Rebuild SKL is Kaiser
ESKK: Chapter 19 folks so here you go. Be sure to enjoy it and leave a review behind for me once you finish reading the chapter. Also heads up this chapter will be another filler mainly an info dump so sorry if it ends up being a short chapter to read.
(Start on the Wundur evening)
The alarms were blaring as the Wundur had a security breach. Agents and security personnel were moving to intercept it, but they were proving to be useless. Through the halls Misato had returned to the Wundur when she got word of what was going on and already had her own gun active.
It started early in the evening a woman was spotted by the guards approaching the Wundur. The guards tried to stop her and at first, she asked to be allowed entry. But when they refused to let her in the woman incapacitated them and managed to enter the Wundur using security codes that the system recognized somehow. Of course, when she entered the guards caught sight of her and attempted to stop her resulting in a huge firefight. The result of that fight were the guards knocked out and their guns dismantled down to scrap.
As Misato ran through the halls, she looked to her second in command as she needed an update of what was going on. "What's the situation?" Misato asked as she ran through the halls to where the intruder was last spotted.
Ritsuko kept close as she gave Misato the report of what was happening with security. "An intruder is mowing her way through the Wundur." Ritsuko said as she followed Misato.
"NERV?" Misato asked as she went with the security detail. Whoever this intruder was they made a big mistake attacking her ship.
"Unknown." Ritsuko said as the security teams have been hammering her all evening but to no avail.
"How many?" Misato asked needing to sure there was only one.
"It's just one." Ritsuko said as she took out her PDA. "According to reports the intruder appears to be female and has yet to kill anyone." Ritsuko said as this got Misato's attention.
"No casualties?" Misato asked with clear confusion in her voice.
"None so far." Ritsuko confirmed and thus this got Misato curious as to what this intruder could possibly want. "Do you think it might mean something?" Ritsuko asked as Misato had a few ideas as to what it could mean.
"No clue but we need to contain this now." Misato said as she then focused on the intruder. "Where is she right now?" Misato asked as they kept moving.
"She was sighted heading towards the hanger and." Ritsuko began but then her PDA got static before it shorted out. "Shit, she hacked the systems!" Ritsuko cursed as she was surprised that this woman hacked the Wundur.
"All security teams head to the hangers double time!" Misato ordered and thus they all got moving hoping to stop this intruder at all costs. Whoever she was Misato was not about to let her walk away with any of their equipment or mechs.
(Meanwhile with Minerva X)
Breaking into the Wundur was child's play for Minerva. She had seen many versions of its systems through several timelines and had saved them to her data banks. Though despite there being variances she was still able to hack the Wundur and make her way in. The crew however viewed her as an intruder just as they have done before. She could not fault them for this however and in turn she had opted to pacify them in a nonlethal manner. Most of her organic obstacles were mainly knocked out cold and would endure painful headaches when they wake up.
However, Minerva had a goal for being on the Wundur and that was to attain confirmation. The last world of EVA that had been touched by Mazinger had been fortunate to have avoided Zero's arrival but unfortunately Armaros had taken his place. Zero and Armaros are considered to be one of the three supreme God Robots in the multiverse. The third was known as Getter Emperor whom Minerva had crossed paths with on occasions when Mazinger and Getter inhabited the same reality.
Zero, Armaros, and Emperor the three supreme Dimensional God Machines whose power rival each other in every way that matters. Armaros has proven himself to be a threat to humanity many times over. A servant of the First Ancestral Race who originally created the Seeds of Life and Knowledge and their variants and deployed them to the stars in order to propagate life across the cosmos. Armaros was designed to ensure that this little experiment continued but after the Shinji Ikari of the world of Anima had bested Armaros his programming evolved more so when the Shinji Ikari that made up Armaros gave himself over to it. Armaros became sentient and thus would begin a rain of chaos through countless worlds of EVA.
Zero while also a threat seems more fueled by pride at being the sole super robot of all worlds. Zero was born of a world where Koji Kabuto chose the path that lead only to either god or devil. Zero was the end result a demon god that became a world all of his own. Minerva had to use a great deal of power to contain Zero, but she feared it may not have been enough at the time. Zero found a way to leak out of his prison resulting in several worlds being touched by the Mazinger. Minerva had already found at most three worlds of EVA that had been touched by the Mazinger.
Two of them Shinji Ikari would pilot Mazinger Z one of them in the place of Koji Kabuto and the other being one where Shinji's biological grandfather had constructed Mazinger Z. The last world was one where Shinji Ikari piloted the Mazinkaiser after SEELE had forced the Mazingers to be decommissioned so they may carry out their Instrumentality without fear of Mazinger Z interfering.
Getter Emperor was the neutral party he observes the progress of humankind in all its variances. There was one variant of Shinji and Mazinkaiser who had been visited by the Getter Robo team of a world called Remnant but that was a story for another time. All she can say is that young Ruby Rose was truly gifted as a Getter Pilot. She had not heard from Emperor in a while so Minerva is left to believe that Mazinger and Getter had not to collided in one world.
Minerva was soon faced with more security teams and with a glow from her eyes she deflected their gunshots. Then in a burst of speed she made quick work of her attackers before moving on to the final door. It was locked behind a security key which Minerva figured may have been bumped up. All she had to do was place her hand on it and the red light turned green allowing her entrance. The doors opened and from it she entered the hanger where the EVA Units and the Mazingers were kept.
Once she was in the room her eyes flashed to life and from there, she began to scan the EVA Units and Kaiser. "A Kaiser type Mazinger reformatted and upgraded recently." Minerva said as she scanned the machine. "Mach found, SKL Kaiser pilots from their prime reality designated as Reality VJ-666, Magami and Kaido." Minerva announced before moving towards the EVA Units. "Match found Evangelion Unit-02A Rebuild Reality type of discrepancy; Reality R-2.22 pilot identified as Asuka Langley Shikinami variant of the prime universe Asuka Langley Soryu Pilot of Evangelion Unit-02 from Prime Universe NG-01." Minerva said her eyes scanning the EVA. "Further data is required." She finished and then moved on to Mari's EVA.
"Scanning Alert anomalous variance detected designated Maria Iscariot immediate action so advised to secure Shinji Ikari's safety." Minerva said but before she could scan Miki's EVA the doors behind Minerva opened again and there stood the entire WILLE security team.
"Ok lady stand down and put your hands where I can see them!" Misato yelled as she glared at Minerva.
"Misato Katsuragi it's been a while." Minerva said as she looked to Misato who gave a confused look.
"I'm sorry I don't think we've met." Misato responded and thus Minerva looked to the side.
"My apologies I sometimes forget that variances of yourself would not know me." Minerva said which confused the crew even further. "I believe the proper term is that it is a pleasure to meet you." Minerva said as she looked towards the group.
"Yeah, great now hands up or." Misato began and in turn Minerva raised her hands in surrender.
"I assure you I mean no harm to you or your organization." Minerva said as she made it clear that she came in peace. "We share a common enemy in NERV and a greater enemy if we don't make the preparations now to stop them." Minerva said as she held her hands up in surrender.
"What greater enemy?" Misato asked and thus Minerva calmly walked over to the group. "Hey hold it!" Misato snapped but then Minerva vanished and reappeared in front of them hold her hands up to them.
"I will explain but if it helps ease you enough to listen then I will surrender myself to be handcuffed." Minerva said showing she truly meant no harm.
"Who… what are you?" Ritsuko asked and thus Minerva looked to her.
In turn Minerva deactivated her battle mask revealing her face to the entire crew who stared at her in shock. "I am the Mazinger type Gynoid known as Minerva X and the information that I am in possession of needs to be delivered to you posthaste." Minerva said and thus it was clear that she needed to deliver this message. "Now handcuffs if you will." Minerva said and thus Misato nodded to the guard.
He carefully got to putting the cuffs on Minerva and at no point did she put up a fight about it. Once Minerva was handcuffed, they all stood there for a brief moment. "The information I am to impart will require the presence of the EVA Pilots, the mech pilots, and of course Shinji Ikari for it affects them as much as it does the rest of this world." Minerva said and thus Misato hard this.
"Hey, you don't get to make demands." Ritsuko said but Minerva did not seem bothered.
"No but I am capable of escaping at any moment of my choosing I simply allow you to handcuff me to give you the feeling of safety." Minerva said plainly as this got a guard to aim his gun at him. Minerva glared and at the man and with a flash from her eyes the gun disassembled to scrap on the ground. "While I do not mean you harm but if I am sufficiently threatened then I will do what I must to defend myself." Minerva said making it clear she would only act in self-defense.
"Jeez." Misato sighed as she saw what Minerva did to the gun. "Take her down to the brig we'll have this discussion in the morning." Misato said as that was when she needed to meet with the UN Council to discuss her fate as a free woman and as the leader of WILLE.
"That will suffice." Minerva said as she was willing to play ball with WILLE despite having all the power to fight them. When all was said and done Minerva was escorted to the brig and as this happened Misato edged towards Ritsuko.
"Make sure the guards keep watch of her 24/7 she was able to hack our systems like nothing we need to know how and why." Misato said and Ritsuko nodded to this.
"Trust me I'm way ahead of you." Ritsuko said as she knew whatever power Minerva had, was not to be taken lightly.
Meanwhile in the viewing box above Jun Uzuki saw the exchange and found it to be intriguing. She smirked at this as she heard her namedrop Mazinger several times already.
"Minerva X? I wonder just how interesting you will be." Jun said with a smirk on her face that carried all the savagery that she had as the mad scientist who had constructed Kaiser and Wingle.
(Scene Break UN Meeting Misato)
Misato once more stood before the UN in the darkened room as she glared at them. She stood there in full uniform as she would not let them break her down like this. She had a lot to answer for but she sure as hell wasn't going to beg for mercy to these arrogant bastards.
"After reviewing the information reports and what not we have come to a decision." The woman said being the first one to speak on Misato's face. By the looks of it she was clearly unhappy about this for some reason.
"You should consider yourself fortunate Katsuragi." The third male in the room said as he glared at Misato. "It would seem that you are still of use in securing our worlds future." He added a glare of contempt directed at Misato for her former associations with NERV and her part in both the near Third Impact and near Fourth Impact.
"You will remain free to lead WILLE." The first male said glaring at Misato. "But know this make one mistake give us any reason and we will bring you and your organization down." He said and thus Misato nodded to this.
"Yes sir." Misato said as she stood straight waiting for the meeting to end. "I understand completely." Misato said and thus the man nodded ready to end this meeting.
"Very well this meeting is adjourned you may leave." He said and thus the holographic images vanished from Misato's sight. Once they were gone Misato let out a sigh of relief as the tension left her shoulders with how close she had come to breaking her promise to her son. Still there were other things to focus on starting with their intruder Minerva X and how the gynoid had easily broken in to the Wundur. So, leaving the meeting room Misato made her way over to her office where she knew Ritsuko was likely waiting.
(Later over in Misato Office)
When Misato had arrived just as she expected Ritsuko was already there waiting for her. "Misato seeing as you're here I can only assume the meeting had gone well." Ritsuko said as she greeted Misato.
"The UN is giving us a pass for now." Misato said as she entered the room and proceeded to pull up on her desk.
"As much as they don't seem to like us, they still need us." Ritsuko said grateful that Misato avoided prison time. If anything, once they were done with Misato Ritsuko had no illusion that she would be next on the grill.
"So, what is the statues our intruder?" Misato asked with a raised brow towards Ritsuko.
"Oddly enough she's been nothing but cooperative since being brough to the brig." Ritsuko said but she had a concern. "However, when not in discussion she just sits in there doing nothing." Ritsuko said as she showed the images of Minerva just sitting in her cell hands on her lap as she stared off into space. If not for the fact she blinked a moment ago Ritsuko would have thought, it to be a loop.
"Have you confirmed with the guards she's still in there?" Misato asked as she suspected the video was on loop and Minerva had escaped.
"I have and they confirmed she's still in there." Ritsuko said as she had more to add. "I even went down there once or twice just to be sure." Ritsuko said as she glared at the screen trying to figure out what Minerva wanted from WILLE.
"She feels like the only person who actually wants to be here." Misato said as she saw Minerva had not made any actions since being brought down to the brig. "Did you call the pilots and Shinji?" Misato asked as she looked to Ritsuko.
"Yeah, they should be here soon enough." Ritsuko said which was good for them to hear.
"Good." Misato said as she needed to know what information Minerva had, that was so important for them to hear.
"Misato, I feel I need to say this but while I trust your decisions, I have concerns about this one." Ritsuko said as they were going to hear out what Minerva had to say here.
"You're not the only one, Ritsuko." Misato said looking over to Ritsuko agreeing with her. "But you saw what she could do already, she could break out any time she wants and there would be nothing we can do to stop her without the pilots." Misato said recalling how easily she hacked into the Wundur. "But she surrendered and had been nothing but cooperative to our demands." Misato said as she got down to it. "I want to know why." Misato added before Ritsuko got to another concern.
"But bringing the pilots in like this, are you sure it's safe?" Ritsuko said but then Misato sighed a bit.
"Nope but at the very least we'll be able to deploy if she's a threat." Misato said taking a calculative risk here.
"I just hope the information she wants to give is worth the trouble she caused." Ritsuko said making it clear they had to focus now.
"I feel the same way." Misato said agreeing with Ritsuko. "So, being a Gynoid have you made any progress on that?" Misato asked looking towards Ritsuko for some confirmation there.
"Like I said she was very cooperative and not only allowed me to scan and study her but also provided a read out of her schematics though I suspect she edited it to prevent us from making more of her." Ritsuko said as she figured that would be the smart thing to do.
"No offense but after Gamia Q… I don't think anyone has plans for that." Misato said making it clear that she's had enough murderous androids roaming about. "Speaking of what was Uzuki doing with the Gamia Q's remains?" Misato asked as she had concerns about that bit.
"Apparently she plans to rebuild, reprogram, and repurpose them for our needs." Ritsuko said almost dreading what Jun planned to do to those three androids.
"I'm almost afraid to ask." Misato said fearful over what Jun was going to use the Gamia Q androids for.
"Trust me we're going to find out one way or another." Ritsuko said knowing that at this point you tell Uzuki no she'll just go ahead and do it anyway. "Oh, and before I forget I've gotten updates on Cities Alpha, Beta, and Cortayga." Ritsuko said and thus Misato looked confused.
"Cities?" Misato asked as she thought the new locations would be villages not cities.
"Due to the size of Kiba, Death Stars, and Slum Kinds base of operations as well as the surrounding area we've called them cities instead." Ritsuko said as she make it clear what was going on with those three areas. "At the very least we're getting good use out of them." Ritsuko said and thus got down to what she was initially going to tell Misato. "It seems those three left a lot of mechs behind now that your no longer under investigation we need your confirmation to repurpose them for our needs." Ritsuko said as she brought up the needed papers for that task.
"Why do I get the feeling there is more?" Misato asked with a raised brow. Ritsuko was holding out on some information and this information sounded like it was important.
"Apparently Kiba, Death Star, and… Slum King all had vessels of their own similar to the Wundur." Ritsuko revealed and thus Misato went wide eyed by this.
"Wait they all had their own Wundurs!?" Misato asked as she could not believe it.
"Yes, but they were incomplete and still are." Ritsuko revealed as Misato paid rapt attention to what Ritsuko was saying. "Honestly their not that far off to completion all that is really needed are a few more guns, some armor plating, and an engine and those vessels will be ready to take flight." Ritsuko said as Misato thought about it.
"And with the Vatican Accords only applying to the EVA's we can use them." Misato mused as she saw how they can benefit off of these new vessels. "With these vessels our fleet can be turned into a full-blown armada." Misato added as Ritsuko seemed to be running under similar thoughts about this.
"But we will need crews to man them and captains to command the crews." Ritsuko said as this may require them to ask the UN for help on this matter. "I'd suggest asking the UN for help but considering that you're not their favorite leader at the moment." Ritsuko trailed off suggesting that they could not ask the UN for aid with these new vessels.
"But considering NERV originally had the Wundur…" Misato trailed off and thus this meant they had to take the risk.
"We'll likely need those vessels." Ritsuko finished and thus Misato had to think about it.
"Ritsuko, do you think there might be some way to get these birds in the air?" Misato asked as she knew they needed these vessels to even out the playing field with NERV.
"It's possible but I won't know for sure until I get a good look at them." Ritsuko said seeing where Misato was going with this.
"Ok then I want you to work with Uzuki and Maya to get it done." Misato said which Ritsuko could do.
"As much as I dislike Uzuki her input will be more valuable in this case." Ritsuko said but had another issue. "Though we might not be able to get pilots trained up to operate those mechs." Ritsuko said which got Misato annoyed.
"Can you modify the cockpits for an easier user interface?" Misato asked which Ritsuko smirked a bit.
"I might be able to, but I suspect Uzuki may already have a few ideas." Ritsuko said as Jun would no doubt have already figured out an alternative method to control those mechs in the coming assault.
"Alright then coordinate with her to make this happen." Misato said before moving to the next subject of discussion. "And are those new plug suits ready yet?" Misato added as Ritsuko knew what Misato was talking about.
"With Shikinami's sudden growth spurt and aging I had to do major reworks to her Plug suit so it would fit her new physique." Ritsuko began as Misato glared at Ritsuko noting the tone Ritsuko used when mentioning Asuka.
"And the others?" Misato asked referring to the Pilots for Kaiser, Wingle, and the Iron Maidens.
"Getting the Akira and Kuzo's measurements was like bathing a cat." Ritsuko began with a frustrated sigh. "But in the end, I managed to get them and now their suits should be synthetized soon enough." Ritsuko said before getting to the main issue here. "Now we just need to talk them into wearing the suits." Ritsuko said as she had no illusions that Akira and Kuzo would put up a fight about the suits.
"If the new interface for Kaiser is in anyway as Dr. Uzuki described then they might not have a choice." Misato said knowing that they would have to wear the suits in order for the pair to handle the new upgrades Jun installed into Kaiser.
"Understood." Ritsuko said hoping that Jun can handle those two enough to get them in wear the new plug suits. "But should we really call these new suits plug suits seeing as the pilots using them aren't going to be operating an EVA or even be in an entry plug." Ritsuko quipped causing Misato to chuckle a bit.
"Very funny." Misato retorted as they focused on the current task. "Now if there's nothing else of importance, we have a prisoner to interrogate." Misato said as she stood up.
"Agreed the pilots should be arriving any minute now." Ritsuko said and thus the two woman left the room to meet with Minerva X and find out what she knows about NERV.
(Scene Break Meeting Room Wundur)
The crew all sat in the room as Minerva X stood at the end with handcuffs around her wrists. On one side of the room Shinji stood there with Miki, Kuzo, Asuka, Misato, Akira, Ritsuko, and Maya. On the other side was Makoto, Shigeru, Mari, Eve, Hurricane, Flash, and Misty. Jun, Sakura, and Midori were also in the room as Midori gave Minerva a glare showing she did not trust the gynoid not in the slightest.
"Thank you for meeting with me like this." Minerva said as she began to dialogue. "I know this has caused you all trouble so before we officially begin, I would like to offer my apologies for the trouble I had caused to all of you." Minerva began with a respectful bow to the group here.
"You got us all to meet with you so what did you want to talk about?" Misato asked as she looked at Minerva wanting to hear what she had to say. But the tone Misato used showed that Minerva's excuse better be a good one.
"I am the Gynoid known as Minerva X my creator is known as Juzo Kabuto the man who originally created the technology behind Mazinger and by extension Kaiser." Minerva began which Jun found strange.
"That can't be right I'm the creator." Jun said as she already called out an inconsistency.
"Perhaps in this reality yes but not in the reality of my creation." Minerva said which got the groups attention.
"I'm sorry did you say Reality as in another reality?" Ritsuko asked as she heard what Minerva just said.
"I did." Minerva said confirming what she had just revealed.
"Interesting." Jun said as she found this to open a new avenue for her research.
"Interesting more like crazy. Maybe she's got a few wires crossed." Asuka said as she found this hard to believe.
"No… it's not that hard to believe." Shinji spoke up as this got the groups attention. "When I was in the Gate of Guff, I could get glimpses of other worlds other realities, but those realities were only." Shinji began until Minerva cut in.
"Possibilities realities that could exists with the correct sequence events originating from its seed." Minerva explained which got the groups attention.
"I'm sorry but you can't expect us to believe what you're saying." Ritsuko said and thus Minerva looked to her.
"I would expect nothing less of you Dr. Akagi you've found my revelations hard to swallow several times until I provided you with actual evidence." Minerva said almost as if she have had this conversation several times in the past. "I can provide you with the evidence as well as information of a much greater threat should we fail to eliminate NERV." Minerva said as she looked to the group.
"A greater threat?" Misato asked with concern and worry.
"Yes." Minerva responded her voice neutral as she spoke to them.
"Start from the beginning." Eve suddenly spoke as she wanted to hear what Minerva had to say to the group.
"Very well." Minerva said and thus to their shock she stood up and tore off the handcuffs. Before they could react, her eyes flashed to life, and they were all blinded by it with a cry of shock. They could not see anything but when they did manage to open their eyes the found themselves in what looked to be a world of light with cubes floating up towards nothingness.
"What the hell?" Asuka asked as she saw the universe around her.
"This is the Adjacent Universe connected to yours, the Gate of Guff as you would call it." Minerva revealed as she entered their sight again. But she was the only one who was physically here everyone else found themselves to be transparent in this odd world. "Do not worry I am simply projecting your minds here in a way that you can perceive it." Minerva explained as she spoke to the group. "Shinji Ikari-kun would no doubt recognized this place." Minerva added and thus Mari had to ask.
"Ok why the heck are you the only one who isn't see through?" Mari asked and thus Minerva got to it.
"I exist in a quantum state an existence that can be compared to that of Schrodinger Cat I am here and at the same time I am still on the Wundur with the rest of your bodies." Minerva revealed as she was showing her cards so WILLE would trust her. "I must admit I forgotten what watching you sleep was like Shinji Ikari-kun." Minerva admitted causing Shinji to bluish and Asuka to glare.
"The fuck!?" Akira asked when he heard this.
"Incredible." Ritsuko said as her scientific mind was at work gazing upon the dimension. "Tell me what exactly all of these cubes are the ones floating around us?" Ritsuko asked as she gestured to the cubes with kanji inside them.
"Those are possibilities realities that can be formed based on our own choices." Minerva revealed as she looked towards Ritsuko who made a mental note of this.
"Hey what's that ball of energy over there!?" Maya asked as Minerva saw it.
"That over there is Kaiser's Photon Core." Minerva revealed to the young woman. "As a Mazinger it will appear here to your perception so long as I am within close enough proximity to it." Minerva explained and thus got down to it.
"Ok why did you bring us here, Minerva?" Misato asked as she glared at Minerva.
"I will show you now." Minerva said and in turn with a snap of her fingers the entire world shifted. The dimension was moving with the cubes passing by or through the group while Minerva avoided touching them when able. They soon arrived at what looked to be a set of cubes that had formed up into a tower or maybe a tree.
"These are the primary universes that I brought you here to discuss." Minerva said and thus she had the sets circle for the group view showing that these, tower, were more like trees. And from how they were set up they formed a triangle between each other. The cubes seemed to branch out into other cubes which from what they could understand were not possible realities but realities that had been actualized.
"This set is where your reality resides." Minerva explained as she gestured to one tree. "And this reality is where Mazinger originated from." Minerva said gesturing to the reality next to it. It sees Minerva had marked the one with EVA utilizing the tree of Sephiroth and the one for Mazinger with a stylized Z.
"Originated?" Jun asked with a raised brow when she heard this.
"Yes, as you can see these realities are set up as trees for simplicity sake." Minerva began as she gestured to the three. "These three realities are the three primary realities in the multiverse." Minerva said as she explained the situation to the group.
"You set them up as trees why?" Kuzo asked as he wanted some answers.
"Because again it was for the sake of simplicity." Minerva said and thus got down to it. "As for Dr. Uzuki's question using trees would be the ideal metaphor here." Minerva said and thus with her own power displayed the holographic image of a seed. "Think of the multiverse as a tree as the seed sprouts growing into a tree it branches out." Minerva said showing the process of a trees growth. "Now picture those branches as different realities based around choices your other selves had made." Minerva said adding the cubes in to help emphasis this fact. "Now imagine that tree is in a forest compromised of similar trees whose laws and natures follow different sets of rules then what you are used to." Minerva said as she displayed similar trees as a forest.
"Ok this is all well and good, but can you hurry it up?" Mari asked but then was shushed by Ritsuko who found this to be fascinating.
"Now as a trees grows in a forest the branches are bound to grow and meet with the other trees in the forest." Minerva said and thus showed one such tree. "The branches meet and from there the two realities meet." Minerva said before removing the image entirely returning them to the initial image.
"When two realities meet in such a way the resulting outcome will always be a combination of the two." Minerva explained as it sounded like a crossover. "From there the resulting reality needs to compromise and compensate in order to sustain itself resulting in a world of both EVA and Mazinger." Minerva said gesturing to the group before her showing that they were the result of this incident.
"So, if our world hadn't crashed into Mazinger world then we'd have a completely different reality." Asuka said a bit annoyed by this.
"No exactly in fact I happened upon several realities with the red sea and the red earth." Minerva said showing that the result of the Third Impact was not just a one off for this Earth. "But I'm afraid that your combined world had drawn the attention of two exceptionally powering beings." Minerva said as her tone changed. "Two being who will not hesitate to destroy you all." Minerva said and thus showed the images to them. "They are Evangelion Armaros." Minerva began as she displayed the black giant Armaros to them. "And Mazinger Zero." Minerva said as she displayed the image of Mazinger Zero.
Needless to say, everyone was concerned by Armaros and Zero's appearance. Akira and Kuzo just glared at it but even they felt these things were bad news. "I can't be certain, but I do know that at least one of them is coming I just don't know which one." Minerva said and thus Misato had to ask.
"Evangelion Armaros and Mazinger Zero?" Misato asked as she got to asking. "What are they?" Misato asked and thus Minerva had the answers.
"Evangelion Armaros a being that had been broken into a heartless black hole of despair." Minerva began as she started with Armaros. "His first confirmed siting had been in the Reality Designated as NG-02 codenamed Anima." Minerva said showing images of Armaros standing atop the moon with the Lance of Longinus. "Thankfully, the Shinji of Anima was able to defeat Armaros, but it was very uphill battle for him." Minerva said as she had seen the data.
"And the other one?" Sakura asked curious as to Mazinger Zero.
"Mazinger Zero a prideful and at time arrogant machine of destruction." Minerva began displaying the images of Mazinger Zero. "His power is so great that he's capable of creating a world all his own where he is the one and only super robot in existence." Minerva said showing the dangers of the power of Mazinger Zero.
"This is bullshit!" Midori snapped as she glared at the scene.
"Midori." Sakura said warning Midori.
"No, I mean do you honestly expect us to believe that there are god machines and a near godly EVA out there! I call bull she's clearly lying to us just to scare us!" Midori yelled and in turn Minerva gave Midori a glare.
"Midori Kitakami a girl who can not let go of her rage and desire for revenge who's own actions had seen herself and the world destroyed because of it." Minerva said as she looked at Midori like an annoying bug that won't buzz off. "But I will admit skepticism is no doubt the appropriate response." Minerva said and thus she proceeded to bring up three of the cubes that was darkened like it was dead. Two of them from the EVA's tree and one from the Mazinger tree.
"I believe these realities will show you all that the threat is very real." Minerva said and thus she closed her eyes and charged power into them. The cubes then lit up and once more everyone was blinded by the bright light.
When they opened their eyes again, they found themselves in Village 3, but the pillars were gone. The water and ground was blue and green. "This world thanks to WILLE as well as the sacrifices of Shinji Ikari and Misato Katsuragi that was cursed of the Second and Third Impacts." Minerva said showing them the world in question.
"Pretty." Miki said with a smile on her face. People soon showed up and walked through the group much to their shock. By the looks of it everyone was celebrating this miracle. "Using the Lance of Longinus, the Lance of Cassius, and the Lance of Giuss Shinji Ikari cured the world and erased EVA from it before departing to the next reality one without EVA." Minerva said as everyone was filled with hope and joy.
"But… that had proven to be a fatal and final mistake." Minerva said and just as she said that the entire scene changed. The sky split open a clear sign of the Impact and descending from above was Armaros the black giant came down with the Spear of Giuss in his hand. Everyone was horrified but this and without EVA, they could not fight it.
"By departing this reality Shinji Ikari had left a void where he once was allowing for Armaros to slip in and do as he always, does." Minerva said as Armaros landed on the ground crushing building and people underfoot. "Trigger Instrumentality." Minerva finished and soon Armaros stabbed the lance into the ground and in doing so released a shockwave of power that forced everyone to shield themselves on instinct. When the dust settled, they were horrified at the result. Every living being human, and animal was all reduced to pillars of salt. Only Armaros stood there the last living being on the planet. He hovered up and flew towards the moon and from what the group saw he landed and just stood there waiting. The Earth was completely red now no landmass no oceans just red dust and salt was left behind.
"That thing… it was contained in that reality… right?" Makoto asked shocked with how quickly and easily Armaros had wiped out the entire planet Earth.
"No… once he finished here, he went to the next reality over… the one Shinji Ikari had travelled to." Minerva said and thus she produced the other cube and once more the light shined from it.
The group soon found themselves in a train station and found the 28-year-old Shinji Ikari sitting at a bench. He had a DSS choker on his neck as he sat there when all of a sudden, a 28-year-old Mari showed up and put her hands over the man's eyes. Minerva meanwhile was glaring at the other Mari and by extension the actual Mari as if they were unsightly figures.
"Guess who." The Mari of this reality said as this was clearly a memory.
"A gorgeous girl with big boobs." The Shinji with he choker said as Asuka glared at that Shinji while Mari laughed nervously behind the 28-year-old Asuka.
"Bingo." The adult Mari said as she then walked around and stood in front of Shinji. The glare from Minerva increased as she eased closer to Shinji before sniffing him. "You smell fine as usual the smell of an adult." She said with a smile on her face.
"And your real cute as normal." Shinji said as he removed her glasses a little before putting them back on her face.
"Now your talking like a real grownup." Mari said both of them unaware of the observers of this peaceful memory. Mari then proceeded to remove the DSS choker from Shinji's neck before she stepped back and offered her hand to Shinji with a smile. "C'mon Shinji." Mari said and thus Shinji nodded to this.
"Let's go." Shinji responded taking Mari's hand before they both left the train station running up the stairs.
The group found themselves following the scene to the top of the stairs with Mari reaching the top first. When she did and they left the train station something horrific happened. Mari took one step out and all of a sudden, her head went flying off much to the other Shinji's shock and horror. The Mari who just lost her head was wide eyed before her blood spewed out of her body before following over her grip on Shinji's hand lost.
"Mari!" Shinji cried out horror and terror etched onto his face.
What followed was the sky splitting open once more and from it Armaros descended upon the scene. WILLE watched in horror as Armaros proceeded to do what he did last time. Only this time it seems he brought company. Several White EVAs with grinning red mouths came with him as well as two others one that looked like Unit-00 and another that looked similar to Asuka.
It was here that for the first time they saw Armaros speak and his voice powerful and booming as if echoing across the planet itself. "Foolishness." Armaros began as he glared at the world Shinji had created. "Did you honestly believe you can escape to a world without EVA like a coward?" Armaros asked as his eyes zeroed in on Shinji Ikari with pure rage for his most hated nemesis.
"No… an EVA but you shouldn't the spears." Shinji said then saw that Armaros had the Lance of Longinus in his hand.
"You did… but I undid it." Armaros revealed as he glared down upon Shinji. "This world this Neon Genesis is a disappointment a world you made to run away like a child." Armaros said as Shinji was shocked by this. "You had not grown at all your still running from your problems refusing to live in a world with pain in it." Armaros said as he glared down upon Shinji.
"Kensuke… Asuka… Toji… what did you do to them!" Shinji yelled as Armaros then chuckled.
"So. now you care for their fates." Armaros said and thus to everyone's shock Armaros displayed the previous world. The Shinji of this World looked and was horrified at the scene. "Honestly if you had remained in this world this would have been avoided." Armaros said as he glared at Shinji. "But since you insist on your continued act as a child... I had to act." Armaros said as he looked upon the world Shinji made. "To think out of all the versions of you that had bested me you are by far the weakest and most pathetic of them all." Armaros said as he was clearly displeased with Shinji. "At least the ones I faced they were willing to keep living in the world despite the pain, but you chose to run away from it as usual." Armaros said recalling the versions of Shinji he had faced.
Shinji stood with Asuka as he saw the scene his other self was enduring. Armaros then landed on the ground stepping on Mari's corpse as her blood shot out and stained his terror filled face. Asuka saw the scene and knew what Armaros was about to do as he raised the Lance of Longinus.
Midori was wide eyed by this as she had already seen the scene before. Sakura could not find it in her to look away as the traumatic scene was about to replay for her. Misato and Ritsuko were also there as Ritsuko had stopped taking notes upon witnessing the fury that Armaros was about to unleash.
"Give my regards to your friends, Shinji Ikari." Armaros said as he lifted the Lance of Longinus to the sky and drew in the power of Instrumentality towards it. His eyes flashed to life as did his fins before he brought the lance down into the Earth. Just as it did before the entire planet was decimated by the Impact Armaros brought. All sentient life reduced to salt, the seas and the earth dyed red like blood. Buildings turned to rubble and molten metal. Shinji cried out as he was also reduced to salt leaving only Armaros and his fellows.
Soon enough the entire world vanished in a flash and from it the group found themselves back into the Gate of Guff. When this happened, Makoto fell on his ass shocked and terrified at the level of power Armaros was packing. They all were in fact everyone had varying fear and terror that Armaros could appear in this world.
"H-how did Armaros find Shinji?" Ritsuko stuttered out as she was trying to wrap her mind around it.
"Simple Armaros and the existence known as Shinji Ikari are connected through countless realities and worlds." Minerva explained as she looked to Ritsuko. "If a version of Shinji Ikari exists Armaros will be aware of that Shinji Ikari." Minerva said as she then returned the two dead reality cubes back to the tree.
"Shit." Akira gasped as even he was shocked over what had just happened to the Shinji Ikari of that reality.
"All those people." Miki gasped horrified at such a terrifying fate befalling any of them.
"So simple fix we take this one out and cut off Armaros link." Midori said as she went over to Shinji but then Minerva appeared and stopped her by grabbing Midori by her shirt and lifting her up.
"Do that and you will all but ensure the arrival of Armaros." Minerva said before tossing Midori back to her original spot.
"But you just said Shinji and Armaros are linked." Ritsuko said surprised by this revelation.
"I did and you are hardly the first one to think killing Shinji Ikari to stop Armaros is a good idea." Minerva said as the tone she used suggested that plan had failed. Taking out another darkened cube she showed them a demonstration of why.
After a blinding flash, the group found themselves on the Wundur once more but with Rei here to retrieve Shinji Ikari.
"This is Reality R-3.33 B this is the incident where Rei-Q had come to retrieve Shinji Ikari from WILLE after successfully retrieving him and Unit-01 from the container in space." Minerva explained as she allowed the scene to play.
Misato and Ritsuko were forced to watch as well as they realized what was going on. All she had to do was pull the trigger.
Just one little squeeze and another nightmare would be gone forever. A nightmare. She thought, her chest swelling, but the emotion seemed to be trying to reach her from light-years away.
"I've had enough!" Shinji shouted, leaping onto Unit-00's open palm.
Misato would never forget that face – the hurt and betrayal and... anger. For a moment, she felt more than she witnessed his hatred. The boy had never looked so resolved in anything. So determined to betray them – and he didn't even know how deeply he was cutting them.
She faltered. Her nerves screamed at her to activate the choker, making her finger twitch. Not yet. She urged. Not while they still had a chance.
Unit-00's head burst, blood spattering over the Wunder's hull and Misato's hope soared – quashed in the same moment as the Eva changed. Its cape-like wings merged and became rigid, allowing the Eva to scorch away from the airship in a blast of fire.
Misato leaped and climbed up the wreckage Unit-00 had left in its wake, keeping the control stick locked on the Eva. 80mm bolts from Unit-08 arced after it and a throng of battle reports spilled over her comm, but they had already lost. NERV had stolen away its prize.
"The fact that they prioritized him over Unit-01 means he still has potential as a trigger!" Ritsuko shouted.
Misato's hand shook and she tried to tell herself it was because of the wind. Unit-00 rocketed across the sky, pulling him farther and farther from her reach. She couldn't let it happen. She couldn't let them have him. Not him – if she could even think of him that way anymore.
"Misato, use the DSS Choker!" The Ritsuko of this universe cried out as now was the only time.
She had failed.
The mechanism clicked and whirled, light flaring high above with a spray of red mist that was swept away in the northern winds. The device's data-tracker flared green: Activation successful! Specimen BM-03 neutralized!
But then the minute the flash the sky split upon just as it did before. "What Impact but how!?" Ritsuko cried out as from the sky Armaros and his followers descended upon this doomed world.
"Thank you WILLE… and Misato Katsuragi." Armaros said as he descended.
"An EVA…that can talk?!" Sakura gasped as she saw Armaros speaking to the crew.
"Thank you for eliminating the one thing the one person that could challenge me here." Armaros said as he raised the Lance of Longinus ready to end this world as he did so many others.
"Open fire now!" Misato ordered and thus the crew fired upon Armaros. Armaros simply gestured with his head to the Unit-00 look-a-like and thus she unveiled a massive positron cannon for an arm. She fired it and had the beam dust the area taking out a majority of the Wundur's fleet.
Following it up the Mari of this world fired her handgun at Armaros, but the bullets did not. In fact, the bullets Mari fired were stopped by Armaros's AT-Field before dropping down from the field. Just then Asuka joined the fight in her Unit-02B but then the Asuka like EVA moved in and pinned her down.
Asuka was wide eyed when she saw the foe. "Pathetic." The massive red foe said before Asuka's eyes widen. The crew with Minerva saw inside the plug as Asuka had a massive blade sticking through her chest.
Armaros then descended and with his AT-Field brought it down slicing Mari's EVA in two with her inside it. The EVA's innards fell and stained the Wundur with its guts. Just then Armaros brought his hand to the Wundur and the next thing that happened the entire vessel began to explode when Armaros unleashed his power into it.
What followed was a massive crash into the ocean as Misato was forced to watch as Armaros and his ilk stood above them like gods. "Congratulations WILLE you just destroyed the world." Armaros said and thus with the Lance of Longinus unleashed the Impact once more.
The group soon found themselves back in the Gate of Guff again as Misato realized just how dangerously close the DSS Chokers brough Armaros to them.
"Do you now understand the threat of Armaros?" Minerva asked as she glared at the group and thus, they knew that Armaros was no joke to anyone here.
"I'm almost afraid to ask about Mazinger Zero." Mari said as she could not help but grow close to soiling herself in fear of Zero.
"I am sorry then." Minerva said and with the final darkened cube she revealed it to WILLE.
What they found was an entire world of Hell. Buildings destroyed and burning, people crying out in terror and fear. By the looks of it the Militaries of the world had tried to fight this and failed. Rivers of lava flowed from erupted volcanos as everyone could hear the screams of terror and agony from the people bellow.
This was a true Hell on Earth that made the Red Earth look tame in comparison. Hovering above it all was the image of Mazinger Zero the one responsible for all of this.
"Minerva get us out, get us out right no!" Shinji yelled and thus Minerva did so before they found themselves back in the Gate of Guff.
Sakura was on the floor now in a fetal position while hugging herself. She was rocking herself back and forth as she had a terrified look on her face. Makoto was dry heaving on the empty ground as Shigeru was sitting on his ass with his hands to his head. Maya was in tears as she had her hand to her mouth with eyes filled with terror. Ritsuko and Misato could barely keep themselves composed as Miki then fainted on the spot.
"Miki!" Akira cried out and caught her in his arms.
"Holy shitting fuck." Hurricane said as Misty and Flash were shocked about these revelations. Kuzo gritted his teeth while Eve was trying to wrap her mind around what she had just seen. Asuka was holding a strong front but even she was scared of what Armaros and Zero will do if or when they arrive to this world.
"Now do you understand the threat Armaros and Zero poses?" Minerva asked as she looked to the group.
No one answered because honestly what could they even say? Despite all of this Misato was the one to speak up. "How… how long do we have?" Misato asked as she was clearly scared of what was coming. "And which one of them will be coming?" Misato asked and thus Minerva looked to the side.
"I… I do not know." Minerva said as she had seen this several times before. "I can say this, the Near Third Impact drew Armaros attention, the True Third Impact drew Zeros' attention, and I'm afraid that the Near Fourth Impact has caused them to zero in on this world." Minerva said as she looked to the group.
"So that's it game over?" Asuka asked as she realized that if those things were already coming then nothing, they had can stop him.
"No while I am not experienced in the damages Armaros can cause I do know that we have someone amongst us who can in fact stop Armaros." Minerva said before looking directly at Shinji. "Shinji Ikari-kun." Minerva said as she pointed to Shinji.
"Wait me/Him!?" Shinji and Midori both asked in shock to this.
"Armaros both despises and fears the existence known as Shinji Ikari." Minerva said as she looked to the group around her. "Shinji is the only existence who has ever been able to stop Armaros." Minerva said as she then pulled another cube this one glowing. When she activated it, the group saw Armaros fighting what looked to be Evangelion Unit-01. But by the looks of it this was Unit-01 in its most powerful form.
"This was the first of several Shinji Ikari's who defeated Armaros." Minerva said as she introduced the Shinji of this reality. "This is the same reality that Armaros first sighting was confirmed Reality NG-02." Minerva said and in turn it was clear what was going on.
They soon stepped back into the Gate of Guff before Ritsuko spoke next. "That means…" Ritsuko began as she looked to Shinji.
"We need the puppy." Mari said causing Minerva to glare at Mari for using that nickname for Shinji.
"Yes, only Shinji Ikari's own existence can defeat Armaros." Minerva confirmed but then Ritsuko had another question.
"But… I can't do it you all saw what Armaros did!" Shinji cried out but Minerva begged to differ.
"Shinji you have done it before not only with EVA but with another mech." Minerva said and thus with a wave of her hand she showed her personal files to Shinji.
Soon enough everyone stood as spectators to a great battle in the exposed Geofront. The ruins of NERV stood nearby as Armaros followers and several other mechanical monsters laid destroyed or melted to slag.
"Kaiser?!" Akira asked as he saw a giant robot that bore a striking resemblance to Kaiser.
"No… this is Kaisers origin point, this is Mazinkaiser." Minerva revealed as she showed the battle take place.
Mazinkaiser and Armaros stood against each other as both glared at each other ready to fight it out. Armaros broken vessel cleaved two crashed in the background with the old NERV base not too far away. "Armaros! Your desires for this world end here! They will be destroyed thanks to me and Mazinkaiser!" the voice of Shinji was heard from Mazinkaiser.
"Shinji-kun!" Misato gasped and thus the group saw a 15-year-old Shinji inside the red pilder in Mazinkaiser's crown with his eyes filled with righteous fury against Armaros.
Armaros scoffed to this as he began to draw the Lance of Longinus to face Mazinkaiser. "Do not overestimate yourself and your Mazinkaiser, Shinji Ikari." Armaros said as he glared spitefully at Mazinkaiser whose Eden Drive stood in the way of Instrumentality.
"I'll make you pay for everything!" Shinji roared out his fury ignited the beast unleashed."KAISER BLADES!" Shinji invoked and from Mazinkaiser's shoulders handles shot out. From there Mazinkaiser grabbed them and from them drew out two short swords that he would use to fight Armaros. Then with a great battle cry Shinji and Mazinkaiser charged in to fight Armaros. Using his boosters Mazinkaiser launched himself to the air and brought his blades down on Armaros.
Using the shaft of his spear Armaros blocked the attack. Mazinkaiser and Armaros glared at each other for a moment before Armaros forced Mazinkaiser back. Flipping in the air Mazinkaiser landed on the ground and slid through tearing the ground up as he did so.
Armaros charged at Mazinkaiser intent on skewering Mazinkaiser with the powerful Lance of Longinus. Mazinkaiser and Shinji however were not ones to give up so easily. "PHOTON POWER BEAM!" Shinji cried out and in turn Mazinkaiser fired a beam of photonic energy from his eyes. Armaros fired his own ocular eye beams as the two blasts collided and met with equal force. The beams soon exploded cancelling each other out. "FIRE BLASTER!" Shinji invoked and thus Mazinkaiser fired his powerful chest weapon against Armaros.
"Ok that's just not fair." Kuzo said as he watched Mazinkaiser use his own version of the Inferno Blaster without doing a Wing Cross first.
Armaros however stopped and projected his AT-Field and used his own wings as a shield to stop the Fire Blaster. The beam split and was deflected behind and around Armaros leaving him unharmed from it.
"Your weapons have no affect on me, Shinji Ikari!" Armaros called out and roared as he charged with the Lance of Longinus to end Mazinkaiser. Thankfully Mazinkaiser was able to stop the attack with the Kaiser Blades but was knocked into the ruined NERV pyramid. Armaros then brought the Lance of Longinus down upon Mazinkaiser attempting to end the threat he poses to him once and for all. Mazinkaiser blocked the attacked and was now struggling against the godlike EVA.
"Hey, Minny what's the hell he's getting his ass kicked!" Asuka called out as everyone saw Mazinkaiser being defeated by Armaros in this final battle.
"Just watch." Minerva said as she saw this before Minerva had been there to watch this battle between two titans.
"Dammit." Shinji cursed as he tried to hold on. "Is this… all that I can do?" Shinji wondered to himself as he tried to hold the line against Armaros's power.
"Shinji-kun." The voice of Misato echoed in Shinji's mind.
"Come on Shinji your, my dad's successor get back up and fight!" Lisa's voice echoed next.
"I thought the invincible Shinji had outgrown that spineless persona." Asuka's voice followed as Shinji heard the voice of the woman he loved.
"Our victory is near. Fight Ikari-kun." Rei's voice followed and thus Shinji felt his resolve being reignited.
"Come on you can keep going Shinji!" Kensuke spoke next and thus Shinji gritted his teeth.
"Shinji… my boy you have the power to exceed God and Devil use it as you wish." The final voice, his mother, said and thus Shinji was ready to keep the fight going and stop Armaros here and now.
"That's right." Shinji said as he glared at Armaros. "I can't lose now! I WON'T RUN AWAY!" Shinji yelled and thus his feelings and fury were fed into Mazinkaiser. Mazinkaiser's eyes flashed with that same fury as he began to push back against Armaros. Mazinkaiser then unleashed his Turbo Smasher Punch and disarmed Armaros of the Lance of Longinus.
Shinji knew he had a brief moment of opportunity before Armaros summons the Lance of Longinus back. "PHOTON POWER BEAM!" Shinji invoked and thus Mazinkaiser fired his eye beams again straight into Armaros chest where his core was located. Armaros felt the pain as he stumbled back grabbing where his core had been hit by Mazinkaiser.
Rising to his feet Mazinkaiser was not about to let his advantage fade. So as the Turbo Smasher Punches returned Shinji proceeded to discard the Kaiser Blades for pure fisticuffs. "This is the end! KAISER KNUCKLE!" Shinji invoked as Kaiser's fists were spinning rapidly before he punched Armaros in the face. "That was for Lori-san!" Shinji began before sending another punch into Armaros' face. "That was for Lory-san!" Shinji continued as clearly; he was releasing all his rage on Armaros. "This is for Maya-san!" Shinji called out punching Armaros in his core as the armor fell exposing it and showing it was cracking.
Armaros fell to his knees as he held his core shocked that he was being defeated here. "Impossible is this the limitless power or… the Eden Drive… Shinji Ikari… or Mazinkaiser's fury?" Armaros gasped out as the tables have turned against Armaros.
Shinji glared and thus was ready to end this once and for all. "And this is for Asuka and everyone on the planet you hurt!" Shinji roared and thus with a final Turbo Smasher Punch he tore through Armaros and his AT-Field sending him flying into the crater that Mazinkaiser made when he was deployed from upper orbit.
Armaros laid there on the ground beaten and bloody by Mazinkaiser and Shinji Ikari's power. "How can I be defeated… by a version like this?" Armaros asked as he tried to figure out how this lesser version of Shinji Ikari had won. Just then his eyes widened in horror as the Lance of Longinus fell back down and proceeded to stab him in his core. The core began to crack further as blood spewed out of Armaros. "Damn you Shinji Ikari! Damn you Mazinkaiser! DAMN YOU BOTH TO HELL!" Armaros roared in fury as his cores remains glowed brightly and thus unleashed what power he had to cause Impact. The blast resonated upward as it took the form of the Tree of Sephiroth.
The crew of WILLE saw this and were horrified that Armaros would try such a desperate tactic. But when they thought it worked something amazing happened before their eyes.
Just as Dr. Hell's attempt at Impact failed in Mazinkaiser's presence, just as Gendo Ikari's attempt at Impact had failed in Mazinkaiser's presence so too did Armaros's attempt. Another was containing the energy of the blast as it was absorbed directly into Mazinkaiser via the Z crest on his chest. From there once the Impact was gone Shinji roared in fury and released the Photonic Power Beam to the sky releasing the excess power from Impact Mazinkaiser had contained using his Eden Drive.
"Wow." Asuka was the first to say it as she saw what that Shinji had done.
"So Armaros can be defeated." Misato said as this gave them a little hope.
"I could have pulled it off." Akira huffed but then Shinji saw this and saw his other self the one who fought on despite Armaros great strength.
"Minerva is there any information you can give us to stand a fighting chance against Armaros or Zero?" Misato asked as they needed every bit of information they can get.
"Unfortunately, the only sure way to defeat Zero is with Koji Kabuto and his Mazinger Z and neither of those exists in this world." Minerva said as she looked to the group. "But with Shinji Ikari we stand a fighting chance against Armaros should he or when he appears." Minerva said as they had to bank all of their hopes on the Shinji Ikari here. "The only thing I can provide is a read out of all of Armaros known abilities and weapons." Minerva said as she looked to the group.
"Great but do you mind." Kuzo said gesturing to the Gate of Guff.
"Oh, my apologies." Minerva said and thus with another flash everyone was blinded again. When the light died down, they found that they were back in the meeting room on the Wundur. "Now that you have been made aware of this threat and both you advantages, and disadvantages how shall you respond to it?" Minerva asked as she looked to the group who stood before her.
"How else we fight it." Misato said as everyone seemed to have concerns.
"Can we?" Maya asked her shocked face shown that she was terrified of facing Zero or Armaros.
"I would not count yourself out Ms. Ibuki." Minerva said as she approached Maya. "After all you, Shigeru, and Makoto were the ones most responsible for supplying the Shinji Ikari who initially defeated Armaros the means to defeat him." Minerva said assuring them that if that version of the Bridge Bunnies could do it then so too can this version.
"We'll need every gun and every tool at our disposal to face Armaros and/or Zero." Misato said making it clear what they would be doing. "If Armaros shows up then WILLE will make sure that he gets sent back to wherever he came from." Misato said as she glared at the group with a glare of determination. "And if its Zero… then we fight like Hell and make him work for his victory." Misato said as she knew Armaros showing up was their best shot at surviving to see tomorrow. If Zero shows up however then even if it's a lost cause Misato wasn't about to go down without a fight regardless of if her opponent was a God or was the Devil himself.
"Looks like we're decided." Akira said as he was grinning savagely. A battle against impossible odds that's the sort of fight that he was expecting.
"Yeah!" Mari said but then found Minerva X glaring directly at her. "Uh… hi?" Mari asked with a hint of fear.
"Do you plan to drop the act anytime soon?" Minerva asked as everyone was left confused.
"I'm sorry?" Mari asked nervously feigning ignorance to Minerva.
"Minerva what are you doing?" Misato asked with concern ready to act.
"You may be able to fool most of WILLE but unfortunately this is not my first time meeting you, Mari… or perhaps you would prefer your actual name… Maria Iscariot." Minerva said and thus Jun laughed.
"Finally, someone brings it up." Jun said and thus Mari was wide eyed to this.
"Wait who?" Ritsuko asked and thus Minerva cut in.
"Maria Iscariot age 64 one of the original test pilots of the EVA Units back in the day of GEHIRN before it was reformatted into the current NERV." Minerva said as she glared at Mari as Jun raised her hand.
"I can vouch." Jun said showing she had known about it. "I would have brought it up sooner, but no one would believe me." Jun said as Mari was seen easing back trying to escape.
"What's wrong Mari?" Asuka asked as she approached Mari. "Their lying right?" She added and thus Mari saw she was cornered.
"Makinami, I'm hoping Jun and Minerva are wrong about you right?" Ritsuko asked as she saw how nervous Mari was getting and she never gets nervous.
"Guys… I can explain." Mari said raising her hands to show she wasn't planning to fight.
"Explain that you've been a Pilot ever since a few months after the Second Impact event?" Minerva asked as everyone began to surround her. "Explain that you were one of the original brains behind Project E?" Minerva added as she moved in closer to the now cornered Mari with everyone else backing up the Gynoid. Mario was at the door trying too find the switch to open it and escape, but she was on the wrong side of it. "Explain how your supposed to be Shinji Ikari's godmother?" Minerva added causing Shinji to go wide eyed.
"Wait what?!" Shinji asked when he heard this.
"Mari Illustrious Makinami is in fact Maria Iscariot a British/Japanese girl who was born back around the 1980's and had been a close childhood friend to Yui Ikari nee Ayanami and had been the one to introduce her and Gendo Ikari." Minerva said as she used the data from previous timelines to add it together. "Yui had entrusted her unborn sons upbringing to Maria before the EVA incident that resulted into her current state." Minerva said providing all the information.
"Look just listen I can explain." Mari said but then she found Akira's dagger at the sider of her head stabbing into the wall.
"Now you cannot." Akira said glaring at Mari or Maria as the case may be here. Just then Mari tried to move only for Eve to shoot Mari with a taser gun sending her sprawling and twitching on the ground instead.
"Get security in here and have Ms. Iscariot here escorted to the brig… we'll need to interrogate her for everything she knows." Misato said but had more to add. "Also keep her as far away from the younger pilots as possible." Misato added as she recalled how Mari sniffed everyone giving a bad image of who Mari really is here.
"Well shit just got real." Akira said and thus everyone knew that everything had changed. It would seem that mankind is preparing to face the ultimate enemy the God of all Evangelions, Evangelion Armaros.
