few minutes later they resumed their discussion "Okay," nyn said, "so we need to deal with this creature." he said, looking at the group. "We can't just sit here and wait for it to come back and kill us." nyn said, looking at the rest of his crew. "We need to take action." nyn finished, everyone nodded in agreement.
"Alright," nyn said, "so our flamethrowers are in the garage bay so we'll have to get inside without disturbing the creature." he but before he could explain futher he was interrupted by indra "What?!" indra exclaimed, looking at him. "How are we supposed to do that?" indra asked, looking around.
"We'll need to use the air-shafts to get into the garage bay that way we might be able to sneak in and get the flamethrowers." nyn said, but andrea seemed to disagree with nyn's plan "there is no way i'm going in those vents so don't ask me." andrea said objectively "We can't just sit here and wait for it to come after us one by one." indra argued, "We need to take action." indra finished, "i don't care if it kills me, i rather die fighting than be killed by that thing." james added firmly, nyn looked at them and sighed in acceptance "fine, we start in 30 minutes regardless, but we have to stick together and i don't want anyone getting hurt or killed." nyn said, and the crew nodded in agreement.
after 30 minutes, the three of them all headed to one of the air-shafts and climbed down into the ventilation system. They made their way through the maze of air ducts, using flashlights to guide them. As they neared one of the exits, the entrance opens up revealing a familiar room. "This must be the garage bay," nyn said softly while taking a quick look to make sure the creature is not around. "Let's take the flamethrowers and get out of here." nyn finished, indra nodded in agreement. as they exited the vent, nyn notices some slimey substance on the floor, he even spotted some unusual structure forming on the walls, it appeared to be some form of dark, strong, resinous substance. "What the heck is this?" nyn asked, looking around. "I don't know," indra answered, "but it looks like some kind of organic material." indra finished, nyn nodded in agreement.
"Look, there's the flamethrowers!" james said, pointing to it. "Let's grab them and get out of here!" james finished. suddenly they head sounds coming from the ceiling, it was the alien creature walking through the air vents above them "Oh my god, it's coming!" james said quietly, both nyn and indra knew they have to hide somewhere and fast before the creature arrives. "Quick, hide!" nyn said, as they nodded and hid in separate hiding places. nyn was hiding under one of the tables in a nearby corner of the garage bay, indra hid in one of the lockers, thankfully it was just the right size for her to fit in. finally james picked a spot behind some boxes just close by to nyn, hoping the creature won't notice him. The alien creature suddenly fell from above and landed on the ground, it stood back up slowly and made a hissing sound which made the three shudder in utter fear and terror "Holy crap!" james whispered, seeing the creature. "don't make a sound!" nyn whispered, the three watched as the creature wanders the garage bay and what james and nyn saw next, left them both in awe and disgust, the creature appears to be spiting some huge webbing on the wall. "what the heck is it doing?" james whispered, watching the creature.
"i don't know." nyn whispered back, "but it looks like its building a nest." nyn finished, james nodded in agreement. "And if that's true, then it means this thing is planning on staying here for a while." nyn finished, james nodded in agreement. it was then nyn noticed that there was something else on the wall, it was the dead corpse of bill, being consumed by a large round structure as if he were being cocooned by the strange webbing "oh my god." nyn whispered in disbelief, "that's bill!" nyn said, but they can barely recignise him as more slimy substance drips on his head and face.
"This is horrible." james whispered, feeling sickened. "Yeah, it is." nyn agreed, "but we have to get out of here before it notices us." nyn finished, as they remained hidden, waiting for the creature to leave. "Alright, once the creature leaves, we'll make our way back to the air vents and head back to the main deck." nyn said, james nodded in agreement. "But we need to be careful, we don't want it to hear us." nyn finished, james nodded in agreement.
Finally, the creature left the garage bay and then jumped right up the vents. "Alright, let's go." nyn said, as he and james made their way back to the air vents, "quickly, we don't have much time." nyn said as he and james both climbed back up the air vents and headed back to the main deck.
Meanwhile, andrea, josh and percy were both sitting next to the entrance to the vents where nyn, james and indra had entered and are currently waiting for them to get the flamethrowers from the garage bay. "What are you thinking about?" andrea asked, looking at her younger brother. "I'm just thinking about how dangerous this mission is." josh replied, looking at her. "I know," andrea said, "but we need to trust that nyn knows what he's doing." andrea finished, josh nodded in agreement.
"Where is he?" josh asked, looking around. "He should have been back by now." josh finished. "I don't know," andrea said, "maybe something happened to him." andrea finished, josh shook his head in disagreement. "No, he's probably just delayed or something." josh insisted, andrea nodded in agreement.
Just then, they heard a noise coming from the vents. "What was that?" percy asked, looking around. "I don't know," andrea answered, "but we need to investigate." andrea finished, percy nodded in agreement. as the three of them walked towards the entrance to the vents, they noticed that the entrance was slowly opening. what came out was non other than nyn, indra and james, all three of them still alive and are now carrying flame throwers. "Thank god you're alright." andrea said, looking relieved. "We managed to get the flamethrowers," nyn said, looking at them. "But we need to take care of this creature. its already started making a nest in the garage bay." nyn finished, everyone nodded in agreement.
"Also, there was something else in the garage bay," james said, looking at them. "Bill's corpse." james finished, josh and andrea both looked at each other in shock "What?!" josh exclaimed, looking horrified. "We saw it." james said, "but it wasn't recognizable anymore." james finished, josh and andrea both nodded in understanding.
"Alright," nyn said, "so our plan is to drive the creature to the air lock with these flamethrowers and trap it there, when the time is right we release it out into outer space." he finished, everyone nodded in agreement.
"Okay," nyn said, "so let's get started." he said, looking at the group.
later nyn was in cousin's mainframe to transfer data logs and recordings that had been taken from the nostromo and into the computer for analysis just to find out more about what went wrong on the nostromo. as nyn starts transferring all the data collected from the nostromo, including the security footage, he began to ponder what really went wrong on the nostromo and how one creature killed the crew. "what really went wrong on the nostromo," nyn wondered to himself. he began to watch the security footage of the nostromo's crew being attacked by the creature, and decided to watch it all in proper order.
after an hour of looking into the security footage he then notices the crew bringing in an unconscious crew-mate,but then he spotted something unusual somewhere on the unconscious crew-mate's helmet and fast forwards the footage changes scenery to the nostromo's med-bay. upon closer inspection he notices that there was something attached to the unconscious man's face, it appeared to be some kind of parasite "wait a minute..." nyn said as he fast forward the footage further and saw the parasite was no longer on the unconscious crew-member's face, but was later found by three of the crew members which are identified as dallas, ash and ripley. the unconscious crew-member was identified as kane and as the footage went on, kane was wide awake and sweating. after fast forwarding the footage one more time, nyn stops and rewinds the footage and stares at the footage of the crew having something to eat, then saw in the footage of kane who appeares to be coughing and struggling.
nyn was confused of what was happening and then saw in the footage was something bursting out from kanes chest, causing the other crew-members to panic. nyn was shocked at the sight of what was happening in the footage and was both curious and confused as to what the thing that bursts out of kane's chest was. but then it hit him, the creature that burst out from kane's chest must have been a baby version of the creature that killed the crew of the nostromo. "but what the hell is it?!" nyn exclaimed, "is it related to that creature we found earlier?" nyn questioned himself.
nyn then decides to rewind the footage and watches the scene where the creature bursts out from kane's chest, and assumed the thing that was on kane's face must have implanted some-kind of embryo inside him. but then he decided to let the computer do the rest of the work in analyzing the data logs, the data and the recordings.
meanwhile the rest of the crew were talking about bill and all the memories they shared with him since they worked together on the ship. "we should say a prayer for him." james suggested, everyone agreed. as they all sat down together and bowed their heads, they prayed for Bill and hoped that he was in a better place. it wasn't long until nyn arrived and spoke to the crew about what he had learned about what happened on the nostromo.
"So what did you find out?" indra asked, looking at him. "according to the footage i seen, the creature that killed the crew of the nostromo was some form of extraterrestrial endoparasitoid, a creature that starts out as a parasite that latches on to the face of its victim, then it later implants some form of embryo inside its host, using the host as an incubator to grow into some kind of larva that bursts through the host's chest. i think that in some hours it grew into an adult" nyn explained. "That sounds terrible." andrea commented, "But what is it called?" josh asked, looking at him. "It's species doesn't have a name, but it seems that big chap is the same species as that creature the nostromo was dealing with." nyn explained, josh and andrea both looked at each other in shock. "So the creature we found was a baby version of that thing that killed the crew of the nostromo?" andrea asked, looking at him. "no, big chap is indeed fully grown." nyn finished, everyone was silent for a while and started staring at each-other.
"So what do we do now? should we just get this plan over with and drive that thing into the airlock?" james asked, looking at him. "yes, but i need your help." nyn said, looking at him. "What do you need me for?" james asked, looking at him. "Well, I need someone to stay behind and keep watch while the others drive the creature into the airlock." nyn explained, james nodded in agreement.
"Alright," nyn said, "so let's get this over with and get back to our mission." he said, looking at the group. later nyn and james are armed with flamethrowers and are ready to confront the creature or "big chap" that is hiding in the garage bay. while the rest of the crew are all, all five of them excluding josh, are armed with flamethrowers and ready to drive the creature to the airlock.
"Okay," nyn said, "so here's the plan. percy will use the niridesis security cams to track big chap's movements, we might not have a motion tracker to help us, but we'll need to do with what we have. andrea and josh will keep guard on vent on the main deck, indra you'll guard the air lock. Be careful, and don't let it get too close." he said, looking at them. Everyone nodded in agreement and then proceeded to split up and start making preparations for the plan to flush the creature out then drive it into the airlock.
about 10 minutes later, everyone was in place as nyn and james were already at the door to the garage bay and were waiting for the others to finish their preparations. "Alright," nyn said, "let's go." he said, looking at james. "Yeah," james said, looking at him. as the two of them entered the garage bay, they noticed how much of the webs covered the walls and were so disgusted by the small puddles of drool on the floor . "I can't believe it!" james said, looking at the mess. "Let's get moving." nyn said, looking at him. as the two of them walked deeper into the garage bay, they heard some rustling coming from one of the corners. "Oh my god!" james said, looking at the corner. "Stay calm," nyn said, looking at him. "Keep your eyes peeled, and don't let it get too close." he added, james nodded in agreement.
As they started looking, they found that more of bill's body had all been consumed by the web leaving only his head, but the cocoon bill was in seems different somehow, "What the hell is this stuff doing to bill?" james asked, looking at the cocoon. "I don't know, but whatever it is, we need to hurry and take care of 'big chap' before we all end up like bill." nyn said, looking at him. "guys," james said, looking at the cocoon. As they continued to search, they notice that one of the entrances to the air shafts is opening, meaning that the creature was probably getting ready to make a move. "Shit," james said, looking at the entrance. "lets just toast this mother!" he yelled, as both he and nyn aimed their flamethrowers at the entrance as the creature was about to emerge from the air shafts. But then the creature suddenly stopped and notices them, "now!," nyn said, looking at him. immediately the both of them fired their flame throwers at the creature as it screams in pain and quickly crawls back into the vents.
"Good," james said, looking at the entance to the vent. "Now let's follow that thing into the vents and drive it to the airlock, then we'll be rid of this thing and we'll back in our cryosleep chambers." he said, looking at him."Yeah," nyn said, looking at him. "But remember, there's still so much more that we don't know about this thing, like how it reproduces. like if it can lay eggs or not." he added, james nodded in agreement. as the two of them made their way into the vents, they notice that the vents had some kind of sticky substance covering most of the area and were surprised by the amount of it. "What the hell did this thing do to the vents?" james asked, looking at it. "I don't know, but we need to be careful." nyn said, looking at it.
"Guys," james said, as he contacted the others with his communication headset, "we've encountered big chap, but we managed to chase it back into the vents." he said, looking at nyn. "Alright," indra replied, looking at her screen, "keep going, we're almost there." she said, looking at her screen. "Okay," james said, looking at nyn.
as they continued to walk through the vents, they could hear the creature slowly crawling towards them, "oh shit!" james said before firing the flamethrower at the creature. "We need to hurry up and get this thing out of here." he said, looking at him. "Yeah," nyn said, looking at him. "But be careful, we don't know how strong this thing is yet." he added, james nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile, percy was working on the security cams, trying to figure out where big chap was heading next. "This thing is really smart," percy said, looking at the screen. "It knows that the vents don't have security cameras, so it's probably heading there to try and evade us. or take james and nyn by surprise." he added, looking at the screen. "Well, we'll just have to see," indra said, looking at her screen. "Keep monitoring those cameras, and let us know if you find anything." she added, percy nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile, james and nyn both climbed down the ladder while searching the vents for big chap, but they have no clue of what level they are in. "Where the hell are we?" james asked, looking around. "I don't know," nyn said, looking around. "But we need to keep going and try to find out where this thing is." he added, james nodded in agreement. As the two of them continue to search through the vents, they notice that there are a lot of noises surrounding them. "What the hell is going on?" james asked, looking around. "I don't know," nyn said, looking around. "But we need to be careful." he added, james nodded in agreement.
"Guys," james said, contacting the others, "we're lost in the vents." he said, looking at nyn. "Alright," percy replied, looking at his screen, "stay put, we're having trouble finding big chap too, it must know a way to evade our security cameras." he said, looking at his screen. "Okay, that's nice of you to tell us." james said. "Can you guys please hurry up?" he added. "Yeah," indra replied, looking at her screen, "we're trying to figure out how to get you guys out of there." she said, looking at her screen. "Great." james said sarcastically, looking at nyn. "Seems like, we're rats in the maze. Am I right, captain?" he asked. "I don't know," nyn said, looking around. "But we need to think this through and be done with that creature." he added.
"guys," percy said, looking at his screen, "try to find the closest exit and leave the vents." he said, looking at his screen. "That might be the best way to deal with this situation." he added, james nodded in agreement.
