After a whole carriage ride with Roland complaining about getting married they finally arrived at their destination...the castle where Princess Briar Rose lived

They all got out of the carriage and Yuu dragged his son Roland to go and greet the king and queen along with Princess Briar Rose herself, while Solace and Okumi watched from behind

"Good afternoon your majesties it's a pleasant day isn't it" Yuu said making Roland snort but groaned after he got elbowed in the gut by his father Yuu

"Dreadfully sorry for not arriving sooner" Yuu said as Solace was staring off into space again looking at the clouds as her uncle and cousin greet the king and queen

Okumi walked over to greet the king and queen as wall, meanwhile Solace decided to wander off into the fae forest...on her own

Rose stared blankly at Solace who sweatdropped [Solace- don't worry I got a proper scolding for wandering off] Solace said awkwardly

Rose sweatdropped [Rose- that's not what I was gonna say] Rose said with a sigh as Solace cleared her throat and continues reading

"This is my son Roland...the groom" Yuu said as he grabbed Roland who failed at attempting to escape his grasp "what a strapping young man" the queen said

"This is our daughter Briar Rose" the king said as he pulls his daughter over as Roland finally looks over only to fall silent in shock

Roland and Briar Rose both stare into each other's eyes feeling their hearts pounding immensely, Yuu smirked seeing his son find his soulmate

Okumi walked up and stood beside Roland "I'm Roland's Aunt Okumi Hiryuu and beside me is..." Okumi was about to introduce Solace but found her missing

"Solace!" Okumi said feeling panic take over as she tries to look for her daughter Roland sighed "how did I know this was gonna happen" Roland said and shook his head

"Did you lose someone?" Briar Rose asked "my cousin Solace decided to wander off, unfortunately she's prone to this...which wouldn't happen if someone kept an eye on her" Roland said rubbing the back of his neck

Hearing Roland say this only made Okumi feel worse about not keeping a better eye on her daughter Solace...

Meanwhile...

Malice was staring at his soulmark while deep in thought, Diablo walked into his room and cleared his throat catching Malice's attention

"Are you about ready to go my liege?" Diablo asked curiously as Malice threw on his Robe and took his staff in his hand "let's depart" Malice said as he walked out of his castle

Meanwhile with Solace...

Solace took off her shoes to walk around the forest easier enjoying the breeze that blew through her hair and being one with nature itself

A lovebird perched itself on Solace's shoulder "hello Ella" Solace said petting her familiar's head gently making the bird tweet softly

"Why did you wander off Lady Draconia?" Ella asked curiously as Solace sighed "hearing my cousin and uncle arguing is a bit tiring" Solace said as she gave a sad smile

"It's not your fault that uncle and cousin don't get along" Ella said as Solace fed Ella a sunflower seed making Ella tweet lovingly nuzzling against Solace's cheek

Malice looks a bit annoyed [Malice- your rather close with my wife lovebird] Malice said sounding somewhat displeased making Ella hide behind Diablo

Solace chuckled [Solace- are you jealous darling?] Solace teased making Malice scoff [Malice- Me?! Jealous of a lovebird, don't be ridiculous] Malice said in denial as Solace shook her head smiling as she continued to read

"They just don't get it" Solace said with a sigh as she sat down and began humming a tune to herself making all the birds and animals come to greet her

"The Animals still love you" Ella said with a chirp as she nuzzled against her...little did Solace know that she would soon meet her soulmate
