And we're back with an answer to one of my challenges, Demons at Hogwarts, rules below:

One cannot come into contact with Darkness and remain untouched by it, especially if you have another form of Darkness sleeping in your blood. For Harry, the introduction of Basilisk Venom, combined with the darkness of the Soul Chunk in his scar and the lingering dark magic of the Diary was enough to activate a long forgotten bloodline hidden deep in his soul. Look out Hogwarts, Voldemort and all who would use this Potter, for Fear is coming to Hogwarts.

RULES!

Grey or Dark Harry

Must start in the summer before third year.

Harry must have two sides, a Day form that is human and a Night form that is Demon. This can manifest as a split personality or just a form change. However, the two sides must get along.

Harry must find alleys and servants at Hogwarts who are demons as well.

Any paring welcome, but they must be human and act as Harrys moral compass. That does not mean they have to be light and can occasionally egg him on.

Sirius must be freed and become Harrys second in command as a demon.

SUGGESTIONS!

Dumbledore and Riddle being Demons like Harry and having there own forces, resulting in a three way clash.

One of Harrys parents being descended from a Demon while the other is descended from a clan of Demon Hunters.

Crossovers

Ginny being changed from the interaction with the Diary and becoming Harrys version of Bellatrix.

This idea has elements and ideas from Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan and, while not being a direct crossover, could be taken as occurring in the same world as Harry will have a Night Parade, although I do intend to use more european monsters than the Japanese Youkei. Enjoy!

A Demon with a Whip

In days of old, humans feared Demons. Every night, the Night Parade of 100 Demons would sweep through the country, leaving fear, panic and paranoia in its wake. The one who stood at the helm and held the Whip was known as the Supreme Commander. They had another name for him, Pandemonium Dominus, the Lord of Pandemonium.

Deep below the Castle of Hogwarts, in the lowest dungeon, far below normally traveled routes, a shadowy meeting room was set up with a large number of seats around a circular table. The occupants of the room were...strange to say the least. Some scuttled, some crawled, some buzzed, others flew or hung from the ceiling. Some were tall, others were short, some were thin and others were squat. What all had in common however, was that not one was human. Each and every one of the creatures in that shadowy meeting room were the stuff of nightmares for young children or even adults, or thought to be urban legends.

Sat at the head of the table was a tall being in a black suit with several black tentacles emerging from his back, long, white fingers and a faceless head framed by greasy black hair.

"Is everyone here?" asked the faceless creature in a cold, authoritarian voice.

"Yes," said the creature on his left, an equine shaped shadow with which only its glowing, slitted yellow eyes could be seen, "The representatives of each of the 83 groups of the Serpent Group have been gathered."

"Now maybe you can tell us what this is all about Slender?" asked a humanoid monster with white hair that was shedding snow, icy claws and ice blue eyes.

The creature at the head of the table stood, revealing his tall, slender body.

"I called you all here to give some interesting news," said the Slender Man, "A new Heir has awoken."

There was a large amount of movement around the room as the monsters began to quietly discuss the news.

"Wait, didn't you tell us of another Heir a few years back?" asked a hulking shadow near the back with glowing red eyes, "And look where that got us. Forced even deeper into hiding."

There was a flurry of agreement around the room.

"How can you be sure that this child won't turn out to be another failure and force us even deeper into the shadows?" continued the red eyed figure, "You know what will happen if that happens, don't you Slender?"

"Because I have seen his transformation," replied SlenderMan, drawing the protester up short, "Shortly after I felt this new Heir, I saw him Change for a moment. His Demonic side is still asleep for now, but it won't be long until he is ready to take up the Whip."

"An' just who is the wee child who's ta be out leader?" asked a strong but feminine scottish accented voice coming from the largest being in the room, a large, serpentine creature whos coils wrapped around the room thrice.

Slendermans face seemed to split as a wide mouth filled with shark like teeth appeared in a grin.

"Who else but Harry Potter?"

And thats the end. A short entry and not really indicative of what the story would be like, but all of the monsters in that room, or there kids, would serve Harry as the next Heir.

All of the monsters I would use if I continued this would be European in origin and I would probably take some liberties with representation.

If people can give me suggestions for monsters that could appear and which of Harrys classmates and teachers they could be, I will continue. Hermione is out as I plan to make her Harrys girl and, as the rules state, she has to be human, and Sirius as I already have something in mind for him. Seriously, we brits love out Ghost Dogs. Remember, European monsters only, although I may take american monsters as well if they interest me enough.
