in case you guys already know about the new film alien romulus, although it seems to really upset me a little but still this is an alternate canon fanfic so im not sure if the creators took my idea or not but i'll try to finish this story as soon as possible.
meanwhile after the rest of the crew received the probe's imaging data, they all gathered in the mess hall to eat lunch, both nyn and josh sat at the table eating their food, talking about the events earlier. "So what do you think about that... thing we found?" josh asked, looking at nyn. "quite honestly its kinda creepy... scary looking actually. good thing that you didn't get a good look at it otherwise it would haunt you in your sleep." nyn said , josh chuckled nervously at that statement. "well... i saw it from a distance, so i don't think its a monster." josh said, "Yeah, i suppose you're right." nyn replied, "i mean, it doesn't seem to pose a threat to us." nyn finished, andrea nodded in agreement. "I guess so." andrea agreed.
"everyone?" indra suddenly spoke out "i been looking at more of the footage of the nostromo tapes and found something you might need to take a look at." indra said with fear in her voice. later everyone followed her to the main deck and they watched the security footage of the nostromo's garage, they see two members of its crew being attacked by what appeared to be an alien creature. "That's pretty messed up." andrea remarked, watching the footage. "yeah, that is messed up." james remarked, watching the footage. josh pushed and shoved his way through to see what the group was watching, he was utterly terrified at what he saw.
"what is that thing?!" josh exclaimed, seeing the alien creature on the footage. "josh please go now." andrea said firmly, grabbing hold of josh's shoulder, "i don't want you to see this." andrea insisted. "But andrea, is that a monster." josh protested, "josh, please look at me and don't look away." andrea repeated firmly. as nyn stared at the footage of the nostromo he immediately recognized the appearance of the creature and he realized that it looks like the same creature they found. "wait... that's the same thing we found." nyn exclaimed, "no, it can't be!" nyn insisted, but as he kept watching the footage, he realized that it was indeed the same creature they found earlier.
"andrea what's happening?!" josh asked while looking at his sister in the eyes. "josh, please just look at me and do not look away." andrea repeated firmly, as josh did as he was told while trying to not look away. even after looking at the footage of the alien creature attacking the nostromo crew, he was utterly terrified at what he saw and might not want to look at it again. nyn turned off the nostromo footage and turned to his crew "everyone... we have to head down to the med-lab, now!" nyn commanded as the crew followed him from behind.
upon arriving at the med-lab, they find that the creature inside the cocoon was gone and they even found paul who appeared to be ripped in half as his synthetic fluids leaked from his upper body. "Oh my god." nyn exclaims, shocked at the sight of paul's remains. "What happened?" indra asks, looking around in horror. "that thing is what happened." nyn replies, "the creature we found looks just like the creature that attacked the nostromo crew meaning that we brought onboard a hostel alien creature." nyn explains , "and that thing is now loose somewhere on the ship!" nyn finishes, everyone looks at each other, realizing the danger they were in.
josh felt his heart pounding in his chest he stood close to his older sister as she wrapped her arms around him. "It's okay," andrea reassured him, "we'll be okay. We just need to stay calm and think clearly." andrea explained as josh nodded in agreement, trying to stay calm.
"Okay, everyone." nyn said, "we need a plan to search the ship and find this creature before it tries to kill us." nyn ordered, "yeah but without our android science officer, how will we be able to handle this thing?" bill asked feeling uneasy.
"i think since we have the security footage tapes from the nostromo we can try looking into them and use the nostromo plan to our advantage," indra suggested, "yes, that's a good idea." nyn replied, "we can use their tactics against this creature." nyn finished, everyone nodded in agreement.
"Alright," nyn said, "let's get started." he finished, and they all began searching the ship for the creature.
as the crew resumed looking into the security footage revealing that the crew of the nostromo found that the creature was using the ventilation shafts to move around. "It appears that the creature was using the ventilation shafts to move around," indra said, pointing to the screen. "We should check the ventilation systems on the ship," james suggested.
"Okay, let's split up and search the ship." nyn said, "josh and andrea will get the equipment we need to drive this... thing." nyn ordered. josh and andrea both nodded their heads and went down to the garage-bay so that they can gather some equipment required to track the creature down, but josh couldn't stop worrying about the creature. "What if it comes back?" he asked his sister, looking worried. "Don't worry," andrea reassured him, "we have a plan now, so don't you worry about it and im sure we'll get home soon." andrea said as she comforted her brother. their conversation was interrupted when bill walked in to check up on them. "Hey, what are you kids doing?" bill asked, looking at the siblings curiously.
andrea was feeling annoyed by the idea being called a kid "first of all bill. im not a kid! second, We're getting equipment for tracking the creature." andrea said, "also... josh is helping me. you forget that i'm not just his older sister, i'm also his guardian since he joined this crew." andrea finished, bill nodded in understanding. "Okay, whatever... just to let you know that creature could be anywhere onboard this ship... so there's no telling where it might pop up." bill said, and he walked out of the garage-bay. suddenly both andrea and josh heard bill screamed out loud, "OH MY GOD!" the siblings ran towards the sound of bill's scream, only to find bill who was standing there alive and well while laughing at them . "What the heck was that for?!" josh asked, looking at bill. "Just wanted to play a little prank on you guys a little bit," bill answered, smiling mischievously. "You really shouldn't joke around screaming like that, especially at a time like this, we thought you were being attacked by that... creature." andrea said sternly, "it could kill each and every one of us." andrea finished.
bill sighed, "I'm sorry. I guess I got a bit carried away. just thought that i might lighten the mood." bill apologized, andrea nodded in acceptance. "Alright, well, let's get back to work." andrea said, and just as they were about to return to the garage-bay, bill stepped on something slimey which was very concerning. "What the heck is this?" bill asked, looking down at his shoe. this caught josh and andrea's attention as they went over to see what bill found. "Is that... slime?" josh asked, looking at the substance. "i don't think it's slime." andrea answered, "but what is it?" bill asked, looking at the substance closely, "looks like this stuff could be saliva or something." andrea answered "and if this stuff is saliva, then this creature sure has a nasty habit of drooling." andrea finished.
"ugh, YUCK!" josh exclaimed in disgust, "i bet the creature is nearby." andrea finished, "yeah, but we'll need to take a sample of, wait i forgot...paul is far too damaged by that thing." andrea finished. it was then the trio heard something coming from the vents
suddenly the noise stopped and all was silent and the three cautiously walked into the garage, but before they could take another step, they notice something slimey dripping from above them. suddenly the alien creature falls out from the ceiling air-vents and landed on the ground, it stood back up slowly and made a hissing sound which made the three shudder in utter fear and terror "Holy crap!" bill exclaimed, seeing the creature. "Run!" andrea yelled, grabbing hold of her brother and the three of them ran out of the garage-bay as fast as they could, the creature followed closely behind them.
as the three of them ran bill was already talking during the chase "did you see that thing, that S.O.B. is fricken huge!" bill said, "i didn't even know a creature like that could even exist." bill finished. "shut up!" andrea yelled at her brother, "just focus on running." andrea demanded, bill nodded in agreement. suddenly as the trio was about to reach the corridor, they notice the creature was still following them. "How can it keep up with us?" josh asked, feeling scared. "don't ask me!" andrea yelled, "just keep running!" andrea finished.
As the three were running for their lives, josh and andrea knew that the creature was too fast "i don't think we can outrun this thing" andrea said, it was then bill knew that he had to stayed behind and close the entrance to the corridor in an attempt to stop the creature from chasing them. "you guys keep going im going to try and close the hatch door." bill said as he turned around and attempts to close the door, but before he attempts to press the switch, he was too late. The creature pounced on bill, knocking him to the ground. It pinned him down and began to hiss menacingly. Bill tried to fight back, but the creature was too strong. It lifted its head and opened its mouth, revealing an inner mouth filled with sharp metal teeth. Bill screamed in terror as the creature fired its inner mouth at his face like a bullet shot from a gun. Blood started leaking from the bite on his head. Eventually, the creature released him and moved on, leaving bill dead on the ground.
Andrea and josh managed to reach the second corridor and saw the creature is running towards them "it's still coming" andrea said before closing the hatch door shut, keeping the creature trapped on the other side.
"Did it get him... did it get bill?" josh asked, looking worried. "I don't know," andrea answered, "but we need to get to the cockpit, then tell nyn and the others about bill!" andrea said, looking at her brother. "Yeah, but how?" josh asked, looking at the door. "We'll have to find a way to signal them." andrea said, looking around for something to use. Suddenly, she spotted a radio lying on the ground near the wall. "There's a radio!" andrea exclaimed, grabbing it.
Meanwhile, back on the bridge, nyn and the others were sitting in the cockpit, discussing their plans for finding the creature. Suddenly, they heard a faint radio transmission coming from one of the lower decks. "This is Andrea Zero," a familiar voice said, "we have a problem... bill's dead." the voice finished. Everyone looked at each other, shocked. "What happened?" nyn asked, looking at the radio. "We were in the garage-bay when the creature attacked. We managed to lock it in, but bill is dead." andrea replied. "We're on our way to the garage-bay now," nyn said, looking at the rest of his crew. "We'll need to hurry." nyn commanded as everyone nodded in agreement, and they headed to the entrance that leads to the garage-bay.
As they made their way down the corridors, they heard a commotion coming from ahead. "Josh?!" nyn called out, "Andrea?!" nyn called out again, as he and the others ran towards the sound.
When they reached the entrance, they saw josh and andrea standing there, looking shaken. "Are you alright?" nyn asked, looking at them. "Yeah, we're fine," andrea replied, "but the creature is still inside the garage-bay." andrea finished, nyn nodded in understanding. "We'll need to seal off the area until we can figure out how to deal with this creature." nyn said, looking around.
"What do you mean, 'deal with this creature'?" andrea asked, looking at him. "We can't just sit here and wait for it to come back and kill us." nyn said, looking at the rest of his crew. "We need to take action." nyn finished, everyone nodded in agreement.
"Okay," nyn said, "so our flamethrowers are in the garage bay so we'll have to get inside without disturbing the creature." he but before he could explain futher he was interrupted by andrea "big chap!" andrea uttered. "What?" nyn asked, looking at her. "Big chap!" andrea repeated, "we'll nickname it 'big chap'." andrea finished, nyn nodded in understanding. "Alright, let's just try to come up with a plan to get in there and get the flamethrower, that way we can take care of this thing... i mean big chap." nyn suggested, everyone nodded in agreement.
As they were discussing their plans, they heard a noise coming from the ventilation system. "What was that?" james asked, looking around. "I don't know," nyn answered, "is it that thing... or big chap whatever you want to call it." nyn asked, andrea couldn't help but nod her head to him "yeah, its him alright." andrea said as they all stood together as a group, checking their surroundings "josh stay behind me." andrea asked as josh nodded his head and hid behind her. "We're going to need to get creative if we're going to get rid of this thing." nyn said, looking at the group. "Maybe we can find some way to lure it to air lock or the landing strip." nyn finished.
"Do you have any ideas?" andrea asked, looking at him. "Not yet," nyn answered, "let's just get back to the main deck" nyn said, "and come up with a plan." nyn finished, and they all calmly headed back to the main deck to discuss their plans.
