Lisa's Fears Realized Part 2
"Unfortunately," Lisa answered Liam. "my family and Elle's family are having dinner at the DiAngelo mansion, my mom thinks it'll do me some 'good' to hang out with Veronica."
"Raw deal, Lisa." Phil said.
"Yeah, I would rather have dinner with the well off Lake family," Liam commented. "than to have dinner with Veronica the Wicked Witch of the West!"
Lisa had to laugh at Liam's comment.
"I didn't know Stevie's family was wealthy!" Lisa exclaimed.
"Oh, yes," Liam said to Lisa. "Mister and Missis Lake might be attourneys, but they really are quite well off, you just wouldn't think they were from looking at Stevie."
A little while later after returning home from Pine Hollow and doing her homework, Lisa was in her bedroom looking for a fancy dress to wear to dinner at the DiAngelo family's mansion.
"Oh! I can't believe this! I don't have anything fancy to wear!" Lisa exclaimed.
Eleanor Atwood and Melanie appeared in Lisa's bedroom doorway.
"Are you ready yet, Lisa?" Melanie asked.
"Do I look like I'm ready? Melanie," Lisa exclaimed. "I don't have a fancy dress to wear to dinner!"
Eleanor pulled something out of a shopping bsg and handed it off to Lisa.
"Now you do, Honey." Eleanor said to Lisa.
Lisa looked at the dress in her hands, it was made from red velvet and had red ruffled cap sleeves, and a boat neckline collar.
"Thanks, Mom." Lisa sighed.
Lisa then closed her bedroom door so she could change her clothes in peace.
After changing her clothes, Lisa went downstairs to meet up with the rest of her family.
"Oh! Lisa! You look so beautiful in that dress!" a man exclaimed, standing up from the sofa.
