It was in the morning in the Kawasaki train station, Izuku taking the train before he noticed Hitoshi to which he waved to. "Hey, Shins-"

"I hate you. I hate you so much." Hitoshi glared at Izuku before he folded his arms which made him twitch uncontrollably, glaring at the verdette who scratched his cheek and chuckled. "S-sorry about that."

"Despite your looks, you're a demon. How did you get through all that training?" The purple-haired teen leaned on the train after hissing in pain. "And you did that daily?"

"Yeah. After a while, you'll get used to it." Izuku lifted a finger in the air as he spoke in a matter-of-fact tone. Raising a brow, Hitoshi turned to him with a scrutinizing look. "Describe 'a while', Midoriya. If that was the first couple days, I don't know if I'll have limbs at the end of this."

"It's the first week. It's not that bad. Give it a few weeks to a month and you'll be ok." Izuku smiled gently but his statement did not ease his colleague's worries. 'I'm going to die before this course finishes.'

Reaching their stop in Tokyo, the two made their way towards UA college, the two noticing a police chase down the street before the thief was stopped by multiple bullets that stuck him into the wall. As the thief struggled against his binds, a man with muscular build with long, spiky, pale mint-green hair who was dressed in a small open black bulletproof vest with a long-sleeved dark blue undershirt, brown pants and a pair of black combat boots along with a white mask with four holes in it in a square formation and a pair of fingerless gloves and gauntlets that resembled a Gatling gun. As the hero picked up the thief and arrested him, Hitoshi blew a whistle at the spectacle. "To think the gap is that far, eh Midoriya?"

"That's the hero Gunhead! He's so cool. From what I've seen, his quirk makes him shoot claw bullets from any part of his body. Oh! I need to get an autograph." Izuku gleamed before he dashed towards the hero, surprising Hitoshi with his speed. 'Is he a Bullet Bill or something?'

Able to get Gunhead's autograph, Izuku came back to Hitoshi with a huge sparkling smile on his face. The purple-haired teenager looked in Izuku's notebook to see autographs from different heroes which surprised. "That's a lot of autographs. You're a serious hero fanatic, you know that?"

"Yep!" Izuku said with no hesitation as he put his red notebook in his bag. "And that's another autograph secured!"

The two continued until they reached UA college, both of them noticed the crowd of reporters which they managed to get pass as they went through the entrance.

"Ow. My muscles hurt." Hitoshi groaned while massaging his limbs, his arms felt like they were on fire. Izuku let out a laugh as he took out a cold bottle of water which Hitoshi took and applied it to his arms. "It's gonna feel like that. You should've seen how much of a mess I was when I started."

"Knowing you, you must have been unable to move." Hitoshi commented, getting a nervous laugh from the verdette. "You did?!"

The two then entered the campus, both of them surprised by the sheer number of people within the institution going to different courses and facilities.

"Damn. That's a lot of people here. UA is a big college so it makes sense." Hitoshi commented, getting a nod from Izuku. "It feels so much different than when it was closed."

"I mean, it makes sense." The verdette said as he put his fingers on his chin. "Despite the hero and support department courses, UA still have regular courses. I might be interested in the graphic design course."

"That reminds me. You haven't answered my question. How the hell did you get through with the training?" Hitoshi said with a raised brow at Izuku who laughed nervously while rubbing his black wristbands. "You'd be surprised. I guess I drank a lot of milk...or was it juice?"

Making a turn for Gym Omega, Izuku bumped into someone which made him lose his balance. "Oh, sorr-"

"Why don't you watch where you're going, you damn extra?!"

Hearing that voice, Izuku's eyes widened before he looked up, his breathing becoming ragged as he clutched his chest.

'N-no...'

Seeing a blonde, spiky haired teenager dressed in a red, open jacket, a black shirt with a skull on it and blue jeans in front of him, all color drained from Izuku's face before his body started to shake uncontrollably as he stepped back and gripped his wristbands to calm himself. His teeth clattering as he tried to speak a coherent sentence. "I-I-I w-w-w..."

Seeing the blonde's crimson eyes glaring at him, Izuku's mouth was sealed shut as his heart was beating a thousand times a minute. After a while, the person started getting angry as he grabbed Izuku by the collar. "What's the big idea, huh? The hell do you want?"

"Dude, chill out! It was just an accident." A spiky, red-haired dude beside him protested which made the blonde angrier. "He should've watched where he was going!"

"Calm down. It was a simple accident. Just let go of him." Hitoshi asked, seeing the shell-shocked and petrified expression on Izuku's face.

'No...'

Izuku found it hard to breathe as he tried to form words but after seeing the blonde's glare and his hands started to let out sparks, his breathing became more ragged. Tears started to well up in his eyes as he looked at the ground. The verdette strongly wished he could be anywhere but here as he tried to move, his body unable to respond due to the intense feeling of fear freezing it before his mental thoughts spoke. 'K-K-Katsuki B-B-Ba-Bakugo.'

'No!'

Izuku felt his quirk activating as his mind went blank, his body moving out of fear when he heard another crackle. 'Get away!'

Slapping away Katsuki's hand, Izuku made a run for it to Gym Omega, Hitoshi following behind him in confusion which surprised the spiky haired blonde. "Hey, wait! What the hell?"

"Talk about rude. Who was that guy? You know him, Bakugo?" The red-haired teenager accompanying Katsuki said as they both turned to see the retreating form of Izuku before he shrugged and walked away. "The hell should I care?"

Meanwhile, stopping around the corner, Izuku slipped down the wall as he tried to calm himself and regulate his breathing before he started mumbling. "...o-one, t-two, t-three..."

Hitoshi saw the shivering teenager on the ground with his body glowing intermittently, he quickly crouched beside him and putting his hand on the teen's shoulder which made Izuku jump and clutch his head out of fear.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Izuku mumbled quickly before Hitoshi grabbed him by the shoulder. "Midoriya, calm down!"

Izuku's teeth clattered as he started sweating when his vision blurred until he clutched his chest. 'I can't breathe.'

"Midoriya!" Hitoshi yelled.

Izuku stopped, the glow on his body dimming before his eyes suddenly had light. He slowly looked around before he started to breathe softly, turning to Hitoshi.

"Chill out and breathe." Hitoshi said slowly, the verdette following his instructions as he did as he was told. After a while, he slowly came to as he quickly went to the bathroom to wash his face.

"You good? You sure you don't need to go to the infirmary?" Hitoshi said while leaning by the bathroom entrance, Izuku nodded slowly before he squinted his eyes, asking another question. "What happened back there?"

Looking at his reflection and trying to catch his breath, the verdette felt nauseous as he lifted himself from the sink and made his way towards class. "I'm...ok. Just a...bad memory."

"Are you sure?"

Izuku stopped in his stride, looking at the crowd of students walking around the place before he looked at his phone to see the time to notice it is a few minutes until courses begin. "Yeah...let's go...we're almost late..."

"The hell was that dumbass?" Katsuki thought aloud which caught the attention of the tall, red, spiky-haired person beside him who looked at him. "What's your problem, man?"

"Shut it, Pinhead." The blonde stated as they made their way towards their classes.

"Who you calling Pinhead? It's Kirishima. Dude, you need to calm down. Seriously?"

"I am calm!"

The two continued on their conversation, more like Katsuki yelling maliciously and loudly at the teen named Eijirou until they reached a huge door that said '1A' which surprised the red-haired young adult. "Wow, that's a huge door. Are there really people who can grow to that size?"

Katsuki kicked the door open with his hands in his pockets, everyone in the class turning to him which made him irritated. "You got something to say?!"

Some of the students were taken aback by his rough attitude and looked away, a few others looking at him in concern and worry before Eijirou tapped his shoulder. "Dude, you need to chi-"

"Do you want to die?" Katsuki said, lifting his arm which let out tiny sparks from his palms. This statement made by him made everyone step away from him before he put his bag down and put his feet on a desk as he waited on his teacher. 'Heh! All of these extras don't look so tough! This will be a piece of cake.'

"This...was not what I was expecting." A voice said, surprising everyone before they turn to the blackboard to see Shouta leaning by the teacher's desk. Everyone was shocked by the sudden appearance of the man, including Katsuki. 'How the hell did he get there? I didn't even see him walk in.'

"Hmm." The teacher folded his arms as everyone went to their respective seats and sorted themselves before he checked his phone, shaking his head. "It took over a minute for you all to be quiet and sit down. We need to work on that."

"It's our first day though." One of the guys who was a tall, muscular man with spiky hair and big lips mumbled quietly.

"That shouldn't be an excuse, Rikido Sato." Shouta said beside him, catching everyone off guard when they turn to the teacher who nonchalantly returned to the front with a bored expression. Katsuki was dumbfounded again by the teacher before he smiled, his palms becoming sweaty. 'This school is no joke. It's the real deal. This teacher isn't a pushover. Perfect.'

"I guess this goes without saying but my name is Shouta Aizawa and I'm your homeroom teacher. Now without further ado. Welcome to Class 1A!" The man announced to his students before he took out a box under the cabinet. He then handed out several blue and white PE uniforms with the letters 'U' and 'A' to the students, some of them looking at it before he spoke. "Now change into those and report to Field Gamma in 15 minutes."

Everyone was confused by this which did not go unnoticed by the teacher before Ochaco raised her hand in the air. "Aren't we going to the orientation since today is the first day? Isn't this against the rules?"

"Why? There isn't going to be anything important said apart from the regular school rules, motto and the past and the foundation of the school. I don't know about you all but that sounds like a Grade A sleeping spot. I'm doing you all a favor by not having you all to be bored for a few hours and instead do something cool and productive."

Everyone nodded and shared a smile before they went to change their clothes, Katsuki doing so before he went to Field Gamma to see his teacher there. "Good job, Bakugo! You changed and able to get here with time to spare."

"What did you expect?" Katsuki scoffed before the teacher noticed everyone else coming to the field. "Good timing but still needs work on being faster."

Everyone's expression dampened before the man observed the students. 'Hmm. Fifteen students. There are fewer students here than last year.'

"Right now, we will be doing a Quirk Apprehension test." Shouta announced before he called for a few robots that was carrying baskets of baseballs and other sporting equipment. "Your quirks have done well in the entrance exam in a combat situation but I need to see the versatility of your quirk. This exercise will be you all showing me your knowledge of your quirk and how far you can push it currently. Don't push yourselves past your limit. Understand?"

"Yes sir!" All of class 1A nodded which made the man nod before he stepped back. "Let's get started."

Izuku was less energetic than usual as he went through the heroics written classes which were noticed by some of his classmates.

"Finally, the written classes are done." Hitoshi yawned while stretching his arms in the air. "There is so much I can take with learning heroics and the rules of Japan."

"I mean...we're protecting the peace so it makes sense we need to know the ins and outs." Izuku said, his voice sounding much quieter than usual as he drank a can of lemonade. "Can't be protecting something that we don't know about."

Hitoshi wiped his eyes before he stretched his body, letting out a hiss of pain. "Sheesh. But does it have to be boring? Then there's the orientation which I'm glad that we didn't have to go through all that."

"Yeah. I'm glad that we didn't have to stay there longer than we have to." Izuku said, his face feeling a little pale. 'I forgot that I'm not that great with crowds. And I don't have to go there and meet him."

Suddenly, the two then heard an explosion in the distance, a ball rocketing in the air which made Hitoshi raise a brow. "Damn! The Hero Course is going at it. They're something else. Look how far that ball is going."

"Yeah..." Izuku said, his face getting paler when he saw the explosion. Hitoshi recognized his expression before letting out a sigh. "So what happened this morning? You looked like you saw the devil or something."

Izuku tensed up when he remembered what happened, his body froze when he remembered the glare on Katsuki's face before his eyes were glued to the table. "It's...complicated...very complicated..."

"Well, I'm all ears." Hitoshi said as Izuku held his feet while he did sit-up. The verdette took a while before he decided to take a deep breath. "It was-"

Another explosion went off, Izuku pushing back the urge to vomit as he took out a paper bag. 'I feel sick.'

Hitoshi saw the verdette's face turning blue before he let out a sigh. "I'm going to go get some drinks. Just stay there."

Izuku nodded as he waited, feeling nauseous and leaning his head on the table to get some sleep.

"Hey, glow boy!" Izuku twitched at that name before he turned to see three young adults approaching him with grins on their faces. The verdette wanted anything than dealing with anyone as the three gathered around him which managed to make him feel on edge. 'Mineta Minoru, Hiru Katakana and Emma Tanuki. What do they want with me?'

"Don't ignore us, we're just trying to talk!" Hiru shouted which caused Izuku having a bit of a headache under his shouting. As Izuku massaged his temples to soothe his aching cranium, this ticked Hiru off who was about to grab him before a voice stopped him.

"Calm down, Hiru."

Izuku turned to see Emma who was dressed in a black and white panda hoodie and a pair of black bike shorts along with black sneakers. She smiled sweetly and sat beside him, putting a can of coffee in front of him. "Sorry about my friend's behavior. He doesn't mean to be loud. Let's start over. My name is Emma Tanuki. The guy with the purple-hair is Minoru Mineta and the other guy with the ponytail is Hiru Katakana. Coffee?"

"Sorry. I'm not a fan of coffee." Izuku pushed away the can with a crooked smile which slightly annoyed Minoru and Hiru. Despite her sweet smile and dainty demeanor, Izuku could not shake the uneasy feeling that he had from Emma and Hiru. It reminded too much of Kemono and his other bullies. 'I don't like their vibe.'

"Hey, man!" Hiru sat beside him before he patted him on the back. "Sorry about the coffee. Should've gotten you water."

"Yeah...my name's Izuku Midoriya." Izuku said a bit uneasy, his feeling nausea increasing as the three sat around him. 'Ugh, I feel sick. I wanna vomit.'

"What's wrong? Are you ok? Want us to take you to the infirmary?" Hiru continued tapping Izuku's back, the teen feeling a bit weak and his headache intensifying. He tried to politely move away Hiru's hand which caused the raven-haired teen to grab his arm and tightened his grip. "Careful there. Don't want to lose your balance."

"I'm...alright..." Izuku could barely word out as he tried to pull his arm out of Hiru's grasp which failed, his vision getting blurry as he started to feel sleepy. 'I wanna go home...I need to get out of here and...take a nap...'

"Midoriya!"

Hearing Hitoshi's voice, Izuku's eyes widened before he mustered the energy to shrug himself off Hiru's grasp. "I'm...ok...sorry but Shinso will take me there. I need to talk to him about something."

"Now that's rude. You look like you're about to fall. Let me help." Hiru said in concern before he held Izuku by the shirt. Izuku could barely find the strength to push back as the noises around him begun to fade. 'My...head...'

"What's wrong?" Hitoshi looked at Izuku who slowly turn to him. "Hey...can you take me...to the infirmary please, Shinso? I'm not...feeling so...good."

"We were trying to help him out but he was so rude." Emma said with a hurt expression, Mineta scoffed as Hiru touched Izuku's back. "What did you expect? They have no manners to the superior beauty."

"Minoru sweetie, that is rude. We can't be talking like that." Emma said before she patted Hiru on the arm. "Hiru, baby. Why don't you let him go?"

Hiru sneered before he dropped Izuku on the ground, Emma angered by the gesture. "Hiru! I said let him go not drop him!"

"My apologies. My hand slipped." The boy with the ponytail said before he left, Minoru following him before he let out a chuckle as Hiru muttered some words. "Quirkless idiot."

'Quirkless...?' Izuku thought as he heard Hiru, raising a brow. 'How does he know that? Hiru doesn't have a super hearing quirk nor does he know of my past. Mr. Aizawa told everyone that I'm a late bloomer so how?'

"What the hell is your problem?!" Hitoshi was about to grab them before he was stopped by Izuku whose face was pale. "Let's go...to the infirmary...please..."

The purple-haired boy looked at Izuku for a while before he clicked his tongue. "Fine."

Izuku turned to Emma and smiled at her. "Thank...you...sorry if I seemed...mean. I'm just...a bit...under the weather right now."

"Alright. I accept your apology. Get well soon, Izuku." Emma waved at him sweetly before she left with Minoru and Hiru. Hitoshi smiled as he took Izuku by the arm. "Looks like someone has the hots for you. Huh, Midoriya?"

"I don't know." Izuku felt his heartbeat getting faster at the teasing but he could not shake the uneasy feeling, turning slightly to see a death glare coming from Hiru which made him turn around quickly. "With those two guys around her, we're not gonna win a fight against them. Glad I stopped you from fighting Katakana. Something is off with that guy."

Hitoshi lifted a brow. "What do you mean?"

Izuku lifted his hand and felt his headache subsiding. "It has something to do with his quirk. When he touched me, my body felt weak and I started getting a headache. It's the same when he fights, his quirk seems to drain people of their energy. I might have to call it a day."

"That's scary." Hitoshi commented before he turned around. "Why did he fail the exam?"

"Probably it's a quirk that works on living beings if I had to make a good guess. Anyways, we'll worry about that later. We need to think about how we're gonna get better from here." Izuku said as the two went to the infirmary. Entering the room, Izuku looked around to see no sign of Recovery Girl which made him let out a sigh of relief as Hitoshi put him to sit down.

From the nurse room, he and Hitoshi noticed the students from Class 1A doing exercises on Field Gamma. The one that caught Izuku's eyes was a person who was the person who was shooting laser blasts from his belt. 'It's that guy from the exam. And that girl, she uses the acid to slide. I wonder what type of acid comes from her body or is she able to secrete any acid. Why doesn't she use her horns? Doesn't it have a function?'

Seeing their quirks, the two boys watched in awe as Izuku took out his notebook and wrote down everything he has witnessed and every speculation he had about each quirk he saw on display, some catching his attention being a student who shoot tape from his elbows to traverse the place and grab objects. 'Maybe...'

Hitoshi watched the exercise before he noticed Ochaco lightly threw the ball. "Man, their quirks are strong. Wait, when is the ball coming down?"

"It's not coming down." Izuku said as he made notes on it, the two looking at it for a few minutes only to realize that it is not coming down. "Aaaaaaaaand it's gone."

After the exercise was done, Izuku shook uncontrollably at Katsuki's outburst before he noticed the blonde was restricted by Shouta's scarf as the teacher glared at him. Seeing Shouta's scarf in display, Hitoshi was mesmerized by the capturing weapon as he spoke. "I'm not gonna lie. That scarf is awesome. I wish I had a weapon. Especially one that can support my quirk."

Izuku's eyes widened in realization before he turned to him. "That's it! You're so smart, Shinso."

Hitoshi was silent before he raised an eyebrow. "What?"

"We need support items!" Izuku was writing notes before he went into one of the notebooks. He turned to a page that showed a drawing of a mask which made Hitoshi lift an eyebrow. "What is this?"

"It was an idea I was thinking for your quirk. Since someone needs to respond to you to use it, you can have this mask that can boost the volume of your voice." The verdette explained enthusiastically, continuing to talk until Hitoshi brainwashed him to stop and take a breath. "Anyways, what I'm trying to say is. We can use support items. There is a limit to how much we can use with two being enough but we can still use it. Also, why not ask Mr. Aizawa to train you with the scarf? He is training us still despite his time being cut."

"Hmm, I'll ask him." Hitoshi put his fingers on his chin as Izuku went to another page with a drawing of gloves on it. "We're not going to have enough time to bulk you up so we're going to need more firepower. Plus, you need to train your body a lot. That scarf doesn't look like it's easy to use so you might need gloves."

"I'm interested." He said with a smirk. "You do know that this is somewhat cheating, right?"

"Uhh, yeah." Izuku became worried as he scratched his cheek before Hitoshi's smile grew bigger. "Alright, I'm in! I might enjoy this."

"Ok. UA has a Support department so I need to check if they can get this done." Izuku put back his notebook before he looked at the hero class with a melancholic expression before he turned to Hitoshi. "Hey, Shinso."

"Hmm?"

"I need you to help me later with my quirk." Izuku said with a determined look on his face. "I have some things I want to try and I want to see what else you can do with your quirk."

Within the class of 1A, Katsuki was twitching uncontrollably when he saw the results of the Quirk Apprehension Test that his teacher distributed to the class which got mixed reviews, Ochaco being glad that she had eighth while Eijirou was a bit disappointed at getting tenth.

'I got fifth?!' Katsuki thought completely in disbelief before he looked at the names that were above him. 'Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Iida and Yoarashi. Who the hell are those extras?!'

"Do you see the strength of your quirks through these results?" Shouta asked before he looked at the list. "This is how far you are right now. Your starting line, to be exact. For the rest of this year, we will be training on your quirks in every aspect possible. By the end of the year, I demand to see results."

"Yes sir!" The class nodded in unison.

While Shouta was explaining the curriculum to them, Katsuki barely listened as he was looking at his classmates before he noticed the four students that scored higher than him in the test, one of them being a boy with red and white hair, a tall girl with long black hair tied up in a ponytail, a tall and well-built boy with dark brown hair in a buzzcut haircut and Tenya. 'So Peppermint over there is Todoroki, Ponytail must be Yaoyorozu, Buzzcut right there is Yoarashi and Four Eyes is Iida.'

As Shouta finished his lecture and class is about to finish, Katsuki looked at the timetable he was provided with a smile on his face as he went home with a singular thought on his mind.

'Good. It's gonna be all the more fun to knock them all down.'

"Let's go, Shinso!" Izuku declared, Hitoshi scratched his head with an uneasy expression. "Are you sure about this?"

"Yeah! Go for it!" Izuku yelled as he stood in the middle of the Kawasaki abandoned junkyard.

"Use your quirk!" Hitoshi commanded, causing Izuku's mind to go blank as his body is unable to be controlled. The purple-haired teen watched as Izuku's body started to tense up as he took a deep inhale. As soon as the verdette began to glow, he came back to consciousness as he looked around, much to Hitoshi's surprise. "You got knocked out of it. Does your quirk make you immune or something?"

The glow still present as Izuku tried to think and understand what is happening with his body before he picked up his notebook. "Not sure. It could be the pain I'm feeling right now. I'm guessing if someone experience pain, it will take them out of your command. So we need to get you to strengthen your hold on someone's body."

Hitoshi nodded as he crossed his arms. "Huh? So I need to strengthen my hold. How about you? What can you do?"

"Well, the muscles in my body are all contracting and are starting to feel a bit uncomfortable. Maybe, this is the reason my body becomes unusable is because I need to flex all my muscles. So if I do this..." Izuku tried to move as little as possible which made no changes to his glow. He then relaxed his muscles which caused the light emitting from his body to fade before he took some notes and stood up. "Hmm, alright. Shinso, again!"

"Are you seriously sure about this?" Hitoshi said, Izuku nodded before he made the command again. Izuku's body quickly used the quirk but he came back as the glow appeared on his body, this time focusing on keeping the glow present. 'From what I've felt so far especially with my bouts with Mr. Aizawa, my quirk seems to activate when all of the muscles in my body is being used. This probably explains why I use it unconsciously when I train with him. But...'

Izuku then noticed a difference, his body almost unable to move as he tried to make a step before he felt an extremely sharp pain through his chest.

"OW!" Izuku yelled in pain, Hitoshi worried for him. "Midoriya, are you alright?"

"Yeah...feel like I ran a mile..." The verdette said as his knees hit the floor, taking steady breaths while trying to get up. 'Come on! Get up!'

The glow on his body disappear which made his muscles ache and his vision blurry as he started to find it difficult to look straight. As he started to black out, Izuku forced his body to move, going through the pain as his brain keep yelling at his body. 'Get the hell up!'

"Midoriya!" Hitoshi's voice snapped Izuku out of his thoughts. "Huh?"

"Dude! Are you ok?"

'What?' Izuku's vision started to become blurry before he felt something wet on his hand, looking down to see blood on his hand. Feeling his face, he noticed that there was a trail of blood coming down his nose which made him surprised. "H-huh?"

His vision went black as he fell to the ground, unable to respond to Hitoshi's voice as he slowly lost consciousness.

After a while, Izuku's eyes slowly opened, looking up to see a brown ceiling, the teen getting up while holding his head as he groaned. "Uhhh...my head hurts."

He then noticed a piece of tissue in his nose, taking it out which showed that it was covered in blood which made him remember. "I was training with Shinso...I practiced with my quirk...and then I blacked out..."

His door suddenly opened, Naomi coming into the room with a steaming bowl of soup before she noticed that Izuku's awake and sitting up on his bed.

"Izu! You're ok!" She quickly put down the bowl and hugged him before she separated from him and inspected his face. "Are you ok?"

"Yesh, I'm ok." Izuku said with a blush as she puffed his cheeks, the woman letting out a sigh of relief before she went for the soup. "Good. Well, I'm happy that you're ok. When your friend brought you here, I was worried."

"Friend?" Izuku raised a brow, Naomi putting the tray with the soup on his lap with a smile. "Yeah, that purple-haired fellow with the fish-eyes."

"Shinso?! He brought me here? I thought you found me by the junkyard or I was dreaming." The verdette thought before a spoon went into his mouth. "Eat your food, Izu. And make sure to thank your friend tomorrow."

Izuku looked at the soup with a melancholic on his face as the word rung in his mind again.

"Friend...huh?"

It was the second day of college for the hero courses, within the class of 1A, the students were lounging around and talking with their clichés until they heard a voice. "Get ready and dress up in your P.E. uniform. Today, we will be doing combat training."

Shouta was in front of everyone, surprising them before he walked out of the classroom. "Report to Gym Gamma in 15 minutes!"

"Man. This is gonna be a recurring thing, isn't it?" Ochaco said while trying to calm her fast-beating heart. "I thought my heart was gonna jump out of my mouth."

"Well, it is to be expected from the UA institution. Let's make haste to the field, everyone!" Tenya said, everyone nodding before they changed and made their way to Gym Gamma which is an industrial site compiled by many factories, cranes and pipes in the form of a labyrinth.

Shouta was waiting for them in the middle of the grounds before he checked his phone. "Good. Let's get started. The exercise today will be close combat practice. We will be doing one on one sparring matches to show how good you are in a battle situation. Try to defeat the other by either taking them out of bounds or knocking them out unconscious."

The students had differing expressions, Ochaco a bit worried while Katsuki had a huge grin on his face as his hands shook with excitement. 'Now that's what I'm talking about.'

"Now, the first two people to come up will be Shoto Todoroki and Hanta Sero."

The two male students, one of them having black hair that reached his neck and elbows that looked like tape dispensers and the other having red and white hair and a burnt scar on his face, went to the battlefield before they waited for Shouta to make the announcement.

"Start!"

Immediately as the teacher said that, Shoto launched a wave of ice that covered the entire area, some of the ice hitting the buildings and freezing part of the infrastructure. Everyone was surprised by the display of power from the ice user, Shouta looked around the place until he noticed Sero in the ice, shivering from the cold.

"Todoroki, undo the ice." The teacher asked, the teen dispersing the ice and freeing Sero who fell to the ground as the Recovery bots helped him by heating him up, everyone taken aback.

"Woah, what strength." Ochaco said in disbelief, everyone else taken aback including Katsuki who the latter was slightly taken aback by the sheer power before he noticed the ice falling apart. Shouta then walked in front of everyone with a bored expression before he looked at Todoroki.

"Todoroki. You won the match but you created too much unnecessary collateral damage. Did you see how long it took for this to be taken care of?" Shoto was surprised by the man's criticism before he decided to speak. "Shouldn't it not matter as long as we take care of the villain?"

The teacher made a sigh before he spoke. "Todoroki..."

"...A hero is not all about beating the villains, it's about fighting with control to rescue the civilians and keep the peace. Anyone can fight but we need to fight with our brains. We must be careful not to make reckless acts. One wrong move and it can be over and I will help you to make sure that you don't have to go there. Sometimes, the most effective attack does not have to be the strongest one. Learn control and keep your power to a minimum. Keep your strength under control. Fight smarter not stronger."

He then turned to the rest of the class with a stern expression on his face. "You should all learn from Todoroki's fight and let this be a lesson. We're not knuckleheads that decide to kick or bash the villains. We're bodyguards of the public that should adhere to the laws."

The battles continued between the class 1A, the last battle between Katsuki and Ochaco, the two facing each other as the blonde wore a huge grin while Ochaco had a worried expression. As soon as Shouta started the match, Ochaco rushed towards, moving side to side to catch Katsuki off guard, the girl unaware of the growing grin on the male's face. "Weak."

"Huh?" The brunette was confused until she noticed him lifting up one of his arms that started to let out sparks.

"Die." As he said that word, a huge explosion was released from his palm. The blast sent Ochaco rocketing out of the ring until she collided into a building, knocking out the girl unconscious when she descended to the ground which caused some of the students to cringe at the impact.

"Bakugo is the victor of the match." Shouta announced the results, the Recovery bots picking up the unconscious girl and taking her to the infirmary. Katsuki was about to walk back with a smirk on his face, ignoring the scolding from his teacher. Glaring at the uncaring blonde, Shouta simply sighed before he announced the next battle.

"Katsuki Bakugo will be fighting against Momo Yaoyorozu. Both of you on the field."

Surprised, Katsuki walked on the field with his hands in his pockets, a huge grin on his face as he saw his opponent coming on the field who was a tall, raven-haired girl with black eyes who bowed gracefully.

'Perfect! I get to go against Ponytail.' The blonde's grin could not get bigger as he prepared himself. His opponent, Momo Yaoyorozu, was not deterred as she put her hand on her chest and took a deep breath. All the students inspected the match, some of them taking notes as Shoto watched the battle with a cold expression.

"What the? That other girl isn't afraid of Bakugo?!" Eijirou said, a bit worried about Momo's wellbeing. A long, raven-haired girl with a frog-like appearance put a finger on her mouth. "Yeah, he took out Uraraka easily."

"I understand that, Asui but wasn't Yaoyorozu recommended for the Hero Course along with that Todoroki dude?" Rikido stated, sweating a little until his question was answered by a pink skinned girl, Mina Ashido. "Yeah. I hope she doesn't get hurt too much."

As everyone did their notes, the two combatants eyed each other with differing expressions.

"Get ready to be blown away, extra!" Katsuki grinned as he braced himself, his palms sparkling while Momo lifted her arms in front of her as her skin started glowing which confused the blonde. 'The hell is that? Some light-based quirk? Who cares? I'll destroy her before she can make a move.'

Shouta lifted his hand in the air. "Start!"

Putting his hands behind him, Katsuki unleashed an explosion that blasted him towards Momo who silently watched as he launched a powerful blast that nearly covered the area in front of him, surprising everyone except Aizawa. 'Just like it was shown in the test and against Uraraka, he has a powerful quirk. He will need to control his power...and that attitude.'

As the smoke subsided, the blonde was surprised when he saw a black riot shield, Momo behind it creating a bow and a few arrows. She shot a few of the arrows which her opponent evaded as he got closer to her, being right in front of her and ready to detonate a bomb before he noticed the smile on her face. 'What the?'

"Please be careful." Momo said gently as a pole came out of her palm, the blonde barely able to avoid the weapon with an explosion before he landed on the ground. Seeing a staff coming out of the girl's hand as she spun it around and braced herself with the shield tied behind her, Shouta nodding as he watched the rest of the students. 'Exactly why I made him go against her. Momo Yaoyorozu has great control and flexibility of her quirk. Someone like her who keeps a calm demeanor is possibly a great counter to Bakugo. Maybe...'

"You think that's gonna stop me?!" Katsuki shouted with a smile as he dashed towards Momo who prepared herself. 'His explosions come from his hands. I don't know how strong those explosions can be but it's the center piece of his fighting style.'

As the blonde got close, the raven-haired girl smacked his hand which caught him off guard before he got hit in the stomach that sent him back. They both continued the fight, Momo knocking away his hands which made the blonde unable to hit her with his blasts. After a while, Katsuki was enraged before he changed his approach as he went around her. "Let's see how you deal with this!"

She smacked his hand away again but this time he grabbed it before he blasted her away with an explosion, the girl almost falling out of the ring which surprised everyone including Shouta. 'So he can think after all.'

Quickly recovering, Momo saw Katsuki coming to her at an astonishing speed, the girl getting up quickly as she picked up her shield. Swinging her shield, she slammed the shield in his face which sent him back.

"Holy crap! Ouch!" Eijirou stated as he saw the blonde fall back while Mina shuddered at the sound of the impact. "He's gonna feel that in the morning."

"Watch your language!" Tenya said to the two while Tsuyu watched. 'She's so cool.'

"Damn it!" Katsuki said as he launched himself before a piece of sheet hit his face. "What the fuck?"

"You have to be careful, Bakugo." Momo said as she walked towards her opponent who managed the rip the sheet off his face, seeing the girl coming to him with a kendo sword in her hand. "Because if you're not careful-"

"You're dead!" Katsuki shouted. "I'll crush you!"

Momo dashed at a burst of speed towards Katsuki, nimbly dodging his explosions before her wooden sword touched his neck, causing him to lose his balance and fall out of the ring. "-you'll lose your head."

"Momo Yaoyorozu wins this match!" Shouta announced.

Momo let out a huge sigh before she held out her hand to Katsuki. "That was an awesome match. You did well."

The blonde's shoulders shook, glaring at her before he smacked away her hand. "Fuck off, bitch! You got lucky! Make no mistake! Next time I will crush you!"

The raven-haired girl was surprised by this before Katsuki got up and left the field with a grumpy expression on his face. Momo left the field with a worried expression as he saw Katsuki sitting by the wall with a sneer on his face. "I hope he didn't take that too hard."

Everyone congratulated Momo as Katsuki sat by the corner and watched the rest of the battles, feeling a bit disappointed before he looked at Momo. 'She played me for a damn fool! She literally made me look like a dumbass out there.'

Taking a deep breath, Katsuki frown turned into a smile as he watched Inasa knock out an opponent with a huge tornado.

'This won't take me down. They may have gotten the drop on me this time but next time, they won't be able to beat me.'

Within Gym Omega, sounds and impacts of strikes could be heard before a huge noise echoed through the building.

"Ow!" Hitoshi fell on his back, panting as Izuku stood over him with his arms folded. "C'mon. Even though I'm stronger than you, Mr. Aizawa should've taught you some techniques to overpower people stronger than you."

"Why don't I try to use my quirk on you and see if you have the same bravado then?" Hitoshi got up from the ground as Izuku smirked with his arms folded. "Alright then. Let's go for it. Try your quirk."

Hitoshi was surprised by this before he raised a brow. "Are you sure?"

"Positive."

"Alright, sto-" He was cut off by a punch in the face which made him clutch his face, seeing Izuku who had a mischievous smile. "Ohh. Gotta be quicker than that."

Hitoshi was annoyed before he went again. "Fall d-"

Izuku hit him in the gut which made him fall to the ground before he let out a small chuckle. "It's my counter for your quirk. Even if I fall into the conditions for your quirk, I just need to move before you make the command."

"What the?" The purple-haired teenager said before Izuku picked him off the ground. "How did-"

"Dude, you've seen me done notes on quirks and you're wondering why? Anyway, that's an extreme flaw with your quirk. You need words to activate it." Izuku said before he put his fingers on his chin. "It's a great quirk but if someone is able to achieve that bypass, what's your plan B?"

"..." Hitoshi paused before he thought about his situation. "I'm thinking of finding a way to freeze someone before I give them the command."

"Oh! Like a brain freeze? I can see that working but we need you to get stronger to handle the bots and be able to take advantage of people in that brain freeze stun lock." Izuku stated while making notes in his notebook. Hitoshi sighed before he picked up some weights and started exercising. "I know but strength training isn't gonna be enough. You had that and a weapon and you still failed. Also, why don't you train your quirk?"

Izuku took a deep breath, the glow coming on his body before it flickered off which made his body fall down to the ground as he started panting.

"My quirk is more of a liability than anything right now. The moment I even conjure it, my body is useless for a while. And too much usage of it caused my body to overload and faint. It's best to use it at the end of the day or at least try to focus it on one part so that it's not as bad." Izuku explained before they saw everyone else using their quirks and the sheer power difference and growth to their abilities which made the two boys frustrated.

"Damn. These guys make me wonder why I'm here. They're so blessed." Hitoshi said, irritated as he felt a drive and continued doing his weight training.

"We need to find a way. And we need to do it fast." Izuku said, able to regain feeling of his body as they both continued their training. The verdette then turned to Hitoshi, remembering what happened yesterday before he bowed in front of him. "Uhh...thanks for the other day. For bringing me home. Sorry about that."

The purple-haired teenager raised a brow before he continued training. "Don't mention it. You don't need to make a huge fuss about it. I'm just helping you."

"But still-"

"Shut up and train, Midoriya." His command made Izuku's body move as it lifted weights. "We have a long way to go."

Alright, this chapter is finished. Well, courses have started and things kicked off at a very...interesting way. Izuku and Hitoshi are training their butts off and we're learning more about Izuku's quirk. Yeah, orientation sucks so none of that. Ain't writing no dumb speech. Please take care and without further ado, Enigma out!
