"Jeez, why are you even trying? You were serious about being a hero?"

"This damn Deku? You're just a pebble in my way of greatness! Now be like a pebble and stay on the ground!"

"You're nothing but useless! Just stop bothering and stop wasting space."

"Know your place!"

Hearing the voices, Izuku was jolted awake when he heard sparks of an explosion, breaking into a cold sweat until he noticed that his body was glued to the ground. Finding himself sprawled on the ground and covered in burns and scratches, Izuku looked up at the sky before he tried to move which failed.

'Where am I?'

He tasted the blood in his mouth as he tried looking around the place, each movement of his body causing him to hiss from the burning sensation of his wounds. 'Is this the playground near the doctor's office?'

"Why are you opposing me, huh?! You're just a useless damn Deku?" A silhouette stood before Izuku, his hands letting out sparks while he was approaching the raven-haired teenager. Hearing the voice, Izuku's body was trembling, his heart pounding loudly as he started to have problems breathing.

'N-no. No...not him...'

"Uh-ah…" Izuku could barely talk as fear grasped his body and tears swelled from his eyes as he noticed more people coming towards him.

The silhouettes then moved toward him, the white of their teeth showed in their sinister grins and smiles as they readied their quirks. 'Not this again.'

"Deku, you will always be useless!" Was the last thing he heard as the silhouettes attacked him.

"AHH!"

Izuku jolted awake, his breathing ragged as he felt sweat dripping from his face. He got up, feeling dizzy as he tried to look around the place. 'The hospital?'

"Ugh…what a dream…" Izuku said before he felt an intense headache which made him massage his temple, feeling his left arm in pain as well. When he turned to his arm, his eyes widened when he saw it in a cast. "What the? What happened?"

He then remembered what happened, his body broke in a sweat before he hopped out of the bed in pure panic. "Mom, Dad, Yu!"

As he hastily reached the door, the door suddenly opened which smacked him in the face.

"Ow, damn it!" He held his nose before he saw a nurse enter the room.

Immediately ignoring his aching face, Izuku ran up to her and then muttered loudly out of concern. "Hello there. Excuse me. Where am I? Do you know if my parents are here? Are they ok? Are the old guy and the people from the store plaza saved?"

"It's ok, Izuku Midoriya. You're in the Musutafu hospital. Your parents are here and they're ok. The other people who have suffered from the incident are recovering well and some have been discharged." The nurse answered with a smile before moving to the side and motioning him to the room next to his.

Entering the room, the teen's eyes widened when he saw his parents as he walked to them. "Mom! Dad!"

Inko and Hisashi sprinted towards him, enveloping him in a tight embrace.

"I'm so happy you're safe!" Inko sobbed, gently examining Izuku for any injuries.

"I'm so happy that you're safe!" Inko sobbed as she held Izuku's face, checking for any injuries.

Feeling relieved, Hisashi watched the embrace, his daughter hopped from his arms to join the family reunion.

"I'm so glad that you're all safe, Yu…" Izuku smiled through a few tears before his father ushered him back to bed.

"C'mon, Izuku. We've all got a few injuries, but you need to rest," Hisashi said gently. "You took a nasty bruise to your head and your arm's busted up from that incident."

"Yeah…what about everyone else? It was-" Izuku started, but his father cut him off by placing a hand on his shoulder, a proud smile on his face. "They're okay, Izuku. They wanted to thank you, but you were asleep for a few days, so they had to leave."

Izuku let out a sigh of relief before he noticed several envelopes with colorful logos in his father's hands. "They left letters for you. Heck! You were even on TV! It's not a big segment but it's something."

Opening one of the letters, Izuku read one of the letters, realizing it was from one of the kids he asked to help.

"Dear Izuku,

Thank you so much for helping us during the attack. We were so scared, but you were really brave and kept us safe. My mom says you're a real hero, and I think so too. I hope you feel better soon! We all do!

Sincerely, Kenji."

Izuku felt a lump in his throat as he finished reading the letter, unaware of the tears welling up in his eyes. He then turned to his father, who gave him a thumbs-up, while his mother gently held his arm. "They're all safe, and it's thanks to you, dear but please..."

Izuku cocked his head to the side before the woman's eyes started watering. "Be careful next time! Your arm was badly injured! I thought you were going to die!"

Letting out a sigh of relief at his mother's crying, the teen glanced at his bandaged arm until he felt another headache which made him have to rub his temples, the nurse giving him a glass of water for it. "Ow! Jeez…my head has been aching me since I woke up."

"Um...did anything happen to you during the incident, Izuku?" Inko asked with a worried face while drying her tears.

This caused Izuku to raise a brow in confusion. "Uhh…no. Apart from my arm being like this and this intense headache, nothing happened."

"Are you sure about that, kid? Looks like you took more from Koko now," Hisashi picked up a mirror and gave it to him.

Staring into the mirror in disbelief, Izuku's eyes widened like saucers when he saw his reflection. After a moment of silence, he touched his hair which was no longer black but a dark green color. "W-what happened to my hair? I don't remember bleaching or dyeing my hair. Why is it green?"

Inko and Hisashi looked at each other before the latter spoke. "We were hoping you could tell us. It was like that when you got out of the rubble. We thought some dye fell on you."

"Indeed. After making some checks, we have deduced that this is your hair's natural color." A bald, bespectacled doctor entered the room, holding a dark green hair strand between his fingers. "It has not changed even when removed. It's possible that it could be a change to the hair in later ages. It's possible that it could be hereditary."

"S-seriously?" Izuku and Inko said in unison, the woman slightly worried before their baby daughter grabbed and played with the teenager's hair while climbing onto her brother's head. "But why now? How is that even possible? Dad, did you or Mom have something like that happen to you?"

"Not at all. I don't remember anyone on my side like that. However, I don't remember much from my family tree. I'll have to check later." Inko rubbed her chin.

"Same on my side. That's why it's weird. No one on the Midoriya family tree had experienced this phenomenon." Hisashi folded his arms before he turned to the doctor. "Doctor Garaki, are you sure it's not related to a quirk factor? Izuku's quirk may have awakened. Have you tried to run a test on him?"

Izuku could not hide the smile creeping on his face when he heard that until he noticed the doctor's sorrowful expression when he shook his head.

"We have tried. When it comes to his body composition and skeletal system, it is a clear indicator. Also, there seems to be no sign of quirk activity in his body or a quirk factor in his body. It may be possible that it could be a side-effect of being in close proximity with another quirk."

Hearing this, Izuku looked down to the ground, his hopes fell which did not go overlooked by his father. "I understand. How long until he can leave the hospital? I don't want him to miss too much of school."

"He will be discharged today." The nurse walked up to Izuku with a stethoscope. "After we run a few more checks on him, he'll be free to go. We should be finished in an hour. We will need for him to visit again to get regular check-ups on his arm and head."

"Alright, we'll wait. Izuku, there is a bag on the ground with a fresh change of clothes." Inko said, picking up Yumemi who was thrashing to go back to Izuku as they left the room. "We'll be waiting for you, Izuku."

"Yes, Mom!" The teen nodded.

After a few tests and inspections on his injuries, he was left to his lonesome in his room, closing his eyes as he took in the silence of the hospital room. Seeing the clothes on his bed from his parents, he changed into them, the teen now wearing a blue All Might hoodie and a pair of black shorts along with his red high-tops. After he finished changing, he heard voices outside of the door.

"Is that the room for that quirkless kid?"

"Yeah. I don't know why the old doctor wanted him here but I'm glad that he's leaving today. And his hair...it changed. It's just...ugh! Quirkless patients make me sick! The doctor was so adamant on having one last inspection but I think it's a waste of resources." He heard the nurse from earlier at the other side of the door, the toxicity dripping from her tongue.

"Exactly! I respect him and admire his enthusiasm to help but sometimes I just wish that he doesn't have to be so kind to those quirkless scum! In my opinion, they should just die! They're cursed defects!"

"You saying that makes me feel filthy! I'm going to have to disinfect my hands."

Hearing their hurtful comments, Izuku's expression dampened before he stuffed his clothes in his bag as quickly as possible. 'I'm not even surprised anymore. At least everyone is safe and that's all that matters. But why does Doctor Garaki want me anyway?'

The eldest child of the Midoriyas hastily walked out of the hospital room when all of the doctors were not looking, the teen unaware of the veins on his head. 'He already said I don't have a quirk.'

Finally able to get outside, Izuku smiled gently when he felt the breeze hitting his face. He then stretched his legs before he reached the building where the reception desk was, seeing his parents there with his little sister who tried to waddle towards him. "Nice job, Yu. Did you miss me?"

"Yesh, Uku! Da!" Yumemi hugged her brother's leg, Izuku lifting her with his good arm as he went towards his parents.

"They're finished already?! I guess this hospital lives up to its reputation." Hisashi said as he folded his arms.

"Why don't you guys play outside? It's going to take a bit to get through the procedures." Inko explained, Izuku nodded as Yumemi played with his hair.

Izuku looked at the expressions on his parents' faces, seeing their exhaustion. Seeing them, his hand tightened into a fist before he turned around. "Sorry, Mom."

"It's not your fault, Izuku. Accidents happen. The good thing is you're safe." Inko smiled, ruffling Izuku's hair.

After a while of Hisashi having to go through a long and boring procedure that nearly made him fall asleep, they all left the hospital in Hisashi's car and decided to go to a restaurant and order takeout. During their ride, Izuku felt his hair going over his eyes, the teen was still surprised about its changing color until he noticed that the hair was long enough to go past his shoulder as he glanced in the mirror. He absentmindedly ran his fingers through it, still processing everything that had happened.

"Keep holding your head high and never give up!"

Izuku remembered the words that All Might told him before he decided to make a choice.

"Hey, Mom. Can I get a haircut?" He said to his mother, Inko having a huge smile while his father looked at him with a raised brow.

"What's wrong with your hair now? You have the classic Midoriya charm that has been proudly passed down from our old generation. How did you think I got married to your mother?"

"I'm not asking to be bald. I just want it to be a little shorter." Izuku shrugged, unaware of the victory pose that his mother made.

Hisashi was about to speak but he was stopped when Inko grabbed his head and turned him to face the road with little effort, much to her children's surprise. "Sashi…please keep your eyes on the road. We're going to the hair salon~"

"But Izuku's hair isn't that b-" He was interrupted when his wife gave him a smile that terrified him. "Our son looks like a hobo with that hair. Plus, it's bad enough that Izuku got your bad habit of wearing those dumb joke shirts. At least he will now look presentable after getting the haircut."

She then nudged Hisashi with a smile as she whispered. "Plus, don't be a sore loser, honey. I won."

"Pfft. Killjoy. Plus, you like those shirts." The raven-haired man spoke under his breath.

Hearing her husband, his wife kissed him on the cheek as they made their way to the hair salon. "It's different with you."

As they arrived at their destination, Izuku stepped out of the car and looked at the hair salon, a conflicted expression on his face as he felt nervousness welling up in his stomach.

'Keep my head high. Don't give up. It's just cutting your hair.' He mentally encouraged himself.

Stepping foot into the place, the teen felt comfortable in the serene and quiet atmosphere of the place except for the sound of hair equipment whirring as background noise. Sitting down on one of the benches, Izuku observed the people in the store who were using their quirks with great curiosity before he started mumbling which frightened everyone around him.

"Izuku, you're mumbling," Hisashi said absentmindedly, knocking his son out of his daze before his father pointed at the man in front of him. "It's now your turn. Make sure you pick the most comfortable one, ok? Don't worry about what people think about you, ok?"

Nodding, Izuku got up and sat in front of his barber who was a tall blonde man with wavy hair. The man turned his fingernails into blades which Izuku found himself intrigued by. "Woah, kid! That's some hair! Surprisingly smooth despite it being shaggy. How do you like it?"

"I-I just want it a little shorter. Especially at my neck please." He stammered nervously.

"Say no more. I got it." The man nodded as he started.

Izuku waited as his hair was being cut, seeing the hair from his head falling to the ground. Taking in the quietude and calmness around him, a somber expression appeared on Izuku's face.

'I have some time until this year of high school is done. But the question is: what can I do from then?'

He turned to his family, seeing Yumemi playing with her doll while Inko was teasing a depressed Hisashi who pouted and crossed his arms. Seeing their antics made a smile appear on Izuku's face as he looked outside.

'I can't keep leeching off my family. I want to be something. This can't continue forever.'

He then looked at his cast, a solemn look on his face before he traced his fingers along the wrist section of his cast. He then looked at his other arm, seeing his wristband.

'I promised to be better for them. But I wonder if I'm able to do any job. I can't even participate in a baseball tournament. I'm not even able to start a business if I want to due to me being...'

Remembering the nightmare from this morning, he felt an uncomfortable feeling in his chest before he calmed himself as he remembered the incident. Hearing those words, the teen took a deep breath before he closed his eyes.

'I may not know how right now. But I'll think of something. All Might could've put me in jail that day. Not sure why he didn't. I could've been lying to him. I don't deserve...'

"We're finished. How do you like it?"

Izuku was taken out of his thoughts before he looked in the mirror, his hair now shorter but still curly, his green eyes and freckles now visible. He was surprised at how much a haircut could change his appearance. A small smile came across Izuku's face as he touched his hair before giving the man a thumbs up. "It looks awesome. Thanks!"

Seeing her son's new look, Inko smiled while aggressively taking photos of him which got a blush from her son and a laugh from Hisashi. "Now you look like a lady killer, son…although I think the previous hairstyle was ok…"

"Oh hush, Sashi! Look at our baby! He looks so handsome! He's going to be a heartbreaker. I'm going to send a picture to Mitsu and Nao." The woman said out of elation, much to Izuku's embarrassment when he saw everyone looking at him. "Mom…c'mon, I'm 15. Plus, everyone is looking at us."

He felt a hand on his shoulder, seeing his father shaking his head. "That's just how your mother is. When she's on cloud nine, we're basically background music right now."

"Really? That's just great. At least I get to go home." Izuku put his chin in his hand while Yumemi latched onto his leg.

After they paid the barber and exited the store, the Midoriya family decided to go to the restaurant to get food before they made their home. Reaching home, everyone stretched in unison, Yumemi dashing towards the couch while Hisashi and Inko picked up the food and brought it to the kitchen. As Inko went into the kitchen to get some plates, Hisashi checked his phone to see the news about the Musutafu shopping plaza incident. "They're still talking about this. Hey, Izuku, there you are!"

"You guys weren't wrong?" Izuku mumbled when he saw the news on the phone which made his parents. "Did you think we were lying?"

Izuku looked at the news to see the old man he saved talking to the news reporter about his heroics, a picture of him showing on the screen. It was a small portion that was being shown on the news and it was nothing compared to the headline about the heroes but it felt like a birthday present for Izuku.

Hisashi clapped a hand on Izuku's shoulder, breaking him out of his thoughts. "See, son? You made a difference. That man is safe because of you."

Inko came in from the kitchen with plates and smiled warmly at Izuku. "We're proud of you, sweetie. You did something really brave."

Izuku nodded, a faint smile tugging at his lips. Seeing the expression, both parents felt a sense of elation before Hisashi nudged Izuku. "Oh c'mon! Have more confidence in yourself! You did great, Izuku! Don't let anything get you down, ok?"

"Yeah...it just feels so surreal. I thought it was a dream." The teenager scratched his cheek, getting a poker face from Hisashi.

"Your arm is like that and you think it was a dream?"

"C'mon! Stop talking and let's eat dinner," Inko announced from the kitchen, Hisashi and Yumemi went into the kitchen. "Izuku must be hungry after being asleep for so long."

After they finished their dinner, Izuku got up and was about to wash the dishes but he was stopped by his mother. "Izuku, don't work yourself too much. You just came from the hospital so focus on resting now."

"Ok." He nodded before he put the dishes in the sink.

Izuku then went to his room, seeing the bleakness of the place when he strolled into the empty room. "Back to reality again. Feels like forever ago despite it being a few days."

Izuku looked around the place, seeing his notebooks and school bag which made him a bit uncomfortable. He then picked up his job notebook with a weary expression on his face, seeing the marked-out professions in it. "I hate this. I hate being useless. I can't keep being a burden on Mom and Dad."

Izuku felt a tap on his head, turning to see his father who handed him a glass of juice. "Drink. You're not you when you're thirsty."

The teen nodded before he took it and drank it as Hisashi looked around his room with a curious expression. "Huh? Your room changed? What happened to all your All Might and hero posters?"

Izuku pointed to the closet with his hair covering his eyes.

Hisashi noticed the teen's face, crossing his arms as he tried to think of the right words to speak to his son. "Your hair is different now...are you sure you don't feel any changes? Your body may have changed."

Izuku looked at himself in the mirror before his gaze shifted to the ground. "Dad...you can...you don't have to take care of me anymo-"

"Izuku." Hisashi started, picking up one of Izuku's job notebooks. "I know that you blame yourself for a lot of things...I can't possibly know how you feel but...people can say what they want. They don't know you, Izuku. You are smart, you are strong. You can start anew. You will find a way to make this work. To find your spark, your path in life."

"I'm trying...but..." Hearing this, Izuku's shoulders began to tremble as he grimaced.

"And that's good enough. You're making an effort to change again...even if it's a little. That's not something a weak person would do, Izuku." Hisashi patted him on the head before he went to his closet, seeing a blue poster that was titled 'Hero Workout'. "Remember when you trained your butt off to be a hero for years despite everyone not believing you? Even then, you didn't care. You trained and trained. Day in and day out. And look at you now. You're stronger than me."

The man took the notebook from his son's hands, skimming through the pages. "Even now, you're trying. You may think you're useless but your actions say otherwise. You made me believe back then that you could do it and there is no difference now. Perseverance itself is a gift."

'I'm not sure, Dad. I...' Izuku thought as he glanced at the notebook with a frustrated expression. 'No...think positively, Izuku. Maybe...'

"Izuku, you have a lot of talents. Maybe you need to try and combine those talents to make something of yourself. Just take your time and make your choice. I'll be rooting for you, Little Might." Izuku felt something else in his hands, seeing the All Might metal bat at the store which made him shocked before he looked at his father who was smiling. "Whatever choice you make and whatever you will become, know that we will always be proud of you."

Gripping the bat, the teen looked at his reflection on the bat before he saw his father bump him on the chest with a smile. "Keep your head up, Izuku."

"That's right…what your father said is right." The two males turned to see a worried Inko by the doorway. The woman held Izuku's face and caressed his cheeks before she smiled at him, the teen seeing some tears welling from her eyes. "Keep being strong. And know that never in my life have I regretted giving birth to you. My baby, Izuku Midoriya."

"Izuku, you're our son and we are proud to have you in this world." The two people said in unison with smiles on their faces.

Looking at his parents, Izuku put on a determined expression on his face as he embraced them, the three staying like that until they heard a snap, running down the stairs to Yumemi who was sobbing with her broken toy in her hands.

"Oh no. Your toy!" Inko ran to the child, Izuku and Hisashi sharing a laugh before Izuku remembered something. "What happened to the Ryukyu doll? You got the bat so shouldn't you have gotten the doll as well."

"All of them got destroyed in the incident," Hisashi replied with a disappointed tone. "The good news is we're going to get a replacement but it's going to take a while."

Seeing his crying sister, Izuku rubbed his head before he had an idea. "I got an idea!"

Izuku returned to his room and went to his closet to see a mountain of notebooks on the floor that were titled 'Heroics: Notes and Tricks' that he glanced at, tracing his fingers along the books. 'How long has it been since I had these stored here? Three years now? Probably more?'

Remembering the shopping plaza incident weeks ago, Izuku's lips went flat as he crouched down, rubbing his fingers against the books before he started dusting them off. Seeing the words 'Hero Notebook' on the cover, he felt a small smile on his face as he let out a dry chuckle.

"I guess I haven't gotten rusty with the analytics." His eyes then lowered before he picked up the group of books, seeing a box with an All Might sticker on it.

Opening the box, he saw All Might merchandise and products in there which made a smile come across his face as he went through his stuff. 'This brings back a lot of memories. I forgot how much of an All Might fanatic back then. Well, still am. He inspired me so much.'

"Oh! Here it is." He found an All Might doll which was surprisingly in pristine condition as he dusted it off. "It's not girly but it's good enough."

As he turned around, Izuku noticed his job notebook on the table, looking at the page with all the marked-out professions before he sighed and threw it in the bin. "Who cares what they think? I'll find a way through this...and also a new notebook because that's full. Maybe I can use my new hair."

"What were you doing out there?"

Within a silent room that was dimly lit were two people, one of them being a raven-haired detective in a trench coat who had his arms crossed while sitting on a chair and the other being a man whose face had the appearance of a shark who was dressed in an orange jail suit with his arms encased in huge, metallic handcuffs.

"Fuck off! You're not getting shit outta me, you fucking bastard!" The inmate shouted angrily which made the detective sigh as he leaned back in his chair.

The detective looked down at the folder in front of him before he closed the file. "Let's get back to square one. Mr. Oniyama, correct?"

"I mean you have the damn file. Just double-check it." Oniyama gritted his teeth.

The detective noticed the villain's body shaking before he smiled. "My name is Naomasa Tsaukachi. No need to be on edge. We're just trying to get to the bottom of this situation."

"I said screw off bastard!" Oniyama said to Naomasa, his handcuffs banging against the table. "You are annoying!"

The detective kept his demeanor before he decided to change the topic. "Heroes are a big deal, huh? No matter how strong you are, they always kick your butt despite all the circumstances. Almost like a page out of a comic book. You could be just knocked out and sent into a concussion for stealing a jewelry store."

"You think?! They're such a pain in the ass! If he was not for that big bitch and that wood bastard, I would be rolling in green!" The inmate slammed his hands on the table. "And even though I went through the effort of getting that drug-"

Oniyama hesitated, Naomasa had a serious expression on his face as he leaned forward. "What drug?"

"It's none of your business. You fucking tricked me, you damn bastard!"

"Mr. Oniyama, you need to calm down. It is a possibility that you could get a lowered sentence if you do."

Oniyama kept silent, his mind completely in deep thought as he mentally pondered his options.

The detective patiently waited as the man in front of him recollected his thoughts before he rubbed his head. "Ah, shit."

"What's it going to be?" Naomasa asked, squinting his eyes.

The shark man clicked his teeth before he made a frustrated expression. "Alright, I'll tell."

At the outside of the room, two guards were supervising the interrogation intently, one of them in pure disbelief as he heard Oniyama starting to provide information on the situation. "How? Even with all the options that we have tried, it wouldn't let him budge. What made this different?"

The other guard smiled as he leaned back in his chair. "It's his quirk. It allows him to understand and detect the emotions of others. That paired with his experience as a detective, makes him dangerous. That's where he gets his nickname 'Truth Man' from."

After several minutes, they noticed that Naomasa was leaving the room while jotting down his notebook. Closing the door, the detective was greeted by one of the officers who accompanied him outside.

"Thank you for your time." Noamasa bowed in appreciation to the officers. "I've gotten some information about this situation."

The two officers nodded and left before Naomasa opened his car door. Before he could go into his car, he heard a sound before he looked to the sky to see someone land in front of him, the smoke clearing to show All Might.

"I am here."

There was a moment of silence between the two men before the hero spoke in a meek voice. "How did it go?"

"A lot more than expected, Toshinori. The plot thickens." Naomasa answered as he went into the car with All Might and drove off.

All Might read the notebook, his expression turned to shock. "You're kidding. Do you think that could be possible? A drug that enhances the power of a quirk?"

"Yes. However, it seems that it causes them to lose their mind when the quirk is being enhanced." Naomasa said, driving past a sign named Miyazaki Prefecture.

All Might rubbed his forehead as he looked at the information once more. "A berserker drug? That's worrying."

"Yes, but this answers a lot of questions on how villains can go toe to toe with the heroes recently," Naomasa grimaced. "One question is answered and multiple questions take its place."

"Do you have a report of the event?" All Might asked, Tsukauchi nodded as he turned on the radio and pressed a button.

"Earlier today, there was an incident at the Musutafu Shopping Plaza. The place was attacked by a gigantic villain who was identified as Dosu Oniyama. He was defeated by Mount Lady, Kamui Woods, and some heroes. Have you seen that fight? It was exciting. Some of the victims have made testimonies about being saved and helped by a quirkless teenaged boy by the name of Izuku Midoriya."

Hearing the report, All Might's eyes widened at hearing the name before a smile came across his face. 'Good job, young man.'

He then took out a piece of paper from his pocket. "Oh yeah. Can I ask for another favor, Naomasa?"

"Ok. What is it exactly?"

"You could just read the paper but oh well. I'm looking for a certain mafia group in the Musutafu. They've been causing trouble around Musutafu and it seems that there was a group of missing people in the area that looks to be linked with them. They could be linked with the mission I was assigned. Anyways, I was trying to track them but they have covered their tracks very well."

"Alright, I'll see what I can do. But why the sudden interest?"

"I made a promise to someone. And they seemed to be having issues with people from that group." All Might frowned as he looked ahead, his blue eyes glowing brightly. "And I want to see them prosper in this world. I believe everyone deserves a chance."

Naomasa smiled before it turned to full-blown laughter. "All these years and you haven't changed, old friend."

The hero crossed his arms with a raised brow before he sighed. "C'mon, give me some credit. I just want a society of peace. For everyone to be able to smile."

"Aye, aye, captain." The two then shared a laugh as they went into the darkness of the night.

"Hmmmhmmm..."

Izuku groggily woke up from his sleep, the teen half-asleep before he felt the sudden urge to use the restroom. "...bathroom..."

Getting up, he clumsily made his way to the bathroom. After he finished relieving himself, he accidentally hit his left arm on the wall which caused him to hiss in pain when he felt the ache course through his appendage.

"Ow!" Izuku clutched his arm and retreated, his body started glowing as veins pulsated around his neck and arm. "My arm!"

His head then collided into a cupboard which made a huge bottle of soap tip over and fall towards him.

"Huh?" Noticing the item coming towards him, Izuku immediately raised his right arm over his head and braced for the impact that never came.

"What?" The bottle then fell beside him, much to his confusion as he cocked his head in confusion. "Maybe it's just my imagina..."

Izuku felt extremely dizzy and exhausted as he collapsed to the ground, his body feeling extremely fatigued as he struggled to get up. "...what just happened..."

It took everything in his power for the green-haired teenager to lift himself off the ground and drag himself back to his room after washing his hands.

"I can do...up to 50 push-ups but...my body is having...issues now. That accident may...have hurt me a lot more than I thought." Izuku mumbled to himself until he plopped himself on his bed and quickly went to slumber with the last unanswered question on his mind.

'...why am I so tired?'

His head throbbed with pain, making him clutch his head as he tried to scream but nothing would come out. Izuku's body started jerking uncontrollably, his energy depleting before he fell asleep.

Hisashi's Quirk: Flame Breath

Hisashi can breathe fire. That's it. He can exhale a stream of flames from his mouth and nose. The inside of his mouth is easily flammable, it can get hotter the longer he inhales and keeps his breath. His body seemingly has a resistance to his fire and he can also eat fire but he states that it is unpleasant and will lead to him vomiting. When he coughs, his mouth releases smoke.

Finished this chapter. Alright, hope you like the introduction made for this series. I guess it does not make any sense to say it now but this is an AU. Also, I don't know what Naomasa's quirk is so I'm making his quirk the ability to sense emotions and the change in them. I enjoyed making this but I hope y'all enjoyed this. Well, hope that you all stay safe. Enigma out!
