Hello readers, nice to see you on my profile! So, couple things for my story we will mostly be following my o\c Shichi (Shee-Chee) small early notes! Itachi is ten years older than cannon. We will be following the cannon timeline, but I will be altering and changing some things as I go but worry not if you have questions, comments, or concerns feel free to reach out! Without further a due chapter one! (Also, if I forget things to make note of ill add them as needed this is only the second story, I am doing the first ill post here later!
Chapter 1
Shichi
Council chambers 10:30 Pm
It's a quiet night on April 7th, Anbu Neko patrols the council chambers. A single small noise breaks the silence of the night, a small cooing noise. Neko steps out of the shadow, seeing a small bundle on the Hokage's desk. She approaches the bundle cautiously, and sees a small child, a baby boy to be precise. She looks down at the child seeing the baby sleeping peacefully, a letter leaning against the side of the baby. Neko picks up the letter and begins to read it. After a moment, a small gasp escapes her, causing her to snap her fingers. Two additional Anbu appear behind her, one wearing a boar mask the other was a fox mask. "Summon lord fourth to his office immediately, tell him its urgent and I'll be waiting for him there," Neko instructed them never taking her eyes off the letter in her hand. Both masked shinobi nod in acknowledgement, before vanishing.
Neko gingerly picks up the small child, noticing the small medallion resting on his chest. She picks it up, careful not to wake the sleeping child, and inspects it. She sees that its nothing more than a yin and yang medallion, obviously a keepsake from the parent who left the child here.
Hokage's office 15 minutes later
Minato Namakaze, also known as the yellow flash, and the fourth Hokage enters the office seeing not just Neko but a small bundle in her arms." Leave us" Minato says to the invisible Anbu in the room. "Report, you wouldn't have called for me this late if it wasn't truly urgent," he says leaning against the front of his desk, crossing his arms with a serious look on his face. Neko nods before speaking. "Lord Hokage sir, this is Shichi, and you may want to take a look at this," she says as she holds out the letter. Minato gives a quizzical look to the infant she holds before taking the letter. After a moment of reading his eyes widened in shock. "Be discreet, summon all the clan heads to the council chambers for an urgent meeting, give no details," He orders with an edge to his voice before he reaches for the child. Neko, though reluctant at first passes the child to Minato before leaving to carry out her orders. Minato gives the newborn child a small smile as he picks up the medallion and getting out a surprised gasp as he sees on the back of the medallion is a small, yet basic storage seal. He activates the seal revealing a small stack of papers. Minato reads them shock heavy in his eyes. "So that's how it is huh? Don't worry old friend, if he hasn't found your letter by the time he reaches Genin, I'll tell him myself," he says to no one at all. Seconds later Neko reappears in a swirl of leaves, her long purple hair swaying ever so slightly in the breeze. "Rise Neko and remove your mask," Minato orders. Neko gives a nod, removing her mask to reveal the face of Yugao uzuki. Minato hands her the child and motions for her to follow him.
After the short walk from the office to the council chambers, Minato pushes open the doors revealing the shinobi council, all of which are visibly tired and some look grumpy at the late hour. All the clan heads see Minato enter the room and go to rise to greet him. "Do not rise i know it is late but as you were informed this is urgent and to be kept hush hush for the time being. I present to you Shichi, and with him was a letter that i will read aloud, to save time," he states first pointing to the child in yugoa's arms then to the letter.

Lord fourth,
I am a shinobi of the leaf, who also belongs to one of the great clans of the leaf. The child before you is my first and only child, Shichi, and I'm sorry to say his mother did not survive the birth. Dye to the enemies I have made both in the village and outside of it, I cannot in good faith keep him with my family, as i have lost faith in the shinobi council as well as the civilians, to not use my son as a tool or weapon. I ask, though I know it to be a selfish request, that you allow one of the clans that you trust to raise my son. I hope with your help he can become the next great shinobi of the leaf.

Minato finished reading the letter, pausing for a moment to let the letter sink in before he spoke again. "I'm ashamed that our own shinobi have lost faith in us as leaders, we must do better," he says as baby Shichi begins to fuss drawing the attention of the room. Yugao begins to gently attempt to soothe the newborn. Fugaku, head of the Uchiha clan, is the first to speak. " So what I understood from that letter, assuming any of it is true, a shinobi is incapable of caring for their own child so they want one of us to do it, sounds more like they shouldn't have had a child and use a potential reputation to not raise the child," he flatly states irritation visible on his face. "So, what do you suggest Fugaku, abandon the child? Regardless of your opinion lord forth is right we have failed our shinobi," Hiashi, head of the huga clan, questions not hiding is aggravation at the Uchiha's' blatant disrespect. "Stick him in the orphanage like the other orphans. Better yet why not give him to the foundation? I have heard that Danzo treats his subordinates very well," Fugaku states causing every clan head to bristle at his words. "Like hell will stand by and allow that mummified power hungry psychopath have that child," Tsumi, head of the inazuka clan, all but snarled out.
The clan heads begin yelling their objections before Minato raises his hand silencing everybody. "The foundation has been disbanded as they have been deemed an A ranked threats to the village's stability and I will not abandon this child to the orphanage as I believe the letter and do in fact believe this is a clan hair." He states with finality. It's at this moment that Shichi has begone to cry. Tsumi gets up and all but waddles over, her belly large as she is at least six months pregnant, taking the child from yugao with a soft smile." Awe the poor child needs a diaper change," she says as she takes him back to her seat. After a few moments and the room being filled with a foul smell, Shichi's diaper is changed. Tsumi holds the baby, a motherly smile on her face, before Shichi looks at her and gives her a gummy smile while he coos at her. "We will take him in," Tsumi states in a tone that says she isn't asking permission. Minato gives her a knowing smile, almost as if he knew it would play out this way. "I ask that this meeting be kept secret for the time being, you're all dismissed and thank you for your patience," he says causing all the clan heads stand and bow before they all file out heading home.
6 MONTHS LATER
AFTER THE KYUUBI ATACK
There is chaos in the council chambers as the shinobi and civilian council scream at each other in a bid to speak first. The former Third hokage, Hiruzan saratobi, enters the chamber carrying a small child. The room falls silent as he enters." Lord third sir, what is going on? Where is lord fourth, and who is that child, "Choza, the head of the akamichi clan, asks concern heavy in the large man's voice. With a sad expression Hiruzan speaks." I regret to inform everybody here today that the fourth hokage, Minato Namakaze and his wife Kushina Uzumaki, have died in the battle against the nine-tail fox. Minato chose to sacrifice his life to seal the fox within his own child, Naruto Uzumaki, to protect the village," Hiruzen pauses for a moment causing the entire room to erupt into a renewed chaos as everyone tried to speak at the same time. After a few moments of attempting to restore order Hiruzen and several others from both councils are stunned at the audacious words of one civilian council member." Why don't we just kill the child now and be done with it, he's the prison to that blasted fox, two birds with one stone so to speak." Before anyone can react at the bold and foolish statement, a monstrous amount of killer intent can be felt aimed at the civilian. "I hope for your sake I misheard you, otherwise i might have to kill you for threatening my grandson," the figure says stepping out of the shadows to reveal Jiraya of the Sanin. He approaches the civilian grabbing him by the collar, visibly restraining himself from hurting the civilian. "Calm yourself Jiraya, I assure you nobody will be harming young Naruto," Hiruzen says glaring at the civilian council his own murderous intent leaking out. Jiraya releases the council member as he notices all the shocked faces in the room, but it was Mebuki of the civilian council to speak first." excuse me lord Jiraya, but did I hear you correctly, your grandson?" Jiraya lets out a heavy sigh. "It would appear as if my son never told anyone who his parents were, though that makes since. Yes, you heard correctly i am Minato's father, and in turn Naruto's grandfather," he says flatly, walking over and taking his grandson, a ghost of a smile on his face. Baby Naruto is awake now giving jiraya a gummy smile as he coos. Tsumi is the one to speak next." Who on kami's earth had a kid with you?" sha asked, shock heavy in her voice. Before he can respond a voice ring out from outside the council room, worry heavy in her voice." Where is he! You get out of my way!" The doors open to reveal Tsunade Senju, another of the Sanin. Her eyes scan the room and see jiraya. She makes a B-line for her former teammate. "Where is he, Jiraya I swear," she says before seeing the sadness in his eyes." I'm sorry Hime, but Mino didn't survive nor did kushina," he says as he passes her Naruto. Tsunade takes the child tears welling up in her eyes." although Maby you should meet your grandson, the only survivor." he says with a small smirk at her, now shocked at his statement. Hearing this the council chambers fall dead silent as the words sink in.
"For real you two had a child together!" Half of the shinobi council cries out at the sometime, that which the two Sanin ignored them. "Baby Naruto gives a gummy smile to Tsunade, babbling affectionately to his grandmother. "No more running Hime, the boy needs you just as much as you need him,' Jiraya says breaking her out of her focus on baby Naruto. "Your right, my family needs me," she states with finality. Thats when the pair notice a young girl walking up setting a pig down, stars in her eyes as she holds her arms out in front of her opening and closing her hands almost as if to say gime gime gime. Tsunade lets out a small laugh." would you like to hold your new nephew Shizune?" She asks with a soft smile. Shizune nods as the baby is passed to her. She walks away allowing the two councils to continue the meeting during which Tsunade accepts the title of fifth hokage. As the meeting ends mebuki approaches the two Sanin." excuse me but may i spare a moment of your time?" she asks, receiving confused glances.
"What can we do for you, though I'm not sure of your name, my apologies," Tsunade says honestly. Mebuki bows slightly before speaking." It's mebuki ma'am, and with your permission I'd like for my little Sakura to have an opportunity to make friends with Naruto, after tonight more than a few will not accept him, he will have a rough life. I want my daughter to know him as a person for herself without the rumors clouding her judgment," she states with a sad smile. The three adults look over to shizune who's still holding baby Naruto in the corner of the room." I think he would like that, thank you Mebuki," is all that jiraya says kindly, as they all begin to disperse and head home.
