Skyrim - Scunda
It was late into the night when he eventually fell asleep on the bed, his body finally releasing all that tension she hadn't detected previously. It had taken much cohesion on her part to get him to sleep, much to her chagrin.
For some reason he felt as if he needed to stay awake, as if danger could pose itself at any moment, anywhere. "Don't worry, you sleep, I'll keep watch." He'd said, using it as his point to defend his position on staying awake.
"Please let me keep watch over you. You need rest more than me, Master." She muttered, deep golden red gaze boring deep into his eyes.
Sleep didn't bring her pleasure anymore, and if anything…
Closing her eyes only brought her suffering, reminding her of what her entire life had been merely hours ago.
Every time she closed her eyes she saw darkness, darkness that reminded her of that coffin, of that tomb, that prison.
She couldn't go back to sleep, she didn't want to. She'd slept for nearly a thousand years, she didn't want to ever sleep again.
After explaining that to him in a moment of weakness, he caved.
"Okay… Then I'll sleep. You keep watch." He murmured, voice tired.
She'd lost the battle of convincing him to sleep with her naked, so she settled for him laying in her lap with his armor on. With her back against the headrest of the bed, legs crossed, he came to lay his helmet covered head down in between her plump thighs.
He was out in minutes, his deep red orbs closed behind the slits of his steel visor. The moment he was asleep, his body went slack in her lap, as if this was the first nights rest he'd gained in a very, very long time.
She didn't sleep that night, much like she'd promised him. Instead she stayed perfectly awake, golden red eyes staring longingly down at the man in her lap, her Hero.
She didn't know him, anything about him, not even his name.
He called himself Goblin Slayer, a title more than anything else. And yet, she wanted to know what his real name was, and if he didn't have one, then why.
She wanted to see his face, the face of the man she was now forever loyal to, the man that had rescued her. But he didn't seem too fond of the idea of removing his helmet, much less his armor.
He was asleep now, but she wouldn't dare go ahead and take his helmet off of him while he slept. He must've had his privacy for a reason, and if he didn't wish to share it with her, then it wasn't her place to know.
So, despite her blistering curiosity about the mysterious man in her lap, she didn't do anything.
Instead she sat there, all night, eyes not even blinking once as she stared down at him. She wouldn't even think of moving, doing as he asked of her loyally and keeping a watch over him and his belongings during the night.
Hours passed in blissful silence, and all she had to occupy herself was the soft sounds of his breathing through his helmet.
The storm from the night prior raged outside, the freezing wind's whipping at the wooden walls of the inn. She was a vampire, so she wasn't fond of the sun on her young supple looking flesh, yet she wasn't a fan of the winter storms either.
Skyrim, if she was still there, was not a land she was fond of, especially during the coldest time of the year.
Wherever Goblin Slayer was headed after he awoke, she was going with him. She just hoped that it wasn't going to be freezing cold.
As the sun began to rise on a new day outside the inn, she wondered, not for the first time, why he decided to wear his armor at all times.
Was he a wanted man, someone with a bounty on his head?
No, that couldn't be true. She didn't care whether he was or not, it wouldn't change her view of him, nor shake her loyalty. But she couldn't see him being a stone cold bandit either. That and he'd said earlier that he had gone to pay the innkeeper for their room, so that meant that he hadn't forced his way into the building.
Perhaps he had assassins out after his life, and he was fearful of being attacked in his sleep? Although that could be true, she did not see the man as the type to fear anything.
At the end of the day, it mattered not. In the end he had his reasons, and she would not question him on them.
In the meantime, however, she would keep herself entertained by looking him over. She gazed down at him unblinkingly, running her delicate thumbs over the edges of his helmet in his sleep. She oh so desperately wished to remove his armor, to touch him with her fingers.
She licked her lips, sucking in a short breath through her nose as she leaned in closer to him. She'd been sitting in an enclosed space with him for the entire night, and his scent…
His scent was starting to overwhelm her.
Strong and musky, it clang to his armor like it was his second skin. She couldn't get enough of it, thick and manly, flooding her nostrils.
She wanted more, more than to just smell it.
She wanted him, she-
She needed him.
She needed him inside of her, right-
Right now.
She couldn't withstand it anymore, her urges too powerful, too strong to handle.
Suddenly she moved, straddling him in his sleep now. She leaned down atop him, lips splitting into a mad grin as her control slipped away entirely. She bent down, large bosom mashed against his armored chest as she breathed in his scent, nose pressed against his neckline.
"More…" She murmured lowly, puffy black lips parting to bite into his neck. "I-I… I want more…" She cooed, eyes rolling up into the back of her head as she bit him against, his vibrant blood pouring into her mouth.
She purred lowly, the taste of her master in her mouth divine. She couldn't get enough of it…
She…
No…
Wait…
She wasn't, wasn't supposed to do that without asking first…
And she was supposed to be keeping watch while he slept, not…
Not feeding off of him.
She sat up, shaking her head as she tried to get her mind on straight. She'd so easily given in to her urges, not even asking him if she could.
What if someone had come in while they she was feeding on him? She wouldn't even notice-
"Hey, what's going on in here? I heard some strange-" The door to their room opened, the innkeeper walking in.
Her head snapped around in surprise, mouth open, blood leaking from her lips. She swallowed thickly, wiping her mouth clean slowly.
"V-Vampire!! Someone call the guards!" The old Nord shouted, rushing out of the room.
Goblin Slayer sat up, the combination of the screaming and said Vampire having been feeding off of him having woken him up. From what he gathered, it was time to find somewhere else to be.
"Time to leave." The man murmured lowly, spooking the woman in his lap.
"G-Goblin Slayer?! I-I didn't mean to-" She tried, realizing that this was entirely her fault.
"I should have not let you stay awake on your own, it is my fault." He stated flatly, leaving no room for argument. Before saying anything else, he slid off of the bed, strapping his sword and shield on before moving to flee. He stopped by the door, looking back to her as she sat on the bed.
He reached out to her. "Come on, we are leaving." He said, offering her his hand.
She stared at the opposing limb for a moment, before quickly moving to take hold of it.
She shook her head as they fled the inn, leaving an angry mob of men behind shouting at them as they fled into the outside world. She couldn't believe she thought he was going to go back on his word and leave her there, even if for but a moment.
That said, now they were on the run from a group of fearful Nords and armed guards.
"W-Where are we going?!" She asked as she ran alongside him. Instead of immediately answering, he scooped her up, putting her on his back as he continued running. His gloved fingers came to rest under her posterior, holding her tightly as he ran.
"Somewhere safe." He muttered lowly, running as fast as his legs could carry him.
They disappeared into the forest lining the road, eventually losing the angry mob that chased them…
"Time for some ground rules." He stated blankly, sitting on a rock underneath the entrance to a cave system. He crossed his arms over his chest, staring disapprovingly down at the vampires sitting before him on her knees.
The sun was still early in the day, casting a bright warm light over the both of them. The storm from the night prior was nowhere to be seen, having dispersed early that morning.
She blushed in shame, unable to meet his gaze. The source of their troubles was still all over her lips, dripping down her chin like some cat with spilled milk.
She licked her lips nervously, getting a taste of his blood again. It wasn't the same now, being that it brought with it the guilt of getting her master into trouble.
It hadn't even been a day yet, and she'd already caused serious trouble for the man.
"Rule number one." He said firmly, holding up one gloved finger. "No biting without asking first." He stated, holding her with a level stare.
"Yes, Master." She hummed, sitting just a little straighter for him. She thrust her chest out slightly, although she didn't seem aware of the action.
He didn't even blink, instead holding up a second finger to join the first. "Rule number two, no biting in public."
"I-Isn't that still part of rule-?" She went to ask, but clicked her mouth closed at the dry look he gave her.
"Rule number three. When in public, stay by my side. I cannot protect you if you aren't with me." He said, a third finger joining the other two.
She nodded firmly, hands resting in her lap. She was sweating underneath his gaze, but she wasn't sure if it was due to the shame, or the sun…
In fact…
It may have most certainly been because of the sun beating down over her backside.
She swallowed thickly, reaching up to grasp at the front of her straining cleavage, flapping her dress against her large heavenly breasts to try and cool herself off.
He stared blankly at her, red eyes twitching behind his visor as he tried to mentally decipher what in the name of the gods she was doing. His eyes glanced down to the large valley of her pale sweaty cleavage, sweat pouring down the dip between her chest.
"What are you doing?" He murmured lowly.
"I-I'm sorry! It's just so hot…" She apologized, blowing out a breath, cheeks flushed. "By the eight, h-how can you handle… a-all this sunlight?" She huffed, fanning her face.
He stared at her for a long moment, before he reached a conclusion. "You can't handle the sunlight, can you?" He asked, moving to stand up.
She looked back up to him, cheeks flushed, sweating. She nodded.
He didn't say anything for a moment, but she could tell that he was contemplating the issues this brought forth.
Then he sighed, before walking over to her. He took a knee before her, her face flushing at his close contact. "Looks like I'll need to take care of you then." He said, reaching up to his neck as he undid his long tattered red cape.
Her eyes widened when he instead wrapped it around her, tying it around her neck, bringing the old worn hood up to cover her head.
Almost immediately she felt the effects of the sunlight on her body diminishing, and the harsh sunlight became far more bearable. It wasn't perfect, but it was certainly magical.
"An old friend of mine made that for me. It protects from the elements, including sunlight." He explained lightly, patting her on the head before he stood up. "Come now, it's time to leave." He said, already moving to leave.
He took her by the hand, moving deeper into the wilderness of Skyrim. Where he was going, where he was dragging her she didn't know. But, she found that she didn't seem to care.
If she was with him, she'd go anywhere.
"You know, you're really nice…" She muttered as she walked alongside him.
He glanced at her from the corner of his eye, silent for a long moment, before turning to face forward again.
"I see…" He murmured.
After fleeing from the inn and resting at that cave entrance, they traveled south through the cold mountains until they eventually reached an opening. Departing from the freezing northern mountains, they found themselves in the decidedly warmer open plains of the center of the land.
They found a well travelled road to follow, one that would hopefully keep them safe from the more than hostile wildlife of the land, and lead them to civilization.
Speaking of which, in the distance Serena could make out what appeared to be a massive human settlement, complete with massive stone walls, a castle standing at the peak of a mountain, and a plentitude of plantations and farms all around the outside.
It was certainly the largest human settlement she'd ever seen, but she wasn't too fond of going in there.
However, it seemed that it was exactly where her master was taking her.
"Are we going there?" She had to ask, pointing towards the city in the distance.
"Yeah." He said simply.
"Are there other humans there?" She asked.
"Yeah." He said again.
"But…?" She muttered nervously.
If her previous interactions with humanity was anything to go off of, this wasn't going to go well.
Sensing her worries, he turned back to her along the road. "Do you remember rule number three?" He asked cryptically.
Her eyes widened. "Stay by your side so that you can protect me?" She repeated loyally.
He nodded, turning back to the city. "Good." He said, before resuming his trek. "We are in need of supplies. I used the last of them in that cave where I found you." He explained simply.
"And they have them there?" She asked curiously.
She didn't know much about human civilization at all.
She'd been trapped in that coffin on her seventeenth birthday, locked away for a thousand years. As a vampire of her Royal blood, she would never age beyond her eighteens, and was to forever look like she'd merely just turned eighteen.
With her life beforehand being that of a girl locked away in a castle, she'd been sheltered for the most of her life.
All she really knew was that humanity hated vampires, and had male cults around killing them. At least, that's what she remembered her mother telling her a thousand years ago…
Otherwise, her memories were foggy at best, and blank at worst.
She was relying on him to teach her about how everything worked around here, and she hoped that he knew more than she did.
"Every settlement I have encountered has an alchemist before, I see no reason this one will not." He said lightly, boots treading the stone path that lead up towards the city gates.
On all sides were guards, men with thick burly arms, swords and shields strapped to their backs. They watched them both like hawks as they made their ways up to the entrance of the city.
Just before the city gates, however, she spotted what appeared to be travelers of some sort. They were camped outside the first gate, tents set up with a cooking spit and a campfire already going to keep them warm.
What really gained her attention, however, was the fact that they weren't humans, but instead some sort of cat people. They stood like humans, wore clothes like them too, but were completely covered with fur from head to toe with large cat ears atop their cat-like heads.
Truly, she'd never seen anything like them before.
She waved excitedly as she passed, seeing as they had noticed her approaching. They blinked in surprise, but offered her a polite bow of greeting in response.
They already were leaps above any humans in her book.
Except her master, of course! He was the best of them all, so she couldn't look down on all the humans.
It wasn't her fault that every interaction she'd had with men before were violent and aggressive…
But she'd keep her opinions to herself for now, she didn't want to upset Goblin Slayer again. So, as they approached the city gate, she moved to hide behind the man as two armed guards approached them.
"Halt! City's closed with the dragons about! What business do you have in Whiterun?"
Goblin Slayer sighed, leveling a tired gaze at the man before him.
Why did everything have to be so complicated?
