31. Chapter 31:Awkwardness

The next day, Jedayi woke up and got out of bed. He changed into his clothes and packed up all of his things to head downstairs. He headed for the front door. Once he had arrived downstairs, he encountered Augustus waiting for him! Jedayi eyes locked eyes with Augustus.

"Hey son.", Augustus greeted his son.

Jedayi was silent. He cleared his throat.

"Hey Dad.",he said to hm.

Silence. Augustus stepped closer to him.

"Uh..have a good day at school today.",he said.

"Thanks Dad.",said Jedayi

He turned to the door and opened the door to step outside. Then, he turned back to close it behind him.
