Just imagine the Shinobi Alliance ship looking like a Japanese-styled Star Wars republic ship.

Oh, and one more thing: Yes, I know.

Feared Reverance

[Tyranny OST 21 – Sentinel Stand]

[1:1] For more than thousands of years, Humanity has fought between themselves seeking dominance over another. [1:2] They spilled blood for the sake of the thing that they loved, or for their pleasure. [1:3]In every settlement, in every human consciousness, fear was forever branded with the hot iron skillet made from their mortal life. [1:4] To be a normal man in such a time is forever to be clouded with the shadows of fear.

[1:5] Normal– a word that will never fit a Shinobi no matter how many times they smile, sing, love, or cry. [1:6] With every Shinobi being born, hundreds of civilian lives are guaranteed to perish in the future. [1:7] They possess the power that made them the master of the world.

[1:8] Yet; with all of that power and the riches that come with it, they are the greatest victims of this cruel-cruel world. [1:9] Their lives are filled with sorrow, hatred, war, and death. [1:10] Seeing their loved ones die one by one. [1:11] The power that made their kind the master of the earth is the one that made them stuck into a cycle– the cycle of hatred. [1:12] Torturers of their flesh, mind, and ilk.

[1:13] Then the two gods ascended, guiding humanity to break the perpetual cycle that has tortured humankind. [1:14] Guiding us until we leave our cradle. [1:15] The gods of light and dark: Naruto and Sasuke. [1:16] After defeating the vile demons Otsutsukis, cleansing the universe of their blight. [1:17] We are finally free. [1:18] Thanks to the gods whom we owe.

[1:19] Forget the past pain, anger, and shared trauma, forget the memories of mangled bodies of children and expectant women lying surrounded by burning villages, for there is only peace that is worthy for the stars to taste, and a golden path lightened by two gods. [1:20] A new beginning awaits us all.

End OST

High up on the mountains that touch the very clouds. Carved below it, a kilometer deep from sea level a meeting is held for 5 people– 5 people that are considered as humankind council of leaders. They are the five Kages. Each representing their respective faction only unites by one common belief of peace and prosperity. They all are equal, but to ease the governance of the alliance every 5 years a rotating leadership will be bequeathed to the leader of a member state. Consisted of Konoha, Kumo, Suna, Iwa, and Kiri.

Sitting in a semicircular U pattern position, the five of them sit with the designated leader in the middle and one detached desk surrounded by the Kages that are empty. With each Kage, two bodyguards are behind them watching diligently to protect the one they serve.

One of those Kages a black-skinned young woman with silver hair and yellow eyes, wearing a formal suit and earrings with the shape of lightning. She is currently glaring at the man in front of him. The man in turn merely smiles at her flashing some winks that irritated her even more.

"It's nice to meet you, Kodai-san," her glare only deepened when the red-haired man called him by her childhood name. A shortened word for small thunder (小雷). "Is there something wrong?"

She facepalmed hearing such a nonchalant response from the blue eye bastard. "What are you wearing Uzumaki?" She said with a deadpan voice. Exhausted at the usual antic her colleague and (forced) childhood friend is doing right now.

"Oh, this?" He presented his red and disheveled abomination of clothing, contrasting horribly with his pristine short red hair. "This is the traditional Uzumaki clan wear," he said with pride, "cool, isn't it!?" The black-haired man beside him had an amused look. The Uzumaki noticed this and offered his hand for a high-five which he received promptly from the Kazekage. The silvered hair woman could only give them a long stare with her lips pressed at the both of them.

"I have to agree with Lady Raikage, Lord Hokage. Right now we are in the middle of a serious situation, and we need your utmost attention." The Tsuchikage, a giant of a man, sitting in the middle of the table agrees with her.

"You too Boruda," he looked at Boruda, feigning the feeling of betrayal. And Boruda gave him a thumbs-up. "Fine." With a click of a finger, the red-haired Uzumaki clothing changed into more formal attire. "Does this make you happy Ko…" the Raikage glared at him "... I mean Lady Raikage?"

"I'm still amazed at how you managed to be selected to be Kage instead of your older brother. I wonder why he rejected the position." The Red-haired man's casual demeanor suddenly dropped. "Isn't that right, Yusuke? Usually, the Uzumaki is the one Hokage, sometimes it's the Sarutobi or the Nara. But a second son? Now that's interesting."

"I'll be Careful with my words if I were you, Inaba. You're maybe one of my childhood friends, but that doesn't mean you can slip your mouth," his tone is icy and she felt her spine tingling when the man with a pedigree of gods' blood purposely leaked his chakra. Despite her body screaming at her to stop whatever she was doing, her pride would never lose.

"I'm sorry your Majesty. I thought we were equal. Or am I wrong with that statement?" Now she's asking for it. Aggravating the 3rd strongest member of the Uzumaki clan which means strongest in Human space. Yet, she doesn't care, no matter how strong that clan is, she will always be like her predecessors before her to reiterate that the 5 members are equal even if she loses her life.

"That's enough from you two," a female voice cut through the tense situation like butter. Coming from a dark hallway that celebrated her sound. As she walked into the light of the meeting room Lady Kōgome appeared with a hardened face of a stern mediator wearing her Samurai Yukata. "Our civilization is on the brink of an all-out war and you two still manage to quarrel!" She glared at the two of them squinting her eyes to make a point. The rest of the Kage sat in silence trying their damn hardest not to laugh as she berates the two of them like they were kindergarteners. "For more than 350 years, Konoha and Kumo still cannot argue with each other. When will you two have that marriage alliance already," she sighed.

The marriage alliance was a proposal 100 years ago that was put forward by the rest of the five Kage and the acting lord of iron to quell the tension between Kumo and Konoha. Their tension was largely because of religious and political influence. The secular Kumo population refuses to worship the two gods as they find it idiotic to worship someone they found to be previously mortal; in addition to that, they are the most technologically advanced faction which makes them fervent believers in science. In contrast to Konoha, a deeply religious faction second only to Suna, their tech is in the middle of the pact with Iwa and Kumo beating them in that area, they make up for it with sheer military power. Their military alone contributes 40% of the alliance Jonins force, not to mention the absolute heavy hitter like the Uzumakis. Their tension was so high in the past that a civil war was about to break, only being stopped by the other Kages and the acting Lord of Iron.

There were many proposals to achieve reconciliation, some of them are normal examples: Infrastructure, economic integration, deepening ties between the two factions, etc. But some are absolutely maddening: Banning the Uzumaki from political office, good luck with that, enforcing the religion of light and dark which was refused immediately before it was even given to the five Kage. Facing a gridlock after months of debating, the council decided the public would decide by voting, an unprecedented move in human history as that's the first written record of democracy in all of mankind.

The election was tense taking place for months as humanity has never held an event this big to decide a public policy. At first, the 5 kage believed that the public would choose wisely picking the more sensible action like deepening governmental cooperation, and a common infrastructure plan but they forgot to account for one thing. The Sealnet was invented 14 years ago. Memes were everywhere promoting the most idiotic, archaic, and unthinkable option. Political marriage. The Kages, seeing the election result, reluctantly accept the result. Needless to say after that experience the chance of democracy happening in human space is close to zero.

"How many times do we both have to say it? We both refuse to acknowledge that vote to be legitimate. One of the few things I and Yusuke agree on," Yusuke gave a nod backing my statement. The only reason why both of them agree with this is that who are the subjects that are supposed to join the two factions. The strongest single, eligible, and single member of the village. Both of them filled in the criteria and both of them found marriage with the other to be unthinkable.

Boruda coughs to get the attention of the one inside the meeting room. "I think we stray too far from our original purpose to hold this meeting," he said, implying he would not accept any more nonsense from anyone. "I think we should start the meeting, Kōgome."

Wordlessly Kōgome sat at the middle desk acting her usual role as a mediator for the meeting. "The 395th Kage meeting has now commenced. First thing first let me report on what happened over 48 hours ago." She tapped her table channeling chakra to activate the seal. A colored Hologram of the Shanxi system appeared in the middle of the conference table. "As you know Shanxi was under attack by an alien force that previously attacked the research Flotilla." The image zooms in toward a gigantic megastructure near the system's outer asteroid field. "Anbu suspected it was the same species that constructed all the mass relays we have found or a successor state that has the same level or near level of tech." The Kazekage leaned in, shocked with fear by her statement. "I think we all know the implications of such a fact, do we?" Everyone nodded understanding the danger that they face.

Every human planet that is near a mass relay is fair game to attack. Not to mention the implications of such a system of galactic transportation entails. They are facing a galactic civilization with the possibility of having tens of thousands of planets. Easily outnumbering humanity that only has 250 planets under its belt. The flying Raijin FTL while fast is a pain to set up. It takes 10 years worth of accumulated chakra to make a ship travel to a star system without a mark and an extra 1 week to make a mark point for thousands of ships to pass daily. They could use the relay to travel and then set up the FTL mark but that runs the risk of running into a hyper-intelligent alien civilization, making the events that are currently happening right now a rather duh moment.

"30 hours later an alien force consisting of 1 destroyer, 2 frigates, and 5 Corvettes." The Alien force entered sub-light speed after exiting the relay. Making a beeline to Shanxi destroying every satellite and the Hologram turned into statics. "That's the last footage we have in the system besides the occasional photo that our ground forces take."

"Retaliation fleet?" asked Inaba, completely dead serious.

"The 7th, 8th, and 10th fleets are ready to go at a moment's notice," Kōgome answered. "With 20.000 troops ready to go."

"Is it completely necessary to commit more than half of our fleet to the battle? I fear that this will open more chances for the enemy to attack us in the other mass relays," asked Boruda, stating legitimate concern for humanity, for all they know these alien forces could just attack whenever they want by activating the mass relays inside human space. The core of humanity's worlds can be attacked in an instant without any appropriate force to respond to such a threat.

"Anbu considered the idea and found it infeasible if it would happen. The enemy doesn't know the exact location of our coordinates. But just to make sure the rest of the fleet will transport any civilian towards more defensible positions. They've also asked the 5 Kage to consider the possibility of enacting a war economy."

"Done. We'll prepare the necessary mobilization for the battle to come." Boruda saying what's inside every Kage's mind. "If our intelligence agency recommends it then we'll enact it. Especially at this kind of important moment in history."

"The Uzumaki would also add to that force," Yusuke added.

"The Uzumaki, Yusuke, not Konoha?" asked Inaba. "What will the Uzumaki give in this battle?"

"Well Kodai-chan," she twitched when he added the chan. "Looks like the Uzumaki clan heir is bored." That shocked all the members except Yusuke, who can just grin seeing their reaction. How can he not, his niece has quite a reputation. "I think we just secured a battle."

A vast muster field filled with men and women in uniform in a column formation marching towards the inside fleets of ships. Order from officers shouting their command and the earth tremor with 20.000 men stomping the ground like a well-oiled machine. Seeing the might of humanity armies is a lone teenager watching with fascination on a tall solar. All of these people are going to be his brothers-and sisters-in-arms for the coming battle. Working together to rid the invading Xenos that sullied their land and killed their people. The face of the young blond man is stoic, having an image of dead calm, but with one glance into his deep blue ocean eyes, you will know that the ocean is boiling with anger.

"No son of mine cannot reign his emotion," an all too familiar voice cut through the darkness behind him.

"Father." He greets him shortly and respectfully. His father ignored his courtesy walking past him to view the troops below holding the metal railings.

"Isn't it strange that the first time that I heard my son volunteering to join the retaliation force was from a lowly maid?" The son didn't answer his father's question. "Answer me Minato. I'm maybe weaker but I still can stop you from going."

"It is my duty, father. The honored ancestor will want us to be at the forefront of this atta…."

"Without telling me?" Minato shies away from his father's gaze. "You're heading into a warzone where men died like flies. Your mother is worried."

"Mother shouldn't have worried about me. I can handle it. I'm the strongest member of the clan. You know it, you've trained me to be the best." He knows that the right thing to do was inform his mother and father, he's just afraid that they'll both disagree with his action. The Uzumaki are powerful, sure, but flaunting them for the public to see is kinda politically problematic. They don't want the public to be afraid and have some wild conspiracy theories. A low profile is always preferable even if that is almost impossible.

" "Minato Uzumaki, named after the father of our gods. A genius, without peers." Does the compliment that was thrown at you since you were able to hold a kunai have finally clouded your judgment?"

"No father it's just a matter of fact I am the strongest."

"It is also a matter of fact that you are not the wisest." Minato winced at his father's words and all that memory of him being in detention came flooding in. "Now how is it that you find yourself coming to a conclusion to not inform your parents that you'll fight on a battlefield?"

"When the news of the attack came…" Minato diberted his eyes to the ground embarrassed at the words he' going to say.

"You just jumped the gun without thinking. I'm not even surprised." There was a meaningful silence as the man was shined by the setting sun, his eyes gaze back at the muster field below. "When I finally leave this world it will be your turn to be the king, my son. I can't have you doing this unwise action anymore. Promise me when I leave this world you'll grow up."

"Father. Don't talk about such an ominous word, while your body is betraying you. You still have some strength that can kill a kage with ease," he tried to change the mood," besides I'm not going to be a king, merely a clan head."

His father snorts at his remark, "You clearly understand that we Uzumaki is the true ruler of mankind. No matter how the five kage think that they have control over us. We are the true shadow that has guided mankind for hundreds of years."

"I know, father. I just think it will be a good idea for us in the future to give them a chance." While it is true that in the past blood has been spilled and violence reigns supreme now it is in the past. Humanity has experienced an unprecedented time of peace and prosperity. The image of a war between men is unthinkable.

"There is a reason why we are in control, Minato," his father approached him tapping Minato's forehead. "Our intellect," he pointed at Minato's two blue eyes. "Our eyes can see the truth that others cannot." he tapped at Minato's chest where his tenketsu is supposed to be. "Our inexhaustible Chakra, and finally," he tapped his heart." We are incorruptible with power. Without us, the five Kages will squabble."

"But can't we at least trust them?"

"No. Humanity has its chance before chakra comes to earth for thousands of years without guidance they've failed. I will not see the future our ancestors have created paid by their blood being destroyed by some misguided optimism." This is one of the times when he hated his father the most, being paranoid and always focusing on what the ancestors would want rather than seeing a better future. "Is that clear Minato?"

"Yes. father," even with all of that heated debate, he couldn't bring himself to disobey him. His father is weaker than him, and even if he can defeat him with ease, respect comes first before power in the eye of the young Uzumaki, and he extremely respects his father. His father no matter how flawed he is tried his damn hardest to be a good father and ruler.

"Good. I now have a meeting to attend. I wish you good luck, my son." in a yellow flash the older man disappeared. Minato hearing the loud footsteps of men and women now becoming less louder thought it was his cue to enter his transport ship. Using the same method as his father in an instant he was transported to the bridge of the largest ship. The bridge crew that noticed him teleporting immediately saluted him and then returned to their work. One of the officers gave him a report that detailed the progress of loading the ship.

"Sir," the man saluted wearing a white navy uniform with patches of red on his shoulder, seeing his rank Minato could see he is an admiral of the entire counterattack fleet.

"Admiral Yamamoto, it's a pleasure to work with you once more. How's the status of the fleets?"

"The 8th and 10th fleets are already waiting at the gateway. They're waiting for the SSV Uzumaki and Uchiha to be done loading the supplies and troops." Trying to supply the only two dreadnoughts the alliance has is hard with how many personnel and troops it can carry. So the news that the 7th fleet, the golden child of the navy that has the only two dreadnoughts the alliance has lagging behind, isn't that surprising.

"Good job admiral. I leave the job of commanding the space aspect to you." Minato, while a brilliant shinobi, is no fleet admiral. He is smart enough to know that some people are more competent than him in some aspects.

"Very well then, Lt. Retno, order the fleet to ascend," he gave his command to one of the bridge officers that followed it without complaint. At the same time, all the Corvettes to Dreadnought class ships ascended at the same time. The sky is filled with warships being guided by tugboats so the ships don't collide with each other. As the window turned from blue to black Minato is greeted by more ships that were patiently in front of a giant golden seal. The smaller ships were first to be in line followed by bigger ships to have efficient teleportation. "Minato, it's your turn."

Minato walked forward, walking on the stairs to stand on a raised platform. He gathered his chakra on his chest and transferred them to his eyes. Closing them he put his hand toward the golden seal his eyes shot open. The eye of samsara glowed and the tomoe that dotted his eyes spun. "Flying Raijin: Teleportation Barrier!!!" He clasped his hand and an enormous gate made out of pure chakra glowed and slowly opened. Minato Chakra is visible to anyone that is on the bridge of the ship; some pray while others watch in awe as Minato executes the Jutsu by his lonesome without tapping into the ship's chakra reserve without even being dazed or tired. Slowly but surely the fleet entered the giant transportation gate in a continuous stream.

At first, consumed by a dark void in seconds the ship emerged on the other side. The smaller ships that were sent first are in a tense staring contest with the Xenos force who looks like they just manage to ferry ground troops planetside.

"How many Lieutenant?" the admiral simply asked, he is focused on the enemy in front of him.

"Sensor detected that we have a comparable amount of forces with the enemy as their number is 220 ships, sir," the lieutenant answered professionally. "What are your orders?"

"Tell the landing force to get ready to touch the ground!" Ordered the admiral. "Minato, I advise you to get into your transport ship," Minato smirked, which made the admiral have a bad hunch, "Please don't. Your father is going to kill me if you do this again," he complained.

"Then just don't write it in your report." Minato walked away from the bridge to find the nearest hatch, not hearing the old Admiral screaming something about the Anbu having eyes and ears everywhere. Finding one near the ship's escape pods he can't help but feel excited. "This is going to be so cool."

Sorry for the cliffhanger.
