Beginning A/N: Welcome back, everyone, to a brand-new chapter of this story! You'll notice that I took longer to update this story since it involved a fight scene between Izuku and Shampoo. I wanted to make sure that it was as good of a fight scene as I could make it because, as you know, I have a history for writing crappy fight scenes. But hopefully, this one is good enough to meet everyone's expectations. Plus, I didn't have a lot of time to write recently. Also, just to avoid confusion, let's just say that Izuku, Ranma, Cologne and Shampoo have already gone through introductions in the previous chapter.

Disclaimer: I still don't own My Hero Academia, Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal, or Ranma ½!

Combat and Marriage!

Everyone had once again gathered at the log in the center of the village. Shampoo and Izuku were doing some stretches to loosen up before their fight and everyone was eager to see it. As Izuku was doing his stretches he put his big brain to good use as he had managed to analyze the purple haired girl's fighting style somewhat during her earlier fight.

'She's clearly very strong despite her build. And she has more than enough speed to go with that strength. With my own inexperience as a fighter, I'll have to fight defensively if I want to last longer than eight seconds against her. She's obviously got weapons training so it may be smart to keep my distance and strike whenever I see an opening.'

("Are you ready, Izuku?") Shampoo asked as she climbed up on the log.

Izuku also stood upon the log, keeping his balance as he slipped into the opening stance for Dragon Style Kung Fu.

("I'm ready whenever you are, Xian Pu. Let's have a good, clean fight.") Izuku said.

The purple haired Amazon nodded and replied, ("And may the better fighter win!")

With the obligatory banter out of the way, Xian Pu struck hard and fast as she opened up with a flying drop kick. Normally, Izuku would have become all flustered due to the fact that she was wearing what appeared to be a red Chinese style dress and red Chinese shoes that looked like slippers. But he was able to keep his composure and leap over his opponent, flipping through the air as he landed on his feet and turned around just in time to catch her fist. He threw a punch of his own, which she also caught, leaving them both caught in a grapple as they began trying to knee each other in the stomach only for their opponent to block with a knee strike of their own every time.

Now, ordinarily, Izuku would be averse to ever striking a woman. Especially since his mother raised him to be a gentleman. But Xian Pu was no ordinary woman. She was a born warrior, and he would not disrespect her in this challenge by refusing to fight. Besides, he knew that he would have to put aside his feelings about fighting back against the fairer sex if he was going to become a hero. Female villains especially don't pull any punches, and some of them know how to use seduction to their full advantage.

Anyway, back to the fight.

Izuku was finally able to break the stalemate when he hit Shampoo in the face with a headbutt that sent her stumbling back. This left an opening for Izuku to get in a few good hits as he started throwing punches at his temporarily dazed opponent. But that didn't last long as Shampoo quickly recovered and started to dodge and deflect his strikes while throwing some of her own. If one were to compare this fight to anything, one might say that it reminded them of a combination of when Goku first fought Vegeta during the Saiyan Saga of Dragon Ball Z, and when they fought again when Vegeta became Majin Vegeta during the Buu Saga.

"Izuku's pretty good for a beginner. Nowhere near master level, but definitely efficient." Ranma said, surprised that he even knew that word.

His fat panda of a father never did focus much on his education, so he was definitely far behind his peers in terms of book smarts. He knows that.

Cologne nodded as she watched and said, "Yes indeed. He seems to compensate by using his mind to analyze his opponent's fighting style and strategize on the fly. It's really quite impressive."

She could see that Izuku wasn't an ordinary fighter, and she's not talking about his lack of formal training. He seems to learn how to fight abnormally fast as he's fighting against someone. Already he's begun to pick up on her Great-Granddaughter's fighting style just from the several brief exchanges that they've had thus far. She couldn't help but smirk. If this fight goes how she thinks it will go then this could be the start of something wonderful.

And it could provide her with a little entertainment as well.

Izuku had just dodged a few more punches and caught Shampoo's roundhouse kick while utilizing the fluid dance-like movements of Dragon Style. Or as he liked to call it, his Crazy Feet. This was difficult to do while balancing on a log, but he was managing well. He adjusted his grip so that he could grab Shampoo by the ankle and with a grunt of effort he lifted her over his shoulder and slammed her into the log! The wind was knocked out of her, but only for a split second as she quickly went into a handstand and spun around like a helicopter forcing Izuku to block a barrage of kicks that were quickly whittling away at his defenses. And it didn't take much longer than a few seconds for her to break his defense before twirling back up onto her feet and nailing Izuku in the chin with a devastating kick!

As he flew a few feet into the air, Izuku fought through the pain and his rattled senses as he fell, then he grabbed onto the log and managed to swing himself back onto the top. He stumbled upon landing but found his footing just in time to catch Shampoo's fist before twisting his body and using her own momentum to throw her from the log. And unlike Izuku, Shampoo was unable to recover from the experience in time and hit her head upon landing, rendering her out cold. Izuku gasped and quickly jumped from the log down to Shampoo and held her in his arms as he started checking her for any serious injuries, not paying attention to any of the surprised whispers being uttered in Mandarin among the crowd. Though, if one were to pay attention, they would see a pleased smile on Cologne's face.

("Xian Pu, are you okay? I may have gotten a little carried away there! Please tell me you're not dead!") Izuku said, overreacting somewhat.

Though he had a right to overreact when he saw that Shampoo was bleeding a little from her temple.

Speaking of whom, the purple haired Amazon groaned as her eyes fluttered open. She was quick to realize what happened, however, as her look changed from one of slight pain to one of surprise and… happiness?

("You… you have beaten me!") she said as a smile made its way to her face.

Much to Izuku's confusion.

("Um, yes. I did. But why are you-")

But Izuku couldn't finish that sentence because Shampoo had wrapped her arms around him and kissed him smack dab on the lips. Rather passionately, too. Which caused Izuku's face to go so red that he'd make strawberries green with envy. And some people could swear that they saw steam coming out of his ears from how badly he was blushing.

"Whaddya mean they're married now?!" exclaimed Ranma.

Thirty minutes had passed since Izuku and Shampoo's fight, and in that time Izuku and Ranma, along with Genma who was now in human form, had been brought up to speed about Izuku's new situation. Mainly due to the fact that Izuku looked like he would probably pass out from a combination of embarrassment and confusion. Speaking of whom, Izuku just sighed as he sat across from Ranma as they had been invited into Cologne's hut. His new 'wife' was currently leaning up against him with her arms wrapped around his as she rested her head on his shoulder.

"It's just like she said, Ranma. Amazonian law dictates that if a woman from the tribe loses to a man in a fight then she must take him as her husband." Izuku said as he massaged his temple with one hand.

"Well, why didn't ya tell us sooner? Ya basically tricked Izuku into marryin' yer Great-Granddaughter!" Ranma asked as he rounded on the smirking elder.

"There was no trickery involved, Ranma. Midoriya simply accepted a challenge to a spar. It's not my fault that none of you asked if there were any stipulations to whether either side won or lost." Cologne replied.

Ranma has never wanted to smash someone into the ground as much as he wants to do so to the elder right now.

"Just let it go, Ranma." Izuku said. "She's right. I didn't think about the possible consequences of accepting the challenge, and now as a result, I am married to Xian Pu in accordance with their laws."

"Ya shouldn't HAVE to! Yer only fourteen, for cryin' out loud!" exclaimed Ranma.

"Just be glad it wasn't you who challenged her, boy. Otherwise, it'd be you marrying her instead of Midoriya." Genma said before thinking 'Not that it wouldn't be all bad for him. She's quite a looker.'

"And it would be even worse if you had done so in your female form, if you recall the laws regarding the Kiss of Death." Izuku added.

Ranma shuddered at that. He was so glad that Izuku had stopped him and his father from eating the first prize for that tournament, or things could have been so much worse.

"Besides, I don't think of this as a bad thing, Ranma. If anything, it may be a blessing in disguise." Izuku said.

Ranma raised an eyebrow, but he didn't question his new friend. He probably wouldn't be able to understand where he was coming from anyway. He and his father just stood up, they bowed to the elder and thanked her for her hospitality, with Ranma keeping an especially sharp eye on his father to keep him from doing something that would give the Amazons a reason to hunt them down, and they left the hut in order to make preparations to leave the village.

Izuku just sighed as he knew that his life had just become a lot more complicated than it was when he got his curse.

He can only imagine what his mother will say about all of this.
