chapter 18 Golden deer Revelations and confessions
Claude had no idea how to feel about this situation. He didn't feel comfortable leaving his friends to face Zabuza and Haku but he had his orders from his professor. His classmates didn't particularly feel comfortable leaving their friends at the mercy of two of possibly the most dangerous assassins but there was nothing that could be done about it in the hideout unless they took it out. There was no way they could possibly do anything for their friends.
"I wouldn't worry about Naruto; he's one of the strongest people I know." said Gaara, noticing his apprehension.
"You have a lot of faith in Naruto, don't you?" asked Hilda.
"Naruto gave me a chance when no one else did; he saw in me what no one else did at the time. I believe in him." Claude didn't know what to make of that.
"When this mission is over, I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. We'll have plenty of time once we return to the monastery." They continued walking; it had been hours; mostly silence. He looked around; it would be a good place to do an ambush, especially in this dark place. It was a forest not too far from where they were.
"I don't like this one bit," said Leonie. She felt uncomfortable; she was feeling what he was feeling in the air. He tightened his grip on his bow at any time; he hoped the training they were given paid off. They were getting close to the hideout in the report. Something seemed off; there was nobody here but what was going on? Claude didn't like it; he had a bad feeling something told him they made a mistake.
"Are you sure this is where their hideout is, Gaara?" asked Claude.
Ignatz, who had the same thought as everyone else, said nothing.
"I'm positive my scouts were correct; there's no way unless…" he was thinking the same thing as someone had betrayed them. There was a mole.
"We have to go back; our friends are in danger. They cannot take on Gato's men by themselves."
Before they could do anything, they were surrounded.
"Wow! How predictable! Of course, those Konoha ninja would fall for it, and our client will be pleased, especially with Claude." Said a big man who was clearly the bandit leader.
"So this is how it is. We were led into a trap. Got any ideas?" Claude asked his group. They didn't have any suggestions. Gaara stepped forward; he didn't know what he was thinking.
"We have a rare opportunity on our hands to kill the demon brat Gaara of the sand." said one of the random bandits they charged at Gaara, he was about to intercept but Guren stopped him. Sand came out of his gourd; he would ask him later on what that thing on his back was.
" I'm more than a match for these small fry; go help Naruto and the others; they're greatly outnumbered. He had no idea why he was encouraging them to leave Gaara to fight for these group of bandits by himself.
"You can't possibly take these bandits on your own; we should stay behind to help at least some of us." Hilda suggested.
"You will only get in my way Naruto needs your help more than I do." He turned his back on the group. Claude wasn't in a position where he didn't think any choice was the correct one. Gaara was making short work of the bandits. He had a calm look that he wasn't faced at all when they tried to attack him. Claude was amazed at how he managed to block sword after sword and arrow after arrow, it seemed like he had an entire shield around him.
"He knows what he's talking about he can take care of this. We need to help Naruto and the others." Ino said through Claude's mind. The longer they stood there the more that Naruto's life would be in danger unnecessarily he took one last look at Gaara and left he didn't know if they'd be able to get there fast enough but he would have to try everything depended on it Naruto's life and those of the Land of Waves their future depends on them getting to their friends on time.
"We will not get to our friends in time if we don't use the results of our training Professor Kakashi taught us."Hilda said to everyone she was right they're Konoha classmates can easily do it they've been trained before but to do it at the heat of battle.
"We will do it let's test the results of our training everyone"Claude jumped on the trees in the surrounding area he wasn't as good at tree climbing as his Konoha classmates but he was sufficient enough along with the rest of his classmates from the Golden Deer to keep up with them.
Everything depended on his team getting there in time he wondered if Gaara would be okay? He didn't have time to think about it, he had to take action his friend's lives depended on it. The last thing he wanted was to tell Hinata and Ingrid that he had failed to save the people important to them.
Naruto, Dorothea, Shez, and Kakashi were waiting at the bridge where the battle would likely take place. This is because that's what the objective for "Goto" is. Not only does it want to eliminate the carpenter Tazuna and his family, but also any competition.
Naruto didn't like waiting. It was something he never liked doing, but he wasn't as experienced of a shinobi from Konoha as a Sensei Kakashi.
Dorothea was in a position to defend herself and her classmates at any time. She had a determined look on her face.
Shez was itching to avenge herself in the last encounter with Zabuza.
"There's something About This atmosphere I don't like."Dorothea commented she was feeling the same thing he was.
"She has potential kit your sensei has a good eye on talent." Kyubi pointed out Naruto understood then he noticed something else. He gathered his nature chakra in order to sense any nearby enemies he sensed many.
"Kakashi Sensei we are surrounded"Naruto said to his teacher everyone looked at Naruto shocked.
"Someone must have leaked our position they wouldn't know what we are otherwise."said Shez.
"That's just not possible; there's no way we could have had an information leak."
Kakashi said in disagreement.
"It is completely irrelevant. We had a mole with us; someone reported on our position."
Shez was speaking as if she knew from experience.
"What do we do, Kakashi-sensei?" asked Naruto.
"We trust in our comrades to come to our aid in time. I trained them. After all, if they use the results of their training, they'll get here in no time, but we will have to deal with fighting essentially an army on our own until then.
Kakashi answered.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't the demon fox who thinks I'd finally get a chance to avenge my humiliation."
Naruto recognized that voice and turned around, only to see a silver-haired man he once tricked into stealing the Forbidden Scroll. When he was found out, he was using Naruto to frame him and steal the scroll for himself. He tried to kill Iruka. If Naruto hadn't learned the Shadow Clone Jutsu that night, he would have been dead.
"So this is how far you've fallen, Mizuki, to become a mercenary for scum like Goto?"
Kakashi spoke with contempt.
The silver-haired man laughed.
"Oh, after all these years, Kakashi, you haven't even told your student about what's inside of him."
Dorothea looked at Naruto confused as to what he was talking about.
Mizuki asked him, "Have you ever wondered why the people of Konoha hated you, Naruto, or who sealed the fox inside of you?"
Kyūbi knew, but he hadn't told him yet.
"Don't listen to him Naruto, he's trying to rile you up" Kakashi warned.
"Your friends don't know those you go to school with? This is rich" he laughed like he thought it was funny.
Shut up, bastard" Naruto yelled to silence him. He was about to strike at him but he sped past him. Naruto was about to stop him. He had a kunai at Dorothea's throat. How is he so fast? It couldn't be possible?
"I've gotten a lot stronger since the last time, but I'm not taking any chances. I'll take this diva or should I say former diva hostage" Naruto was full of rage like he had never felt before.
He wanted to rip him a new one. He wanted to rip him to pieces. This bastard Dorothea didn't look scared; she looked calm.
"Is this your woman, Naruto?" he asked him with a sinister smile.
Naruto knew if he wasn't careful, he would end up killing Dorothea before he could do anything.
"Coward!" Shez said with disgust.
"It's not cowardice doing what is necessary to obtain victory that's the problem with you, Konoha folks, and especially you." He stared at Shez mockingly.
"Mercenaries don't have ethics or codes of honor; we do what is necessary for money—for victory." Shez responded sharply.
"Don't put us all in the same bracket just because some us are scum doesn't mean all of us are. I have boundaries: Hostages is something I won't take, no matter what the circumstances are. Only a coward does that." There was nothing anyone could do if they made any sudden moves. Dorothea would be killed.
"Here is one thing you've made a mistake, thinking that I'm helpless." He looked surprised as Dorothea, with her right hand, took a Kunai out of her pouch and jabbed it into his abdomen repeatedly until he let her go. He dropped his Kunai as she ran to Naruto's side.
"You bitch" Mizuki said in anger.
"I've dealt with many men like you when I was at the streets. I know how to get around, I know how to survive, you underestimated me. That will be your last mistake; you will ever make." She did the hand signs; the last one she did was that of the tiger. Naruto couldn't believe the hands that she was doing. She launched a fireball jutsu at him; he didn't Dodge; he couldn't do to his injuries.
He screamed in pain. He tried to move himself as far away as possible, but he couldn't. When the fight was over, Naruto saw that half of his flesh had been burned.
"You" he was so enraged, but something was off. His flesh was healing, and he heard laughter. A purple aura began to engulf him.
"You stupid bitch! You assumed too much! You should have stuck to the opera!" He was about to charge at her, but Shez got between them and blocked what would have been a killing blow with her twin swords.
Shez did not know what kind of power that she was seeing. It was nothing like hers; it was black markings were all over his skin. He was powerful. She knew this far more powerful than she originally thought.
"Whatever power he has do not underestimate him Shez this power is not something I'm familiar with it's not like the powers that you have be very careful" Arval advised she knew exactly what he meant this was not a foe she could underestimate.
"The mercenary who was scared shitless of Zabaza is going to take me on. I'm shivering in my boots." Mizuki said mockingly.
You're nothing compared to Zabaza; don't kid yourself," she replied sharply.
"You're from a dead mercenary band; don't kid yourself," he asked her, she smiled in a way that scared him.
"When you go up against Byleth Eisner and you survive that's a victory within itself; you on the other hand, had you ever encountered him, you would be dead. Mocking my former mercenary band, dying to someone so powerful. It's not something a smart mercenary does; if you knew anything about his reputation, which you don't. You have never stayed long enough in Fodlan; you are nothing." She said with a evil grin.
He looked agitated and tried to attack her at full speed with the power he had at his disposal, no matter how many times he tried. It was useless; she was too fast. She didn't even need to use the power Arval gave her. He was a small fry, not worth extending the effort. She noticed the more he attacked with the power he had, the more exhausted he became and the angrier he became. Whatever this power is, she thought there must be a downside to it.
"Whatever power he has, it's a double-edged sword: time your strikes, and when you have the chance, strike without using the power I gave you to finish off this foe. He's nothing. he's a small fry and isn't worth expanding your strength unnecessarily."
Arval advised, despite not being much of a threat to her, he was still a dangerous opponent if she underestimated him even at his current state.
He got more frustrated attacking, while she did nothing but dodge.
"Not so cocky now, are you?" Shez kicked him in the jaw, knocking out his teeth, he tried to get up, but she wouldn't let him. She struck him at his knee with her sword in her right hand. Whatever power he was using took its toll, leaving him at her mercy. She could do whatever she wanted with him.
"Damn him! He lied! He said this would make me invincible. This would make me stronger!" He coughed up more blood.
"You should have known better than to trust liars like Orochimaru," said Kakashi. He looked at Kakashi with hatred.
"I won't be lectured by you", he got up despite the injuries; he tried to charge at Kakashi. She was considering interfering, but thought better of it. Kakashi was more than a match for him. But before he got to Kakashi, he was struck in the neck by two needles and tumbled to the ground dead.
" Scum like him deserves worse, but I suppose it's better than nothing." Said a polite voice she recognized; it was the boy named Haku.
"Remember the plan, Haku", Zabuza told him.
Haku went to where Naruto and Dorothea were; she was about to come to their assistance before Zabuza got between her and Haku.
" I believe you and I have unfinished business, don't we?" He asked Shez.
"Yes we do, I will not lose this time." She got into her fighting stance.
" Stay out of this, Kakashi-sensei. This is my battle." She told her teacher
"I had no choice then, so I'll protect you until our friends arrive."
Kakashi left his team alone to face Haku and Zabuza."Your sensei left you all to die. Are you really okay with that?" asked Zabuza.
"I'm not going to die. I have a lot to accomplish before I defeat Byleth Eisner. I won't die. You're just a stepping stone on my way to my goal." She was going to go all out; she wouldn't hold back.
" Byleth Eisner I've heard a lot about him. I'd love to clash swords with him someday, but enough talk, girl. Show me what you're made of." He was treating her with respect. This wasn't the same as last time.
The fear that she had before it was still there, but she would fight it and conquer it if she couldn't defeat Zabuza. Then she wouldn't have a chance of ever defeating Byleth Eisner; he's a lot stronger. Time stood still for what seemed to be an eternity.
Zabuza struck, first Shez blocked what would have been a killing blow with her twin blades. He looked impressed. He was a lot stronger physically than she was; she couldn't just power through him; she had to use strategy; she had to find any openings and weaknesses in his fighting style.
This will be the first true test for her; the training that she has received in her time with the Golden Deer will be put to the test. She cannot afford to die here, as her friends depend on her, and she cannot defeat her rival unless she can overcome the fear she's feeling right now.
Naruto and Dorothea versus Haku
Dorothea was by Naruto's side; she never thought that she should be facing an elite Shinobi from a foreign land. She knew from his skills that he was not someone to be underestimated. Naruto took out his kunai from his pouch while Haku took out his needles from his pouch, which he got in his own fighting stance. It wasn't that she wasn't inexperienced in close-range combat; she had to learn how to fight hand-to-hand in order to survive on the streets in Enbarr.
He moved as fast as lightning and went straight for Dorothea. She didn't even have a moment to react Naruto blocked what could have been a killing blow with his kunai. She couldn't believe how close she had come just now to being killed, and the battle had only just started. Now she couldn't care less about anything else; she couldn't die yet.
She cast a thunder spell, which hit Haku. Then she cast another thunder spell, preventing Naruto from being struck by Haku. He kicked him in the abdomen and went straight to Dorothea. She couldn't use the fireball jutsu that Kakashi had taught her; it would take too much time. She had to do something. Then she remembered the kunai she had on her right hand, narrowly blocking the needles from hitting her vital spots.
It was difficult for her; she had never fought anyone as strong as Haku. Her skill set wasn't in hand-to-hand combat; it was magic. She felt useless in the five nations; she was nothing more than a defenseless girl. The masked man spoke with admiration.
"You have courage, but that's not going to save you. This isn't personal; please don't hate me." The politeness of her enemy was pissing her off; she would rather deal with anyone but a polite enemy.
She couldn't use any of her spells; she couldn't use any of the new skills that she had been taught. It was useless in close combat, something that she would have to rectify if she got out of this battlefield alive.
"Damn it!" she said aloud. He was so strong; nothing like anything she had ever encountered. Before he could do anything else to her, Naruto punched Haku, knocking him back.
She saw Naruto do his hand signs and created multiple Shadow clones; she had never seen so many Naruto's before; she observed how he did the hand signs. Could she do such a jutsu? Did she dare, especially in the heat of battle? She decided to try it, doing everything that Naruto did, and then she yelled.
"Shadow clone jutsu!" Shocked both Naruto and Haku, two Dorothea's appeared. "That can't be?" Naruto looked at her in disbelief.
"This girl possesses a Sharingan, Itachi Uchiha wiped out the entire Uchiha clan, except for one boy. This is impossible."
Haku said it in disbelief; Dorothea didn't know what they were talking about. She looked into her reflection in the water; her normally green eyes were red. On the side, she saw one tomoe in the reflection; she had no idea what this meant.
Naruto couldn't believe it; Dorothea have a Sharingan? How is that even possible? There's no way anyone in Fodlan could possess one. The Uchiha clan couldn't have had other members who left. It just wasn't possible. There's no way the clan would have ever allowed it."
"Intriguing. So that girl is a descendant of Tsukiyomi Uchiha. To think that there is an Uchiha descendant among us."
Kyubi said with interest.
"Did you know?"
Naruto asked him.
Naruto was familiar with Tsukiyomi Uchiha. She was a legend, one of the greatest Konichi to have ever lived. She was strong and she was beautiful. The legend said.
"To think that she was a descendant and one of the last surviving Uchiha Sasuke wasn't the only one."Kyubi Said.
"what the hell happened there's no way she could have had a descendant if Tsukiyomi fate is anything to believe she died when she sided with Madara Uchiha when Hashirama and him had their falling out. She was killed by Mito Uzumaki. Just what the hell's going on?"Naruto asked Kyubi.
"There's no time to explain kit we're in a battle I don't want to repeat myself and it's better that I explain it to you and of your mates at once."Naruto did not have a response to that but then he realized he said all of his mates he didn't mention them by name he couldn't mean.
"you're saying Dorothea's is one of my mates?"Naruto asked stupidly the fox growled in annoyance out of all the times to ask such stupid questions.
"There's a time and place for everything, but right now is not the time to be asking such questions. Damn it! There's a battle to be fought. Help Dorothea! Damn you! Or do you want to explain to your mates Hinata and Ingrid why their mate died?" Kyubi said angrily.
He was right, Naruto thought he could focus on that later and ran to where Dorothea was to come to her aid and ensure that she came back with him to Garreg Mach. He wasn't going to lose her; he didn't understand his feelings towards her; it couldn't be the same as Ingrid or Hinata; he'd figure that out later once the mission was over.
Dorothea regained her composure, whatever reasoning she had didn't matter at that time; she would use it like any other weapon. Her senses felt faster than before; like she was able to see things more clearly than she ever had. It almost felt like she was blind before. Haku tried to attack her, but she managed to dodge his blows with her superior reflexes thanks to her newfound eyes.
"It seems I underestimated you, Dorothea-san" he said in a format of respect for her abilities. She saw him do a bunch of hand signs she recognized all of them because of what Kakashi taught her in class. She tried to replicate them when he was done. The surrounding area where she and Naruto were was surrounded by ice. She tried to copy the jitsu but it wouldn't work.
"You cannot copy my powers, kekkei genkai abilities and jitsu's cannot be copied with your Sharingan."copying that's what the Sharingan could do? She didn't know why this power felt familiar. It's like it wasn't the first time she used this power but when? Where was this power when she needed it?
She would figure it out later. Right now, she needed to survive and make sure Naruto comes back alive. She doesn't want Hinata to cry or Ingrid to be heartbroken. She loves both of them with all of her heart. She doesn't want them to be heartbroken.
"I will make this as painless as possible forgive me."Haku went inside the mirror she got in a garden position with her Sharingan. She should be able to keep up with anything that Haku throws at her waited patiently for Haku to strike.
Naruto went by her side covering her back they were both looking and then Haku as if he was moving as fast as light itself struck at her he struck to her right then her left and then her right again then up and down. Her eyes could barely even keep up with Haku's speed it was fast faster than any thing she'd ever seen if it weren't for the Sharingan she would not be able to keep up but even with her newfound power it was nearly impossible blood started dripping to the ground her blood and then she looked Naruto's as well.
She was breathing heavily; she had never suffered such injuries before her life. This opponent she was up against he was stronger than anyone that she's ever been up against. There had to be a plan she watched as Haku started make his move. It was noticeable for only a second but he left himself open.
"Naruto use your Shadow clones."Dorothea ordered Naruto did she was told and created a bunch of them.
Haku struck at the clones she saw him and made her move. She quickly did the technique that Kakashi taught her.
"fire style meteor storm jitsu"to combine both the fire style jitsu with her meteor spell which caught Haku off guard. It destroyed the ice mirrors with little effort she was amazed that such a powerful technique was able to be used. She tried it before she had the Sharingan; it was far more powerful with it than without it.
It was as if her accuracy went up 200% it wasn't like the Byakugan but it was quite powerful. Their opponent was defeated. He looked at Naruto and Dorothea as his mask fell off.
"You have defeated me. Finish it yourself. You are the victor; it's your right."
Haku gave up because he had been defeated.
"Unless we have a good reason, I won't take your life." Naruto replied.
"I have no reason to live. I'm broken as a tool." Haku said sadly.
"That's bullshit as long as you're alive, you can find a purpose and another reason to live." Naruto said, not being happy with the way Haku was talking about himself.
"Shinobi are tools to be used and disregarded when our use is expired; this is how things are, Naruto San. You have a reason to live; you have people to protect. I have no use anymore; I have failed and what my purpose is." Dorothea looked at him with sadness.
Dorothea recalls when the Konoha transferase when they first came to the monastery they acted differently; they were distant compared to the rest of the students Shinobi. They're used as weapons and disregard when they no longer have any use their humanity doesn't matter she closed her fist in anger. No wonder Hinata self-worth is what it is it's because of this damn system she hates it with a passion.
"Who's to say you can't have a new start?" Dorothea asked him. He looked at her as if he were seeing her for the first time.
"Surrender, lay down your weapons. You can find a new purpose and a new home. There's no reason for you to die here; it's a pointless death." He looked down in shame.
"The only thing I know how to do is kill others I cannot do anything else. I have nowhere else to go where I'm from. People with kekkei genkai were hunted down to the point we fear for our lives where we don't reveal our abilities out in the open. We have to essentially hide what we are. Dorothea san, Naruto San what do you suggest for someone like me what kind of future is there for someone like me? My own father tried to kill me and even killed my mother when he found out about our abilities."Dorothea felt awful hearing this poor man's story.
"The only person who didn't look at me with fear was Zabuza san. He gave me purpose, he trained me in everything. I know he gave me purpose. That's why I was okay with shedding my humanity. I was okay with being a tool you deprived me of any reason to live, Dorothea-san and Naruto-san". She wanted desperately to help him, but how could she?
She has no idea what it's like. Yes, she grew up in poverty. She had a really hard life and would have been forced to do prostitution to survive had it not been for Manuela taking her into the Opera company. Compared to this man before her, she has it good.
There has to be a way even though he is her enemy she doesn't want to see him die needlessly and die as a tool without at least being given a second chance.
"you can come with us to the monastery Haku"Naruto said the man looked surprised.
"You mean Garreg Mach?" Haku asked Naruto and disbelief that he would suggest such a thing.
"Yes, it would be better than dying here and giving you a chance to find another reason to live."
Naruto answered, Haku couldn't believe it; his enemies were offering him a chance to live.
Zabuza told him yesterday to live, no matter what. He was torn. If he accepted their offer, he would abandon Zabuza."
"I would like to accept your offer, but I can't do it. I won't fight you, but I won't kill Zabuza or fight against him. He laid down his weapons and held his hand up. It was over."
Shez Vs Zabuza
Naruto and Dorothea were fighting against Haku, who had to face her fear the last time she had fought Zabuza; she had frozen, even if part of her is still scared of fighting him. She cannot have a chance to ever defeat Byleth Eisner if she cannot defeat Zabuza, a man who is not even close to his level. He was a stepping stone.
The two combatants were silent, one of them waiting for the other to make the first move. So he had a lot more experience than Shez if she wasn't careful, she would be killed in an instant. She didn't want to be too dependent on Arval's powers.
The one thing Kakashi had taught her in the days leading up to the battle was one of the best things she could do when facing a strong enemy is to wait for the right opportunity. Observe their movements and do not strike until opportunity presented itself. Zabuza, who got tired of waiting, decided to start the fight due to him getting tired of waiting he had a large sword that was almost as big as him. He moved faster than any swordman she had ever seen, other than Byleth.
He attempted to end the duel the start, bycutting her down she blocked his sword with her own. She couldn't keep it up for long due to him having far more strength than she did. Text him at the knee and move out of the way.
She saw him do hand signs when he had finished a water dragon appeared to perform a jutsu she did her own, which Kakashi taught her to counter water. When she was done, she pointed at Zabuza's direction.
"Lightning style, lightning thunders, spark"
A bolt of lighting shot out of her index finger and went straight to zabuza's water dragon it completely destroyed his water dragon with little effort. Zabuza moved in a flash.
"Mist Jutsu", her opponent said she couldn't see the environment around her, as the fog was so thick that it was difficult for her to see. It was like being blind. She closed her eyes and placed her sword on the ground, waiting for the vibrations to give her a signal. She focused on the sounds of Zabuza, anything that he might make.
"Too slow", Zabuza said, barely blocking a sword slashing downwards. If it hadn't been for the sword she had with her, strange powers, she would have been cut in half. Then he disappeared again; this was an assassination technique. Out of all the things she had to encounter, this was one of them.
No, she can't be a sore loser or an immature child. If she wants to ever defeat the person she wants to defeat, she can't give in to frustration; patience is the key to victory. He tried to strike at her again, but she blocked him on her lower right side. Then he tried her lower back, but she blocked him.
He just tried to strike her left side. She blocked. She noticed he was speeding up his strikes. It was harder and harder for her to keep up. He was strong; she had to give him credit. He definitely had experience.
She had to come up with a plan: how was she going to defeat him when she couldn't see him or hear him? She decided to close her eyes. Her sight was a distraction if all else failed; when you're relying on your hearing, you focus on the feeling of the environment. She put her swords in a downward motion as if testing sounds with the vibration of the blade.
She heard a splash and ducked to the left, striking Zabuza on the head. Blood was splattered all over the ground, and she opened her eyes as the fog dispersed.
"Impressive", he said with a tone of respect.
Both combatants were breathing heavily, even though the fight lasted for a short amount of time. This was the most difficult fight she had ever had to deal with. She would not use Arval unless she was in a situation where she would lose without it.
"Impressive your skills I will admit are good for their age. What's your name, girl?"
Zabuza asked her.
"Shez" she answered.
"Impressive someone so young that skilled it's a shame given enough time you could have been a legend; as a form of respect, I will end this fight quickly and painlessly. I will at least give you that."Zabuza said so this was it?
Fights between swordsmen rarely last long, and they rarely last more than a 10 to 20 seconds. An amazing amount of training goes into it, and it can end in nothing in the span of seconds.
Regardless of how this fight turns out, it will be their last move, one way or the other.
"I will give you the same courtesy as well Zabuza-san. It's because of you that I faced my fears, so thank you."
Nothing more was said; it felt like an eternity, but it was only 10 seconds. Both combatants charged with lightning speed: Zabaza had two of his hands swinging his sword.
She, with her twin blades, was getting ready to counter his strike with a double slash sideways.
The combatants, each with two swords, clashed; it seemed like it was an eternity. When the moment passed, Zabuza's sword broke into two, and a cut into his chest. He fell face-down on the ground.
She turned around and looked at her fallen foe in. When she approached him, she turned him .
"Beaten by a girl who's in her teens, how the mighty have fallen!" He coughed up blood.
" If there was any opponent I was glad to have been defeated by, it being someone like you. Someone so strong and so young."
He struggled to find the words.
"What a worthy death this is."he continued to cough up blood.
"take that sword you have the potential to wield it"she looked at it what good was a broken blade?
"That is a powerful weapon I would take it there's something special about it trust me on this one Shez"Arval advised.
She went towards the weapon, lifted it up and swung it, even though it was broken. It was still a good sword, but then she saw what Arval was talking about: this was no ordinary blade.
She saw Haku run towards Zabuza. He went on his knees and lifted his head up
"This is it for me Haku,"Zabusa said.
" Zabuza San please" Haku was begging him to live, it was useless, the wounds he had was fatal, it was only a matter of time.
"Do not hold it against the girl. I have many regrets, Haku, but the one thing I feel like I did right was finding you on the streets. When you had nowhere else to go. Yes, I did pick you up to train you to use you for my own ends, but, you're much more than that to me; you're the closest thing I will ever have to a son. Promise me that you'll find your own path, your own purpose, your own goals. I want you to find your own reason to live" he was coughing up blood; his time was almost up.
"I'll do it, Father" the man said, crying.
"It feels good to hear that. See you on the other side, my son."
The last essence of his life left him; Zabuza was no more.
"A worthy warrior who deserves a warrior's burial","Shez said to Haku. Naruto and Dorothea weren't too far behind him."
"We should help Kakashi-sensei", Dorothea said.
"I wish to be here for a while, if that's okay with you, Naruto-san" Haku said to Naruto. He nodded in agreement and left her there; she was doing the same, along with Dorothea.
Earlier with Claude's group
Claude and his group were moving as fast as their legs would carry them. He was surprised at how fast he was able to move between the trees. He was actually grateful to Kakashi's training, even though it was a pain in the ass. He was moving as fast as he could, but there was a limit. There was only so much that a bunch of inexperienced students, who had never been previously trained, could do compared to their counterparts in Konoha, who had been able to do this for years, like it was second nature.
Their friends would be overwhelmed by the army that Goto was sending after them, which was a trap in order to lure the bulk of their force away from their true goal. They were going to pillage the town and kill Tazuna, who would build the bridge and bring back peace and prosperity to this land.
He thought it was pointless this fight over a bridge. Everyone would benefit, including Goto Claude. Didn't get it; it made no sense, especially if he was a businessman. It would make no logical sense to support building a bridge that would help commerce. Everyone would benefit, but then if you were a greedy person and wanted to be the one that controls the flow of commerce, you would not want such a bridge being built. That's why Goto wants Tazuna dead.
They saw bandits attacking the village where Tazuna's family stayed. Damn it! He thought. Their friends needed their help, but they couldn't just leave these people to their fate.
"We're going to have to split our teams if we're going to have any chance of helping these people. Naruto, Dorothea, Professor Kakashi, and Shez, any suggestions?" Claude asked his classmates.
"A suggestion, if I may, Claude: San why not just split our team into two? You can leave Raphael, Leonie, and Choji can take care of things here while everyone else assists our friends." Lee suggested, which didn't sound like a bad plan. They are the physically strongest fighters here and they can hold their own in a fight.
" It would be better if I stayed with Choji, Shikamaru. You should come with us to work we better together as a unit." Ino ordered much to the annoyance of Shikamaru.
He didn't know the abilities of Team 10, but what he heard from Naruto was that the Ino-Shika-Cho trio worked well together in their sparring sessions. When Kakashi put each member of the Golden Deer into a different team, they were exceptional. They weren't anything special individually, but together, they were a force to be reckoned with. And he wouldn't want to be their enemy.
"Careful out there, I'll be there as soon as I can" Claude ordered.
"I won't let you down, Claude San" Lee said with a smile and a thumbs up before leading his team away.
They were at a disadvantage. Lorenz, Ignatz, and Hilda were all that he had with him to back him up. Hopefully the rest of his class can hold their own without their assistance until the others arrive to assist them.
They saw a group of bandits, which numbered a decent amount (of no more than) 10 or 20. It will be difficult for the number of people they have with them.
"Got any plans, Claude?" asked Hilda.
He did his trademark grin.
"Yeah, let's test the results of our training."
"Hilda, Lorenz, you too will go up in front, while I and Ignatz will support you from behind."
They both looked at Claude as if he were crazy; two against twenty?
"You're far stronger than you look, Hilda. Come on."
Claude said he wanted didn't want hear her complain.
"It's just no matter, let's just get this over with" she said, clearly irritated that she had to do the bulk of the work. Lorenz wasn't any happier than she was, but he relented not wanting to argue with Claude at a time like this.
"Are you sure about this, Claude?" asked Ignatz, who was worried about their friends heading to a group of bandits that greatly outnumbered them.
"If the shy girl squad can take out basically an entire army in a short amount of time, there's no reason we can't." Claude said with his mischievous smile.
He took his bow out and an arrow out of his quiver. He focused his chakra on the arrow, which was a technique he had practiced since Kakashi taught everyone about chakra natures. He wasn't sure if it would work, but if it did, it would be his own technique and something that didn't originate from Konoha. He did the appropriate hand signs and then a green aura covered his arrow. Perfect! He thought.
"Windstyle Windrill Jitsu"
He fired his arrow, which were three arrows firing at once. They were gigantic. The bandits had no idea what was coming before they could do anything.
Ten of them were killed, about half of them in an instant. He couldn't believe it.
"Wow", Claude thought 10 people were instantly killed by this powerful but dangerous jitsu.
Hilda, not allowing the remaining bandits to recover from their shock, struck from behind, cutting three of the bandits down: one of them fell face down dead; another fell backwards; the third of them was about to strike again. Somehow, he had enough strength to do another blow that was instantly stabbed through his heart by Lorenz's Lance.
The other bandits, the remaining seven, tried to avenge their fallen comrades. The first of them was killed by Ignatz's arrows, which he launched from his bow. The first of them was a woman's skull, going straight through. She died before she was even aware of what was happening. The second one was killed by Claude's second arrow, a regular one that fired straight to his throat.
The third one was killed when Lorenz broke the woman's neck by snapping it in a chokehold. Lorenz didn't bother to check if she was dead.
The fourth one tried to avenge his comrade's death, only to be cut down by Hilda's axe. Another tried to run through Hilda with his sword, but he didn't get far when Claude launched an arrow that went through the woman's eye. She was stunned by the sudden hit of the arrow, she couldn't register what had just happened Ignatz shot another arrow made sure she was dead.
The fifth of the bandits, along with the rest of them, decided it wasn't worth dying for the kind of pay that was being offered, so they ran. The brief exchange was a gruesome one that Claude had to admit, but it was necessary in order for them to get to Kakashi as fast as possible.
Before he could signal for his classmates to continue, Lee along with the people who were with him regrouped.
"That wasn't so difficult." Lee said a little disappointed at how fast it ended.
"We should get going; we don't want to leave our friends hanging." Hilda said.
Claude and his friends ran as fast as they could to the bridge, ensuring that Naruto, Kakashi, Dorothea, and Shez would get what they needed in time. Claude wouldn't let anyone die, especially someone like Naruto who he was finally able to connect with for the first time.
"Hang in there buddy"Claude said as his group ran as fast as their legs would take them.
Goto was wondering what was taking so long; he was getting annoyed. "Those damn mercenaries," he said with contempt. It was taking forever; they outnumbered those upstarts from Konoha and a foreign continent he doesn't care to remember the name of it. It wouldn't matter; they would all die today.
His bodyguards, he can hire more, should the worst happen. He heard loud noises, wondering what it was about; he heard a loud thump and was startled to find out there couldn't possibly be a battle.
He heard a loud noise as swords clashed, people screamed. He heard it kick the door slam open, and it was none other than the upstart from the other day with a gigantic axe. He had a smile on his face.
"You should have hired me when you had the chance; now I'm just going to take everything."
Goto couldn't believe this man; how dare he threaten him, acting like he owns the place!"
"What are you waiting for? Kill this man! What do you think I pay you for?"
His bodyguards wouldn't move. Shahid thought this was amusing and it pissed him off.
"If you value your lives, I'll pay you double what he was paying you. Is that a deal?"
The bodyguards looked at him and then looked at the man in front of them.
He dropped twice as much gold as what was paid for it. They looked at Goto and then looked at the man in front of them. They took their payment and left him.
He would find a way out of this; he always does. He didn't survive this long life without finding a deal that would benefit him more than anyone else.
"If you think you're going to negotiate, you're mistaken. We don't do that in Almyra. Once we offer a deal, and you decline, that offer isn't going to be offered a second time. You had your chance."
He aimed his Aex at his face.
"Your wealth and everything that you hold of value I have taken everything you are now a broke and worthless a commoner you could have kept it had you paid me when I asked but instead of losing 100,000 gold, you lost everything, including your life. A worthless commoner like you has no use to me; be gone."
The last thing he saw as his life ended was an Axe slicing through his neck.
"What do we do now, my lord?" asked one of Shahid's men. He looked at the headless body of Goto, such a pathetic creature. Again, everyone outside his kingdom was nothing more than mindless, stupid barbarians. It didn't matter that he had ended his life; no one would know who did it. They would blame it on the locals, and it would be plausible considering what this man had done to the Land of Waves, terrorizing the people.
He could be a hero if he wanted to be, but he didn't care about these people.
"We have everything we need, my lord. We can leave whenever you want." Said a brown-skinned woman in her early twenties. She had long brown hair, brown eyes, and was tall and slender.
"Yes, let's leave this wretched land. Let the barbarians fight amongst themselves. We have everything we need." Shahid turned his back on the wretch whose life he had just taken.
He paid no attention to the carnage his men had caused: the dead bodies of men and women who had fought for this fool, some of whom had even surrendered; he killed them; he had no use for spineless, worthless mercenaries. When he was outside, he got onto his wyvern. He took one last look at Goto's hideout, signaling for his men to launch fire arrows. Any survivors would be killed by the smoke, which would definitely distract the fools in Konoha and Fodlan.
By the time they got here, all evidence that anyone had been here or that he had been here would be destroyed. Shahid wouldn't be so foolish as to leave a trail that his brother could recognize. He kicked to signal to his mount to fly; they wouldn't find him, he wouldn't leave a trail that his brother could recognize. He was very good at covering his tracks.
"With the funds I have, they should be enough to start my claim to the throne. Khalid, I will not give the throne to a half-breed like you." He was disgusted at the thought of his half-brother sitting on the throne that is his by right.
They would have to fight over it; he knows that he isn't a coward, but he isn't ready yet. Until he's ready to press for his claim, he will bind his time and, once his brother is dead and broken, he will once and for all prove to that woman (who is his mother the one that birthed his half brother) and his father that he is the one true son. There are no others.
It was difficult for Kakashi to fight this many men. There were hundreds of them. He had been in difficult spots before during the Great Third Ninja War, when he fought with his comrades Obito, Rin, and his Sensei Naruto's father, Minato. But it was overwhelming; he was getting tired. He was overtaxing himself by using his Sharingan.
He was hoping his students would come to his aid soon; he doesn't know how long he can last. He sees Naruto alongside Dorothea and Shez, with Zabuza's sword on her back at least half of it anyway.
"I'm glad you're all here. I could really use your help."
Kakashi said he was relieved that his students had arrived when they did.
"No problem," Dorothea said as her eyes turned red. Kakashi couldn't believe it; this girl had a Sharingan, which was an unlikely possibility among them. A Uchiha descendant was with his class, and he would focus on that later. Right now, his goal was to make sure his students got out of this alive.
"Be careful with that," Kakashi advised.
"I will", she replied to the bandits. She looked into their eyes, getting dizzy apparently. Her Sharingan was able to cast illusions and easily disrupt her enemies' perception, powerful despite it not being that well developed yet.
She could use Chidori, as she had Sharingan.
"Pay attention to what I'm about to show you."
Kakashi said, as he did the appropriate hand signs. His right hand faced the ground, where lightning bolts appeared. He charged. This was a powerful jutsu; he couldn't use it again after this, but it would be worth it to give the girl an extra technique to help her survive.
He killed five bandits using this jutsu. It was powerful. He wondered how Dorothea could use it.
She did exactly what Kakashi did; it was so easy, it felt like cheating in a way. The Sharingan made it so easy to learn a jutsu. All she had to do was see it once. Instead of charging like Naruto's sensei, she decided to try something else with the jutsu. Even though it was on the spot, she raised her hand in the air. There was lightning in the clouds, and then she shouted. She didn't know why, but it felt right. The name of this jutsu.
"Lightning-style God's judgment", a hand in the sky struck and killed at least 50 bandits at once, injuring 50 others. Everyone was amazed by the sheer power this jutsu had. Then she felt a sharp pain in her eyes.
"Damn it, what is" she had almost collapsed in pain. Naruto went to her side.
"Are you okay, Dorothea-chan?" The pain in her eyes was unbearable; her eyes went back to their normal green. She was breathing heavily.
"You used too much chakra", said Kakashi.
"An interesting turn of events, another Uchiha. I never thought there would be another survivor after the massacre."
She looked and saw a raven-haired man wearing an orange mask that only exposed his right eye in front of her. There was a black cloak with red stripes.
"Who the hell are you?" asked Naruto.
"Naruto, stay calm"Ordered, Kakashi.
"Who's to say would you like to play for a little bit?"asked the masked man said playfully.
"He's not who he seems."
She warned that she would get into a fighting stance.
"An interesting turn of events involving a descendant of the Uchiha, the carrier of the Kyuubi, and a girl with purple hair who looks strange. This caused Shez to activate a strange power. Her hair turned a bright purple, her skin was pale, and her eyes changed color to something that looked like a flame."
"Interesting, so you are the latest experiment"
The mask man said with interest.
"What the hell are you talking about?"
She asked demandingly.
"I have no idea what you're talking about what was your question?."
He was mocking them again. Dorothea would give anything to get up and smack that annoying and arrogant mask man in front of them, but she couldn't. She didn't possess the strength; she after she used that jutsu.
"I'm amazed that jitsu didn't kill you after all, using something so powerful after you just awakened your Sharingan. I must say, you could be quite a powerful ally or enemy." His tone became serious.
Naruto stood in front of her, acting as a shield to protect her." The host of the Kyūbi cannot stop me; you are nowhere near ready to fight me, Naruto Uzumaki." She didn't know who this man was; something about him made her feel uneasy.
"Shez, we will take him on together."
Naruto looks at Shez.
"I will stay with her," Kakashi said, referring to Dorothea.
She was going to use this power for the first time since forever in a real battle. Just who was this person she was fighting against? She went straight towards him, but he dodged her casually. She could have sworn she stabbed him, but it was as if he were not there and then he was.
Naruto created Shadow clones, and then did hand signs. He communicated with with a nonverbal gesture to move out of the way because the jitsu he was about to use could harm her, so she jumped out of the way.
"Wind style wind explosion"
The shadow clones as if they were doing a Kamikaze attack, the shuttle clone self-destructed and exploded; she jumped in the air. Now she knew why he had communicated. It was like blades were everywhere. Kakashi jumped as well with Dorothea. They were safely away. he did it, but you can never be too careful with a jutsu like this.
There was smoke, she wondered if this jiu-jitsu did any harm. Then she saw the man; he was uninjured, as if nothing they had done had damaged him.
"What the hell are we dealing with?" she asked her companion inside.
"I don't know something about him makes me uneasy whatever the Sharingan is it's not a power that I'm comfortable with I feel like our powers don't work as well with it around." Said Arval she couldn't believe what she had heard. There's no way that man had the Sharingan, other than Kakashi and Sasuke, and the recently discovered Dorothea. Nobody else had it. While there was the criminal from Konoha, Itachi Uchiha. Nobody else had it. Why did she feel uneasy, though?
She decided to use her powers against him after landing on the ground. Then, she ran to him at lightning speed and fought him in close quarters combat.
In a smooth motion, he dodged her. His idiotic persona was apparently a mask; something about this man there was more to him than meets the eye.
He is much stronger than anyone she has ever faced. By this point, he is way beyond even Byleth Eisner. She couldn't win this fight; he was way too powerful.
She saw an arrow shoot straight through him; it was Claude, along with his group.
Surrender, and I'll spare your life." Claude said as he aimed another arrow at him.
"It's amusing to think that someone like you would be in a place like this, so Naruto Uzumaki chose the Golden Deer." She didn't know how that was relevant.
"A ninja team from Konoha could easily have taken care of these pathetic bandits. Apparently there's a shortage of men these days."
Then he turned his eyes directly at her.
"Sparing you for now helps with my goals interesting developments Shez you and I will meet again. You can count on that."then he looked at Naruto and Dorothea who was on her knees as a result of the overuse of the Sharingan.
"Itachi will find it amusing that an Uchiha still lives, and that she is a student of the Black Eagles." He looked straight at Dorothea.
"Dorothea Arnault, I call you Dorothea Uchiha. I'm looking forward to meeting you again, my dear." He said with his silly persona and then disappeared in a flash, as if he were never there.
A few days later
They're about to head back Garreg Mach Claude can help but think about what has happened one of their classmates is one of the last survivors of a near extinct clan. Dorothea was silent ever since the Revelation came out she kept to herself. Then there was another person he saw the boy with the feminine face Haku he wore his paint Komodo and he was looking out at the ocean. He didn't know what to say to him.
It was almost time to leave, and Gaara wasn't there yet. There were new classmates, but he hadn't shown up yet. What was taking so long? Was he doing cleanup? He wondered if he didn't have to wait much longer, since he saw him with two other people: one of them was a girl who looked about 20 years old, and the other looked around 19 years old.
"Are you sure about this, Gaara?" asked the older man.
"I'm positive about this, Kankuro," said Gaara calmly.
"It's just so strange going to some foreign land at a school that none of us know anything about." Kankuro replied.
"It's a good opportunity for us to forge peace between nations we could benefit from outside knowledge. I agree with Gaara on this." The woman added.
Then they realized they had been eavesdropped on by Gaara, who had already met Claude before apologizing.
"I'm sorry, Claude, for taking so long. My siblings didn't want me to leave my homeland without them, and it was the only way for my father to agree to let me go. was to let them go with me, Gaara explained."
" Your siblings?"Claude asked, noticing the resemblance, thinking they might be siblings.
"So, you're Claude", asked Kankuro, who looked at him with interest.
"Has Naruto told you about me?" he asked.
"No, I just heard it from my brother. I don't relish being in a foreign land, but if it brings peace to our nations, then I'll do it." Kankuro said respectfully.
"Just because all of us are with you on this trip, it doesn't mean all of us are joining your class, Claude. Remember that." said the eldest of the group.
"Temari is as cool as ever; I see what a drag said Shikamaru."
"Do you also know each other?" Claude asked curiously to Shikamaru.
"Oh, it's nothing. If you want to know, he gave up on a match because he was too lazy to finish it, even though he had won. I mean, how can you win a match and then give it up?" Temari said, chuckling at the memory.
"I could totally see it," Claude said, laughing at whatever he called. The times when he gave up on a game because he was bored.
"There's one thing I would like to know Claude before I join your class what are your goals?"asked Gaara he had a serious look on his face.
"It would take a long time to explain" Claude said, trying to avoid the subject.
"We have plenty of time in the next 7 days. I would like to know your goals, if I am not satisfied, I will choose another house." Gaara said with a serious tone.
He walked past him, along with his siblings. Things were going to get even more complicated from now on. More people from the Five Nations would be there. Would there be more? He didn't know.
He had a strong feeling things would be a lot more difficult from now on than they were before the mission that they went on.
Little does Claude realize how right he would be, and how the rest of the house's missions would change with their respective leaders and members seeing things differently. This would just be the beginning.
While the golden deer class is on its way back, Itachi Uchiha would pay a visit to Orochimaru to remind him of his true loyalties.
At an unknown location, with Itachi Uchiha
Itachi was finally at his destination after days of tedious travel. He looked at the lair that Orochimaru had closed enough to the monastery, worried it was easy to get in and out without being noticed but far enough away where the residents wouldn't notice how close the lair truly was. It was a good strategic spot, but Orochimaru of all people it should have been given to someone more worthy.
Orochimaru had his uses; he was aware of that, but he was also someone who would betray the Akatsuki the first chance he got if it was beneficial to him. There's one thing he coveted more than anything: the Sharingan, something he would never let anyone have, not because he has some sort of pride of his clan; it's because he thinks any inferior" being like himself should not possess it.
His partner, Kisame, by his side, was as bored as Itachi was. This was a task for an errand boy Itachi is no errand boy. The lab had all sorts of experiments; some of them were stolen from the monastery's crest. If only the archbishop weren't a fool, it was so easy for the Akatsuki to steal the crest stones of the dead, forgotten race that he doesn't even care to remember their names.
He saw many experiments that Orochimaru tried using these crests, but few were successful. Orochimaru's advanced knowledge of science was his biggest asset, making him useful to the Akatsuki. Orochimaru's ambition in science was knowledge.
He saw Orochimaru in his lab coat, working on his experiments, treating Itachi and Kisame as if they weren't there, ignoring their presence. Itachi took a kunai and threw it.
Orochimaru caught a kunai between his two index fingers and threw it back at Itachi.
"Please don't damage my equipment. You know how angry I get when my equipment is damaged in any way."
Orochimaru said with a controlled calm.
"You know why I'm here, stop wasting our time."
Itachi said on the verge of losing his patience.
"Inpatient, aren't we, Itachi? So unlike you; I take it Sasuke wasn't up to your satisfaction?" He said with a grin, knowing he was on point.
"You will not speak of things that do not concern you," Itachi said coldly.
"You didn't come here to threaten me, Itachi. The Akatsuki could have sent anyone to do that; Zetsu could have done that, so spare me the threats and tell me what's required. I've got experiments to work on, and I'd rather not waste my time on meaningless chatter." Orochimaru snapped.
Itachi tossed a scroll to Orochimaru, who read it.
"The chalice of beginnings the Akatsuki wants me to get a hold of it Kabuto, will do just fine for such a purpose. After all, my spy will be perfect; he'll join one of the classes in the monastery. The Black Eagles would be preferable, but only if a chance presents itself."
Itachi wanted to snap it could be they wouldn't trust this man with such an important task?
"There has to be a mistake," he said uncharacteristically.
"Pain's orders are absolute; he wouldn't make such a mistake. He entrusted me with this task, not you."
Orochimaru said condescendingly, enjoying rubbing it in that he was getting an important task and not Itachi.
"If it weren't for Pain, I would kill you where you stand, Orochimaru."
Itachi said this contentiously; he hated Orochimaru.
He coveted the Sharingan and nothing Made Itachi sicker than a inferior desiring such power that is his by right.
"You should be careful, Itachi. I've heard of your power that makes you blind eventually."
Orochimaru said it mockingly.
He was going to kill him, but he didn't care about any orders. When he was about to give in to his impulses, Kisame put his hand on his shoulder and had a hand on his blade.
"Sorry, Itachi-san. I cannot have you kill a member of the Akatsuki, especially when we're not ordered to do so."
Kisame brought him out of his bloodlust; he relented and left Orochimaru's lair. one of these days. He would kill him and all the inferior beings that hold him down. Itachi Uchiha was going to be greater than his ancestor ever was. He wasn't going to be a loser like his predecessors.
He was one of the last worthy Uchiha, the only one.
Everyone the class was shocked with this revelation; none was more shocked than Dorothea herself an Uchiha. They were on their way home after they were done with the mission they rounded up the bandits that survived the ones that weren't killed by her judgment jitsu they were sentenced to prison the bridge was on the process of being built back as scheduled but they had to return.
Revealing she was an Uchiha, a descendant of one anyway all her life she had always wondered where she came from? Her mother never told her about her grandmother. The only thing she said was that she wanted to forget the life she had once lived, but why?
When she looks at herself in the mirror when she sees those eyes, those same eyes that Sasuke has. She had seen them a few times when Sasuke was training the Sharingan fascinated and terrified her.
Something about it scared her, like it was a curse somehow. She heard a knock on her door and then, when she found out who it was, it was Kakashi.
"How are you holding up, Dorothea?" Kakashi she asked her.
"This is overwhelming; I just found out that I'm a descendant of one of the most prestigious clans in the five nations. I should feel honored, but I feel terrified like this whole thing is going to consume me. I don't want this, Kakashi sensei." She admitted as much as she enjoyed having the extra power when she got it, but the battle 4 days ago made her scared. Her classmates. What would they think?
"It's a power that's terrifying; I'll admit, when I first had it, it was overwhelming to me. It changed how I fought the Sharingan is one of the most powerful eyes on the planet; such awesome power, and potentially for both good and evil." She understood that well.
"Naruto's worried about you" Kakashi said, this caught her off guard.
"Why?" she asked him.
"There's something else that you need to know, but it's Naruto's secret to tell. There's a reason why the village he's from treats him the way they do." She didn't know if she liked where this was going.
"I've heard they treated him like shit, like he's some sort of demon and a pest I know that."
Kakashi signed.
"There's a lot more than that, but I cannot tell you; I'm not authorized to do so, but know that Naruto is not afraid of you, and neither are my students from Konoha; they may be of the sudden revelation, but they'll get over it."
Yeah, but she didn't have all this power that she had a latent power where was it when she needed it? If she were angry, she could have protected her mother when her mother was murdered..
"Why didn't I have this power when I needed it?" She was on the verge of shouting, Kakashi recoiled.
"I'm sorry, Dorothea. I don't have the answers. The only thing I can do for you is train you on how to use your powers, but that will require you to do something that you may not want to do at least for the time being." She wondered what he was getting at.
"If you transfer to the Golden Deer, it will make things a lot easier. I can train you in private lessons to ensure that you can control your powers so they won't manifest themselves at a time when it could endanger you. There are spies within Root who would report directly to their leader about a surviving Uchiha in Fodlan; they see the Sharingan as a weapon they would use if they knew there was a survivor, especially if she were female."
He took a deep breath.
"There is a law in Konoha that forces women who are the last of their clans to breed until they bear enough children to pass on."
She didn't want to hear any more about this, which angered her at the idea that a foreign nation could just kidnap her and make her a breeding stock.
"I will not become a breeding stock" she screamed at Kakashi after learning what she had just learned.
"I don't want you to become one; that's why I'm offering you training. it's better as little as people as possible know about your secret for your own protection."
She didn't need anyone's protection, and she thought about Hinata Ingrid and all of her Black Eagle friends. If she were to train to get stronger, she could protect them. With the Sharingan, she would have an extra weapon in her arsenal. She couldn't make a decision like that lately because the potential life-changing choice it could be.
"You don't have to make the choice right now. Think about it, consider it. Though I won't be an easy teacher," Kakashi warned.
"Will I be able to protect my friends if you train me to control it?" she asked, desperately hoping for something she didn't want to make the choice to leave her house, but this power she had, if it could protect those she loved.
Kakashi, as if he could read her mind, said one last thing.
"Do not rush into this decision; I make it no secret that having the Sharingan has changed you in ways you don't yet know. There are things about the Sharingan that you don't know; it's a dangerous power, as dangerous to the user as it is to the enemy it's used against." She wondered what Kakashi meant.
"what do you mean?" Dorothea asked him concernedly.
"Don't worry about it for now. Relax for the rest of the trip. You won't have much time to do so when you return."
Kakashi bid her farewell and left, shutting her door; he left her alone with her thoughts.
This journey they've been on for almost a month; she had thought about it what she changed in the past month. Naruto she went from hating him to actually liking him. Yeah, he can piss her off sometimes, but it was hard not to like him. He's kind and loyal to his friends. He wants to work things out with her, Hinata, and Ingrid.
Ingrid, she thought she loved her so much that she never wanted to love again or love anyone like she loves her.
Then she met Hinata, sweet, cute, and beautiful, but her love for Ingrid never faded. She felt like a hypocrite when she thought about it. Naruto couldn't choose between them, and neither could she. She loved them both and didn't want to choose in an ideal world; she would like to have them both.
She would talk to Naruto tonight. They have something to discuss before the inevitable talk they would have with Hinata and Ingrid, which was inevitable.
She took a deep breath and, with all of her courage, left her room and headed to Naruto's.
Naruto is in his room, thinking about the results of the mission they liberated the Land of Waves and encountered a masked man with red stripes. He was far more powerful than anything Naruto had ever imagined. Nothing that Naruto did could touch him he felt completely powerless.
It was as if he were there, yet not there; as if he had manipulated space and time; he couldn't protect his friends especially couldn't protect Dorothea. He felt completely powerless.
"You are protective of your mates, which is good; otherwise, you wouldn't be a good mate." Kyubi said, giving him sage advice.
"Things are getting really confusing. I mean, how can I want her as well? How can I like her? I mean, damn it! Why does this have to be so damn confusing?" Naruto said, frustrated that he had developed feelings for Dorothea during their trip. This was stupid and irrational; Hinata was one thing because he had loved her for years.
Ingrid he loves her spirit and her determination. She wasn't willing to give up; she worked hard and she was a strong, capable woman. Everything he wanted Sakura to be now that he thinks about it.
He shook his head quickly; it was an insult to compare Ingrid to that banshee.
He didn't have much time to indulge in his thoughts before he heard a knock.
He got up from his bed when he opened the door and saw Dorothea.
"Naruto would it be okay if we talked?" Dorothea asked him with a serious expression on her face.
"I'm staying out of this one; you're on your own, kit." He cut off his link with him. Naruto needed to say something.
"Of course", Naruto said.
The brunette woman closed the door behind them and performed a sealing technique, sealing anything they might have said so they could leave the room.
"Naruto, I want to know something. Why do those people back at your home hate you so much? I want to know."
Naruto realized what she was asking.
He wanted to ask for guidance from Kyuubi, but he couldn't; he was on his own.
How can he tell Dorothea when Hinata doesn't even know? He looked away from her, afraid of her reaction, of what he's about to tell her.
"Have you ever heard of the Kyubi, also known as the nine-tailed fox?"
Naruto asked.
"Yes, I have. It was one of the things we were required to be taught in the cultural exchange program to learn about the history of the five nations where you're from. Why do you ask?" she asked him wondering what he was getting at.
"The day the fourth Hokage died was was I born and the day Kyubi was sealed inside a newborn child ,"Naruto answered.
Her eyes widened.
"I don't see how that has anything to do with oh" she pieced it together so quickly.
"What?" Naruto asked, afraid of what Dorothea would say next.
What Naruto saw in her eyes was that of anger and sadness over what he had gone through, and she spoke with a righteous anger.
"You're telling me those people treated you like shit for 17 fucking years all because of something you have no control over?"
Dorothea, on the verge of blowing up, had never seen her so angry.
" Yeah, I didn't know it at the time. If I hadn't been told by him," she said, wide-eyed.
" What do you mean?" she asked him.
Naruto realized the Moment of Truth had arrived; he couldn't hide it any longer; it was now or never; he was going to reveal the truth.
Naruto began removing his shirt, first removing the top layer and placing it on the floor before removing his undershirt. If that had worked in the darkened room, it would have been challenging to notice Dorothea blush deeply in a shade of crimson.
"Damn, he's hot!" she couldn't help but say to herself. He was ripped, with a lean upper body, even though the situation was serious. She couldn't help admiring his body but then she noticed markings on his stomach; they looked like a tattoo, at least that's what it looked like to someone from the outside, but that's not what it was; it was a seal from the looks of it.
Then she saw an orange or a form outside of the stomach which surprised her and then when it was done there was a small Fox he had orange fur he looked at her curiously.
"It's even better outside the seal than looking at it from inside nice"
Her mind almost went blank a a talking plushie? She went on her knees to be where he was, he was sitting up like a dog waiting for approval from his owner.
"How cute," she said as she lifted him up, pressing his body against her chest. Naruto looked annoyed, while Kyūbi looked like he had a shit-eating grin.
"Damn, I didn't expect that!" She then realized where he was, and couldn't help but say it.
"Okay, I should have known that Naru-chan has a perverted fox inside of him."
Dorothea couldn't help but say it in annoyance at the fox who was in Naruto. He looked annoyed at her and then said something that made her face turn crimson all over again.
"Chan and not Kun?What an amusing development this is yes but we're getting sidetracked here. Yes I am the nine-tailed fox Spirit as I am known in your home continent but back home I am called Kyubi. I've been inside Naruto's body since the day he was born unfortunately."she could help but pick up Kyubi was irritated that he was inside Naruto's body she had no idea how would something like the nine-tailed fox end up inside the body of a human perhaps she decided to ask her next question.
But before she could do that, he got off of her and sat on Naruto's bed.
"Okay, I got distracted by your cuteness. I have a question, though: how did you end up inside his body, who sealed you there?" she asked.
"It's a long story, but I'd rather just say it once. I won't reveal it at this time, at least not until Naruto's other mates are present."
"What about his mates? Oh," she knew immediately and blushed a deep shade of red. She wanted to chastise herself; why was she blushing like a schoolgirl when it came to Naruto?
"That's" she couldn't get the words out, one of Naruto's mates. What the hell was this creature saying?
"What the hell are you talking about, mate?" Dorothea asked him.
Kyubi chuckled.
"I'll leave that for you and Kit to sort out. I would rather tell it to everyone that the kit is involved with, so I don't have to repeat myself now that you know the real reason why the villagers of Konoha hated him. I'll let you two figure this out now; I'm going to sleep back inside the seal." She saw the fox spirit chakra go back into Naruto's stomach.
Naruto had no idea what to say; Dorothea knows his secret, not even Hinata and Ingrid know he sat down on his bed, wondering what he was going to say next.
"I didn't know Naru-chan. I mean..." She was struggling to get the words out.
"It's fine, Dorothea-chan. Really." Naruto said, saving face as he didn't want to appear weak in front of her or Hinata and Ingrid. He couldn't appear too weak in front of them.
"No, it's not. Damn it! They treated you like shit for 17 years for something that wasn't your fault. How are you not angry? I would be if I had a fox spirit sealed inside of me. I would want to burn the very place that made my life hell. Those fuckers! But to think you're likely the best of them." She said that last part quietly.
"If it weren't for my friends from Konoha, especially if it weren't for Hinata-chan, I probably would have gone insane. She was the first one to believe in me." Naruto said with honesty.
"I love her, Dorothea Chan. She's been through a lot. I just want to hold her and protect her and tell her it will be okay. I feel so useless. I don't deserve her, I don't deserve Ingrid either, but I can't help it. I love her as well."
Dorothea sat next to him.
He didn't realize that he was crying; she was wiping the tears.
"I can't imagine what you've gone through. I don't know if I would be as strong as you. I wouldn't be. Those people back at your home don't deserve someone like you. Do you truly want to be the Hokage, Naru Chan? Do you truly want to be acknowledged by such people?" Dorothea asked him.
He had to be honest; he couldn't lie.
"I don't know," he said with honesty.
"So what do we do, Naru-chan? Could we really share her?" she asked him.
"Yes, I could. I know I'm being greedy by having two partners, but I don't want anyone to feel like a third wheel. I don't want that for you or Ingrid Chan or Hinata Chan. I wish to make all of you happy. There's only one way I can do that."
Naruto took a deep breath. It was now or never; he had thought about it for four days. He was confident in his decision, there would be no turning back. What was about to be said could not be unsaid. He would not back away; he would not go back on his word.
"I know it's been a short amount of time. I hope in time I could be in your heart too, Dorothea-chan. Will you be my girlfriend?"
Her mind froze; he was asking her to be part of his harem, and Hinata she wouldn't mind sharing with them or even Ingrid she loves both of them, but the idea was absurd. However, she couldn't help but see the appeal of it.
She would have Hinata; she would have Ingrid as well; maybe in time she would grow to love Naruto like they do. She found him to be handsome. She couldn't lie; she liked what she saw when she saw his body. She liked him as a person too; she enjoyed his laugh, his smile, the way he lifts other people's spirits.
She could see herself falling for him and probably would have had she met him before Hinata. Had he joined the Black Eagles instead no she will not indulge in one if's she would have a lot to talk about with Hinata and Ingrid when they return.
Would it really hurt to share Naruto with them?
He doesn't have to offer her a place in their harem; he wants it to be mutual for all parties involved, with care and love among them.
It wouldn't have worked otherwise; she closed her eyes and thought about it everything that she had been through in the past month. Her jealousy before she got a chance to really know Naruto.
She was attracted to him when she first saw him, but when he got together with Hinata, that changed. There was a time she hated him. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't; she couldn't help but notice the real Naruto, the one that he doesn't show to others, the one that he only shows to Hinata and Ingrid and recently herself. She could probably list a few others; Claude probably be one of the other examples, but hardly anyone sees the real Naruto; they just see the class clown he shows them what they want to see.
When she sees his eyes, they are sad; she can see insecurity there, just like with Hinata. She can understand why they click so well; they all can confide in one another and don't have to hide their insecurities. They could simply talk about them because they won't be judged.
Naruto isn't judgmental. Hinata isn't judgmental. Ingrid, her first love isn't judgmental. They all have a good heart. All of them. She should say no; that's what anyone else would have done, but she wasn't going to do that.
Society's norms, which she rejects, are what she and Naruto were going to do, but she doesn't care. She'll find happiness in her own way.
"If Hinaa is okay then so am I, " she said with a warm smile.
"I will show all of you how much you mean to me."
Naruto wrapped both of his arms around her waist, and she didn't resist him. He kissed her, and he wasn't gentle with her when he kissed her. His lips tasted sweet. She shouldn't be kissing him; he's Hinata's boyfriend, but she agreed to share him.
It wasn't cheating; she couldn't help but wonder if Hinata was doing the same thing, if Ingrid was doing the same thing with Hinata as she was with Naruto?
She couldn't think about it as Naruto started moving his hands under her skirt. she tried but failed to resist a moan.
"Oh God."
If he were any other man, she'd push him away, but his advances are not unwelcomed. The worst thing about her is that she wanted him to do this to her ever since she laid eyes on him.
"Don't hold back, dear diva. Let it all out."
He said seductively.
"Oh fuck!" She moaned loudly enough for everyone to hear, if not for the sound seal on the entire boat, would have heard her.
"Damn, that was sexy the way you moaned" Naruto said with a perverted smile.
"Damn you" she said as he started to unbutton her shirt, which exposed her chest.
"Absolutely amazing" Naruto threw her shirt across the room, which fully exposed her chest.
"You don't wear a bra? Curious?" He asked her.
"They're uncomfortable and I hate wearing them." She confessed, causing her to blush.
"That makes things easier" Naruto said with a grin. He removed her skirt and tossed it to the floor. The only thing left covering her were her lower undergarments.
She couldn't believe it was happening; she was about to sleep with Naruto Uzumaki. She should feel guilty for sleeping with Hinata's boyfriend, but she doesn't feel guilty.
"Whatever pain you have gone through, I will make it a distant memory, my beloved Diva." What did he mean by that?
She lay down on her back in order to make it easier for Naruto to do what he desired to do. He removed her panties and tossed them to the floor, exposing her body for him to see. He wasn't the first man she'd slept with, but he was the most handsome and best-looking.
"Everything about you, from your hips to your breasts to your ass, is hard to describe. You're like a goddess sent from heaven."
Naruto spread his legs, and she didn't understand what Naruto was doing until Naruto started to eat her out.
OH GOD! He was a natural the way he moved his tongue inside of her; it was nothing she could describe. Nobody had ever pleased her like this before, and Naruto was like an expert. As if he were naturally gifted.
Dorothea feel herself cum hard, it was the first orgasm that made her stop thinking she couldn't believe it. How did such things exist? Hinata had get a chance to have fun like this with this sex demon? There's no way she hadn't.
"How badly do you want my cock in you?" Naruto said as he got closer to her ear. She saw the look of lust in his eyes. He wanted her just as much as she wanted him, but there was more than lust. It was a mixture of something else. She dismissed that thought.
"Love of God, stop teasing me and just fuck me already!" she said, annoyed at his teasing.
"Impatient, aren't we ?" Naruto said with a smile.
"God, you're an asshole." She said as he continued to tease her by playing around with his member at her entrance.
She didn't know how his large penis would fit inside of her, so she didn't care; she just wanted him to fuck her.
"If you say 'please,' I'll give you what you want." Naruto said playfully. Does he and Hinata do this every time they make love?
There was no way she could go on like this.
"Please," she said pleadingly. Naruto did exactly as she requested. He slowly inserted his rod inside of her. She was caught off guard at first by the size, but got over it quickly. It felt incredible; it wasn't the first time she had a cock inside of her, but none of them compared to his. The way he started to thrust inside of her, she held on to his back tightly. He held on to her hips. They were in a sitting position. She was riding him like a stallion. Her breasts were bouncing as he used her hips for momentum.
"Oh God," she was trying her hardest not to collapse; he was wasn't rough with her, but he wasn't gentle either. Her hair was messy, and they were both sweating. They were fucking like rabbits for at least 30 minutes; she couldn't believe she lasted this long with such a large member inside of her—it was huge.
While Naruto was pounding inside of her, he sucked his breast; she didn't know how he was able to do it.
She knew he was hitting his limit. Naruto took out his member and jacked off as he came all over her face. She consumed his seed.
She didn't want it end not now she was just getting started.
As if he could read her mind, they switched positions. This time, she was on all fours like a dog. He grabbed her ass and inserted his member inside her. She moaned.
"Oh my fucking god", it felt incredible; she never had a man inside her asshole; it felt amazing; it was nothing like she imagined; her insides; she didn't care if it was being ripped hard or rearranged; it felt the most incredible she'd ever felt before.
None of her other would-be lovers ever pleased her like Naruto, who was the best of all her male lovers; he slapped her ass, and she wanted him to continue, wanting him to dominate her.
"Damn, you're a naughty girl. How much do you want me to dominate you?"Naruto said in his dirty talk he got close to her ear and lifted her face up by her chin.
.
"Just shut the fuck up and fuck me until I can't walk."
She shouldn't even want to do this with him, but he couldn't help it; she desired him sexually for a while.
Despite the contradiction earlier, she wanted him as her man no our man corrected referring to Naruto as her,Hinata and Ingrid man. She didn't want any other person looking at her but. And she was determined to make that happen.
He took his cock out of her ass and put it back into her pussy and pounded it again; he sucked on her neck on her right side, and she shivered in pleasure. All he knew how to do to make her scream was simply touch her.
"Fuck me harder, Naru Chan! Make me your woman. I'm yours."
There was no turning back for what she had just said, but she meant it.
Dorothea is one of Naruto's women now.
Naruto hungrily pressed his lips on her as continues to fuck her harder.
Was it love, or was it lust? Or maybe a little of both? It doesn't matter right now; all she wants is for Naruto to forget about those villagers, to forget about the pain of his past and focus only on her.
Dorothea was reaching her limit and she knew Naruto was reaching his limit too; they'd been doing it for almost 2 hours, their bodies were smashing against each other Non-Stop. Even accidentally, he had cummed in her a few times; they hadn't paid attention as they switched positions more times than she could count. The last position he was on top of her, she couldn't believe what she was doing; she was taking a huge chance; she could get pregnant by letting him do what he's doing to her. He was about to cum for the third time.
"NARU CHAN!" she screamed on the top of her lungs.
"DOROTHEA-CHAN!" they both cummed at the same time.
They both collapsed in exhaustion after having sex for two hours.
"That was incredible" Dorothea said to Naruto.
He played with her hair; she couldn't help but look into his eyes, which were so beautiful that she thought. She can look at them all day, but then she realized what she was thinking: no, it couldn't be.
"That was incredible"Naruto said, praising her.
"Thank you," he said, blushing and burying his head in her chest.
"There's no need to blush; you're beautiful. Everything about you is wonderful: your voice, your soul, everything. It's been a short time, but I've grown fond of you, Dorothea Chan. I hope in the future it could become something more."
Naruto said to her, kissing her on the forehead.
She couldn't tell Naruto, knowing she felt that way about him, without telling Hinata first that she loves her.
"We will have a lot to talk about when we get back." Naruto said with a smile.
She thinks about the image her, Naruto, Ingrid, and Hinata sharing a bed, lying next to each other completely naked after a long night of lovemaking. She blushes at the thought of a four-way. Oh, my! he must think I'm a pervert.
"It's been a long day, tomorrow we'll have another 2 days stuck on a boring ship ride. What will we do?" Dorothea's new boyfriend asked.
"Well, other than eating, maybe I'd like to have as much fun as possible with just the two of us if you know what I mean." She said with a sedative smile.
"I wouldn't mind if you were incredible, and I wouldn't mind having a few more rounds, but not tonight - I need some sleep."
Naruto said, closing his eyes. Dorothea did the same.
One day she could see herself loving Naruto, but for now that was for the future. Though for now she just wanted to sleep; he wrapped his arms around her. She slept, dreaming about a future with her partners.
That's it for this chapter. It was a long chapter, but the next one will be even longer. Just to clarify: Only Naruto and Hinata's sex scenes will be heavily explicit like the one you just read. I won't do that for everyone.
Hopefully, this won't get flagged. I would hate for anything to happen to my story. Anyway, see you guys next time with another chapter.
