My Sister Ziz

Harry was alone, apparently forgotten by his friends, and desperate. All he wanted was for someone, anyone to help him survive. Fortunately, someone was listening. Unfortunately, said person is a complete troll with a penchant for dropping people in alternate worlds. End result? Harry now has a sister with precognition and an axe to grind against anyone who'd hurt her big brother. I see no way this could go horribly wrong.

Well, its been awhile since I've done this. Of course, Dis is still a feature and up to no good, but thats fine. As you can probably guess, this idea is a slight crossover with Worm and is an answer to my own Little Sis challange, rules below:

Harry feels more alone than ever: with no friends to talk to, no family to care about him and no way of predicting what's coming next, he finds himself doing something only the dead, damned and desperate do: he prays. Unfortunately for him, his magic responds in a way that will really change everything about him, but for better or worse? That's the question.

RULES!

The story MUST start at a point where Harry feels alone, be it in-year or summer holidays

His 'prayer' for help MUST seem accidental, but when he prays, Harry's magic stirs in him

As a result, Harry finds a strange male/female figure whom addresses him as big brother.

Harrys new sibling must be rather powerful and immediately go to work making sure no one can hurt their big brother. Usually by taking permanent and painful measures.

Certain people must be wary of the newcomer and try to convince Harry to get rid of him/her. Needless to say, it doesn't go well.

Any morality and paring welcome.

SUGGESTIONS!

CROSSOVERS! I love em!

Super/OP-Harry

Creature Harry.

Somehow, the siblings powers start to bleed over into Harry.

At some point, someone tries to hurt Harrys sibling, resulting in him completely losing it and returning the favour.

The sibling having a brother complex. Cus thats always a ton of fun, so long as you ignore the ick factor.

Harrys sibling somehow manages to get Harry a harem.

While either a brother or sister is allowed, I personally would prefer a sister. Not sure why, I just like the idea of having a younger sister more than a brother. I blame my own brat of a brother for that.

It turns out that Harry is the incarnation of a divine being and his sibling is literally his sibling, not one created by magic.

Lily and James turn out to be alive, very powerful and Harrys apparently magically created sibling is actually very real.

FORBIDDEN!

Harry turning away/denying his sibling.

Weak Harry/sibling

Anyone convincing Harry to turn his sibling away.

Harry and his sibling joining Voldemort.

The sister in question? Ziz. This won't end well. Enjoy!

Chapter 1

12 year old Harry Potter was having a bad day. That was actually a pretty normal state of affairs when he was at home, but today was especially bad? Why? Well, today was his birthday, but instead of cake and presents, his 'Family' were completely ignoring it. Again, that was pretty normal, but Harry had been hoping that his friends from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry might have at least sent him a card. Then again, they hadn't sent him any other mail, so it wasn't a total shock.

"Was it really all a dream?" he thought miserably as he gazed into the hedge at the bottom of the garden.

He'd been kicked out of the house so he 'didn't get in his aunts way'. Cow. Still, thoughts about his bitch of an aunt were mostly ignored in favour of feeling sorry for himself. After everything he'd been through and promising to write, he hadn't heard even a single peep out of Ron or Hermione, the two friends he'd made in the last year. Harry was used to feeling alone thanks to his Cousin, but this apparent abandonment felt like a massive, gaping pit had opened in his chest. He'd had a taste of friendship, of not being alone and now that he was back in that same situation, he wasn't sure he could take it for much longer. He'd long since given up any thought of his 'family' ever treating him with anything but veiled disdain, but that didn't mean he'd stopped wishing for a family.

The loneliness was starting to get to him and the lack of messages wasn't helping. He couldn't help but wonder if maybe he'd imagined his friendships and if Ron and Hermione had just been using him. The dark thoughts were slowly starting to drive him barmy and the loneliness of being ignored by his family wasn't helping matters in the slightest. He needed someone, anyone, to talk to or he'd snap completely!

Harry groaned and dropped his head into his hands.

"Oh god, this is getting me nowhere!" he groaned, "I really, REALLY wish that I had someone to talk to!"

Fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately) for Harry, someone was listening. In some worlds, that someone would be Magic herself, or perhaps Death or one of the Gods who also happened to be related to Harry in some way. In this reality, the entity in question was a bored ROB who had just seen the perfect method with which to cause some chaos to disrupt its boredom. Grasping onto Harrys voiced wish and his subconscious one for a real family, the all powerful entity added a few strands of his own power and flung the resulting mass of energy powered by a wish into the multiverse. Three seconds later, it got a return ping and immedetally started cackling when it saw just what he had cooked ip. Humming a merry tune and occasionally cackling to himself, the ROB went to work on both Harry Potter and the entity who had wished for a way to escape her own bonds. This was going to be fun!

Harry grumbled darkly to himself as he tramped upstairs towards his bedroom. To add a crap cherry to the shit sundae that was his birthday, he was sent to his room with instructions to 'pretend he didn't exist' so the Dursleys could try and weasle a business deal out of some rich couple for Vernon's company. He was so distracted by his annoyance that he almost missed the extremely odd sound leaking through the closed door of his room until he was right outside the door. Humming.

Harry paused, his hand on the door handle as the sound reached his ears. It was beautiful, but he couldn't help the stab of fear and worry at the idea that someone was in his room, humming to themselves. After all, the only people in the house were himself and the Dursleys, none of whom could hold a tune in a bucket. He hesitated for a moment, mentally weighing his options, before he slowly opened the door.

What he saw inside made him freeze in surprise. Sitting on his bed with Hedwig perched on her lap being petted, was a girl. She looked about a year younger than him and was thin and petite, with snow white skin and hair that was even whiter than Dumbledores. As she moved, Harry could see that her visible skin was covered in thin, barely visible white lines that seemed to be making patterns, although he couldn't quite see what they were. She was wearing a thin, white dress that only served to highlight how small and delicate she was and no shoes. For some reason, Harry felt a strange wave of protectiveness when he looked at her, despite having no idea of who she was and where she had come from.

Harry frowned at the odd feeling and quickly shrugged it off in favour of examining the girl. She didn't look like much of a threat, hell, she was even smaller than him, but Quirral had taught him last year that looks could be deceiving, especially in the Magical World. Despite her appearance, she could easily be a monster worse than Voldemort (Harry briefly paused as he heard what sounded like someone laughing their ass off in the back of his head). That said, Hedwig seemed to trust the strange girl enough to let her pet her and she normally didn't let anyone other than Harry and occasionally Hermione do that. Plus, he couldn't stand out here all night and even if the girl did turn out to be a bad guy, he was fairly sure he could take her. (the odd laughter in his head turned into an outright evil cackle at that thought)

With that in mind, Harry took a deep breath and opened the door. The girl jumped at the sudden sound, sending an annoyed looking Hedwig fluttering away, and whipped around to look at him, revealing light gray eyes with a slight hint of green. For a moment, the two stared at each other, before the girl gave an awkward smile.

"Um...hi," she said with an equally awkward wave.

"Who are you?" asked Harry, "And how did you get in here? Are you a Witch?"

The girl shifted uncomfortably.

"Well, I'm not...entirely sure how I got here," she said, "All I know is that I appeared in your room with a few vague instructions and an impression that someone, somewhere was having a grand old time. As for being a Witch...I guess so? Sort of...enough that I'll be going to Hogwarts with you at least."

Harry blinked. Well, that was rather unexpected, not to mention unbelievable.

"You still havent told me who you are," he said.

"Well, I technically don't have a name, although the humans in my last world gave me a few," said the girl, "Lets see, there was Israfel, Ulama, Ziz and a few...less polite ones others, but most people just called me the Simurgh. I really need a more normal name though...For now you can call me Ziz"

Harry frowned.

"Wait, you said the 'Humans'?" he said, "Does that mean your not Human?"

"Not even remotely," said the girl, Ziz brightly, "Although I'm now closer than I've ever been. I'd tell you more, but then…"

She seemed to shrink in on herself.

"Then you might not like me," she mumbled.

Harry felt a surge of protectiveness well up inside him and he had to shove down the urge to give Ziz a big hug and reassure her. He had no idea where it came from, but it nearly physically hurt to see her looking so despondent.

"You still haven't told me why your here," he said, trying to get away from this topic before he did something stupid.

"Oh, thats easy," said Ziz, visibly brightening up, "I'm your new little sister!"

Harrys jaw dropped. Out of everything Ziz could have possibly said, that was at the very bottom of the list, right above her being a slave created by magic to serve him.

"WHAT?!"

OK, so its a bit short, but that'll do nonetheless. I know that most people would just use Magic for something like this, but I love the idea of ROBs randomly causing trouble in various dimensions because their bored. Oh, and for those who don't know, ROB stands for 'Random Omnipotent Being/Bastard'.

I'm not entirely sure how much of Ziz's power made the crossing with her, but she has all of the powers she used to have and the potential to regain the full power of an Endbringer. That said, her current body can't handle that much power, so shes somewhat limited as of now. Theres also the fact that some of her power will leak over to Harry, again limiting how much she'll have. Then again, considering what the Endbringers are capable of, thats really not going to limit them much.

Before I sign off, lets do a quick Omake of what happened on Earth Bet when Ziz vanished.

OMAKE

Dragon stared at the screen in complete and utter shock. Just a few seconds ago, the screen had shown the Simurgh in dormancy floating above the North Pole, but now it showed nothing but empty space. It wasn't even like she'd moved, rather it was if she'd vanished into thin air. However, the youngest Endbringer hadn't ever shown any indication of being able to teleport before, although Dragon wouldn't put it past the mind fucking bitch to have the ability and just hide it. The question was, where had she gone?

The AI quickly pulled herself together and started checking over all of the Endbringer tracking logs. Behemoth was nowhere to be seen and Leviathan was still wandering around down near Australia, so no changes there. However, no matter what satellite she commandeered or tracking protocol she ran, she couldn't find any sign of the Simurgh. It was more than a little worrying since she was due to attack next and if Dragon couldn't find her, they'd have no warning at all.

She was interrupted from her frantic search as her emergency line was pinged. Reluctantly, she turned her attention to the message and found herself once again surprised. Apparently, Eidolon had suddenly collapsed in the middle of a meeting and was currently unresponsive, despite there being apparently nothing wrong. Dragon gave her equivalent of a frown. The Simurgh vanished and Eidolon collapsing at the same time? That couldn't be a coincidence. Just what was she planning now?

That'll do. If I continue this, I'll probably keep doing Omakes that take peaks into the Worm verse now that Ziz has vanished. Just to be awkward, in the Worm timeline, the next attack would have been the one on Madison, which will basically result in the entirety of Canon taking a flying leap.

Now its time for me to sign off. Don't forget to leave a review!
