After the day at the mall with the girls my weekend went by pretty fast, I mean all I did was train with dad, on Monday I was ready to continue being bored by learning about suits, I mean it's not that bad but I it was getting tedious learning about every kind of fiber made, I made my way to my desk only to find a letter there who could have left that there, obviously not Momo nor Ochaco since they know I obviously can't read it, I paid no mind to it and put it in my backpack, Momo must have seen it since she lent to me a whispered.
"I can read it to you later if you want" as quietly as she could
"Sure, I would like that thanks" I whispered back and smiled
After we ended our brief talk a teacher came in, she was in her hero suit that I must said made me quite uncomfortable since it was kind of tight
"OH MY GOD! MIDNIGHT" the shortest boy of the class said "I have always wanted to meet her" he then started salivating which made me believe he was doing more than just "admire" her
"Ew" I said referring to the guy
"Good morning students, as you know I'm the pro hero named Midnight and I'm here to help you with one of the most important things of being a hero" she said
"Are we finally going to fight?" of course that was Bakugo he has an explosive personality, I chuckled at my own joke and for once he didn't react to me
"No, well not yet, first we have to decide what do you want to be called as heroes what you decide here will follow you for the rest of your pro life so I hope you pick well" our hero name... this early we get to chose what we will be called by other heroes, public, etc.? what do I want to be called?
Only then I noticed that everyone of us had a board on our desk so we could write our hero name
I was so immerse in my thoughts about how I wanted to be named that I didn't noticed Bakugo going to the front of the class and showing his board, I don't know what it said but by the class reaction I can say it was something either stupid or funny
"that won't work Mr. Bakugo, remember that whatever you decide to put in the board is not only how the press will call you, while on duty your friends, your partners, your family will also call you that so please give it a hard though before coming here"
After listening to Midnight nobody decided to go to the front scared that whatever we though were stupid, and everyone would laugh at us
20 min had passed before I got tired of doing nothing and walked to the front, I was embarrassed that I was in front of everyone but after breathing a little I showed my board to everyone and I got scared I was showing the wrong side of the board
"Earphone Jack, I guess it does suit you, it's easy to remember and unique, I like it, good job Jiro-san" Midnight said, and I felt like I could breath again
After me 1 by 1 everyone got up and showed their names
Ochaco went with Uraravity since it was a combination of her name and quirk, Momo decided for Creati based on her quirk alone, then there was Izuku he went with Deku because even if Bakugo used to call him that to insult him, someone told him it could mean something else entirely and I found that inspiring
After we all had a name Bakugo had to re do it like 3 times, we were told to put on our training suits, we were finally doing some physical training we were all excited about that
We were taken to a building and outside dad and All Might were waiting for us
"Today we will have the classic hero vs villain exercise, you will be separated by duos each group will have a task to either disactivate the bomb, or protect the bomb so it can explode, of course the bomb is fake so don't worry about that" Dad started
"for this first round as villains we will have Bakugo and Deku" oh we are starting tough here, they were ranked 1 and 3 on the first exam
"As for the hero team we will have Aoyama and Jiro" All Might said, great not only will I fight in an unknown territory, with a person I don't know, I will go against the tops of the class
"Guess we won't be stopped this time ears" Bakugo said, was he waiting for this?
"I have a name you know? Anyway, let's go so I can kick your ass" I simply said knowing that would make Bakugo angry
We were given 5 minutes to settle and think of a plan to either attack or defend
"So, what's your quirk" I asked my partner, if we wanted to have a chance, I needed to know everything we could do
"I can send the most expectacular and shiniest beam of light you can think of from my stomach, isn't it amazing?" was that it? Really, a shiny beam I guess it does damage maybe if not how would he have defeated the robots?
"ok... so what are the limitations of using it?" every quirk has a limit
"If I use it to much I puke" ewwww, ok I guess we can make some of it
"well mine surrounds around sound meaning I can create waves, sounds, at almost any kind of decibel, so I will locate them first with my hearing, when we are about to reach them we will have to think of what to do maybe one of us could be a distraction since I don't believe it's the wisest to confront them in the front" I bluntly said, it was true I don't believe our quirks are strong enough to stop them if we battle face to face
"I like your plan" he sounded scared, I guess he was thinking the same as me about theirs and our quirks
We didn't had more time to talk about our plan since we got the signal to start, we rushed inside and as soon as I could I plugged my jacks to the wall, it was actually pretty easy to locate them, thank god Bakugo is so loud but I could actually listen to their conversation
"Stop Kacchan, we are supposed to guard the bomb and stop them here we are stronger together" I could hear Deku say, I guess Bakugo wanted to look for us, we could use this in our advantage
"Shut up stupid Deku, I will show her once and for all that I'm the strongest fighter, she won't be able to evade me again!" ah so he was still mad that I had avoided his explosions, then I could hear he went away since a door opened and closed
"So I have good and bad news, the good news is that they are 3 floors up on the east end, the also good news is that they are not working together, the bad news are that Bakugo is looking for us" I told Aoyama, he seemed scared by that
"don't worry he wants to fight me, so what we will do is, we will go to the bomb trying to avoid Bakugo and then it will be a 2v1 fight so we will be able to get it, if we encounter Bakugo on the way there, go for the bomb, I will try and stop him" I said
He said nothing of my change of plan and we started making our way to the bomb, every one and then we would stop so I could listen to know where Bakugo was it was all going according to the plan but at some point I guess Bakugo remember what my quirk was and I was unable to hear him anymore so I had no idea where he was
"we have to move, fast" I told Aoyama as I new Bakugo was looking for us
We were so close to the bomb just a few meters before it when an explosion made me jump back
"there you are ears; you won't escape this time" I nodded to Aoyama letting he know that he must continue to the bomb
"you took your sweet time finding me Bakugo, you are as slow as always" I smirked, I was just making a distraction so Bakugo wouldn't notice Aoyama going away
"You will pay for that extra" he said
"try me" I replied ready to start avoiding his attacks
In the examination room Momo's POV:
"Oh no, Bakugo found them what will they do?" Mina said, I was nervous as to how will Jiro react to this, I don't want her to do anything stupid like confront Bakugo alone
Just as I was thinking that she nodded to Aoyama and she said something to Bakugo that made him angry, she was doing exactly what I didn't want her to do, fight Bakugo alone
"Is she really fighting him alone? Bakugo will destroy her!" one of the guys said
"Everybody keep calm please, trust your classmates and your teachers, if anything gets out of control we will step in" Aizawa sensei said, he was really calmed and I don't know how he can be, I mean I have seen him leave with Jiro, he must be worried for her
I was freaking out when Ochaco approached me and squished my shoulder "She will be ok; I don't think she would confront him if she didn't had a plan" I know she is right, but I can't calm my heart as it beats out of fear for her
Back in the building with Kyoka and Bakugo:
I started avoiding Bakugo's explosions which made him angrier than before if that was possible, but that gave me a chance to drove him away from the bomb since he was only focused on making damage to me, I was able to make us go down 1 floor
"Stop running away and fight me ears! don't be such a coward" he said launching yet another explosion in my direction
I didn't say anything, I didn't dare to lose focus I wouldn't be able to recover if I was reached from 1 of his attacks, I just hoped I could give Aoyama enough time to defeat Deku
Aoyama and Deku:
I can't believe Jiro is confronting Bakugo, even if we had plan this
*Flashback*
"I stopped hearing him so I guess he knows know, that means he will find us, when he does you must go for the bomb, I will try and stop him the longer I can but you have to go for it, if you touch it this test will be over and he won't have to attack me, I don't know if I can avoid him every time so I'm counting on you" Jiro said, I was scared, I remembered Deku had a strong telekinesis quirk and compared to that a shiny beam, how could I stop him, but I had to do it, for Jiro, for myself
*End of flashback*
I opened the door ready to confront Deku, as I was expecting he was waiting for me in front of it smiling like a villain
"Finally, you are here young hero, now let's begin the battle of your doom" ugh, I guess he entered the villain part a little too much
I was about to answer him when he used his quirk to launch me across the room like a rag doll, making me dizzy, oh boy this was going to be hard
Examination room:
"Aoyama! Resist you can do this" Sero said
"How could he fight the telekinesis? More with a quirk like his" Toru then said
I can't think of a way of how he could use his quirk as an advantage, this was bad for them, I guess Kyoka's plan was to distract Bakugo long enough for Aoyama to touch the bomb but I don't see that happening anytime soon
"That's exactly the main goal of the exercise to put you out of your zone of comfort, to push you through your limits, and to think outside the box, everyday we fight villains that prove us to do just that just to be able to save people and they will do the same to you, they won't even care if you are kids or not, so give all you have in there, your plus ultra" all might said
I guess he is right, we can't believe that every fight will be a breeze and that we will win every time, if that was the case many heroes would still be alive, but I have to wonder what would they do now, they still had 15 min to go
Kyoka and Bakugo's fight:
Bakugo's attacks started to become more frequent, I was having a hart time knowing where I should go next so when I turned left, I found myself cornered
"Tch, I messed up" I said to myself
"You won't be able to run anymore ears" Bakugo was getting near me with explosions on both of his hands, if you asked me, he fitted the villain part perfectly
"Well I guess it can't be avoided" I prepared my fighting stance ready to react to his attacks
He smirked and launched himself to me, I avoided his blasts, but I didn't react in time to his punch
I recovered from his attack and knew I had to counter attack now, I used everything I had learn with dad and blocked his attacks and waited for the times so I could punch him too, we both have gone like that for about 5 minutes when he landed a small explosion on my side
"now who is the slow one" he said
"it's still you" I said sending a sound wave to him strong enough to make him lost his balance, I recovered ready for his next attack
He growled at me and got up, he then stayed still for a second and said
"You know I had this done just for you" he pointed to his gauntlets, " my quirk is based on the fact that my sweat is explosive and I can generate it on command, this gauntlets help me store as much of it as I want" oh no, that means that he can make an explosion strong enough to drop the building on us
"don't look so scared Ears, you will the first to try it directly you must be honored, now die!" he must be joking, he then send it to me it was so big, I can't avoid it, I must think of something, I was not giving up yet, I had so much to give, to prove, I wanted to protect the people, people like my parents
"I WON'T LOSE!" I screamed as I launched the biggest and strongest wave I was able to do directly to his attack, the explosion it made send us both flying back, I crashed against a pillar while Bakugo crashed with the wall, I was disoriented, I must have hit my head because I was not able to use my echolocation properly everything was spinning, and I knew Bakugo was in the same spot since he hasn't come to me
Meanwhile in the examination room:
"She doesn't have where to run now, kero" Tsuyu said
"guess they will have to really fight now; I just hope he lets her live" Mineta said
"Como on Jiro, I know you can do it" I whispered to myself
When the first punch got in the fight some cheered for Bakugo but some of us were silent as to see what Jiro would do now
When I saw that she was fighting back, even landing some punches on Bakugo I was really proud, not everyone could say they did that, since even if he is annoying and explosive Bakugo was a really strong opponent
"oh my god she is actually doing it" Mina said
After some minutes Bakugo stopped and started talking with her with a maniac look on him pointing to his gauntlets, I don't know what he was saying but by the looks of Kyoka's face it was nothing good
He then pointed the gauntlet towards Jiro and sent an explosion to her but this one was bigger than anything he had showed us, it was so big I was sure Jiro couldn't avoid it
"KYOKA NOOOO" without thinking I let out a scream while my heart felt as if it was getting crushed, please god, let her get away from this
I saw Aizawa sensei and all might getting ready to intervene but just then Jiro yelled something to Bakugo and sent a wave as big as his attack when it clashed there was an explosion that cut the camara for a few seconds, I had never been so scared in my life
When the camara came back on we saw Jiro and Bakugo on the floor, neither of them was moving
"are they...?" Mineta started
Just when I was fearing the worst, they both moved a little like trying to catch themselves of the blast that they had taken, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding
"Are you ok?" Ochaco asked me, I noded my head, I guess she was as scared as I was because her hands were trembling
"Are you?" I asked
"yes, I'm just glad they are still, you know" she started
"Alive? Yes, I am too, I can't believe Bakugo would send that kind of attack in a close space he could have seriously hurt her or worse, what was he thinking" I was mad at Bakugo now
Aoyama and Deku's fight:
I was still getting thrown like a rag not knowing what to do, until the building shacked like mad which distracted Deku from me
"an earthquake?" he lost his focus enough to drop me and I took the chance to run to a pillar where he couldn't see me, I noticed when he was launching me that to activate his quirk needs to be in eye contact with his victim so if I hided well enough I would be able to reach the bomb
"ah so you noticed my weak point hero, that won't do you any good you know" Deku said as with his quirk he lifted a beam that was on the floor and sent it flying to the pillar I was in, I mean who would leave it there and why
I ran to the next pillar and he repeated the actions, I was trying to get near the bomb but I couldn't rush to it if I didn't want for him to catch me, the problem was that the pillars ended in the middle of the room so I wouldn't be able to get to it, unless... I smiled and calmly walked out of the pillar
"I see you are ready to give up hero" Deku said before graving me with his power but this time I was ready
Kyoka and Bakugo's fight:
Get up, get up now was all my mind was screaming, I knew Bakugo wouldn't stay still for much longer
Even if my muscles complained about it I got up and it was about time because Bakugo received me with a punch that made me back some steps, it was not as strong as his first ones so I knew he was injured too
Everything was still spinning but I managed to avoid some of Bakugo's punches and landed some of my own the problem came when he started using his quirk again, he did landed 3 blasts on my arms since I was able to block the attacks with them but now they hurt like hell and I was sure they were bleeding
I started attacking him with my quirk too since I needed him to be away from me, I would send waves to push him back but since that didn't stop him I send one in a pitch meant to incapacitate him, I knew it would hurt him but at this rate I couldn't stop him
My wave made him cover his ears screaming in pain but I still could see the blood coming out of them, I felt bad for him and stopped the wave but that gave him the chance even if he was disoriented since his eardrums had exploded to get up and point the glove at me again, this time I was not going to be able to stop it I knew that so I did my best to try to stop him by sending more waves at him
Aoyama and Deku's fight:
When Deku lifted me on the air and threw me to a side of the room I patiently waited till he threw me the nearest to the bomb as he would expecting me to just go as a doll
After some moments of flying from here to there my chance came and he threw me to the right of the bomb, that's when I used my beam to change the course of where I was flying I knew he was not expecting that
"This ends now!" I screamed as I was flying towards the bomb and I was able to touch it for one second before Deku stopped me in the air, the siren sounded again meaning that we had won I cheered and got ready to go and congratulate Jiro on how we had performed
"hey that was amazing Aoyama, I was certainly not expecting it!" Deku told me while extending his hand for a handshake, this guy is really sweet I like it
"You are really strong Deku I was so afraid it wouldn't work, but I had to try for Jiro's sake" I said
"speaking of her, please tell me she didn't confront Bakugo alone" he was also scared for Jiro as I was, we all knew the 1st of the class would be strong and with his temper well it was a time bomb and she could be seriously injured
"I'm afraid so, we were avoiding him but at some point we came face to face with Bakugo and she had no other choice, since she didn't want me to be involved I knew I would be hindrance for her so I went along with our plan" I explained to him
"I guess it's easier to fight alone than to worry about someone else but still, Bakugo power is rather destructive, we should go look for them" Deku told me and I agreed so we went to look for them
When we were outside the room, I must say I did not expect this kind of destruction it was too massive and even then they were not here
Kyoka and Bakugo's:
Just when I knew he was about to switch his attack the siren marked the end of the fight I didn't knew who had won and I couldn't care less at this point everything was hurting, but Bakugo did something I was not expecting, he did activate his quirk, not caring that the fight was over I was hit straight with the blast , I covered my face with my already injured arms, thankfully it was not the big explosion it was before, it was a normal one but it was still powerful enough to make me crash against the pillar again, but before I blacked out I could see how Bakugo also felt unconscious.
Aoyama and Deku:
After we heard the explosion we ran to it since we knew they would be there, I don't know why Bakugo had attacked after the end of the exercise but I knew I had to help Jiro if he was out of control
When we got to the room the explosion has started, Deku looked at me before opening the door letting me know that maybe we will have to fight to control them, I nodded my head and he opened it
There we saw an unconscious Bakugo bleeding from his ears, mouth, nose and with many injuries on his body and an unconscious Jiro on the other side of the room bleeding from her arms, mouth and head
"what the hell happened here" Deku asked
"I don't know but we must take them to the infirmary, can you lift Bakugo with your quirk?" I asked Deku, and he nodded
"ok then I will carry Jiro, let's get them outside" I said while lifting Jiro, I was surprised that she was really light, I mean she was really skinny so it was easy to carry her I was worried about her injuries they looked like they hurt a lot so I was kind of glad she was unconscious and couldn't feel them
Examination room:
"damn, he woke up, and not only that but he punched Jiro again, Bakugo is a scary enemy" Tokoyami said
"but Jiro won't go down with a fight" Ojiro said while pointing at Jiro that was punching Bakugo
Just then they all saw Bakugo use his quirk again while Jiro blocked it with her arms
"that must hurt, poor Jiro" Mina said worried
"Aoyama is getting out of his hiding it looks like he is hiding something" Mineta said
"oh wow, Jiro sent an attack that exploded Bakugo's ear look at the blood" Ochaco said
"Look at Aoyama" I turned to see him use Deku's quirk in combination with his as an advantage to catapult him towards the bomb letting him touch it and getting the signal that the exercise ended, I sighed of relief since Jiro had won
"oh no, he is not stopping!" Mina yelled and I turned so fast my neck cracked, there was Bakugo ready to blast Jiro again, but this time she was injured she wouldn't be able to protect herself he then activated his quirk I was glad that it was not as strong as before but it was a blast still, it landed Jiro and I saw her fly and crash with the pillar before falling unconscious, Bakugo did fall unconscious too but I didn't care about him, no he would listen to what I had to say
I was ready to get to the building to wake and yell at Bakugo when I saw that All might was restraining a very angry Aizawa his scarf had turned into this kind of looking snakes and his eyes were blood red, he was ready to kill someone I was sure of that and I also knew his anger was towards Bakugo
"Calm down Eraser head, you are going to hurt someone" All might say while struggling to contain him
"oh you are right, I'm going to make that kid wish she hadn't do that, he must respect the rules he could have seriously hurt her, even kill her, he will have to hear me" he then disactivated his quirk but quickly left the room to go to the building and I followed him
Once we were outside Aoyama came out with Jiro on his arms, she looked so small and fragile, I couldn't help but gasp
"Yaoyarozu-san could you please take Jiro to the infirmary?" Mr. Aizawa asked, I knew he wanted to be the one to take her, but he was still our teacher and had to do his job, so I nodded and took Jiro from Aoyama's arms and hurried towards the infirmary
Eraser head POV
"All Might please take Bakugo to the infirmary too, I will have to reprehend him later" I said, I wanted nothing more than to rip this boys head of his shoulder since he had hurt my baby, if only he had controlled himself not only would they both be here with only minor injuries listening to their good and bad actions, but he had to take it one step away
I sighed, why do I had to have a hot-headed problem child in my class
"ok so for you two come with me to the examination room" once we reached the room, I asked the class
"So, who would you say did good and who did wrong in this test?" they are stared at me thinking
"They all did good and bad, since Deku should had made more effort in making Bakugo stay so they could fight together but he also did good in defending his main goal that was the bomb, Aoyama did good in thinking of a way to use deku's quirk in his favor but it took him so long than his partner got hurt, Jiro designed the strategy that lead them to victory but she shouldn't have face Bakugo alone, more if she hadn't trace here scape rote to not get cornered like she did, and Bakugo did want to incapacitate his opponent but lost track that it was still an exercise that could have gotten his classmate killed because of him, did I miss anything?" Ochaco said
"No, you took the words out of my mouth, good job Ochaco, ok so let's continue our exercise, next teams will be Tsuyu and Tokoyami as heroes, and Mina and Ojiro as villains, get ready please" I told them to distract myself from the worry for my daughter
Momo's POV:
When I got to the infirmary I let recovery girl know what had happened with Jiro, she told me to lay her down on a bed so she could activate her quirk on her, after I did as I was told, she kissed Jiro's forehead and I saw how every wound she had disappeared it was like magic
"Thank you so much! I was really worried about her" I told her while bowing my head grateful that she had cured Jiro
"She will be fine darling, she just needs to rest you can end your tears now" I hadn't noticed I was crying because I was so worried but when I felt recovery's hand on my head I couldn't stop the flow of tears
"shhhh shhh it's alright darling, I know what it's like to have a friend injured, but now she needs you to be strong for her and greet her with a smile ok? Could you do that for her?" she said and I nodded while grabbing a chair so I could sit next to Jiro's bed, I was still cleaning my tears when All Might came in carrying Bakugo, he explained to recovery girl and she told him to do the same as I did so she could kiss Bakugo, after he was healed as well she seemed mad, and turned towards All Might and said
"What kind of exercise are you doing that 2 of your students got this hurt All Might?, I know times have changed but this kids are not made from rubble they get hurt you know, and when they do it's our fault" All Might seemed sad about it and nodded
"I know Recovery girl, we must have intervened before it got to this, I'm sorry" he then turned to me and said
"I'm sorry young Yaoyarozu, thanks to me your friend is injured now"
"She will be alright thanks to recovery girl, but please promise me that you won't let it get this far again" I pleaded
"I won't, I promise" he looked so sure about it and I trusted him
He then said his goodbyes and went back to the class, I refused to leave Jiro's side until she woke up, not caring if I failed the exercise
After what it seemed like an eternity to me but was only 30 min Jiro woke up
"Oh thank god you are ok" I said
"Momo? What happened?" she asked
"Well you won the exercise but Bakugo ignored the end alarm and attacked you both of you then went unconscious and had to be brought to the infirmary" I explained to her
"I see... then did I beat Bakugo?" I know she was trying to lighter the mood, but I glared at her even if she couldn't see me, now that I noticed... Where were Kyoka's glasses? When had they fell? Had anyone noticed?
"Don't scare me again Jiro, I don't like seeing you get hurt, also I'm sorry to tell you that your glasses fell, I'm not pretty sure when or where, I'm sorry" she said
"Sigh, I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later" she said while getting up
"What are you doing?" I asked
"Getting to class, we are still on an exercise" she said
"You can go to class darling but don't push yourselves too much it's never good" Recovery girl told us
and with that we went to class
"can I ask you something?" I found my self saying
"anything" Jiro said
"why don't you use a cane? Isn't it needed?" maybe I shouldn't ask that, but I was too curious
"eh, not really I don't need it since I can use my quirk to "see" almost as good as you can, I mean I can see your ponytail, your face, your hero outfit, that I must say it's a little reveling" she blushed at the last part, was she watching me with that detail?, just thinking about it made me blush
"I see, that's really cool Jiro" I said smiling
When we reached the class, everyone surrounded Jiro to see if she was ok
"*gasp* did Bakugo leave you blind?" of course the first one to notice was Mina
Everyone started launching questions to her and I could see it was making her uncomfortable, so I did what any sensible person do
"Shut the fuck up guys, give her some space Jesus" told you
"to answer you all no, Bakugo didn't leave me blind I was already blind, I just was not ready to tell you all, I don't want anyone to think less of me because of it, as I demonstrated today I can be as an strong opponent as any of this room, so I would love for everyone to keep treating me the same way as you were, thanks" and with that she went to the other side of the room not waiting for any reply, I followed her knowing that even if she sounded strong she was scared on how they would actually react
"you are amazing Jiro" she blushed hard at my words and smiled to me
"thanks, I just hope they can still treat me like a normal person you know?" she was really worried about that
"I don't think any of the guys will treat you as if you were less capable Jiro, I mean you did make Bakugo black out, and everyone is scared of his ability" I simply said
After that incident we didn't had anymore, when I had to take the exercise I was paired with Todoroki, I rolled my eyes at Mina who was giving me her thumbs up, he was handsome and really strong since it only took us 2 min to touch the bomb with me doing practically nothing I must admit but I was not into guys and my gaydar told me he was not into girls
When the exercise ended Jiro reached me and remind me that I had offered to read the letter of her desk to her so we went to a park near the school to not have everyone trying to know what was it about
"ok lets see...
Dear Kyoka
You are one of the most beautiful girls my eyes have been privileged to see, you are strong and smart which is always a bonus, I like the way you dress and speak even if you could appear as rude sometimes, so I was wondering if you would give this helpless boy a chance to give you the moon and more

Who the hell sent her this, I was jealous about the fact that Jiro had blushed at the words, I wanted to make the guy that had sent her this eat his words literally
"who do you think it's from?" she asked
