Cap 2: The first steps
At night in a parking lot, a thief uses a crowbar to open a car and steal it.
When he manages to open the car and tries to start it, he does not notice that there is someone else inside it.
"Ahem… ahem… Hey man, if you going to steal cars, don't dress like a car thief in the future." Spider-Man said surprising the car thief.
"Who are you? A cop?" the frightened thief asked.
"Really? Do you think I'm a cop? A cop in a red and black suit?" the hero asked sarcastically.
The next second Spider-Man shoots his web in the thief's face.
"Know? You have the mind of a scholar, I would have thought of ice skaters." Spider-Man said mocking the thief.
Frightened, the thief opens the car window and tries to get out through it.
"That's it, that's it, use the window, go through the window, ok, you're out." Spider-Man said as he continued to mock the thief.
The thief was even more scared when he saw that the hero was no longer inside the car.
"Be careful fool" Spider-Man said just before kicking the thief.
"I'm warning you, don't come near me." the thief said as he threatened Spider-Man with a knife.
"Is it a knife? Is it real? Oh no, it's my only weakness! No knife! Everything but that!" Spider-Man said feigning weakness.
Immediately Spider-Man shot his web at the thief's hand, trapping him in the wall.
"What is this thing!?" the thief asked in panic.
"It's a special thread that a friend of mine invented, you should know her, she's a great woman." the hero responded before shooting web into his other hand.
Immediately afterwards, Spider-Man wrapped him in web and left there.
Just as he was leaving the place, a police patrol arrived.
"You are welcome!" Spider-Man told the police officers.
"This time you're not going to escape us, little spider. Arrest him!" the one who seemed to be the patrol leader said.
At that moment a large number of police cars appeared and began to chase Spider-Man.
"Come on guys, I helped you catch a bad guy and that's how they pay me?" Spider-Man said complaining.
"You're going down Spider-Man." the lead police officer said.
"Maybe I will down, but not today." Spider-Man said before using his web to reach the train that was about to arrive and climb on to its roof.
"We'll meet again, you stuck-up brat, but the result will be very different." the lead police said as he got out of his patrol car to see Spider-Man, revealing his appearance.
He was a tall man with long silver hair, his hair was pointed and in the front of his face there was a braid that was in the middle of his eyes.
This man's name is Nozel Silva and he is the captain of the police.
"I don't know who or what you are, Spider-Man, but I won't let you go free." Nozel said as he watched Asta leave.
"God, that guy was a pain, I hope I don't have to see him for a long time." Asta said to himself before taking off his suit and putting on his normal clothes.
Already at home, Asta returned in time before Licita and Liebe noticed that he was not there and greeted them very casually.
"Hello mother, hello big brother, does either of you need anything?" the hero asked as casually as he could.
"Hey, Asta, have you heard about that guy in costume the last few weeks?" Liebe asked his brother.
"What guy in costume? I haven't heard anything about a guy in a costume." Asta said, pretending not to know who Liebe was talking about (although he was still very bad at lying).
"You know, that guy in red: Spider-Man." Liebe said.
"Oh Spider-Man, sure, I think Noelle told me about him the other day." Asta said.
"Mom and I saw him the other day before you got home and he saved a man from falling off a roof." Liebe said to Asta.
"Really!? That must have been great!" Asta said excitedly.
"Oh man, I never thought about what to do if Mom and Liebe saw me as Spider-Man." Asta thought in panic.
"Yeah that was pretty cool, you should have seen it." Liebe said.
"Asta, Liebe Could you both help me with dinner?" Licita asked.
"Sure mom, we're going to help you." the two brothers said at the same time.
While they were eating dinner the three of them started talking about Spider-Man.
"Ahh... mom, what do you think of that Spider-Man guy? Liebe told me that they saw it." Asta asked very casually.
Being honest with himself, Asta was afraid of what his family thought of Spider-Man since well you know... HE was Spider-Man.
"Oh, are you talking about the boy dressed in red and black who helped that man on the roof? Well... he seems a little strange to me, but he seems like a good guy." Licita said.
"Plus that guy has been doing good things to people for the last month." Liebe said.
"It sounds like he's doing a good job, several of my friends have told me about him." Asta said.
"It seems the same to me." Licita and Liebe said at the same time.
"Well, at least it seems like they don't think Spider-Man is a bad guy that was already a victory." Asta thought to himself.
The next day in the classroom Noelle was looking at the window with a bored expression, after a few seconds she turned her head to see that her best friend Asta who was always a very active guy seemed to be half asleep.
It had been a month since Asta made his debut as Spider-Man, but despite this he still couldn't get used to the superhero schedules and always ended up tired.
"Hey, Asta, did you sleep well last night? You don't look very good." Noelle asked worriedly.
"Yes, don't worry, I'm... pretty good." Asta said.
Unbeknownst to the friends, Fu ha (AKA Sekke) was glaring at them.
"Staria and Silva humiliate me all the time, now it's their turn to be humiliated." Sekke said as he prepared to throw something at them: a paint balloon.
Asta sensed danger approaching, quickly removed Noelle from the way and dodged the balloon with great ease.
Unfortunately for Sekke, the class teacher was not as lucky.
"Fu ha did it." Noelle said immediately while pointing at Sekke.
After class Asta and Noelle were walking on the street.
"Hey, that was great earlier, thanks Asta." Noelle said.
"Don't thank me, thank my great agility, my friend." Asta said smiling satisfied.
"And to my pang that detects danger." Asta thought.
In that moment of pure chance, Asta caught sight of Nero and... He stopped completely.
For some reason that Asta didn't know, Nero... she looked more beautiful than usual, every inch of her beautiful being delighted his eyes, her hair looked incredible while she danced, her face was the representation of perfection, her beautiful red eyes they hypnotized him, her waist, her hips, her bust, her legs, her neck, her lips, even her smell, seduced him more and more.
And Asta, well... he just blushed and started drooling without him knowing it.
"Asta? Asta? Hey, Asta, react!" Noelle shouted as she shook Asta.
"Ahhhh! Ahhhhh! What happened!? Where did I go!?" Asta asked frantically and in panic as he reacted.
"You looked like an idiot for a minute while mumbling things." Noelle said.
In case you're wondering, Nero had almost the same reaction as Asta when he saw him, only she reacted a few seconds before him.
"Don't worry, it's just something weird that happened to me." Asta said embarrassed.
"Well? Just don't look like an idiot again, it was very awkward." Noelle said.
"Done deal." Asta said immediately.
"Anyway, have you seen Spider-Man lately?" Noelle asked.
"Are you also going to ask me about him? What's so amazing about this Spider-Man guy? Everyone's talking about him lately." Asta asked.
"Well... he literally presents himself as 'The Amazing Spider-Man' all the time." Noelle responded.
"Right… I forgot I always do that." Asta said mentally when he saw the great stupidity he did.
"Also during the last month he has been doing good things for people, he has arrested thieves, rescued people, he even saved me from some muggers once." Noelle said excitedly.
"It sounds like you're a Spider-Man fan." Asta said.
"Pff... Of course I'm not a Spider-Man fan, but I do think he's pretty cool." Noelle said trying to pretend not to be a Spider-Man fan.
"Well, I'm flattered to know that Noelle is my fan." Asta thought very happily.
"Although the police apparently don't like his actions, just last night there were many police officers who wanted to arrest him." Noelle said to Asta making him worry.
"I assume Noelle is referring to that creep who chased me last night." Asta thought to himself.
"I thought everyone liked the idea of a superhero protecting the city." Asta said a little unsure.
"Apparently the police don't like that, it's quite disappointing." Noelle said disappointed.
"Well, at least I feel protected with a superhero around these parts." Asta said.
"I also feel safe, it's good to know that heroes can exist." Noelle said.
"I wonder… how many people think of Spider-Man as a hero?" Asta thought.
After saying goodbye to Noelle, Asta went to the nearest alley to put on his suit and began swinging around the city looking for crimes to stop and people to help.
"Alright criminals, prepare to be arrested." Asta said, already wearing his Spider-Man suit.
Then at that moment Asta heard an explosion near him.
The hero looked at the streets and noticed a man with long dark hair with a scar attacking some people.
"Now you bunch of idiots, give me all your valuables right this second and I'll consider leaving you alive." the evil man said, smiling evilly.
The man took out a bunch of chains from his clothes and began to spin them to threaten the people.
"Unless you want me to kill you all slowly, you better start obeying me." the man threatened everyone present.
At that moment Asta shot his web in the villain's face and appeared as Spider-Man.
"Hey, you fool with the scar, don't you have something better to do than bother innocent people?" Spider-Man said to the evil man.
"And who the hell do you think you are, stupid boy?" the man said.
"You do not know who I am? Well, allow me to introduce myself: I am the Amazing Spider-Man." Spider-Man said.
"Damn, Noelle was right about my presentation." Asta thought embarrassed.
"You? A dumb, weak kid is this Spider-Man that everyone is talking about? Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!" the man asked as he mocked Spider-Man.
"Hey, at least people talk about me unlike you, by the way, who are you? With what name do I address you?" Spider-Man said.
"I am Revchi Salik, call me: Stylus Steel." Revchi said introducing himself.
"That villain name is so stupid I'll just call you Revy." Spider-Man said, making Revchi angry.
"And soon I will call you: The crushed spider!" Revchi said attacking Spider-Man with his chains.
Spider-Man dodges the chains with great ease and throws his web at Revchi in the face, blinding him and then takes the opportunity to hit him.
Revchi then uses the sharp part of his chains to remove the web from his face and the first thing he saw was Spider-Man about to hit him again.
"Is that the best name you could think of for me? I think I'll stick with Spider-Man." Spider-Man said mocking the villain.
"Shut up you fucking brat!" Revchi said before attacking Spider-Man again with his chains.
Spider-Man dodged the chains again and approached Revchi to hit him again, Revchi managed to dodge the attack and tried to hit Spider-Man but he managed to dodge it, then he jumped and kicked him in the face.
"Come on Revy, aren't you supposed to be a supervillain? Try to entertain me a little before I turn you over to the police." Spider-Man said mocking Revchi again.
"As soon as I catch you off guard I will kill you in the most brutal way possible." Revchi said very angry and trying to kill the hero.
Spider-Man smiled under his mask and quickly attacked Revchi and began to hit him several times, after leaving him weakened enough he wrapped him in his web.
"Congratulations kid, you are now on my list of people to kill." Revchi said to Spider-Man with a hateful tone.
"Thank you, I'm flattered, but now... Sleep while the police arrive for you." the hero said before headbutting Revchi to knock him out.
Spider-Man looked around and saw that there weren't that many wrecks, but there were several injured people.
"If anyone can call the paramedics, do so, there are people who need help. Is there anyone seriously injured?" the hero asked.
"This girl is very hurt due to the explosion, she looks very weak." a man said, holding a girl.
Spider-Man saw the girl, she seemed to be his age, and she had orange hair and had quite elegant clothes.
"Well, I'll take her to the hospital myself, the rest of you call the paramedics and make sure everyone is taken care of here." Spider-Man said as he took the girl to the hospital.
"Thank you very much Spider-Man!" a man said as he watched Spider-Man leave.
"That guy is very kind." another man said, feeling admiration for the hero.
"Very well, I hope the police don't have any problems when they pick up Revy, it was harder than it seemed, I think one of her attacks did manage to hit me, anyway my priority is to leave this girl at the hospital." Asta thought to himself as he headed to the hospital.
While Spider-Man was swinging with his web towards the hospital, the girl regained consciousness.
The first thing the girl saw when she woke up was the hero holding her while they both swung.
"Are you all right, miss? I'm glad to see you're finally awake." Spider-Man said to the girl.
"What… happened to me? Who are… you?" the girl asked, quite disoriented.
"I'm Spider-Man. What's your name?" the hero asked the girl.
"I am Mimosa, Mimosa Vermillion." Mimosa said introducing herself.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Mimosa, you are injured due to a madman's attack but don't worry, I'm taking you to the hospital." Spider-Man said explaining the situation.
"So, Spider-Man does exist, thank you very much for helping me, that's very kind of you." Mimosa said while smiling blushing.
"There's no need to thank, it's the job of a superhero." Spider-Man said.
"I hope that evil man has already been arrested." Mimosa said.
"Don't worry, I beat up that asshole, he won't bother you anymore." Spider-Man said.
"You are a very brave person, I am very grateful for everything you do." Mimosa said quite blushing and hugging the hero very tightly.
After a while Spider-Man managed to get Mimosa to the hospital and left her in charge of the doctors.
The doctor was quite tall, his hair was black and long and tied in a ponytail, he had light blue eyes and looked quite friendly.
"She took a lot of damage from the explosion, but she'll be fine, you did the right thing by bringing her here." the doctor said to Spider-Man.
"It wasn't a problem, but I have to go see if there isn't any other situation, I'll leave her in your hands. Doctor Faust?" Spider-Man said as he saw the doctor's name on his badge.
"You can call me Nacht and don't worry, I'll take care of her." Nacht said to Spider-Man smiling.
"Thanks doc Nacht, if you'll excuse me I'll be leaving." Spider-Man said before jumping out the window and swinging away.
"Hmm… The world needs more guys like him." Nacht said as he watched Spider-Man leave.
After a few minutes Spider-Man returns to the scene of his fight against Revchi to make sure there are no more injuries.
"It seems that everyone else is already at the hospital and it also seems that the police have already taken Revy, I think everything is fine now." Asta thought to himself in relief.
Seeing that it was getting late, Asta decided to go home.
After getting home, taking off his suit and putting on his usual clothes again, Asta enters the house.
"Mom, brother, I'm here." Asta said.
"Oh hello Asta, what happened to you? You look tired." Licita said when she saw Asta.
"Don't worry, I'm fine, I just had to go to the hospital to see a friend of mine." Asta said (leaving out the details of his fight with Revchi).
"Noelle is fine? Nothing happened to her?" Licita asked worried.
"No! Emm… I wasn't referring to her, I was referring to another friend." Asta said quickly.
"Another friend? What's her name?" Licita asked.
"Emm… Mimosa, her name is Mimosa." Asta said.
"Like the girl who is on TV right now?" Liebe asked.
"Dang, I wasn't expecting that." Asta thought to himself nervously.
"We are informed that the mysterious local superhero known as Spider-Man saved several people from a rather dangerous attacker downtown, some of the victims claim to have seen him taking a young girl after their fight and apparently dropped her off at the hospital to have her injuries treated." the newscast said.
On TV you could see Mimosa lying in the hospital bed.
"I was walking down the street until that man blew up a nearby building and I was unconscious, the next thing I saw was Spider-Man holding me in his arms and taking me to the hospital, without him I don't know what would have happened to me, if you are listening to this Spider-Man I am very grateful and I hope you keep helping people as you have done so far." Mimosa said in blushing.
"Wow, I feel flattered right now, it's good to know that I was able to help someone." Asta thought happily.
"Well well well, sonny, you didn't tell me you were friends with such a pretty girl." Licita said playfully to tease her son.
"M-Mom! It's not what you think, she and I are not that close, I just worried about her and went to see her." Asta said quickly to avoid misunderstandings.
Yet Licita was still smiling playfully.
"Hey Asta, did you happen to see Spider-Man on your way to the hospital to see that girl?" Liebe asked his younger brother.
"I saw him on the way to the hospital, but I didn't know he was the one who took Mimosa to the hospital." Asta said.
"Well, it's a good thing he was able to help your friend, you have nothing to worry about Asta." Licita said.
"Yeah, well, good thing the Amazing Spider-Man saved Mimosa, yeah." Asta said.
"Why does he keep repeating that he's 'The Amazing Spider-Man'? People will start to think he's arrogant if he keeps saying it." Licita said.
"Who knows mom, maybe it's his trademark but you're right, it's getting very repetitive that he always uses that phrase." Liebe said.
"Mental note: stop introducing myself as the Amazing Spider-Man all the time, I'll have to think of something else besides that." Asta thought to himself as his mother and brother left the room.
While his mother and brother did not see him, Asta took the opportunity to make more red threads of fate (also known as spider web substance) with the instructions that Vanessa gave him in writing, fortunately for him, the thread was quite cheap to make and was quite effective, a thin red thread that was incredibly resistant and when it made impact with any surface it released a very sticky substance that was very difficult to remove, the only flaw was that it only lasted an hour before dissolving, in his short time with the Spider-Man mantle it has been very useful to Asta.
After half an hour of making his web liquid, Asta stored it in small cartridges for recharging and put them in his backpack as well as his suit, ready in case he had to do Spider-Man work.
"Okay, now I'll have to pull Mimosa close while I'm Asta so Mom and Liebe don't think I lied to them and suspect I'm Spider-Man, being a superhero is serious hard." Asta said to himself with a tired tone in his voice.
Our hero didn't know was that his problems were just beginning.
Meanwhile in the laboratory of the Zogratis brothers that same night, Dante, Vanica and Zenon were experimenting with more life forms with the effects of the ZT formula, which were not leaving them satisfied.
"Damn it! None of these stupid and disgusting animals survive a dose of the ZT formula, only the spiders have survived but none of them give us positive results, at this rate Lucius will not let us experiment with humans." Dante said in frustration and anger.
"Add to this that the spider 00 is still missing and we don't know where it could be and also add to this that the Grinberrayall child is not showing any improvement with any of our treatments, this situation is not favorable at all." Vanica said resigned and bored.
"We can't give up yet, our big brother is counting on us, there must be something we can do." Zenon said.
"I have an idea, let's experiment with humans for once, if we are lucky the tests will be successful, we can make Lucius' dream army and he won't bother us anymore, plus we can prove that we are superior to humans." Dante said.
"That would be a good idea Dante, but there's a problem: where will we get people to experiment on without Lucius finding out? I don't think we can kidnap the first person we see on the street." Vanica said.
"What if we are not the ones kidnapping people? We could hire someone to do it for us, we could take some of the patients from the hospital." Zenon said.
"So it's case closed, if Lucius asks, we did it to improve the formula, now it only remains to see who will do the dirty work for us." Dante said.
"I think I know someone who can do it for us." Vanica said with an evil smile.
The next day Asta was walking through the streets towards the hospital when out of nowhere Julius appeared to greet him, so Asta started to walk faster.
"Hey, Staria, how have you been?" Julius asked Asta.
"I don't want to get involved with you, old man, the last time I saw him I almost died from a spider bite." Asta said.
"I know we didn't end up in the best of circumstances, but I want you to know that I'm going to offer you to work as my lab assistant." Julius said.
"I'm sorry but I refuse that offer, I don't want you to use me for experimentation or anything like that." Asta said.
"Come on young man, I think we can come to an agreement..." Julius said before being interrupted.
A huge ice stalagmite came out of nowhere and almost killed Asta and Julius, Asta took advantage of the distraction to get out of there and quickly changed into his suit.
"All right, who's the troublemaker around here? I'd better get you ready." Spider-Man said.
Just then Spider-Man felt a pinch and quickly dodged another large pile of ice that was heading towards him.
"You took three seconds of my precious time by dodging my attack, you brat, you'd better prepare to die." a thin elderly man with a huge scar on his forehead said, who looked at the hero with contempt.
"And you, old idiot, almost made me lose my head." Spider-Man said.
"Don't worry you damn insect kid, I'm going to finish the job." the man said before attacking Spider-Man again.
The old man raised his hand pointing at Spider-Man and from it came out a huge pile of ice which he threw at the hero.
Spider-Man tried to dodge the ice, but it was too big and too fast so the attack managed to hit him.
The old man took advantage of the fact that Spider-Man was under the ice to go to the hospital to take some patients to the Zogratis brothers, while he was walking he saw his watch to confirm his time, even though he lost some seconds with Spider-Man he was still in time to accomplish his mission.
But at that moment, the old man felt something sticky on the back of his neck and quickly felt something pulling him back with great force, it was Spider-Man who had shot his web to get him away from the hospital, Spider-Man pulled his head with his web with great force causing the old man to crash to the ground.
"Hey! Idiot! I think you forgot you were fighting me." Spider-Man said to the old man as he stood up.
"Damn, I should have asked for this suit to be thermal, I'm freezing." Asta thought to himself.
"You must be the self-proclaimed local hero known as Spider-Man, I should not underestimate you." the old man said as he looked at the hero with even more contempt.
"That's right, I'm Spider-Man, but I have no idea who you are." Spider-Man said.
"My name is Heath Grice, but because of my ice armament my clients call me Blizzard." Heath said introducing himself.
"Blizzard huh? I would have called you frosty or something." Spider-Man said as he threw his webbing around Heath to propel himself and hurl himself at him with all his might.
Heath quickly dodged the attack and tried to hit Spider-Man with his ice but he dodged it and shot webbing back into his eyes in an attempt to blind him.
Heath uses his ice to freeze and break the hero's webs and manages to hit him in the face but Spider-Man quickly counters by kicking him in the face, both continue in their melee until Heath throws ice in Spider-Man's eyes blinding him for a few seconds enough to hit him again.
Before Heath manages to hit him, Spider-Man feels a sting and detects where the blow is coming from in time to dodge it, then manages to remove the ice from his eyes to quickly tie Heath's hands with his webbing and hit him in the chin, sending him flying across the street.
Despite the blow Heath recovers quickly and starts throwing tons of sharp ice at Spider-Man who manages to dodges most of it while some pieces manage to tear him, after getting close enough Spider-Man tries to hit Heath again, but he manages to dodge it and immediately freezes him.
"You have already taken up too much of my time, now die and let me complete my work." Heath said before making a big ice fist and using it to hit the hero.
After believing he had defeated Spider-Man, Heath walked back to the hospital and once again looked at his watch to see how much time his fight against him had taken, he saw that it took him 10 minutes and thought that Spider-Man was really tough if he could take that amount of time.
To Heath's surprise, Spider-Man again shot his web at him, now being shot towards his feet, Spider-Man again pulled his web with great force causing Heath to fall to the ground.
"I don't know what you want to do with the people in that hospital, but I do know that you are going to hurt them and I will not allow it, because they and the rest of the city are under my care!" Spider-Man said with a lot of determination in his words.
Spider-Man took advantage of this and quickly fired all the webbing available in his cartridges at Heath, leaving him completely immobilized.
Spider-Man saw some bracelets on Heath's wrists and deduced that that's where he got the ice he was attacking with, so he immediately destroyed them and finished tying him up with his web.
"How was this possible? Who or what are you?" Heath asked, confused by his defeat by Spider-Man.
"I am Spider-Man and I protect this city from guys like you." the hero said as he left the place.
The hero quickly left the place before anyone saw him and took off his suit to put on his usual clothes, so he took the opportunity to call the police to take Heath away.
"Hello, police? I'm Asta Staria and I just saw Spider-Man fighting a criminal, can you come and take care of him?" Asta said.
After calling the police, Asta went to Mimosa's room to check on her.
When Asta opened the door, the first thing he saw was Mimosa lying in her hospital bed, who looked at him in confusion since she did not know him.
"Oh sorry, who are you? I don't know you." Mimosa asked to Asta.
"I know, you don't know me, but I know you, I'm Asta Staria and... I'd like to tell you a few things." the hero replied respectfully.
Unbeknownst to Asta, the Zogratis brothers were having their own concerns regarding Heath's failure.
"This is so bad, Blizzard has been arrested, we have no one to test the formula on and Lucius is definitely going to find out that we disobeyed him, what are we supposed to do?" Dante said very displeased.
"Who was able to defeat Blizzard? He was supposed to be a highly experienced mercenary; I don't think the police would have been able to defeat him." Zenon said in confusion.
"I put a hidden camera in his clothes before he left in case something unforeseen happened, the footage should help us know why he failed." Vanica said as she put on the recording.
The three brothers were shocked to see the fight between Heath and Spider-Man and were shocked to see his power.
"Vanica, Zenon, I think I know where the spider 00 containing the ZT formula ended up." Dante said as he smiled wickedly and excitedly at the same time.
"He must have gotten the formula and somehow thanks to the modified genes of the spider and the properties of the formula he obtained superhuman powers with which he defeated Blizzar, incredible." Vanica said, quite excited and amazed by what she was seeing.
"If he could defeat an expert mercenary, imagine what we could do with that power." Zenon said in disbelief at what he saw.
At that moment the three brothers noticed that Lucius had arrived, but he didn't look upset, rather he looked pleased and confident.
"Fascinating, this is what I was looking for, with such an extraordinary power like that the Paladin project will be a complete success, we will have the necessary army to bring true peace to this world, we will only have to catch that boy and discover the origin of his powers to replicate them." Lucius said smiling with assurance and confidence.
The Zogratis family was about to put their plans into action.
While all this was going on, Asta was returning home, but not before stopping by the cemetery to see his old friend Yuno.
"Hey dude, it's been a while since... you left, I'm sure you heard that I'm a superhero now, you'd love to see what I'm capable of now, anyway for now everything is going great, I've met a pretty nice girl and I think you and her would get along pretty well, I miss you… and thanks again for saving my mom, I'll try to be a hero that is on your level, take care Yuno and I hope you're having a good time in the afterlife." Asta said to Yuno's grave.
Asta still felt guilt over Yuno's death, but it no longer affected him as much as the first few days, he still held high his oath to Yuno to help people with his powers and hoped that his friend could be proud of him while he was in the afterlife.
After arriving home Asta saw his wounds from his fight against Heath, some were not serious, but others were quite large and noticeable, fortunately thanks to his powers his wounds healed somewhat faster and his clothes hid them.
"I guess I'm not going to come out unscathed all the time, it doesn't matter, I'll just have to get stronger and I won't have these problems again when I fight criminals and save people." said the hero as he went to sleep to be ready for tomorrow.
Unfortunately for Asta Staria, his problems were only going to get worse and he would not be ready for what lay ahead.
While Asta slept, Lucius had gathered a large number of thugs, criminals, mercenaries and any other kind of person who was willing to kill for a good pay, and of course he was going to pay well enough to the one who managed to capture Spider-Man.
"I have gathered you here because you are all the worst criminals in the city, the perfect candidates to lure this young hero I need for the greater good, something that will benefit all mankind, but this boy will not give up easily and if he knew my intentions he would definitely not collaborate with me, so I ask you to bring him to me by any means possible and no matter the cost." Lucius said.
The criminals only listened to Lucius' words as they were confident of their victory over Spider-Man.
"Whoever brings us that masked man will receive a huge reward and a place in history as the one who helped the Zogratis family bring true peace to this world." Lucius said to all the criminals who shouted victoriously and determined to defeat Spider-Man.
Lucius Zogratis was totally and utterly determined to catch the amazing Spider-Man at any cost in order to fulfill his purpose of bringing peace to all mankind, no matter what the cost in lives.

On the outskirts of the city you can see a huge group of people dressed in white hoods with a golden symbol that looked like an eye.
"This city and all its inhabitants will pay for their crimes and I will be the one to make sure of that." a man with a darkened sclera said.
Sooner rather than later, Asta Staria would be tested by fate to see if he was worthy to carry the mantle of Spider-Man.
