As Naruto sparred against the elder on the water for the past week, whose name I learned was Rakuro, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe mixed with frustration. Despite my best efforts, he effortlessly outmanoeuvred me, his movements fluid and precise as he danced across the surface of the water.

All in all, I liked my new sensei a lot. Especially how he never cared about me being a jinchuriki from the beginning.

Flashback:

"As you know the tree climbing chakra exercise, we'll work on your water walking exercise. Before we do that, we need to get rid of the five-element seal on your eight-trigram seal," Elder Rakuro said to me.

This got me alarmed. "How did you know there was a seal on me, gramps?"

This got Rakuro into a fit of laughter. "I've been a fuinjutsu grandmaster for centuries, so I've got a sixth sense when it comes to seals."

"Wait, does this mean you know about the seal on me?" Dread washed over me.

"Hai, quite the powerful seal you've got there, especially for holding the nine-tailed fox, Kurama. We've only got a month left for you to complete your training, so let's get rid of the seal."

"Do you not care about me having the nine-tail fox in me?" I couldn't help but question the lion. After all, everyone had an initial negative opinion on me. Iruka used to be scared of me, but not anymore. Well I'm not sure with Kakashi he always acted so aloof, making him hard to read, and well he's never brought up the jinchuriki topic around me to which I was grateful for.

Rakuro looked at Naruto with a warmth that seemed to penetrate to his very soul. "I don't care who you are, Naruto Uzumaki. The moment you joined our clan, child, you joined our family. Family will always love family, no matter the circumstances."

Naruto's eyes welled up with tears, overwhelmed by the acceptance and kindness he had longed for his entire life. For the first time, he felt truly at home, surrounded by a sense of belonging that he had never known before. With a grateful smile, he nodded, silently thanking Rokuro for embracing him as one of their own.

End of flashback

Well, that was what we focused on in the morning and in the afternoon we focused on ninjutsu, mainly elemental ninjutsu.

I found out wind was my elemental affinity, I spent most of my afternoon trying to slice apart rocks.

Rakuro was instrumental in my progress. His advice on utilizing wind style techniques was invaluable, guiding me with his expertise and insight. With each piece of advice he offered, I felt myself growing stronger and more confident in my abilities.

As for food, let's just say I've been consuming a lot of rice and meat. My physique has grown a lot more, as I've been seeing more muscles on my body. I can't wait to see the difference between my body before and after.

For the meat I had to hunt was boar and man were they hard. First, they were so big, triple the size of me, but skinning and retrieving the meat from it weren't too hard as this was one of the requirements of the survival class from the academy. Where they taught us to hunt for food and know how to skin and get the meat from it.

Well as for the rice, I was forced from Rokuro to go back to the village and buy 20kg of rice as part of my diet for the month.

Rakuro scrutinized my dietary habits with a critical eye, his gaze piercing as he took note of my reliance on a single staple: ramen, and more ramen. The announcement of a ban on ramen for the month elicited a dramatic reaction from me, met with protest and futile attempts to negotiate my way out of the decree. However, Rakuro remained steadfast in his decision, unyielding in his resolve to enforce a healthier, more balanced diet.

In my moment of defiance, I found myself on the receiving end of Rakuro's formidable skills, enduring a lesson in humility as he swiftly subdued my rebellion. Bruised and defeated, I begrudgingly accepted the ban, resigning myself to a month without my beloved ramen.

Though his eyes did twitch when he heard that I only ramen for some reason he said "why am I not surprised his diet consist of ramen, as expected from an Uzumaki". Wonder what he meant by that.

Rakuro pov:

Well one thing I managed to confirm that young Naruto was one of ashine descendants, apparently a great grandson of Mito Uzumaki. Well, how I managed to find out is by asking the third hokage.

Flashback:

In the hushed ambiance of the Hokage's office, Rokuro and Hiruzen exchanged pleasantries, their camaraderie evident in the warmth of their interaction.

"It's been a while, young Third. How is Enma? It's been a long time since I've seen him," Rakurogreeted Hiruzen with a respectful bow, his tone tinged with nostalgia for days gone by.

Hiruzen chuckled in response, his eyes twinkling with fond memories of his beloved summon. "Enma is still the same as ever, stubborn as a mule. Some things never change," he quipped, a hint of amusement lacing his words.

Rakuro's gaze sharpened as he addressed the Hokage, a knowing glint in his eyes. "I suppose Naruto signing the lion contract comes as no surprise to you, Lord Third," he remarked, his intuition keenly attuned to the subtle nuances of the situation.

Hiruzen's expression remained impassive, betraying little of his inner thoughts as he casually lit his pipe. "Well, I had my theories, and Naruto being summoned to the lion realm was the most plausible explanation," he admitted nonchalantly, his demeanor betraying the depth of his insight.

As Rakuro contemplated Hiruzen's words, he couldn't help but marvel at the formidable strength and intellect of the man before him. Despite lacking the bloodline advantages of legendary figures like Madara and Hashirama, Hiruzen had carved out a legacy of his own through sheer determination and unparalleled skill. A man in his prime who could push both Madara and Hashirama to their limits.

In his prime, Hiruzen had stood shoulder to shoulder with the demigods of old, his mastery of elemental ninjutsu and strategic brilliance rivaling even the most formidable opponents. It was a testament to his unwavering dedication and unwavering resolve, qualities that had earned him the title of the God of Shinobi.

"I believe you came to confirm one thing, am I right?" Rokuro inquired, his gaze fixed on Hiruzen with unwavering intensity.

Hiruzen nodded solemnly, understanding the gravity of Rokuro's inquiry. "Yes, Naruto is a descendant of Ashina," he confirmed, his voice resonating with a sense of reverence for the ancient lineage that Naruto carried within him.

Ten minutes later, after their discussion:

"Thank you for answering my queries, Hokage-sama," Rokuro bowed respectfully to Hiruzen, his gratitude palpable in the sincerity of his gesture.

"I don't need to ask you this, since I know you'll do this, but please look after Naruto-kun. He's a troublesome kid who will more likely than not drag you into all sorts of trouble. But beneath all that lies a kind-hearted boy whom I deeply care for," Hiruzen implored, his words carrying the weight of a grandfather's love and concern for his wayward grandson.

Flashback ended:

So Naruto will have his parents identities revealed to him after the chunin exam even if he doesn't become chunin.

But I have no intentions for that to happen, Naruto is proud representative of the lion clan so of course he'll become chunin.

"So you must be Hinata chan, last I saw you was just little baby" Jiraiya fondly said reminiscing when Hianta was born and he was invited to see her.

Hinata nodded shyly, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement at being in the presence of such a legendary ninja. Jiraiya's reputation preceded him, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at being chosen as his student.

"Yes, sensei," she replied softly, her voice barely above a whisper.

'Looks like we've got a lot to work on her confidence, give me a month I'll break her out of her shy and quiet shell.'

"Okay dear, come at me with the intent to kill. I want to see your level." Jiraiya said.

"I know you know waterwalking so we'll fight on the water so I can gauge your level Jiraiya said walking on the water.

As Hinata charged towards Jiraiya, her movements were swift and precise, a testament to her training and determination. She unleashed a barrage of gentle fist strikes, aiming for Jiraiya's vital points with precision.

Jiraiya, impressed by her speed and agility, expertly blocked and dodged her attacks, his movements fluid and calculated. He observed her technique closely, noting her proficiency in the gentle fist style and her ability to maintain her composure under pressure.

Despite her best efforts, Hinata found herself unable to land a solid blow on Jiraiya, who seemed to effortlessly evade her strikes. Frustration welled up inside her, but she refused to back down, pushing herself to the limit in her quest to prove herself to her sensei.

Then, in a sudden burst of speed, Jiraiya launched a counterattack, catching Hinata off guard and knocking her to the ground with a well-timed strike.

"Aw come on dear, didn't you say you want to defy fate. Looks like this is your fate girl." Jiraiya taunted her.

As Hinata stumbled backward from Jiraiya's counterattack, her heart sank at his taunt. She felt the weight of her own insecurities pressing down on her, threatening to overwhelm her resolve.

But then, something inside her snapped. A fire ignited in her eyes, burning away her doubts and fears. With newfound determination, she pushed herself back to her feet, her gaze fixed firmly on Jiraiya.

"No," she said firmly, her voice trembling with determination. "This isn't my fate. I refuse to let it be."

With a fierce cry, Hinata charged forward once more, her movements fueled by the burning desire to prove herself. Jiraiya, taken aback by her sudden resurgence, couldn't help but grin in admiration as he braced himself for her renewed assault.

Jiraiya claps his hand, "ok, that's enough. Hinata excellent job, you should be proud of yourself".

"Your taijutsu is excellent, but you lack the aggression as you made hesitated in some place. I purposely left my guard down several time to see if you would take advantage of it but didn't. You noticed all of them which means your observation skill is good, you should've used ninjutsu to help create you more opportunities". Jiraiya said getting Hinata mood down at her lack of aggression.

"So during this month I'll be teaching you my own personal jutsu, hair manipulation, a certain taijutsu style that will work perfect for you and strategic combat techniques".

"Um sensei my hair's too short, I don't think I'll be able to so the hair jutsu" Hinata said.

Jiraiya nodded, understanding Hinata's concern. "I see your point, Hinata-chan. But don't worry about that. This jutsu not only allows you to manipulate your hair but also promotes its growth, so you'll have plenty to work with." He reassured her with a reassuring smile.

Hinata's eyes widened in surprise, a glimmer of excitement flickering within them. The prospect of mastering a new jutsu and unlocking its potential filled her with anticipation.

"Thank you, sensei. I'm eager to learn," she replied, determination shining in her gaze as she prepared herself for the challenges and discoveries that lay ahead.

What Jiraiya didn't tell her was that he planned to push her out of her comfort zone by placing her in challenging and potentially embarrassing situations. He believed that facing these trials head-on would help her build confidence and break free from her shell.

Well, let me tell you about a discovery I made that completely blew my mind. It turns out that the Shadow Clone jutsu is, hands down, one of the most incredible techniques I've ever encountered. Why, you ask? Because when one of those clones poofs out of existence, all its experiences and knowledge come rushing back to the original caster. Yeah, mind-blowing, right?

So, picture this: I sent one of my clones out to scout for a boar, just a routine task. But things took an unexpected turn when the clone got trampled by the very beast it was tracking. Poof! Gone. However, in that split second before it disappeared, its memories and experiences flooded back to me, like a wave crashing over me.

Now, I'm not one to let an opportunity slip by, so I decided to run a little experiment. I sent another clone off to a different location, let it gather intel, and then dispelled it. And guess what? Boom! Instant download of all its memories and experiences. It was like tapping into a goldmine of knowledge.

Naturally, I had to push the limits of this newfound trick. I wondered if it could supercharge my training regimen. Lo and behold, it did just that. With a team of clones, I could cover way more ground, learn faster, and improve at an astonishing rate.

When old man Rakuro caught wind of my discovery, he got this mischievous glint in his eyes that sent shivers down my spine. With a chuckle, he remarked that training me was going to be quite the fun.

And let me tell you, it was a real joy for him, watching me struggle. But for me, it was pure torture. He set a strict limit of five clones a day, which meant I had to make every second count. It was exhausting, both physically and mentally, but hey, no pain, no gain, right? They helped me get the kata's down for the lion fist rapid but it didn't help me with my body. So gramps made me train my body intensely whilst they were going through the katas.

The worst part was dispelling them, the exhaustion hit me. Then he forces me into a spar with him, forcing me to do better. This was done by striking the spots that i left open, forcing me to learn on the spot by fixing my mistakes.

I will tell you one thing though in the afternoon the clones made my time on the wind style training much shorter to the point the point I was able to do both chakra nature exercise which consisted of me cutting down a waterfall.

Gramps then taught me five wind style jutsu which consisted of Great Breakthrough, Air Bullet, Gale Palm, Air Cutter, and Razor Shield.

Naruto grinned with newfound confidence as he reflected on his progress. "I'm confident I can break down genjutsu now. All I have to do is release my chakra, and the genjutsu crumbles away."

In his final week of his training, Naruto focused on practicing the lion summoning jutsu and getting to know the lion summons. It was during this time that he officially met the lion boss, Rakaros. Naruto couldn't help but glad that's he's part of the lion clan, I would not want to be enemies with them.

Rakaros is unlike anything I've ever seen,

He's not just massive; he's as tall as a mountain, giving off a ferocious and majestic aura. His mane glows like pure gold, and his fur is a deep, rich brown. And those teeth... They're so sharp, you wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of them.

As Naruto stood before Rakaros, the lion boss scrutinized him with a piercing gaze, sizing him up with a mixture of curiosity and skepticism.

"So you're our new summoner cub," Rakaros remarked, his voice resonating with authority.

Naruto couldn't help but feel a twinge of annoyance at being referred to as a cub. "What's it with them calling me a cub? I get gramps, I mean he's over 500 years old," Naruto thought to himself, struggling to mask his irritation.

"I don't see what's so special about this boy, except the amount of chakra he has. Look at him he looks quite dumb" Rakaros sneered at him.

But when Rakaros sneered at him, dismissing him as nothing more than a chakra vessel, Something attributed to the fox but no his skill, he couldn't help but get angry.

"What did you say you overgrown cat, I'll shove your head up your ass" Naruto shouted back in anger.

Rakaros let out a deafening roar, causing Naruto to involuntarily step back in fear. The lion's menacing glare bore into Naruto, challenging him to stand his ground.

But Naruto wasn't one to back down from a challenge, especially when his pride was at stake. "Listen here, cat. You've been doing nothing but mocking me. I'm the lion summoner, so show some respect to your master," Naruto declared, his voice ringing with defiance.

Rakaros chuckled derisively. "Master? Who do you think you are? A brat who can't even stand on top of me wants to be my master. What a joke!"

In a bold move, Naruto leaped onto Rakaros's back, refusing to be intimidated. "Oh, that's it. So if staying on your back makes me your master, then so be it. I'll stay here until the end of the day," Naruto declared, his resolve unwavering.

Rakaros regarded Naruto with a mixture of amusement and skepticism. "Okay, then. So be it. But don't blame me if you end up regretting your decision," he warned, a hint of challenge in his voice.

With Naruto perched precariously on Rakaros's back, the lion boss continued to barrel forward, his powerful strides carrying them across the rugged terrain. Naruto's grip tightened on Rakaros's mane as he struggled to maintain his balance, his heart pounding in his chest.

As they reached the edge of a steep cliff, Rakaros suddenly veered to the side, causing Naruto to lose his footing and tumble off his back. With a shout of alarm, Naruto plummeted towards the rocky ground below, his mind racing with fear.

Just as he thought he was about to meet his demise, strong jaws closed around his midsection, and Naruto felt himself being lifted back into the air. Gasping for breath, he looked up to see Rakaros's golden eyes staring back at him, a hint of amusement twinkling within them.

Then, darkness consumed him, and Naruto's consciousness slipped away as he succumbed to the overwhelming exhaustion and stress of the ordeal.

When Naruto finally regained consciousness, he found himself lying on the ground, the warm rays of the sun filtering through the trees above. Beside him stood Rakaros, his majestic form towering over Naruto as he regarded him with a mixture of concern and approval.

"You've got guts, kid," Rakaros rumbled, his voice deep and resonant. "I wanted to see if you had what it takes to be my summoner. And I must say, you've exceeded my expectations."

Relief flooded through Naruto as he realized he wasn't about to become lion food. With a grateful smile, he nodded to Rakaros, his respect for the lion boss growing with each passing moment.

"I'll be honored to summon you, Rakaros," Naruto said earnestly, his voice tinged with gratitude.

Rakaros let out a hearty laugh, his mane shimmering in the fading light of the setting sun. "Well then, consider me at your service, young cub," he replied, his tone warmer than before.

"I can see why you like him," Rakaros said to the elder.

"He's got guts reminds me of Ashina, although Ashina was less hotheaded" he said in laughter and the elder joined him.

I've got two awesome clan tattoos on my forearm. The tattoos on Naruto's forearms were a testament to his heritage and his journey as a shinobi.

On his left forearm, the majestic lion roared proudly, its mane flowing in the wind, representing his connection to the Lion Clan and the strength and courage it instilled in him.

On his right forearm, the Shinigami loomed ominously, its eerie presence sending shivers down the spine of anyone who beheld it. With a tanto gripped firmly in its mouth.

The Shinigami tattoo is a mysterious and powerful symbol, representing not only Naruto's encounters with darkness but also his lineage as an Uzumaki. Little does Naruto know that this seal holds secrets tied to his ancestry, secrets that will be revealed to him in due time.

When Naruto questioned Rakuros about the meaning behind the Shinigami seal, the elder lion merely smiled knowingly, promising that Naruto would learn the truth after the Chunin Exams.

When Rakuro made the tattoos he made them as storage seals and they're so good that you just need to channel chakra to them and they come out instantaneously.

"Well Naruto my boy today was your last day of training. Naruto Uzumaki you can be proud of yourself what you went through would make grown men trice your age run away and yet you didn't. I'm proud to have a summoner like you". The elder Rakuro said with pride patting his shoulder.

"Also after the chunin exam is done make sure to summon me my boy after all I have answer to some questions that I reckon you want me to answer" he said to Naruto who nodded.

With a sense of accomplishment swelling within him, Naruto stood before the elder Rakuro, his chest swelling with pride at the words of commendation. The elder's praise was like a balm to his weary soul, validating the struggles he had faced during his arduous training.

"Thank you, Rakuro-san," Naruto said, his voice tinged with gratitude. "I couldn't have done it without your guidance and support."

Rakuro's eyes twinkled with pride as he patted Naruto's shoulder, a gesture that felt both reassuring and encouraging. He then started to laugh "Bah ha ha, I think this is the first time you called me by name than gramps or demon during sparring even though I was going easy on you."

At the last comment Naruto could help but glare angrily at the old lion.

"Hinata I'm very proud of you, you've changed from shy, kind girl to a confident and kind girl. It was an honour being your teacher for the month" Jiraiya said to Hinata proudly looking over her achienvements.

"Thank you sensei, I don't think I could've changed much without you" Hinata bowed towards him with as much respect as she could.

Jiraiya then patted her hair saying, "come meet me after the chunin exam I've got a lot more to teach you".

'Naruto he's got a summoning contract to God knows who, sensei knows but won't tell me. I was planning on Naruto signing the toad contract, but sensei was right, and I was acting like a coward. I promise you Naruto I'll make it up to you something I should've done a long time ago.' Jiraiya thought sadly, to which he turned his attention towards Hinata.

'Hinata she'll be perfect for the toad contract after this I'll teach her how to summon and I'll make sure to take Naruto as my apprentice as well' Jiraiya thinking of his plans in the future.

"All right let's go get some food at Ichiraku ramen, it's been a long time since I've been there. I'm starving today training made me empty" he said laughing.

xxx

'Man I'm wiped out the tournament is tomorrow. I need to buy myself a new outfit my jacket and trouser are torn to shred, I'll do that after a bowl of ichiraku ramen.' Naruto thought running to the ramen stand.

As Naruto entered Ichiraku Ramen, the familiar aroma of steaming broth and noodles enveloped him, bringing a sense of comfort and nostalgia. It was a place he often frequented, a sanctuary where he could unwind and enjoy a delicious bowl of ramen.

To his surprise, he spotted Jiraiya and Hinata seated at a nearby table, engaged in conversation. Hinata's long hair caught his attention, cascading gracefully past her shoulders, accentuating her features and adding to her already radiant beauty.

"You look even prettier with your long hair, Hinata," Naruto remarked with a warm smile, genuinely impressed by her transformation.

Jiraiya, ever the observer, couldn't help but smirk at Naruto's compliment, silently acknowledging his godson's knack for charming the ladies. He noted with pride that Hinata's reaction, a blush rather than a faint, indicated her newfound confidence—a sign of her growth and progress.

As they enjoyed their ramen together, Naruto couldn't help but notice the change in Hinata's demeanor. She seemed more self-assured, her timidness replaced by a quiet confidence that he found endearing.

"You seem different, Hinata. More confident," Naruto observed, pleased by the positive change.

Hinata's smile widened at his observation. "You've changed a lot too, Naruto-kun. You're taller and more muscular," she remarked, her eyes silently ogling his body.

"You must have had a good teacher Naruto-kun considering all the training you had, who taught you for the month" Hinata asked curiously.

This got Jiraiya silent attention as he wanted to know who did his godson end up signing with as his summoning animal.

"It's a secret you'll find out tomorrow after the month". Naruto wanted to keep it as a trump card.

Naruto turned to Hinata and asked "what kind of training did you do, you've changed a lot."

Before she could respond, Jiraiya interjected.

Jiraiys then started to do a kabuki dance as he got into a pose. "For I am the Holy Sage of Mt. Myoboku - Jiraiya! The Great Toad Sage of the Hidden Leaf Village!"

"Hinata, did this guy really train you?" Naruto asked disbelief.

Hinata's soft laughter filled the air as she nodded. "He's a great teacher, Naruto-kun," she replied with a fond smile.

Their conversation flowed effortlessly, accompanied by the comforting slurp of noodles and the occasional laughter. As they finished their meal, Naruto reached for his wallet, only for Jiraiya to insist on paying for their ramen.

"Don't worry about it brat, just win your match tomorrow."

With a heartfelt thanks, Naruto bid farewell to Jiraiya, who announced his departure with a cryptic excuse. As Hinata couldn't help but feel disappointment at their conversation coming to an end.

"What are you going to do now Naruto-kun?"

"I need to get some clothes, my clothes are torn and shredded from training". he said gesturing at his clothes.

"May I join you for shopping" she asked.

'Hopefully i can spend more with Naruto-kun'

"Sure, I'll probably need help. Plus, people tell me I've got bad fashion style, I don't know what they're on about orange is cool".

xxx

As Naruto examined his reflection in the mirror, he couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at his new appearance. The black tight shirt hugged his form snugly, accentuating his toned physique, while the red spiral designs on each sleeve added a touch of flair to his outfit.

The light orange vest added a pop of colour to his ensemble, contrasting nicely with the darker hues of his shirt and trousers, with a bandage wrapped around his left thigh.

But it was the tattoos on his forearms that truly made him stand out, the Shinigami and lion on each forearm made him show formidable power.

All in all, Naruto couldn't help but think that he looked pretty cool. With a confident smile, he turned away from the mirror, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead with his newfound sense of style and determination.

'Wow Naruto-kun looks really handsome' Hinata couldn't help but admire how Naruto looked.

"Hinata you have really good sense of fashion, honestly next time I go shopping I'm inviting you every time." Naruto said making Hinata blush. 'Like a date' were the thought going through her head. Though one thing was going through her head was the tattoo.

"Naruto-kun where did you get the tattoo from by the looks of it, they look like storage seals" she said activating the byuakugan.

"Yep, they act as storage seals and well if you can keep it a secret well until tomorrow. I'll tell you". To which she nodded, affirming she'll keep the secret.

"The thing is I managed to become a lion summoner and for this month they've been doing but training me and as a proof of their summoner I got this tattoo. Doesn't it look cool" he said flexing his tattoo to her.

Hinata's heart skipped a beat as Naruto flexed his tattooed forearms, the intricate designs catching the light and drawing her gaze. She nodded eagerly; her curiosity piqued by his revelation.

"It looks amazing, Naruto-kun." she replied, her voice soft with admiration. 'Though isn't the lion clan one of the deva's the same level on the toads' she thought to herself.

"You know Hinata before you use to stutter a lot and was very meek and quiet. I like this new you a lot" drawing a smile from Hinata as she shouldn't help but be happy from a compliment from her crush.

"It's all thanks to sensei work and training he gave me for this month, the stuff he did to me was emabarassing I'm really glad I got to meet an train under him." Hinata said shoving all the compliement.

"Maybe, but it was you put in all the effort to change so you should be happy" Naruto said.

"Also, I wanted to ask how badly do you want me to beat up Neji, When I'm done with him I'm going to shove that fate stick up his ass" Said Naruto angrily, remembering what Neji did to Hinata.

Hinata spoke, "I knew that you were fighting Neji nii-san, Kurenai-sensei told me when I was in the hospital. I'm rooting for you, but Neji nii-san is family so please don't do anything that we would both regret."

Naruto stopped his train of thought as he looked at Hinata with bewilderment.

"But that bastard didn't just beat you up, he made you suffer! He put you down, disrespected you even! He trampled on you like you were just some bug! HE CALLED YOU A LOSER!"

Inwardly, Naruto was seething. He just couldn't fathom the idea of calling the one who stepped on you as family! Neji didn't deserve to be called that as far as he was concerned! Families were supposed to help each other, not bite each other's head off!

Hinata, however, never once looked put off from Naruto's reaction. She had somewhat expected that. She knew Naruto had no family, so he was having a hard time understanding that concept. For that, she felt sad for Naruto's predicament.

"Family is family, no matter how we look at it. Neji-nii-san wasn't always like that when we were much younger. He was much more cheerful. But there were circumstances that happened that changed him, much like how Sasuke-san was affected, and much like how you try to always avoid. That bitterness he carries is a result of his father sacrificing himself for my own father."

Naruto clenched his fist at that reminder.

"What happened to Neji's father?"

Naruto was willing to listen to what Hinata had to say just so he could understand why Neji was like that.

"It happened during a peace treaty between Konoha and Kumo…"

And so the tale began.

Thirty minutes later, Naruto was looking away, hands clenched into a fist as he stared forward as if he was looking farther.

"That cursed seal, how could they just do that? To their own family as well? Why would they do it? Why does it have to be that way?"

And now, he understood. Why Neji was a complete jerk, why he believes in pre-determined notions and a fatalistic point of view. He was simply acting out to the harsh events that lead him at this point.

"This stupid tradition is making me mad. I don't see the point of sealing people and making them feel like garbage."

Now he knew what to do. He knew exactly what he was supposed to do, he had more reasons to win this match now than ever before, he had more to prove to Neji than to himself. He was sure of it. When Naruto stood up, he looked back at Hinata and said with determination in his voice.

"One day, when I become Hokage, I will change the old ways. I'll change the Hyuuga, I'll change everything."

And his words made her feel lost once more. How could Naruto sweep her off her feet like that? How does he do things that make her feel completely and absolutely make her knees so weak that they feel like she was losing ground? It was completely unfair of how Naruto felt like a tidal wave and washed her away like that!

"Thank you Naruto-kun"

Hinata knew in her heart, he'll be able to do it.

'Naruto-kun just you wait I'll get stronger so I can fight by your side as equals. That's my new nindo' Hinata vowed to herself.

"So who would have thought, he would sign a deva contract. The lion clan." Jiraiys muttered to himself as watched Hinata and Naruto.

The instant he saw the lion tattoo on his godson forearm he knew that Naruto signed with lion clan.

The moment he saw Naruto and Hianta head off to the hospital, he made his way to the hokage tower.

"Sensei, Naruto's back and who would've thought that he would sign with the lion clan. Though I bet you knew this." Jiraiya said shrewdly looking at Hiruzen analytically.

"I do wonder how Naruto found the a book on summoning when it's supposed to be in the jounin section. Reserved only for Elite jounins." He said giving the hokage a hard look, who looked unfazed while smoking from his pipe.

"It's almost like someone put that book in a genin section and when I tried to find it it was mysteriously placed back in the jounin. It was you wasn't it sensei. Sensei why did you give Naruto the summoning book, did you know he would sign the lion contract" Jiraiya said looking.

"The village is at its weakest point it's ever been, Jiraiya," Hiruzen replied solemnly, his gaze steady as he met Jiraiya's questioning eyes. "We're facing threats from all sides, and we need every advantage we can get."

Jiraiya nodded in understanding, recognizing the gravity of the situation. He knew that Hiruzen had always put the village's safety above all else, even if it meant taking risks or making difficult decisions.

"How did you know he'll sign with a deva clan, no specifically the lion clan" Jiraiya said gazing at Hiruzen.

"Well he's an Uzumaki and some ways it could be an act of fate." Hiruzen said remembering Ashina Uzumaki.

"Very well, sensei," Jiraiya said, his tone resolute. "I'll trust your judgment on this matter. But if anything happens to Naruto, I won't hesitate to hold you accountable."

Hiruzen nodded in acknowledgment, the weight of his responsibilities heavy upon his shoulders. He knew that the path ahead would be fraught with danger and uncertainty, but he was determined to do whatever it took to protect the village and its people, no matter the cost.

Me and Hinata decided to go to the hospital and see how Lee is doing now. Along the way we met was Shikamaru.

"What are you doing here Shikmaru" Naruto asked him.

"Here to visit Choji, apparently he ate too much so he's in the hospital. I've got these fruits for no reason" Shikamru replied showing his fruit basket

Naruto outright laughed saying that sounded like Choji.

He then gained an evil smile saying "lets eating it in front of Choji, it'll drive him crazy".

"Man, that's evil, I like it" Shikamaru said gaining a smirk.

Hinata elbowed Naruto, then glared at them both saying "he's your friend, you shouldn't do that".

This got them both surprised, "she just elbowed me", "she just elbowed Naruto".

"Hinata you've changed a lot during this month, what did you go through". Shikamaru said curiously.

'What did she go through, she's changed so much before she would too meek and embarrassed to hit someone especially Naruto.'

Seeing the looks on them two faces, 'I've really changed haven't I. It's all because sensei putting me into those positions where he made me lose my temper'.

"It was a long month" her reply to Shikamaru who just nodded.

"Anyways were here to meet Lee, do you wanna join us" She asked politely.

"Yeah, why not. May as well see him considering I'm here" he said carefreely.

"Aggh" Gaara pressed His head tight in pain.

"Okay mother I'll give you blood" Gaara said having his sand move towards Lee.

He was about to crush him with his sand to stop the pain rattling inside him. When suddenly he found his body unable to move.

"I-I can't move" he then felt a kunai at his neck and hand pressing him at the back.

"What the heck do you think you're doing?!" Naruto asked with a growl as Shikamaru subdued Gaara with his shadows and Hinata ready to use gentle fist.

"I wanted to kill him…" he simply said as they stared wide-eyed at him.

'T-This guy is nuts, how can he say that so calmly while I've got him in my jutsu? This is bad…' Shikamaru analyzed.

"You already beat him in the preliminaries, wasn't that enough? What kind of grudge do you have against him now, when he's been crippled by you," Shikamaru asked as Gaara merely stared.

"I've got nothing against him…I was going to kill him because I wanted to," he said as Naruto, Shikamaru and Hinata gasped at his lack of empathy.

"What the heck are you talking about!? You're sick in the head, you know that!?" Naruto shouted as Shikamaru nodded.

"You must've had one messed up childhood if you can be so self-centered like that," Shikamaru said as he tried to analyze his opponent. 'Something is seriously wrong with this guy, if he starts something up we might not be able to stop him, and with Hinata here she might get caught up in the crossfire. Our best bet is to bluff our way out of this…' Shikamaru thought as he stared at the insane Sand Shinobi.

"If you get in my way, I'll kill you…" he said as Naruto glared at him.

"Listen, we know you're strong, but we're not bad ourselves. You haven't seen our special moves yet," Shikamaru said as Naruto blinked at the Nara but understood his plan.

"So, how about you just walk away, and forget all about this, okay?" Shikamaru bluffed as he really hoped his plan worked.

"...I'll say it again…get in my way, and I'll kill you…" he said with the utmost seriousness.

'T-This guy is insane!' Shikamaru thought as Hinata felt her heart race in fear.

"Listen asshole, you really don't want to mess with us," Naruto said as Shikamaru snapped at him.

"What the heck are you doing!? Are you trying to get us killed, he's totally out of his mind! Like he's a monster or something!" Shikamaru tried to reason with Naruto but Naruto only grinned.

"Well, he can act like a monster…but I've got a real monster inside of me…" he said as Gaara stared at him, while Hinata looked on with concern.

"...A monster…then you and I are the same…" he said as Naruto, Shikamaru and Hinata looked confused by the statement. "Because I too have a monster…inside of me…" he said as Naruto's eyes widened. "My birth was not what you would call a happy one…I was born into this world, taking the life of the woman I would've called mother…to become the ultimate weapon, the ultimate Shinobi, my father sealed the spirit of the sand inside of me…I was born as a monster…" he said as Naruto felt his heart race faster.

'A sand spirit?' Shikamaru thought as Gaara continued.

"Its name was Shukaku, believed to be the spirit of an ancient monk that became a demon…" Gaara explained as Shikamaru scoffed slightly.

"A demonic possession Jutsu, and to be used on a baby, that's insane don't ya think?" Shikamaru asked as Naruto merely stared numbly.

Naruto couldn't help but voice his thoughts out "You're a jinchuriki aren't you, your're from the sand so it's the one tailed beast". Remembering all the information he got on jinchuriki from elder Rakuro.

"ku ku ku, you're the same as me. I can tell from your eyes yet your still not the same as me" Gaara said smiling at Naruto, only to further scare him.

"Heh…that's a swell dad you have, sealing something so horrible inside of you. The guy must've really loved ya, huh?" Shikamaru interrupted as Gaara stared blankly.

"...Love?" Gaara spoke as if it was a foreign concept. "Don't measure me by your standard, your concept of love differs from mine. Do you want to know what kind of connection family means to me?" he asked as he stared blankly at them with little emotion. "They are simply pieces of meat connected by hatred and murderous intent. By sacrificing my mother's life, I was created to be the village's perfect weapon. My father taught me the art of Shinobi, I was spoiled and allowed to do whatever I wanted…I thought that was love…until…"

"Until what?" Naruto asked, having a dark feeling in his chest.

"Until the day I turned six years old, my father then ordered my own assassination for six long years…" he said with a crazed look in his eyes, as Naruto, Hinata and Shikamaru gasped wide-eyed.

"What!? But you just said your father spoiled you rotten!? Why would he order your own assassination and his own son!?" Shikamaru asked as Gaara merely smirked.

"...Once a being becomes too strong they become an existence of fear…My father and the village realized that I was 'unstable' and a problem for the village. I was to be their trump card, but the Kazekage, my own father, saw me as a dangerous threat. By the time I was 6, my father considered me a threat and tried to have me eliminated. To them, I was a relic of the past that they'd rather have gone…but I kept surviving, I kept on living. And I asked myself, why was I alive? Why did I keep on living? The answer eluded me for years. As a person, as a being, you need a reason to live. Without a reason to live…you're no better than being dead…" he said as Shikamaru was confused.

'I understand him, he's the same as me' he thought staring at Gaara shaking in fear.

"Until finally, I came to the conclusion, 'I exist to kill everyone besides myself'. I found relief within the fear of death, by killing others I found my reason to live. To fight for me, to love only me and to kill only for me. As long as there are people in this world for me to kill, I shall never cease to exist…" he said as Shikamaru, Hinata and Naruto stared in horror at the sand ninja.

'I was alone to, I didn't why I was here for and why I was alive. But then Iruka sensei found me, saw what was inside me and acknowledged my existence. I found my reason to live but this guy he was alone for all of his life and found his answer in killing. Could I have ended up like that if' Naruto started to breathe heavily.

When naruto looked in his eye 'I don't think I can beat this guy'. Naruto stepped back in fear gaining everyone attention.

"Her where you going, what wrong?" Shikamru shouted at narutoa as he never saw him fear anyone.

Gaara smirked at Naruto fear, sand erupted from Gaara.

"He shouldn't be able to that" Shikamru shouted.

Shikamaru and Hinata got in a stance ready to fight whereas naruto was still quivering in fear from his earlier words.

"Hey Naruto wake up, man what a drag." he said as Gaara shifted his sand into a spear shapes.

"That's enough!" they suddenly heard as the door opened and Gai-Sensei stood in the doorway.

"Gai-Sensei!" Shikamaru and Hinata shouted as they felt relief at seeing the bowl-haired Jonin, while Gaara flinched at the sensei.

"The Finals are tomorrow, so don't go acting up now, especially in a hospital. Or do you want to spend the rest of the Finals here?" he asked/threatened Gaara as the redhead grunted as his brain hurt. Ultimately, he relented as he walked out of the room. But not before he looked back at Naruto and glared into his soul.

"Just you wait…I will kill you all…" he said as he walked away. Gai Sensei kept his eyes on the door before he knew that Gaara was gone, before looking to the three genin.

"You three alright?" he asked as Shikamaru breathed a huge sigh of relief.

"Man Gai Sensei, I never thought I'd be so happy to see you. That guy is insane! I seriously think he wants to kill us," he said.

"Naruto-kun are you okay" Hinata asked Naruto gently placing her hand on back soothingly.

This got Naruto out of his shock "yeah I'm fine, I need to go" he said leaving in a hurry.

Shikamaru and Hinata left the room leaving gai with lee.

"What was all that about, I never knew naruto to be one to be scared?" shikamaru asked Hinata.

"This is the first time for Naruto, to see someone like him. I know you know that Naruto is a jinchuriki like gaara, it probably confirmed it for you when Naruto said he had a monster in him and when he said Gaara is a jinchuriki." Hinata said to Shikamaru who nodded.

Whenever Naruto felt sad or depressed, he would sit on the fourth Hokage head. He never knew why, but he always felt calm sitting there. Even after finding out the fourth Hokage was the one who sealed nine-tail fox in naruto.

'Gaara he was exactly like me, I wonder if Iruka sensei didn't acknowledge me that day. What would've happened to me. Is that why he's strong because he's all alone and only fights for himself'. Those were the thoughts going through Naruto head.

"Long day was it, Naruto" Hiruzen said startling Naruto.

"Are you okay Naruto-kun?" Hiruzen noticed the changes in Naruto.

"Yeah I'm fine just... no I'm not fine" Naruto was going to say he was fine but when he saw the look on the hokage, he thought he may as well tell the truth.

"What happened my boy?" Hiruzen said sitting down next to Naruto.

And so Naruto told him what happened.

"Let me guess, you're wondering whether you're strong or weak. Whether following Gaara's path means being stronger... Naruto you're the strongest person I know. Most people who would have endured your life wouldn't have been as resilient as you. And by strength, I don't just mean in jutsu or physical prowess. I mean in here," Hiruzen said, tapping Naruto's chest.

"You faced life alone, ostracized and marginalized, with no one to lean on. Yet, you persevered, always wearing a smile. Even when you discovered the truth about being a jinchuriki, you found it in your heart to forgive those who made your life a living hell. You see, Naruto, there's a vicious cycle in this world, a cycle of hatred. It's where one's pain turns into hatred, and that hatred breeds more hatred. It's an endless cycle. But you, Naruto, you broke that cycle. You turned your pain into forgiveness. And that, my boy is true strength. You may not realize it yet, but you possess the essence of true strength within you. And when you do realize it, that's when you'll be at your strongest."

"Thank you, grandpa." Naruto said to Hiruzen with tears coming down his face.

Hiruzen rose from his seat, his demeanor shifting into one befitting the Hokage, radiating authority and purpose.

"Naruto Uzumaki," he began, his voice carrying the weight of command, "I have a mission for you."
