Tape 1 Introductions

A small one shot Idea i have for izuku. This more of a proof of concept to see how well it's received. It's going to be an Izuku x Angel Gabby work. They both resonated with me on different levels and i thought i'd do this as a test. Anyway on with the fic.

Izuku was currently sitting in his room. His favorite All Might figurine held in hand with a death grip. His head hung low and eyes red from the tears he shed. He had just been given the worst news he could have been given. Quirkless...he was quirkless. What would kaachan think, what would the other kids think. What would his dad think.

As he was contemplating this his bedroom door opens and in walks his mother. The rather good looking woman with long green hair and eyes looks at her son with a sad expression on her face as she kneels down infront of him.

"Izuku sweety...are you okay?" Questions the woman as her baby boy looks up at her. His tear stained cheeks visible to the mother as she herself tears up from her sons pain.

"Mom...do you think i can be a hero? Even if...even if i don't have a quirk?" Izuku asks as his mothers eyes widen a bit in surprise.

"Izuku sweety... I'm sorry. I'm sorry that my genes were so weak you didn't get a quirk but...No sweety I don't think you can be a hero. Not the kind on TV like All Might." Inko answers honestly hating that she's destroying her son with these words.

Izuku hears this and nods softly to his mother no longer speaking. Feeling arms wrap around him he feels his mothers quivering body as she herself begins to cry with Izuku. Izuku may be young but he was always smart. This crying is not only her upset that he is so sad but also that she just had to destroy his only dream since he could walk. Feeling his mothers wracked sobs and hearing tears plink and plop softly on the floor izuku senses how much this just hurt his mother. Izuku wraps his arms around his mother to assure her it'll be okay.

Shortly after Inko lets Izuku go a man walks into the room. The man is 8 foot tall, built like a brick house with clothes that barely fit his large frame. Black shield like scales cover his body in patches and long lines with taloned nails and large hands. His shoulders upper torso and neck fully covered in the thick black scales and having the head of a rather fearsome dragon complete with hellfire orange eyes and large fanged muzzle and horned skull. The man carefully closes the door and kneels down to his son.

"Hey there champ...i heard the bad news. How are you feeling? Wait stupid question. I'm sorry son." The man says as he nervously pokes his clawed fingertips together.

Izuku smiles at his dad and then frowns slightly before looking down at the floor.

"I'm sorry im a null dad." Izuku says worried for what his father will say.

"WHO CALLED YOU THAT WORD I'LL KILL THEM!" The man in question screams as fire and pyroclast erupts from his mouth in a rage.

"HISASHI MIDORIYA YOU CALM DOWN THIS INSTANT!" Inko yells as the man recoils in fear as his wife screams making the man nod nervously.

"It was that doctor who called him that. Then the nurses and i had to explain to Izuku what it meant. He learned it from them but he learned about it from me. He needed to know when he was being insulted." Inko says.

"Welp, those guys are getting sued to the gates of limbo and I'll ensure they're names are raked over the burning coals. Son i don't care if you don't have a quirk. I only care about you. Listen, i was able to get an old show i loved as a kid re-syndicated for TV broadcast. It's an educational show from the time before quirks. Everyone loves retro stuff especially the good stuff from the pre-quirk era. I'm going to put it on for you. While you watch that me and your mother will discuss what to do from here okay?" Hisashi says with a smile as he walks over to a tv and turns it on to a christian TV broadcast network and leaves the room with Inko. The network soon had thanked viewers like him for the show and transitioned to a black screen which soon started to play a really soothing song. Izuku just sits down infront of the tv watching this as the screen lights up with a colorful animated cartoon of a forest that has a nervous looking badger on screen.

"Angel Gabby, oh Angel Gabby." The badger says as the screen pans upwards to the clouds with a house in it. A pair of white bunny ears pop up behind the clouds. Then two hands grip the clouds and a head pops up showing a female rabbit woth big blue eyes as she giggles softly before flying upwards. The screen pans down to the badger as the angel slowly descends towards it. Her elegant golden wings flapping. The rabbit is wearing a golden robe like dress.

"Hello Francis, I love to hear you call." The angel bunny after landing on the ground looks at the screen for a second.

"Oh, Have you brought a new friend?" The angel asks as francis nods.

"Yes but i'm fearful Angel Gabby. I never know what to say." Francis says as he turns his head in shame.

"Fear should never control you Francis. First introduce yourself. Then ask them to do the same. Hello there, my name is angel Gabriel. what's yours?" The rabbit says looking at the screen and waiting.

"I'm Izuku." Izuku says knowing he wont get a response.

"It's wonderful to meet you Izuku. I hope i can be a good friend to you." Angel Gabriel says shocking izuku as he wasn't expecting an answer back. Soon the screen transitions towards the sky with angel gabby flying and talking while looking at Izuku through the screen.

"Another way to make friends is by sharing things that you like. Can you think of a toy or story that's special to you?" Angel Gabby asks Izuku.

"I like learning about heros and i dream to be one." Izuku says on reflex to the screen.

"That's a great thing to enjoy! Being a hero would be a great thing since you could help so many people. You can do anything you put your mind to Izuku. That's what makes you special." Angel gabby says as she smiles at Izuku.

Izuku is shocked. Angel Gabriel believes he can be a hero? Is she actually talking to him? Could this really be happening? He'll hopefully get answers soon.

A/N

Well heres the end of the concept. I was wondering if people would actually enjoy something like this as it explores Izuku having a guardian Angel watching over him and being all around wholesome while still keeping trauma, depression and other topics in as a story point. Let me know what you think.
