The hunt for the creator was proving difficult. Whoever was responsible for his capture had covered his track well. For all the legion manpower, they made few advances in his localisation.

Nonetheless, they never stopped. They could feel him, reassuring them, stroking the fire of their faith with his loving hand. Even those that questioned his power felt him touch their spirit and because of this, they hoped, they dared believe in all that was told about him.

Yet, maybe because of his touch, they uncovered the rot in their order. Some of them, brother and sister, dared to use his gift and betray him. At first, a few showed a strange purple aura and one day, a psychic, used his gift to uncover the heresy, the greatest betrayal.

The creator never asked for faith in his name, or even for the legions. They know he was a human but he did something no one or nothing ever did, he gave them the tools to be better, to rise above their condition, to be remembered. Above all else, he did it because he could, he gave without asking for anything in return.

When they started the legion, they were united in the belief he would give them more. They thought he would give them preferential treatment but he did not and somehow, it made them feel better. For the majority of them anyway.

Time passed and he kept giving and giving. He never asked for anything, even going as far as thinking the whole thing as a joke from them.

The legions grew and with them the love they felt for him.

Even more so for the sister's legion. Women that all but gave up on having a child but reached this once impossible goal thank to the gift of fertility. Of all the legion, they were the most thankful to him. Understandably.

The leaders in the search was the hunter legion's people. It was like a pack of wolf was left loose on the world. They searched relentlessly, leaving no stone unturned.

When the betrayers were found out, the purge began. Not just in the legion, it was found out those betrayers had infiltrated every strata of the world. They were hunted and killed if found by the legions or imprisoned if the secret services spotted them.

Surprisingly, most of the evidences for those that had not received the gift from the creator, and were hidden from the sight, were found by tony stark himself. The man had taken the kidnaping of the creator has a slight against him and had his now revealed A.I find anything that could be found on the web and every machine that was connected.

It was honestly horrifying to see that most of the complotist theories were true. Those people were leading the world in the dark and could easily be seen as the famous illuminati.

For all the cleaning they had done, they had yet to find were they had imprisoned the creator.

It took them a month of research, cooperating with agencies and governments now cleaned of betrayers to find him. They had managed to transport him in a hidden base in Iceland. When the news was released, the Europeans legions converged on the place and killed every one in the bunker.

They had finally managed to find him but his state was horrible. His whole body looked more like a skeleton and different kind of cable and tube were connected to him, for what purpose none knew.

Yet, he was alive and so, hope was not lost.

Shield was the first on site. After being gazed at by psychic member of the first legion and passing the guardians made up of the blessed legion, they finally were able to look at Eric and begin to try and help him.

Meanwhile, the legions began to fortify the surrounding land with the help of magus that appeared out of nowhere. Apparently members of a place called Kamar-Taj. They were deemed friendly and alongside the legions, worked to make sure none could harm the creator any more than he already was.

The whole thing had plunged the world in chaos. It made his head hurt to even think on what the new world order would look like.

Luckily the purge had cleaned SHIELD of the remain of HYDRA as it did to the rest of the world. The famous organisation would fade in history as the betrayers. All because their greed got the best of them.

They also managed to appear as the legion trusted ally. They were the first that extended a helping hand in searching for young Wagner and because they did so he had an army of super powered willing to help him should he call for them.

As for the rest of the world:

China was in a state of civil war were the ruling party was losing against the local legions that were supported by popular will.

Russia had lost her leader when one of HYDRA agent in a desperate last act, killed the president before the protective service managed to stop him. The country was in a bit of turmoil as no one was ready to replace him.

USA was slowly but surely leaning on throwing their lot behind SHIELD as the current style of governance was seen more and more as a problem by the now powered citizen.

European countries had a crisis of faith as did the middle east. Muslims, Catholics and Jewish men of faith called the creator a false prophet and because of this, their believer were preparing for a new holy war.

Africa was uniting. The young Ali was proving to be an able leader and called the liberator. Said man despised to be called so, but his wish to see his home and continent united made him keep silent about it. Already, a third of it was liberated and all that tried to use this situation for their benefits were dealt with. His legion was proving effective not to forget that other legion sent help to stabilise the place under his leadership.

As for the rest, it was yet too chaotic to see where they were heading.

He looked at the device in his hand and sighed. Maybe he would need to call her after all.
