"Alright, everyone! Gather around!"

It was another day within the Omega Gym building, the Remedial Hero Course students gathered around the two teachers, all of them curious on what is going on.

"Today we will be focusing on one-on-one combat."

After Shouta's announcement, everyone had mixed reactions as he gestured them to a place in the field with a ring around it as Touma explained. "We're going to evaluate what you have learnt in the last month in this exercise. You need to see how you will fair in a situation where your quirk is being used in a combat situation. Especially since you will be facing robots in the exams. You can also learn from your peers on how to improve your powers and fighting style."

"The fight will finish once the other person is knocked out or out of bounds." Shouta finished before he looked at everyone, using a ballot for each student to pick out of. "At least the numbers are even so that makes things easier."

Everyone was eager as they started stretching and doing exercises, Izuku hearing a few of them in the background.

"How much you're gonna bet that Midoriya guy is gonna eat the dust in the first fight?"

"That's not even a bet. He's gonna fall in the first ten seconds."

"Dude, what is your damage, Mineta?" Denki spoke up which surprised Izuku. "Just calm down. Why don't you fight him since you're so tough?"

Izuku ignored them as he started stretching, hearing Mr. Aizawa announced the two first combatants. "The first fight will be Izuku Midoriya versus Hitoshi Shinso. Come on the field."

Both Izuku and Hitoshi nodded and went to the field, the two went to both sides of the field. The purple-haired adolescent kept watch on his green-haired opponent who was analyzing his situation. 'I've never seen his quirk in action. From what I've heard, it seems to be a hypnosis type quirk but how does it work? Is it sight-based? As long as I avoid looking at him, I may not have to worry.'

"Don't hold back on me now." Hitoshi stated as he braced himself, Izuku doing the same by putting his hands up. "I don't plan to."

The two teenagers braced themselves and waited until Touma shot his gun and gestured for them to start.

"Fight!"

Without missing a beat, Izuku sprinted quickly, catching Hitoshi off guard when he noticed the verdette in front of him with a fist coming towards him. 'He's fast.'

'It is plenty shown that he had made great strides from a month ago. He takes great diligence in his training.' Shouta smiled when he saw Izuku's form before his smile faded when he looked at Hitoshi. 'But...'

"Stop and run out of the ring." Hitoshi said with his arms outstretched. All of a sudden, Izuku's feet stopped moving which surprised him as he was unable to stop himself. 'What the? My body…why isn't it moving? Why can't I stop?'

Hitoshi quickly moved to the side as the verdette ran out of the ring, much to everyone's surprise before one of them laughed at Izuku who came to his senses and looked around. "What just happened?"

"You lost, loser!" Mineta laughed heartily while some of the others followed in his laughter. The teen looked around in confusion while scratching his hair before he saw a hand in front of him before he looked up to see Hitoshi. "Sorry about that. You good?"

"Yeah. Uhh...what did you do?" Izuku rubbed his head before Hitoshi lifted him up, the two walking off the battlefield. Hitoshi kept silent before he scratched his neck. "It was just...luck. No need to worry about it."

Izuku was confused before he saw the purple-haired teenager walked off to one of the which made him worried. 'Luck...'

Shouta called for the next two combatants which are Denki Kaminari against Minoru Mineta.

"I hope you can do better than Midoriya because you were having one hell of a laugh." Denki said with his arms folded, Minoru grinned. "Heck yeah. That dude's basically quirkless. Plus, he got escorted off the field!"

"Ok. I hope you're ready to feel a similar experience." The blonde stated, his body emitting electricity as Touma declared their match to start. While they were facing off against each other, Izuku still felt dazed from what happened as he watched Minoru get blasted out of bounds by Denki in less than five seconds. "Seriously, what happened? I feel dizzy."

The other fights continued, resulting in Jiro beating an invisible girl with a sonic blast. Watching the rest of the fights, the one that caught Izuku's attention was a match between a boy with spiky, black hair and a red headband named Yosetsu Awase and another teen who looks older who has dark-blue hair tied in a ponytail named Hiru Katakana where the fight was done with Hiru brutally beating Yosetsu into submission. As the match finished, Izuku wondered on what Hiru's quirk is before he noticed the ravenette shooting him a glance, smirking before he went to his seat.

'What was that about?' Izuku thought before he saw the two teachers standing in front of them with papers in their hands. "I've made evaluations on the results on the matches. Emma Tanuki, you have done the best out of the group."

Emma stood up proudly, her curvaceous body causing some of the boys to be mesmerized by her as she pushed her hair out of her face before she let out a giggle. "Obviously."

The teacher then continued as his eyes landed on Izuku. "Midoriya...you have done the worse out of the group. Make sure to know of your shortcomings and train on them."

Izuku nodded, ignoring some of the snickering coming from Minoru and Hiru. Shouta heard that before he smiled as he stepped back.

"Now since Mineta and Midoriya performed the worse. Let's have you battle each other then!"

Both students were shocked by this before they were gestured to the battlefield. Izuku took a deep breath before he eyed Minoru, getting himself in a battle stance as he did so. 'Keep calm and observe my opponent. Don't make any quick assumptions.'

"START!" Touma said as he shot his gun.

'I'm gonna beat him and look good in front of the ladies.' Minoru smirked before he took the balls from his hair and threw them at Izuku who watched them coming towards him. 'From what I've known, those purple balls stick to anything unless he touches it. Man, I wish I had my bat.'

"I'll take you out in the blink of an eye. "

Izuku felt himself stuck before he saw a ball stuck to his feet which made him unable to move, much to Minoru's glee as he ran towards his opponent. "Hell yeah! You're gonna lose now!"

The verdette stayed calm as he crouched down and tried to move his foot, noticing the purple-haired midget lunging at him.

"Now you're-oof!" Minoru was cut off by a kick to the face which sent him spinning in the air, surprising everyone.

"How did he do that? His foot was stuck to the ground."

"Was that his quirk?!"

"No. Look at his foot."

Everyone saw Izuku's bare foot as it landed on the ground before they turned to see that his red shoes still stuck on the ground. Izuku smirked as he lifted his previously restrained foot into the air as Minoru stood up from the ground in shock. "How? You should've been stuck to the ground."

"The ball that you threw was not exactly glued to my exact foot. Just my shoes." Izuku explained as he lifted his leg. "I easily got out of it."

Shocked by the situation, the midget was appalled before he panickily created a grape-like whip which he lashed towards his green-haired opponent. The whip latched around Izuku's arm which went around Izuku's body, the teen managed to move his arms out of the balls' trap.

"Gotcha! Now you're stuck!" Minoru celebrated, him along with everyone unaware of the smile creeping on Izuku's face. "No."

"Huh?" The purple-haired teen lifted a brow, Izuku grabbing the whip.

"You're stuck...with me!" Izuku pulled his arm back with all his strength which took the whip along with Minoru straight to him. Dodging the other end of the rope, he balled his hand into a fist as he watched his opponent coming towards him. Within a moment, he punched Minoru in the face which made his eyes roll back before he fell to the ground, unconscious. Shouta walked towards the body with the Recovery bots before he lifted his hand. "Mineta is unconscious. Midoriya wins."

Some of the students were surprised before Touma decided to speak. "Do you see that? This lesson is not only for Midoriya but for all of you as well. If you don't take this course seriously, you'll be left behind."

Some of the students gulped as Shouta used his quirk on Izuku and removed the balls from the teen before he looked at the rest of the students. "Now that you have seen your progress for the last month, we have a new exercise. Since my time with you will be cut and we will be starting written classes now, for the rest of the month, you are all going to be put into pairs."

"WHAT?!" The students exclaimed, Izuku did not join in with the shout but is a bit curious on his teacher's decision.

"This is to improve on your individual strengths and, with a partner, be given new insight on your abilities as you bounce your training off each other. Plus, nothing beats a good and healthy rivalry." Touma stated with his finger in the air. As Minoru regained his consciousness, Shouta walked up to them as he took out a piece of paper. "Now we will be announcing the pairs."

"Denki Kaminari, you will be paired with Kyoka Jiro."

"So we're together, bolt boy?" Kyoka tapped Denki's shoulder as he put his arm around her. "Yeah, Gothlia! Just please tone down with the lofi music."

"Hey, don't say that so loud!" Kyoka blushed, slapping him on the head which made him laugh as she crossed her arms and mumbled. "...especially since you read Fifty Shades of Grey..."

"That was a bet!" Denki shouted at her, unaware of her sly smile.

"The next will be Mineta Minoru and Yosetsu Awase."

"Damn...it's not a girl." Minoru said in disappointment, Yosetsu surprised by the midget's reaction. 'Did I do something wrong to him?'

"The third group will be Toru Hagakure and Kosei Tsuburaba."

"Oh, really? This is gonna be fun!" An invisible pair of clothing, who is named Toru Hagakure, jumped into the air. Her voice surprising the spiky, brown-haired teen, whose name is Kosei Tsuburaba, beside her. "Did the clothes just talk-oh wait, it's Hagakure."

"The fourth pairing will be Emma Tanuki and Hiru Katakana."

Emma simply smiled before she turned to Hiru who nodded at her. 'Greatness has been paired with greatness.'

"That leaves the last two. Izuku Midoriya, you will be paired with Hitoshi Shinso."

Izuku raised an eyebrow before he turned to his partner who was leaning back on one of the seats.

"I-I guess I-I'm your partner." Izuku smiled before he held out his hand. "H-hello."

Hitoshi looked at him for a moment before he shook his hand. "Yeah. Got it."

As the groups conversed with each other, Shouta looked at the two male young adults before he looked at his papers. 'Shinso lacks motivation despite his great quirk and great insight. He also needs to physically train his body in order to fill the gaps where his quirk is unusable. Midoriya, on the other hand, has great diligence and is very adept in his physical prowess. For someone as sloppy as Shinso, Midoriya is a great partner to reign him in and get him to try harder. Also, the latter could help Midoriya with his timid personality and the inability of using his quirk.'

The teachers continued watching the groups preparing themselves before Touma decided to speak his mind. "At the end of the month, I demand to see improvements to you all. So from here on out, you all will need to push each other. Got it?"

"Yes, sir!" Everyone bowed down in respect as the two teachers decided to leave as Shouta spoke.

"Class dismissed!"

"HA!"

Izuku shouted with his arms outstretched, his voice echoing through a junkyard before nothing happened. Scratching his head, he started blushing before he sat on a rusted car while jotting his notes. "Darn it. That didn't work either. So that cuts anger and frustration being the trigger. But Mr. Aizawa said that I was under stress when I activated but I wasn't able to activate it since. Is it because my body is not used to it or does it need more?"

It was a day after the pairs were made at the Remedial course, the verdette was training at an abandoned junkyard he found at the outskirts of Nagoya, the teen put an alarm on his phone to make sure to get some practice in before his shift.

Ever since it has come to his knowledge that he has a quirk, the teen has been working every day to learn how to activate it and find out what it can do with the help of his teachers and Recovery Girl. Izuku took a moment to exercise once again, thinking over his dilemma as he decided to do some pushups. "I need to find my mojo with this quirk if I'm going to keep up with the rest of the class. Darn, why couldn't the exam not be against robots?"

The teen jumped to his feet after a while as he looked at his hands, eyeing the scar on his arm before he took a deep breath and smacked his cheeks. After drinking some water, he closed his eyes and tried to block out any sounds around him.

"Focus."

It was pure silence as he thought about how he felt when he felt the pain around his body.

'Think deep. Concentrate. The last time it felt like a spark of energy rushing through my body. Then...' Izuku lifted and outstretched his arms, his body and muscles tensed before he felt a huge surge of energy from his chest. "That should be it."

Veins pulsated from his body as his hair moved wildly before he started glowing, the teen started to panic when he saw himself glowing from a car window. "Ok. I'm glowing. I'm glowing. I should be-"

The glow quickly subsided which made the verdette let out a sigh of disappointment. "Are you serious?! How was I able to hold onto it before?!"

Concentrating again, Izuku took a moment to calm himself before he started glowing, the glow fluctuating before it disappeared. "Darn, I was able to do it a few seconds ago. Is it a stockpile quirk? Which hero has a quirk that allows them to glow? Hmm. Maybe I should use it like All Might!"

Taking a deep breath and clenching his fist, he went in front of vehicle before he braced himself, mirroring All Might as he thought about Aizawa's teachings. 'Legs apart, shoulders down, arms up.'

Focusing on his hand as much as he could, Izuku noticed his fist starting to glow before he quickly rushed forward and punched the car as he yelled at the top of his lungs.

"SMASH!"

There was silence, Izuku shaking in embarrassment before he sat down and curled up into a ball. "Why does All Might even do that? That was so cringey."

"Yeah, it was."

"I know ri-" He paused, turning to Hitoshi Shinso who is leaning by the entrance of the junkyard. Screaming internally, Izuku blinked at the guy before he cocked his head to the side. "Uhh, h-hello? Didn't know you live around here?"

"Yeah..." Hitoshi looked around the place with a raised brow before he spoke his mind.

"What are you doing here? I didn't know that there were other people who knew of this place. They usually ignore it. Explaining the junkyard being abandoned." He asked Izuku who raised an eyebrow, unaware of the glowing on his arm starting to disappear. "I-I'm…training."

"Oh, you're the guy from the course that has the weird glowing quirk. Midoriya, right?"

"Y-yeah..." Izuku nodded while rubbing his wristbands. Hitoshi was surprised by the teen's rather timid behavior, especially remembering that he stood to their teacher. Remembering the look of determination from the verdette's face at the time made him a bit annoyed as his eye twitched uncontrollably.

"Why are you training so hard? What's the reason? That quirk that you have hardly does anything from what I've seen and you have three more months until the remedial exam. How are you so sure you're gonna pass?" Hitoshi asked the question that was on his mind for a while. Hearing this, Izuku balled his hands into fists before he shot the violet-haired male a determined glare. "I...want to be a hero...like All Might. What he has done...the things he does without a whim to save people. I want to be someone like that. I want to share that feeling of joy and happiness to this society. Also, I made a promise as well and I intent to keep it."

'To show this world that even I can do something.' He thought before he looked at the ground.

"Why bother trying? We won't be able to pass the test like how we are. We don't have combat-type quirks or even ones that can go against the bots. Look at the rest of our classmates, do you see how busted their quirks are? How do you plan to even beat them in combat training?" Shinso said out of frustration as he punched one of the vehicles. "How are you sure? You have been training but do you feel different? What different are you able to do now that you can't do last month that can work against the bots? Why are you so confident?!"

Izuku felt a bit aback by that question, a moment of silence took a place before he lifted his gaze to the sky as he answered honestly. "I'm not sure..."

"You see-"

"But...if there is a will, there is a way. I've been learning martial arts from Mr. Aizawa. So were you. As for the robots, I'll use my bat again. I probably might add more spikes to it. It's not much but I have three more months to see what else I can get under my belt especially if my quirk is not robot-compatible. You could get a weapon if your quirk doesn't work. I mean, Eraserhead has one since his quirk doesn't work on objects. I don't know what the future holds but I want to keep an open mind."

Hitoshi's eyes widened in surprise by what he heard, crossing his arms before he let out a hum. Izuku turned to the purple-haired young adult before he let out a sigh. "I know what I want to do but Shinso, what about you? If you're so sure about this being impossible then why are you training? Why don't you give up?"

Hitoshi looked at the ground with a conflicted expression on his face which did not go unnoticed by Izuku. "You don't want to believe that this is it, don't you?"

The purple-haired teenager let out a sigh before he turned to look outside of the junkyard. "I don't even know. My quirk is not the best for combat situation. I keep messing up and making mistakes at the course. I want to be a hero but...I wonder if I'm cut out for this."

"Not best for combat situations. This coming from the dude who kicked my butt earlier yesterday." Izuku raised a brow at the statement before he got up and grabbed his bat. "At least you know what your quirk does. Monday was the first time I knew I even had a quirk."

"Seriously?"

Izuku was caught by surprise by this. "Y-yeah. A-apparently, Mr. Aizawa explained it to you all...I think."

"Really? I wasn't listening."

"Are you serious right now?!"

"But you just learnt about the fact that you have a quirk..." The purple haired teen was surprised by this before he lifted a brow. "You have our work cut out for you."

"Yeah. It's bad but it's not hopeless." Izuku smiled as he tried to activate his quirk again while swinging his bat which ended in failure. "The point of training is to change myself and get better at what I want to do. Why should I accept this course if I'm not going to make an effort and change myself? Aren't you tired of everyone telling you that you're never going to amount to anything? Don't you want to prove them wrong?"

Hitoshi was surprised by what he heard, folding his arms as he walked up to a bunch of rusty pipes. "You're not gonna get anywhere with that."

"Yeah but if I don't try, what will I know what I can do?" Izuku picked up a spiky covering for his bat and attached it to the weapon before he positioned himself and slammed it into a vehicle, creating a huge dent along with several holes which made him smile.

"I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about your quirk." Izuku looked at him surprised before the guy sighed before he let out a dry chuckle. "A while ago, you look like you're about to lay an egg."

The green haired teen felt a little upset, a slight blush of embarrassment printed on his face. "T-t-t-that's not cool! I'm at least trying here! I need to get a grip on how to use this power."

"Ok." Hitoshi said with a smile before they both shared a chuckle. Izuku put his bat on the ground before he saw a can of soda came flying to him which he caught.

"Dunno if you like grape flavor." Hitoshi leaned on the wall with his arms crossed, Izuku looking at the can before he smiled. "Thanks."

"Don't mention it."

Deciding to have a drink, Izuku looked at the purple-haired teenager beside him, remembering the spar that he had with him earlier and the strange before he decided the question on his head. "Seriously, what happened earlier today though? My body couldn't move no matter how hard I try."

Hitoshi looked away before he rubbed the back of his head. "It's my quirk. It's called...Brainwashing."

"Woah! That quirk..." Izuku muttered, Hitoshi let out a sigh and silently braced himself as he rolled his eyes. 'Here it comes.'

"-is awesome!" The verdette said with sparkles in his eyes, much to the purple-haired teenager's surprise. "Wha?"

"The quirk is so cool. You're like this one comic character I read about!" Izuku said as he racked his brain to remember the name. "I can't remember the person's name but she was so cool. She had red hair or was it brown?"

"A comic book character..." Hitoshi repeated in disbelief, raising a brow before he let out a small chuckle which made Izuku confused.

"You know you're weird, right? Who the hell talks to a guy who can control you in one sentence?" He asked with a smile, getting a shrug from Izuku.

"Forgot to say this. Call me Shinso. Hitoshi Shinso." The guy held out his hand, Izuku looking at the hand in disbelief. Izuku then decided to shake it with a smile. "I'm Izuku Midoriya."

"So how does it work?" The verdette held up a notebook and pencil which surprised his partner. 'Where did he-'

"Well, I can make anyone do whatever I want. I can activate it once someone responds to me." Hitoshi explained, Izuku nodded intently as he made his notes. "I don't really get time to really test this quirk since...you know. It requires someone to use it.

"That quirk sounds awesome!" The verdette gleamed, getting a sigh from Hitoshi. "Yep! I'm pretty sure you got a screw lose in that brain."

The two shared a laugh before they continued talking with each other, the two not stopping until it was time for Izuku to go to work, the two parted ways.

The next day, everyone was taking their lunch, Hitoshi sitting on a table in a seat across from Izuku as they both enjoyed their lunch. Hitoshi looked around, seeing the other groups speaking with each other until he noticed a girl with rainbow-colored hair reading a magazine and drinking an orange drink which made him confused as he nudged Izuku who was reading a book.

"Did we always have a girl like that?" Hitoshi stated with a raised brow to which Izuku checked his notebook. "Oh! From what I've remembered, that girl is Toru Hagakure."

"Who?" Hitoshi raised an eyebrow.

"The invisible girl?"

Hitoshi blinked while Izuku continued.

"Floating clothes?"

Hitoshi was still confused which made Izuku let out a sigh.

"She watches High School Musical on her phone before courses start."

"Oh! Her. Do you know how annoying that movie is?" Hitoshi groaned, getting a shrug from Izuku. "No comment."

"You were thinking the same thing. You always had headphones on in the morning or make sure that you're exercising when she plays that damn movie."

Izuku started to sweat a little before he whistled. "No comment~"

"What happened to her anyways? Wasn't she a floating pile of clothes before?" Hitoshi asked.

"Mr. Aizawa trained her hard on how to control her quirk so now she can turn off the invisibility. It's for a short amount of time but at least it's something. He's trying to train to turn it off and on when it's convenient and not all the time. Speaking of exams, I wanted to ask: what are you going to do?" Izuku turned to Hitoshi who put his hands on his back of his head. "I dunno. My quirk doesn't work on robots so I'm in a pinch. I'm not even that physically strong compared to you, Midoriya."

"You can be, though. It's gonna take a while but I can see it. I'm doing stable progress with my martial arts. Plus, I'm in the same boat when it comes to my quirk. I can't even get the right feel in activating it." Izuku said as he ate a chicken nugget. As they continued their conversation, Izuku had an idea when he remembered one of the fights. "But you're too reliant on your quirk though. I mean, do you remember your fight yesterday against Ms. Jiro?"

"Don't even talk about it." Hitoshi crossed his arms, frustrated by the loss. He could not shake off the loss he had against Kyoka Jiro, the fight ended with Kyoka blasting him away with a sonic blast.

"This suck." Hitoshi mumbled in frustration as he leaned back, his brows furrowed as he slammed the table. "All that time and effort for nothing. It's like time's frozen for me or something."

"Yeah, I know the feeling. I mean, I learnt some martial arts skills and techniques but compared to them..." Izuku watched his fellow classmates with Hitoshi. After a while of silence, he let out a sigh before he glanced at his notebook before he looked at the quirks he had along with some drawings of his classmates and their display of their powers. After a while, an idea popped to his head which made him finish his drink and write some notes in his phone.

"Alright, finish your lunch and get up, Shinso. I have a suggestion that you would be interested in."

Hearing Izuku's words, Hitoshi gave him a confused look as the verdette put down his notebook on the table. Izuku ate his lunchbox before he voiced his suggestion. "How about we do hyper training?"

"Huh?" The purple-haired teenager raised a brow. "Hyper training?"

"How were your grades in the written exam?"

"Fairly good. Almost failed." Hitoshi crossed his arms, Izuku taking a note of that before he put down his notebook. "Alright, so here's the plan. Since I'm physically fit and I have a good training regimen, I could help you with muscle training along with your written exam grades through study sessions. In return, I need you to help me with using my quirk with that Brainwashing quirk of yours. If my body get the hang of it, I could be able to get the feel of activating it."

"Huh? How can my quirk help you?"

"You could brainwash me to use my quirk." Izuku stated as he tapped the table with started to mutter. "It is possible that my body could pull it off since it's following your command. Through that, I could use muscle memory or connect the dots to see what I need to activate the quirk. From there, we can see the limits of your Brainwashing too especially with me volunteering myself as tribute."

Hitoshi nodded before he said one word. "Ok..."

"Using these courses alone won't get us the results we need. I don't think you realize but compared to everyone else, we are extremely behind. We're pretty much at the bottom and we're strapped for time with having three months left. We need to train more than everyone else here and find a way to pass."

Hitoshi cannot say that he is not interested when he saw Izuku writing out plans, points and blueprints. Looking at all of this, he raised a brow when he saw some of the drawings on the book which were not in the gym. "Some of the items that you're drawing is not in the gym. So we're not doing this training here?"

"It depends. At times, we can train here but since it's gonna take some cash to get here, we're going to have to use the junkyard in Kawasaki. Where do you live?"

"In Yokohoma. Why?" Hitoshi said as Izuku checked the place on his map before he smiled. "That's great. We can do our rounds around there. Is there a beach there in Yokohoma?"

"Uhh…yeah."

"Great! I work at a café in Kawasaki. We can meet there for the study sessions for the written exams." Izuku wrote up some more in the book as he drank a bottle of water, Hitoshi a bit taken aback by this. "But aren't there strict rules in the city about quirk use?"

"Well, yeah. But we can work around it." The verdette grinned mischievously. "If they don't see us using our quirks, it's all good. The junkyard is abandoned for a reason. Plus, no one hardly goes there. That's the only place that we're going to secretly use our quirks. Also, school is about to start so we're gonna use that to our advantage."

Hearing the plan and reading the book, Hitoshi let out a evil grin before he put his arm around Izuku's shoulder. "Huh? You know that despite how you look and act, you're a complete madman?"

"Sometimes we have to think outside the box...or in this case, the course." Izuku scratched his hair sheepishly. The two continued with their conversation during their lunch until they heard the alarm, unaware of someone listening in on them. Izuku and Hitoshi shared a nod before Hitoshi lifted his fist. "Let's rock, Midoriya."

Izuku was confused by the gesture, feeling a bit dazed as he looked around before he smiled and bumped his fist. "Yeah! Let's show them who's boss."

"So we're gonna start now?" Izuku said with a smile, much to Hitoshi's dismay before he activated his quirk. "We're going to start tomorrow."

"We're going to start tomorrow." The verdette said with a dazed expression.

It was early in the morning in the city of Kawasaki, the streets being occupied with people going to their work and school early along with a slight villain attack from the distance. Within the crowd were two students, Hitoshi and Izuku, who were jogging through the streets, one of them panting heavily as he tried to catch up to the other person.

"Do we...have to...do this...? It's literally...the next...day." Hitoshi said between pants before he took a moment to catch his breath. "Can't we...call it quits?"

"Quitting is for losers. And it's the first day." A voice recording came from Izuku's phone which surprised the purple-haired teenager. "Seriously, why the voice recording?"

"Because I don't want you to brainwash me and skip the morning exercise like you did yesterday."

"You really have a recording for your answers. How far ahead are you?"

Izuku nonchalantly checked his phone before Hitoshi grabbed his phone and checked to see a list of recorded responses on the device. "When did you do this?"

The verdette pressed one of the responses on his phone screen. "These recordings will be done on January 25th."

"Is there a response that you don't have?" Hitoshi asked, seeing Izuku going towards the phone which he batted his hand away. "Don't answer that! Let's just go."

Izuku nodded before taking his phone, the duo continued on their jog as the sun rises over the horizon. After they made a few laps around the parks in Kawasaki, Hitoshi fell to the ground out of exhaustion. "This is...hell...and you started out with this?"

Izuku put a bottle of water beside him before he wiped the sweat off his face, the verdette putting his fingers on his chin. "I actually did more."

Hitoshi's eyes widened in shock before he looked at Izuku with a shaky expression. "Are you sure you don't have a quirk? When did you even start training?"

"I started training around 9 years old. Maybe 10. It was around the time when I joined the baseball club." The verdette answered flatly which made Hitoshi a bit scared as he looked at his green-haired partner. "You're a demon. At least it's over."

"What do you mean 'over'?" Izuku said which made Hitoshi turn to him in surprise, his face going pale. "What?"

"We have pushups to do after this."

"What?"

"And we have a few stretches and sit-ups to do as well."

"WHHHHHAAAAAATTTT?!" Hitoshi's voice echoed in the morning, all of the civilians surprised and shocked by the scream before they continued with their daily activities.

Finished the chapter. I really enjoyed writing these chapter but yeah. Toru is visible now, thank God. Well, you're going to enjoy the duo of Midoriya and Shinso. Take care and stay safe. Enigma out!
