================================= (A/N) So this is chapter 3 of the new rewritten version and I want to give my thanks to DoomSlayer027 for pointing out the height difference since this story is following the rebuild of Evangelion and not the original I am going to scale down the Eva and mazinger at least 10 meter short, so Mazinger height is now 50 meters tall and the Eva 70 meters tall
So without further a do let get on to the story ===================================
Shinji woke up with a jump, ever since he has gotten Mazinger Z people somehow found out who the pilot of the unidentified robot which is him, and he some how got some new followers
It's been a few weeks since the 4th Angel attack and he has gotten a lot of love letters from the school, some even tried to impersonate him which is not even close by the way
Shinji got up from the bed and did his daily routine, last week he was running away from the girls population of the school, after that he has to avoid a lot of fangirls trying to tie him down and get his babies, Shinji shook as he remember what happen last week
=================================== FLASHBACK ===================================
Shinji was on his way to school riding his motorcycle, making sure he followed the road rules he made his way to the parking lot and park his bike like he usually does
Walking to the school entrance he didn't know people were looking at him strangely, at the school gate he greeted Hikari, "Morning Hikari" Shinji greeted her "Morning Shinji" Hikari greeted back
Going inside the school he goes to his locker, opening it a lot of paper fall down from his locker to his feet, "what the hell" Shinji exclaimed looking down he pick up one of the letters
Looking at it he saw a heart shape in the middle 'a love letter?' Shinji thought he goes to look more in the small pile, 'all of them are love letter' he thought shock at how much love letter there is
He saw one hand writing of the Second beautiful girl in school, he then look around and saw some girls looking at him hungrily, some even has heart shaped eyes
Shinji creeped out by this run to his classroom not caring if his locker was locked or not, he sat at his table waiting for the lesson to start not caring if people were looking at him hungrily from the girls and anger or jealousy of the boys in the room
The first break Shinji was dragged by the girls to the closet and he experience hell, he barely made it out alive from those hungry girls that was ready to devour him, they even found out about his sleek and masculine six pack, the pure terror of Shinji face and the heart shape eyes of the girls will be forever in his mind
At lunch Shinji was sitting in his usual place on the roof he was eating peacefully until Toji arrived "Yo, Shin-man" Toji said to him, shinji just nodded at him "have you seen the video of you defeating the creature" Toji asked, Shinji nodded sideways, before stopping
"What?" His voice is dangerously low, Toji not caring about anything replied, "yeah, Kensuke recorded the fight you fought with that giant mech, it was awesome by the way" Shinji eyes glow eerily "really, wasn't that supposed to be a secret" Shinji said, Toji now seeing his face now scared and shivered "ye-ah, we didn't k-know it was s-supposed to be a s-secret-t" Toji gulped
"KENSUKE AIDA" Shinji just snapped and he was ready to pounce on someone, Kensuke in the classroom suddenly felt a shiver in his spine, before continuing reading the book called 'how to become a soldier for dummies'
=================================== PRESENT ===================================
And now he has to meet his father that he hadn't seen since he was 4 years old, Shinji was with his grandfather sitting on the couch, in front of them was Gendo Ikari Shinji father and besides him is a young girl the same age as him, she has white bluish hair and red eyes, this is Rei Ayanami half human half Angel, a clone of Yui Ikari in her younger days
Shinji recognized the girl she was always quiet in class and every time the teacher wouldn't notice she would look at the window and see the blue sky, and then he looked at his grandfather 'he looks disturbed' Shinji thought, that was right Juuzo Ikari was disturbed
He looked at Rei with such a disturbing look all he could see was his daughter in his younger days except she doesn't have white bluish hair, and she doesn't have red eyes every time Juuzo looked at her red eyes he looks disgusted
"Shinji how about you take Rei and play outside while I talk with your father" Juuzo said saying Rei in disgust, Shinji nodded and looked at Rei eyeing her to follow him and she does so leaving Juuzo and Gendo in the room alone
"You clone her!?" Juuzo said to Gendo his voice was furious "I did what was necessary" Gendo replied in his cold tone "What do you mean It was necessary!?" Juuzo replied furious "it was part of the Scenario" Gendo said
"She wouldn't want this she would want you to take care of Shinji your son!" Juuzo said "And what was I supposed to do I just lost my wife at the time" Gendo said Surprisingly using his emotions this time "she would want you to be strong dammit, and you just clone her for your own benefit radar then you take care of Shinji" Juuzo snarkly replies
"I am just here to negotiate the terms of Mazinger Z, I'll let you work for N.E.R.V and you and Shinji will be given privileges to create what you want" Gendo said returning to his cold tone
"And what makes you think I'll even join you?" The old man asked, "simple, Keel Lorenz I get to be reunited with Yui and you could Kill Keel Lorenz" Gendo said answering Juuzo question, Juuzo sat there quiet before answering "let me think about this give me a few days" Gendo just smirk at his outcome before standing up and leaves the room telling Rei to follow him
Shinji just sat at the living room of the hotel ever since his father left with Ayanami he felt a pang of jealousy when his father leave with Rei, it's no circumstance that a boy wants recognition from his father
Shinji walks to the meeting room his grandfather was in seeing his grandfather drunk and out cold on the table, Shinji sigh his grandfather only drinks alcohol when he was very stressed or he was being a pervert and the ladies rejected him, thinking about it it could be he was very Stressed
Grabbing a blanket from the drawer, he put the blanket on top of his grandfather seeing as there was no one other then him in the hotel, he decided to take a walk in the park
Keel Lorenz was a very patient man, he was patient ever since second impact accurd, He was patient when his Bestfriend Juuzo Ikari decided to leave the Seele Organization, Keel understand why Juuzo had to leave and it was to take care of his grandson he was fine he could respect that
But ever since he got the news from his spy in N.E.R.V that Juuzo Ikari created a robot known as Mazinger Z he was livid Ever since Juuzo found out that he Keel Lorenz wanted to become a God, Juuzo Ikari quit at the spot in front of his own face after losing his daughter a few days ago
Keel had always been afraid of death, that is why he kept experimenting on himself trying to age much slower or trying to become young again, that is why his skin is starting to become blue
Keel Lorenz walks to the operating room, inside there were some doctors and scientists, there are two corpse a body of a man and a body of a woman both half of thier bodies was decayed to the point of not working but the other half of the body works
"Who are these two?" Keel said with authority and curiosity, one of the scientists decided to speak up "we found them in one of the ancient ruins, we call them Indra and Eve" Said one of the scientist
"Could you make them into one body?" Keel asked, the scientist nodded before asking "what should we call them after forming into one body sir?"
"Ashura, Baron Ashura" Keel said before leaving the room, the scientist nodded and give a salute to Keel before he leave, Keel Lorenz was once a man who is afraid of Death but now he doesn't need to be afraid of it, he could embrace it and once more the man once known as Keel Lorenz will be walking on the path of Hell
Juuzo woke up with a jump, having a nightmare on his once best friend Keel Lorenz, He looked at his watch and it was almost 08.00 Am
He starts to hear an alarm, the alarm of an Angel Heading its way over to Tokyo-3, N.E.R.V HQ the command center of all N.E.R.V bases in the world was a fortress, the city of Tokyo-3 was repurposed as a fortress city having all the advancements of weapons in its arsenal and hear he was sleeping on the job
The man woke up from his nap to the sound of a blinking alarm, the man has long black and brown hair and has black eyes, This was Shigeru Aoba the second known as one of the members of the bridge bunnies and he holds the rank of first lieutenant
"Ma'am we have a confirmed pattern: ORANGE" Shigeru said to his superior, "Sound the Angel alarm and bring up online the Tokyo-3 Fortress defense and prepare to fire on my mark" Misato said with full authority
"Pattern confirmed BLUE, it's entering the city as we speak" Said another man this time wearing glasses, he has black hair and brown eyes, this is Makato Hyuga the third and final member of the bridge bunnies and he also holds the rank of first lieutenant, he is the technician of N.E.R.V
Misato eyes turn to slit, "the Angel is in the firing range ma'am" Shigeru said "Fire" Misato said one word and that was an order
Outside Tokyo-3 defense force came online and activated its fortress mode all the weapons of the fortress aim at the Angel before all the weapons lit up firing down the Angel, it's like man striking on god, missiles bullets flying everywhere and hitting the so called 5th Angel
The weapons stopped firing and waited, the smoke from the weapons fire was big covering the Angel, the smoke clears and the Angel stood unharmed by the attack of man
The Angel decided to have enough playing games by now decided to attack it's defenses so it won't bother him to be reunited with his Father Adam, the 5th Angel stretches its arm like tentacles and hit every single weapon in the Tokyo-3 defenses
The N.E.R.V bridge crew was panicking, shouts could be heard on the bridge "weapons offline" Somebody shouted "we can't get a reading on its attacks its way too fast" A woman shouted "Angel is continuing its route to the Geofront" Maya said "Send the First child to Unit-00 now! What's the status of the second Child?" Misato commanded and asked the crew "the second Child is on her way here" Shigeru, "the First Child is entering the plug as we speak" Makato replied
"Great send Unit-00 up then and get me comms to Rei now and get those weapons online" She said with command "yes ma'am" The bridge crew replied
"Rei can you hear me?" Misato said on the comms "yes captain Katsuragi" Rei replied "great I want you to hold that Angel until Mazinger Z or Unit-02 arrive you got that?" Misato ordered "command receive" Rei replied emotionless "Great, Unit-00 Launch" Misato ordered
Unit-00 was brought to the launch pad after receiving the command to launch, the launch pad launch Unit-00 to the surface bringing it a few meters from the Angel, the locks released letting go Unit-00 making it walk forward
Grabbing the rifle, Unit-00 started firing on the angel, the bullets got reflected from the 5th Angel AT-Field using its tentacles like arm it grabbed both arms of the Unit before launching itself to the unit,
Sending Unit-00 flying through the air and hitting several abandoned buildings, Rei grunted in pain before willing the Eva to backflip and put its hands on the ground trying to stop the Eva before getting up and charged at the Angel
=================================== BEFORE THE ANGEL ATTACK ===================================
Asuka was seen jogging at the park, looking at the bench she saw Shinji sitting on it, so she decided to greet him "Hello, Shinji" She said with confidence "oh, hi Asuka" He said with his voice low
"What got you so down" Asuka said snarkly "well today I met my dad who I haven't seen in about 12 years and hes not what I expected" Ohh she thought it was one of those, yeah Asuka Langley Shikinami was never the family type, yeah sure she wants to marry and have kids after this was all over but she was not the comforting type
"Well if it makes you better I haven't even met my dad" Asuka said before she realized she now makes things awkward "I make things awkward don't I?" She asked Shinji just nodded
"Well the point is you don't need to worry about your dad if he left you then it's fine that does not make you his son he left you for his own personal reasons why does he need you for" "To beat the angels" Ohh wait don't tell me he is the son of Gendo Ikari well shit what type of family dynamic is this she thought
"Well the angels do nee-" Before she could even finish her sentence the angel alarm went off signaling that an angel is coming, she then grabbed Shinji by the arm "well we have a job to do" Shinji just nodded opening his comms he said "Hover Pilder to me"
On the roof of the Hotel Shinji was staying at the Hover Pilder turn on by Shinji voice command and started flying toward him, 'look out angel' Shinji thought 'I am coming for you'
