Author's note:
Alright guys, I really did my best to make sure everything would go well on this chapter, however there is one main issue that people has been asking me to correct about, but I'm going to explain and I want you guys to understand my point of view.
You don't need to worry about Synchro Monsters or XYZ... because there is a very reasonable reason of why I'm not place them on this fanfic, but it will be explained in the future chapters... HOWEVER, tuners cars will appear, but they aren't tuners on this fanfic. Meaning... they have their effects, but they will also being only effect monsters like any others.
Tuners Monsters like The white stone of the ancients from Blue eyes archetype will still have it's effect, but it will not be used as synchro since tuners doesn't exist yet. So please relax because let's be fair... there is cards on this day that it would be so good to make more balanced decks on the past, which I would like to bring them to make them useful on that generation.
So if I see the actual cards which would be interesting into reading in the fanfic, I will use it. But don't need to worry about ZYX, Synchros, Link summons or etc... because there is a reason of why I'm not going to place them. So I hope with this in mind, have more fun into reading this chapter.

Nevourness, that was the feeling Chumley had at the moment he stepped his foot on the practical exam, since most of the time... Since the first year, the results have always been the same.
Defeat and failure every single time he tried.
At the time the big-boned Slifer got in the middle of the arena, he was found staring at the purple uniform teachers, who possibly were responsible for giving the exam.
"Student Chumley, I'm surprised that you came to give another attempt towards the exam this year." The professor who has been around the Academy for years, looked at the chubby student who seemed nervous but still had a serious look on his face.
"I had a lot of help," Chumley said as he chuckled nervously... "And also I promised to them that I would be Ra sooner, so I'm here to give it another try."
"A commendable attitude." The purple uniformed teacher nodded his head, as he looked at the other student who was walking in the corridor. "It seems your opponent is here."
At the time the student appeared, Chumely already could see it was bad news... The girl in front of him was from the Obelisk Girl's dorm, showing her violet duo ponytails, eyes red, and a confident smirk.
"Student Wisteria, I hope you are prepared for the practical exam today." The professor commented as the Obelisk student looked at the Slifer, while she had her eyebrow raised.
"That's it? I thought I would have at least a challenge when it comes to these tests." Wisteria looked at Chumley as she scoffed at seeing a Slifer Red student.
From the tone of her voice, Chumley flinched... since she told the teacher like she had been wasting her time against him... and yet, Chumley decided to be polite and remain quiet.
"What's the matter? Cat got your tongue? At least be courteous to let me know who am I wasting my time with?" Wisteria commented as she could see the slacker in front of her seemed to be a bit too shy for her tastes. And that annoys her. "Name's Wisteria, and let's end this quick because I have better things to do..."
And with that Wisteria took her duel disk and lighted up, showing how serious she was.
Chumley remained quiet, as he remembered the times he was with Jaden and Syrus, and how each duel he had with them both... telling how to think, how to act, and how confident he must be as a duelist... to go after his dreams... and for the best grilled cheese that he ever would taste in his whole life.
Chumley's body language changed, which made Wisteria raise her eyebrow, and from seeing Chumley showing his shy nature, to went erect and showed a sharp eye.
"My name is Chumley Huffington. And for the sake of becoming a future Obelisk in the future. I'm not going to waste your time." And from shuffling his deck, and placing on his dueling disk... It showed how serious he was to start the duel at that moment.
Wisteria raised her eyebrows but then smirked.
"That's what all they say," Wisteria commented as both stared at the professor wearing the uniform of the academy... And with his nod, it was the time for the duel.
"Alright, the practical exam starts NOW." The teacher gave a step away, as both Chumley and Wisteria were ready for the duel.
"DUEL." The students said in unison and for the first time, Chumley was going to give his all on the practical exam.
Chumley: 4000LP / Wisteria: 4000LP
"Let's see how great you are Huffington, you start the first turn," Wisteria commented, as she glanced at her whole set of cards in her hand, and being satisfied with how the duel would end quickly with all the pieces on his own hand.
Chumley nodded as he found his hands, he couldn't be in an even better position... Every single card was from the moment he was in the card store in the morning... The Comporta, A.K.A Floodgate was a card Syrus kept repeating and repeating every single time. Also Fiendish Chain, a card given by the blue-haired boy himself, and telling both him and Jaden how to use it properly... Des Kangaroo, a card that he smiled from receiving from his best friend, he wishes he giant Koala and a Polymerization would also be in his hands. Since that would be a great way to use Jaden's card... But from the booster he got from Dorothy... he never thought he would start using that card... but one of his new aces is on his hand... Behemoth King of all animals.
"Alright, I'm going to set a monster face down... and then set 3 cards on my magic-trap zone cards and end my turn." Chumley started solid. He wanted to make sure to create a bit of intimidation towards the violet Obelisk Girl, but from seeing her yawning from his tactic... it seemed it didn't surprise her much.
"That's it? Ohh, big deal... a lot of cards on the field. Well, my turn... Draw." Wisteria rolled her eyes as she mocked a bit of the plan Chumley prepared on the field. And with the cards she has in her hand. She already has a very good plan. "Alright, let's see if you walk the walk. I start by summoning Senju of the Thousand Hands. And I activate his effect. Which allows me to bring a ritual monster from my deck to my hand.

Chumley looked at the monster who sembled like a horrifying man who had thousands of hands, like a statue of a god who was using his mouth to create flames and from that flames. A card appeared in front of the female student, who gave a good search and used it to bring a monster directly to her hand... it was a card of Demise, King of Armageddon.
"Now that I have the ritual monster I want. I can use this spell card, End of the World." Wisteria smiled as she activated the spell card, and at the moment she did that, it created from the floor a mini city, but the next moment... there was a waterfall, and a tsunami appearing to destroy once and for all. "At the time I do my special conditions, I can summon a ritual monster from my hand..."

And from the smile on her face, Chumley glanced at his three face-down cards... and his instincts were telling that he would need to use them sooner than he thought.
"I use my Ruin, Queen of Oblivion as a tribute... To summon from my hand... DEMISE, KING OF ARMAGEDDON in attack position." Wisteria shouted as she made the holograms of a beautiful and yet mysterious woman, to suddenly being engulfed by the waters over the little city, and as the water flowed around the arena. From there the water developed into a powerful man with dark armor in it.

Chumley felt a shrive into his spine... as the same time he had when he knew Syrus placed Desperado Barrel Dragon on the field... so he discovered that it was one of her ace cards, and from the attack points... He needed to stop that card.
"Did you like him?"Wisteria asked as she smiled evilly from the serious and yet terrified face of the chubby student.
"He looks strong," Chumley replied since he never was good at trash-talking. It was more like Jaden's fort, and Syrus's way of dealing with everything seemed to fit more of him. Be polite and serious when it comes to the duel.
"Oh, if you think so. Waits for you to hear his ability. I activate Demise, King of Armageddon effect. Which by paying 2000Life Points I can destroy all the cards around the field except him." Wisteria smiled victorious as she could see that the duel was going to end quickly.

Chumley paused... as he could see the glowing monster was about to destroy all the set cards he placed on the field... and while it sounded terrifying... He never thought he would have such luck because...
"I ACTIVATE MY TRAP CARD... FIENDISH CHAIN." Chumley pressed the button on his dueling disk and commanded to a card which immediately showed dozens of green lime chains covering the whole monster who got tied by every angle of his body... He was chained and suddenly blueish flames appeared around the chains, which made the Demise completely unable to do anything.
"WHAT?" Wisteria shouted in disbelief, as Chumley used the right timing and sighed in relief.
"Phew." Chumley used his left hand to clean up the cold sweat on his face... and for the first time, he never thought that he actually could have such a great card as his staple... "Staple... wow, that's indeed a good way to describe cards like this."
"What did you do? What card is that?" Wisteria shouted in outrage as she saw that her monster hadn't destroyed anything, and now he looked useless in front of her.
Chumley then remembered that he was in a duel with someone of the Obelisk Blue, but regained his posture, and talked like he usually he does with his friends.
"Fiendish Chain is the name of this trap card, I can choose 1 Effect Monster on the field and it will negate the effects of that face-up monster while it is on the field, also that face-up monster cannot attack," Chumley explained as he could see the eyes of disbelief from the arrogant girl, and the inability of her monster doing anything on the field.

"How did you get a card like that?" Wisteria commented while sounding both annoyed and impertinent but also impressed. "Never heard a card like that before. It's like a rare card?"
"More like Ultra Rare, my friend gave to me. Do you still want to continue the turn?" Chumely commented as he looked proud of the cards he had in both his hands and on the field... and yet he was polite to ask the opponent who suddenly stomps her foot.
"Damn right, I will. Since I cannot use my Demise, the King of Armageddon and I still lost 2000LP from the conditions of activating his effect, I'm already half of life points... So I'm going to end this duel faster. Battle, Senju attacks his set monster on the field." Wisteria commanded as she narrowed her eyes, waiting for what other types of cards the chubby student had on his sleeves...
Chumley remained quiet until the monster who was set finally appeared, with an uppercut in the face of the man who couldn't defend it with the thousands of hands around his body.

Chumley explained as he could see the confusion on the face of the Obelisk girl who seemed to be shocked to see her monster still flying in the air like a slow motion. "But I'm not done. I activate my trap card. Cross Counter, which makes the difference of damage double in your life points."

Wisteria stared in shock, at the Kangaroo who was shadow boxing and and preparing to do a direct at the same time Senju who was falling in slow motion, at the right timing. Des Kangaroo gave a powerful punch which made Senju go directly at the violet-haired girl who flinched at the monster exploding in her face.
Wisteria: 2000 - 1400LP
"What the hell? Why was he destroyed?" Wisteria commented as she was confused and annoyed to not be able to do anything against the Slifer student who seemed to have prepared so well for the duel.
"That's because of either effect of Des Kangaroo, or Cross Counter trap, in any case, if my monster has more defense than your monster's attack it means that your monster would be destroyed in the battle exchange," Chumley explained as he could see that the girl in front of him was now...pouting?
"OH DAMMIT, Okay, that's fine, I will set a card and end my turn," Wisteria said as she placed a card on her spell and trap zone, while Chumley gulped from seeing her reaction be like that... "HURRY, IS IT YOUR TURN OR WHAT?"
"Okay, okay. I'm doing it. My turn, draw." Chumely used the time to take another card from his deck, and his eyes sparkled when he drew a card from his booster... to be none other than... "I summon on the field Tree Otter in attack position."

Wisteria watched what would be a mixture of beaver with a koala, which made her look not impressed with it.
"Okay, so now you have a beaver thing... so what now?" Wisteria said as she raised her eyebrow, not knowing what Chumley was about to do.
"Now, I activate his ability which allows me to target 1 face-up monster I control, and the monster I control gains an extra 1000 attack points until the end of this turn. Which I choose my Des Kangaroo."Chumley pointed as the Otter Tree's eyes sparkled and launched his woodchuck at the Kangaroo his biceps became double the size, turning Des Kangaroo into a Heavy Weight Champion.
1500 - 2500Atk
Wisteria who was watching unamused suddenly realized the difference of attack... 100 points stronger than her Demise.
"Oh no," Wisteria said as she realized that she was exposed.
"DES KANGAROO, ATTACK HER DEMISE KING OF ARMAGEDDON, WITH THE SERIOUS PUNCH," Chumley shouted, as the green Kangaroo Heavy Weight Boxer was shadow boxing until he quickly jumped directly at the chained monster, and with one swing, Demise, King of Armageddon was smashed to particles, while the air of punch and the loud punch, made Wisteria flinches.
"Ahhhh." Wisteria recoiled from such a loud punch, as she could see her life points diminishing.
Wisteria 1400 - 1300LP.
"Why youuuuu." Wisteria was losing her cool, as she could see that now she was without something to protect her life points.
"Now, Tree Otter, attack her directly." Chumley raised his arm, which made the monster who resembles a beaver glare at the girl who insulted it. And with its woodchucks, they launched many woods at her which made her even angrier.
"HEY, KNOCK IT OFF." Wisteria was getting mad as she could see that her chances of winning now were almost zero. And that bugged her, a lot.
Wisteria: 1300 - 100LP.
The professor who was watching from the beginning was with a very amused and impressed expression on his face. Seeing a student who had failed the practical exams so many times and even giving up on trying, now was doing something that most students of the Red Slfier wouldn't think was possible... He was dominating the duel with his life points intact.
"And with that, I end my turn." Chumley remained resolute and finished his turn, however deep inside of him, the anxiety, the nervousness of he getting so long so far... it was a very uncomfortable feeling for him.
Wisteria gritted her teeth.
"Is that so? Well, I have to say, Chumley Huffington, you managed to get this long so far. But let's see if you can keep it up. Draw" Wisteria's face showed nothing more than a mixture of anger and... respect? That was the resolute serious face of a girl who was angry and even pouting at losing to a student like him. And with her angry face, showed nothing more than amusement.
"That girl is Bipolar," Chumley mumbled as he saw the many expressions of the violet-haired girl from the Obelisk Dorm.
"Well, it seems you are a very good duelist, I applaud you for that, but now it's the time I'm going to crush you down. I activate Reasoning." Wisteria said as suddenly a man with a turban appeared on her side and pointed at her deck. "Choose a number from 1 to 12, and I will excavate from my deck until I get a monster that I can summon, and if that monster's level is the same number you declared. I will send all my cards I excavated, including it to my graveyard."

Chumley looked at the perspective of the battle, and while it may sound a bit too good to be true, he tried to remain calm.
"Okay, I choose 8," Chumley said as he looked at the man in a turban suddenly showing the number 8 with his magic. Wisteria smiled at that, and she then started to excavate cards from her deck.
"Monster Reborn, Dusty Tornado, Scape Goat, Giant Trunade... Ah, what do we have here?" Wisteria said as she looked interested. "Ohhhh, so close Chumley, but this monster is level 7... Say hello to CYBER DINOSAUR."
At the moment she said that Chumley's heart started to beat like a drum until he saw what would be a mechanical dinosaur with sharp teeth.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Wisteria said with her arrogant face, while Chumley looked at the monster and the attack points. "Let's see if you are courageous to go against it."
Chumley stared at the giant creature, and for being able to see that set card... the one who his friend even hurt him to tell that it was an essential card... one that he must learn how to use properly... he could see it, why Floodgate was that important... And he then remembered the words of his uncle. The one who always was different than his father...The cheerful and free spirit man who wears a robe and drinks Whiskey while eating bacon once per week...
"In the words of my uncle. I'm courageous, but I also have good sense. I activate my trap card. FLOODGATE TRAP HOLE." And at that moment the set card revealed itself... Wisteria who was smiling like a cat who ate a bird, suddenly she palled and looked in panic.

"you WHAT?" She shouted until she saw a hole inside of the floor which literally her gigantic dinosaur to fall down and what remained was a mark of yellow circle when it came to a set of monsters on the field. "No, no, no. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?"
Chumley sighed in relief, feeling a good part of his soul coming back to his body. A dangerous monster of 2500 was too much for him, he needed to take it down quickly.
"DAMMIT," Wisteria shouted as she looked angrily at him, but then noticing that she couldn't do anything more... she sighed annoyed. "It seems you won. Just finish this duel quickly. I end my turn."
Chumley noticed that Wisteria was raising her white flag, it meant so much to him, so he decided to use everything he could.
"Alright, it's my turn. Draw," Chumley took a look on his card, and decided to end the duel quickly. "I activate the ability of my Behemoth the King of All Animals. By sacrificing one monster I can summon him in exchange for him having 2000atk points, so I tribute my Tree Otter, to summon my Behemoth the King of All Animals."

This card can be Normal Summoned or Set with 1 Tribute. In that case, the original ATK of this card becomes 2000. When this card is Tribute Summoned, you can return from your Graveyard to the owner's hand a number of Beast-Type monsters equal to the number of Tributed monsters.
At the time Chumley said that he didn't want to risk it, so he tributted his weakest monster, so on that next moment, a giant pink beast appeared on the field, which made Wisteria stare at the chubby duelist in anger.
"SERIOUSLY? I'M IN A HURRY HERE, CAN'T WE END THIS DUEL?" The obelisk girl shouted angrily which made Chumley flinch.
"Sorry, but I want a guaranteed victory, so if that gives you any consolation, I'm not going to activate his ability to take a beast monster from the graveyard. So I start the battle phase." Chumley said as he quickly tried to speed up, and from the annoyed look of his opponent, it seemed that he was going directly to that made her ease a little. "Behemoth, attack the set Cyber Dinosaur."
At that moment, the big pink beast roared and jumped toward the circle, it was like a whole that was going to be buried by the rocks from such an attack. And the roar of a pained dinosaur could be heard, which made sure that the field was exposed after the yellow circle exploded in particles.
"Now, Des Kangaroo, attack her directly and finish this game." Chumley pointed in the direction of the girl who was tapping her foot impatiently, and at that moment she was surprised by the sudden jump of the Kangaroo, and with a good direct, she used both her arms to protect her face. And the vibrations of her Dueling Disk finally come to a close.
Wisteria lost her duel...
Chumley, remained quiet, as he suddenly realized one simple fact... he just won a duel. It made his mind freeze, and then glanced at the Obelisk Girl who just cleaned the dust around her clothing.
"The practical exam is over, you both will receive the punctuation in accordance with the decisions you planned around this duel. Await for a few days for we show on your PDA the results of your percentage... I wish you both a good afternoon and have a good rest." The professor commented, as he clapped his hands, and turned his back to leave...
Wisteria gave a glance at Chumley who seemed to be incapable of moving, she then walked towards his direction.
"You dueled well," Wisteria commented as she could see he remained quiet. "Now that the duel is over, and you got what you want. Get out of my way, I don't have time for this."
Chumley immediately gave room for the violet hair that walked past him, and without looking behind, her eyes became sharper...
"Chumley Huffington... I will remember you." Wisteria mumbled as she left the corridors, leaving the chubby Slifer still trying to process what happened...
His body moved to his own... until he found a good corner for him, and the entire process of his entire day happened over and over again... from the written exam until this duel... which made him look at himself and pinch himself...
"It's not a dream..." Chumley said as his entire body went shut down his legs crumbled and he sat on the floor... He just won the first duel in 3 years... "I won..."
And with that, that's how Chumley concluded his story... Which made his friend Syrus smile widely, as a good sign of how proud he was... And from seeing the other girls who seemed happy, and even Hiro nodded to know the details of the duel. It showed how much they cared for him.
"DAMN, you managed to win against Wisteria?" Jasmine commented loudly, as she gave a nod in satisfaction to the chubby duelist. "I heard that her ritual summons was really annoying, and from her Brat Ignorant Technical Centered Human was something that most of us wouldn't be fine to deal with..."
Everyone looked at her in confusion, until Syrus realized what she meant... And he tried to hold his laugh.
"Wow, was she that bad?" Syrus commented as he asked Alexis who just shrugged.
"Well, depends on which days we are... she is that bad usually from Monday to Friday..." Alexis explained as Syrus couldn't help but know that name rang some sort of bell inside of his mind.
"Well, at least you managed to have a GG Chumley, I'm proud of you. You used every single card correctly, and you deserved this victory." Syrus said with honesty, that he saw how great a friend Chumley is, and how he deserved so much to work for the Illusions company. And seeing that he was being so great everyone was having a good time, it was only a matter of time to...
"HEY, GET AWAY, GET AWAY." Suddenly a group of boys and girls were running in the direction towards an area. Shouting and calling for all the students around them. "A SLIFER ROOKIE HAS AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE PROMOTED ON THE FIRST EXAM."
The blue-haired boy who was smiling at Chumley, suddenly blinked, as he looked into the faces of all his friends, Alexis and Chumley also blinked... until the Obelisk girl couldn't help but ask...
"Do you th..." Alexis didn't even have time to ask.
"It's probably..." Chumley nodded his head as he could see that it was indeed true.
"Yep... It has Jaden's name on it." Syrus concluded as he could see that finally, everything was happening like the show... And he couldn't help but smirk. "Let's go. Let's see how is it about?"
And with that, the group walked around until they found an arena, where to the surprise of nobody in the group... looked and found that Jaden Yuki was in front of Chazz Princeton and Professor Crowler.
The group walked until Syrus saw Bastion in the middle of the group, which was a good spot to go.
"What's going on?" Syrus came near the Ra duelist, who looked at the little blue-haired duelist.
"Oh, I was looking for you Syrus, it seems Jaden decided to get inside a trap... since Professor Crowler seemed too happy to tell that Jaden has a good opportunity to duel with the best duelist of the academy..." Bastion gave a summary of what was about to happen until Syrus blinked in his direction. Alexis also blinked until she looked at the blue-haired boy.
"Oh, I didn't know you were going to duel Jaden, Syrus... Maybe you should go easy on him?" Alexis said as she smirked, while Syrus rolled his eyes.
"It wasn't me...Oh... maybe Professor Crowler convinced Zane to duel against Jaden," Syrus commented to Alexis who just shrugged.
"Yeah, I mean it would be obvious... But I think Zane would refuse to do something like that." Alexis commented, and Syrus nodded his head to her.
"I was talking about Chazz Princeton," Bastion said loudly which made Syrus...then Alexis... and also Chumley who was nearby... blink... suddenly.
"HAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA." The trio laughed as if it was the best joke in the world. Until Syrus stopped laughing and noticed Bastion was telling the truth... "Wait, you are serious... Let me laugh even harder. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA."
And with that, even Jasmine, and Mindy started giggling, and Hiro who had no idea about what was about to happen, started to laugh because Syrus laughed even harder.
Bastion's face became red like a tomato and then started to do his outburst.
"WHY ARE YOU ALL LAUGHING?" Bastion said as the students around and even gathered a little group of Obelisks, Ras, and Slifers students... And with that Syrus stopped laughing, and with all the seriousness of his own being. He smirked at the smartest student.
"Because... Jaden is ready." Syrus' tone showed he wasn't kidding, and that time, the group watched Jaden, who was above the arena, and they got terrified as Jaden indeed showed determination.
"I ACCEPT," Jaden said excitedly, shocking everyone around the school, but Syrus stared at his friend knowing that his friend was far better than he already was before. "Alright Chazz, let's get started. Let's finish what we have started on the Obelisk's Arena."
"That's right, in front of the whole Academy, where everyone can watch." Crowler smiled happily at how well his plan had been going, and he could not wait on how the Slifer student needed a reality check, knowing that Obelisk would always be superior to Slifer students.
"Yeah, watching you getting crushed by me." Chazz smiled arrogantly as he could see that even with all that pressure, the slacker seemed to be even wanting to challenge him.
And both Chazz and Jaden decided to take off their decks, just to place them inside of their dueling disks. Crowler took the opportunity to pathetically run away from the duo of duelists who were going to have a showdown at that moment.
"DUEL." Both Jaden and Chazz said at the same time.
"NO EXCUSES THIS TIME CHAZZ," Jaden shouted as his own determination proved that he was ready to attack.
"THEN GO YOU SLIFER SLACKER," Chazz replied as both their dueling points gave a counting which sembled of their life Points on the field.
CHAZZ: 4000LP / JADEN: 4000LP.
Jaden looked at the hand he had on the moment, and his eyes went sharp at the moment he looked at the quick spell Transcendent Wings which was the first one... now for a final resort, he would only need to have his little winged Kuriboh to make such duel memorable... Next to the quick spell, there was Elemental Hero Bubbleman, Elemental Hero Lady Heat, Elemental Hero Blazeman, and finally another good card Pot of Greed.
"Alright Chazz, I will start with Summoning Elemental Hero Bubbleman in defense position." Jaden smiled as he started with a monster which made most of the students see a hero dressed in blue and a watergun in a defensive position.

"Yes..." Syrus clenched his fist as Jaden showed a great start in the duel.
"Interesting, starting with more cards on the hand has more chances of him drawing more resources in the duel." Bastion noticed Jaden starting the duel with a very well solid strategy. And the group nearby him nodded their heads to him.
"More cards on the hand, better control on the field," Syrus said as he could see from Jaden's smile, that he already had something interesting in his hands.
Jaden looked at his cards until he found it... the first Kuriboh without wings. And the creature on the card just blinked at Jaden and its spirit appeared away from the card. He was surprised to not be his winged Kuriboh, but that doesn't mean that his help wouldn't be welcomed.
"Hey, little buddy." Jaden smiled as he could see the new friend he had dancing around... as he felt the same emotions as the first time he had met the person who he bumped into trying to reach the admission exam... "Welcome to your first duel. Can I count on you?"
"Wrbriiiiii." The Kuriboh nodded its head as it showed with its stuffed chest its pride in being helpful to whoever needed it. But then he noticed there was also another good card that he always should use.
"Awesome... Now I also activate Pot of Greed! Allowing me to draw two new cards." Jaden used the card which made a big green pot appear, allowing Jaden to take more cards from his deck.

Jaden at the time took 2 more cards... Which was very interesting for him to use... he had a full combo on his hands... but he needed to test the waters first.
"I will set two cards on the field and I will end my turn." Jaden smiled with the plan on his head, he couldn't wait to see Chazz's reaction when he found out what Jaden had planned for him. And yet he could see Chazz still smirking at him.
"If you think this weak piece of soapbubble would scare me, then let me show you what true skill is. Draw." Chaz shouted as he smiled wide at his opponent. He started a card. "I appreciate the rare card Professor Crowler. Alright, let me give you some news for you. I activate Magical Mallet."

"What is that?" Jaden asked as he looked surprised to see a card like that for the first time.

Jaden looked surprised at the moment Chazz showed the Magical Mallet card once again in his hand.
"You know Jaden? I also had to shuffle Magical Mallet to my deck too, and if I was able to take it from my deck, I can also use it again." Chazz placed the spell card itself on the deck while Jaden remained in silence, not knowing what the obelisk student was doing.
Syrus raised his eyebrow and looked like he was going to have an aneurysm.
"Did he just use Magical Mallet again just to send itself on the deck without any other card?" Syrus asked his friends which Alexis hummed as she could see the point of the Slifer student.
But Bastion decided to explain.
"Yeah, but that card is very dangerous, he can place the cards to his deck that he doesn't want and bring the cards he wants." Bastion tried to summarize a good effect of the card, but his eyes twitched when Syrus didn't see the same thing.
"Yeaaahhh nooooo." Syrus said, as he could see something that the Ra duelist was not aware of. "Chazz should have waited to use this card when he had more cards that it wouldn't be useful for him... redoing just one card is a waste and the game of chances would be from 1to34..."
"Oh? Probability and statistics?" Bastion now could see the point of Syrus, since knowing that the probability of Chazz having a card in a duel would be also a chance... and using it with more cards would give better chances. "That's a reasonable point."
"Guys, I think Chazz is going to do something big." Hiro decided to interrupt the conversation of the duo, and Chumley could see his stomach grumbling and seeing Jaden was almost ready to take the pressure.
"Come on Jaden, you can do it," Chumley commented, as he could see the smirking face of Chazz Princeton ready to make his move.
"And look what came to my hand. V-Tiger Jet, come to sharpen your claws in attack position." At the time Chazz summoned his monster, a mechanical green tiger jet appeared on the field, which showed its claws toward Jaden.

The public was cheering to see a great card appearing on the field, but a minor public stared at the monster with a bit of disappointment.
*Yawn.* Mindy yawned as she even scratched her eye with her fist. "2000 atk? For a fusion? Hmm..."
"Yeah, I can see it," Jasmine commented. Noticing Jaden doesn't seem that afraid either. "I dueled the hero boy a few times, and I can imagine what he was thinking at that moment. I mean, hell, I would be thinking about the same thing..."
"Girls," Alexis commanded as her duo of friends stared at their best friend and leader. "I think this study group really spoiled you both. Because from what I remember these cards were rare types for a reason."
"Yeah, they are... but, looking at who is dueling with them... Chazz committed terrible mistakes by using all the cards in his hand." Hiro also felt that he got too spoiled... since he didn't think that card in front of the arena was even a big deal.
Bastion was listening to the whole group talking among themselves, and started to sweat... since he believed that a good combination like that would be fatal to go against most of the duelists... and yet the whole group... Even Chumley seemed to be so peaceful about it.
"Yeah, I can't believe it. Jaden is going to Ra." Chumley said as he started to get emotional... and Syrus couldn't help but nod his head.
"Someone must be ahead of us, and take space for the room for us to be there. I think Jaden being the first would fit well." Syrus commented as he clearly could see Jaden wasn't what the others thought about it... "We studied all we could... And Jaden learned in his way... Dueling without a stop, that's his style."
Bastion remained quiet but then glanced at the field.
"Did you like this card? Because I didn't finish yet. Because he still has his special ability." Chazz wanted to see Jaden tremble on his base, but suddenly he stopped when Jaden raised his eyebrow...
"Which is..." Jaden asked as he tilted his head, showing that he wasn't even worried about what was about to happen.
"What...Okay by discarding a card to the graveyard I can change the position of one of your monsters, which I will use the bubbleboy." Chazz smiled arrogantly as the Elemental Hero Bubbleman went from a defensive position to an actual attack position. "So here, have a demonstration of the attack of my Tiger Catapult."
The whole arena watched the mechanical tiger shout many missiles in the direction of the blue hero, and even Crowler was having good satisfaction on how the first turn of his elite Obeliks Blue was going to give to the Slifer Sla...
"I activate the effect of Kuriboh, by discarding him from my hand, I take no damage from this battle," Jaden said loudly suddenly the whole students, even Chazz and Professor Crowler went in shock as suddenly a little furball appeared in the front of himself, and at the moment Elemental Hero Bubbleman exploded, Kuriboh raised its arm, and used it's own body to protect Jaden from receiving any damage.

"WHAT? SINCE WHEN YOU GOT A FURBALL LIKE THAT?" Chazz snarled as Jaden gave a grin of a lazy boy.
"Oh, a friend of mine gave me as a gift." Jaden scratched the top of his nose. And smiled that he seemed to have something didn't realize his mistake.
"Respect the father of all Kuriboh, Princeton," Syrus commented as he smiled proud of Jaden, something Syrus didn't teach Jaden when it was the time to use it... But from all the time he saw how Kyteroid operates... Jaden realized the right timing by instinct. "You have 2 cards now, And Jaden will have 4 on the next turn. You are going to be in big trouble."
Bastion listened to Syrus commenting to himself, and Chumley who seemed to be so used on a time like that... He couldn't help but also add.
"Do you think Jaden is going to use that combo?" Chumley could see it, Jaden was smiling from the first time both dueled and Jaden found a way to use an impressive combo...
"He might... and it would place so much salt on Chazz's wound, that I would almost feel pity on him," Syrus commented as he could see Jaden's deck had far more resources and could give a lot of headache to Chazz...
"I wouldn't." Chumley joked which the duo started to chuckle...
"What?" Bastion stared at the group of circles on his side... And it seems the trio of Slifer, and even the group of girls were even talking about the same thing... On how Jaden would end the duel.
Chazz gritted his teeth and decided to remain cool.
"I'm going to end up with a set a card face-down and end my turn." Chazz placed his card which Jaden finally can have his turn.
"Yes, end your turn, because I was just warming up... And looking at your hand, you just have 1 card. While I still have 4. Draw. And now 5." Jaden said confident with what he has in his hands. It was the time. "Alright, I summon my Elemental Hero Blazeman. In attack position. Show them what you are capable of."
"What?" Chazz asked as he raised his eyebrows.
"What?" Bastion asked as he could see what was about to happen.
"WHAT?" Crowler raised his voice as he never saw Jaden using a card like that when it was dueling against Alexis or even with himself.
"Welp, Chazz is screwed," Hiro commented as he somehow found popcorn as a good way to enjoy someone already having a great time by watching a Slifer defeating an Obelisk student. He never thought he would be enjoying such a thing.
"Where did you get popcorn?" Jasmine asked as she already placed her hand to get some for herself.
"Around, I have no idea... they were just giving around." Hiro shrugged as he could see what Jaden planned to do.
And on the field, a hero made by fire, with long fire hair and even orange armor and metal around its body. It showed nothing more than a stylish and yet awesome way to appear over the arena for the first time.

"That's not possible." Professor Crolwer said as he was pulling his hair off, as Principal Sheppard was watching in amusement everything happening in the arena.
"Ha, it's still weak in comparison to my VW-Tiger Catapult, how do you think is going to find a way to defeat it?"Chazz mocked Jaden as he could see that Jaden wasn't even phased until he took his deck out.
"With his ability that I'm activating right now. If I Normal or Special Summon my Blazeman, I can add 1 Polymerization card from my deck to my hand." Jaden then had the final piece of his combo in his hands... And it was the time to make his combination. "And now I activate it from my hand."
"Oh boy, if is Lady Heat and Heat, then Chazz is screwed," Chumley commented as Syrus nodded his head. Jaden was ready to make a good move in front of the whole school.
"And now I will use my polymerization to fuse both from my hand... Elemental Hero HEAT with the heroine Elemental Hero Lady Heat. To show you this HERO YOU NEVER SAW BEFORE, ELEMENTAL HERO INFERNO IN ATTACK MODE!" Jaden used both of his cards from his hand and placed in the graveyard.
The whole fusion of both hero and heroine holding their hands and fusing into what would be a giant Hero made by fire, and with an armor of pure orange, white and dark orange.
Chazz then watched the whole scene as he couldn't believe his eyes...
"That's impossible." Chazz noticed that something was wrong at the time Jaden didn't seem worried about all his movements that he had done before. Everything was done so perfectly, and yet Jaden seemed to have shown how lucky he was.

"Oh, I just got them a few days after from our duel. Structural decks rocks." Jaden smiled wide, as he then went back to his duelist self. " But not it comes the neat part. I ACTIVATE MY TRAP CARD. ELEMENTAL RECHARGE. Which allows me to gain 1000 Life Points for each Elemental Hero I control on the field. And I have 2, which means I can have more 2000 Life points."
Chazz looked at Jaden with all the hatred in his heart.

Jaden blinked... and then shrugged.
"Sorry, but I got a friend who would crush me if I didn't do a combo like that, I need to have all the life points I can gain," Jadne explained as he could see his dueling disk going blue.

"Yep, Jaden did the combo." Chumley nodded his head, and Alexis agreed with him, Mindy and Jasmine and even Hiro acknowledged what Jaden had done.
"Yeah, you never know how much you would need to duel with someone using Limiter Removal... I mean, that card is busted, why didn't have a banlist yet?" Hiro complained as he glanced at Syrus who ignored the banter, and acted like he didn't listen at all.
Bastion sweat even more as he could see the group around him, was acting like a bunch of monsters who would see something so amazing like an ordinary thing... Jaden was giving a show in front of the whole school.
"WOAHHHHHHH." All the Ra, Slifers, and even some of the Obelisk Blues were awestruck to see a Slifer like Jaden pulling something far beyond their comprehension.
"Battle." Jaden smiled as he raised his hand which pointed in the direction of the Tiger Catapult. "Elemental Hero Inferno, attack VW - Tiger Catapult with your power INFERNO DESTROYER."
The hero made by flames raised his own hands and like a powerful wave, a powerful fireblast was enough to make the animal machine start to melt and immediately explode in particles, making the Obelisk blue student flinch.
"Ughh, you are going to pay for that," Chazz swore but then realized that it wasn't over yet.
Chazz 4000LP - 3700LP
"Now, Elemental Hero Blazeman, attack Chazz directly." Jaden then gave another signal for his Hero to attack Chazz which he immediately reacted.
"If you think I'm going get hit, you are out of your mind. I activate my continuous trap card. Call of the Haunted." Chazz raised his hand which immediately brought a card directly from his graveyard. "I can choose 1 monster in my graveyard, And Special Summon that monster in Attack Position. And I chose my WV-Tiger Catapult."

Chazz acted at the right time which made Jaden immediately raise his hand.
"Blazeman, stop the attack," Jaden commanded as the hero was about to make the mistake of hitting the monster in front of him... "Wow, that was a quick-thinking Chazz, and since my strongest monster already attacked once..."
The whole group has to give that to Chazz... Using the trap card to save his life points from the direct attack...
Chazz 3700
"Whatever, at least now it's my turn. Draw." Chazz said as he needed to rid of the strongest monster Jaden had. "I will activate my WV-Tiger Catapult ability, and I will discard one monster from my hand to make it change its position, and I choose the elemental Hero Inferno to defense position."
Jaden looked surprised, as Chazz discarded one of his two cards which made his strongest monster to crouch himself in defense.
"And now I will summon. X-Head Cannon in attack position." Chazz summoned one of the only options he had, and now he struggled since he couldn't have any more cards on his hand... it was now or never.

The students could see Chazz was doing a good combination to bring the maximum potential of his deck, and that way he could defeat Jaden once and for all.
"Alright Slaker, let's see if you can take it. X- Head Cannon attack Elemental Hero Inferno." Chazz instructed the monster he had used a powerful laser beam to destroy the heroic monster who was defending his master.
The loud explosion made Jaden see the smoke around the air, but it wasn't done yet.
"Alright, you just destroyed my Elemental Hero Inferno, which means I can activate his ability in case he is destroyed. I can choose one Spell card from my Graveyard and bring it back to my hand... And the card I choose is my Pot of Greed." Jaden said as he took a card that would allow him to have more cards in his hand.
Chazz noticed that he could not do anything else... since now, his hands were empty and all the cards he could play were already on the field...
"VW - Tiger Catapult attack that stupid Elemental Hero Blazeman, and make damage on this stupid duelist," Chazz shouted as his other monster launched missiles in the direction of the Blazeman, the hero tried to use both his arms to protect himself but the power of the explosion made him explode, and Jaden recoil a bit with the difference of the attacks.
Jaden 6000- 5200LP
"Well, it was too much for him," Jaden confessed as he could see Chazz now used all the attacks and didn't have anything else to do on the turn. So which means.
"And with that, I will end my turn," Chazz commented, as he noticed that while he had the strongest monsters in the field, there wasn't anything he could do much. But at least he could give a breath of relief...
But not for long.
"Alright Chazz, I'm going with everything I have. My turn. DRAW." Jaden used the shout to take the card off the top of his deck. Until suddenly he heard a noise from the deck.
"Prfrwyyyy." It was the same familiar friend who had been with him since the beginning of the Academy... On his own hands, Winged Kuriboh appeared at the right time... he glanced at both the cards in his hand and saw the Transcendent Wings which had been since the beginning of the duel... now he just needed to meet up the conditions.
"Chazz, prepare yourself because this time I'm going to make something big. I activate Pot of Greed which allows me to draw 2 more cards." Jaden placed the spell card which once again made him able to have now two extra cards for him doing what it needed. A trap card that it wouldn't need to be used and then his little friend Winged Kuriboh which now they finally got on his hand. The spirit of the said monster finally got out of the card to greet his friend."There you are... you have been missing a lot of the action..."
"Prfwyyyyyy." Winged made happy noises as he could glance that his duelist and partner, finally met the conditions to do something people would never believe.
Jaden glanced at Chazz and the cards from his hand... And like that, he remembered exactly the words Dorothy must have told him and his friends.
"Hehehehe, we always say we are out of cards, but I always can hide some boosters to help some good and educated young boys like you three, maybe you can make great use of them when you are not pushing old vans." Dorothy's kind words were heard in his mind, as he saw the sparkle in the eyes of himself and his best friends.
"Alright, let's start with this. WINGED KURIBOH IN ATTACK POSITION." Jaden finally understood that it was now time for the climax... So he did what he could do best. To duel with all his heart, and from his trustful card, he remembered what Syrus had told him when he dueled against him.
"Your Winged Kuriboh is your ace monster." Syrus's words echoed as he could see the reason why his friend said those words. "Kuriboh were known to be best defensive monsters depending on the effects on the hand or the field... Yours is the only one that can transform into something offensive that could end the duel quickly. You just would need to use Transcendent Wings, and even I wouldn't have the courage to attack you in any turn."

At the time Jaden summoned his ace monster on the field. Confusion, shock, and disbelief appeared on the faces of everyone over the arena. But to Syrus and Chumley... It came to a simple conclusion.
"I'm going to miss him," Chumley commented as he tried to remain strong, but Syrus gave taps on his back.
"Someone has to go first, Chum... and Jaden finally got the victory that it would indeed intimidate everyone from Obelisk Blue, it will not take long for him to be there... so let's be strong and go to Ra as well," Syrus said those kind words, which made the chubby duelist nod his head.
"What are you two talking about?" Bastion asked as he couldn't comprehend what was happening.
Alexis could see it, Syrus and Chumley were happy, as it came to a single conclusion... Hiro, Jasmine, and Mindy knew how the talk would go, which meant one thing.
"Jaden just won the duel," The whole group of studies said in unison, which surprised them, and even more the Ra smartest duelist... Who then looked at the duel with other eyes.
The same couldn't be said by Chazz Princeton.
"AWWWWWWW, LOOK AT THIS LITTLE CARD, IT'S SO CUTE." Many Obelisk Girls shouted in approval since they loved to see the cute card known as Winged Kuriboh on the field.
"And I will change Elemental Hero Blazeman in defense position, and I will set a facedown card... and end my turn." Jaden could feel it... the climax of the battle was there.
Chazz looked at the board and then smirked. Knowing that the Slifer Slacker must have had a terrible hand on that moment, means that he can find a way to turn the duel around.
"Good, because I'm going to place this Kuriboh on the pan... And I like to eat it well done." Chazz said as he drew a card in his hand... "But first. I'm going to use my VW- Tiger Jet ability, to change your elemental Hero Blazeman in attack position."
Chazz decided to discard a card from his hand while Jaden could see another from his monsters turned from defense to attack, and Chazz smiled as the slacker didn't seem to have anything to protect him from his imminent defeat.
"Now, Battle Phase... VW- Tiger Jet, attack this stupid Elemental Hero and make the slacker know his place." Chazz smiled as he could see his monster preparing for the attack.
Syrus remained quiet, but then he said the word that everyone who knew him could understand well.
"GG," Syrus commented, and he saw Jaden smiling victorious.
"Oh, I know my place. It's now going to Ra Dorm, waiting for my friends. I DISCARD 2 CARDS TO ACTIVATE THE QUICK SPELL, TRANSCEDENT WINGS." Jaden met the conditions of activating the quick spell which made the card appear on the field, and with that Winged Kuriboh started to evolve into a little version of himself but with giant wings and a golden helmet armor on its face.
"WHERE DID HE GET THAT CARD?" Crowler shouted as he could see that it was indeed one rare card that could have been in one of the boosters, but the Slifer duelist got it somehow. And that wasn't good...

And with that Chazz was shocked that he even started to sweat to see a little Kuriboh becoming a version far much bigger than before.
"NO, IT CAN'T BE," Chazz shouted in disbelief, while Jaden smiled in response.
"Oh, it can. Transcendent Wings made my Winged Kuriboh be able to evolve itself into a level 10 monster, and he has some neat ability. Tributting it I can destroy all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the combined original ATK of those destroyed monsters. Which two of your monsters would make him combine their attack and send it back to you." Jaden said happily as every single spectator was in awe of such a great move from a duelist. "Kuriboh, why don't you go ahead and show you how is it done? HA."
Chazz couldn't even process what happened, as the little furball with giant wings created a powerful electric barrier, combining its own energy, and then the entire arena started to shake... Then at the next moment, the monster decided to create an electric explosion that affected both VW- Tiger Catapult, and X-Head Cannon seemed on the verge of exploding as well.
And with the explosion Chazz felt a powerful smoke blast which made him recoil... and suddenly a thought came to his mind... 3800 points of damage...

Chazz went to his knees and then glared at Jaden who just won the duel.
"Pure Luck," Chazz said as he narrowed his eyes. But then Jaden decided to make an end of the point.
"Luck? Nahhh, it's more like I'm gentle with good old ladies in need. Me and my friends, and just like my friend Syrus says, luck isn't about fairness, but Karma is, so I have a lot of good Karma in me that I managed to win this duel. Hehe." Jaden said happily...
"WOAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH." And with that, the whole crowd went crazy. Every single student watched such a spectacle duel between an underdog duelist suddenly becoming the dark horse of the entire Academy.
"YES." Syrus raised his fist in cheers for his best friend who managed to win the duel.
"HE WON," Chumley said as he felt so happy that even his tears couldn't contain from his face.
"DAMN, THAT WAS COOL," Hiro shouted as he had very good duels with Jaden, but seeing Jaden have such control against the one who everyone feared from Obelisk Blue? That showed how good a duelist the hero boy has become.
"Yep, it's like you said Lex." Jasmine smiled as she even gave a good smile to the newest duelist who now is the center of the attentions of everyone. "Firstly professor Crowler, now Chazz, who do you think he can duel in the future?"
"Maybe Principal Sherpard?" Mindy said as a good joke, which the duo of girls now thought about both Jaden indeed challenging the principal of the Academy of the duels...

"Yep, I can see it happening," Alexis commented as she facepalmed.
"Yeah, it has his name on it." Jasmine rolled her eyes, knowing Jaden would indeed do something like that.
And obviously, not everyone was happy with the outcome.
"IMPOSSIBLE, NOT WITH ALL THE RARE CARDS I GAVE TO CHAZZ. THIS CANNOT BE TRUE." Crowler showed as his entire face was on the glass, and he didn't think he was overheard by the only person who was simply watching the duel with him.
"Rare Cards? What are you talking about Crowler?" Principal Sheppard asked which made Crowler freeze in his place and then do his best to find an excuse to leave.
"Nothing. I have to take a look at some tests." Crowler decided to gulp his pride and walk away... not knowing Principal Sherpard was chuckling to see him leaving the place.
Principal Sherpard then gave another glance at the student who just managed to get a promotion... on the first exam of the school... a good and well-talented student.
Jaden raised his fist as a way of victory and decided to give his iconic words.
"AND THAT'S GAME," Jaden spoke at the Obelisk Blue into his knees. And with a happy face, he decided to say that he always had good fun in a duel. "Can't wait for a rematch, if you want it..."
"Of course we will," Chazz said as he looked annoyed in the same way he looked defeated.
Jaden smiled as he then saw the group of friends walking towards him.
"Yo JADEN," Syrus called, as he went on the arena... and Jaden seeing his best friend raising his hand, both gave a very good high five. Chumley came next and gave a bear hug towards his friend who just got surprised and now felt that he was getting smashed.
Jaden then saw Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy nodding their heads in approval, and Hiro giving a thumbs up from how cool his duel was.
And then to surprise everyone around the arena... Principal Sheppard decided to use the interphone.
"You dueled really well Jaden, never in the history of our honored Academy School, we had a Slifer having a promotion duel against an Obelisk Student, Jaden, you not only managed to remain on the field but also won the duel. Your courage against the oppression it's inspiring, and with great pride, I announce your promotion for RA YELLOW." Principal Sherpard smiled as he used the microphone to make the announcement and with that, the entire Academy cheered for the newest Ra Yellow Student.
"YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH." Jaden, Syrus, and Chumley cheered with their fists in the air. "1 down 2 to go, 1 down 2 to go, 1 down 2 to go."
Syrus, Jaden, and Chumley excitedly cheered as they made this chant for their future reservations of the newest dorm that they will focus on getting.
Bastion could see why the group seemed so happy and proud to see Jaden being the first student to go that far in a good duel. And he couldn't help but smile at seeing how great co-students would be something he actually got tempted to unite himself with them.
"Great show Jaden, allow me to be the first one to give you the welcome to our yellow Ra Dorm." Bastion raised his hand, for the hero duelist, and Chumley and Syrus nodded their heads to their friend, who got really happy for the welcome granted.
"Thank you very much," Jaden said as he also gave his hand for a good handshake with Bastion the smartest student in the school.
And with that, everyone in the academy started to celebrate the victory of the student who managed to break the expectations of everyone.
Late that afternoon, Syrus was doing his usual push-ups while Chumley was with his arms tired of so much stress for the entire day.
"So, Wisteria..." Syrus commented which made Chumley get up from his bed.
"WHERE?" Chumley said as he looked fearful, which made Syrus chuckle.
"Nothing... just wanted to ask your opinion of her. From the way you described your duel, she seemed a very strong Obelisk girl.
"Oh, yeah... she kinda made me scared... but also, I saw that she wasn't judging me for the fact I was a repentant... but mostly because I was taking her time away. And from what the others said, it seems that she does that with everyone... so I'm glad that it isn't just me." Chumley commented as he could see Syrus still having time to do some workouts. "You still make me tired just by watching you do that."
"Well, that's the way we live Chumley, just because we will get 100% from the test, doesn't mean that we don't have to keep improving ourselves... Remember, Jaden it's Ra now... but we still have a focus to go ahead." Syrus replied as he wanted his best friend to get the best of himself.
And at that moment, Jaden opened the door.
"What's up, everyone." Jaden appeared as his yellow jacket showed a good new version which Syrus never thought he would have seen in his entire life.
"Jaden, you look awesome in yellow," Syrus commented as he never thought he would see it, Jaden for the first time wasn't wearing red, and different from the anime, it seems that Jaden indeed stuck with the Ra.
"Thanks, but to be honest, I think it's going to take a while for me to get used to it," Jaden commented as he pouted a little.
"Makes sense... So, what are you doing here? Did you forget something from this bedroom? Need help to decorate your bedroom on Yellow Ra?" Chumley asked while Syrus took a towel to clean his face... but then both sniffed something delicious which made them both pause.
"Actually, I managed to get a surprise for us... The chefs on Ra were awesome, I told them I would need to eat 4 sandwiches, and they immediately made it for me to snuck in at night... So here it is... Grilled Cheese just for us." Jaden said as his entire smile was wide...
And Chumley couldn't help but gulp, while his eyes started to water.
Syrus, smiled... as it was indeed what they had been battling for... a pact made by their friendship... to promote themselves into their own objective...

After the first Bite, Chumley was focused on being promoted the soon as possible.
And Syrus would help him... like he always would do for his friends.
