Feared Reverence
[Standardized human date: March 30, 2536.
Citadel-Amateur reporting program The Sans
"Good morning Citadel!." The cheerful and smiling Asari, Sanara appeared on the screen.
"It's been two days since the Peace Treaty between the Citadel and the Alliance was signed. And today we have our special guest Chomoro Akimichi once again!" Sanara screamed with emotion.
The image has changed to a familiar human since his last appearance on the show.
"Kon'nichiwa to everyone, I'm happy to be back and even more happy that you want me back here." Chomoro bowed briefly in thanks.
"Of course, we are happy Chomoro, you were very kind when you offered to perform on our little show, of course, you are a great source of information about humanity, the hottest news from across the Galaxy," Sara answered.
But the truth is, even though it's only been two days since humanity signed a treaty with the
Citadel, nobody still knew next to nothing about them, which made the interview with Chomoro very important. And the Sans News program was small and had few viewers, which changed after the interview, they were now one of the most watched channels, the only one that managed to get an interview with a human before even the biggest official news channels had an interview with any human.
"Thank you but I wouldn't say I'm a great source of information, I'm only human and I was allowed to come here, my captain thought it would be good for someone to provide information and your program was the perfect choice."
The hosts were stunned that their show was 'Pitch Perfect', they didn't know why but they wanted to know.
Sansa couldn't sit still and asked. "Perfect choice, why would we be a perfect choice? There are channels much bigger than us, we are a small and very young channel, but why would you choose us?" Chomoro was pleased with the casters' confused expressions.
"That's because one of you is the reason I'm here." he turned and looked at Sanrus. The dark-colored salarian was not in the last interview, but now she had a surprised face looking at everyone and then pointed to herself as if asking 'Are you talking to me'.
"The reason I'm here is because of your interview with my captain, among all those reporters he noticed that you were the only one who asked the right questions, you were interested in the real events and you had no problem saying that The attack on the research ships in Relay 314 was an action caused entirely by the turians, much like the invasion of Shanxi, amidst unimportant matters such as what was the latest fashion in clothes or whether we like the food at the Citadel."
"It means I was just doing my job, no big deal." The Salarian responded extremely embarrassed, looking at the human in front of her, until she realized something. "But wait, I asked those questions when the ambassadors addressed the Council camera, could your captain hear me with so many reporters?"
"Yes. Captain ChoKuma has very good hearing and can distinguish voices even amidst a cacophony of voices and he could see that you sounded like someone interesting after the meeting with the advisors, he looked for you and managed to find you. He has a good memory for faces too, he saw your show and broadcast on the day of the board meeting, so he asked me thinking it would be a good idea for us to interview as the channel looked promising.
"This is truly an honor..."
"WAIT! Did you say Captain ChoKuma as Ambassador ChoKuma?" Sanara shouted, interrupting Sanrus' answer, who looked at her friend upset at being interrupted.
"Exactly, it was Ambassador Chokuma who recommended me to do this interview."
Before the presenters could say anything, an announcement sounded backstage indicating that the break was about to begin.
"Okay, these discoveries are amazing. But don't worry, after the break, we'll start taking questions from viewers that will be answered by our guests. So send us questions and we'll answer as soon as we get back, see you later at the Citadel. " Sansa said, and the screen went blank.
...
The camera that was previously off filled with colors and focused again on the recording studio where the journalists and Humano were waiting for the return of the program.
"It feels like we're back from the commercial. Welcome back to our show The Sans, where my colleagues Sanara and Sanrus and I have an exclusive interview today with a member of the newest species to make the Citadel." Sansa greeted the viewers as the show resumed.
"As you know our guest Chomoro, I agree to answer the questions you sent in the commercial break, I would like to say that we received a lot of messages and for everyone to have a chance, each viewer should only be entitled to two questions answered and if yours not showing up is because you've exceeded the question limit or you've submitted a repeat question that's already been answered."
"The first question we had was from drawbear89, let's put the question on the screen behind us to read it with you all." Sanrus declared turning with everyone in the room to the large screen that was located behind them.
by drawbear8. What is your religion about? or what is it based on? [Author's note/ a Hanar probably]
March 30, 2536. - 1:30 pm • "
"Ah! Good question, I would also like to know what your Chomoro religion is like?" Sanara is eager to find out and everyone in the studio has fallen silent, curious to know more about the humans.
Chomoro thought well how he could answer this question without providing as much information as Captain ChoKuma ordered, he had to be honest but also vague about certain matters. Religion was not one of them, more information about the two Gods. Yes, he could say that the two gods were real and that one day they walked the earth until they were enlightened to be deities, this allowed the xenos would probably think that humans only deified two figures very important in its history.
Mention of the truth was forbidden, the Xenos couldn't know that the gods were alive and that humans had a way to communicate with them in their private dimension, where they kept together with all their decent and other humans who also raised to a godlike state were protecting humanity awaiting the return of the vile Otsutsukis.
So a short answer was the best option. If it was something normal a longer answer would be fine." I think it's better to start the explanation by saying the name first. The religion that humanity follows is called the Path of Enlightenment with the worship of the two Gods. They would be the God of darkness and the God of light. It is based on our life choices and which path we choose to follow, whether they are darkness or light. "
"Do you expect darkness or light? Like good and evil." Sanara looked at him blankly, waiting for an answer.
Chomoro started to laugh after hearing those words." Haha sorry that seeing it from your side the path of darkness does not have a very attractive name, but I can assure you that it has nothing to do with being 'Good or Evil' The well-known quote: ''What doesn't kill you makes you stronger'' defines a lot of the path of darkness as an ideology, they believe that our passion, our hatred and our desires that feed one's strength. "
"Conflict forces a person to improve himself. It forces change, growth, adaptation, evolution, or death."
Sanara frowned, that was quite an extreme posture, but then again, not entirely false. "The Path of Light believes that when there are no resentments and negative emotions, there is peace. When there is no ignorance of the past, we know to not repeat mistakes."
"Fascinating. I can understand your ideology a little better now," commented Sanrus.

[Editor Note: He is a stereotypical Salarian with how many questions he's asking.]
"We have many sports, but I can give two examples of the most famous ones, the first would be Football, a sport played between two teams, each with 11 players, who use their feet and head to move the ball towards the opponent's field, to put it inside the goal or goal. The match is divided into two halves of 45 minutes, with an interval of 15 minutes. All Humans can play, from children to older humans."
[Author's Note/ It's very similar to the way they play with another anime called inazuma eleven, where they use jutsus for many attacks.]
"The second and most popular would be Running which is related to different aspects of humanity, whether as a form of recreation, festive ritual, or sport. My favorite sport is endurance running. It is a long-distance run, usually over 10 km. Half marathons and full marathons can also be considered long-distance. The range of distance covered is the main differentiating factor between endurance running and middle distance running."

"Child soldiers?" Chomoro's outburst of confusion quickly dissipated as he understood. "You must be referring to the Genin, which are ninjas who have just graduated from the Academy and usually receive D and C Rank missions. Centuries ago when humanity was at war, the genin were also sent and to be specific, a genin is a student ranging from 10 to 13. But like I said it was centuries ago, nowadays the most they do is retrieve someone's pet to earn a small reward."

Medical jutsu vs medical technology?
[Author's Note/Probably Volus]
March 30, 2536. - 2:26 pm•
(By atengawchok)
" This is a bit difficult, some people would say that Medical Ninjutsu is better than technology and vice versa, I think it just depends on personal opinion. Medical Ninjutsu is a branch of ninjutsu associated with healing, in addition to manipulating one's own body, or the body of other people, to create and regenerate tissue or restore other more specific injuries. It is practiced by the Iryō-nin( literally means: "Medical Ninja"). The use of this type of ninjutsu requires very good chakra control. good, as well as extensive knowledge about things like herbs, medicine, the human body, and even poisons. Therefore, not all doctors can have such good control of Chakra, so our medical technology is very important and encourages more and more search for new forms of healing without the need for Chakra."

"Yes, a Kage is the leader of one of the five villages and is generally recognized as the most powerful ninja in their respective villages. Once a ninja becomes Kage, usually by a predecessor, the title remains with that person for the rest of their life. Citadel Hospital - Saren
The Citadel Central Hospital was the biggest and best hospital in the entire station and also the most expensive. In a stark white room filled with beds were the surviving Turian soldiers from Shanxi who managed to escape before their forces were routed.
Saren watched the holographic news and sighed in sadness. His hierarchy, the pride of the citadel's navy, had made stupid choices and were now being portrayed as the villains of history (even though they were) and now his brother Desolas and his friend Victus were presumably dead. And his platoon too.
He and Victus were best friends, there was Murer from the outer colonies who always jokes about the most dire situations with his dark humor. The Vakarian officer who planned to join C-sec as soon as he could get out of exercise always showed everyone the holos of his son Garrus and his wife who was pregnant again now with a girl. Gladys, who everyone agreed was a bit crazy but was the kindest soul in the entire platoon, who was extremely unhappy with the actions they were taking in invading that planet on the orders of an idiot superior officer, had more to do since, he, a good Turian, always followed orders, even if they were bad orders. All those young Turians were slaughtered on the planet, and he had no power to stop it.
His thoughts strayed to the pain he felt in his arm and he turned his head to look at him. Where his arm had been, there was now a cybernetic replacement. Ripped off by a flaming sword, which probably saved his life if the blade hadn't cauterized his wound, he would have bled to death before he was evacuated from that accursed world. He took a deep breath, shuddering.
Then Saren heard the other patients discussing the transmission.
"It's ridiculous how the Hierarchy, the most powerful navy in the citadel, can bow to a bunch of primitive bandits." another Turian in the room snarled.
Then more voices joined in mocking the weakness of the council that was all but bending to do the humans' bidding. Calling them barbarians who killed good soldiers.
Saren turned her mind to remember again those she lost without caring about this discussion until she heard what one of the soldiers said.
"Worst of all, the Primarch and Councilor Spartacus are calling that traitor Desolas a hero." Saren snapped out of his thoughts, furious at how Desolas was being called upon to essentially save lives.
"Yes, I couldn't believe it when I found out that a general like Desolas would betray his people for those Alliance monsters!" Another Turian also began to slander his brother's name.
Saren felt the anger invading him, but he kept control, knowing how much it could affect him while he was still recovering.
And then an argument started with some Turians started to defend Desolas, they were few compared to the attackers.
"You're an idiot, that was it, or I'd let our people die and you'd throw all council space into the war! Is that what you want?" A young Turian shouted in defense.
"Of course not, but it wouldn't be a war, but a glorious victory for us, Turians! And instead of allowing that to happen, Desolas betrayed his entire race!" another declared, his tone full of malice.
"He and the others who accepted this must die in the gutter where you belong too, traitor!" Another screamed.
"Don't worry about it, the spirits already took care of it and that traitor is already dead." The first Trurian who started it all said laughing with the others who followed.
Hearing this made Saren's hatred grow, her parents, her brother, her family were more loyal than all of them put together.
His family was relatively ancient among Turian families and their ideals were the same. Serve the Hierarchy; was what his father always said. And his brother did this until his death, and now he was treated as a traitor to his people when he acted to save lives. This made him sad but mostly pissed him off. If Desolas hadn't done this, how many people would be dead? How many people, ships, and worlds on both sides would be burning?!
The words of his comrades were misplaced and wrong. Saren shot against her Biotics blast. "Listen well you scum, the next time you open your mouth to talk about my brother, then I will finish the job humans were taught and rip your head from your body, you understand," Saren growled as he increased the pressure of his power even more until the man began to cry apologetically.
So he lets go and I walk to the exit wanting to escape those ungrateful people who would be dead now if it weren't for his brother's choices.

[Standardized Human Date: March 24, 2536. The day before the release of the Turian prisoners.
The Turian prisoners camp
The Turian camp in Shanxi was turned into a POW camp after its surrender, but not in the way the Turians had hoped. They expected to be abused, their pride trampled on, and their personal effects were taken, leaving them with little more than the bare minimum of clothing and little or no food.
Instead, the Alliance established a perimeter around the camp, the Turian weapons were all stockpiled, and that was it. No guard tried to harass them, they had a strict doctrine, exact patrols, and inspections, so that there was no abuse in the camps.
They were also not forced to act like prisoners and roamed freely in their camp as long as no one tried to escape. Each day after the surrender, more surviving Turians were returned to them, wounded in combat, or scared, but whole and as healthy as they could be in a war zone. A few days later, surprising those few high-ranking tTurianswho still lived and joined together to maintain leadership over their men, the human in charge of the camp allowed them to continue not to try to escape.
It was strange, the Alliance, as the Turians had learned their organization was called, had fought like monsters, but now that they had surrendered, they had barely seen any show of strength against the Alliance Turians, and as they approached the perimeter of the camp, they were compelled to return, in their language! How could they create a translator so fast?
However, there was a problem that quickly became apparent to those in charge, and that problem was that many simply stopped caring, spending their days loitering and getting up only to eat. Their minds were broken by the horrors, particularly in the younger bands of Turians, who had never seen death up close.
This continued consistently, regardless of how much higher-ranking officers tried to stop it, as long as they surrendered. Many were now beginning to think they would die in captivity, until one day, an Alliance Officer appeared at the Turian camp.
The human-made his way to the middle of the camp where the stage was used by the Camp
Director to inform all the Turians.
Nearly all of the Turians rushed to the center of the camp to hear the information, the human waited among a large crowd and stood there for a few seconds before shouting in perfect Turian. "I have important news for all of you to hear! I'm here to let you know that our contact with Citadel was successful. Your camp is to be packed immediately. Once it's packed, we'll begin transporting your people, belongings, and equipment to one of our ships and bring your people to the citadel!"
The Turians were simply happy with the announcement. They were going home, they were finally leaving this place!
Then shouts from everyone asking how long until they can leave.
"The ship in charge will arrive in the system in about four to six hours and wishes to depart for the citadel immediately. I hope we can have all your personnel organized and on board by then."
More screams spread through the camp; they were going home.

Captain Kazama was standing there staring into space as he was lost in thought. Until he heard a female voice calling.
" Kazama, why are you still here alone.?" Kazama looked at the woman beside him and smiled gently at her.
"Are you worried about me, Lady Nara?"
"Just call me Shikako, Kazama. You know I don't like to be called so formally. To answer your question, yes, I am. Tell me what's on your mind."
"Thirty-one of us survived. Many others on the science ships don't and those names weigh me down. I remember each one of them. Callan never got to see his newborn daughter. He was supposed to be on a ship going home on leave. Instead, he felt like he was abandoning his brothers and he snuck aboard the ship. Yura was supposed to get married when we got back. Chu Lee was about to retire. Colba, Lanha, Young, and Rojer were on their first non-basic mission. Sue was in the last year of her contract. Gabi was studying to be an engineer. I think he was the smartest Marine I ever met. Karan was a comedian. He loved jokes. Mateo was about to go on leave for his twin brother's wedding. mak had just returned to active duty after growing his left leg. Soo-Yeon was an excellent chef who was saving up to open a restaurant. Hina was a sweetheart. I wanted to introduce her to my brother. I thought they would get along. "
Shikako was silent as Kazama spoke. The weight of his words showed the pain the man was carrying and it broke his heart. the survivor's guilt was debilitating, even after all the advances in medicine.
"You are not responsible for their deaths, I am much more responsible for wanting to study the relays," Shikako said, lowering her head in defeat.
"I know I'm not and neither are you." The weight of Kazama's words made Shikako look at him sadly. " I know that now. But sometimes the head and the heart don't communicate so well. And I'm sorry if I made you think I blame you for this I guess I'm a work in progress." He approached the woman holding her face and wiping the tears that fell her face gently."
"Do you think it's not my fault?", Shikako's voice was hoarse with emotion. She tended to wear her heart on her sleeve. She was unfailingly honest. But that's part of what made her who she was.
"Of course not you opened the relay but before you, many other people wanted permission for this. Don't blame yourself if that happened you didn't know that on the other side there would be someone who would just attack without any provocation. It's not your fault." He hugged her tightly wanting to take away her sadness and also wanting to be hugged by someone.
After several minutes of the two huggings each other, they calmed down and started talking about their next mission.
"How are you feeling about Kazama being the new captain of White Lotus?"
"And I still don't know But I think I can get used to it."
"Kazama, tell me why you accept this mission to take the Turians."
Looking at the woman's worried face, Kazama took her hands and squeezed them, bringing her closer and hugging her again.
"I took on this mission because I was angry and anger eventually gave way to hate, and hate is a strong emotion. I don't want to hold on to that emotion. I don't want to live my whole life with hate in my heart. I want to fill it up." with other things." He looked at her so deeply.
"That doesn't mean I'm not angry or that looking at them doesn't remind me of the people I've lost, but I won't let that feeling blind me. I want to move on, so I accepted this mission. I'm going to the end. I want to close this cycle in my life."
"I think you're right You really are stronger than I thought I might as well move on filling my heart with hate won't solve anything."
"Well I think it's time to work, are you coming?" Smiling at her and breaking the hug he held out his hand and she caught him smiling back.

"It's a surprise he managed to survive even with all these injuries. Your grandson liked him. Tell me why are you still keeping him alive. I'm sure you got as much information as possible. Why don't you let him die." The other mysterious figure smiled which made the first one shiver who always found it scary when he did that.
"We got all the information we could but letting him die was a waste. We can do a lot more with him alive and besides everyone thinks he's dead so the general could be very useful to us in the future."
"It's okay if you think so then let me know if anything happens to Orochimaru." The man said walking away.
Orochimaru looked around the room again. "You will be very useful to me, General Desolas."
