Chapter 12

Obi-Wans' report and Anakins' nightmare

Back on Kamino Obi-Wan and Taun We were saying their goodbyes before Obi-Wan gave his report to his masters.

"Tell your Council the first battalions are ready, and remind them that if they need more troops, we will need time to grow them." Taun We said.

"I won't forget, and thank you" said Obi-Wan. The storm outside Tipoca city was getting fiercer as lightning struck twice while Obi-Wan was making his way to his ship to contact the Jedi Council looking back making sure that Taun We had left.

"Arfour, relay this, "scramble code five," to Coruscant care of "the old folks home."Obi-Wan said

R4-P17 complied with Obi-Wans request and began to contact Coruscant.

Back on Coruscant in the Jedi Temple, Masters Windu and Yoda were sitting in Yoda's quarters awaiting the progress of Obi-Wans' mission. A hologram of Master Kenobi appeared and began to relay the details of what he had seen.

"I have successfully made contact with thePrime Minister of Kamino. They are using a bounty hunter named Jango Fett to create a clone army. I have a strong feeling that this bounty hunter is the assassin we're looking for said Obi-Wan".

"Do you think these cloners are involved in the plot to assassinate Senator Amidala?" asked Master Windu.

"No, Master. There appears to be no motive. The Autobot chief medical officer Ratchet is also here helping them with technological advances and training for the clones. From what I've heard they seem to have a good relationship with the Autobots said Obi-Wan."

"Do not assume anything, Obi-Wan. Clear, your mind must be if you are to discover the real villains behind the plot said Yoda."

"Yes, Master. They say a Master Sifo-Dyas placed the order for a clone army at the request of the Senate almost ten years ago. I was under the impression he was killed before that. Did the Council ever authorize the creation of a clone army? asked Obi-Wan"

"No. Whoever placed that order did not have the authorization of the Jedi Council." Master Windu said.

"Into custody, take this Jango Fett. Bring him here. Question him, we will.said Yoda"

"Yes, Master. I will report back when I have him said Obi-Wan" as the hologram fades.

"Blind we are, if creation of this clone army we could not see." Yoda said with great concern.

" I think it is time to inform the Senate that our ability to use the Force has diminished said Master Windu."

"Only the Dark Lords of the Sith know of our weakness. If informed the Senate is, multiply our adversaries will." Yoda said.

Back on Naboo Anakin was in his chambers asleep having a horrible nightmare about his mother,Shmi, who was in great pain after this he woke up in a pool of sweat and was afraid.

The next morning the sun rose on the lake retreat as Anakin was on the balcony watching the sun rise and contemplating his next move. Padme and Wheelie had awoken from their sleep and were both headed to see Anakin, however Padme had decided not to disturb him from his thoughts.

"Don't go. Said Anakin".

"I don't want to disturb you said Padme."

"Your presence is soothing said Anakin."

"You had a nightmare again last night said Padme."

"Jedi don't have nightmares said Anakin."

"Sure and all Cybertronians are made of plastic. Kid everybody gets nightmares it's only natural said Wheelie."

" I heard you." Padme said with concern.

Anakin opened his eyes and turned to see the senator and explained what he had seen."I saw my mother. I saw her as clearly as I see you now. She is suffering, Padmé.She is in pain... I know I'm disobeying my mandate to protect you, Senator, but I have to go. I have to help her!"

"I'll go with you said Padme."

"I'm sorry,I don't have a choice said Anakin".

"So we're hittin' the road again huh? Too bad I really liked this place. Oh well better inform Bumblebee we're checking out" said Wheelie as he left to find his Autobot companion.

Thank you guys for being patient with me. I was debating on writing this chapter down because I know it's not the most exciting part, but we carry on and continue the story. Once again I own nothing except for the dialogue that Wheelie has and the small tidbit about the Autobots and the Kaminoans being friends but other than that keep a lookout for the next chapter until then see ya later.
