ESKK: We're almost there people. Lets get this party started right.

(Start Wundur before the battle)

In a hidden part of the Wundur in the hours leading up to the final battle Midori was seen amongst several other crew members. These members of the Wundur crew were like minded to her cause and this was the only time they can meet in secret. With Eve as Misato's eyes and ears amongst the ship they hardly found anywhere that Eve would not try to find them. Hopefully, her battle preparations will keep her distracted long enough for them to finish their planning stage.

Midori found them all and told them about Minerva's warning of Armaros and Zero. None of them bought it for even a second, they knew Minerva and the crap about Armaros and Zero was probably something the brat conjured up to make himself look innocent or valuable. Misato and much of the crew at the meeting bought it like the idiots they were but not Midori and none of them did either.

"So, what's the news on Unit 01's self-destruct system?" One of the engineers demanded. He was nervous, constantly looking for prying eyes or ears. "Can it be activated remotely?" He asked hoping that Eve was not listening in on them.

"Not yet." Takao revealed with a scowl on his face. "The only way to activate it right now is manually. We're working on a trigger, though." Takao replied but it may not mean much with how little time they have left. "If that doesn't work, there's always plan B. Ikari wants Unit 01, without it his entire scenario and life's work turns to dust. We have the thing he wants. That's our advantage." He said and thus Nagara cut in with an idea of her own.

"What if we coerce the brat?" Nagara was the next to speak. Her eyes narrowed at the green armband they all sported. "If it can be done manually, let's make it so that devil spawn thinks there is no other way." She said as Midori knew they had three Devils spawns to worry about.

"Unlikely." Takao crossed his arms and turned his gaze to the ceiling. "The unit's awakened. It can probably override even the pilot's will." Takao said calmly with his arms crossed. "I'd have to think it possesses some form of self-preservation, at least until its purpose is achieved." He said which meant that was out of the question.

One of the pilots groaned when he heard this. "I told you guys," He started which got the crews attention. "Akagi has access to the dummy system right now she's working on commands that will override even the awakened state." He said which got the crew to listen. "We'll have one chance to blow Kaiser, Unit 01 and 13 back into hell where they came from. The Third Child and his crotch spawn are irrelevant." He said acting as though they had a chance. "In fact, if by some reason he was to say… disappear… it would benefit the cause." He said as a vile plan formed between them.

"How do we know Akagi is on our side?" Another pilot asked with a raised brow. Ritsuko had been working on the chokers yes, but she bought into the whole Armaros and Zero story like the others. "She's always been on the Captain's side aren't they friends or something?" The unnamed pilot asked worried that Eve might be listening in on them.

"Doctor Akagi is pragmatic," Midori interjected to break up the fear. "She's using the Captain and her plan to achieve our own objective." Midori said as she knew Ritsuko was too smart to buy into Minerva and her Armaros and Zero threat. "Why would she waste days of work on that purple beast, otherwise?" She added and then had one more thing to add. "Besides, she's the closest to the Captain, and the best suited to assume command after we make our move." Midori finished knowing that their plan was basically a mutiny.

"Well that all well and good but we need to figure out the codes for the brats cell." Nagara said as she knew that without those codes Shinji and Minerva were outside their reach.

"I'm working on it; I should have it by the time we reach ground zero." Midori said knowing that they only had one chance to save the world from the Ikari's all three of them. "Everyone knows their role and tasks, then," Midori said getting everyone aware of their task. "For a world where trees can grow." Midori said and in turn the group nodded.

"For a world where trees can grow," echoed the group before disbanding to prepare for their mutiny.

(Present Day Wundur Service halls)

"Come on, hurry up! We've only got this one chance!"

The pilot and seven other crew members made their way to the cages. Constant explosions and heavy turbulence slowed their progress, forced them to stumble into each other, and had cost the biggest of them his sidearm. They moved ahead regardless, knowing there no longer was a chance to rethink their actions.

"Keep blocking command's signal!" The demanded voice of the deckhand spoke. "I've got a hold on the brat's cage. Decoding the entrance sequence right now!" He said as he knew if they get caught, they were screwed.

"Midori better have done her part," the big sailor grunted. "God damn it, my handgun's floating somewhere in the lower levels." He cursed as they worked on trying to open the door.

"We don't need you shooting the brat out of spite," the pilot said glaring at the larger man. "We've got access to Unit 01's hangar, and the Entry Plug." He said making it clear that they would win. "All we need now is for our DSS trigger to work, and the Third." He said glaring at the door waiting for it to open. "If there's no victory for us, neither will there be one for Ikari. We'll take from him what he wants most, he can have Fourth Impact if he so wishes, but he won't get Unit 01." HE said showing he'd gladly let the world die out of spite.

"Let him be king over bone and rotten meat," muttered the youngest deckhand. "Let him be king of the ashes." The youngest of the group said just as another array of explosions sent them flying. The pilot's head slammed against the wall, opening a wide gash on his forehead, whereas one of the deckhand's arms was broken after it impacted a rail. There was no time to waste on injuries, so five of the seven hurried ahead. Come on, just a little more, he thought in desperation as blood colored half his sight crimson. Three, two one! Done!

"I have access!" he screamed happy to attain victory. "Get the Third, kill the robot, and move to the hangar! The gate is unlocked!" He said and in turn the group ran into the holding area, guns drawn.

But instead of Shinji and Minerva what they found was one of the androids Jun had reprogrammed standing there. Her arms were crossed as she glared at the group.

"You seven have been designated as traitors to WILLE surrender and you will receive a fair trial and a lightened sentence resist, and you will ensure a harsher sentence continue to do so and you will be killed resisting arrest." The Android said and thus the men opened fire on her.

Instead, the Androids hair activated and sliced through their guns and some of their clothing. She easily weaved past them as she had each of their WILLE ID's saved for evidence. The men saw they had no guns to defend themselves so instead the larger man charged in to hit the girl only for the former Gamia to grab his arm and twist it to break it before slamming him down.

"You have each ensured a harsher punishment surrender now or be killed." She warned them for the second time. The Mutineers were forced to raise their hands in surrender as they were disarmed and outpowered.

"You won't stop us… there are others." One of them said and thus the Android nodded.

"Confirmed sending warning to loyalists." The Android said and in turn she acted and pushed them all into Shinji's cell. "You will be retrieved either upon landing or if we must abandon ship." She said and thus closed the door on the group of mutineers.

"Dr. Uzuki your hunch was correct members of WILLE have attempted a mutiny my sisters are with Minerva and Shinji to escort them to Unit-01's cage." The Android said and thus Jun was heard on her link.

"Confirmed, Sigrun I'll inform Katsuragi of this try locating the other mutineers and proceed to either apprehend them or eliminate them." Jun responded and thus ended the call so she may contact Misato.

"Understood proceeding with the objective." Sigrun said and thus the Valkry Trinity's leader proceeded to hunt down the other traitors.

(Meanwhile over with Kozou Fuyutsuki)

Kozo Fuyutsuki sighed as he saw the battle take place outside. He was both tired and glad over what was happening. It seems Misato had gotten smart and had employed different tactics then she would normally have used. A double diversion to ensure that Kaiser and Wingle made it into NERV. He had to admit that it made him a tad bit giddy to see Gendo on the back pedal. But Gendo was adaptive and Fuyutsuki knew this as fact.

Ikari's machinations were not going according to plan, the damages Unit-13 had suffered to Kaiser was proof of that. A bitter smile turned into a small one of hope as the old professor felt a sharp, scalding needle press against his chest.

"Sorry about all this," he whispered knowing that his heart was soon to give out. The automated medical facility had given him a week, two at best. "We'll have to entertain Gendo's game a little longer." He said as he wanted Kaiser to win but he also wanted to see Yui again. Two desires were in conflict because of Kaiser were to win then he would not see Yui but if he got to see Yui then Kaiser must fall.

"You wish to take from Shinji that which was taken from you." The old man thought in despair. "How can you not see that propagating that cycle of pain will bring you nothing in the end? Foolish student." He said as he then smiled a bit recalling his last discussion with Shinji. "He's grown past you my foolish student… I fear… you may lose in the end." He said knowing that soon if all goes well NERV will fall, and the world will finally move forward.

In order to bring about his Impact, Gendo required the power of one more angel, and currently only one more remained. The trap had been set from the very first spike of activity within their old pyramid. But thanks to Misato not acting as Gendo intended for her he was trying to salvage what he can but with his forces spread thin and Kaiser cleaving them down to size Gendo was getting desperate. The Angel Clones would not suffice nor would the chimera of the defeated Angels.

Little remained if anything at all from all this old man once knew from ages past. Everyone he had known and loved had been reduced to core energy, LCL, or consumed by ambition and grief. Little, but a flicker of hope and righteousness that danced in Shinji's eyes. He had seen it, Yui's legacy still survived and with it is carried on through her grandson.

They needed the ninth angel sealed within Asuka, but alas Asuka refuses to come any closer. It was almost as if she knew that she carried what Gendo needed. Still, something felt off Ryo also knew this fact yet why was he still confident. What was that boy planning?

(Meanwhile at the battle outside)

Asuka was firing her EVA's weapons against the Adam Vessel with Wingle and Cutie Honey supporting her. Wingle flew around on the SKL-RR firing off her rifle at it while Cutie Honey let loose a Photon Power Beam. Asuka roared out as they tore through the enemy AT-Field attempting to bring it down. Her son was alone fighting down there, and she needed to be there for him. Asuka was not about to let these small fries get in the way.

So far, they were pushing their foe on the back peddle with fire power and numbers. Gendo was getting sloppy it seems… or he was trying to draw her in to get the 9th Angel from her. If Minerva's data is accurate which it has proven to be thus far then keeping Asuka away from Unit-13 was paramount in stopping Gendo and his plans.

Mari was roaring as she, Hurricane, and Mana were attacking the other Adam Vessel attempting to take it out. With only three Adam Vessels left they had a shot at ending this. Mari then went on the attack with her EVA Unit ready to fight her foes. But the Adam Vessel began its own counterattack and destroyed the opposing EVA Units arms. But that did not stop Mari.

"You think I needed those!" Mari yelled and in turn her EVA's eyes flashed to red and the mouth snapped open. "Thanks for the spare!" Mari yelled and proceeded to consume the Adam Vessels arm. Once that was done her EVA regrow its lost right arm… no it simply replaced it with the Adam Vessels arm. So, with its AT-Field gone Mari jumped off the foe and landed on the Wundur's outer hull while her EVA flexed its new hand.

Following up Hurricane and Mana moved in with Iron Maiden and Trident before unleashing a barrage of gun fire on the downed vessels core. The result was the core shattering and the now dead Adam Vessel falling lifeless to the earth bellow.

(With Miki, Flash, and Misty)

Over with Miki she had Flash and Misty supporting her as the three giants of steel and flesh fought the Adam Vessel. Miki's EVA had a katana as she used it to fight against the Adam Vessel while Misty provided support fire. Flash was using her Iron Maidens spear to fight off this foe. The trio kept fighting this enemy but were soon met by its AT-Field. The face opened and with a flash the ladies were all launched back by the enemy NERV Adam Vessel. Miki used her Katana to steady herself as Flash did the same.

"We need to be careful!" Miki said as Flash agreed.

"It must have a weakness." Flash said but Miki knew what to do.

"I got it, Invert Controls now!" Miki called and in turn activated her EVA's beast form.

From there Miki's EVA's jaw snapped open as the pylons came undone releasing the energy tendrils from them. Miki felt the pain of the shift but endured it all the same. The Adam Vessel responded by firing more laser shots, but Miki's EVA was too fast in this state. She then jumped onto her foe and began tearing into him. The Adam Vessel forced Miki off, but the energy tendrils still stabbed into it like wild.

Miki's eyes dilated into slits as she began to go deeper into the beast. Her EVA roared out and proceeded into its next shift. The Energy Tendrils began to shift as her form changed further. Slamming her hands into the ground they began claws with the body shifting to a quadrupedal form. Soon the energy on the shoulders formed into two K-9 heads as did the EVA's actual head.

The Adam Vessel was faced with Cerberus the guard dog of the underworld who roared out at it. The Adam Vessel attacked but was soon met with the EVA's own attack as it began clawing into it a second time. This time Miki was using all three of her EVA's heads to tear apart the Adam Vessel. Its throat was torn out before it fell over barely alive. The EVA then bit town and began tearing into the foes innards going after any organ it can get to.

It was becoming a scene of pure savage brutality and the Adam Vessel was the victim. It tried to stop it, but the EVA was too powerful. Soon its hand fell limp unable to keep going. Once the deed was done the beast state EVA roared to the heavens letting out a demonic roar of an animal for all ears.

(With Asuka, Eve, and Honey)

Nearby Eve had Wingle Switch to her dancing blade and used the whip function to wrap around the Adam Vessel leaving in vulnerable.

"Now's our chance!" Honey called out and in turn she got down to it. "OPPAI MISSILES!" Honey invoked as her mech fired off the breast missiles towards the pinned Vessel.

"Photon Power Beam!" Eve invoked and Wingle fired off her eye lasers. At the same time Asuka roared out in fury unleashing a barrage of rockets at her foe. The result was the Adam Vessel suffering severe damage, but it was still in the game. It roared out and forced the Wingle towards it and slammed her and the SKLL-RR into the Wundur.

"Dammit this thing is tough." Asuka cursed as she saw the battle take place. She needed to stop this thing and then move to assist Kaiser preferably before Armaros decides to make his appearance or worse Zero shows up. Just then Asuka was met with a loud scream over the communications link as she recognized it as one of pain. Asuka also knew the owner of that voice and in turn her instincts were triggered.

"Akira!" Asuka cried out panicked for her son's safety.

The Adam Vessel however would not allow Asuka to pass and went on the attack once more. But before it could do so it was hit by rockets. Mari then jumped onto its back and with her returned arm used a gun to fire into it.

"Go we'll cover you!" Mari called out as she knew nothing will stop this mama bear from charging in.

"Hurry bring Akira home!" Miki added as her EVA had reverted back to its base form but the tears on its body showed the damages the beast state had enforced.

Asuka saw that the team was going to cover for her to do something that was normally outside her normal actions. 'My mother never got the chance to be my mother.' Asuka thought to herself recalling the footage and information on Kyoko. 'She wanted me… she wanted to be my mother and NERV took that from her.' Asuka thought to herself clenching her fist with rage burning in her heart.

'Akira is my son… he is my child… I won't… I won't reject something that is mine.' Asuka mentally snarled and thus she knew what she had to do here. "Right!" Asuka said and thus she ran to the edge of the Wundur. Grabbing one of the weapons she needed and an axe she jumped down and landed on a ship towards the path bellow. Heading down to where she knew her son was, she intended to save her child and fight by his side.

'I'm heading down cauldron of hell. You better pray Gendo that my son is ok.' Asuka mentally growled as she went down so that they can all go back home.

(During all of this Kaiser)

Kaiser was in the middle of a battle against this giant force. Kaiser flew across the area with his large foe creating explosive crosses that forced Kaiser to evade and dodge them. Kaiser then turned and made straight for the Angelic chimera with the Ganzanto at the ready. He brought the sword down but instead the Angel used its AT-Field to stop the attack before firing a blast of energy that send the Ganzanto flying away.

"NO!" Akira called out and then had to act so Kaiser would not be hit. Once he dodged the attack Akira snarled and had the next weapon ready. "TORNADO CRUSHER!" Akira roared sending Kaiser's left fist out to attack. The Angel swatted it with the sash arm of Zuriel enhanced by the AT-Field before blasting Kaiser with Ramiels fury. Kaiser barely managed to evade it and in turn caught its arm on its return to its source.

"My turn!" Kuzo called out and in turn switched with Akira causing Kaiser to bust out the Breast Triggers. He then opened fire on the massive Angel riddling its AT-Field with holes before it sent another blast out to forced Kaiser back.

In turn the chimera angel sent its sash arms out against Kaiser who then combined the Breast Trigger into its axe form. Kuzo roared out as he hacked and cleaved through the attacks before flying away. Butin doing so he was hit by a spear from the Sachiel aspect of this creature. Kaiser's axe vanished as he seemed to be in free fall now. The Amalgam acted and went for the assault, but the Breast Triggers were holstered on Kaiser's chest again.

"Surprise! PHOTON POWER BEAM!" Akira called out and fired off Kaiser's ocular lasers but instead the Angel curved its body around the attack before sending its sash arms around Kaisers arms and the Shamshel tendrils around Kaiser's neck. Then from the bird mask an entire body came out as it was the body Sahqueil had used to attack Unit-01 when the three EVA's caught it during its attack.

In turn the Angel grabbed Kaiser neck and with a flash from its eyes released its attack on Kaiser that transferred to the pilots. Akira and Kuzo roared in pain as the angel hit Kaiser with this attack before ending it and going directly to choking the life out of Kaiser and of his pilots.

"Kuzo, we need to get out of this!" Akira called out but they had a problem.

"I can't! The Wing Cross needs to reboot!" Kuzo called as things were going from bad to worse here.

(Meanwhile NERV Command Bridge Gendo)

Gendo saw what was happening as he smirked at what he saw. Soon Kaiser will be out of his hair the final threat to his goals to reunite with Yui. The remnants of the Ninth Angel which rested within the Second Child, and Unit 01's core were both being brought to him. Given Shikinami's programming, she would be the first to jump into battle, as she always did. It was a shame Kyoko could not be here to see the fruits of what she created. That woman wanted a child but instead she created something capable of containing an Angel. Once this EVA/Kaiser hybrid was complete, retrieving Yui was but a minor logistics issue.

Then, why was there uncertainty in his chest?

The last time he thought he had the edge Kaiser pulled a miracle and attainted a major victory in severely damaging Unit-13. Gendo's hand clenched, but he caught himself before the tic manifested completely. More images flooded his brain. Yui, holding a newborn Shinji. Yui, comforting the boy as he cried. Yui, smiling. A man with the power of God and Creation should not fear anything, and yet fear remained in him, dormant but alive.

"Wait for me," he repeated to himself as he watched what will be the Devil's end. "Just a little more, and this cursed existence will make sense again." He repeated unaware that he was playing with a greater power watching from the shadows waiting for its time.

Rei Ayanami's name had long since lost any significance to him. They were means to an end, so why did he suddenly think of her, and her attempt to make dinner, so many years before? His expression never changed; his dead gaze never wavered. Regardless, the thoughts festered.

Fear, Gendo Ikari mused to himself and its definition. An unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.

"Nonsense," he grated while glaring at the screen. "The scenario is inevitable nothing the boy attempts will matter once the Second Child is procured. Not that he will attempt anything." Gendo said belittling his own son. "The Devil and the anomaly who operates it shall face the wrath of God." Gendo added as he knew what Akira was, he knew what the boy had become, and he knew that Akira would die this day.

"The boy my son Shinji has no self-agency; I made certain of it. He is no more of a threat than a butterfly trying to battle hurricane winds." Gendo said as he knew his son or so he thought.

Gendo stared into the abyss and every time it stared back, a small chill ran down his spine. Fighting the old tic of clenching his hands grew increasingly difficult. Memories returned, too vague to remind Gendo what being human meant. He suppressed all remnants of emotion with a long, deep breath.

"My wish may not be her wish." Gendo mused to himself as crimson glistened under his visor. "No matter. I will reclaim what was taken from me to whatever end." He added while glaring at the screen. "But first… the skull devil will die." Gendo said waiting for the final blow that will end Kaiser.

(Kaiser vs the Amalgam Angel)

Kaiser was pinned and in turn the Angel was about to end Kaiser here and now. Akira and Kuzo roared in challenge as they refused to go down without a fight. But before the final blow could be struck Unit-02a landed and slammed a large grinder axe against the Angel and forced it to let go of Kaiser's neck.

"Get your fucking claws off my kid!" Asuka yelled as she was in full protective instinct for her son, Akira. This gave Kaiser the opening he needed to free himself.

"NOW!" Kuzo called out and in turn Akira ejected the Pilder and fired off several rockets directly at the Angel's face. Once that was done Asuka had her EVA jump back to give Skull Pilder room to move and free Kaiser.

"Alright Pilder On!" Akira called out and redocked with Kaiser activating the skull robot once more. Then with a mighty roar from Akira and Kuzo Kaiser tore his arms free and flew upward tearing the tendrils from his legs. Then with a roar Akira launched Kaiser's arm to retrieve the Ganzanto and when he did so the Tornado Crusher proceeded to bring it back and used it to slice into the angel before reattaching the arm.

Kaiser and Asuka regrouped as they saw each other here. "What the hell are you doing here? Don't you know he wants Bardiel?!" Akira asked as he looked to Asuka.

"I know but I'm not going to let him have it." Asuka said knowing that the only way to get Bardiel from her was for Asuka to let the Angel out of its seal.

"You shouldn't even be here I had it covered!" Akira said but Asuka smirked in response to her boys act.

"Sure, didn't seem like it." Asuka quipped and in response to the scene before him Kuzo rolled his eyes finding this to be somewhat annoying.

"Hey, save the mother son argument for later. Right now, we got this asshole to deal with." Kuzo said gesturing to the angel before them.

"He's right lets deal with ugly here!" Asuka said and thus they were now ready. The two then charged at the amalgam and jumped up before they proceeded to kick the foe in the face before jumping off of it which knocked it back. Kaiser and Asuka regrouped again and with their weapons charged in and cleaved their foe down the middle creating a deep and fatal gash down the center. The core was even hit as the Angel roared in pain from the assault.

The pair then spun around and with a roar from their pilots sliced the Angel core together. But they were far from done with it or in this case Kaiser was far from done. "Kuzo now!" Akira called and Kuzo happily obliged his partner.

"Yosha aibou!" Kuzo responded and opted to finish this thing off. "RUST STREAM!" Kuzo invoked and thus Kaiser blasted the angel with its powerful tornado from its grills. The angel's flesh began to rot and decompose on the spot instead of rusting. The result was the Angel being unable to sustain itself before it turned to dust before their very eyes.

Akira and Kuzo were catching their breath as was Asuka as they won this fight. Once the three pilots had a moment to breath, they in turn began to approach the crucified white giant. "I thought this was supposed to be Unit-13." Asuka said as they stared at it as she was originally expecting to find an EVA here.

"It was my guess is that we did a lot more damage to it during the near Fourth Impact." Kuzo said as he glared at it. "What was once Unit-13 and what was used to build Iron Kaiser was merged to form this thing." Kuzo said as he glared up at the final chimera unit. "We can't use it like this, let's put it down, grab the lance and get out." Kuzo said ready to put this battle to an end.

Her muscles were burning. Whatever parts of Unit 02 remained screamed in constant agony, whereas the rest of her body felt heavy, sluggish. Asuka disregarded the pain in her eye and with Kaiser company began to make their final approach.

"Not sure if this will work." Asuka said as she pulled out another weapon, she brought in. "This Override shutdown signal plug was designed with Unit-13 in mind not Iron Kaiser or whatever this thing is." Asuka said as she glared up at the mech.

"Well only one way to find out. Hand it here we'll do it." Akira said as he offered Kaiser's hand to the EVA Asuka operated.

"No this I my job and Kaiser is our biggest gun if it fails then you need to finish it." Asuka said as she felt something was amiss right now.

"I know but this doesn't feel right." Akira said as this seemed almost too easy. "It feels like a trap." Akira admitted and thus Asuka had to admit it did feel like that.

"Then we spring it." Asuka said and thus she began her approach with Kaiser providing rear cover.

"Alright but whatever you do." Akira began but Asuka cut her son off.

"I know don't let the Angel out." Asuka said knowing Gendo likely needed Bardiel for his plans. She was focused on finally ending the nightmare. "Step by step," Asuka muttered to herself. "Little by little, you find yourself doing impossible things. And this…" Asuka said as she raised the weapon and took aim. "This is the end!" She roared and thrusted the weapon forward.

The spike clashed against a barrier, pushing Asuka back. "An AT-Field?" She exclaimed, incredulous upon the sight. "Unit 13's not supposed to have one… wait." Asuka trailed off as a realization began to hit her. "Is this Unit 02's own AT-Field? It's afraid of Unit 13?" Asuka said realizing what this meant. Regardless of how much she tried, the filed would not relent. "Come on, they need this thing to complete the final impact… I have to get rid of it right now! It's right in front of me, and I can't get through!" She called out and it was clear she could not do it alone.

Just then Kaiser moved in and grabbed the spear with his mother. "Together!" Akira called and thus Asuka nodded. Thus, together machine and organic united and brought the spear forward hoping it would be enough to end this living hell forevermore. With Kaiser providing her with some assistance Asuka did not have to bring the Angel out for this as Unit-02 could not stand against up Kaiser's boundless power for long.

(Back over on the Wundur)

The command crew observed the battle as something began to shift. As their mechs and EVA's dealt with the final Adam Vessel something had began to shift around them all. "The ships are descending, they stopped the assault," Ritsuko said from behind Misato. "Something's not right." Ritsuko said as she felt something was happening.

Crumbling remnants of the Black Moon floated all around them, with bloodied pools flowing through its surface like veins. The enemy ships descended lower than the pyramid and began to exude a blinding resplendence. Dread ever so slowly crawled up the Captain's spine, chilling her chest and spreading to her limbs.

"Wings of light?" Misato's voice strained. "They want to cause Fourth Impact using the same method as the Second?"

"No," answered Ritsuko. "They can't use those ships as a trigger. Besides, what's happening to the Black Moon isn't part of the plan. This… isn't SEELE's scenario. It's a rite we know nothing about."

The Black Moon condensed into a single beam of light and shadow. The key to Ikari's impact was at hand. "An unpredicted Impact, then," Misato growled but just then Minerva was heard on the comm links.

"Misato, we have a bigger situation." Minerva said as Misato heard her.

"Minerva, we lost contact with you what's going on?" Misato asked and thus Minerva got down to it.

"A mutiny certain members of WILLE are attempt to mutiny in order to kill Shinji Ikari." Minerva said as the crew all went wide eyed.

"They choose now to mutiny?!" Ritsuko asked shocked at such a move.

"Their petty and bitter right now the Valkyrie Trinity are hunting them down but there is more news." Minerva said and thus she got down to it. "Armaros is preparing to descend." Minerva revealed and thus Misato and Ritsuko as well as those who were aware were wide eyed in horror.

"How long do we have?" Misato asked as she knew they had to stop Armaros at all costs and that meant they needed Shinji now.

"Five Hours maybe less." Minerva said and thus Misato knew they had to end this fight and get Shinji to the front lines.

"Any word from our main forces?" Misato asked and thus Sayaka called in.

"The enemy unit is retreating!" Sayaka called out and in turn Misato knew her next move.

"Call in the other ships to back us up!" Misato called out as she knew what would happen if she suddenly attacked. "There are four enemy battle ships one is missing they want to jump us first." Misato said and thus she knew there was more to be done right now.

"The rest of us are going in." Misato said as she knew that they had to hurry before the worse.

"Aye!" The crew responded and thus they began to make their way through enemy fire. Heading down the tunnel the group shot off pot shots to force the enemy ships out of formation. Once the Wunder made it through it began its descent down to NERV's cold dark heart.

(Back with Kaiser and Unit-02a)

Akira, Kuzo, and Asuka roared as they were forcing the spear through the AT-Field growing closer to where the Core should be located. As the plug moved closer to the target something began to shift. The mechs hands switched from its restraints and then to the shock of many it broke its restraints with force.

Then Akira, Kuzo, and Asuka were wide eyed when the mech grabbed the plug and glared at the foes showing it was very much awake. Growling the mech pulled the spear closer and then proceeded to unleash a crimson ed tornado from its midsection. Asuka and Kaiser were blowing away, but Kaiser managed to fix itself, but Asuka dropped the shutdown override plug. She soon found herself pinned down underfoot as the new mech proceeded to break the plug bending it, so it snapped in two before tossing the broken halves aside. Standing at full height Akira noted it equaled Kaiser in that department and also had a large cross on its chest that reminded him of the Breast Trigger.

With the only means of shutting this thing down lost to them the chimera lifted its foot to allow Asuka freedom. Asuka tried to move away only for her EVA to be lifted up by its neck. "Jokes on you… I didn't let Bardiel out." Asuka taunted as she glared at her foe who did nothing.

"Perhaps." Gendo was heard as soon they all looked and saw Gendo was making his appearance via a platform. "But there are still alternative methods to acquiring Bardiel." Gendo said as he glared at the EVA before him.

"So, your Gendo Ikari the head bastard himself." Akira said glaring at Gendo.

"This is no place for you… Devil." Gendo said and thus the new mech released a powerful blast that knocked Kaiser back. But using the Ganzanto Kaiser was able to hold on and get back up. Kaiser moved in again to attack but was stopped by a powerful AT-Field.

"What?!" Kuzo asked caught off guard by the unknown field.

"Now then nameless one the time has come begin." Gendo began but was then cut off by the Wunder bashing through the ceiling and forcing the new mech to drop the EVA and freeing Asuka from its grip.

"The Cavalry is here!" Asuka called out when she saw this happen. Gendo was caught off guard by this and in turn Akira and Kuzo acted.

"Come on!" Akira called out and in turn Akira and Kuzo acted. Jumping onto the platforms amongst the LCL Akira and Kuzo moved in as the WILLE crew began to disembark from the Wundur.

As Gendo began to regain himself he was suddenly shot at by Kuzo who charged in with his twin guns. Kuzo proceeded to empty his clips against Gendo to take him down. Just then Misato and Ritsuko arrived as they saw what Kuzo did.

"You got him." Misato said but Kuzo glared.

"No that was too easy." Kuzo said and thus Akira smirked at something.

"I can see why." Akira said as to the older women shock Gendo began to get back up and gathered his splattered brain matter from the ground. "He's become an Angel." Akira said realizing that this had made things all the more interesting for him and Kuzo. So, drawing his Katana Akira was going to fight man to man. "LET'S HAVE FUN!" Akira roared out and thus he and Kuzo charged in as Gendo finished gathering his brain matter.

"Gods have no need for barriers we accept all that comes to us." Gendo said calmly and in turn avoided Akira's initial slice. Gendo's eyes were revealed to be gone save for a large crimson abyss that laid where they once had been.

"Did you forget if we see a God, we cut down that god!" Akira yelled as he kept the attack going but Gendo kept avoiding.

"And for a God who accepts it all you seem good at dodging!" Kuzo called as he fired at Gendo. In turn Gendo released a burst of power that knocked back the boys. Akira then took a grenade and threw it at Gendo where it exploded creating smoke. Akira and Kuzo landed and were ready for more while they had their weapons ready for more. When the smoke cleared Gendo showed that he projected his AT-Field to stop the grenade.

"Fucking hypocrite." Akira growled as he wanted to fight further. "Your cornered Ikari we got the Angel and we got Unit-01." Akira said as he then pointed his katana at Gendo. "So how about you take your death like a man." Akira added as he was ready for more conflict.

"You are an animal, Akira." Gendo said as he looked towards his sword bearing grandson.

"Excuse me is that suppose to offend me?" Akira asked as he glared at Gendo.

"No stating a fact, you live, breath, and seek conflict and battle nothing ever sates you only the fires of war can truly satisfy you." Gendo said as Akira gave pause towards that. "I had given up my humanity and need not any of such savagery, but you embraced your humanity your true self." Gendo said as he glared at Akira. "Tell me Akira if by some fortune you do stop me what will you do next without a war to fight?" Gendo said as he was trying to get into Akira's head.

"It's a curse if you think about it… those who share our blood have a lack of self-worth." Gendo said as this got Akira to take pause. "Seems I have struck a nerve." Gendo said as he looked to Akira. "Unlike your father you have an easier time to hide it and your desire for violence stems from the fact that." Gendo began only for Akira to roar and slice at him with his sword only for Gendo to stop the attack at his shoulder. Akira glared with fury into Gendo as Gendo returned the look with a passive glare. Then with a blade Akira was knocked back by Gendo's own power.

Akira rolled on the ground as his sword stabbed into the ground next to him. Akira began to get back up and glared at Gendo who began to levitate into the air.

"Father!" Shinji suddenly called and looking to the source everyone saw Shinji standing there with Minerva by his side.

"Third Children… Shinji." Gendo said as he saw his son again. "You've gotten older." Gendo said as he saw Shinji approaching.

But then Shinji stopped and kneeled by Akira. "Akira… are you ok?" Shinji asked as he looked to Akira look to his own son.

"I…" Akira began as Shinji helped him up. "Yeah, I'll live." Akira said and in turn grabbed his sword.

"I'm glad." Shinji said happy that Akira was still alive. He then directed his attention over to his father knowing that Gendo was top priority right now. "Father, you need to stop this!" Shinji called out as he glared at his father.

"Why?" Gendo asked as he glared at his son. "Why when I am so close to my goal." Gendo said as Shinji wanted to tell Gendo about Armaros but no he wouldn't listen to that.

"Because its wrong! All the people your hurting all the lives suffering! All of it caused by you and your choices!" Shinji snapped as Gendo glared at his son.

"You understand nothing." Gendo said but Shinji growled.

"Understand nothing? I understand plenty I understand that you have no love for yourself!" Shinji yelled and in turn Gendo was taken aback. "I know your past I know you grew up without love you grew up blocking the world out behind music form a Walkman!" Shinji went on as Gendo was surprised by this. "I know that mother was the only thing that made you feel loved and without it the world stopped making sense." Shinji said as Gendo was in shock that Shinji knew.

"How?" Gendo asked as he looked to Shinji surprised by his words.

"She told me… mother told me." Shinji said as Gendo heard his son out. "I had spent 14 years stuck in the Gate of Guff with only Ayanami mother, and then Eve to keep me sane." Shinji said telling Gendo how he knew as the fact Shinji had spoken to his mother surprised even WILLE. "Knowing your past… knowing the pain you put me through…" Shinji began and thus Gendo had to try to salvage this.

"I had no choice." Gendo began but Shinji cut him off.

"There was always a choice!" Shinji yelled at his father his voice echoing around them. "You knew that pain growing up but instead of choosing to break that cycle you chose to perpetuated YOU CHOSE!" Shinji yelled as Gendo had no retort for what was, basically the truth. "I spent months maybe even a year being angry at you for that and a part of me is still angry." Shinji said but then smiled bitterly. "But then came an epiphany when Eve was made." Shinji began as Gendo looked towards Wingle and was wide eyed when he saw a near perfect clone of his Yui inside the Wingle.

"When Rei made Eve… I thought of my own childhood I thought of your childhood, and I thought I can do it I can break that cycle." Shinji said as he looked to his hands that were soon clenched into fists. "I've already made the mistake with Akira sure I didn't know he existed, but I wasn't going to let him endure that pain anymore." Shinji said which surprised Akira as well. "Maybe if I show love to those who love me show my own kids that they are loved, have been loved and will always be loved then maybe just maybe… I can learn to love myself." Shinji said as he looked at his hand with hope in his eyes.

"So, father I ask you again stop this let mother rest let her rest knowing you were able to break that cycle." Shinji said begging his father to make the right choice. "Please I'm begging for your soul." Shinji said hoping that Gendo would listen to him.

Upon Shinji's heartfelt speech Gendo smiled bitterly while looking to the ground his hand clenched into a fist. "You truly have grown up." Gendo said surprised and even proud that his son had changed for the better. "But I cannot stop now." Gendo said and then to everyone's horror Gendo rose to the air and floated with his new mech.

"Father don't!" Shinji cried out as Minerva stopped him and shielded him with Akira.

"If you want something done right you must do it yourself." Gendo said and in turn raised his hand. "Nameless One kill them all and take the 9th from Shikinami." Gendo ordered but then to the shock of many the nameless mech did not move at Gendo's order. "I said move!" Gendo ordered again but it stood still.

Just when it all seemed calm the mech moved but instead of attacking it went for Gendo instead grabbing him in its hand. "WHAT?!" Gendo called out but then a new voice spoke out, Ryo's voice.

"What a heartbreaking scene." Ryo called and thus from the darkness above a new Pilder flew in firing down on the ground forcing WILLE to back off. Once it got to the scene it entered hover mode before the cockpit opened to reveal Ryo inside of it.

"You." Gendo growled as he saw Ryo was making his move showing his true colors.

"Ryo!" Akira snapped as he saw his friend high above.

"Akira… I'm happy you came all this way." Ryo said as he looked to the group bellow.

"What are you doing why are you doing this, Ryo?!" Miki called from her EVA as she wanted the truth from Ryo.

"Miki you're here too… a lovely reunion this is." Ryo said as he smiled towards Miki glad that they were all together once more. "What is needed cleansing the world of parasites, the human race." Ryo said reminding WILLE that his disturbed mind sought global extinction. "Now thanks to Gendo and thanks to your efforts I can now achieve that goal." Ryo said as he gestured to the nameless mech. "With this… well he lacks a name so I shall Christian this Kaiser as Seraph Kaiser." Ryo said to his mech the newly christened Seraph Kaiser.

"You won't win." Gendo said as he glared at Ryo and Seraph Kaiser.

"Of course, I will… Seraph Kaiser still needs an Angel and your available." Ryo said and thus the group all watched as Seraph Kaiser opened his mouth and brought Gendo towards this. If Gendo still had his eyes they would widen in horror as he was about to be eaten.

"NOOO!" Gendo roared but was silenced by a chomp from Seraph Kaiser who ate Gendo's upper half before taking down the lower. The result was Seraph Kaiser's head opening up to reveal an empty slot for the Pilder.

"STOP HIM NOW!" Misato yelled and in turn all guns fired on the Pilder. Ryo entered the Pilder again and flew away with it closing over him. The Pilder zoomed through the guns and cannons before going towards Seraph Kaiser.

"PILDER ON!" Ryo invoked and thus Seraph Kaiser was joined by his Pilder which caused the mechs eyes to flash to life. "Awaken Seraph Kaiser! Son of God!" Ryo called out and in turn the Lance of Longinus and the Lance of Cassius flew towards Seraph Kaisers hands and from there he sprouted six angelic wings from his back, one on each arm, and one on each leg.

"Akira." Ryo was heard as he spoke to Akira. "Miki." He continued getting Miki's attention. "I ask you now join with me we can be together again in perfect utopia we can become Gods of a new humanity one that knows only us as their benevolent and just rulers." Ryo spoke his voice echoed across as the EVA Infinites flew over to them surrounding Seraph Kaiser.

"Hell, the fuck no Ryo!" Akira yelled as he glared at Ryo and his Seraph Kaiser. "Your no God your fucked up that's what you are!" Akira went on as he felt a rage he never once felt before.

"So even after all we've endured you still fail to see the truth." Ryo said as he glared down at Akira. "Humanity is an infection a disease that hides its true self under the illusion of society." Ryo went on as Akira and Miki glared at him as did everyone here.

"This kid is completely insane." Maya said shocked at what Ryo was saying and she thought Akira was insane.

"Kiba, Death Star, Slum King are just three prime examples." Ryo said as Akira gritted his teeth ready to end him. "The people who suffered or served under them the people who gladly would have killed innocent children to stay alive." Ryo went on as he named off their shared traumas. "Can you honestly defend any of them when you took part and killed most of them!" Ryo accused as he glared down at Akira.

"Akira Miki don't you think about betraying me." Ryo finally said and thus Akira and Miki heard his words.

"Funny…. You're doing exactly that." Akira said with a cold glare directed towards his former friend. "Ryo we'll stop you and tear you limb from limb!" Akira snapped as this was no longer about the thrill of battle, this time its personal.

"I see… so even you would betray me both of you." Ryo said as his delusions were clear that he was the only one in the right. He was right and everyone else was wrong. "Fine then… if your so convinced I'm in the wrong then just try and stop me if you can." Ryo said and in turn with Seraph Kaiser he flew upward with the Evangelion Infinity following.

All over the world the EVA Infinity spread clashing against the Pillars in an attempt to bring the last of mankind into its fold. It was clear that they were in the final bout and if they failed then all of mankind would suffer for this. Akira clenched his fist, Miki curled up in her entry plug saddened by her friends fall, and all of WILLE knew that this may become the prelude for Armaros.

(Meanwhile over with Seraph Kaiser)

Seraph Kaiser arrived at the highest point in the sky and oversaw the Evangelion Infinite spread out across the planet. As he hovered there, he let the lances go as they were caught by his funnels and hovered around him. He then crossed his arms and waited for his nemesis to show up.

"Do not keep me waiting, Akira." Ryo said as he looked down upon the Earth bellow him. "You will see you and Miki will both see when I bring you to paradise." Ryo said waiting for his friends to arrive truly believing that they just don't know any better that they don't truly understand his offered gifts. "We'll be together again like the old times no more pesky humans just us together." Ryo said as he smiled sadly awaiting Kaiser inevitable arrival.

(Meanwhile with Armaros Dimensional Rift)

Armaros sensed it the call the summons he was already moving. Flying through the roots between realities between timelines Armaros travelled. He only had one goal in mind to answer the call and do that for which he had been made. As Armaros continued on he felt the shift in his core a familiar presence was there not Shinji Ikari, but it was a familiar one.

Armaros stopped for a moment and glared and when he did Mazinger Zero appeared next to him. The two turned and glared at each other both of them sensing the call from their respective seeds. It was clear that only one of them intended to make it to the destination they shared. Pride was a role in both of them and it was clear only one way would settle this dispute of divine proportions.

So Armaros drew his spear his own Lance of Longinus and pointed it against Zero who clenched his steel fists glaring at Armaros. "Get out of my way, Armaros." Zero snarled as he glared at Armaros. "I saw it first." Zero defended but Armaros was cold and calculating with his response.

"As the Guardian of Instrumentality ensuring its success in all its forms is within my purview." Armaros said to the rival god machine before him. "You will step aside Zero you have no right to be here." Armaros said making it clear that only he was permitted to go through.

"I think not." Zero began and thus he attacked. "RUST HURRICANE!" Zero roared and thus fired off the Rust Hurricane against Armaros. Armaros reacted and produced his AT-Field and created a protective shield around himself that caused the god level winds to blow around Armaros. Armaros then charged at Zero and thus the two began their climatic battle over the right to this melded world of EVA and Mazinger. But whoever wins this dispute those on that world will face the might of true almighty demon gods of steel.
