It was dark, so dark. The lights would flicker every so often but even then he couldn't get a good idea of his surroundings, always dizzy and disorientated on the brink of being sick as the world span round and round, 𝐮𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫 faces would appear briefly. With a jolt, he'd wake up, drenched in cold sweat, the lingering remnants of the nightmare haunting him.

He sighed, sitting up in his bed, gritting his teeth. "Why won't it go away… it's just a stupid nightmare," he muttered, his frustration evident. Standing up, he decided to take a shower, letting the cold water wash away his unease. As he stood there, he couldn't help but think of Toro.

"Hey, Midoriya, you seem a little off this morning," came a voice, gentle and calming, resonating within his mind. Midoriya blinked, feeling a wave of surprise. It was Toro.

Startled, Midoriya nearly slipped in the shower. He steadied himself, gripping the faucet tightly. "Toro? Can you… can you hear me?" he said confused, uncertain if he was simply imagining this whole conversation.

"Yep, it's me Toro replied with a hint of amusement."how did he - oh yeah he had slept over I must of forgot " mentally facepalming himself. "So, how's your morning going Midoriya" he said with a smile leaning outside the door.

Midoriya couldn't help but chuckle, grateful for the distraction. "Well, aside from nearly falling in the shower just now, I'm doing okay. How about you? How's your morning been?" He sighed.

Toro's voice in his mind brought a sense of comfort to Midoriya. He wasn't alone, lately he never seemed to be alone but it was fine. "My morning has been pretty good, just a regular day so far," Toro replied. "But hey, since you're feeling a bit off, how about we meet up after school? We could grab some lunch or something."

Midoriya's heart skipped a beat. The idea of meeting up with Toro outside of school made him feel strangely excited. "Yeah, that sounds great," he replied, a smile forming on his face despite the weird circumstances. "I could use a break from all this nightmare nonsense."

Toro's chuckle echoed in his mind. "Awesome! It's a plan then. Oh, and by the way, I heard there's a new cafe that just opened near the park. Maybe we could check it out?"

Midoriya felt a rush of anticipation. He hadn't realized how much he had missed spending time with Toro until now. "Sure, that sounds perfect. Thanks, Toro."

The more they talked, the less he thought about the haunting nightmares that had been plaguing him.

After a while, Midoriya reluctantly got out of the shower, wrapping a towel around himself. He glanced at the mirror and gave himself a determined nod. Maybe today wouldn't be so bad after all. With Toro's voice still lingering in his mind, he got dressed and headed to school with a renewed sense of energy.

Throughout the day, Midoriya found himself looking forward to hanging out with Toro after school. The idea of spending time with his friend lifted his spirits, and for the first time in a while, he felt a sense of normalcy. The nightmares and the darkness that had been weighing him down seemed to fade into the background, replaced by the warmth of his connection with Toro.

The school day seemed to drag out a lot, he had planned on telling sensei about the nightmare that repeated in his mind, but he wasn't around today.with weapon and quirk training being the main focus of there lessons he was pretty tired out.

"I think I definitely overused my 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐤 hah" Toro laughed as he slid down against the wall midoriya joining him, he smiled.

" yeah I'm pretty tired out, I don't think I'll make it to that café " midoriya joked." I'll be sparing with Kirishima next then".

He began walking towards the designated sparing area, when a shadow figure appeared in front of him, stepping back and falling with a jolt of pain shooting through him.And the figure was gone.

" hey midoriya are you good man" Kirishima and Toro stood next to him helping him up."

" yeah sorry I just….nothing" biting his lip, 'if I told them they wouldn't want to be with a crazy person seriously.' Wincing he got up and waved off everyone's concerns, forcing a smile and continuing to spar. Unease Lingering in his mind.

As the day went on, Midoriya found a moment of peace walking through some empty hallways, the echoes of his footsteps comforting him. He was lost in thought, contemplating the recent turn of events. The rumors of a special assembly for the hero course had piqued his curiosity, and he couldn't help but wonder what it could be about.

Next class was more about co-operation and working together in the form of tag, 2 seekers and 5 hiders, the seekers have to work together to find and 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 the others within a certain time frame, after you would go to the 'out box'. He watched as Jiro and Denki scouted the forest taking a more subtle approach, overall coming in last place in terms of time.

Sero and Mineta got paired together using their quirks to create booby traps was pretty clever ( midoriya ofcourse was jotting things down in his notebook watching)

Yaoyurozu and Shouji got paired up next, Shouji using his arms to scout then Yaoyurozu intercepting them.

Todoroki and Toro were faster, spotting people pretty quick, they came in first place.

It was Midoriya's turn to participate in the tag exercise, and he found himself paired up with Iida. They exchanged a determined look, ready to tackle the challenge ahead. As the countdown began, Midoriya felt a surge of adrenaline, his focus narrowing on the task at hand.

Iida's incredible speed was a valuable asset, and Midoriya quickly devised a plan to maximize their chances of success. They decided to split up temporarily, with Iida using his speed to scout the area and relay information back to Midoriya.

Midoriya's analytical mind was in full gear as he watched Iida dart through the forest. He took notes on Iida's path and the areas he covered, calculating the most likely locations of their classmates. As Iida communicated through hand signals, Midoriya adjusted their strategy in real time. It was what Sensei had him working on.

The forest was a labyrinth of trees and foliage, and Midoriya's heart raced with anticipation as he carefully navigated through the underbrush. He knew that timing and coordination were crucial, and he trusted Iida's judgment as they worked together.

After what felt like an intense game of cat and mouse, Iida signaled that he had spotted two of their classmates hiding near the edge of the forest Kirishima and Tsu. Midoriya's heart pounded as he followed Iida's lead, using the element of surprise to corner their targets.

With a well-timed maneuver, Midoriya and Iida managed to tag/𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 their classmates, securing their first successful capture. The satisfaction of working together and executing their plan filled Midoriya with a sense of accomplishment.

As they made their way back to the "out box," Midoriya and Iida exchanged a triumphant look, but it wasn't over yet three more targets remained as the time was quickly running out. Mina,Uruaka, Sero we're still out there. Using the same strategy with more confidence they surprised them and took them out one by one.

With the exercise coming to an end, Midoriya's unease from earlier seemed to momentarily fade away. The sense of accomplishment and the camaraderie he felt with his classmates brought a much-needed respite from the darkness that had been haunting his thoughts.

As they regrouped with the rest of the class, Midoriya couldn't help but notice the excitement and energy that filled the air. The tag exercise had been a success, and it was clear that everyone was eager to share their experiences and strategies.

Sensei addressed the class, commending their efforts and highlighting the importance of teamwork in emphasising on having a good leader would bring victory and no one will stand in your way giving a glance to midoriya.

Unfortunately he couldn't catch up to Sensei after the lesson, but it was fine, mostly, there was a cold feeling of being watched but only for brief moment. Everything was 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞.

During his lunch break, Midoriya sat with his classmates in the cafeteria, their lively chatter creating a warm atmosphere. Alas it was back he couldn't shake off the feeling of unease from earlier, but being surrounded by his friends helped distract him from it. He glanced at Toro, who was engaged in an animated conversation with Uraraka.

Toro caught Midoriya's gaze and winked, eliciting a small smile from him. It was moments like these that reminded Midoriya of the bond they shared, even in this dream world. He was grateful for Toro's presence, a constant source of support and friendship.

The afternoon classes seemed to pass by more slowly now, each minute dragging on as Midoriya eagerly anticipated the end of the school day. The assembly loomed in the back of his mind, filling him with a mix of curiosity and apprehension.

He would ask sensei about it when he saw him, though some things still didn't sit right, like something felt empty inside him that was growing more and more consuming him, parts felt like they were dying but it was all at the back of his mind, he just had to look forward, if he ignored it long enough maybe it would leave….

Finally, the last bell rang, signalling the end of classes. Midoriya packed his belongings and said some short goodbyes with everyone then met up with Toro by the school gates. "Ready for that lunch?" Toro asked with a grin on his face 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞.

Midoriya felt a genuine smile spread across his face as he walked over to his friend. "Definitely, Toro. Let's go check out that new cafe!"

With a spring in their steps, Midoriya and Toro set off towards the park, where the new cafe awaited their visit. As they walked side by side, Midoriya found himself engaged in easy conversation with Toro. They talked about everything and nothing, laughing and sharing stories as if the weight of the world had been lifted from Midoriya's shoulders.

The park was bathed in the soft hues of the setting sun, casting a warm and inviting glow over the surroundings. They arrived at the cafe, a charming little establishment with an outdoor seating area overlooking a tranquil pond. The sound of chirping birds and the gentle rustling of leaves added to the serene ambiance.

They chose a cozy table by the pond, and a friendly waiter brought over menus. Midoriya's excitement grew as he scanned the menu, intrigued by the array of delectable options. Toro leaned in, a mischievous glint in his eye. "You know, Midoriya, I heard their specialty is a dessert that's out of this world. Maybe we should save some room for that?"

Midoriya chuckled and nodded in agreement. "Sounds like a plan, Let's try a bit of everything and definitely save room for that dessert."

As they waited for their food, Midoriya's gaze wandered across the pond, lost in thought for a moment. The worries that had been plaguing him earlier seemed to fade into the background. He turned his attention back to Toro, feeling a sense of gratitude for his friend's unwavering support.

Their meal arrived, a delightful assortment of dishes that tantalized their taste buds. They savored each bite, the flavors dancing on their tongues. Midoriya couldn't help but notice how Toro's presence had a way of brightening even the simplest moments, turning them into something special.

After their satisfying meal, the waiter presented them with the much-anticipated dessert. It was a work of art, a masterpiece of flavors and textures that left Midoriya speechless. He shared a delighted glance with Toro before they both dug in, savoring every heavenly bite.

As the sun dipped below the horizon and the stars began to twinkle in the evening sky, Midoriya leaned back in his chair, a contented smile on his face. He felt a sense of peace that had eluded him for a while. The unease that had been lingering in the depths of his mind seemed to have taken a backseat, overshadowed by the joy of the present moment.

Toro leaned in, his voice soft and sincere. "Midoriya, I'm really glad we came here today. It's been a while since we just hung out and enjoyed each other's company."

Midoriya nodded, his smile widening. "Yeah, you're right. It feels... kind of like a deja vu moment somehow."

" sorry that sounds weird, we haven't been here before it's new" he chuckled a bit

" it's fine, they have some great spices, we should try them next time okay" Toro explained in a soft voice " Bakugou would of loved it"

Midoriya tensed, wincing before forcing a smile."yeah he would have"dropping the topic.

They sat in comfortable silence for a while, watching the reflections of the stars shimmer on the surface of the pond. Midoriya's mind was free from the usual worries, and he allowed himself to be fully present in this precious moment.

As the night grew darker, they finally decided to head back. The walk back through the park was accompanied by shared laughter and the occasional playful nudge. Midoriya felt a sense of connection with Toro that ran deeper than words could express. He knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, he had a friend who would stand by his side.

At the end of the park, they bid each other goodbye and to see each other in school. Midoriya watched as Toro walked away, a sense of contentment warming his heart. As he turned to head home, he couldn't help but think that perhaps the darkness that had been haunting him was slowly losing its grip, replaced by fact Toro would always be there for him, it nearly made him tear up at the thought, laughing for a moment he began walking home.

It was the weekend and everything was going great ignoring the fact in his mind that strangers waking by were to close and should 𝐝𝐢𝐞 hah. It was a good week.
