OC is not going to be like his canon counterpart. Main changes are that he has raven black hair, bright amethyst eyes and fair skin. He is handsome and tall.
OC is going to be born in 280 A.C. The son of Daeron Dayne (Also an oc because in canon the fathers name isn't specifed). The nephew of Arthur, Ashara and Allyria Dayne.
The fanfiction is going to be based on the ASOIAF books and a lot of things is going to staybjn canon.
Because this is going to be a realistic fanfiction where its not cringe and super overpowered right away.
Its also going to be only the oc PoV. like how Martin does it. Buts its going to be written like a 3rd person timeline format.
Dont know the endgame, but as we write we'll see.
3rd Day, 4th Moon, 80 ' 200 years after Aegon's Conquest.
In the Dayne family Quarters within the ancient and beautiful castle of starfall. Lady Dayne gave birth to Lord Dayne's firstborn, son and heir.
Tufts of black hair dotted his head and bright beautiful Amethyst eyes opened. He did not scream, he was a silent boy who immediately latched to his mothers breast. Yet, it was not meant to be, as Lady Dayne died by sunset through birthing fever to Lord Daeron's grief.
She died after she gave her beloved babe's name. Edric. after a one of the best Sword of the Morning's that lived a thousand years ago. And other notable Dayne's that bore that name.
Ravens flew out to the Dornish lords and and to Prince Doran after a couple of days since his birth. So it begins.
15th Day, 8th Moon, 80 ' 283 years after Aegon's Conquest.
Edric grew out of infacy as a bright and precocious boy. walking at 9 moons old and saying his first words at ten. constantly advancing that it is right to be at his age. Hounding the library to read.
He is Lord Daeron's pride and joy and is all loved by the servents of Starfall and his Aunt's Ashara and Allyria, who treats him more of younger since her younger age. His famous uncle Arthur while not being able to meet him as he is a kingsguard knight also loves him.
Yet Edric's later infancy was lived through Roberts Rebellion. His family being squarely in the loyalist camp as Elia Martell, A Dornish princess is to be future queen and the Sword of the morning is fighting for Rhaegar.
Soon Death and tragedy was all that was gained with the loyalist defeated at the trident and Uncle Arthur died at some tower in the northern Red mountains. His Aunt Ashara threw herself from the tallest tower in the middle of Starfall, the Palestone Sword.
Edric's keen eyes can see the somber grief that was permeating throughout his home. His Lord Father Daeron especially when that Brown Haired warrior arrived with Dawn.
Still he was 3 name-days old and didn't understand that the death and loss experienced will affect him. Nor how it would it affect Lord Daeron's health for the worse.
