(Start NERV HQ Lilith's chamber)
Gendo stood with his hands behind his back as he stared up at the lifeless head of Lilith that currently had the form of Rei. As he stood there Gendo kept a cold and calculated look but to those who knew him he was annoyed due to WILLE's recent victory.
Just then Fuyutsuki showed up as he stood near Gendo as they observed the giant head. "So, it's true then… WILLE have managed to liberate Dr. Uzuki." Fuyutsuki said more then asked as he knew how bad this could be for Gendo and his scenario.
"Uzuki is a wild card what she knows vs what we know could easily change the tide of this war in WILLE's favor." Gendo said as Fuyutsuki nodded to this.
"To think she held strong for all these years, and I had thought nothing could top her translating the final scroll before destroying it." Fuyutsuki said as Jun Uzuki was infamous to SEELE for such a task. When it was clear she not only translated the final page but had fully memorized it Gendo had offered to break her so that they can learn the knowledge of the missing page. "Are you certain Jun Uzuki will reveal what she knows or that she even remembers it after 28 years of near endless torture?" Fuyutsuki asked with concern in his voice.
"I am certain of it." Gendo said as he knew Jun well and knew how close she was with Yui and Maria so long ago. While their fields of study had differentiated from each other Jun was a major threat to SEELE and by extension Gendo. The Dead Sea Scrolls had within it what SEELE believed to be instructions to attain divinity had it not been for Jun Uzuki who stole, translated, and then destroyed the final page SEELE would have won before the Angel would have even had arrived. "IT won't be long before WILLE and Kaiser become a true threat." Gendo said knowing that he needed to up his game.
"So, it's up to Slum King now." Fuyutsuki said as he hoped that Kaiser would manage to kill the bastard. Despite the man aligning with NERV Fuyutsuki felt that the Slum King would make the world safer if he had been killed already.
"It would seem that way." Gendo said knowing the Slum King was the only one remaining of the Three Warlords.
(Scene Break Kaiser's Hanger Jun)
Jun Uzuki after getting something to eat and a change of clothing was already working on Kaiser with Sakura acting as her assistant. Though Jun saw right through it as WILLE had made her into her minder. Jun did not care as she saw Wingle getting her needed repairs while she also worked on the Psycho Gears.
Repairs for both Kaiser and Wingle were already done though Kaiser hardly even needed those repairs. So now she had changed her attention on the Psycho Gears. If they were going to act as support for Kaiser, then they needed to be able to keep up with him.
"It's incredible scary but incredible." Sakura said as she observed Jun work. "Did you really build both Kaiser and Wingle all by yourself?" Sakura asked curious to how Jun pulled it off.
"By myself and with little to no funding." Jun responded with a smile on her face. "Oh bother." Jun said as she found something.
"What is it?" Sakura asked with concern before Jun pulled out another listening device.
"It seems my new employers still do not trust me." Jun said as she deactivated the device and added it to the small pile nearby.
"I'm sure that with time." Sakura began but then Jun cut her off.
"No need for that rehearsed line I hold the cards, the secrets to Kaiser and why Gendo had me locked up for so long." Jun said with a grin on her face. "It won't be long their going to want to ask me questions they'll want to know what I have that Gendo views as important." Jun said as she kept her sunglasses on. After seeing her eyes many on the ship would rather, she kept the shades on.
"So, if you don't mind me asking, what are you working on right now, ma'am?" Sakura asked and thus Jun smiled.
"I'm glad you asked." Jun said and then presented the mechs in development. "I'm upgrading WILLE's arsenal starting with the Psycho Gears." Jun said gesturing to the Gears. "Utilizing data from my Wingle I plan to increase their combat capabilities to be on par with Wingle." Jun explained as Sakura found this to be fascinating. "Honestly, a lot of WILLE's arsenal is in desperate need of upgrades all this rudimentary machinery and disgusting biotech." Jun said making her opinion on the matter.
"I see." Sakura said as she felt that Jun had a lot of insults for NERV and WILLE by extension.
"Yes, now if you'd like to make yourself useful come here and help monitor the data." Jun said gesturing to a nearby Terminal.
"Oh yes ma'am." Sakura said and thus she joined Jun in her work on the new upgrades.
(Scene Break Asuka's quarters Wundur)
Asuka was freed from the medical as she was given the clean bill. Too bad the Angel didn't do more damage as she laid in the bed. Her mind was running through the images she saw of the woman, Kyoko, and her words. It had been bothering her since she had awoken from the incident.
Who was that woman, and why was she trying to protect Asuka. More so why were those images in her head to begin with. The problem was so unnerving to Asuka that she couldn't even play her game without her mind wandering back to it. Why did that woman call Asuka her daughter, she was a clone she didn't have parents… right?
Just then a knock came at her door which drew Asuka's attention. "Go away." Asuka said only for the door to open regardless revealing Eve was behind the door. "I said to go." Asuka said as she glared at Eve who walked into the room.
"Sorry but I have business here to attend to." Eve said as she entered the room with Asuka.
"Great." Asuka growled and thus she glared over at Eve. "What do you want?" Asuka asked but then Eve entered and took a seat by Asuka's bed.
"To have that talk I had requested and now is as good a time as any." Eve said and thus Asuka scoffed and laid down on her bed.
"Too bad I'm not in the mood to talk to the brats fangirl." Asuka responded causing Eve to glare at her for that one.
"Whether you're in the mood or not is irrelevant but is relevant is the fact that I have information for you that you need to know about." Eve said which got Asuka's attention. "The information on your origins your true origins." Eve said but then Asuka scoffed.
"Don't fuck with me I already know what I am it's no secret around here." Asuka said as she got up only to have Eve shoving her PDA into Asuka's chest.
"The information that you're a clone correct the one that was fed to you by NERV and by WILLE's command." Eve said as Asuka looked to her. "It's a falsehood you think there was an original Asuka, but they lied to you." Eve said cutting straight to the point.
"Lied to me?" Asuka asked as she took the PDA in her hands.
"There never was an original Asuka, did you even bother to ask what had happened to her?" Eve asked as she looked to Asuka who grew silent in response to this. "Let me clarify did you ever ask how she allegedly died?" Eve asked as she went further and thus Asuka looked to the side.
"No… I was… wait." Asuka said as she began to put the pieces together.
"Now your starting to connect the dots." Eve said and thus Asuka was wide eyed by this.
"No, you're lying you have to be lying." Asuka said trying to make sense of it.
"All the proof you need is in that PDA don't take my word for it." Eve said as she tightened Asuka grip on the PDA. "Its data I was able to acquire from NERV and data I had added from WILLE's own serves the classified information about you that even you were not allowed to see." Eve said as she got up and began to take her leave. "I suggest you do this now." Eve said and thus she left the room leaving Asuka behind.
Asuka looked at the PDA after Eve left and for all intents and purposes, she should bring it to Misato. Show her that Eve had stolen classified information from WILLE and who knows what else. But at the same time the thoughts the visions and finally Eve's words all conspired against her rational mind. Her entire existence was being challenged and Asuka had to face that challenge. So, she activated the PDA and opened the video file on it and in turn she saw the woman from her vision.
"Hello… my name is Kyoko Zepplin Soryu nee Shikinami." Kyoko spoke as Asuka was wide eyed by this. "I'm committing this to diary so that my daughter will know the struggle I went through to bring her into the world." Kyoko said and thus the camera panned to the side revealing a familiar cloning tank. "This Embryo is to be my child due to my sterility I am unable to have a child of my own, so I had to rely on science to grant me the thing I desire." Kyoko said and thus Asuka saw the woman stare into the camera… staring at her. "Asuka, I hope when you see this that you've grown into a woman ready to face the world." Kyoko said and thus Asuka was wide eyed by this.
"Kyoko…. No wait she's…" Asuka began and thus she had to find more proof and thus she went to the next file. Every report every video file Asuka saw was more and more proof to Eve's words. Showing her development in the tube how Kyoko and her father one Amwolf Gregory Shikinami was excited for her birth. She saw images of this woman and her husband making a nursery for her and then it lead up to what had happened.
"Mission Report: Dr. Shikinami and her husband have both been silence as per orders the package has been secured and will be delivered to NERV's waiting hands." The report read and thus Asuka saw images of her infant self being taken from her now dead parents and by the looks of it they put up a fight.
Asuka dropped the PDA not long after as she began to hyperventilate the entire room was spinning as she grabbed her head. The PDA it had all the evidence and here she was the past 28 years living a lie.
"I'm not a clone?" Asuka asked shocked by this sudden revelation. NERV lied to her Ritsuko lied to her Misato lied to her WILLE lied to her. Her entire life was a lie, and she was the doll who believed it. The horror, shock, and confusion soon made way for a new emotion… anger rage. Anger at those who lied to her rage at those who stole away her life. With her mind in this emotional state Asuka had only one objective now and that was to get answers from Misato and Ritsuko to get some answers personally. Grabbing her gun Asuka stormed out of her room and made her way to the larger parts of the Wunder to find them.
(Later on, the Wundur)
A couple of WILLE agents were walking around the Wundur doing some minor patrols while going to the next area of their job. But as they did so they soon saw Asuka was coming their way, but something was off.
"Oh, uh Shikinami everything ok?" One of the guards asked but before he could react Asuka suddenly grabbed him and had her gun pointed under his head while pinning him to the wall.
"WOW THE FUCK!?" The second one asked but before he could react Asuka snarled and threw her first hostage into his friend. She took one of their guns and disarmed the other soldier before she pointed the guns at both of them.
"I won't ask twice!" Asuka snarled as she glared at the pair. "Misato and Ritsuko where are they?!" She demanded showing that she was not in the mood for any crap from WILLE today.
"I don't know." The first one said only for Asuka to shoot him in the thigh causing him to cry out in pain.
"You sure?" Asuka asked showing that if she thinks their lying to her, she won't hesitate.
"I saw her heading towards the hanger where the builder of those robots set up her lab!" The soldier cried out and thus Asuka scoffed and gave him a cloth.
"Apply pressure on the leg wound." Asuka said and thus began to make her way to Jun's lab to confront Misato and Ritsuko. Unknown to Asuka Eve was hiding behind the wall listening to the entire conversation while making sure the guards could not warn Misato, yet.
(Meanwhile over in Jun's lab)
Jun was sitting on a chair with one leg crossed over the other in a casual position. She currently had a PDA in her hand. Across from her was Misato and Ritsuko as Misato glared at the woman before her. After Jun had removed several of their listening devices Misato decided to just be straight forward with the mad scientist.
"So, I guess you decided to stop with the cloak and dagger routine." Jun said with a smirk not even bothering to raise her head from her PDA to look at either Misato or Ritsuko. "To afraid I would try to lie or withhold information?" Jun taunted only for Misato to cut in.
"Just get on with it what is it that you know that Gendo would spend all this time trying to get it out of you?" Misato asked as she wanted answers here.
"I'm sure the Doctor here can fill in some blanks." Jun said as she gestured over to Ritsuko. "She was part of Gendo's inner circle somewhat." Jun said as Ritsuko was wide eyed at this revelation of what Jun knew.
"Blanks? What blanks?" Misato asked as she knew Ritsuko was part of the inner circle for a time but had assumed she had shared everything.
"I suppose I should get started." Jun said putting her PDA down and getting down to discussion. "Your initial question is why Gendo had me locked up right?" Jun asked and thus began to smirk. "This story starts 28 years ago as far back as Second Impact." Jun said as she began sharing the story. "See the days leading up to that fateful day a group of powerful men had translated a good chunk of a set of Scrolls called the Dead Sea Scrolls." Jun said making sure she was not being listened in on. "The Scrolls detailed the existence of Adam in the Artic and Lilith in Japan which was where GEHIRN and later NERV would have their primary headquarters at." Jun said as Ritsuko seemed to be getting nervous now.
"This group of powerful men controlled the world from the shadows their reach growing stronger after Second Impact." Jun said as Misato paid close attention to Jun. "However, before SEELE could finish translating the Scrolls, I had managed to steal the final set and translated them myself." Jun said as Ritsuko was surprised by this.
"You did what?!" Ritsuko asked shocked at those words. To steal the scrolls from SEELE was a huge mistake.
"I succeeded of course and when I committed it to memory, I destroyed the copy but by the time SEELE caught up Kaiser and Wingle were already being constructed and the original text were destroyed beyond recovery." Jun explained which made Ritsuko even more shocked by this. "I basically became the living embodiment of that scroll and thus I had leverage SEELE could not kill me, so they had Gendo imprison and torture me to get the information, but I held my tongue." Jun said as Misato was surprised by this.
"You crossed SEELE." Ritsuko said shocked that Jun did the impossible and lived to tell the tale while retaining her sanity from it.
"You knew about them?" Misato asked and thus Ritsuko saw what she did.
"Well Command you see." Ritsuko began but was cut off by Jun.
"What your going to say SEELE no longer exists no they're very much alive and well though I suspect old age got to some of them if not assassinations." Jun said as she smirked at the two woman before her.
Before Ritsuko could counter Misato cut her off. "Ritsuko stop." Misato said as she promised to speak with Ritsuko about this later. "How are you so certain this SEELE is still active?" Misato asked and thus Jun smirked.
"Money talks, and considering how far reach their control was… I suspect even WILLE has SEELE Agents hidden away as sleepers at best." Jun said as this surprised and worried Misato assuming June was telling the truth.
"And what about the scrolls?" Misato asked wanting to hear more.
"Basically, an instruction manual on how to trigger an Impact on SEELE's terms they think it will turn them into gods by uniting mankind into a singular hivemind. No more Pain no more secrets and all that crap." Jun said showing she was not exactly a fan of this. "The final page however showed instructions on how to stop it." Jun said with a smirk which got Misato listening even more now.
"So, you're going to need us?" Misato offered more then asked as she knew WILLE had to do it.
"No." Jun responded bluntly to the woman. "You see I have no doubt in my mind that your organization has SEELE Agents running around ready to activate and stop any attempts to undermine SEELE's scenario." Jun said before smirking to Misato. "And besides, I've already constructed the counter measure its currently." Jun began before Misato's radio went off.
"Commander, we have an emergency!" The crew member cried out as he sounded panicked.
"What is it?" Misato asked as the WILLE member then spoke. "Did the Kaiser Pilots start something again?" Misato asked as she really needed to get those two psychos under control.
"No, its Shikinami!" The soldier called out surprising Misato. "She's on a rampage and heading towards." He began but was then cut off by gunfire followed by a cry of pain before it was followed by a punch.
"MISATO! RITSUKO!" Asuka was heard on the radio next and from the sound of her voice she was well beyond pissed off.
"Well, she certainly sounds angry." Jun mused with a smile on her face at this. "It seems Kyoko's girl has found the truth." Jun added causing Misato and Ritsuko's eyes to widen in pure shock.
"We'll talk more later." Misato said and thus got moving to intercept Asuka.
"I'll be waiting." Jun said with a savage grin on her face.
"All security personnel do not harm Asuka neutralize her but nonlethal force only." Misato ordered as she and Ritsuko left to try to stop Asuka.
(Meanwhile back over with Asuka)
Asuka Shikinami had just fought her way through several of WILLE's soldiers no doubt fueled by only her vengeful fury. As Asuka disarmed another WILLE security troop she was then met by a squad of them. It was clear how angry Asuka was as her eye patch was giving off a blue glow in response to her rage. As Asuka was about to keep fighting gun shots were heard followed by throwing knives being sent.
"Hey Eye patch need a hand?" Akira asked as he and Kuzo had just arrived.
"Stay out of my way you brats." Asuka snarked as she continued on her way. "I got a score to settle with a couple of lying manipulative bitches." Asuka added only for Kuzo to cut in.
"We got a good idea what's going on, we're backing you up." Kuzo said as Asuka was shocked by this.
"You won't be able to get to them on your own so your going to need us." Akira said and thus Asuka saw they had a point even with all her rage clouding her mind.
"Fine but don't get in my way." Asuka said and thus the three joined forces to search for Misato and Ritsuko so Asuka can finally get some questions answered.
(Back with Misato and Ritsuko)
The commander of WILLE and her second in command were making their way through the ship as they knew where Asuka would come looking for them. Misato knew that if Asuka had learned the truth nothing will stop the girl. Misato herself had only found out after Third Impact from Ritsuko when WILLE had formed and at the time Misato needed Asuka to focus on fighting NERV. But the revelations from Eve had caused her to reconsider this grave mistake.
"Misato, we need to consider putting Asuka down." Ritsuko suddenly said as they walked through the halls to find Asuka.
"She's one of our only EVA pilots and an ace we need her." Misato said arguing against this with Ritsuko.
"She's learned the truth and is out for revenge she's a lost cause at this point." Ritsuko said as she did not need another pilot who would refuse to follow orders. They already got that from the Skull mechs pilots.
"We should never had hidden this from her to begin with." Misato said shocking Ritsuko when she said this.
"Misato listen to yourself this is war we need soldiers gears and cogs there is no room for compassion!" Ritsuko yelled as they suddenly stopped in a larger room. "Your letting sentimental feelings get in the way!" Ritsuko snarled and thus Misato pulled out the trigger for the DSS Choker.
"No, I'm not going to turn into Gendo if we're going to beat him, we can't stoop down to his level!" Misato countered and just as she was about to toss the trigger Ritsuko acted.
"NO!" Ritsuko snarled and in turn tried to take the trigger from Misato. "If you wont do what needs to be done, then I will!" Ritsuko snarled as she tried to take the detonator from Misato.
"Ritsuko let go right now!" Misato ordered as the two struggled for the trigger as it was now commander vs her second in command.
"No, your compromised!" Ritsuko snarled as the two kept the struggle going. Just then the door opened and from it a gunshot went off. The bullets flew and hit Ritsuko in the shoulder as the choker flew and landed on the ground nearby. Ritsuko grabbed her shoulder wound and looking to the door she saw Asuka standing there with a smoking gun.
"Well looks like we got to the party in time." Akira said as he held his combat dagger ready while having a Katana with a skull attached to the pommel strapped to his back.
Acting fast Ritsuko leaped towards the DSS Trigger and held it at the ready. "Asuka stand down!" Ritsuko yelled as she glared at the redhead.
"You lied to me!" Asuka yelled as she glared at Ritsuko promising her and Misato righteous vengeance for their deception.
"I don't know what your talking about." Ritsuko lied and in turn Asuka fired again and nearly hit Ritsuko much to Misato's shock.
"Don't you fucking try I know that you were aware from the beginning!" Asuka yelled as she still had a few more rounds ready to go off.
"I'd tell the girl the truth blondie." Akira said while grinning sadistically at Ritsuko.
"Asuka wait." Misato said but then nearly got shot as well.
"Don't even try it you found out after Third Impact and kept the lie going." Asuka snarled as she then focused back on Ritsuko. "You, NERV and now WILLE you all fucking lied to me, manipulated me; all you bastards made me think I was a clone!" Asuka yelled with great rage in her heart. "I wasn't made I was born… I had parents and you stole all that from me and never bothered to return it!" Asuka yelled as she held the gun on Ritsuko all the while Misato did nothing to stop Asuka.
"We needed a pilot Asuka not an emotional child!" Ritsuko yelled as she glared at Asuka. "This is insubordination, and you know it!" Ritsuko added as Asuka then cocked the hammer.
"Tell it to someone who cares." Asuka said ready to blow Ritsuko's brains across the wall.
"Hey, we heard the commotion and wow!" Mari cried out when she arrived with Eve and saw the situation. "Princess what the hell!?" Mari asked only for Asuka to fire a round at Mari forcing Eve to push the girl out of the way.
"Stay out of this!" Asuka yelled and thus she glared at Ritsuko.
"Stand down or I will pull the trigger." Ritsuko said and thus Misato was worried while Asuka showed nothing.
"Do that… and I'll let it out." Asuka said reaching for her eye patch to show she will let the Angel out of its seal.
"Wow isn't that a bit overkill Princess." Mari said as she stayed behind cover. "I mean whatever they did, I'm sure." Mari spoke but Asuka would not listen to her.
"SHUT UP!" Asuka yelled and thus Ritsuko acted.
"No!" Misato cried out as Ritsuko pulled the trigger. Asuka saw this and was about to open fire when something different happened. The trigger flashed and instead blew up in Ritsuko's hand. She cried out in pain as the blast was enough to send her to the ground with a bloody hand. Asuka and Mari's chokers both began to go off and pulling their neckline of their plug suits down they saw the collars hit the floor. Then the DSS Chokers sparked erratically before Akira acted and kicked it aside. Mari threw hers out and in doing so the chokers exploded in the room. Thankfully only the nearby floor was damaged from the blast but clearly it was not meant for them.
"W-what?!" Ritsuko cried only for Eve to step up.
"That was my doing." Eve said as she entered the scene. "I've been hacking your mainframe even though I asked for trust and offered trust I follow the mindset to offer you one hand and arm the other." Eve said as she glared at Misato and Ritsuko. "Shinji knew about the Chokers and asked me to deal with them he doesn't think its fair the others have to be forced to live with a guillotine for his crimes." Eve said as she glared at Ritsuko.
"Of course, your five moves ahead." Asuka snarled before directing her attention to Ritsuko. "No bomb that means I can put you down." Asuka said as she was going to enjoy this.
"Asuka wait." Misato began but then Asuka glared at her.
"Why should I listen?!" Asuka yelled as she glared at Misato. "You used me I trusted you and you used me!" Asuka yelled as she glared at Misato who looked down in shame for her own actions. "You betrayed my trust just like you did to Shinji!" Asuka yelled as she was clearly not ok right now.
"I know I had to really look at myself in the mirror lately." Misato said trying to calm Asuka down. But even then, she had every right to be angry at them at all of them. "Your anger that rage is actually justified but the only ones guilty of this are myself, Ritsuko, and Gendo." Misato said hoping to calm the girl down.
"I know… but I can't get to Gendo can I." Asuka said making her way towards Misato. "You, that bottle blond haired bitch, Gendo, and all of NERV took stole my life." Asuka said as she got ready to shoot Misato. "This is where I take it back." She said holding the gun directly at Misato.
But instead of fighting it Misato just let out a defeated sigh and accepted it. 'Sorry Kaji… looks like I won't make it home after all.' Misato thought to herself as she knew what Asuka was going to do. 'Mama has to go and make something right for something she did wrong.' She mused and thus awaited the end by Asuka.
Just as Asuka pulled the trigger Akira moved in and forced the gun upward causing the bullet to hit the ceiling and ricochet harmlessly off of it. "What the fuck Skull Psycho!" Asuka snarled and then cried out as Akira then changed his hold to force Asuka to drop the gun. Asuka acted and slammed Akira into the wall forcing him to let go. But just as Asuka had the gun armed at Misato again Kuzo showed up and had his guns pointed at Asuka.
"Whose side are you assholes on!?" Asuka snarled as she glared at the two.
"Right now, reason and if we have to be the voice of reason then you really fucked up." Akira said as he looked to Asuka.
"This doesn't concern you she and her sidekick need to pay." Asuka countered but Akira laughed to this. "You think this is funny!?" Asuka snapped as she heard how Akira laughed.
"Yes, because your completely in the right here." Kuzo said as he looked to Asuka. "They stole your life, made you think you were something you were not, and then had the gall to act like they were the heroes of the world." Kuzo said before Eve cut in.
"They tried to take away your past to make a weapon out of you." Eve said as Asuka glared at Misato ready to end the woman. "However, if you kill them, you'll never be able to reach Gendo." Eve said as she looked to Asuka. "Right now, you need them once you can get to that man then you can have your revenge for all its worth." Eve said as Asuka glared at Misato for a moment longer with gritted teeth.
Asuka was not happy about this in fact she was absolutely livid, but Eve was right. She needed them because she needed WILLE to help her reach all the targets of her grief. "Let the broads go you'll get them after we take out the goat." Akira added and thus Asuka gave her son… her and Shinji's clone one last look before making her choice.
Though the choice Asuka made was a hard one as her temper was still flare her emotions erratic but now no longer contained by the DSS Choker. Her breathing increased as she tried to keep a lid on her rage but alas it was for not. Asuka then yelled out a yell of fury, grief, and betrayal while turning away from Misato and walking away. She then directed her attention back at Misato and Ritsuko who were still on the ground from this entire episode.
"For now… WILLE is still useful to me." Asuka said as she glared at Misato. "So that means for the moment your more use to me alive." Asuka went on speaking with a calm fury in her voice. "So, for your sake you better hope I die before this war ends… because if I'm don't, I'm coming for you." Asuka said before she slammed the gun into Akira's hand and stormed off to sulk.
As the guards came to apprehend Asuka Misato stood up and glared down at Ritsuko before speaking. "Stand down men… let her go." Misato said not wanting to see Asuka in a cell for this episode. "Ritsuko we're going to get those injuries checked and afterwards you and I are going to have a long talk." Misato said as soon medics came in to get Ritsuko treated for her injuries.
"Hey Princess." Mari began as she took Asuka's shoulder. But instead, Asuka yanked her shoulder away from Mari and stormed off not even bothering to speak to Mari. "Wow what happened." Mari began as Akira walked over.
"Nonya." Akira said as Mari looked confused to this.
"Nonya?" Mari asked and thus Akira smirked to this.
"None your business." Akira said and then looked to where Asuka ran off. Just then Akira went wide eyed when he suddenly felt someone in his personal space. Looking to the source Akira saw Mari was sniffing him causing him to get very annoyed with her.
"You smell strange not like LCL but…" Mari began only to narrowly avoid Akira chopping her in two.
"Two words lady personal space!" Akira snapped as he sheathed his katana once more. "If anyone needs me, I'm going to chase down Eyepatch." Akira said and then walked off to talk to Asuka and help her.
When Akira was gone Misato looked over to Eve who looked back but said nothing before walking off. A lot had happened in this short time that Misato needed time to think on some things.
(Later atop the Wundur's hull)
Asuka was by herself sitting atop the Wundur as the wind blew against her hair every so often billowing it. She was lost now… confused… and even scared not sure what to do with herself. Her entire life was just one big fat lie and the truth that should have been beautiful had been turned ugly. Hugging her knees to her chest Asuka wasn't sure what to do she was lost just like Shinji was.
Just then Akira walked out and saw Asuka there before glaring at the sad scene. "Well, this is all sorts of crap." Akira said as he held some bottled waters. Asuka looked and saw Akira was offering her one of the waters.
"Go away." Asuka responded and thus Akira scoffed at the girls demand of him.
"And where would the fun be in that?" Akira asked almost in a taunting tone, but it was different, and Asuka saw the difference. He then took a swing of his water and when he put it down, he sighed for a moment to look at the land outside. "Its strange you never really appreciate what the world looks like unless you see it from a different perspective." Akira began as Asuka heard what he was saying right now. Akira had put the water down next to Asuka and just stood there for a bit while the girl tried to drown out the world.
"Honestly how you treated yourself as just as crappy as how everyone around here treated you." Akira suddenly said getting Asuka's attention. "Don't get the wrong idea I'm saying is all." Akira said as Asuka then took the water and held in in her hands.
"Your not saying much so get on with it or leave." Asuka said and thus Akira growled and then got down to what was needed.
"Who gives a rats ass if you're a clone or not fuck that." Akira said as he got to what he wanted to say to Asuka. "Your still you, those memories are yours and no one else can take them not your original and certainly not the bitches who would come after you are gone." Akira said as Asuka heard him out for a bit.
"Heh easy for you to say." Asuka said but then Akira glared at her for this.
"Yeah, it is easy because your so focused on the one flaw about you, that you cant see your perfections." Akira said as he pointed an accusing finger at Asuka. "So, stop living the story of someone else and live your own goddamn story." Akira said and then drank from his water a bit.
Asuka thought about it for a moment as she saw Akira did have a point no matter how crude he was. "In a weird way I am living my own story not even realizing it that I became a side character in my own story." Asuka suddenly said and then smirked to her own words.
"Yeah, great now stop moping around." Akira said with a bit of a rude tone. "If your like this in the next battle then we're royally fucked." Akira said as Asuka smirked but then glared out to the distance.
Asuka was quiet for a moment before she eventually began to speak again. "I'm going to kill them." Asuka said as she glared out to the far distance. "They tricked me my whole life." Asuka said and thus Akira scoffed.
"No one is stopping you just telling you to wait till we take out the bigger asshole." Akira said and thus Asuka could agree to that because then she would not have to worry about anything once Gendo was gone. "But let me ask you something." Akira said as he changed the subject. "Once you get your revenge and your blood what you plan to do next?" Akira asked and thus this caused Asuka to pause for a moment. "Think about it." Akira said as he then began to walk away but then Asuka spoke her own.
"And what will you do once there aren't anymore opponents for you to fight?" Asuka asked and thus this caused Akira to pause as well. Akira stood there quietly before walking off back into the Wundur to find a quiet place to take a nap.
Asuka stood there for a moment longer before drinking from the water and walking off right after. She still had her enemies but now… she needed to figure out what to do with this new shocking revelation about herself.
(Meanwhile back over with Jun)
Jun was once more working in her lab as she was tinkering with whatever tech she had on hand. As she did this, she suddenly heard the door slide open before someone entered her lab. "Well, the Child of EVA Mari Illustrious Makinami." Jun began as she put her tools away and then looked to where Mari was standing.
"Hi there new doc." Mari said but the tone in her voice showed that she was nervous right now.
Jun smirked to this and thus sat down. "New doc… doubt it since Ritsuko was the new doc in our group." Jun said before looking directly at Mari. "Or should I call you… Maria Iscariot." Jun said and thus Mari was surprised by what Jun called her. "Don't try to play stupid Mari you were never good and pretending to be what you already are, idiot." Jun said as she looked at Mari who then locked the door behind her after entering.
"How did you know?" Mari asked her tone and demeanor changing as she took a seat across from Jun.
"You know I have a photographic memory." Jun said while she took out a flask from her persona and unscrewed it. "So of course, I knew if you had kids or not and out of our entire group only Yui was ever visibly pregnant to have a child that would be 14 around the same time Shinji was when his father called for him." Jun said as she had read the reports after all to catch up on what had been happening during her unlawful incarceration. "What I'm still annoyed about is the fact you were trying to get into your godsons pants instead of acting as his godmother." Jun said and thus Mari began blushing.
"It's not like that at all!" Mari nearly yelled as she looked to Jun.
"Could have fooled me you pedophile." Jun said taking a swing of her flask letting its contents go down her throat. "Yui would probably cut you open and tie you by your entrails… I know I would if you were doing that with my kid." Jun said making it clear that she and Mari were not on good terms. "So how did you do it? Make a deal with the devil, clone yourself a body and transferred your mind into it?" Jun asked as she tried to figure out how Mari reversed the aging process and gave herself the Curse of EVA.
"It's… complicated." Mari said trying to change the subject.
"I bet, but that pales in your intentions for the real goal right… the Neon Genesis." Jun said and thus Mari went silent to this. "I see hit my mark." Jun said and thus Mari then glared at Jun.
"So do you plan to rat me out?" Mari asked as she glared at her friend.
"Not at all Maria." Jun said and thus she grinned sadistically at Mari. "I don't have proof you see and besides… I want to see whose creations will succeed in the end, Yui and her Evangelions or me and my Kaiser." Jun said as Mari saw what this was about.
"28 years and your still hung up on that." Mari said as she glared at Jun.
"Not like I Yui's creation proved me wrong." Jun said as she gestured to the window where the Red Earth was no doubt far below.
"And Kaiser can fix it?" Mari asked as she wanted to get the answers.
"We'll just have to wait and see." Jun said showing she was holding her cards close to her chest here. "Now I suggest you leave, don't want to say something that might get you in WILLE's bad graces." Jun said and thus Mari unlocked the door and left knowing Jun had her there. No doubt the woman had ways to make Mari hurt without lifting a finger… it would seem that some things never change.
(Meanwhile in the Medical Ward)
Ritsuko was sitting on a bed as her arm was in a cast after treating the bullet wound. Meanwhile her opposing hand was wrapped in bandages from the triggers explosion that deactivated the DSS Chokers. On her lap was her computer as she was trying to find out what happened only to find a more disturbing image.
"Shit its all gone." Ritsuko cursed just as Misato entered the room.
"What's all gone?" Misato asked while entering the room.
"Oh commander." Ritsuko said with a neutral tone in her voice. "The DSS Choker data a tapeworm program had deleted them all." Ritsuko said as she then went to the next bit. "I already sent Maya and Sakura to check on where we keep the others and they've all short circuited and blew up." Ritsuko revealed as Misato listened in. "We were lucky that the container holding them took most of the blast but we're out of chokers now." Ritsuko said as she then rubbed her head from a headache only to hiss in pain from her hand still wrapped in bandages.
"That is what I need to talk to you about Ritsuko." Misato said as she closed Ritsuko's computer to speak with her directly.
"Misato what you did earlier was." Ritsuko began but Misato cut her off.
"No, I'm cutting off use of any and all DSS Chokers effective immediately." Misato said as Ritsuko then glared at the woman before her. "If I catch wind of you making any more of them you will be arrested for insubordination." Misato said and thus Ritsuko had enough of this.
"Misato listen to what your saying the chokers were in place to prevent any of the EVA's from awakening." Ritsuko said trying to get her friend to see reason. "We need to rebuild them soon or else." Ritsuko began but Misato cut her off.
"Or else nothing no more DSS Chokers I'll be pushing this argument with the UN at a later date." Misato said but Ritsuko then cut in once more.
"What about Asuka!?" Ritsuko snapped as she glared at Misato. "If she had that emotional outburst in the EVA the DSS Choker would have saved us all from Unit-02's own awakening!" Ritsuko yelled as Misato had no retort to that.
"We should not have let this lie go on for as long as it did!" Misato countered and in turn the two women glared at each other. "Ritsuko… face facts if we keep acting like this… we'll be no better then Gendo." Misato said and this Ritsuko had enough of those thoughts.
"WE ARE NOTHING LIKE HIM!" Ritsuko yelled as she glared at Misato.
"WE ARE USING THESE KIDS FOR OUR OWN GAIN JUST LIKE HE DID!" Misato yelled back as the two were now at odds.
"The difference is we will win." Ritsuko argued but Misato begged to differ.
"At what cost our souls?" Misato countered and thus Ritsuko growled.
"We do whatever it takes to achieve victory." Ritsuko said and thus Misato let out a frustrated growl.
"There is a line and we're dangerously close to crossing it." Misato said and thus she began to take her leave. "No more DSS chokers and if or when Shinji can be safely extracted, he will be moved directly to Village-3 no exceptions." Misato said and thus she left the room giving Ritsuko no room to argue this. Ritsuko snarled as she was at her limit everything was falling apart, and it all began with that blasted Skull Mech joining their ranks.
Unknown to Ritsuko and Misato Midori was listening in and heard everything. Standing behind the wall with her hair darkening her eyes Midori gritted her teeth as her eyes were shown to have this psychotic hatred.
"Damn them… they're trying to steal my revenge from me!" Midori snarled as she wanted to kill the Skull Mech and its pilots and once the danger had passed, she will do the deed herself.
(Scene Break The Slum King)
Sitting in his throne room the Slum King glared upon the new information given to him. Kiba and Death Star were both dead thanks to WILLE and their new skull mech. HE glared at it but felt a sense of desire when seeing the mech. He could not help but feel the violent desire well up inside him the desire to face the Skull Robot in battle. Whoever this man used to be before Third Impact was gone and in his place was a being who craved nothing but violence.
On either side of him were chains that lead to a pair of humans naked with pegs replacing their arms and legs. Once of them was a young girl 14 years of age judging by appearance with very common Japanese features. The other was a young man with blond hair with noticeable sideburns of a similar age as the girl. When she heard the voice of Akira on the recording of Kaiser in battle, she went wide eyed with a feeling she had nearly forgotten, hope.
Staying submissive but looking to the screen she saw Kaiser and her eyes widen with hope for who was piloting it. Seeing Kaiser kill the first two warlords with Wingle she knew who one of the pilots were and she felt a deep stated hope from the voice.
"Akira-kun." The girl said seeing that the person she wanted to see for all these years was coming here to finally kill the Slum King.
Meanwhile the young man with her just glared at the screen when he heard the voice. He knew Akira well and hearing his cohort say the name just confirmed who the person behind the skull was. If Akira is coming here than there was no telling the level of damages that would no doubt, be following him all the way. Still, he didn't care humanity had long since disappointed him for when society collapse the true form of the human race becomes the prominent force. Humanity was just a violent and savage species and after suffering this accursed life… well he would not be too upset if Fourth Impact were to happen right now finishing off the last of humanity.

ESKK: Well, another chapter has been completed. Honestly, this one was done sooner then even I had expected. Then again, it's only a filler so no need to get crazy about the fast update I suppose. Originally this was supposed to be the Slum King battle, but shit happens, and plans ended up changing. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the chapter and will leave a review before leaving, ja-ne.
