In Familiar Class with Uncle Robin
Bachiko is tapping her foot impatiently because she is waiting right outside of the demon school gate for someone to come, someone who should've gotten here since the opening ceremony of the new school year and NOT later until now.
"(That idiot better get here soon or else I'm gonna shoot when arrow to drag him here.)" Bachiko thought growled.
Then she spotted someone walking up to the school as she immediately recognized the guy.
"Hello Big Sis, it's really nice of you to see me do my first day of teaching!" The guy said, and instantly got hit in the face by Bachiko with a flying kick, both feet on his face and send him flying about six feet.
"You demonic idiot! What kind of demon waste days AFTER the opening ceremony of the new school year to show up late and suddenly comes in, were you doing something stupid like reading those same teaching books over and over again! You're setting a bad example of the Barbatos clan!" Bachiko scolded the demon.
"I know, I am really sorry about that. I just got really excited to become a teacher that I got into my preparation too much." The demon chuckled cheerfully, not minding the pain on his face.
"Damn it, you always get like this, Robin Balse." Bachiko sighed.
"Hey, no need to worry now. I'm here and I'm ready to help these kids get their demon on!" Robin promised.
Robin Balse is a young-looking demon, and he has bright green hair and yellow eyes, short-statured compared to the standard adult demon. He dresses in clothing that is various shades of green.
"Whatever, just get in already because you're first place is about to start." Bachiko informed as she turns around.
"Wait, Big Sis, there is something I wanna ask you first!" Robin said.
"Make it quick." Bachiko said, feeling a bit annoy at how her cousin can be so positive all the way and be sidetracked a little.
"Well, I got word from the school that you have a son and when I told the Barbatos President about it, he was absolutely shocked to hear that you've become a mom as the other family members are like "What?!" And "Since when did Bachiko hook up with a guy?!" then there was the crazy thing about Sullivan's daughter for a grandson." Robin mentioned.
"(I figured the clan would react about Iruma once words reach them, no doubt the president will want to hear all about this from me in person soon.)" Bachiko thought sighed in annoyance to handle this.
"So, tell me! What's the little guy like, is he a fun guy and does he like to have fun? I bet he's a skilled archery just like you!" Robin asked excitedly, wanting to know about his nephew.
"I haven't taught him archery yet until he passed his first ranking exam, which he did on his first try." Bachiko bragged about that a little.
"Wow, that's so cool!" Robin complimented.
"Iruma has been doing well in school so far, though things tend to happen accidentally making himself the center of attention when he ends up doing unexpected things." Bachiko explained a little.
"Oh, so he must be popular." Robin guessed.
"Not willingly, but he is someone very special once you get use to the guy and definitely shows promising skills that would make the Barbatos clan proud." Bachiko smirked.
"Oh devil, I'm already getting super excited to meet him!" Robin smiled.
"Well, there was that one thing he did to a teacher and let me tell you. It was really hilarious that I thought I wasn't gonna die of laughter!" Bachiko started laughing at the memory of Iruma accidentally turning Kalego into his own Familiar.
"Huh, what? What was the funny thing he did on a teacher, and who was this teacher?" Robin asked curiously, but Bachiko didn't answer as she kept laughing a little more and figured Robin should figure this out on his own.
"(I hope you're ready, Iruma, because Robin is gonna be onto you like glue.)" Bachiko thought chuckled.
(With Iruma and Ameri)
Iruma and Ameri are having their usual private reading time with the former doing the reading on another chapter of First Love Memories.
"Today is… Today is the day I finally tell him how I really, truly feel." Iruma said, doing his female voice of Rin.
The scene shows of the manga panel of Rin hiding behind a corner while seeing Kakeru coming closer with each step.
Rin: Kakeru.
Kakeru is hanging out with another male student, most likely a friend in the same class.
Rin: Oh my gosh, I'm so scared. What should I do? But no matter how scared I am, I can't go back now. "Clench. Shake, shake." I have to go for it.
Iruma stop reading for a bit to think about the moment he went through the same kind of nervous feeling within himself back at this ranking exam.
"(Facing your fears. That was the first time I've done something like that.)" Iruma thought remembered the exam, how he was able to beat Azz and got his rank to go up by one.
"(Everyone else was happy too. So, of course, that made me really happy.)" Iruma thought smiled, glad that he was able to do something for himself and not for being told what to do.
"And then what happened?" Ameri asked, snapping Iruma out from his thoughts.
"Well, what happened after that?" Ameri asked, stating that she really wants to know.
"After that? Oh well, I…" Iruma paused on the question. "(That's a good question. What does happen next?)" He thought asked himself.
"Rin decided to tell Kakeru how she felt, and she was waiting for him in the hallway. What happens next? I need to know." Ameri begged to continue with the story.
"Oh yeah, right!" Iruma realized that's what she meant and look at the manga.
"What in the world should I do? Kakeru is getting closer and looks like he's with a whole bunch of his friends. My heart's pounding. Oh, what should I do? Please, someone tell. I have no idea what to do." Iruma read on until the school demon bell rang loudly as always.
"I'm bursting with curiosity, but classes are about to begin. I shall be in touch soon." Ameri said before walking out of the room.
"S-Sure, see you later." Iruma nodded, watching Ameri leave now being alone in his thoughts.
"(What has my dream become? What are my ambitions? Should I just try to raise my rank again?)" Iruma thought wondered what his next goal should be.
Iruma isn't really sure what to do at this point though maybe something could help give him an idea, maybe like learning all the archery skills from his mom when her lesson starts.
(Misfit Classroom)
Robin walks into the Misfit Class with a cheerful and confident smile on his face as he faces the students.
"Nice to meet you, everyone. I will be your familiars class teacher. And my name is Balse. Thrilled to meet ya!" Robin introduced himself.
"(This new teacher seems really motivated and excited to be here.)" Iruma thought surprised to meet a cheerful demon teacher.
"Yes, I got so lost in my preparations that I missed the entrance ceremony." Robin remembered how shock he was when he finally noticed that day had already passed and he's super late.
"My first day teaching here ended up being so delayed. My attention span can be fairly scattered at times, but I'll make sure classes are spot on." Robin explained, hoping to do his best as a teacher.
"On that note, let's all do our best together. Hip hip hooray!" Robin cheered.
"Oh yeah, you're the" Clara was gonna cheer him on, but Robin cuts in for a bit.
"Now, now, listen carefully. If you want to say that line properly, what you'd say is sharp. Focus Teacher." Robin lectured her in a friendly way.
"I see. Sharp, sharp. Got it." Clara nodded.
"(Looks like he's already getting along with Clara.)" Iruma thought amazed that there would be someone cheerful for Clara too.
"Now let's get started. Okay, today's lesson is interacting with your familiars." Robin revealed what the lesson is going to be.
"(Uh oh, this could be a bit tricky.)" Iruma thought worried that it's going to involve summoning Kalego again.
(Outside)
Robin's Familiar Class is going to be held outside for the demons and their familiars to do the interacting with each other and for Robin to see how well they are with each other too.
"Pay attention. You're familiar will be your partner. You'll be bonded forever." Robin stated on the basis of having a familiar.
"Today, I've made arrangements for you all to get some special bonding time with them." Robin explained why they're outside.
"Let's start with Asmodeus Alice. Is that right?" Robin hoped he got that name right.
"Yes, sir." Alice said before stepping forward.
"Gorgon Snake. Show yourself!" Alice summoned his Familiar as the snake monster with wings comes forth and around its master.
"A real Gorgon Snake. Remarkable!" Robin was amazed to see a Gorgon Snake this close, but then Sabro comes in with a grin.
"You'd best brace yourself for mine is more amazing." Sabro bragged, ready to show this fire bastard what a truly amazing Familiar looks like.
"Come forth, Kelbie!" Sabro summoned his Familiar showing off its mighty presence.
"Whoa, a Kelbie!" Robin was shocked to see another student having such a great creature by his side.
"Both these creatures are excellent Familiars. We're off to an astounding start!" Robin felt like this class could give him full of surprises.
"(I wonder if I'll be able to find this Iruma boy big sis told me about?)" Robin thought asked himself.
Both Alice and Sabro are staring intensely at each other and so are their Familiars, feeling the sense of rivalry about to spark between them again.
"Unlike your pathetic, slithering Familiar, Kelbie actually has legs to walk on and behold its massive name." Sabro stated that his Familiar is better while petting his Kelbie's mane.
"And you behold my regal Gorgon Snake. Look at how it gazes at me with pure admiration." Alice believed his Familiar is the best without a doubt.
The other students of the Misfit Class are seeing that Alice and Sabro are having their own contest of the Familiars.
"Here they go again like clockwork." Lied chuckled.
"Let's just relax and take it in until it's our turn." Gaap suggested.
"(I really hope those two don't do anything that could get us all in trouble.)" Iruma thought felt a bit worry.
"Next up we have… Where's Clara Valac?" Robin asked.
"Here!" Clara showed herself feeling excited.
"Summoning! Falfal!" Clara summoned her Familiar which is a green creature thing.
"Falfal! Wonderful. What a rare find! One whose words and actions are a complete mystery. I wonder how she managed to tame it?" Robin was shocked as he was not expecting to see that.
Clara petted her Falfal's head and handed it the ball, then Falfal throws the ball for Clara to go fetch it herself.
"What?! It tamed her!" Robin was shocked even more, and then he laughs on seeing how fond they are of each other.
"There are so many fascinating students here!" Robin laughed happily.
Falfal stop ticking Clara's belly because its mind just thought of something which Clara notice this.
"What's the matter, Falfal?" Clara asked.
Clara stares into Falfal's face for a few seconds and then spoke loudly.
"Roger that. Let's go!" Clara smiled and ran off toward the school for some reason.
"Hey, wait up! Oh, what was your name again?" Robin looked over at the list.
(With Bachiko)
Bachiko is on her patrol as always and was about to go meet up with one of the Student Council members in another area, but suddenly she spins fast when Clara ran past her very close.
"What in literal Hell was that all about?" Bachiko asked while getting herself straight from the dizzy.
"This must be from Robin; he better not screw on his first day of teaching." Bachiko huffed.
(Cafeteria)
Camu Camu is looking over his little shop as he gets ready for when lunchtime starts, but then he heard something and look over to see Clara literally coming at him on all four like a demon dog.
"Hey there, Camu Camu!" Clara greeted.
"Stop!" Camu Camu got his bamboo spear and thrust that Clara latches onto he lifts it up that she slides down.
"One red bean bun, and would you make it snappy, please? Thanks!" Clara requested a food item from him.
"Which do you want? Chunky or smooth? Choose one, quickly." Camu Camu asked knowing that she has to be in the middle of class right now.
"Let me see now." Clara said.
(With Falfal)
Falfal is sitting on the grass and looking up at the sky to enjoy the peaceful moment.
"Heya!" Clara called out, getting Falfal's attention.
"I brought a red bean bun for ya! The chunky kind, just like you wanted." Clara showed the chunky red bean bun, and out of the wrapper for Falfal to take a big bite out of it.
"How is it? Do you like it?" Clara asked.
"Oh, and they can even communicate without words. I certainly didn't expect this!" Robin was even more surprised to see how deep their bond is now.
Falfal then offers some of his red bean bun to Clara seeing if she wants any.
"Huh? Well, if you're sure. I humbly accept." Clara bowed and bite on the bean bun.
"Right. Next up, we have Iruma Barbatos. Iruma—Wait, you're Iruma!" Robin gasped upon finally realizing that this Iruma kid is the same Iruma who is the son of his cousin Bachiko.
"Huh, yes, I'm Iruma." Iruma said, feeling a little weird that the new teacher is suddenly being close to him.
"No way, I can't believe I didn't see it sooner that you would be Big Sis Bachiko's son and now I'm finally meeting him for the first time in person!" Robin smiled with stars in his eyes.
"Hold on, big sister Bachiko. You're my mom's brother?" Iruma gasped in realization.
"No, not a brother, we're actually cousins though I do look up to her as a big sister that it was Bachiko who taught me to sharpen my archery skills." Robin mentioned.
"Wow, I never met a relative of my mom before. It's weird though because you two don't seem to resemble each other." Iruma pointed out, seeing that Bachiko and Robin look completely different from each other.
"Maybe not, but we are family as your mom is from the main branch of the Barbatos family while I'm from the other branch of the family." Robin explained.
"Wow, I have so many fun things I wanna do with you now that I'm meeting my nephew the minute I heard about." Robin lifted Iruma in the air and spins around.
"Okay, now this is getting embarrassing! Please put me down!" Iruma begged with his face turning a little red.
"Oh yes, we still have class and as such, I will not be playing favorites for you just because we're family." Robin said as he put Iruma down.
"Now Iruma, would you please bring out your Familiar?" Robin asked.
"Oh, so my mom hasn't told you what happened at the Familiar Summoning Ritual?" Iruma asked, seeing that Robin doesn't know about that incident.
"Oh, did something happen at the Familiar Summoning Ritual?" Robin asked curiously.
"So, you haven't heard yet." Jazz said, leaning a little close to the new teacher.
"You see, well, how do I put this…?" Lied tried to think of a way to tell Robin about Kalego becoming Iruma's Familiar.
"Wait a minute, I think Bachiko mentioned something about you doing something to a teacher? Does that have anything to do with the Familiar Summoning Ritual? Please tell me I'm right!" Robin asked, saying one of the three taboo words.
"Uh… Yes, it is. I ended up someone a teacher to be my Familiar." Iruma revealed exclaiming.
"No way! You actually did something so crazy that you summoned another demon to be your Familiar! That's the craziest and coolest thing I ever heard! Now I must see this Familiar of yours, go on, bring it forth!" Robin requested excitedly.
"I, uh… okay." Iruma groaned in worry that he has to Familiar Kalego now.
If you recall, Iruma is a total pushover.
