind Wingle one of the hovering devices Death Star had deployed earlier had begun to make itself known and was joined by a second one. Both devices went down and went after Wingle ready to attack. Death Star pulled up and Wingle followed suit only to be attacked by the devices chasing her.

Eve was wide eyed by this as she was hit and sent to the ground from the sudden attack. She hit the nearby cliffside and in doing so broke a part of it off. Wingle began to get back up only for Death Star to use her mechs talons to grab down on the Wingle. Eve cried out as Death Star rose to the sky once more carrying Eve along. Unknown to either of them the mountain side Eve and her Wingle had crashed into broke apart to reveal a smooth crimson surface underneath it. Said surface began to give off a faint glow as the battle had stirred something from a deep slumber untold.

Back with Wingle in the sky, Death Star's mech carried her prey higher as Wingle was struggling to get free. Alas Death Star's grip on Eve was not going to give anytime soon but she would continue to resist her. Death Star smirked and then sent Wingle to the ground with a flip to add momentum to her throw. Wingle flew down unable to fix her flight but acting fast Eve had her mech launch the two arm blades at Death Star intent to bisect the opposing mech before her.

But then the drones that had been assisting Death Star's mech flew in and to her shock produced an AT-Field. Wingle's blades bounced off of the AT-Field and returned to their owner who continued to fall. The drones then flew out and proceeded to attack Wingle causing her speed of descent to increase before she eventually crashed into the ground hard. When Wingle crashed the destructive impacted caused her to be covered in rubble.

"Surprise?" Death Star asked in a taunting tone to Eve while she hovered closer to the ground. "A gift from NERV part of some big project and they had spares." Death Star said as the two drones flew around her mech. "Have to say best toy they've ever given to me." Death Star said with a vile laugh at her foe.

"Dammit." Eve cursed to herself as she then had an idea to get the jump on Death Star. All Eve needed was for Death Star to come a bit closer.

(Meanwhile back on the Wundur)

Alerts were blaring as the Wingle was in trouble and Eve with it. "Shit Eve is on the ropes!" Hideki called out and thus Misato looked to her crew.

"The enemy unit is using an AT-Field projector Wingle can't touch it with her current armaments." Another called out and thus Misato knew Wingle needed help.

"Prepare to deploy a rifle for her!" Misato called out knowing this was WILLE's time to assist Wingle. Misato then went to her communications link to contact Akira and Kuzo. "Kaiser Wingle is in trouble move to assist her!" Misato called out to the links.

(Meanwhile with the main battle)

"A little busy here!" Akira snarled as he cleaved through another battle MECH as they tried to keep the enemies focus away from the Wundur. Kaiser was currently holding back a larger mech that seemed to carry two horns and was trying to charge him.

In fact, all the combat units were currently busy with other foes. The Psycho Gears Squadron was holding back a group of battle mechs that looked like harpies while Asuka and Mari were currently dealing with a lanky looking mech.

(Back over on the Wundur)

"Shit." Misato cursed knowing that right now Eve and her Wingle was on her own.

"Ma'am rifle ready for deployment!" A bridge tech called out and thus Misato nodded.

"Wait for my signal." Misato said as she had a plan, but they needed an opening for her plan to work.

(Meanwhile back over with Wingle)

Death Star laughed as she came close to Wingle's location laughing in a most sinister of manners as she was ready to finish her off. "This should clear up my record nicely." She said her tone smug and haughty.

But just as her talon leg was close to the ground Wingle's arm shot out and grabbed her foe by her leg. Eve glared at Death Star as did Wingle to her prototype before roaring and flipping Death Star over slamming her mech to the ground. Wingle then detached a blade and sent it to her now raised leg before slamming it down on Death Star. Death Star however managed to avoid it and summoned her drones once more to fight.

"Wingle!" Misato's voice came up on Eve's communication link. "We're sending you a rifle use it!" Misato called and in turn Eve saw the something flying towards her from the Wundur. Eve then had Wingle fly up and in turn saw the pod coming her way. Seeing the chance Wingle flew at it and just in time the pod burst open to reveal a rifle.

Wingle managed to grab the rifle and activate it taking aim at Death Star and her drones. Eve glared at her foe and in turn Death Star snarled and went on the attack. The Drones attacked first but Eve was ready so in turn she fired off the rifle at them. The Drones had their AT-Fields pierced taking out Death Stars only method of defense before she got close to Wingle. Once she was close Wingle fired the last of the rifles ammunition directly into the midsection of Death Stars mech before kicking her back. Wingle then jumped up and with her blade back on her heel again she performed a downward spin and sliced into the opposing mechs cockpit.

Death Star cried out from this as for a moment there was nothing. But then Death Stars screams were heard as her blood spewed out while her two halves fell apart. The mad woman's innards and guts were spilled out into the cockpit as her mech fell to its knees oil and blood mixing together into a grotesque view of metal.

"Target eliminated." Eve reported while glaring at where Death Star died.

"Confirmed return to the main battle so we can clean up." Midori said and thus with a nod Wingle jumped back. Eve glared at Death Star's remains for a bit longer before she went to return to the main battle with the others.

(Back at the main battle)

The Psycho Gears all came at the last and largest of Death Stars mech forces and sliced through it. Kaiser followed up by jumping high into the air with Ganzanto raised high. Akira roared as Kaiser brought the massive sword down teeth first and tore into the mech with it.

"NOW DIE!" Asuka yelled as she fired off a rocket at the enemy robot once Kaiser exposed its main power source. The rocket hit and in turn Kaiser and the Psycho Gears all jumped back as the robot then exploded with blazing fury.

The four robots and two EVA units all stood together as they were surrounded by the destroyed remains of Death Stars forces. Soon enough Wingle flew in as she landed on the ground with the others. "Death Star is dead." Eve stated simply to them.

"Good now let's find the good doctor call the UN and call it a day." Mari said as she wondered how WILLE was doing on that front. "By the way anyone heard from the team?" Mari asked wondering what was taking the team so long.

(Meanwhile with the Extraction Team)

The extraction Team was on the ground as they were more or less passing the time awaiting for their target to show up. They've already had to fire at several prisoners and guards alike that tried to attack them. It was not a pretty time for any of them to see how far humans fall when society collapses around them.

But just as they were about to call it in a gunshot was heard and they saw another guard falling over dead. Behind him was a woman who seemed to be casually walking towards them while reloading a stolen handgun. Jun Uzuki had in fact made her escape and as she approached the VTOLS the WILLE troops pointed their rifles at her.

"Dr. Jun Uzuki?" A lone soldier asked and in turn Jun smirked.

"I'm guessing you're my ride… and those are my robots out there… right?" Jun said more then she asked daring them to try something with her.

"Y-yes." The soldiers said and thus Jun smiled. But then she suddenly pointed her gun at a lone soldier and fired it off. The soldier was wide eyed but then saw he was unharmed. Looking to where Jun shot a prisoner was about to pounce on them before Jun shot him square in the forehead.

"Come on… I don't have all day." Jun said as she got into the VTOL ready to leave this prison.

(Meanwhile back on the Wundur)

"Ma'am they got her!" Midori called and thus Misato smiled to this grateful for the success of this operation.

"Thank god." Misato said and in turn all became to calm. But alas their sigh of relief was short lived as soon alarms began to blare. Misato was wide eyed to this and thus needed answers. "Report!" Misato ordered only for the bridge crew to go wide eyed in shock.

"Ma'am the systems are detecting a Blue Blood Pattern!" Shigeru called out and thus all eyes were widened in shock. A Blue Blood Patter could only mean one thing, something that had not been seen in over 14 years.

"It's an Angel." Misato said shocked over what was coming their way.

(Meanwhile down at the battlefield)

The entire ground was shaking as all the mechs, and EVA units were trying to hold their ground from it. "What's going on now?!" Asuka asked as she thought this was all done now.

Just then the ground began to break apart and from the fissure a roar familiar to the EVA Pilots was heard. The Angel was serpentine in origins as it had a massive maw that hid a large green gem inside it. Just bellow the bird like mask of the Angel was its core that glowed bright with its power. IT had two sets of arms, one pair were razor sharp and needed to be avoided, the second pair seemed to be some sort of ranged weapon judging by how it was designed. The Angel had a pair of large wings on its back as it rose from the ground and spread its wings to the sky.

"Well, that motherfucker is all sorts of ugly." Akira said as he glared at the massive Angel towering before him.

"An Angel." Asuka gasped when she saw the massive foe not realizing that there were still Angels on this Earth.

"Looks like we missed one." Mari said as she smirked at the massive foe. The creature glared at them and in turn all guns were armed on it. Acting fast the EVA Pilots opened fire on it but in doing so the Angel retaliated with an attack of its own. The Angel fired off two powerful shots from its oddly shaped arms. The beams were powerful, and the entire group were forced to move out of the way in order to avoid being hit. The beams tore through the ground and all that stood in the way of the fury.

The Angel was not done as it soon followed up with another attack. When the eye sockets of the bird mask flashed massive explosions went off shaped as crosses. The ground unit was barely able to avoid it, but it was clear that the Angel was of similar strength to Zuriel over 14 years ago.

Mari went on the attack firing her guns at the massive Angel, but its AT-Field tanked the shots before it used its serpentine tail to swipe the area. Mari was hit as was Misty and Flash from the Pyscho Gear Units.

"Misty Flash!" Hurricane cried out when she saw that her two friends got hurt. "Bastard!" Hurricane roared and went on the attack against the Angel and sliced at it after taking to the air. The Angel roared and released its AT-Field to block the attack.

"Hurricane run!" Misty cried out as soon the Angel had one of its beam arms pointed at Hurricane. Before the Angel could fire Wingle flew in and got Hurricane out of the way before firing off her borrowed rifle at the Angel. The weapon was useless against the Angel as the shots bounced off its AT-Field.

"Shit this thing is strong." Asuka cursed as she saw how powerful the Angel before her was. The Angel roared angered by its unwelcomed waking but regardless followed the call to its creator. Kaiser then roared with its pilots as he charged at the Angel with the Ganzanto at the ready. The Angel saw him, swiped with its claws, and attempted to slice Kaiser in two. Acting fast Akira had the Ganzanto up to block the attack using the weapons flat side. The Angel however was not stopped as Kaiser was pushed across the ground his feet tearing through it before being sent flying by the angel.

Kaiser hit the mountain side and for a moment nothing happened. But then Kaiser's fists came flying out towards the angel. The first attack clashed against its AT-Field struggling to break through it with brute force. But then the Angel was blindsided by Kaiser's second fist delivering an uppercut via a hole in its defenses. The Angels head was sent upward before Kaiser's first fist broke through and slammed into the Angel's chest area.

The place where Kaiser crashed began to clearly show Kaiser was alive and well. The fists returned and Kaiser picked up his dropped sword holding the weapon in both hands. "If you wanna kill us your gonna have to do a lot better then that!" Akira called out with a wide savage grin on his face.

(Meanwhile in Jun Uzuki's VTOL)

Jun saw the battle taking place as she saw that her Kaiser and Wingle were facing an Angel. "Its 14 years late but time to show the world that to kill an Angel… you need a Devil to do it." Jun said as she grinned at the sight currently taking place.

(Over on the Wundur)

"So, it can be caught by surprise." Ritsuko said as she saw how Kaiser's attack blindsided the Angel.

"Everyone hit and run tactics try and carve away at it." Misato ordered and thus everyone understood.

"RIGHT!" The pilots all called out ready to keep fighting.

(Back to the main battle)

Wingle flew over the Angel firing its rifle upon the Angel unloading her fury upon it. The Angel uses its wings to shield its body from an air attack before it fired its beam upward at Wingle. Wingle avoided the attack thanks to her lithe form and her superior speed.

Next Kaiser was next as the Ganzanto was on its back while the Breast Triggers were in Kaiser's hand meaning Kuzo was commanding the mech. Kaiser weaved through the Angels attacks while firing off his Breast Trigger at the massive Angel. As Kaiser did this he weaved through the attacks before chopping into some of the Angels exposed flesh. The Angel roared in pain before swiping its tail at Kaiser only for Kaiser to jump away to avoid it. The Angel then glared and saw where Kaiser landed before setting off another cross explosion exactly where Kaiser had landed.

The blast went off covering Kaiser in its fury only for Kaiser to come back out with the Ganzanto drawn meaning Akira was in control again. The Angel then charged at Kaiser and before they could clash the Angel swerved around Kaiser and wrapped its body around him. The Angel then proceeded to fling Kaiser away causing Akira and Kuzo to cry out from the flight. The skull mech landed on the ground nearby creating an impact crater from the force and the robots own weight.

"Dammit." Asuka cursed as she saw that they were getting their asses kicked. "So much for the ultimate fighting machine." Asuka scoffed as she glared at Kaiser. "Whatever… JUST FUCKING DIE!" Asuka roared and opened fire on the Angel drawing its attention upon her. The Angel then shifted tactics with her sensing one of its own was inside the Lilim.

It decided to use something special for Asuka and thus opening its maw it revealed a massive green gem within. The Gem then let out a powerful glow and with it shined upon Asuka's EVA. What came next was Asuka's horrified screams as the Angel was hitting the redheaded pilot with an entirely new attack.

(Meanwhile back on the Wundur)

"Asuka! What's wrong!?" Misato calls out when she heard Asuka screaming.

But she doesn't respond but instead, the crew watches as she empties her clip into the air, each shot driving Eva back from the force of the kickback. The first three make it over the horizon, and the last four explode throughout various parts of the battlefield nearly hitting her allies before dropping the weapon all together.

"AAHHH! OH GOD! IT'S IN MY HEAD!" Asuka cried out as she felt the Angel tearing its way into her mind.

"ASUKA! WHAT'S HAPPENING!?" Misato shouts again trying to figure out what was going on.

Again, the young girl cannot respond. She claws at the top of her head to try to stop the flow of information into her brain. Images flash in her mind.

"It's a psychic attack!" Ritsuko cried out shocked that the Angel could do this. 'Does it sense the other Angel inside Asuka?' Ritsuko asked trying to make sense of what she saw.

(Meanwhile in Unit-02 Entry Plug)

Inside her entry plug Asuka clutched her head in pain with her Eva does the same. "Stop! Stop this!" Asuka cried out as her eye patch was giving off an azure blue glow while she tried to force the Angel out from her mind. She clawed at the top of her head to try to stop the flow of information into her brain. Images flash in her mind and from these images she found something off.

Asuka found herself in her cloning tube again, but something was wrong. Flashes went from it as she saw images she did not recognize. She heard gunfire and screams that she didn't know the origin of. "Stop this what are you showing me!?" Asuka cried out as she saw a man and a woman in front of her tube looking almost desperate. The woman was typing away on the console while the man had a rifle at the door.

Soon banging was heard at the steel doors as Asuka found herself much smaller then she recalled. The man got ready to open the door and fight till his last breath.

"Kyoko run!" The man cried out to the woman named Kyoko.

"NO! Not my daughter!" The woman named Kyoko cried out as she kept typing at the console connected to Asuka's tube.

"Wait… d-daughter?!" Asuka asked shocked at what she had just heard from this.

(Back to the Battle)

The Angel continued its mental attack while moving towards the downed Unit-02. As Asuka cried out wanting the pain to stop something began to happen. From the sidelines Kaiser's fists shot out from behind the downed EVA and hit the Angel square in its maw. The first punch broke through the AT-Field the second one slammed into the green gem in its wide-open maw. The punch had enough force that it ended up shattering the crystal inside the Angels mouth. Unit-02 fell down limp on the ground and turning to the source they saw Kaiser had just saved Asuka instead of attacking while the Angel was wide open for attack.

"Hey, you're an Angel, right?" Akira asked with a grin on his face. "Well meet the Devil!" Akira called out and thus he and Kuzo both shared a sadistic grin. "After all, if we see a God, we cut down that good." Akira said as he was ready to fight.

"If we see a devil, we shoot down that devil." Kuzo continued as he knew what was coming.

"We fight because we wanna fight!" Akira said as Kaiser had the Ganzanto ready for battle.

"We smash because wanna smash!" Kuzo said as he held Kaiser's control tightly in his hands.

"WE DON'T NEED JUSTIFICATIONS!" Akira and Kuzo roared before he directed his attention over to Eve and Wingle.

"Eve it's time to bust out the, you know what!" Akira called out and thus Eve heard this and also began to smirk at what was coming.

"Alright but I need time and room, Hurricane you and Mari cover me, Misty, Flash you two get to Asuka!" Eve ordered and thus the group nodded.

Mari and Hurricane began to fire upon the Angel to draw its attention while Misty and Flash ran over to the downed Unit-02 to move it to safety. In turn Wingle flew away from the battle passing the Wundur much to the crews shock at this.

(Meanwhile over in the Wundurs Command deck)

"Where the Hell is she going?!" Midori asked when she saw this happen.

"The, You-know-what?" Hideki asked as he was still stuck on that bit.

"It's the Wing Cross." Jun was heard and soon all eyes saw that Jun made it to the command deck of the Wundur as she was grinning to her liberators. "Your about to witness why my Kaiser is superior to the EVA units." Jun said with a savage smile as she was excited over what was about to take place.

(Back with Wingle and Eve)

Wingle Flew through the sky breaking the sound barrier as she did so before she suddenly came to a stop. Once Eve had the right numbers she pushed forward on her controls and Launched Wingle back to the battlefield she flew away from for Wing Cross.

With her trajectory and speed Wingle was breaking the sound barrier again as her form began to heat up. "Tiara Ale and Arsine Guard, release!" Eve invoked and in turn launched what was needed for Kaiser to use.

Wingle's wings and the read armor detached from her body as she came close to the Wundur. As Wingle's tiara and guard combined and flew towards Kaiser the female mech herself landed on the Wundur safely.

The wings flew towards Kaiser just as the Angel was about to attack Kaiser again. Kaiser blocked the Angels attack and pushed it away from him allowing for the Wing Cross to slam into it knocking it back.

"It's the Wing Cross!" Kuzo called out as he saw Kaiser's wings.

"Yeah!" Akira called out with clear excitement in his voice. Akira then roared out as he had Kaiser throw the Ganzanto at the Angel with no time for it to retaliate. Thus, the Angel lost one of its beam arms as it stabbed in the ground behind the Angel. The Angel roared out in pain as Kaiser ran towards its sword and then jumped off of it using the weapon as a springboard to launch himself upward.

Kaiser and the Wings were in position as the wings attached to Kaiser's back where a slot opened up with connectors melding the wings to Kaiser. When the wings were locked in Kaiser's azure eyes shifted to topaz yellow.

"Alright it's accepting out commands!" Kuzo said as he saw the Wing Cross was a success.

"A good gambler always saves an Ace for the right moment." Akira said with a grin on his face.

The Angel then roared and fired its beam attack at Kaiser but unfortunately Kaiser now had the advantage. "This attack again?" Kuzo taunted and thus got to the next bit. "Then we'll fight back with RUST STREAM!" Kuzo called out and in turn from Kaisers face grills a powerful tornado shot out of it and clashes with the Angels attack. The two conflicting energies built up before both exploded and tore through the ground, they had both met at.

From the smoke Kaiser flew out with the Angel close on its tail. The two foes flew to the sky and proceeded to clash in the clouds where they had vanished into. With each clash a flash of power went off between them as everyone saw the silhouette of Kaiser and the Angel doing battle. It was almost like a scene one would describe from the Bible of Angels from on high battling Hellish devils.

(Meanwhile back on the Wundur)

"How long could they have done that!?" Hideki cried out when he saw this.

"Kaiser can fly!?" Maya asked as she saw what was happening.

"Everyone focus!" Misato cut in as they needed to focus on their current situation. While Misato would like to have a few words about this, Wing Cross immediate emergencies first. "Statues on Unit-02's pilot." Misato said and thus Midori got down to it.

"The Psycho Gears and Mari are escorting Unit-02 to the Wundur as we speak." Midori said after getting confirmation on that one.

"Good monitor the situation between Kaiser and the Angel don't miss a single moment." Misato said and thus the crew carried out their orders.

(Back to Kaiser vs the Angel)

Kaiser and the Angel flew away from each other as they continued their battle. During this Kaiser had the Breast Triggers drawn and aimed at the Angel ready to fire. From there a crimson red glow filled up on the guns as Kuzo smiled sadistically when he saw this glow.

"Pulse bream glow fully charged." Kuzo said as he aimed the guns at the Angel. "So, Angel where would you like to be shot?" Kuzo asked before he opened fire on the Angel. The Angels AT-Field was not able to handle the rapid-fire shots for long and was forced to fly away to avoid the attack. Kaiser gave chase to the Angel as the battle was far from over.

Eventually the gun fire stopped as the Angel tried to run for it. Once the Angel got for enough its mask eyes began to glow for its next attack. "Banter isn't fun if the other guy can't respond." Akira said as he switched with Kuzo. Kaiser then avoided the Angels' cross beam and thus had its fist pointed at it. "TORNADO CRUSHER!" Akira invoked and thus launched Kaiser's right fist at the Angel. The Angel stopped it with its AT-Field but then the arm began to spin before it drilled through the field and punching the Angel in its mask.

Just as Kaiser's fist returned the Angel was already upon the skull robot and proceeded to bash into it. As the two fell the Angel wrapped its body around Kaiser intent on crushing the skull robot in its vice grip. The pair crashed and thus created smokescreen around the two.

Kaiser was pinned down as the Angel increased the pressure. Akira growled from the pressure as Kuzo held on with a firm resolve in himself. Akira glared at the Angel as it roared at them before he noticed the Ganzanto where he had left it. Akira smirked and launched Kaiser's free arm at the sword with an idea to free himself and do some damage to the Angel as well.

The blade returned and sliced into the Angel forcing it to free Kaiser from its grip. When the arm returned Kaiser put distance between himself and the Angel for his next attack. Kaiser then proceeded to raise the Ganzanto to the sky as thunder began to form high in the clouds as if summoned forth by the skull robots will. Then with a thunderclap a massive bolt of lightning came down striking Kaiser's sword and using Kaiser's horns the power was being focused.

The Angel was shocked over what it saw as Akira smirked at this scene. "And now! THOR HAMMER BREAKER!" Akira invoked before unleashing the attack on the Angel. Its AT-Field was useless now as the attack easily broke through the absolute defense. The Angel was blasted back by the move as Kaiser got ready for its finisher. Kaiser then flew over to the Angel and got ready to skewer it on its sword. "Get ready for a boiling pot of Hell!" Akira called out before he had Kaiser make its move. In turn the Angel found itself pinned by the Ganzanto as Kaiser had stabbed it into the Angel to prevent it from trying to escape him.

Kaiser then flew upward as the Angel had nowhere left to run and no way of escaping its fated end. Kuzo smirked and thus got ready to fire off Kaiser's strongest weapon in his arsenal. "INFERNO BLASTER!" Kuzo invoked and when Kaiser's chest plate had charged up the Skull Robot unleashed its most powerful weapon. The Angel was attacked with the infernal fury of Hell itself as its body was being destroyed the damage Kaiser was causing was spreading out.

The Angel finally had enough and in a final ditch effort it unleashed its final move. If it had to die so, be it, but it will be taking this Devil down with it. The Angel's core caved in and then blasted out before its entire form went up in a giant crimson explosive cross. The blast was large as the Angel was trying to kill Kaiser as it died.

(Back over on the Wundur)

When everyone saw the explosion needless to say they were all in shock to what they saw. "Statues report!" Misato called out as she needed to know if Kaiser was still there.

"I can't get a read on it." Midori said as they were trying to get some signal from the Angels own ground zero. "Did that do it? Is Kaiser destroyed?" Midori mumbled to herself with hope that Kaiser and the pilots were dead.

"Wait I have movement detected." Shigeru called out and Makoto cut in.

"Images restored putting it on screen now." Makoto said and thus they all saw the smoke where the Angel had died. But then then saw Kaiser was flying out from the smoke alive and well despite the battle. Everyone was surprised that Kaiser had managed to survive that… well everyone but Jun obviously. Jun for her part just smiled at the scene as she now had proof that her creation could and would have won the Angel Wars.

"Is this… Kaiser's power?" Ritsuko asked with concern feeling like they were only scratching the surface of this robots fury.

(Scene Break later with Misato)

Long after Kaiser had detached the Wing Cross and had been loaded up with Wingle, the Psycho Gears, and the EVA units Misato was meeting with Ritsuko. "So how is our new guest?" Misato asked as she sat in her office.

"So far, she has quickly acclimated herself and I've already began setting up a workstation for her." Ritsuko said with a calm tone. "She's heavily monitored but it seems she isn't very keen to that after removing said monitoring devices." Ritsuko said noting how she recently found a box filled with said devices outside her office.

"She's perceptive." Misato said as this was not ok for them.

"Yes, she's taken over any and all work involving Kaiser, Wingle, and the Psycho Gears." Ritsuko added and thus Misato got to the important part of their post mission discussion.

"How is Asuka doing?" Misato asked with concern for the weapon.

"She's stable and I've done a thorough check on her, seems she will make it through." Ritsuko said before she got to the important part. "I have some concerns over her mental wellbeing but as long as she can pilot, we can worry about it later." Ritsuko said but Misato had other ideas.

"No… have her under observation." Misato said as this got Ritsuko worried. "In the event your wrong we lose a pilot so again keep her under observation." Misato said not wanting Asuka to have a mental breakdown here.

"I see." Ritsuko said seeing the logic in Misato's words. "Commander… are you acting out as a leader our out of sentimentality?" Ritsuko asked and thus Misato sighed in frustration to Ritsuko.

"Dismissed." Misato said and thus Ritsuko sighed and took her leave. Once she was alone Misato locked the door before letting out a sigh. After her talk with her son Misato had all but been ready to break down but had not. She wasn't entirely sure how long she had spent talking to her boy… but it felt like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. But in its place was shame that she had basically been lying to her son.

Kaji Jr. had been told that she had been doing important work and he was understanding of her situation. She hadn't been doing this for mankind she was just doing it for revenge, but Eve's words had shaken her worldview to see this fact about herself. She needed to be better for both of her boys for Shinji and for Kaji. For the sake of her children, she must be better, and Misato planned to carry through with that promise.

Asuka laid in her medical bed the events of her… mental attack, fresh in her mind. Turning to her side Asuka's mind was focused on the images she saw of those people… Kyoko and one Asuka assumed to be her husband. Who were they and why were they protecting her cloning pod? Asuka assumed they were protecting an asset but from what or who? But the words Kyoko had spoken had really struck Asuka deep.

'No! Not my Daughter!' The memory of the woman's voice spoke with frantic panic. Why was she calling Asuka her daughter? Asuka had no parents she was just a clone a fake existence made for the EVA Project. Just then the door to her hospital room opened and from it Akira walked in.

"Oh, great it's you again." Asuka growled as she glared at Akira for a moment.

"Yeah, good to see you two eye patch." Akira said causing Asuka to growl. "Hey if you get to give people unflattering nicknames then don't get annoyed when you're on the receiving end." Akira said as he grabbed a chair and took a seat.

"What do you want?" Asuka asked as she glared at Kaiser's swordsman pilot.

"Just making sure I nailed the Angel before any lasting damage can be done." Akira said as Asuka heard this and let her guard drop if only by a small margin. Asuka heard what Akira did and had to admit it was smart and had saved Asuka from the angel. But something about that had bugged her for a bit.

"Why did you do it?" Asuka asked with some curiosity. "The Angel was vulnerable when it was attacking me… why wouldn't you take it out instead of saving me first?" Asuka asked and thus Akira scoffed to this girls question.

"I wasn't saving you because I wanted to." Akira said as he glared at Asuka. "If I didn't the members of WILLE would get on my case about it so saving you was to save myself from any future pests." Akira said making it clear that he only did it for his own self gain.

Yet… Asuka saw right through Akira perhaps being similar in personalities might have helped there. Akira talks a big game but at the end he does care for his allies in some form even if said allies don't return it.

"Thanks." Asuka said before turning on her side to sleep.

"Yeah great… now don't go offing yourself I'll end up being the first suspect." Akira said as he got up and began to walk off. Asuka rolled her eyes and just laid there for now. All in all, with now both Kiba and Death Star off the board that only left the worse of the three warlords, the Slum King.
