"Oh boy! Again?" Recovery Girl said as she massaged her temples.

In a bed sat Izuku whose hands were shaking uncontrollably, his veins glowing green as they pulsated from his skin. As the nurse inspected his hands, his classmates were a bit nervous as they sat down except for Kinoko pacing around the room worriedly as mushrooms popped out of her clothing. "Um. I-is he gonna be ok? He's gonna be ok, right? I don't want him to be-"

"Hey!" One word from the old woman made the group quiet before she continued inspecting Izuku's hands. After checking his arms, the woman then lightly smacked his hands, eliciting a yelp from the boy before she turned to the group. "Calm your horses and sit down!"

Everyone did as told before Itsuka decided to speak up. "So-"

"His hands are alright!" The old lady tapped her cane onto the floor to silence the group. "He just overused his quirk again! His body is taking some time to get used to his quirk, especially since he's using his quirk very often. He could be experiencing a quirk breakthrough."

"A quirk breakthrough?" Everyone repeated before Monoma crossed his arm. 'So, I was right.'

"Yeah." Recovery Girl stated as she looked at Izuku who was checking his hands, feeling a bit of numbness from them but they were able to function properly.

"A quirk breakthrough or a quirk awakening to make things to be more precise. You see, when a quirk is trained to its absolute limits, there are times when the body becomes used to said power so in response to your body, the quirk factor becomes more refined and built. When this happens, for some, the quirk simply gets much stronger but for others, there are scenarios where more abilities or properties will be discovered from the initial quirk."

"Like a dual quirk?" Itsuka asked curiously.

"No." Recovery Girl shook her head as she walked to the window. "If that were the case, every person with a mutant quirk would be considered as someone who had a dual or triple or multi quirk."

"A dual quirk is initially developed as two powers in one. Plus, a person with a dual quirk has more than one quirk factor. A quirk developing new abilities and powers is not the same." Vlad said as he entered the room. "It's like a subset. Think of my quirk."

The tubes on his arms started to take blood from his body to his gauntlets, the man hardening the red liquid and transforming it into two spiky knuckledusters. "My quirk started out with me being able to control my blood throughout my body but as I trained with it, I reached a breakthrough and was able to harden it."

"Interesting." Izuku said as he took out his notebook, surprising his classmates. 'How does he do that?'

"There can be many ways a breakthrough can happen." Recovery Girl explained as she sat down in her chair. "However, one thing is for certain, the body has to get used to the quirk as it uses it."

"So, it's like quirk…puberty?" Tetsutetsu scratched his head, getting a nod from Monoma. "Are there any other heroes that went through this?"

"Almost all of us have gone through it." Their teacher spoke up with a smirk before he folded his arms. "It's why Death Arms decided to be a hero. His quirk went through a breakthrough on his construction job. What was considered his super strength made his muscles dense to the point where he's basically impenetrable."

"Really?!" Izuku said. He cannot say that his interest has not been piqued. He has learnt more about quirks here than he did all his time in class. His mind went to wonder as he looked at his hands. 'What will my quirk be like if I went through the same thing?'

"The only hero that I can think about that didn't went through this was All Might." Vlad thought aloud.

Everyone was surprised, the one being the most shocked was Izuku when he stopped writing in his notebook and looked at his teacher. "All Might's quirk didn't develop or made a breakthrough? So he was that strong from the start?"

"Yes, it was unreal. From what I've heard from my teacher, he just upped out of nowhere and got to the top with his powerful quirk." Vlad said with a nostalgic expression. "I heard he had to even hold himself back to not hurt anyone. He just had to get used to how to handle the quirk."

"Woah!" Izuku looked down to the ground with a pensive expression.

He knew All Might was a one of a kind but this made him more inspired. A part of him, his quirk analyst side could not hold back his curiosity as he looked at his hands. What can he do? What other abilities does he have? Would he be able to fly? Would he be able to lift objects with his mind? Are there other people whose quirks are strong from the start and barely develop like All Might?

'The possibilities are endless. Maybe I could...' Izuku started mumbling which gained troubled and worried looks from his classmates and teachers. During his mumbling, Monoma decided to break the silence as he processed the information that he heard from his teacher Vlad. "He's been that strong all his life. That's odd."

"Has it been the same for other students?" Itsuka asked curiously. "Like Endeavor the Hellflame hero? How ab-"

They all then heard a loud tap, turning to Recovery Girl's direction. "Well, that is enough of that. The kid is alright and needs to take it easy. Also, Kan-boy..."

She smacked Vlad's leg with her cane, getting a whelp from the teacher. "Stop overworking your students. This is one of the reasons I hate working with your students for the first year. So many accidents and visits."

The man rubbed the spot she hit before he spoke with a pained smile. "It's how I work. How are they going to handle the later exercises if I don't?"

"Have them be skilled at using their weapons and skills like Eraser." The woman answered which made the students confused before she turned to the teenagers. "Go and rest, dearie. You can join them at lunch time."

"Ok." The students of class 1B nodded before they left the room. As they left the room, Recovery Girl turns to Vlad with a stern look. "How much does the boy train, Kan boy?"

The Blood hero was surprised by the question before he spoke honestly. "The required amount that we train. 3 hours a day. Breaks included."

"Hmm. Keep an eye on him just in case." The nurse said as she looked at her papers, Vlad raised a brow before he nodded and left the room. After a few minutes of silence within the infirmary, the woman heard the doors open, seeing Toshinori who had a grim look on his face. "Recovery Girl. I'm going to need your help with something."

Izuku sat down in his usual table at the cafeteria for lunch, the verdette trying to move his arms but he's experiencing difficulty as his hands quivered in pain.

"The hell is wrong with your hands, Zuku?" Denki raised a brow as they watched the boy struggling to eat his food with a crooked smile. "I'm ok…"

"He overdid it at the exercise today and know his hands are damaged." Itsuka blurted out, much to Izuku's dismay. Mei was surprised by this as she turned to him. "What about my babies?"

"They're ok." Izuku answered, lifting his gauntlets. "Just a few scratches but they're still working."

"Oh, thank goodness!" The mechanic said as she grabbed the inventions on her own and rubbed against them lovingly. They all shared a laugh and continued with their lunch, Izuku wondered about something as he searched on his phone which did not go unnoticed by Hitoshi. "What's up? All Might took out another group of villains?"

"Well, yes. But there's something else I'm looking for..." Izuku said as he checked his phone.

"Like what?"

"Yeah. If we were to go to Recovery Girl's explanation, a quirk is supposed to be from a quirk factor. It means that it has to grow while you grow or use it, even when you're a late bloomer. Since there is no starting point, it could be that his body was at its brink or the quirk was storing up energy like a battery and then when he started using it, it's like he resumed it like transferring a previously game file for the last person who played."

As Izuku mumbled that, all eyes were on him in the room before Itsuka put a hand on his forehead. "I think you need to rest, Midoriya. You're obviously not thinking straight. That's the meaning of a stockpile quirk and All Might's quirk does not look like that."

"But-"

"Maybe you were hit harder than we thought." Ochaco said with a worried tone as some of them told him to go home and rest. "Plus, there are plenty strong students throughout the history of UA."

"Yeah! Also, if you want another example, think of Todoroki from our class. That dude's strong as hell." Denki chimed in as he ate a burger, the students of class 1A nodded as Toru spoke up. "And then there's Inasa as well. I think you need to rest, Zuku."

"I'm alrigh-"

"Sleep for the rest of lunch." Hitoshi commanded which made Izuku froze before he put his head down on the table and fell asleep.

"It cures insomnia! That's cool. What is your quirk?" Mina said energetically at the purple-haired teen who answered with a shrug of his shoulders. "Brainwashing. Don't know much about it since I barely use it."

"That's a nifty quirk." Itsuka said with a worried expression.

"And a headache to go against." Kyoka mumbled, Denki patting her back with a smile. "It's ok. It could have been worse. At least you didn't have to spar with Bakugo or Todoroki."

Ochaco and Toru shuddered in fright when they heard his name. "Poor Sero."

"Well, at least he didn't get it as bad as Tetsu. He won the fight but lost the war." Itsuka said which made everyone looked at her confuse. "He had a fight with our Shishida. It was not pretty."

"I hope he didn't have to go through that while having to save someone." Denki thought as he cracked his neck. "Momo isn't flashy but her skills are no joke. My heartbeat rises anytime she picks up a sword. And she's just good overall, even in rescue lessons."

"Hold on! You guys have rescue lessons now?" Itsuka raised a brow, the students of 1A nodding. Seeing this, the orange haired girl could barely hold in her jealously when she bit her finger. 'Lucky.'

"So, you guys get to do hero exercises like catch and destroy, stealth exercises and more?" The class president of Class 1B asked, getting nods from the 1A students which made her more jealous as she looked to the side with a dejected expression. "Wonderful...we only get quirk training exercises...and nothing more."

"I mean I wish I could get more quirk exercises." Ochaco said while poking her food before she put down her fork. "I'm kinda in a slump right now. I need a better way to fight while using my quirk."

"I think you're doing alright as you are." Toru said until she put a hand on her hand. "I was wondering how I can fight better too."

"Why not try out some martial arts?" Itsuka suggested to the gravity girl, the question made her look to the ground with a worried expression. "How will I know which one is perfect for me? I don't want to waste any time or money to do something that I'm not compatible with."

"Hmm. You low on money or something?" Itsuka said, Ochaco had a blush before she spoke in a whisper. "I guess you could say that. I'm looking for a part time job."

"Really? Why not try to see if Zuku's workplace is hiring?" Toru said which got the brunette's attention. "I saw that they have a hiring sign. So, they should be-"

"I'm in!" Ochaco said with no hesitation, her tone surprising the group. Toru then raised her hand. "Are you su-"

"YES! YES! YES! YES!" The brunette said, the group almost think that they saw her with a glowing pink aura, Toru blinked innocently. "Ah, ok."

"After lunch, the Tsuki cafe awaits!" Ochaco said which made everyone share a laugh as they cheered for her.

"How are you feeling today, Bakugo?" Ryo's voice echoed through the room, his words unheard when Katsuki simply folded his arms with an angered expression. "Hmph!"

"Bakugo." The man let out a sigh as he stood up from his desk and approached the explosive blonde. "Holding back your emotions is not good for you, Katsuki Bakugo. You must speak your mind."

"Huh? What's it to you?" Katsuki said with his arms crossed as he scoffed and turned to look out of the window, making the man let out another sigh. "Bakugo. You should understand the situation that you're in. One wrong move and you're out of this course."

"I know." Katsuki said, his eye twitching uncontrollably. "I...know..."

"Then why is it that Midoriya's presence make you so mad?" Ryo stated his question. Hearing the verdette's name made him furious as his palms unleashed small explosions, a look of pure anger etched on his face.

"That bastard...should not be here...he is useless...quirkless...beneath me..." Katsuki said as he shook uncontrollably, his blood boiling as the explosions got bigger. Ryo threw him a ball which surprised the blonde as the man told him. "Squeeze it and attack it when you're angry. It's a modified stress ball. Able to tank your explosions."

Katsuki scoffed as he unleashed his explosions onto the ball which did nothing as it was unscathed, much to the blonde's surprise before he smiled. "So the bastard's sturdier than I expected?"

"Enough of the ball. You were going to answer the question." Ryo said as he went back to his seat with his gaze. "Continue."

"Tch! What's there to explain?! He should not be there because he's a quirkless loser! He's like a glitch! He's breaking the system!" The blonde said as he let off his explosions on the ball and gripped it with all his might. "This is a school for the best of the best! Why is someone like him here?! If he was at somewhere like Shiketsu community college, I understand and I think even that is a stretch!"

Ryo stayed quiet as he listened to the blonde letting out his feeling about his green-haired classmate from their sister classroom.

"Since his birth...that bastard is useless..." Katsuki folded his arms before he glared at the guidance counsellor. "Yet here he is. I can't believe he got through. Did you all weaken the robots he faced? Did you bend over backwards for him? Why did he pass? I can't believe he passed!"

"Why do you believe that?" Ryo said with a hint of confusion, seeing the anger coming back to the blonde's face. "Why can't you accept that Midoriya came into this course with his own effort?"

"I don't know anymore! He had been useless all his life! Auntie Inko or Uncle His-" When he was about to say that name, he felt an immense pressure which did not go unnoticed by Ryo. "What's wrong?"

Katsuki snapped out of his trance before he looked to the ground, his expression mellowing before he decided to keep quiet. "It's nothing."

"Are you su-"

"It's nothing! It's none of your business!" He shouted before he looked to the ceiling. "Are we done now?"

"Alright, let's end it at that today. We're going to go and do an hour of community service before you go home." Ryo said as he got up and went to the door, waiting for Katsuki who passed him as he kept the door open. The two of them reached at the back section of the college to find two males who were cleaning the campus, one of them turning their fingers into tentacles to pick up the discarded items and the other person was attracting metal cans and plates to them while he was sweeping.

"You're going to clean up the place by picking up trash along with them. No powers." Ryo said as he went into the janitor's room and gave Katsuki a pair of gloves, a trash bag and a pick-up stick. "Get started."

Clicking his tongue, Katsuki grabbed the items before he turned around, his hands letting out a few small explosions. As he was about to move, Ryo informed one of the janitors about the blonde's involvement with their work as they went to him.

"Hello there."

"Happy to see someone lend a ha-"

"Screw off." Katsuki said before he put on his gloves and went to do his work. "You don't tell me what to do."

"I'll keep an eye on him. Just tell me what he needs to do." Ryo stated which the two men agreed to as he commanded for Katsuki to do his work. While he was doing his work, the blonde heard snickering from the students that were passing by him. "Damn it all to hell!"

"Blame yourself for this." Ryo stated as he kept watch on the raging blonde. "You need to understand the weight of your actions and the consequences of your actions."

Gritting his teeth, Katsuki's shoulders twitched uncontrollably as he continued doing his community service until his time was finished. The janitors congratulated him for a job well done before they went to another place of the college.

"Do you see how hard they have to work despite their job being what it is?" Ryo said as he looked at Katsuki who said nothing as he got up and put his hands in his pockets.

"You can keep the ball. If you continue acting like this, you may end up doing something that you will regret." Ryo said before he left Katsuki to his lonesome, the blonde scoffing as the man turned to him. "We will meet again tomorrow."

It was another day in the junkyard in Kawasaki, a bunch of soda cans lined on a vehicle before they were all knocked down one by one. During the situation, Izuku had a tired look on his face, panting heavily before he continued. 'I can do this.'

After he finished his rounds, his arm began to emit smoke as it started twitching uncontrollably, the young man finding it hard to move it which made him furrow his eyes before he picked up his notebook. 'I guess six normal bullets are my limit on each hand. I can heal my arms and be able to shoot again in 2-4 hours to be able to shoot one Air Bullet but it takes a whole day to regain my full ammo. I can also shoot two full power Air Bullets but I won't be able to use my arms properly for the rest of the day. Well, at least it's better than how they were a few weeks ago or how I started this course.'

"I finally have more of an understanding of this quirk but I need to work on the activation time of this quirk. It's too long especially compared to everyone else. I need a whole minute to use my quirk." He mumbled while taking notes before balancing his pencil on his nose as he thought about his performance in his classes. "Plus, I need to work on my aim. Thanks to baseball, I have good aim but I need to learn how to aim with these gauntlets. Then there is the fact that my bullets have a limit to how far they can go so I can't use them willy-nilly, even when I want to close the distance."

Putting down his notebook, Izuku started to feel pain coursing through his arm as he tried to use his quirk. He noticed that they became much slower for him to move it around, the limbs quivering from his muscles being overworked.

'I wonder if I can shoot another now. Hope my arm doesn't explode.' The thought came to his head before he tried to use his quirk. 'Go beyond. Plus Ultra...'

Izuku lifted his limb and was about to use his quirk again but it made him grit his teeth as pain coursed through them, his arm feeling like they are about to explode. He then tried to turn the dial to 1 to see if he can shoot a gust of wind but the pain did not subside as he tried to use his power. 'C'mon. Work, arms! I can do this.'

His arm felt like it was on fire as veins started to pulsate around his arm but it did not do anything as he gave up and stopped using his quirk. Resting for a while, Izuku noticed the glowing veins on his arm, blood trickling from the end of his gauntlet which confused the teen.

Quickly taking off his gauntlet, he noticed the veins bulging on his arm and glowing, some of them starting to slowly spew blood. "Hatsume isn't gonna like this. I felt like my arms were about to explode. I might need to-"

Remembering his encounter with Katsuki and how helpless he was, Izuku felt frustrated at his weakness before he fired another blast, ignoring the pain coursing through his arm as he noticed several cans being knocked over and his hand now limp and numb. The verdette's eyes lowered to his bloodied limb, letting out a deep breath as he went to his bag.

'I'm not 'that name' anymore. Never again.'

He then wiped the blood off his hands as he took another note in his book. "Let's see what other things I can do."

Izuku then got up, about to practice using his quirk with a smirk on his face. 'I will never be beaten like that again. Ignore the pain and-'

"Hey kid!"

Izuku heard a voice, turning to see a man with short blonde hair who was dressed in a black guard's uniform. "Don't you know you shouldn't be here?"

"Sorry. I was...testing." Izuku tried to lie. The guard looked at him with a judgmental look before he let out a sigh. "Ok…sure…"

Izuku silently pumped his fist into the air before he heard the guard. "After you're don't 'testing'. Get out of here. And wipe yourself off. You look awful."

Izuku was shocked by the man who tipped his cap at him with a smile.

"And think of a better lie."

"Why did you attack him?!" Mitsuki's voice could be heard from outside the house. "Did I not told you not to attack him?!"

It was a few weeks after the confrontation between Izuku and Katsuki, the latter scoffed as he sat in front of his enraged parents. Mitsuki paced around the room to calm herself before she sat down. "You have no idea how pissed I was when I was informed about this at work! You're lucky I had to be away for a few weeks! Hell, you were lucky that you got off with this! In my opinion, this is just a slap on the wrist!"

Katsuki scoffed which made his mother grabbed him by the collar, her crimson eyes glaring at him. The woman shook her son furiously which made the blonde looked away in defiance which made his mother angrier. "You have no idea what you have done!"

"Tch! It's just Deku."

"What?!" Mitsuki said before Katsuki gritted his teeth in frustration. "Katsuki! You should not be attacking people in general! Plus, we told you to leave Izuku alone!"

"Who cares if he got hurt? I don't-" Katsuki was cut off when a fist collided into his face, making him fall out of his mother's grasp and hit the wall. The blonde turned to see his father standing over him, the light reflecting off his glasses hiding his eyes.

"What the? Why-"

"Katsuki." Masaru started as he descended on one knee, taking off his glasses and putting a hand on his shoulder. "I understand that you have a bad temper but you need to control yourself. There are times when things that you are not going to like is going to happen but you need to keep yourself together."

"Tch!" Katsuki scoffed which made Masaru let out a sigh as he pinches the bridge of his nose. "Get it yourself together. Leave Izuku alone, we made a promise with his father."

"A promise? What fucking promise?" Katsuki said in rage.

"For you and him to never meet again."

"Why the hell would I do that?"

"Do you remember how you have treated him in middle school and elementary school? Do you know why he changed schools? Don't you believe you have done enough damage?!"

"It's that bastard's fault for coming into the hero course! How I treated him was not different on how everyone else did!"

"Which is why that school reaped what they had sowed. And it's your fault that you now have to find yourself picking up the trash!" Mitsuki yelled at him, a look of pure anger on her face. Katsuki noticed her hands shaking as her expression changed to that of regret which made him confused. "That boy has gone through too much because of you and that school! He finally has the courage to move on and you want to put him back there again!"

Her grip on him loosened as her gaze fell to the ground, Masaru rubbing her back before he turned to a confused Katsuki. "Your bullying of Izuku and your terrible behavior in middle school was not forgotten. I told you that you needed to straighten up your act then and I thought that you have calmed down and become a better adult. It seems that I was wrong..."

Katsuki was completely angered by everyone being protective of Izuku which made him punch the ground. "But I did nothing wro-"

"Katsuki, it's a miracle that you have not been put into jail yet for this. This is a serious matter." Masaru said as he picked up a crying Mitsuki as he escorted her to the kitchen. "Remember you're an adult now. Grow up."

"Another time again?" Recovery Girl shouted, her shoulders shaking in anger as she saw Izuku covered in bruises. "I'm sorry, Recovery Girl."

Izuku found himself in the infirmary with Vlad and Recovery Girl as the latter was berating him on overworking his body.

"It's the third time this week!" The woman shouted at the boy who was wincing as he moved his arms. The woman sighed as she tended to his wounds and gave him an energy drink. "Boy, what were you doing?"

"I was training and owowow-" Izuku grunted in pain as she inspected his muscles and squeezed his arm. "You felt that? You're training your body too hard!"

"Don't worry, I'm used to this. It's normal." Izuku waved it off before the woman got up and let out a sigh. "Use your quirk through your hands."

Izuku raised a brow before he stretched his arms and used his quirk, the teen feeling a sharp pain in his arms.

"Stop." Recovery Girl said, seeing his hands trembling as he rest them. "Your body can handle so much. You need to take it easy."

Izuku looked at his hands, remembering Katsuki's words which made him frustrated as he wore a determined expression. "But I'm behind everyone. I need to train hard enough to catch u-"

"Your body is under physical stress! You need to rest!" Recovery Girl shouted at the vendetta, waving her cane at him. "What's the point of all that training if you break your body beyond repair?! Your body has a limit! Your body has a limit too!"

"But-"

"Midoriya." Vlad put his hand on Izuku's shoulder, his expression being a serious one. "You should understand that at the end of the day, a quirk is not some magic. It's a muscle and just like all muscles, it can be messed up if you train too hard."

Izuku thought about his situation before Recovery Girl let out an annoyed sigh. "Dearie, I know you want to prove yourself and that's admirable but you can only go so far. Plus, your body is getting used to your quirk. When you're unable to use your quirk again, listen to your body. Even the most powerful of quirks have limits."

Izuku balled his fists and was about to retort but Recovery Girl slammed down her cane on the ground before pointing it to Izuku. "I won't be here forever to heal your wounds and even then, you're too reliant on overworking yourself to get better."

"I-"

"Don't think I don't know that you were training harder than the rest of your classmates and knocking yourself out throughout Kan-boy's classes and even before and after classes to get ahead."

This surprised his teacher who turned to him. "Is that true, Midoriya?"

Izuku reluctantly nodded which surprised the teacher. Vlad was about to speak before he took a moment to compose himself and think as he looked at his student. After a moment, he opened his mouth to speak. "Midoriya. What would you do if you were to fight a villain roughly twice your strength? Are you going to dig deep in yourself and try to amass some power that you're never been able to do or are you going to flee?"

"Huh?" Izuku looked at him before he thought for a moment. "I'd fight. People's lives are in danger."

"Hmm. Interesting answer." Vlad said, nodding his head. "But why not flee with the people that you're trying to save?"

The green-haired young man's eyes widened when he heard that before his teacher put his hand on his shoulder.

"There's training hard and breaking your body. Just as there is blind heroics and thinking smart. Not every quirk is geared towards combat. You could be a rescue hero, a stealth hero but know this. Things do not come immediately, it's a process. When you fight someone stronger than you, there is no shame in running away because at the end of the day, our job is to protect the innocent. Don't you forget that."

Hearing his teacher's words, Izuku looked at the floor with a troubled look. Recovery Girl kissed the boy on his forehead which made him heal as he started to get a little groggy as he saw the woman walk away from him.

"This will be the last time, Midoriya. You will be nursed only after class exercises and unforeseen accidents. You need to take care of yourself. You can go home."

Izuku did as told as he left the infirmary, his bag over his shoulder as he walked down the hallway. After a while, Izuku realized that he is on the train that leads back to home, his arm pulsating in pain as his thoughts went back to Recovery Girl's words.

"I know you want to prove yourself and that's admirable but you can only go so far." Her words rung in his head, the teen lifting his hand and flexed, having a little difficulty in doing so.

'She...has a point...' He thought until he remembered his fight with Katsuki, memories of his bullying from the past came up when he heard the blonde's word, his face etched in anger and determination. 'But I can't give up now. I'll prove them wrong.'

He balled his hands into fists with a look of frustration, he then departed the train when he heard that he has reached his destination. Getting out of the train station, he felt the wind hitting his body before his body was riddled with aches and pain which made him decide to take a seat by one of the benches in the station. Izuku looked up to the sky, looking at his hand before he used his quirk which made him feel nauseous and have a headache.

'Ughhh.' He groaned exhaustingly, clutching his head as his vision started getting blurry and he started feeling nauseous. 'Ow! My brain feels like it's going to break out of my skull. I feel like I'm going to vomit. I'll take a rest here.'

"Bunny waiter?"

Izuku turned to see the masked, blonde girl that usually goes to his cafe, her outfit this time being a black hoodie with a cat logo on the chest along with black tights and purple shoes. She looked at him worriedly before she ran away, much to the verdette's shock but the pain surging through his brain made him unable to fully process what happened.

'I'll...talk to her the next time...she comes to the cafe. Right now...I'll...sleep...' Izuku's eyes slowly closed as he fell asleep. After a while, he felt a cold sensation on his cheek which made him jump up, the teen turning to see the same girl in front of him with a can of soda in her hand.

"Here. You look like you need it." She said, Izuku took the beverage as she sat beside him. He then drank the juice as he leaned back, letting out a huge sigh of satisfaction.

"What are you doing here?" The blonde girl asked, Izuku looked up to the sky while massaging his temples. "Just resting...for a while. I have a headache...due to this...assignment I'm taking and I'm not exactly getting anywhere."

"Hmm. Basically, you're at a dead-end? That's annoying." She put a finger on her chin. Izuku nodded as he put his hand over his face, which helped to soothe his headache. "Yeah. I've been trying hard but everyone is telling me to quit it but I can't...they're all so far ahead of me and I need to pick up the slack. I can't afford to slow down."

"Hmm." The girl listened intently.

"I guess...I just really want to prove them wrong." Izuku said as he rubbed his hair and gazed at the sky. "I don't want to be left behind anymore..."

"Working harder is admirable..." Izuku heard the blonde girl share her thoughts. "...but it does not mean you're gonna get results all the time."

The verdette stayed quiet when she said that, simply drinking his juice. "Hmm. But I don't want to be left again..."

"You know what happens when I have a writer's block?" She said as she leaned back in her seat and fiddled with her fingers. "I take a rest. Put my mind off things. Do other things for some time."

"Look at you. You look like you walked a mile. I'm surprised you're able to stay awake." She said, her blue eyes sparked with worry which made Izuku blush a little. "When was the last time that you took a nap?"

"Apart from a moment ago, a while..."

The girl gave him a poker face before she folded her arms. "You need to sleep. Plain and simple."

"Bu-"

"No buts." The blonde girl said as she folded her arms. Izuku looked at the ground which made the girl pat his back. "Who knows? After that, you may be able to think clearer. Maybe you'll get ideas for your appointment during your breaks. Maybe you need to ask for help."

"Maybe..." Izuku thought aloud, his headache clouding his mind but he is still able to hear her voice. Seeing the verdette's expression, she looked at him for a while before she turned to him. "You sure that's it?"

"Huh?" Izuku raised a brow at the girl who gave him a worried look, her eyes almost seemed like they were looking into his soul. "You seem more rattled than usual. Did something happen?"

"Oh. You noticed, huh?" Izuku said before he took another sip of his juice, wanting to forget everything about his confrontation with Katsuki. "Just a bad run in with someone."

"I'm guessing that is the person that you want to prove wrong, right?" The girl guessed which surprised him as he looked at her with wide eyes that she noticed. "On the money?"

"I...guess?" Izuku said dumbfounded before she put her hand on his shoulder. "It's like you told me. It's good to want to prove people wrong but as your senior, let me inform my cute junior that he should sleep and take a break by any means necessary."

"Ok." Izuku nodded which made her happy before she heard her phone ringing, reading a message before she got up. "It's time. I gotta go."

"Oh, uh...bye!" Izuku said as she waved happily at him. "The next time I visit, you better get some sleep and look better, Bunny waiter~"

Hearing her say that made Izuku blush as she giggled and walked away, his mind wandered as he thought about his conversation with the blonde girl. The green-haired young adult stayed on the bench for a while, unaware of how much time has passed until he received a message from Naomi who was wondering if he is ok. Replying to the message, he finished the drink and got up, feeling a bit better as he went home.

"Maybe I need to break but what do I do now...how do I continue from here..."

Reaching home and going into his room, Izuku dropped his bag and fell to his bed, happy that he has a day off today and tomorrow. He wanted to move, he wanted to train but his body has reached his limit. He decided to give up, surrender to his body's desire for slumber as he closed his eyes.

"Maybe just a few minutes of shut eye will be good enough..."

Izuku's eyes shot open, the teen looking around and checking his time to realize that it's 7 AM.

"H-huh?" Izuku said before he started panicking and jumping out of his bed and preparing himself for school. As he got downstairs, he noticed that his friends were there, all of their eyes on him as Hitoshi walked up to him with a raised brow. "Hmm. You look better. Finally got some sleep."

"Huh?" Izuku blinked in confusion. "Isn't today a college day?"

Hitoshi gave Izuku a worried look before he sighed and put his arm around Izuku's shoulder. "You need a break. A big one. Hey, Miss Nao, you mind if we borrow Zuku for a while?"

"Yep! Just take him home by 9!" Nao shouted from the kitchen, much to Izuku's shock when his friends answered the woman and dragged him out of the cafe.

"We're going to have so much fun!" Denki said with a smile. Kyoka checked her phone with an excited expression. "I hope I can get to buy a guitar."

"Someone's happy about their bonus~"

"Shut it, bolt boy!"

"It's Kaminari! You can even call me Denki!"

"Hmm...nah."

"Alright, guys. Stop flirting!" Toru said as she pushed the two away from each other and going between them, unaware of the glares she received from the two. "We're not a couple..."

"I hope that we can get more of those puzzle games. I like those." Mei said excitedly, shaking Hitoshi and Izuku before she wrapped her arms around them. "Also, please tell me we're going to play that Gadget Gun game!"

Seeing his friends talking with each other, Izuku could not help but smile. "I guess it's time to take a break."

"You say something, Zuku?" Hitoshi said, Izuku shaking his head. "It's nothing. Now what did you say about that steampunk game, Mei?"

The group of college teens went down the street, their laughter and conversations echoing through the street.

It was night within the city of Tokyo, three people on the run as they entered into an alleyway, one of them clutching their wounded shoulder as he breathed a cloud of black smoke. Despite the wall of smokescreen they created, a bullet pierced through the smog and hit the other villain in his leg which caused him to fall.

"Damn it! The heroes got us!" He said as he tried to get up and move, his partner putting him over his shoulder. The first villain then sped off, blasts of winds coming from his feet as his strides increased in speed. "We gotta get outta here!"

"Easier said than done. Especially with-" A bullet hit him in the head, knocking him out which caused his partner to panic. "Smoke? Smoke!?"

He could not do anything when a wire tripped him, trying to get up but he was stopped when a white cloth wrapped around his body and slammed him into a wall.

"Fuck..." He coughed before he noticed he can't use his quirk. "There's only one person this annoying."

He looked up to see a man dressed in an all-black armored outfit who landed in front of him, the man having a pair of yellow goggles and a mask on his face.

"Eraserhead..."

"if you know me, we can skip the formalities and cut to the chase. Why were you chasing that girl?" The hero said as he tightened his hold on the villain who started laughing. "Dunno. A job is a job. As long as I can get money, I don't care what I do. I don't know why that sicko want quirkless kids but I honestly don't care."

"He wants them so they're not getting killed?"

"I dunno. I do a job and I intend to complete it." As the villain said that, his body started to grow in size. Getting out of his bindings, he lashed at a shocked Eraserhead who dodged his strike before he leaped towards a light post. 'He transformed. How? Is his quirk a mutant quirk?'

"What's wrong, Eraserhead? Found your match?!" The villain said as he swung his arm, the hero dodging the strike that destroyed the light post by jumping on a wall and then towards the arm.

"Are you stupid?" The villain said as he went to grab the black armored man.

Quickly dodging his opponent's grab, Eraserhead wrapped his scarf around the fist before he struck the inside of his elbow which cause the arm to bend.

"You bastard!" The burly man said as he tried to punch the hero but within a moment, he noticed a flash bang in front of him. "What the fuc-"

The weapon exploded into a ball of light that blinded which Eraser capitalized on when he quickly leaped past the villain and landed behind him. Not missing a beat, he pulled his binding cloth with all his might, causing the villain to punch himself in the face which knocked him out.

"What on earth?" Eraser said as he took out his knife and a roll of tape and slowly approached the unconscious villain. "His quirk should be erased. Unless he has a dual quirk."

After tying up the villain in the cloth, the hero wiped his sweaty brow. "This is turning out to be much more of a headache."

"Indeed." He turned to see Snipe whose outfit is covered in dirt, the man dragging several unconscious bodies that are tied together. "Villain activities are on the rise and they're getting much stronger in the past few months. This is worrying."

"Yeah. We're going to have to train our students much harder to prepare for the worst." Eraserhead said until they heard sirens in the distance. "Perfect timing."

As they went to the police, they were unaware of a pair of two glowing eyes in the distance.

"Damn!" The eyes turned to the person beside them, the person scratching their neck when they saw the heroes and police driving off with the villains. "We couldn't get the target tonight. It was a failure!"

"Calm down, young master. It's nothing to fret over. We'll get them next time. It is best to learn from this mistake and make better plans for our future endeavors." The eyes said as they both watched some of the people walking down the street without any knowledge of their presence. "Fine."

"Plus we have some information we need to 'confirm' from our broker."

"Yeah, yeah." The hooded person said as he lifted a picture with two fingers which showed a photo of Izuku. "Weird kid. I wonder why he is so important."

"Unsure but we will know soon enough. It's time to leave." The eyes said before the duo disappeared into the darkness.
