"Nooo, that's impossible... It's a nightmare, THIS IS A NIGHTMARE." A shout crossed the corridors of the Academy, where the cleaning staff seemed to glance at each other, but not before shrugging and ignoring the voice echoing around the corridors... The shouts of anger, the laments of sorrow, and the laughs in disbelief...

That was the sounds Veridian Crowler was making after the worst attempt of trying to make one Red Slifer... now a Yellow Ra student failed such a test... Slamming his head on the desk... The headmaster of the Obelisk Blue... had to accept, one of the worst nightmares he had ever seen in his life...

Jaden Yuki = 100% of correct answers on the written exam...

The boy who was a slacker in many of his classes, somehow managed to answer correctly all the questions elaborated by the Dueling Academy Staff...

From looking at the students like Bastion Misawa, Alexis Rodhes, and Syrus Trusdale were expected, but now having Chumley Huffington, also there was a student of Red Slifer named Hiro Yamada, who seemed to be one ordinary student, but also managed to answer everything correctly.

"WHAT'S GOING ON? HOW THIS GROUP MANAGED TO SCORE EVERYTHING RIGHT?" Professor Crowler shouted as he slammed his face on the desk, while he couldn't sabotage the questions, he had diligent work to do... and now he had to mark 100% for all the students who managed to answer correctly... And it was painful to him... Oh god, how painful was for him to mark all of them correctly.

"I can't believe it... I need vacations..." Crowler said as he took a cup of coffee, but his hands were shaking from such a traumatic event for himself.

A few days later...

The hot sauces are distributed globally, and the company sponsors dueling events, providing attendees with a taste of their exquisite creations. The distinct quality and dueling-themed editions make Huffington Heatwaves a symbol of excellence and innovation.

Inside a factory of hot sauce, the most known hot sauce in the world, was well administered by a man who was wearing his white T-shirt with dark grey hair, and a round nose, was drinking his hot sauce bottle as he was still watching his employees doing their best to remain as the good name knowing of Huffington productions, a company where no hot sauce would be the best in comparison than theirs. Chefs would buy for their own recipes, competitions were made for crazy people who would try to drink their own spice products...

And recently a group of friends managed to do something crazy like competing on dueling monsters and having them eat fried chicken with their hot sauce... Somehow such an idea became popular that the productions went better and better for the name of the company...

But still, there was something that always bugged the man who was commanding such a factory of spice sauce...

"Ah Wayne, glad to see you there... It seems that Chumley's grades finally came by mail." A man wearing a white bathrobe and with a glass of whiskey in his hands appeared... Which was the bane of the existence of the owner of the factory...

"Ugh... just launch in the trash Fred, I don't want to be angry at this morning. Knowing my son once again failed this year would be like one more time wasting money and my patience." The father replied as he wanted to ignore the smile on the face of his good brother. A person younger than him, but instead of having their iconic hair, he has a beard and was bald... fun for the jokes he does all Christmas since his brother is known for being the most waster... extravagant..., and prodigal... yeah that sounded right...

"Oh come on, Wayne... don't you have hope for your own son?" Fred approached with a smile like his face was verge of a devil temptating someone... "Okay, let's make a good deal then... If these grades go badly as you say, then you can go to try to take your boy out of the school... Scout honor."

"You were never a scout, but okay, what do you gain in case he has good grades?" The owner of the factory knows his brother very well... and knowing all the things his brother would do would be exactly asking his...

"I'm going to use your credit card to buy something nice for him. Simple like that." Fred smiled, his iconic smile, which Wayne narrowed his eyes...

"Frederik, I know that you are hiding something from me... but well, you better pray for this being good, or I'm going to take a boat and row until there by myself to drag him down..." Wayne took the envelope from his brother's hands, which the bathrobe man gave a side-step, and waited for the judgment of his brother... Wayne rolled his eyes, and with a good bottle of his hot sauce, he opened it just for the sake of drinking to forget it... but then the first time he gave a side glance at the paper... he stopped, and by blinking, he looked closer just to check it was true... "100%, excellency of 100%, duel skills 100%... he... just made 100% accuracy, in both theoretical and practical exam..."

Frederik smiled, seeing his brother in shock, he quickly and quietly like a mouse went near Wayne and took the credit card from the wallet of the hot sauce factory boss... Fred always knew that his nephew was talented, and he had no idea how it happened... but to see his brother shutting his mouth really takes the cake...

At the time Fred was about the leave the door, Wayne quickly recovered his sense.

"Not more than 1000 dollars Fred, I'm warning you. No more than that." The voice of the boss of the company called as Fred rolled his eyes... His brother sometimes it's too paranoid when it comes to him and money...

"How much for this Artograph Futura Light Table for Artists, 500$? Okay, I want that, and which computer is the most expensive for young boys? You know what? Forget about it, give me the professional, that one, the black one. How much is it? 4200 dollars? Fine, Give me 2, one for my nephew and one for me... How about a printer? Oh, that one looks exclusive, do I need to sign some papers to allow me to have access?" Fred the first moment he got inside the biggest company of artistical technology in Domino City surprised not just the salesman but even some clients who looked at the man still drinking whiskey and wearing nothing else than his usual bathrobe.

"Right, Mr Huffington." The manager who was watching such extravagant client interaction was so happy like he wasn't even caring about how much he was going to expend... His favorite type of client. "I have to warn you, sir, this printer isn't any printer, but also the printer used for little models made by Ilusions Company, not only they printing papers. But also for printing plastic with high quality. For a T-shirt, Banners, or whatever company you want to develop sir."

"Please, first off. Mr. Huffington is my brother, call me Mr. K, second, I'm not building a company, this is a gift for my nephew." Fred Huffington smiled as he saw the look on the face of the manager who just was in disbelief. "Now Peter Sales, also do me a favor and wrap everything up, because this is going to be a nice gift for him."

"That wasn't my name sir." The manager snapped from his thoughts and recovered his composure... But he couldn't help but tilt his head. "But sir, does your nephew know how to print using this printer?"

"No, but there is an excellent hobby to expend a lot of money on it." And with that, Fred took the credit card of his own brother, which was a black card, that alone made the manager of the establishment shed a tear.

"Right this way sir." The manager felt moved by the way of life from the person who didn't care about spending money, his own brother's money. And yet, that person became a big name such as the times that Maximilian Pegasus himself came to the store to buy more products for Illusion's company.

And with Fred spending good money on his nephew, he was happy, spending money makes him happy... So it's a win-win situation... Not for his brother though... but he doesn't care about the cheap hand his brother always has... He isn't the main department of marketing just by the name, to know how to sell, you know how to buy. So he is one of the reasons why people always buy Huffington's hot sauce because good marketing is what makes people pay their money...

"Well, well, well. Look what we have here?" Then a voice which made the peaceful man who likes to spend stuff frown deeply and show distaste for the voice's direction... A man with a shaped brownish-grey hair, a dark aquamarine suit with a red tie on his neck, and a smug smile on his face. "Still wearing a bathrobe and walking like a lunatic Fred?"

"Nice to see you again Jagger," Frederik said in his amused tone. "And as I said before, what I like to wear or whatever clothes I go shopping for, it's my damn business, and I can hear a complaint about you if you pay me 2 thousand per complaint."

Jagger snickered as he could see the same person was still the same, someone he always liked to stare down, a man trying to act like a rich...

"Why don't you stop pretending that you are a billionaire? You are just a millionaire at maximum, even if you and your brother are the best on the hot sauce around the world, you still need to stay away from the big dogs like us." Jagger said smugly as the manager went back with the good products even covered in paper wrap... "What is that? Buying a gift for someone? Don't tell me you have a son."

"Nah, it's for my nephew, yeah the same one who repeated the Academy trice, we discovered today that he scored 100% percent on his test this year... So it's nice to celebrate and give him money to show that we care." Fred replied as he could see the smug smile from the suited man showing an actual expression of surprise.

"Oh, he did it? Wow, 3 years to finally get a 100%, well yeah that's indeed asking for a celebration. Send him my regards to him too, I will be on my way. See you later Huffington." Jagger said as he turned his back to leave the store.

"You too Princeton," Fred replied as the sound of the glass door was closed, the said man scoffed. "Jerk. Now I need to expend another 10 thousand to take out this bad omen from me. I'm going to buy new pens for me..."

Even after the events of dealing with one of the trio of annoying brats... Still, it would be an interesting afternoon for a nice cup of whiskey, bacon chips, and seeing his brother freaking out from the credit card bill... That's what he was so eager for Chumley finally has a good grade... This time his brother will regret to ever doubt on his son ever again... Ah, the joy of buying things.

Kaiba Corp's headquarters is depicted as a towering, futuristic skyscraper that reflects the company's status as a technological powerhouse. The exterior design is sleek and modern, with the iconic Kaiba Corp logo displayed prominently on the building. The building's architecture symbolizes the company's commitment to cutting-edge innovation and gaming technology.

Entering the Kaiba Corp headquarters, the lobby exudes a sense of sophistication and professionalism. High-tech security measures are in place, reflecting the confidential nature of the company's projects. The reception area features holographic displays showcasing the latest Duel Monsters products and advancements in gaming technology.

Moving further into the building, there are state-of-the-art research and development labs where Kaiba Corp engineers and scientists work tirelessly to create new gaming devices and improve existing technology. The labs are equipped with advanced computers, holographic projection systems, and testing facilities for Duel Monsters cards and Duel Disks.

And on the penultimate floor of the same company. Mokuba's office within Kaiba Corp reflects his growth and evolving responsibilities. While not as extravagant as Seto Kaiba's office, Mokuba's workspace is still modern and well-equipped.

His desk is organized and efficient. He has a computer workstation for handling administrative tasks, communication, and managing schedules. The desk is adorned with a few personal items, such as family photos and memorabilia.

Mokuba's office includes a small meeting area where he can discuss projects with colleagues and team members. The space is designed to facilitate collaboration and decision-making.

Like the rest of Kaiba Corp, Mokuba's office features advanced technology. He has access to holographic displays, communication devices, and other tech gadgets to stay connected and informed about the company's activities. Mokuba's office showcases a blend of professionalism and a personal touch. He might have artwork or decorations that reflect his interests and contributions to the company.

Given the strong bond between the Kaiba brothers, Mokuba's office may also include subtle nods to the Kaiba family legacy. This could include items that highlight the company's history or the importance of Duel Monsters in their lives. While Seto Kaiba's office is more grandiose and reflects his role as the CEO and top duelist, Mokuba's office is designed to suit his responsibilities and personal style. Together, their offices contribute to the overall dynamic of Kaiba Corp as a central hub for gaming technology and innovation in the Domino City.

By reading the reports about the future projects related to Kaiba Corp, the youngest brother of the Kaiba family stretched himself to take a slight break from all the work.

"I still don't know how Seto does that every day..." Mokuba felt sore to remain on the same chair for hours. So a good time to have a snack from the machine near his door.

"And then he said I'm going full Kaiba in your ass, and I don't know when I'm going to stop it." One of the bodyguards nearby explained the story which made Mokuba blink and stare in surprise at the conversation as he pressed the keys of the snack machine.

"No way Hahahahahaha." The other bodyguard laughed as he couldn't believe what his ears were hearing. "And did he have what it takes to say such a thing?"

"Oh he does, my brother George gave me the video. I swear, it was like watching Mr. Kaiba become a student and destroy the hopes and dreams of that brat. He said the duel would end up with 4 cards, and it ended up exactly like he said." The bodyguard said cheerfully not noticing that someone walked behind him... Looking at his coworker getting palled, the bodyguard tilted his head but not before he felt someone tapping his back... And he then preferred it was a demon instead of his boss. "Mr. Mokuba,"

Mokuba stared at the conversation in amusement, knowing that every time his bodyguards saw him after his own break, they kept themselves on their toes...

"Please continue, I'm on a break now, so having something to distract me from work would be a good way to relax... So tell me about who was the person who imitated my brother Seto?" Mokuba would have scolded both of his bodyguards by leaving their post, but seeing that day was so full of work. He got interested in knowing about what just happened.

"Well, Mokuba sir... It's about the students of Dueling Academy, my brother is a teacher there, and he said this year there are a few talented students from Slifer dorm who managed to score 100% on both writing and practical exams..." The bodyguard explained as he could see the eyes of the Kaiba youngest sharp and even sparkle in interest.

"Slifer dorm students? I think that's something Seto would be interested to know... Well, I'm going to make a call to Sherpard, he may have some interesting info to share..." Mokuba nodded his head in appreciation but there was also one question in mind. "But what about the student you were talking a while ago?"

"His name is Syrus Trusdale, and from what my brother told me, the Trusdales seem to be always an aberration when it comes to their talents in duel, the eldest Zane Truesdale has the nickname of Kaizer because he never lost a duel in the Academy, and he is treated as the best student of the school."

Mokuba nodded his head and turned his way back to his office... He has some questions related to the principal of the school, and if the video recordings are like all his bodyguards say it was... Then it would be a good thing to share with his brother Seto...

Seto Kaiba's office is located on the top floor of the Kaiba Corp headquarters, offering a breathtaking view of the city. His office is a blend of luxury and functionality. The room is spacious, with minimalist and modern decor. The color scheme is dominated by shades of blue, reflecting the iconic color associated with Kaiba Corp.

Seto Kaiba's desk is a masterpiece of design and technology, featuring a holographic interface that allows him to monitor the company's operations, review Duel Monsters data, and communicate with key personnel. The walls are adorned with awards, accolades, and large digital screens displaying live dueling events and real-time market data.

A prominently displayed glass case houses some of the rarest and most powerful Duel Monsters cards, showcasing Kaiba's dedication to the game. Bookshelves line the walls, containing volumes on gaming strategy, technology, and Kaiba family history.

Kaiba's office also includes a private Dueling arena, where he can engage in intense duels without leaving the comfort of his workplace. The arena is equipped with the latest simulation technology, providing a lifelike dueling experience.

Overall, the Kaiba Corp headquarters and Seto Kaiba's office embody a perfect blend of luxury, innovation, and a commitment to excellence, and that's what he intended to do since the time he assumed the company from his adoptive father.

And at being known as one of the best duelists in the entire world, and also a very responsible member of society, he must always check the reports on all the projects he had done from both his own dueling stats, and developing future projects and events to make changes around the world.

He always preferred to remain occupied working on his projects alone, but then something called for his own door...

"Seto, it's me..." Then the only person whom he could authorize free access to cross around his floor called for him, as time of business and work, his young brother always knew not to call him unless there was something that he would be interested to know about or something that he should be prepared for it.

He didn't wait to reply, which got the white suit young brother across the doors of his own office. And holding some files in his hands.

"If you came here then there must be something important I should know, Mokuba." The CEO of the most-known company around the world said sharply, and by seeing the files in his brother's hands, it would be something that he would need to check.

"Precisely, Seto." Mokuba quickly placed the files on his brother's table and decided to describe what was happening. "The first period of exams on the Dueling Academy came to a conclusion that surpassed the expectations of not just the teachers, but also something that you should be aware of. One student was promoted from Red Slifer to Ra Yellow on his first exam."

Seto Kaiba was sitting on his chair when he checked the file showing a familiar picture of a boy who participated in a contest he created years ago...

"A professor decided to make an unauthorized challenge breaking most of the rules in the school since he made a duelist from the Slifer Red to duel someone from a rank far above him, but after the practical exam, the challenged student from Slifer Red, showed the skills which made Principal Sherpard acknowledge him to be promoted at the end of the duel," Mokuba explained as some rules were broken since they made a promotion exam without the authorization of the boss of the Kaiba Corp. "And from the reports I gathered, the professor who wanted to make the promotion exam was the same one who lost the challenge for the said student on the admission exam for the academy."

Seto Kaiba raised his eyebrow as he looked once again for the file with the photograph of the said student... the picture of the kid who won the contestant was clear at the time he managed to make him the winner, and also make the heroic deck to launch on the space... And from the name of the files... the name was clear.

"Jaden Yuki... that's a name that rings a bell..." Seto Kaiba nodded his head as he saw a pen drive on the file nearby him... "This pendrive?"

"The recordings of the said duel. Jaden Yuki had a duel for promotion against Chazz Princeton, which showed a one-side duel with Yuki as a winner... Something that clarifies why he deserved to be promoted in the first place." Mokuba pointed as he watched his own brother placing the pen drive into his hologram system to watch the duel with more details...

At the time Seto Kaiba watched the duel, he could picture everything wrong happening in that duel.

"That Princeton, he is an idiot. He had no idea how to control his hand or field... I wouldn't be surprised that his deck was focused around VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon." Seto Kaiba explained as he broke down the strategies made by both duelists. "Yuki had total control of his deck, knowing the necessity of having more cards in hands, and managed to make a victory with as little damage as possible. The difference in their skills can be noticed for a mile of distance. It's a well-deserved promotion, so who was the teacher who proposed the challenge?"

"Professor Veridian Crowler," Mokuba replied as he could see the Kaiba remaining quiet, but his eyes showed acknowledgment of all the info he had been given. "It seems that his attempt to of his petty revenge did come to bite him in the end."

"Don't be an idiot Mokuba," Kaiba rudely replied which made his little brother stop and be quiet to hear his own brother come to an explanation. "For a professor who managed a PhD, he wouldn't care about such silly things about a student passing the admission exam, no, this is far different... now think straight Mokuba, if a teacher who managed with such good capacity and good name of the academy would propose the idea for a student to go a promotion test... what do you think it would be his true intentions?"

Mokuba remained quiet... and proceeded to rethink the facts pointed out from the files, a student who surpassed a teacher, someone who didn't start paying attention to the classes, but in the written and practical exam managed to get the full score from the academy... A teacher is willing to risk breaking the rules for the sake of promoting a student with all the odds against him... unless...

"Favoritism." Mokuba realized as he could see it... A well-renowned teacher who saw a student with full potential... "He found a protege."

"Now you understand Mokuba." Kaiba finished reading the report coming from Principal Sherpard to show more details about the duel itself. "From the cards described by the Sherpard, Chazz Princeton had an entire deck with new cards that he may never used before, so that also means that the boy wanted to trust so much in new rare cards, that he didn't have time to practice or even prepare himself against a duelist like Jaden Yuki. I would have called it sabotage, but from the background the boy has, both his brothers are the same spoiled brats as him. So I will approve this report of Jaden Yuki being promoted by Ra... But I'm also curious about what the teachers are going to do with Princeton if he doesn't keep up with his studies. Are there any more reports?"

"Oh right, well, from the roommates Jaden Yuki has, there are 2 that I know you would be interested to know."The young sibling pointed at one of the files showing the picture of a student and Seto Kaiba raised his eyebrows. "Chumley Huffington, a repentant student for the third time, failed to pass last year, but after the addition of the two students in his dorm, he showed better understanding from the classes and also managed to score 100% on both written and practical exams. Against a student from the Obelisk Blue of the female dormitory named Wisteria, and I did a comparison from his first attempt a few years ago, and the difference was clear like crystal."

Seto Kaiba took the pen drive from the said duel, and played on his screen... he could see the development of skills said from the Slifer Red student, and watching the disastrous duel which would have been laughable for Seto Kaiba, it can shows great understanding of maturing towards the Slifer Red student...

"Fiendish Chain was used in perfect timing, I saw a situation like that happen in the championship in Norway, at the time a duel would have ended up with the wrong timing, but this student seemed to have matured and developed some interesting skills..." Kaiba looked amused as he could see the nervousness from the chubby student, but at the time he used the right card at the right time and then made his deck beast type showing good cards like Des Kangaroo. "Hmmm, isn't that Des Kangaroo?"

"Yeah, it was used in the right combination. I'm glad to find someone who used a deck like mine." Mokuba smiled as he could see Seto Kaiba knowing that his first type of dueling monster's deck was a DES beast archetype. "Maybe he has Master of Oz, and he didn't have time to show it."

"He didn't need to have time... he didn't waste it. Looking at the female student she wanted the duel to end quickly. So it didn't matter for her if she won or she lost, she wanted to not waste time..." KaIba finished his thoughts as he nodded his head in approval. "Okay, and the last student?"

"Seto..." Mokuba said calmly... As he tried to do everything he could to not chuckle, and neither show any kind of reaction. He looked straight at his older brother and said with his voice as serious as he could. "He is you..."

Kaiba stared at his younger brother, waiting for his little brother to chuckle, since he knew that his brother would only play in a situation like that... and one minute had passed, Mokuba was trying to hold his laugh... and with the serious face of his own brother, he couldn't help but let it out a laugh.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAH. Okay, you got me, but I'm serious..." Mokuba took a few seconds to recompose himself and look at his brother in the eye again. "His name is Syrus Truesdale, and he is the brother of Zane Truesdale, the prodigy of the Academy... and I think it's best if you watch the duel by yourself. Because you will understand what I mean."

Seto watched at the time that didn't show the start of the duel, just two students preparing themselves... Well, one student, the other who seemed to be wearing the Obelisk Blue Jacket seemed to be starting to use trash-talking before the duel started. And the Red Slifer Student seemed to be quiet and preparing to duel.

"Who is the Obelisk Blue Student?" Kaiba asked, seeing his brother opening the file and pointing at the picture of the brown-haired student...

"His name is Reginald Van Howell III, he was known as one the top 5 students of the first year of the Obelisk Blue dormitory." Mokuba pointed out as the duo watched the annoying student who didn't seem to shut up... Until was the moment Mokuba waited so much for his brother to see.

"Oy, look at me, I'm trash-talking about you. Why don't you take your ridiculous hair out of the field, and let me win for default, that would waste less time for both of us."

"I'm going full Kaiba on your ass... and I don't know when I'm going to stop it."

Mokuba had to bite his checks to not laugh loudly by seeing the face of Seto Kaiba, who seemed to be staring at the screen in total disbelief. Like he just saw a video that could probably be insulting.

"What does he mean by that?" Kaiba narrowed his eyes, seeing a thermology that he never heard about... And expression using his own name on it. Going full him in someone's ass, what does he mean like that?

"Well, after I watch the video... I'm going to explain to you, how that makes so much sense..." Mokuba smiled, as there was something that reached his memory for so long, and with all the smile on his face, he pointed at the blue-haired boy who had with serious expression on his face. "You..." And then moved his finger to point out the brown-haired boy from the Obelisk Blue dorm. "Joey Wheeler."

At the time Seto Kaiba heard such words, he stopped, and then his frown turned upside down, and with all the amusement he showed on his face, now he could understand the meaning of the words.

"Okay, now I'm interested to know how this will go." Kaiba placed both hands on the table, as he leaned closer to the screen to observe the interaction of the duel, and with a hidden smirk, he could already see that he was going to enjoy seeing that. "Let's see if he has the skill to be me."

.

.

.

"This student is an amateur, he made a terrible mistake of wasting his entire hand in one monster in the first turn." Kaiba was having a headache to see what would be the top tear of the first year Obelisk Blue, it was a deception in his eyes, about so many problems in the same strategy, and yet the student on the screen seemed to be so proud of himself that he bowed like he was in a show.

"And now that I created a powerful wall, there is no way that you can defeat me, I will end my turn." "Thank you, thank you. Now I want you to try to entertain me with how useless your car..."

"You talk too much. Shut up...It's my turn, draw."

Kaiba then had his eyes almost opened, and sharply noticed the posture the Red Slifer student had, which he felt it was familiar to him... but from where?

"I predict this duel will end in 4 cards."

And like a snap of fingers, Seto Kaiba looked at himself in the past,

("I'll estimate I will use 4 magic cards," Seto Kaiba said as he looked at the horrified expression of Siegfried who thought he won the duel...

"That's right, I want to destroy you with those 4 cards... First card, activate Death Badge from my hand. 5 cards may be drawn from my deck the others are sent by the cemetery."

"Second card, from my hand, activate magic card, Soul Release. Both choose 5 cards from the cemetery to be banished from the game."

"Third card, from my hand, I activate the magic card, Newborn Magic. Sending 2 cards from my hand to the cemetery I retrieve a magic card from there."

"Fourth card, using 2000 life points, from my deck, I activate the magic card, Sub-Fusion. This allows me to special summon monsters banished from the game on this turn."

And with that Seto Kaiba created the best combo of magic cards to fulfill his field with his strongest monsters. And with perfect precision... he defeated Siegfried, shaming him once again...

)

And Syrus Truesdale shouted the First Card, Second, Third, and Fourth Card... and just like himself, he crushed the opponent like an insect... leaving him on his knees...

"BM-4 Blast Spider, then Desperado Barrel Dragon, and 2 Limiter Removal, he wasn't kidding when he said he would have defeated Reginal with 4 cards," Mokuba said amused, and his own brother was staring at the screen like he was seeing a boy with the same skills and talent as himself. And he was about to say something when suddenly Reginald decided to open his mouth.

"That's impossible, there is no way that I could lose to a Slifer, anyone but a Slifer."

Seto Kaiba scoffed and was about to reprimand for the lack of skills when suddenly the same boy who did the OTK appeared near the Obelisk brat.

"Are you even listening yourself?" "Did you ever consider that Slifer students were on the red dorm because they are talented in the duel but sucked in written exams? Ever thought about the possibility of dueling Jaden Yuki, the student who defeated your representative of Obelisk Dorm? Did you even learn a lesson when the results ended like this?"

Seto Kaiba leaned closer as he was interested in what Syrus Trusdale was about to say.

"No, you didn't. That's because you guys from Obelisk think of yourselves as highty and Mighty, but when it comes to losing, you blame such things as luck, or because you didn't rest well or saying if you used another deck you would have won, etc... Luck is also a Skill you fool." "Card of Sanctity would allow me to take cards until I have 6, but also you. And even if you would have survived one turn... Would you also survive the next one?"

The boy looked like he saw a ghost... And from looking at his deck... He took 6 cards... And it was 6 equip cards, but nothing that would bring a monster on the field.

Syrus noticed his reaction. So as Seto Kaiba and Mokuba... the boy was helpless.

"Of course, you say that you Obelisk Blue the representation of Kaiba's mighty... But you are all trash of the trash of the trash. I think even Weevil Underwood would win against you... Without cheating."

"Oof... that's gonna need some ice. Because never thought Weevil Underwood would have used such low bar towards the students of the academy." Mokuba said as he flinched from such insult... he remembered how terrible Weevil was when he heard about his plan to try to win against Joey Wheeler, and still hearing that Weevil would have been better than an Obelisk student from first year, was indeed a terrible insult to indigest.

"He isn't wrong though... Such a terrible duelist needs a reality check because he was trying to blame such useless things like luck and even others... it's his skill that sucks, and he needs improvement." Kaiba nodded his head in agreement and seeing that the boy from Slifer Red didn't finish he waited for what he was about to say.

"You guys act like you are superior to anyone, but you guys are pissing yourselves scared to go against Zane Trusdale, isn't that right?"

The Obelisk student remained quiet. Which made Seto Kaiba even scoff in disgust.

"Oh, so they think they are the top dogs, but hearing the name of a duelist they become too afraid to tremble in their places? What is that a kindergarten?" Kaiba was getting angry, and he wasn't the only one...

"ISN'T THAT RIGHT YOU THIRD-RATE DUELIST, WITH A FOURTH-RATE DECK?" Syrus shouted angrily, which at that time made Seto Kaiba have his eyes wide open in surprise, and see himself in the position like Syrus Truesdale and the person he was holding to humiliate and give a reality check was the annoying Joey dog stupid Wheeler who doesn't understand the concept of being a true duelist... Now he could see the resemblance between himself and the blue-haired as neither of them didn't care about such things as excuses, they practiced to show their skills.

The boy seemed to be getting more and more attention from the owner of the Kaiba Corp.

"Ohh, scared to say, huh? Do you guys think you can't take him? How many styles have you guys tried? 1vs1, 2vs1, 3vs1? 5vs1? Then let me tell you... I can take Zane. Or at least I have the balls to challenge him."

The Obelisk student looked at Syrus as if he was crazy. But Kaiba smirked, from liking the guts of knowing the kid wasn't afraid of challenge, the opposite, he would go straightly to challenge the person.

"His brother right?" Kaiba asked Mokuba nodded and gave a file for Seto to verify, the number of victories and all the good prizes and compliments the teachers had over him, showing strategy adaptability... just like Kaiba wanted for all students of his academy... And now seeing the younger brother determined to take his older one... He looked at Mokuba, and a thought crossed his mind... "Remind me to duel more with you Mokuba, we need to develop your skills in dueling... and when these two have a showdown, I want to be there. To evaluate their skills."

Mokuba was surprised by seeing Seto wanting to spend more time with him, even dueling more with him... He wasn't a very good duelist, but his brother always found ways to improve his skills, even though he didn't like to duel much, he couldn't lie that seeing a younger brother wanting to prove himself to his older brother... made him interested to have another deck to duel with his brother Seto again.

"Okay," Mokuba smiled, as the duo continued watching the words of the young Trusdale... Or the pathetical attempt of the obelisk student to try to reply over the confident Slifer.

"How would be sure? You are just a..."

"You think I'm going to be a Slifer forever? Oh boy... Then let me tell you something, sooner or later I'm going to be a Ra student... And in the future, I'm going to be an Obelisk. And when I get my steps on that dorm... Ohhh, there are going to be a lot of changes on there, you ungrateful brats."

Seto Kaiba smiled, but then grinned wildly at the boy who showed determination, like a shark who wants to devour the little fishes who wanted to go in his way... A little shark who would want to go to the top to challenge his older brother, and from the words he was saying, neither was a lie to Kaiba, because he could see that boy using his blue jacket, and he couldn't help but smile evilly on how this little boy would break the spirits of the disappointment students who were supposed to be the top dogs... Ungrateful brats indeed.

"You are the dirt of the dirt. And put a shame on the Blue Jacket that Kaiba created for the Academy. When Kaiba bragged, it was because he IS SETO MOTHERHUGGER KAIBA. He created an academy for to teachers help everyone learn how to duel, you should have focused that this is a practical exam but instead, you thought it was a status flexing. Pathetic. You Obelisk brats are Pathetic."

And with that, the video stopped... Mokuba remained in silence, not sure how his older brother would respond... Until suddenly his own brother couldn't control himself.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. YES, YES, THIS. THIS WAS THE REASON I CREATED THE DUELING ACADEMY." Kaiba laughed as he was full of pride in seeing someone who had the same vision as him, showing his entire opinions towards the people he looked down upon. "THIS IS WHY I CAN BRAG ALL THE TIME, I'M SET MOTHERHUGGER KAIBA, AND THERE IS NO ONE ELSE THAT CAN DO IT, JUST ME"

Mokuba seeing his older brother shouting proudly of who he is, and even remaining family friendly towards the media, that was something he knew Seto would use in his duels from now on, suggesting a motherhugging would be funny for everyone, and yet damage the ego of some duelists who would find the double meaning of it.

"Yes, these Obelisk Cowards are pathetic... Princeton, Van Howell, it seems that the ranks of the students in the first year this year seemed to be the opposite, and the Slifers should have been the ones on the Obelisk Blue, I want you to find an explanation from Principal Sherpard Mokuba. And I want reports of this Trio and even all the other students who managed to score 100% on both Writing and Practical Examn, I want names and eyes on their activities for when something big happens. I want to be the first one to know about it." Seto Kaiba got up from his seat, and seeing that there were Alexis Rhodes, Bastion Misawa, Jasmine, Mindy, and Hiro's names attached to the files, he may want to read them and watch their exams from now on...

"Right, Seto." Mokuba smiled as he turned his back and decided to go back to work... And with the idea of improving his own deck for later, he decides to duel his brother for fun again...

Seto Kaiba walked towards the window of his tower, and watched the view of the city... knowing that some good changes were going to happen, for the sake of his Dueling Academy, there would be a new generation of duelists that he could see that someday he would be interested into dueling against them... Just like the time he wanted so much to duel with Yugi Muto and the Pharaoh who possessed him...

How long it would take? He doesn't know... but he could wait... since the best things come to waiting with patience.

At the academy at almost midnight, in the Slifer Red Dorm's dinner room, there was a candle that showed the expression of Syrus Truesdale his mysterious tone of voice, and he continued to explain.

"And at the photograph, Yuya just discovered one thing that it would mark him forever... that photograph showed that he was in love WITH HIS OWN MOTHER," Syrus shouted as he saw Chumley, Hiro, and even Jaden freak out.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH." Chumley and Jaden shouted in fear, while Hiro vomited on the floor, disgusted by the idea of such a terrible fate just happening.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA." Syrus laughed as he could see the disgust and the trauma appearing on their own minds, never for the sake of his well did he think it would be so funny to tell manga weird endings would be so funny to traumatize others.

"YOU ARE SICK SYRUS," Hiro shouted as he never thought he would hear such a horrifying story, and Jaden and Chumley felt so horrified that they didn't want to look in the face of a human ever again... "HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT THAT STORY?"

"Trust me, you don't want to know." Syrus waved his concerns as he saw the card appearing nearby. It was an IL Blud, a card of level 6. "A level 6 horror story, there you go."

"Well, I think it's my turn," Jaden said as the group seemed to be interested in hearing the card. "I need a level 12 because that would be the only joy I would have for today."

Hiro and Syrus chuckled while Chumley felt pity for his friend. Since at the time, Jaden has become Ra, Crowler has been on his tail for every single question... Jaden had to answer so many questions, some right, some wrong, and every time he had homework he felt that he was doing the triple homework in comparison to his friends...

"That bad?" Syrus asked, and Jaden gave a 5-page question for him to write down the quality of cards for their types... "Well, I can see how you are struggling, you would prefer to duel instead of doing actual homework."

"I just don't understand, he always has been punishing me, even when I get the question right, it feels like he wants me to be expelled from the Academy." Jaden face's went onto the table, while Syrus couldn't help but feel sympathetic, for not just Jaden, but also knowing the other episodes and even the future... So he knew one important fact.

"Let's try another perspective Jaden, one thing I learned a few years ago... That teachers it's their job to teach us, that means that if we fail, they also fail, that also means that they hate giving bad grades as the same way we hate to get them." Syrus commented that there was a fact that he even if the fandom made him the punchbag of many jokes... He knew that deep inside of his ancient gear body, there was also a human heart. "And he may not have found a way to know how to capture your desire for wanting to learn yet. So he wants you to keep improving to show that he challenged you with the expectations that you would win whenever the challenge comes to us..."

And at that moment, Jaden, Hiro, and Chumley remained quiet... as they never thought about a point of view like that. A professor who always bragged about having a Ph.D. in dueling, the pressure he must have suffered to make reports of their progress to his boss would have been something that they would have nightmares thinking of... Hiro and Chumley turned their heads to Jaden who suddenly looked confused...

"You know? You would have been my nightmare Jaden." Hiro commented as Syrus nodded his head.

"What? What are you talking about?" Jaden said as he raised both his arms.

"Sleeping in the middle of class, and your free spirit smile can sometimes be draining." Chumley nodded as he himself could see how one of their teachers would want to strangle Jaden so much.

"You guys are mean." Jaden pouted as the group chuckled at that interaction... Not knowing that sooner Professor Banner would come to tell his part of the horror story...

But in the corner beside the window, there was also a teacher who seemed quiet, without any expression on his face. His mind would cross with ideas of wanting revenge on the student who dared to visit an inferior dormitory, but after the last minutes, he had to vomit on the floor from such a traumatizing story... but at the honest conversation between students... made himself to reflect about one important question...

"Since when did I stop being a teacher?" Crowler murmured to himself, from the time he went to the college to study even the highest degree of dueling, to prove his worth. "Didn't I become a teacher to teach everyone how to be the best duelists in the entire world? Then when I stopped thinking that?"

The teacher remained on his spot, to reflect on the thoughts he had on himself, still watching his troublesome student like a hawk... But with doubts on what he was going to do...

At the time Professor Banner got inside the dinner hall of the Slifer Red, Crowler remained quiet and observed the conversation and what would be his decision later...

Consequences would be done with actions, and the actions done after such a story of the abandoned dormitory would lead to big challenges and consequences. One that Professor Crowler would deepest regret with his entire life.
