A certain Bowman was the first to finish the questline and receive a blessing. It took him a month but he managed it.

Using the shared knowledge and his perfect hand-eye coordination, he succeeded and received the prescience skill from Kthanid, both him and his character did.

The experience was otherworldly. It was like being born again. Said bowman felt like something changed in him and it proved right when he went to training. He could "see" were the targets would move before shooting no matter what. Even if they had random movements, he could see where they would be. It never failed.

At first it was disturbing almost like seeing two images at once but for some reason he was almost okay with it.

The doctors could not explain it and after examination did not find anything different with Bowman.

The second to finish was a young teenage girl from Spain. She received the astral projection skill and just like the first, she could use it in real life. The government tried to have her "disappear" but the medias were all over her as she managed to prove she could do it by reading a text in closed box while standing in front of hundreds of people.

They then tried to arrest her as she was a "security risk" but the medias jumped on the opportunity to attack the current government for trying to experiment on a young girl to gain her power.

The medias statement was followed by violent protest around the country and the current government resignation in front of so much rage.

Around the worlds, others came out with their powers. Most first fled to more accepting countries such as the UK or Canada, others silently disappeared, just like it almost happened in Spain.

This new development had other effects. Mutants around the world felt less different. They now saw people proudly displaying their differences. They still were hiding but now they had less fear about the future. If people did not fear this new powers, why should they fear mutants?

What everyone missed were those able to use the banishing blast. They did not dare use it on people as they did not know what it would actually do. In the game, the monster would just be sent back to their spawn location or starting point but what could it do to humans?

They did not want to find out, even if they were really curious about it.

After a while, and it was a surprise, the world finally understood what these game was about and with it, fear as well as hope. The voice about the abyss was concerning but a "good" elder god protecting you? Let's just say a new religion was starting on the work of Lovecraft.
