In the headquarters of the United Nations or what was left of it a group of men were meeting in a darkened room. They unlike the rest of the world were dressed wealthy as they sat with scotch in hand and cigars in the other. In front of them were files opened up revealing specific images most of which had cause for concern.
The first image was of WILLE more specifically the Wundur as it hovered in the air. What followed were the images of Misato, Ritsuko, Maya, Shigeru, and Makoto. The next images were of Asuka and Mari though while Asuka was glaring Mari was smiling almost smugly. These were all the officers of note from WILLE who all had affiliations with NERV before the organization revealed its true colors with the True Third Impact over 14 years ago.
The next files had different images the first being of Hachiryukaku that had by some miracle remained unaffected by Third Impact and had become a safe haven for humans to congregate towards. KREDIT had already moved in on Hachiryukaku and began to work with them on providing better resources to the survivors out there. Which was good seeing as UN Forces had to be stretched to help bring law and order to the domains of Kiba, Death Star, and the Slum King.
It was thanks to WILLE and their newest acquisition that those areas were secured for the UN to clean up. Reports still came in over how grateful those civilians there were to be liberated from a living Hell. Which brought the group of men several concerns over WILLE.
The final image was of the near Fourth Impact on WILLE's watch and in turn these men were not pleased by this. "I knew giving them authority on this was a mistake." One of the men said letting out a drag of his cigar with a growl of simmering rage.
"A near Fourth Impact this was the disaster WILLE was tasked with preventing." Another said with a glass of scotch in hand.
"You must admit that Katsuragi's record makes her ideal for this position." Another said but then the first spoke.
"Yes, and her entire command staff are conveniently those with former affiliations to NERV." The first spoke with a snarl in his voice. "We had trusted Ikari once to eliminate the Angels until his true colors were exposed." He went on before the second man spoke again.
"Let's not forget that she gave that boy the order to carry out the Near Third Impact." A fifth man added before a Fourth person a woman spoke up.
"She can't deny that she didn't know what was happening she was the survivor of ground zero of Second Impact and thus should have recognized the event traumatic or otherwise." She said her voice cold carrying an edge in it.
"I will admit that thanks to her actions we now have more of the world reclaimed from NERV dealing a decisive blow to NERV and their resources." The Third said but had to also consider the facts here. "But this disaster had nearly cost us everything we have left." HE said before the woman cut in.
"My sources have informed me that the Wundur WILLE's mobile fortress and flagship is cornered over the old Euro NERV Base." The woman said as she found that hard to believe. "If NERV has lost their resources then how are they churning up these new mechs?" She added finding it to be suspicious.
"Are you suggesting that our fears of WILLE may in fact be truth?" The first one asked with a cold look in his eyes.
"That these attacks are ploy of hers to take Ikari's place, that WILLE is in fact NERV reborn, or maybe this is a diversion so NERV can carry out its will." The woman said listing off several of their fears. "Regardless we can't act unless we have proof of this." She said before the first man spoke up bring forward the images of Kaiser.
"Let's not forget WILLE's new secret weapon, Kaiser." The man said before taking a drag of his cigar. "Kaiser has shown to be a powerful combatant against NERV and yet we know not where it came from beyond the fact it is operated by mercs." The man said showing he did not like it.
"An organization like WILLE hiring Mercenaries is hardly cause for concern." The second man said as such things are not uncommon. After all Mercenaries make use for excellent security guards when needed. "Where they came from on the other hand." He continued on showing what they know.
"I see." The woman said as she glared at the information being presented to them.
"We need to consider taking action soon." The first man said as they continued this meeting. "I've already had my sources censor the fact Kaiser is at Village-3 WILLE still has no idea where their chief weapon is located." He added but then the third male spoke up.
"I still possess the files and data that would have a warrant for Colonel Katsuragi and Dr. Akagi's immediate arrests for their involvement with the Near Third Impact." The Third man said with a stern tone. "I also have more to have the other three brought in for questioning." He said as with the evidence against Misato and Ritsuko both would be facing life sentences at best. A shame though about Katsuragi's son he will most likely be placed into foster care after his mother is arrested.
"Right now, we need WILLE but if we're to act against them we need undeniable proof that WILLE is just a rebranded NERV." The First said and thus this meant the need for a spy amongst the ranks of WILLE.
"I suggest we send HER in." The woman said adjusting her glasses a bit.
"Think she can handle this assignment?" The fourth male asked as the woman chuckled to this.
"She dealt with the Panther Claw group… she'll be fine." The woman said and thus the group nodded to this.
"Very well… send in, Honey." The first man said and thus the woman smiled happy to send their best in.
(Scene Break New York-3 USA)
City of New York the people there were quick to adapt to their situation after Third Impact. One of the first major cities to use the Pillars they are now a bustling metropolis as they were before and after Second Impact. If there was one thing New Yorkers were known as is that they were tough bastards. In one of the many high-rise buildings of the city sat a large mansion with a large pool out back. Out by the pool a young woman wearing only a bathrobe began to approach the diving board. Climbing the ladder, she stood at the top as she undid her robe in preparation to jump.
She then jumped allowing her robe and sash to go flying as she dived down to the water below. The young woman was completely naked as she went skinny dipping in the comfort of her own home.
A perfect dive the woman splashed as she swam through the water for a bit enjoying the coolness against her skin. Swimming for a bit she enjoyed her time before deciding it was time to climb out.
Once she climbed out of the water, she walked over to one of the folding chairs by the pool where her towel laid before sitting down. She began to dry herself off her perfect white skin dripping with water while her damp hair gave her a certain unique beauty with her perfect blue eyes. Not to mention her bust size was something that men desired, and woman envied her for.
Just then the phone nearby rang opting her to get up to answer it. "Hello?" She greeted and thus a voice spoke in for her.
"Honey Kisaragi?" A woman's voice spoke from the other end of the line.
"This is she." The girl now known as Honey spoke as she laid back on her chair.
"We have a job for you Honey you're the only one we can count on for this." The woman on the other side said as Honey heard. "It involved, WILLE." The woman said and thus Honey's mind went on alert. "We're not entirely sure but initial reports suggests that WILLE had narrowly avoided a Fourth Impact, we need you to go in and ensure that WILLE didn't intentionally trigger it." The woman said and thus Honey knew this had to be important for her higher ups to be worried about it.
"When do I leave?" Honey asked and thus the woman chuckled at this.
"It seems your still the same, Honey always willing to jump in." The woman chuckled as she said this. "We've chartered a military transport for all your gear." She said and thus Honey smiled to this.
"I'll leave as soon as possible." Honey said and thus she hung up the phone. Once she did, she smiled almost like she was looking at a camera and had one thing to say. "Alright time to change." Honey said as she left the area knowing she had a mission.
(Scene Break Akira Dreamscape Village-3)
Akira stood in what looked to be a cell as he was surrounded by the recently killed. As he stood there, he saw his four-year-old self hungry and scared sitting there. As Akira stood there, he knew what the boy was contemplating and knew how the boys mouth watered desperation reaching its zenith. As he stood there the boy looked ready to take the bite when all of a sudden, he saw a massive form tower over him from behind. Akira smirked to this as he knew who it was.
"Don't do it kid." The giant of a man said as he glared down on the now terrified Akira. The man then tossed something down to Akira which looked to be rations. The young Akira was so hungry he didn't even hesitate before he dove into the rations tears streaming down his face as he ate for the first time in what could be weeks. "If you die here, it will leave a bad taste in my mouth." The man said as Akira heard him.
Akira smirked to this as he knew what the man was doing. "I can teach you how to survive in this Hell to take that Hell and turn it into yours." He said and thus the young boy looked at the giant.
"W-who are you?" He asked and thus the man smirked a bit. Akira also began to smirk as he knew what the man was about to say.
"Jack… Violence Jack." The 14-year-old Akira and the man named Jack both said at the same time sharing a savage smirk. In turn Akira felt his mind drawn away and thus the waking world began calling.
(The Waking World EVA Trailer)
Akira woke up his eyes snapping open as he found himself back in the EVA pilots trailer with his shirt off and on the sofa. He and Kuzo had been staying at the trailer for well over a week now after what should have been a night's stay for him. Nearby Kuzo had taken the couch for his own sleep. The young man saw slept with a scowl which made Akira smirked at this. It would seem his past thoughts were correct; Kuzo's face is eternally stuck as a scowl.
Akira began to rise up from the sofa he laid claim too as he cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders to get the stiffness out of them. Akira then rubbed his face a bit before looking out the window and saw the sun was beginning to rise and seep its light through the window. Akira then laid back down and proceeded to look at the ceiling for a bit.
Akira laid there in silence for a bit unable to respond and unable to do much of anything right now. Partially because it was a choice but also because something inside was holding him back. The ceiling Shinji had spent most of the day prior cleaning up the place and now it looked fresh it looked clean. For Akira he was not used to a clean room only dirty messy places or clear skies above. He did not even sleep peacefully because he kept thinking expecting someone to show up to try to kill him. Laying there for a bit he spoke two words that Shinji Ikari had often said when in the hospital during the Angel Wars.
"Unfamiliar Ceiling." Akira said his voice neutral carrying no feelings in them.
(Later over in Asuka's room)
Asuka woke up and found the spot next to her empty this morning. Asuka had all but told Shinji to sleep in here after the first night and laying in there she glanced up to the ceiling above her. Laying there she began to rub her face to remove the sleep from her good eye before lowing, her hands again. A smell hit her nose as Asuka then rose up noting how familiar it was.
Grabbing a pair of panties Asuka stepped into them before she put on a hoodie and zipped it on. The EVA Pilots then proceeded to make her way over to where the smell originated from.
Walking into the kitchen Asuka found the trailer was empty with only herself walking about. She saw that some bento's were set up and taking one she recognized that Shinji had made these bento boxes. One had her name on it and in turn she smiled almost bitterly at it. "That idiot." Asuka said as she had a good idea where Shinji ran off too.
Just then she heard movement and reaching for side arm she spang into action before pointing her side arm at the source of the noise. What Asuka was expecting was an intruder but what she got instead was Rei-Q standing there. "Oh, it's just you." Asuka said lowering the gun but was ready to use it should the need arrive. "What are you still doing here?" Asuka asked with a raised brow as she expected her to have left earlier.
"I wanted to see, Ikari-kun." Rei-Q responded as Asuka sighed and moved towards the bento's.
"Well, he already left he's probably in town somewhere." Asuka said as she took a bento planning to eat and go looking for him.
"I see." Rei-Q said as she looked a bit saddened here.
"Well, if you want to eat, dig in now I plan to go looking for him once I've had my food." Asuka said as she opened the bento with her name on it and then took a pair of chopsticks. She had of course passed the second Bento to Rei-Q when she found the girls name on it. While Shinji may have animosity with Rei-Q like Eve did at least it didn't stop him from making sure she was fed.
"Thanks for the meal." Asuka said clapping her hands together before she began to dig in. Rei-Q did the same and thus their meal began. The meal was quick to start but already the silence grew and to an awkward sort as the 28-year-old EVA pilot sat across from Rei-Q.
"So…" Asuka began as she felt the silence had gone on for too long now. "Why do you want to see Shinji?" Asuka asked as she looked over to Rei-Q.
"I am… unsure." Rei-Q admitted as she wasn't sure why. "He does not actively wish to see me or interact with me… called me an imposter at NERV." Rei-Q said with a sad look now.
'That's right… she's an actual clone unlike me.' Asuka thought to herself knowing the story of the Ayanami Clone types. Asuka had clones but she was not one of them she was the original Asuka despite NERV and later Misato and Ritsuko's attempts to subvert. She is starting to come to terms with this fact not having any clear memories of her birth parents Asuka felt a hole inside that could never be filled up. It was all because NERV, Misato, and Ritsuko had lied to her about her origins. But looking at Rei-Q Asuka could not help but think of her clones were they her sisters or her daughters? Should she grieve for them… can she grieve for them? Quiet, frankly it bothered Asuka because if they were active then they would have been who she was before she learning the truth about herself.
"I suppose… I am worried for him." Rei-Q admitted as she got Asuka's attention now.
"Worried?" Asuka asked as while she was worried for Shinji also, she had no idea why Rei-Q was worried for him.
"The Near Fourth Impact his father forced him into triggering it." Rei-Q said as she looked at her bento. "Ensured that it would be carried out despite Ikari-kun desiring to avoid the Fourth Impact." Rei-Q said explaining the situation of Shinji's plight from her observations of Shinji's mental state. The boy seemed to find anything he can hyper fixate on to distract himself from the turmoil he was enduring.
"I know what you mean." Asuka admitted as she was also worried for Shinji's wellbeing. They had taken a major loss against NERV during the Near Fourth Impact that resulted in a bittersweet victory for them. They stopped the Near Fourth Impact but with no way of reaching the Wundur they didn't know if it and WILLE had survived it. All they could do at this point was sit and twiddle their thumbs hoping for some sort of sign that WILLE was still active and were still fighting against NERV. "He's been through a lot… we all have." Asuka said as she looked at her emptying bento with sadness. So much had been lost and thing will keep being lost if they don't defeat NERV.
"He rejects me… so why must I still worry for him?" Rei-Q asked as she looked to her hand wondering why she is reaching out to Shinji when he constantly rejects her existence to him.
"Look its complicated and it's not my place to tell." Asuka said as she pointed her chopsticks at Rei-Q even though she got a good understanding of Shinji rejecting Rei-Q. "All I can say is that someone whom he cares about is lost." Asuka said keeping the reasons a secret.
"I see." Rei-Q said looking down at her own bento filled with Tofu for herself.
"Hey, no sad faces, he'll come around… or else." Asuka said but then Rei-Q brought another concern for this.
"What of Eve?" Rei-Q asked as she had seen Eve many times while in the village and on the way to this place. Something was off about this Eve, there was something that the Rei Ayanami clone found familiar to her.
"That… is another ballpark entirely." Asuka said knowing that Eve would most likely slit Rei-Q's throat when given the chance. "Look tell you what let's go visit that idiot." Asuka said as she stood up. "I'm sure that he's bound to be somewhere in the village." Asuka added ready to give Shinji a piece of her mind for vanishing on her before she had awoken.
(Meanwhile at the Aida Residence)
A young man began to approach Kensuke's house glancing over at the Trailer next to it and the two Pilders. It was no secret that Kensuke's home had a new resident at this point after Asuka moved into the trailer after her sudden age up. Everyone was oddly welcoming to that for some reason at least those who knew her. He was currently approaching the door to Kensuke's house as he had something to deliver over to his place.
This was Kaji Katsuragi or Junior as some of the people had called him. Kaji was the son of Misato Katsuragi and Kaji Ryogi born a few months after the True Third Impact. Thankfully for Misato he was not viable as an EVA pilot, and she would rather that it would say that way.
Kaiser and Wingle had been spotted outside the village close to the mountain to avoid both giant robots from being detected. From what he understood they were the reason that he had received a phone call from his mother. She had been absent from his life and if Kaji didn't have a photo of her he'd have possibly forgotten her face already.
Receiving that call was one of the best days of Kaji's life if he was being honest. While he understood why she had to be away for so long her absence still hurt him deeply. Apparently one of the pilots had knocked some sense into her for that and she had called him. During that phone call Kaji swore she was on the verge of tears, and he didn't even know why that was it.
She had called him again several times already with the recent phone call being just before the Near Fourth Impact. She had not called since, but Kaji suspected she'd get around to it her regular phone calls have become a constant in his life lately. But as Kaji approached the door he knocked on it and waited for a response.
Just then the door opened and what she expected to be Kensuke was instead a girl his age that he swore up and down stole his breath. She was dressed in panties and a towel around her shoulders that covered her breasts. Kaji was left wide eyed as the way she looked made his heart race that he didn't even note her lack of dress.
Eve had just finished drying her hair as she took note of Kaji standing there. "Can I help you?" Eve asked as she gave Kaji a raised brow wondering why he was staring at her like she had never seen a girl before until now.
Kaji seemed to pull himself together before focusing on why he had initially come over. "Oh, uh yeah, I have this delivery for Aida-san is he home?" Kaji asked as Eve raised a brow here.
"I'll go get him." Eve said as she walked back into the house to find Kensuke and send him over. Eve had finished a shower prior and had been on her way back to her room when she heard a knock on the door. Being the closest at the time Eve had opted to answer it for her host.
Meanwhile Kaji just stood there like a deer in headlights as his eyes trailed down Eve's body taking in every movement. The small sway of her ass, the perfection of her skin, the flow of her brown locks, and even than slenderness of her arms and legs. Kaji had zeroed in on her and wanted to have her in his arms the moment he laid eyes on her. Thankfully, he had enough self-control and respect not to do such a thing.
Just then Kensuke made his appearance not long after Eve had left and thus, he greeted Kaji. "Oh, hey Junior." Kensuke greeted Kaji with a smile on his face.
"Oh, hello Aida-san I have this delivery for you." Kaji said as he offered the item for Kensuke to take.
"Oh, thank you." Kensuke said as Kaji nodded absently while looking passed where Kensuke was to where he saw Eve vanish.
"Yeah…" Kaji said trying to catch a look at Eve hoping she would pass by.
Noticing this Kensuke smiled as he saw that Kaji had a crush on his ward. "Her name is Eve." Kensuke said getting down to it which got Kaji's attention.
"Wait what?" Kaji asked when he heard what Kensuke had said.
"My housemate her name is Eve." Kensuke explained to the shocked Kaji as he looked back into the house where he saw Eve had vanished.
"Eve…" Kaji said repeating the name as already his mind was picturing her as being Eve Katsuragi in the future.
"I can introduce you if you'd like." Kensuke offered causing Kaji's face to go beet red at the thought.
"Nope, I'm good I need to go now." Kaji said finishing up with his reason for coming over before running off. Though Kaji did trip up a bit he left the area as Kensuke chuckled at the boys sudden actions noting that he had it bad.
(Meanwhile over in Eve's room)
Eve was typing away on her computer as she glared at the screen. Compiling data and checking over any alerts. So far, no ground units have been detected but she could not be too sure about this. But she then took note of another thing. The Long-ranged scanners had picked up something approaching their location, it was too small to be a NERV unit or the Wundur as well as being too slow. Judging by the size of it she would suspect it to be a KREDIT transport, but it was too big for that.
Contemplating it Eve was about to zero in but before she could the signal vanished from her radar making her raise a brow. This was cause for concern as signals not vanish unless jamming or cloaking tech was in use. She could not leave for the day just in case this signal was a problem. Logging her findings, Eve moved on to trying to locate the signal again and figure out what it was and where it had come from.
(Scene Break the Village Kitchen)
Village-3 had a public kitchen in place for the workers who help keep the place running from builders all the way to the farmers. It was a lot of work to survive in a post impact world like this everyone had to play a part. At the moment Shinji was in the kitchen chopping away at produce as he prepared to have the meal served. Pots were boiling, fryers were sizzling, and stoves were burning as Shinji cooked up food.
Shinji had started working here to help for one reason… he needed to feel useful. This was an ideal distraction as he did something he was actually good at doing. So many lives lost because of him… so many people died because he couldn't let go, and now so many people hurt or worse because he let his father trick him after Rei-Q abducted him. He left early this morning to join the people here because he needed something to occupy his time with.
Sleep was difficult to come by these days. Asuka helped but Shinji knew she was also suffering from lack of sleep. Standing there in front of the stove his mind focused on the task at hand as he prepped the food so people can enjoy a large meal through the day. This was all he could do these days and Shinji would make full use of it if only to distract himself from his own issues.
But just then Shinji's musings were cut short by a familiar voice. "Thought I'd find you here." Asuka was heard and in turn Shinji looked and saw Asuka standing there with Rei-Q.
"Asuka." Shinji greeted as he saw Asuka and Rei-Q approaching the food canteen.
"Hey Shinji." Asuka greeted as she saw Shinji here.
"How did you find me here anyway?" Shinji asked and thus Asuka just smirked to him.
"Easy we just listened to people talk about your cooking and here we are." Asuka said and thus Shinji saw that he should have figured at much from Asuka. "But since you're here what's on the menu?" Asuka asked with a smirk on her face.
"Depends on what's out." Shinji responded with a smile on his face though small as it was. "Though nothing German I'm afraid." Shinji added as Asuka smirked to this.
"Anything is better than field rations." Asuka said as this got Shinji's attention.
"Hasn't Misato been cooking?" Shinji asked only for Asuka to scoff at this.
"Misato hasn't cooked for anyone but herself in over 14 years." Asuka growled as clearly Shinji had brought up unpleasant emotions about Misato.
"Sorry I didn't mean to." Shinji began but Asuka cut him off.
"No, its fine she's the one to blame not you." Asuka growled as she had every intention to make sure Misato would die once NERV and Gendo were dealt with.
Shinji felt he should say more… but not with Rei-Q standing there. He promised to keep quiet about it too if for no other reason than for Eve's mental wellbeing. Ironic Shinji was hiding secrets also but in a world like this secrets were needed.
"Well, I can make you something quick." Shinji said and thus Asuka smiled to this.
"Please do." She said and thus Shinji went in to grab some food. During this Asuka took a look around and saw how peaceful it was so much so you'd forget it was hell outside. The previous times that she was here Asuka never took time to acknowledge the world around her never actually took notice the people here living.
"Is evert Shikinami-san?" Rei-Q asked curious as to why Asuka was staring out into the village and its people.
"Yeah… it's just… I never really noticed how adjusted everyone here is." Asuka admitted as she looked upon all the people, children running around, adults talking about crops and work. It was almost like Third Impact had never happened at all nor did the near Fourth Impact a few weeks back. "I supposed it makes me a bit envious of these people." Asuka admitted as she watched how everyone went about their days without a care or concern for the world.
"Peace despite all the destruction these people have found peace." Rei-Q suddenly said which got Asuka's attention a bit there.
"I guess… I wonder if I'll find my peace too?" Asuka wondered as unaware of her Shinji heard it all while he was cooking Asuka and Rei-Q food to eat. Needless to say, all Shinji could do was given a small yet sad smile as he honestly hoped Asuka would find the peace she sought.
(Scene Break over with Akira)
Akira was out in the forest with his katana drawn as he was practicing out in isolation where he preferred. Moving around the clearing he hacked and slashed with trained focus as his blade glistened in the rays of sunlight. In his ears were a pair of ear buds that were currently blasting ear shattering metal that were currently blocking out the world around him. More than that Akira was training as if he was still in battle as in his eye's he saw his enemies surrounding him. Moving through Akira continued his exercise swinging his sword through his foes even if they were illusions.
Moving around Akira kept going timing his movement to the current track he was listening to as he kept it up. His body glistened with sweat as he gritted his teeth. Akira was not one to surrender of even give up nor was he one to stay idle and weak. So, this training was needed so Akira could keep his body and mind at peak condition for the next fight. Eventually the track came to an end as Akira proceeded to sheath his Katana and began to cool himself down.
Heading to a nearby log Akira sat down and took the bottled water he left there before drinking from it to rehydrate his body. Kuzo was busy with something else, and Eve had yet to leave her room leaving Akira with nothing to do now. Training was all he had left and now he was left with boredom. But with his training done it was about time to clean up and head back to rest.
But then Akira heard a noise subtle but quiet, but he heard something. Drawing his sword Akira was on the defense glaring around for the source. The village may be peaceful, but he didn't trust it not in the slightest and now he was about to be proven right he was sure of this fact. Akira glared around looking for a target as he spun his body around his grip on his sword firm as he awaited his target to make its appearance and attack.
But instead of an attack a new voice cut in grabbing his attention. "Look out! Look out! Look out!" Came the voice and thus looking Akira was wide eyed as he turned and was met face to panties by a young woman parachuting in. Akira was caught off guard by this so when he was hit his word went flying and stabbed into the ground nearby. The two rolled on the ground a bit until Akira landed on his back and the girl landed on top of him with the parachute covering the both of them.
But the end of it Akira found his face being smothered by a pair of breasts. Despite the situation Akira was still a hot-blooded male and could enjoy this little piece of heaven. Still the situation demanded his attention starting with getting this mysterious girl off of his face and getting some answers from her.
"Ow." The girl said as she began to get up rubbing her throbbing head. As she got up, she noticed something was between her legs as Akira just laid there shocked by the fact. Akira had expected a lot of things but a girl parachuting in like this was not one of those things. A sniper yes, an assassin of course, but never a girl parachuting from the sky. But then the girl began feeling around her body and gasped in shock when she noticed that something was missing. Before Akira to speak to her she began to get off of him and started looking for the missing belonging.
Akira got off his back and reached for his combat knife as he saw the girl looking for something. "Jeez where it is?" She asked looking for the unknown object. "Sorry about this are you ok?" She asked while on all fours in her search giving Akira ample view of her ass despite the white, short skirt that she was currently wearing.
Just then a ringing was heard nearby and looking towards it she smiled. "There it is!" She called and thus running over the girl grabbed a phone from where it had fallen when she crashed. "This is Honey." She said once she answered the phone.
"Honey?" Akira asked when he heard the name as he found it sounded like a strippers name or something similar.
"Yeah, sorry the wind picked up and took my off target." She admitted as she spoke into her cell phone. "But I'm in the target area just not the target landing zone." Honey added as she began gathering up[ her parachute. "I know, I know but as long as I get inside, I'm good." She responded to someone scolding her on the other end. "If you have a problem with it take it up with the people who dropped me off in the first place." She retorted with the parachute gathered up so she can dispose of it properly. She can't leave evidence of her arrival on the scene or risk blowing her cover completely.
"Look just make sure your there when I need an extraction and make sure the CH-01 Unit is ready just in case." Honey said before she got to the end of the call. "Alright bye-bye." She said before hanging up and glancing over to Akira who was on the defensive. Just because he didn't have his sword did not mean he was defenseless against Honey. Just then Honey walked over to Akira who in turn growled despite not showing any threat to him. She then charged in and much to Akira's shock she got close enough to grab his knife hand and forced the weapon out of it. She then tripped him up and proceeded to pin down the boy.
Honey then began to lean towards something nearby as Akira looked at her with a glare ready to fight back. Akira had dealt with Mari enough times to not like people sniffing him like freaks. But Honey surprised Akira when all she did was reach over and grabbed a hairpin that had fallen off her. "Sorry about that you seemed edgy." Honey said as she proceeded to put the hairpin back in its proper place.
"Who the fuck are you?!" Akira snapped as he glared at Honey ready to fight.
"I'm Honey Kisaragi nice to meet you." Honey greeted with a wave and a smile.
"Honey?" Akira asked as he still found the name odd.
"Look, I'd love to stay and chat but… I have somewhere to be." Honey said as Akira was about to stop her, but Honey had something in her hand here. She tossed it to Akira's feet before it went off causing Akira's sense to be disoriented just after he jumped out of the way. As Akira's felt the ringing in his ears and the blindness in his eyes it eventually began to subside. But when it did, the girl was gone leaving behind her burning parachute that she lit a match mixed in with gasoline. Akira was too late to prevent the parachute from being reduced to burnt rubber and ashes.
"Shit." Akira cursed seeing that there was someone in the village and he wasn't sure if she was friendly or a threat from NERV.
(Scene Break over at NERV)
In the bowels of NERV Gendo glared at the developing giant before him. The remains of Unit-13 have been imbued with a new skeletal frame thanks to remains from the Iron Kaiser project. Its body mass however needed an increase so it can handle the new upgrades being installed into it. Still there was a lot of work to be done and their constant attacks on WILLE was giving them much needed advances to work.
Right now, the cockpit was being given a new position on this new form. It was Ryo's suggestion they are making a powerful EVA Kaiser hybrid, so they needed to take everything into consideration. During the work Ryo had been giving Gendo strategies to employ against both WILLE and Kaiser and seeing as both were separated from each other they could not fight as well as they could when together. More so Kaiser was trapped in a civilian populated area giving the skull robot a handicap while its foes fought unrestricted by a humans morals.
Its weapons however were something of note even by Gendo. Retractable Wings capable of summoning winds similar to Rust Stream and Iron Hurricane. Rocket Punches similar to Tornado Crusher and the Smasher Punch. Now while those attacks were similar to Kaiser and Iron Kaiser there were differences between this one and the two other units.
The Shoulder Blasters from Iron Kaiser had been greatly modified for this ones use. They now had the same force of power as the Thor Hammer Break that Kaiser had utilized against the Iron Kaiser. This weapon used the Positron Rifle as a basis and so far between each tests it had area of use. Following this line of thought this new Kaiser also had its own variant of the Inferno Blaster in development while they continued working on the body. This one needed to be ready for all oppositions and moves that Kaiser and its pilots would likely use.
Though when it comes to personal Weapons that had been something of a difficulty here. Ryo had suggested they use a mech shift weapon for this for the sole purpose of keeping Kaiser at bay. With the use of two pilots Kaiser can switch between melee and ranged combat on a dime so their new robot needed to counter that. In melee mode Kaiser can be disarmed but that did not mean the skull robot and its pilots could not use fisticuffs against their enemies.
So far taking the mech shift idea into consideration Gendo figured a gunblade of sorts may be acceptable in this. While it might be difficult to pull off Gendo was certain they can do it, and if not, there were other methods to be used.
Just then Fuyutsuki hobbled in as he looked to Gendo for a moment. "So, it's almost done?" Fuyutsuki asked as he looked to the mech being built around the former Unit-13.
"Yes… recycling has proven to be beneficial to our cause." Gendo said as he glared at the large machine.
"Tell me do you trust that boy, Ryo?" Fuyutsuki asked with concern for the outcome.
"No… but he has proven useful so for now I keep him monitored." Gendo said gesturing to a screen that showed images of Ryo being livestreamed through to monitor him. "If he attempts anything then he will be neutralized." Gendo said and thus Fuyutsuki nodded.
"I fear that we might be underestimating him just as we did with Kaiser." Fuyutsuki said as he knew Kaiser was a powerful enemy that they had underestimated. Gendo had suffered defeat because he disregarded Kaiser as being a nuisance. Not this time not anymore, he will NOT afford any more mistakes or missteps going forward.
"I assure you, Fuyutsuki." Gendo said glaring at the image of Ryo. "I will NOT make the same mistake again." Gendo said as he had every intention of attaining victory. "Another Chimera has been deployed it should arrive at the Village soon enough and from there we will acquire more combat data for the next Chimera." Gendo said with a cold glare at the construction of their final weapon.
"Let us hope so for both of our sakes." Fuyutsuki said as he knew something was very wrong with that boy. He could not shake it, but Ryo was something disturbed and it honestly frightened Fuyutsuki. Whatever it was Fuyutsuki hoped that he can be stopped.
(Meanwhile with WILLE the Wundur)
In the lab close to the hanger where Wingle, Kaiser, and the Iron Maidens were stored Jun stood there observing a few images she had on screen. On a large holding platform was the remains of yet another Hybrid machine of EVA and Mazinger. Needless to say, as she looked at the image it was clear she was working on something completely new right now.
Just then the door opened, and Miki walked in still in her plug suit. "Ah Miki what can I do for you?" Jun asked as she walked around the blueprints on which she was working.
"Sorry for bothering you Doctor Fudo but… I had a few questions." Miki said as Jun nodded to this but never took her eyes off of her schematics.
"Alright have a seat and ask away." Jun said gesturing to a nearby chair while she then zoomed in on another part of the schematics. Seeing the chair Miki walked over to it and proceeded to take a seat. "So, tell me what troubles you?" Jun asked once Miki was comfortable on her seat.
"It's Akira." Miki said making the concerns she held for him clear to Jun. "I know you said Kaiser would not let him or Kuzo die but… I can't help but feel worried." Miki admitted as she sat there with a sad tone showing her fears of Akira's fate.
"And your natural for feeling that." Jun said as she then continued to speak. "But trust me Kaiser was designed to take punishment and give it back a thousand folds." Jun said making it clear Kaiser was for her power. "At worst, your boyfriend will walk it off with a bleeding head wound." Jun said as she continued her work.
"Boyfriend?" Miki asked as her face began to turn red. "I mean Akira and I aren't we haven't seen each other for a long time and…" Miki gushed as she tried to drown out the mental images of herself and Akira in less PG situation. Miki panicked trying to find something to change the subject before noticing some papers on the table. "Pardon me Ms. Fudo but what are these?" Miki asked taking out said papers showing a chemical compound.
"For lack of better terms, a cure for the Curse of EVA." Jun said as she gestured to vials that had Mari, Miki, and Asuka's names on them. "It's a side project I've been working on see piloting EVA requires the pilot to be submerged in LCL that once begins providing oxygen directly to your lungs will also cause the Curse of EVA that halts all aging." Jun said as she then zoomed out and zoomed into another part of the blueprints she was viewing. "That anti-serum would be used between battles to purge the body of LCL to prevent them from saturating your cells." Jun went on not once turning away from her work.
"So, it sounds like a post battle booster shot, wouldn't we need to take this BEFORE piloting an EVA?" Miki asked as she found this concerning.
"Sure, if you feel like drowning." Jun said as it would defeat the purpose. Miki understood that and saw what Jun was doing with this.
"I never thought you'd try to help the pilots like that." Miki said finding this oddly helpful from Jun.
"I just see it as a way to screw over the EVA project." Jun said and thus Miki sighed to this with a small chuckle.
"Of course." Miki said seeing that she should have seen that coming from the woman. But then Miki walked over to where Jun was working and saw the blueprints on which she was working. "Uh if you don't mind me asking… what is this?" Miki asked noticing images of Kaiser and Wingle Jun's screen but different.
"A mass overhaul of upgrades for both Kaiser and Wingle." Jun said as she looked upon the upgrades for her two crowning achievements on robotics. "I have a feeling that we're approaching the endgame so with that in mind… I plan to hit NERV and Gendo with everything we got." Jun said before showing the images, new armor, upgrades weapons, and even entirely new systems.
"Incredible." Miki said shocked and amazed over the woman's work. "Does it have a name?" Miki asked with curiosity to see what would result from this new set of upgrades.
"Not yet but I'm thinking on it." Jun said but Miki had more questions to ask about this one.
"Where did you even get the parts?" Miki asked and thus Jun smirked over to Miki taking her eyes off her work for the first time since this conversation had begun.
"NERV delivered it with their hybrid units… the leave behind a lot of spare parts to work with." Jun said as she then returned to focusing on her current project. "Plus, if I handle it delicately, I might be able to provide us with automatic drones to assist in battle." Jun added as they needed all the help they can get in the coming fight. "Jeez what was the UN thinking making us only allowed to have three operational EVA units at any given time knowing our enemies won't hold to that method of combat." Jun said giving off an annoyed sigh at that rule.
"So, if this succeeds then Kaiser will be the most powerful machine on the planet." Miki said but Jun laughed at the girls assumption.
"Of course, and with all that power my superiority over Gendo and Yui will finally be acknowledged as an absolute fact." Jun boasted showing that her own pride was on display. She knew that her Kaiser would dominate Project E and the battle she knew would come would be absolute fact that Kaiser was the strongest. "Once we've located Kaiser and Wingle then I'll get straight to work." Jun said as she began to savagely grin as Miki knew the mad scientist would not be stopped.
(Meanwhile over in Ritsuko's lab)
Ritsuko sat in her work bench isolated in her lab after yet another attack from NERV. Misato was devising a plan to escape and get to Village-3 so they can resupply the Wundur. If they continue to stay here their supplies will run out. They cannot afford to remain in Paris for much longer, so she was trying to get the engines working again and finish repairs on the fly. That would have to suffice for the time being, but regardless Ritsuko was working on another project at the moment.
After Eve's tapeworm program had dismantled their DSS Chokers and their method to making more Ritsuko had to start again. Hence why there were several chokers currently on her workbench. Doing this in secret when Misato had all but outlawed them in the Wundur was tough. Eve had basically become Misato's eyes and ears through the Wundur during her time on the vessel with WILLE. But with Eve currently MIA Ritsuko had the chance and the time to make these chokers.
It brought her no satisfaction doing this, but it needed to be done for the future of their planet. She had every intention of dismantling them once NERV and Gendo are dealt with. But until then they can't risk any of the EVA pilots triggering their EVA's into awakening and beginning a Forth Impact. But if that were true…, why is she also making ones for the SKL Pilots.
Eve while Rei's alleged daughter doesn't even pilot an EVA and does not seem intent on piloting an EVA unit. For all intents and purposes Eve doesn't need a choker nor do Akira or Kuzo. With Kaiser neither of them even need an EVA to aid them but if that were the case why was Ritsuko rebuilding these things? No, she knows why for the safety of the human race they needed to do everything in their power to prevent an Impact at all costs. Misato will understand she'll hate Ritsuko for this, but she will understand Ritsuko's pure intentions.
But the pathway to hell is paved in good intentions.
It was a saying Ritsuko had heard before, but it was the words of a naïve idealist who doesn't see the greys of the world. Ritsuko had to block those words out as she kept up her work so with tools in hand Ritsuko continued. Sparks flew from the hot wires as she continued to work on repairing the chokers, they needed these as soon as possible. If they don't have these then when the time comes their lack of preparations will doom their world.
(Scene Break Back at Village-3)
Back at the Village day was turning into night as the group were currently meeting up at the Suzuhara's for dinner. Nothing fancy just a small get together between some old friends. Of course, it was all peaceful with Asuka glancing at the door leading outside. At the moment Akira and Kuzo were eating their food outside while everyone else even Eve were inside eating. Small talk was going on around them, but Asuka could not help but glance at the door with clear concern.
"Asuka." Hikari spoke as she looked to her old friend. "You're worried for him, aren't you?" Hikari asked knowing Asuka was changing in several ways.
"I, no, of course not." Asuka defended with a huff of her voice to this.
"That's not what you said to him when scolding him." Hikari teased as she smiled a bit knowing motherhood had started to set its hands down upon Asuka. Asuka scowled being reminded of that battle when he constantly disobeyed an order until she pulled from that rage moment of hers. "You might not want to hear this but… you're doing fine I know it's a slow process but he's coming around." Hikari said assuring Asuka she is on the right track.
"What makes you say that?" Asuka asked almost accusingly to her old friend.
In response to this Hikari only smiled as she had Asuka on this one. "He'd normally not come at all." Hikari said as she looked to Asuka with a knowing smile.
For a moment Asuka looked ready to respond but saw Hikari had a point. They've had several invitations in the past and this is the first time Akira had accepted an invitation to have dinner. With no way to retort Asuka sighed admitting Hikari was not wrong about Akira's actions.
"Ok good point." Asuka finally said swallowing her pride to say that to her friend.
"You know… he's not as bad as people seem to think." Hikari said as she sat at the table passing a bowl over to Asuka. "I've noticed a lot of the gossipers are talking negatively about him, a delinquent, a hoodlum, and even a dangerous criminal." Hikari said as Asuka began to glare at Hikari. "But… he has a heart under all of that violence." Hikari said as she had seen it completely by chance.
"How do you know?" Asuka asked wondering how she missed it.
"Because he saved a life." Hikari said as she began to recount that incident.
(Flashback)
Hikari was walking through the station when she had heard panic going on. A train was busted and about to crash. To her shock a random child was in the track as he had run, over to grab his ball. As people moved to stop the train a blur shot out from the crowd and grabbed the child. Looking to the blur she saw that it was Akira who rolled on the ground clutching the child close against his body to shield him.
Once Akira landed, he let the child go as he was in tear. Akira glared but said and did nothing before he walked off not even staying for a thank you. All the while Hikari saw the entire exchange and was left shocked by the selfless actions of Akira.
(End Flashback)
Asuka was shocked that Akira HER Akira would do that. But then she smirked with pride seeing that the boy who shares her DNA was selfless enough to save others. "I'm sure of it… if given the chance he would surprise a lot of people." Hikari said positive that there was more to Akira then meets the eye.
"Yeah… he would." Asuka said as she wanted to have faith in Akira so she would have faith in him. She would have faith that her son was more then what the people in the village had said about him until now. Seeing this Shinji saw that Asuka wanted Akira and Kuzo to join in and thus grabbed a spare bowl and began to prepare another plate for Akira and for Kuzo.
But as Shinji was preparing the plate the door opened. "Sorry I'm late I got held up and." Kaji Jr. began but was cut off when he saw the meal or more specifically saw Eve standing there. He just stood there in shock as his eyes laid on Eve who calmly ate her food with a certain grace and elegance.
Eve then took notice to Kaji staring at her before raising a brow at him. "Can I help you?" Eve asked and in turn Kaji's voice hummed out as he began to walk in and head straight to his room without a single word.
"What did I say?" Kensuke asked with a smirk. "He has it bad." Kensuke said and thus everyone chuckled as Eve looked confused for a moment.
"Did I miss something here?" Eve asked oblivious to the fact Kaji has a crush on her. This resulted in laughter as even Asuka found it to be funny.
"That poor boy." Asuka giggled as she saw that it was Eve who was oblivious here.
(Outside with Akira and Kuzo)
The two pilots for Kaiser sat against the wall of the house as they were starting at the night sky. Next to them were empty plates and bowls that they grabbed from inside the house. "So, you got blindsided by a pair of panties." Kuzo said as Akira had just gotten over telling Kuzo what had happened to him.
"Yeah, still not sure if it was legit or if I'm just losing it." Akira admitted as he glared at Kuzo for bringing up the pantie bit from the previous explanation.
"Well assuming that it did happen, there is a good chance this girl may be in the village somewhere." Kuzo said as he looked over to Akira while the duo sat against the wall together. "And if this lady, Honey, is hiding somewhere then Eve will find her if she hasn't already done so yet." Kuzo said as he found this arrival to be concerning.
"Yeah, our resident super spy and the Wundur's snitch." Akira said as the two chuckled to this at Eve's expense. "Let's never tell her we said that." Akira said and thus Kuzo nodded to this.
"Agreed." Kuzo said knowing Eve was deadly with her whip. Just then the door opened and from there Shinji walked out. Seeing this Kuzo began to get up knowing what was coming. "I'll be inside." Kuzo said and thus as he passed by Shinji, he took the tray set up for himself and joined the others inside the Suzuhara household.
"What do you want now?" Akira asked as he glared at Shinji.
"I just want to talk… but if you don't want too that's fine also." Shinji said which caused Akira to roll his eyes in annoyance. Sitting down Shinji passed the tray over to Akira knowing he had a large appetite in comparison to the others. Taking a moment, the pair just sat there in silence as Akira began to eat the offered food not even bothering with any gratitude.
Akira saw Shinji was refusing to speak as this was starting to annoy Akira more than him trying to bond. "Ok you came out here to talk so just say what it is you want to say." Akira said after swallowing some of the food.
"I know you hate hearing this and probably don't want to hear it but… I'm sorry." Shinji began which got Akira glaring at Shinji. "I should have been there from the start." Shinji added as this caused Akira to pause with shock at those words. "I know people tell me it's not my fault, I owe you no responsibility, and defend that I didn't know." Shinji said before he then let out a tired sigh. "But that doesn't mean I don't feel guilty for this." Shinji added which caused Akira to look away and keep eating from the offered plate. "I know what it's like to be feel unloved to be feel unwanted to be alone." Shinji said listing off the issues he had with his childhood because of Gendo's abandonment of him at four. Shinji almost teared up when he imagined Akira there at that same tender age a feeling, he did not wish on anyone else especially any child of his. "I… don't want anyone else especially my kids to feel that way to feel like they're unwanted." Shinji said and in turn Akira paused for a moment.
Akira just sat there for a moment letting Shinji say his peace while letting the words sink in for him. Akira may not want to admit it, but he did appreciate what Shinji was doing.
"So, for what it's worth." Shinji began as he put a tentative hand on Akira's shoulder. "I am truly sorry." Shinji said which then resulted in a moment of silence. In turn Akira growled to this and stood up much to Shinji's surprise. As Akira stood up, he grabbed his tray and began to head back inside of the house.
"Well come on." Akira said with a growl. "Don't look to deep into it, I'm just hungry is all." Akira said denying that he is willing to try. Shinji saw right through him before getting up and following Akira inside. From the look of things progress has finally been made.
(Back inside the Suzuhara Household)
"Well look who decided to join us." Toji said as he saw Akira enter with Shinji. Kuzo had already taken a seat and was eating when he saw Akira enter.
"Yeah, laugh it up." Akira scoffed as he took a spot that was available and began to refill his plate.
As the group had now gathered Asuka could not help but smile at the scene of Akira joining the meal. Eventually even Kaji rejoined the meal all the while making small talk and failing to impress Eve. Eve for her part just raised a brow sat there confused as to what Kaji was trying to do. It was a humorous sight as Kaji Jr. dealt with his first ever crush.
Asuka began to smile taking in the peaceful moment as it gave her an idea of what she wanted. Before the truth before this uplift of her age Asuka never dared to dream what sort of future she could have, a future she actually wanted. It left a small bitter lump though that if things were different, she would have had this life instead. A life with people who loved her with a mother and a father so many things she had stolen from her.
Looking at Akira… Asuka felt a sense of hope. Maybe not for herself maybe for Akira to have the life she was denied growing up. Maybe just maybe there was still time to reach the future she wanted for herself. But the laughter was cut short when Eve's personal terminal began to go off with an alert from her computers. When everyone heard this, they all knew what was coming.
"We need to go, now." Eve said sternly and thus it was clear that an attack from NERV was coming.
(Later at the Aida Residence)
Asuka was once more acting as mission control as she had the earpiece on, but this time Kensuke was handling the technical stuff while Asuka handled strategy. "Alright you three evacuation is good but keep the fight away from the village this time." Asuka said urging them to keep this fight contained.
"Yeah, we get it no buildings to be smashed no rockslides into the town." Akira said as he was ready for the coming battle.
"Good then begin the operation." Asuka said and thus they were all ready to do battle against NERV's monster.
(Over at the Mech Battle)
Evacuations had already begun as everyone gathered and hunkered down away from the battle. From the distance Kaiser and Wingle arrived as Wingle hovered in the air while Kaiser stood with the Ganzanto drawn to face their newly arrived foe. From the sky a new hybrid showed itself as it landed on the ground while retracting its wings like its brothers had in prior battles.
The massive form raised its head looking more like a mech then an EVA before drawing a massive polearm with an end for bludgeoning its victims. With this Kaiser and Wingle charged into battle and began the fight giving the creature no room to counter. Kaiser swung the Ganzanto and in response the NERV mech blocked with the shaft of its weapon. The impact caused a small shockwave between them which thankfully was far enough to only rattle a few windows nearby. Then with a roar from Akira Kaiser pushed forward and began forcing the new mech out of the area of the village before kicking it and sending it flying back.
The mech landed on the mountain side but was able to get back up in time to avoid an attack from the Wingle. Wingle took flight once more and sent out her boomerang blades at the new mech who deflected one and dodged the other.
Just then Wingle drew her Baton and from there she and Kaiser charged in against their foe ready to take them down. Forced to block the attack both mechs had their foes in their grasp. But then its eyes flashed and from its body two more arms unfurled and grabbed a pair of EVA sided handguns which it pointed at the two mechs. Acting fast Kaiser and Wingle got out of the way to avoid the bullet fire from their foe. During this Kaiser threw the Ganzanto at the enemy EVA who deflected it with its polearm weapon.
Kaiser was not done as he then drew the Breast Triggers and opened fire on the EVA Unit from NERV. Meanwhile Wingle went for the frontal attack but with the heavy weapon she had to be careful with her approach. Kaiser backflipped away while he opened fire on the mech while Wingle flew around to find an opening, but the four arms thing was proving to be a vexing obstacle. Clearly the robot had things covered with both melee and ranged at the same time giving both Kaiser and Wingle little room to properly fight.
"Shit four arms why the fuck give it form arms!" Akira snarled as he glared at their foe.
"We're going to need to rethink this." Kuzo said as he tried to think of a way for them to win this. Moving to cover Kaiser fired upon the mech as it used its larger weapon to block the bullets before returning fire on the skull mech.
Wingle seeing the chance flew in to attack only for the NERV mech to turn its attention on her and fired off his guns at Wingle. Under Eve's command Wingle was forced to move back in order to avoid being shot down from the sky.
"This is getting us nowhere fast." Eve said as she saw that they can't get close without dealing with one of those pairs of arms. "We need a third combatant to keep its attention away for a three-pronged attack." Eve said as they unfortunately lack the required third team member.
"Wait something is happening!" Akira called out and thus they all looked to the creature. It jumped back and began spreading out all four of its arms to do something. Then its pylons opened up and from it they saw energy charging up from them.
(Back at the Aida's household)
"Large energy build up!" Kensuke called out in a panic when he saw the build.
"Kaiser Wingle MOVE!" Asuka yelled wanting to prevent a Ramiel incident similar to what Shinji had experienced 14 years ago.
(Back to the mech battle)
The Hybrid in turn fired off the shots forcing Kaiser to move to avoid the blast. Wingle flew outside of the beams line of sight as Eve could tell this would do some major damage if they did not exercise caution with this. The beams came to an end and just as it did the Hybrid jumped up and slammed down its weapon near Kaiser causing him to stumble.
Taking the chance, the Hybrid used its weapon and slammed it into Kaiser's midsection before spinning and sending Kaiser flying. Kaiser ended up crashing into the side of the mountain hard causing a great deal of damage to the mountain side.
(Meanwhile during the battle Honey)
Honey was watching the entire battle through a pair of binoculars as she also had her phone to her ear. She saw how Kaiser had been hit and now how the robot took time to focus on Wingle before Kaiser could rejoin the main battle.
"Yeah Village-3 is also being hit by those things." Honey said into her phone alerting her bosses on the situation. "It's looking bad though those two mechs need an assist." Honey added as she knew something was going to give and it was not going to be a good thing.
Her contact on the other end however seemed to be frustrated as Honey cringed. "Look I'm going to need the unit I need her sent down now." Honey said making it clear that her ace in the whole was needed. "If anything goes wrong, I'll take responsibility now do it!" Honey called out and thus she got a satisfactory response. "Glad that you see it my way." Honey responded before hanging up on the call. Once the phone call ended, she focused her attention on the battle awaiting her robots to be deployed for battle.

Kaiser spun in the air as he avoided more gunshots from the NERV hybrid mech. Once the shots stopped Kaiser returned fire before landing on the ground while allowing for Wingle to attack. But despite Wingle's best effort the enemy creature projected its AT-Field to stop their attempt against it.
The hybrid machine then moved back and grabbed Wingle by its face before slamming her down to the ground. Eve cried out from the impact but before she could react, she found her foe was about to slam its weapon down on her. This gave Kaiser and opening as he ran in firing his guns off before switching the grip of one and hacking into it with the axe blade. The creature was forced to back up as it roared at the pair ready to keep fighting for its objective.
Wingle then rolled over and jumped back to her feet before standing with Kaiser. "Ok any new ideas?" Kuzo asked as he glared at the foe.
"Not sure the AT-Field is becoming a problem for us." Eve said as she knew it blocked their attacks long enough for it to counter them.
But just then Asuka was heard on their communicator. "Kaiser Wingle move!" Asuka was heard and thus the three pilots heard the urgency. "Scanners picked up something come in fast and your on the X!" Asuka warned and looking up the two mechs saw a large object coming down on them. Moving out of the way they managed to avoid being smashed as a large container hit the ground silencing the entire battlefield.
All eyes looked to it as they were expecting something to happen right now. But instead, all they got was silence from the new arrival. Just then steam was let out and from it the container began to open up. It was dark inside but then the image of a heart began to glow with a pair of photonic yellow eyes.
"HONEY FLASH!" A voice called out from within before from the container a robot shot out and hit the enemy foe dead on. It was a powerful kick that it used to jump back and land upon her container revealing herself to the world.
"Sorry for the delay but the star of this show has finally arrived!" The voice of Honey came from her robot as she spoke via the speakers.
"WHAT?!" Akira, Kuzo, and even Eve cried out shocked by the sudden arrival.
"Introducing the defender of love and justice! Cutie Honey!" Honey Kisaragi called out striking a pose with her sword drawn showing off who she was.
(Back at the Aida Residence)
"What the heck?" Toji asked as he was surprised to see this.
"She seems… odd." Hikari admitted as she saw the scene and was being reminded of something from her past. Hikari won't go into detail but lets just say it involved a mask, a red scarf, red boots, red gloves, and nunchaku. Only Toji knows about it, and he was sworn to secrecy less he sleeps in the doghouse for the next few years.
"When did this become an anime?!" Kensuke asked as he was caught off guard by the sudden arrival of this mech who the pilot calls, Cutie Honey.
"If this is because of Akira and Kuzo." Asuka sighed with promise of pain for those responsible here.

Cutie Honey then jumped off her container and landed next to Kaiser as both the Skull Robot and Wingle looked at Cutie Honey. "Don't mind me stepping in, I'm guessing you guys gave a plan, right?" Cutie Honey asked as she looked to the mechs.
"Yeah, and with you here we can make it work." Kuzo said and thus Akira smirked to his partner. "Alright you and Wingle go in and attack, we'll cover you both." Kuzo said as Kaiser reloaded his guns ready to fight.
"Right!" Honey and Eve called through their robots Cutie Honey and Wingle ready to act.
The NERV mech roared out before going for the attack but Cutie Honey and Wingle were ready for it. Charging in they avoided the massive mechs while Kaiser let loose a barrage of bullets upon the foe. This gave Wingle and Cutie Honey to slice through two of the enemies four arms disarming it of its melee weapon. Once that was done the creature jumped back and began to focus on ranged combat.
"Yo Kuzo switch out!" Akira called out as he wanted a piece of the action here.
"You know I'm the one for ranged combat!" Kuzo defended but Akira smirked at Kuzo.
"Yeap but I can't stay off to the side and let a pair of sexy babes handle this." Akira said and thus Kuzo chuckled here.
"Where there is a hole it's a man's job to fill it up." Kuzo said and thus he sheathed his guns. "Alright but fuck up and I take over." Kuzo said and thus the two switched positions.
"Don't worry I don't fuck up in a fight." Akira said as he grinned sadistically for the fight.
In turn Kaiser holstered the Breast Triggers and once he did, he charged into the fight. The enemy foe didn't realize that the Ganzanto was right behind it and that was what Kaiser was gunning for. Avoiding the bullet fire from his foe Kaiser went for his sword but the enemy would not have it. Thankfully, Kaiser had backup in Wingle and Cutie Honey who sliced through the bullets with ease.
Just then the mech opened its pylons again charging its killer move. "SHIT!" Akira cursed when he saw this but then Wingle and Cutie Honey acted once more. With their swords the pair sliced the pylons opening causing the weapon damage and in doing so caused said weapons to explode. The smoke masked the creatures line of site but from the smoke Kaiser shot out and grabbed his foe by the face.
The next thing the creature knew it found its face forced into the Ganzanto's blade causing its blood to spill out. The creature felt the agony, but Kaiser was far from done as with his free hand he grabbed the Ganzanto and before using his foot to pin down his foe. What followed was an expert use of gore as Kaiser cleaved through the foe taking out its cockpit and core with one savage slash. The Mazinger EVA hybrid let out a roar of agony before its core caved in and exploded on the spot.
But from the billow of smoke Kaiser, Wingle, and Cutie Honey shot out and landed safely together. The battle had been won and thus Akira had several questions to ask here. But now there were questions to be asked from several parties with certain concerns here.
(Later at the Aida Residence)
After Kaiser and Wingle returned to their hiding spots with Cutie Honey joining them the three pilders flew over and landed outside. Once they arrived everyone began to step out followed by a young woman currently dressed in a leotard.
Asuka stepped out with the others as she glared at the new arrival. "Ok I got a few questions starting with who the heck are you." Asuka said more then asked as she glared at the new arrival.
Wearing a helmet Honey smiled before she proceeded to remove said helmet letting her blond hair flow out. Akira went wide eyed as he saw the girl in question surprised to see her. "Hi, I'm Honey Kisaragi an agent from the UN and we have a LOT to discuss." Honey said with a smile on her face as Akira recognized the girl who landed on him earlier.
"Well damn." Kuzo said surprised to see this girl. The only thing Honey did was smile as they all knew that this was going to be a long talk.
