And we're back for an answer to DZ2's Queens syndrome challenge, rules below:

DZ2's 'Queen's Syndrome' Challenge

Plot: My name is Harry Potter: after years of hell being lied to, abused and broken, I have returned to the magical world. However, if I am to take back my life, I can't be the hero they want me to be. Instead, I must become someone else...I must become something else!

Rules: Darkish-Grey, Dark or Evil Powerful Harry

It's up to the writer when the story starts, but it MUST have references to Harry's life before he goes through his 'transformation'

As a result of the change he undergoes, Harry becomes harder, more-aggressive and DEFINITELY more-independant

Ron AND Hermione MUST try and oppose Harry's regeneration into a real wizard

NO HARMONY

All other pairings are welcome

If the story starts before Hogwarts, Harry CANNOT befriend Ron OR Hermione

If the story starts before Hogwarts, Harry can go to ANY House

Sirius MUST become free and Harry's ally

Guidelines: Crossovers

Harry's 'change' is not only emotional/mental, but physical too (Creature-Harry)

As part of his change, Harry finds a way to unlock more power

Dark-Lord Harry

Superpowerful/OP-Harry

If the story starts in/after 1st year, Harry gets a resort

Slash

Harems

In his desire to become his own man, Harry joins Tom

Harry leaves Hogwarts

Forbidden: Light Harry

Weak, Naive Harry

Ron and Hermione as Harry's friends

Sirius as Harry's enemy

Harmony

Dumbledore or anyone else getting Harry back to being the BWL

Other than that, it's up to you...

ALSO: In case anyone's wondering, the idea for the challenge came from Oliver Queen - hence the title - and how time on Lian Yu turned him into a hardened warrior willing to do whatever is necessary.

This is probably going to be a short one and fully inspired by Arrow. Enjoy!

Queens Syndrome

My name is Harry Potter. After seven years of being lied to, reviled, worshiped and nearly killed by the sheep of the Wizarding World, everything seemed to be over. Voldemort was defeated and I was looking forwards to a quiet life in a world that had learnt from their mistakes. Unfortunately, I gave the Wizarding World to much credit. Barely a year after Voldemorts defeat, the Purebloods had reclaimed their power and everything had gone back to exactly how it was before Voldemorts return. Monsters who had raped, murdered and tortured hundreds got off with just a slap on the wrist and slightly lighter pockets while the Muggleborns who should have been heros found themselves pushed to the side and treated like second class citizens again. And I was expected to just grin and shake the hands of those who had tried to kill me.

My so-called friends weren't much better. Ron didn't care, he was too busy basking in the attention he got from being my 'best friend', while Hermione kept telling me to just accept what the Ministry was doing, that they knew best. The last straw finally came when I discovered that Umbridge had been released and taken back on at the Ministry, even after all the crimes she had committed. With that, I left, vanishing into the night so no one would stop me.

Now, after five years, I return to my home country, but I am no longer the hero. Despite everything, I still care for my home and I need to save it. But, I can't do that as a hero. If I am to take down those who are poisoning my world, I must become someone else. I must become something else.

Harry Potter is alive!

Five years ago, Harry Potter, the Man Who Won, vanished from his home in the middle of the night. Despite their best efforts from our Ministry and Mr Potters friends, we were unable to find him and many believed him dead. However, today, the Man Who Won returned, looking haile and hearty and, in a meeting with the Minister, announced his intention to help repair the lingering damage left over from the War.

Draco Malfoy scoffed as he tossed the paper aside. He should have known the idea of Potter being dead was too good to be true. The damned Blood Traitor wasn't even smart enough to die. He picked up his glass of firewhiskey and walked over to the window, staring out at the moonlit gardens of his home. It didn't matter. No matter what Potter tried, there was no way he could do anything to stop the Pureblood movement, not now. They were too well entrenched. He raised his glass to take a sip, but before he could, he heard a floorboard creak just outside his office door. He narrowed his eyes. He should be alone in the House, other than the House Elves, but those vermin knew better than to make a sound. He put down his drink and drew his wand, slowly making his way to the door. Quick as a flash, he yanked the door open and pointed his wand down the hall. Nothing. He sighed and lowered his wand. He didn't know why he was so jumpy. No one could touch him after all.

He turned back to his office, only to see a black clad, hooded figure stood by the window. He let out a yelp and raised his wand, but before he could get off a spell, the weapon was struck from his hand by an arrow and the figure had a second arrow aimed at his heart.

"Draco Malfoy, you have failed this country," said the figure.

Told you it'd be short. I won't be continuing this since its literally what came to mind the instent I saw the challenge. Basically, Harry becomes the Hood, but unlike Oliver, he literally has nothing holding him back, so hes probably more like the Dark Archer or Deathstroke. Ooo, imagen if Neville joined him and became Deathstroke…

Anyway, I'm done so please leave a review! See ya!
