The ticking clock sounds so, so, soooo unusually loud and irritating this time.
Komaru groans as she slumps back in her seat. If she knew that she'd be stuck inside doing work that nobody else in Future Foundation wants to do, then she would've never accepted this in the first place. She thought that she'd be able to go out and help people, do some real helpful changes for everyone and all that.
But noooooo.
Instead, here she is, sitting down while having to go through so much paperwork. It's unbelievable that they let all of these stack up, and now they're expecting for her to cover it all for them today?
Komaru groans and lets her face fall onto the desk. She can hear some of the papers are starting to fly off the table now, but she pretends not to hear them. She'll deal with them later. Right now, her mood is way more important.
She hears the door opening.
"Woah, you look really washed up there, Omaru!"
That sounds like Jill.
Komaru tilts her head around, but otherwise, she still keeps it there on the table. "This job sucks so much, Jill. Why did I say yes to it?" She mumbles that as she puts her face back on the table.
She then hears Jill pull a chair up, and it sounds like she's taken a seat next to her now.
"Because Big Mac asked you nicely and you couldn't say no to him?" Jill answers with a cackle.
Komaru groans more at that. "Please don't remind me…" She loves her big brother and she'll do anything for him, but this is one of those cases where she wants to curse him out so much.
Jill then lifts one of the papers up. She makes some humming noises, like what she's inspecting the contents of it, and then just like that, she tosses it aside. "You know what? Who says you've got to be stuck doing all these boring AF papers for Mr. Compensating for Something?"
As soon as she hears that, Komaru suddenly gets up from her seat. "Jill, you know you can't say that about Mr. Munakata!" While she doesn't disagree with that, and she'll admit that it is a bit weird seeing him constantly walk around with a big katana in hand, it's still another thing to hear that said out loud!
Oh no, there's a really mischievous glint in Jill's eyes now.
"And why not?" Jill cackles even more. "You know, I'd say he's got a huge stick up his ass, but everyone knows that one's being filled by his wife's strap instead!"
Komaru's face goes red at that mental image, and she starts making all sorts of mortified noises at it.
And Jill, the utterly cruel person she is, just keeps going on with that. "And you just know that for all he acts like he's in charge around here, swinging his limp-shrimp-dick at everyone who passes by, everyone knows it's his wife who's got him by the balls!"
Now upon hearing that, Komaru couldn't take it any longer. She bursts out laughing at that absurd image, and Jill's delivery of it has only further enhanced it. So now Komaru couldn't help but laugh along with Jill, especially as Jill keeps delivering on more elaborate and increasingly dirty but hilarious jabs against Mr. Munakata.
It might've taken a few minutes, but eventually, all of that laughter finally quiets down.
"Thanks, I really needed that." Komaru says with some giggles.
"You don't need to thank me for just telling you the truth! Hahaha!"
These papers are still a huge mess to deal with, but having Jill around should help make it a lot more bearable for sure.
