Chapter 51: Getting The Van And Spikes

Sunny looked at the van as it parked. Cream white and plain, just what she needs. It was big enough for the money that they were going to take. It had been many years since she had taken a car. The driver decided to take a pit stop. He'll be using the bathroom and likely will fill up his coffee cup; should be a moment. Sunny tipped toed to the driver's side and inserted the rod underneath the glass. She maneuvered to the locking mechanism "Come on; open already" Sunny remembered that it would have been easier if she had broken the glass.

Then again it'd be suspicious to hear glass breaking, now wouldn't it?

"Okay, now we're in business".

Sunny quickly pulled out the wires out and wired the engine. She drove quickly away. The nearest Los Santos Customs was twenty minutes away. The driver of this van is probably going to wonder what happened to his van. Don't think his supervisor will be happy that the van is missing.

Los Santos Customs

"So I need this to be modded for a heavy load in the back, can it be done?" Sunny wondered "Yeah, must be quite a load" he says "Oh, you wouldn't believe it" Sunny pulled a wad of cash out of her pocket and handed it to the mechanic.

She stepped outside and pulled out her phone "Chelsea, I got that van. We need those spikes asap" "Right, I think I found where I can those spike strips. Just give me a bit".

The line turns off. Sunny looked at the nearby liquor store. With the sun beating down on her head she decided to get something to drink before she shriveled up. The wonders of being in a desert sand trap never cease to exist.

...

Her eyes watched as the squad car as it made it way into the bar parking lot. Chelsea observed the deputy as he went into the bat "Drinking on the job; what a bad example". Chelsea snaked her way to the squad car.

With the small knife Chelsea inserted it into the keyhole.

With some ease the trunk popped open.

Chelsea searched the trunk and eventually found the spikes "Oh perfect" she smiled. Chelsea grabbed the roll of spikes and hurried away. She scurried off in her Fugitive, she pulls out her phone "Hey Sunny, I got those spikes. Now all we need are those masks and those outfits, plus that cop car being rigged" "Alright, we just need those things and we'll be set". Chelsea turned at the intersection. That time to act is coming to a head. It was only a matter of getting that money that mattered.

...

Geraldine looked at the weapons that Sunny had ordered. She was impressed with them.

Sunny showed the picture of the Striker shotgun to her. To actually hold that thing in her hands amazed her. Geraldine had seen a lot of weapons in her time but nothing to this degree.

Sunny and Chelsea showed "Hey, took you long enough to get here" "Yeah, well we got those things. Let's see we got three days before this thing takes off" Sunny looked at the calendar on her phone "One step at a time". Chelsea pulled a candy bar out of her pocket "Should we test those guns out?" she chomped on the chocolate "Yeah, good way to release some stress" Sunny picked up the 417, she loads the magazine into the chamber. Geraldine and Chelsea grabbed their weapons, loaded up and joined Sunny "Bottle and cans right?" Chelsea asked "Yeah or we could shoot at Chelsea's trailer" Sunny joked "Or I shoot that spot between your eyes" Chelsea joked back.

They ready the bottles and cans.

They aim their weapons. And fire.

The cans and bottles are torn to bits. They chuckle at their destruction. Everything was fun to them once the rounds started to tore everything to pieces. Now the test quietly soon comes their way.
