chapter 5
Jirou's POV:
The next day after our exercise everyone got silent when Bakugo walked into the room he had some bandages on his cheek, I don't know why Dad was never on time for class if I know for a fact that he gets to the UA early since we go to the school together but who am I to judge, I was doing my best to ignore the heavy atmosphere that was created but then Momo got up and actually slapped Bakugo, I was shocked she had done that more to Bakugo.
"You could have got Jirou badly injured, just because you couldn't control yourself" She was mad at him
"I know" was only what he said, I'm more surprised by the fact that he didn't fight back or made one of his usual comments
"Not only that, we could have lost her, we could have lost a friend! and for what, so you could prove to yourself that you are strong? We all know you are strong Bakugo, no one denies it but you do have a problem when it comes to controlling your emotions, you will never be able to be a good hero if you put the people on your side on danger" Momo said this with a stern look on her face, a seriousness I have never see her with
Bakugo didn't said anything to Momo but instead he went directly to my seat, I could see that everyone got worried for a second before he whispered to me
"I'm sorry you were hurt it was not my intention I just want to become the no.1 hero, I want to beat even All Might and to see that someone is better than me it makes me angry, but it can't be evaded you are really strong Jirou, I'm glad we are on the same team" he then extended his hand to me while smiling, I take it that this was our truce and shook his hand smiling as well
Everyone sighed of relief and smiled at us, Deku took the chance to approach Bakugo and said
"this is the Kacchan I know, now let's work together to become heroes" he put his punch Infront of him so they could bump fist I guess
"Don't try me extra, or do you want me to blow you" Bakugo said returning to his usual self and scaring Deku, I couldn't help but laugh this was going to be an interesting year
When Bakugo was on his seat Dad finally showed up with a pile of papers
"Good morning class, on the past days we have had our physical exams so today we will have our written exams, at the end of the day the results of both exams will be averaged and whoever are on the bottom 10 will have to do extra work for the next moth to catch with your classmates so please do your best" Dad then started passing the exams except of course for mine after everyone had their exam he gave me mine, not because it was an special treatment but because it was in braille, I can "see" with my quirk but I can't read because when the sound bounce on the paper and the ink all I get is a paper edges with stains on it, the exam took most of the day it was not an easy exam, I could feel Bakugo's eyes on me while I was "reading" my exam with my hands, I guess no one told him I was blind but I just hope he doesn't think it's his fault, I made a mental note to talk with him after the exam was over
At the end of the day I reached Bakugo alone so we could talk
"so how did you think you did on the exam?" I asked smiling
"Did... did I do that to you?" of course he would think it's his fault since no one told him
"No, Bakugo you didn't, I'm sorry no one told you since I didn't saw you when you got back from the infirmary but I have been blind for a long time, so don't worry about that, I can still kick your ass thought" I told him while smiling
"hahahah you wish Ears" he answered me smiling and pulled me into a hug "I'm just glad you are ok and that I hadn't done anything to you, I hope you can forgive me and we could maybe become friends?"
I had never seen this side of Bakugo, well I mean I have only known him for like a month, but it was refreshing, I could get use to this side of him
"of course, we can be friends Bakugo, I'm actually glad you want to be friends too, but how about we race to the entrance so I can prove you again that you are still the slowpoke here" I winked at him before running to the entrance laughing
"oh, you are on, Ears" I could hear him running behind me, at some point we passed the class and they started laughing at us and joined ignoring the looks we were getting from the other classes we were just having fun
I was the first to reach the gate I smiled and said
"guess you are as slow as ever hahahah, we should do this more often" teasing Bakugo, he just smiled
"hey look where you are going weirdos" a boy with a suit said
"we were just having fun sorry" I heard Momo said
"I see that for class A they let anyone enter now" he said while looking Momo from up to down "guess the top class will be class B since all I can see is low class outfits and that always reflects on quirks" he said while laughing like a maniac
"Watch your mouth asshole" I growled at him, no one and I mean NO ONE will disrespect my friends
"oh great you even have a noisy punk, I will call you weirdo queen since it fits you freak" I don't know who this guy think he is but he was getting on my nerves before I could say anything else Bakugo grabbed him by the collar and said
"I suggest you walk away from here, if I ever hear you call her that again or even see you glance her way I'm going to blast your face off" even if the words were meant for me, Bakugo's stance and face made it clear he wasn't joking, that seemed to scare the boy but he quickly recovered
"I guess the weaklings have to stay together, no matter..." he couldn't finish what he was saying since one girl with long hair tied on a ponytail approached us and with a big ass had knocked him out
"I'm so sorry for the distress he has caused" she bowed "My name is Itsuka Kendo and the trouble you had to deal with name is Neito Monoma, again I'm sorry for his actions I don't really know what he has against your class I can see you are all nice and were just having fun while we can so please ignore him" she was a nice girl, I felt sorry for her to have to deal with a guy like that
"It's all good don't worry about that, there are always someone like him so, but maybe we could do something together all of us, to get to know each other and why not become friends, do you think class b would like that?" I asked her
"I don't see why they wouldn't like it and I think it's a great idea maybe then this guy will see it's not a competition between us" she said while carrying him with her fist
"what about you guys would you like to do something with class 1-b?" I asked everyone, and everyone gave me their thumbs up
"ok but if that guy tries to insult you again, I will blast him off" Bakugo said
"what about going to the cinema?" a girl with bindweed like hair said approaching us
"I think that's an amazing idea Shiozaki-san, would you guys like to go to the cinema this Saturday?" Kendo-san said
"Well count me in" I said, I can't really "see" movies, but I can always listen to them and this activity is about getting to know each other
One by one the guys said they were in, but they added that maybe we should go to eat first to talk and get to know each other since in the cinema you are not supposed to talk.
Shiozaki-san and Kendo-san agreed and told us they would tell their class so we could all meet at 1pm at the mall after agreeing on our meeting we all parted ways and Momo reached me
"thanks for defending me from him" she said
"nothing to thank the guy was being an asshole to you and no one treats my friends like that" I answered
"You consider me as your friend?" she said smiling
"Well yes, I mean you are always nice, you worry about me, you are always there if I have trouble or if I ace it so why wouldn't I?" I simply said
"I'm so glad you think of me as a friend since I think of you as a friend too" she said smiling and clapping her hands together
"you look really cute when you are happy" wait a second did I said it out loud? Dang it brain
Momo blushed like a tomato "thanks" was all she said, and I was in panic what if she took that the wrong way, what way was it intended? Damn you brain
I decided not to say anything else so I don't mess things more, I just smiled at her and was glad that dad was actually coming out the building so I tell Momo my goodbyes and ran at dad
"please please let's go, fast" I told him
"I get that something awkward happened between Yayorozu and yourself, right? I want the details when I reach home" he said teasing me
"I refuse" I said
"oh Yayorozu-san" he said calling her
"you are evil, ok I will tell you" I whispered to him
"did you call me sir? "She said still blushing
"oh I just wanted to congratulate you on how well you did on the written exam, I will give you your results tomorrow, but maybe you could help miss Jirou here sometime" of course he would take the chance to humiliate me even more
"I would love to do that sir, thanks" she smiled, bowed and left
When we reached home, I told dad the fantastic thing my brain had done while I was talking with Momo and he couldn't stop laughing, this is why I never want to tell him
"hahahah so you were betrayed by yourself, hahahaha don't worry Kyouka honey I'm pretty sure Yaoyarozu didn't took it the wrong way by the look on her face I would even say that she liked it" and with that it was my turn to blush
"now get ready for bed, tomorrow we will discuss how well you all did on the exams"
I said goodnight to him and went to take a bath before going to bed
The next day in class Jiro's POV:
"Good morning class, today we will have your results I will be calling you by your results on the written exam I will be calling you from better to worse" oh this man is evil to the core
"First, Yaoyarozu Momo-san" I smiled at her and whispered "good job Yamomo" it was an accident I was trying to call her Momo but it got mixed, she smiled and whispered back "thanks, I like the nickname you should keep calling me that if you want" she stood up and went for her exam, to my surprise the second one called was Bakugo, I was called 5th so It was not that bad after we had our written exams given it was time to see how well we did overall Todoroki of course ended first, I was second and Bakugo was third I was happy with my result we even got to know that Bakugo should had been first but he was penalized by the exercise we did, Momo ended on the 10th place and was having a hard time with that I could see, I could read her, she was on over herself on how if her quirk was stronger she would be on a higher place so I took the opportunity to try and cheer her
"Hey Yamomo, I was wondering if you would help me study, Mr Aizawa was right I do need the help, so would you?" after I asked her, some of the others joined my petition like Mina
"Could you help me too? I do need it if I don't want more extra charges than I already will have" she asked
"Me too please" Ochaco said
"yes, please I could use any help I can get" Sero joined
Momo blushed but her eyes shined letting me know she was feeling better
"of course, I can help you, we could all meet at my house to study today" Momo said smiling
After classes we went with Momo to her house and I mean I know she came from a renown family by her comment on the recommendation, but I was not prepared for her to live on a mansion
When we entered the house Momo guided us to a room that was big enough to fit my whole apartment and asked us what type of tea we wanted, we end up choosing jasmine tea, after studying for a while we end up talking about other stuff and I end up getting to know more about Momo how her favorite tea was in fact the jasmine tea, her favorite flower and color were the tulip and orange before we all left we heard Momo's Mom tell her that she had a study session later, no wonder why Momo was this smart, I was the last one to leave that afternoon and before I did so I had to ask
"if you don't mind answering, what are you studying in the afternoon?" it was an innocent question
"well you see my quirk is that I can create basically anything if I know it's composition so to do that I need to study and learn more about it to an extreme level or I wouldn't be able to reproduce it, or if I managed to do it, it might not work properly" she answered
"oh wow, your brain must be huge to storage and understand it I would be never be able to do that, you are amazing Momo" I answered truthfully
She blushed *gosh I love making her blush* "thanks Kyoka, that's means a lot to me coming from a friend and the 3rd of the class, you are really strong so I hope I can be as strong as you" she smiled warmly at me and it was my turn to blush
"then I guess it's time I leave, I will see you tomorrow Yamomo" I said before heading to my home
After those events the week went by pretty fast till it was time for our gathering with class 1-B I was a little anxious of meeting a lot of people even if I was the one to suggest it, but it seemed that everyone was pretty nice
At 1:05 (you know we had to wait for Mina 5 minutes) we started our greetings I was surprised when I was the first one to speak
"hello, my name is Jirou Kyouka and I love music" after my example they all said their names and a hobbies of theirs, I got to know Deku likes to read, Bakugo likes to hit the gym which didn't surprise me, Momo liked to make tea, Ochaco liked to draw, Mina liked to dance, and the list went on and on
By the time we have reached the restaurant we had formed little groups of people with similar taste and were comfortable talking when we got sited I end up on the corner next to Momo and in front of me was Kendo-san and Tokage-san, we were comfortably talking till it was time for our movie I hadn't paid attention when they had picked the movie and of course it would come back to bite my ass since it was an scary movie, even tho I can't see the movie the sounds were enough to make me shiver I was glad that I was sitting in the middle of Ochaco and Momo so when I involuntary grabbed their hands they didn't seem to mind and even squished my hand as reassuring me it was all ok.
When the movie was finally over, I couldn't be gladder I was sure I was going to have nightmares, I didn't even notice I was shaking till Yamomo hugged me and whispered me
"it's all ok darling it's just a movie, nothing is real" and she grabbed me by the hand and lead me out of the cinema
We had been holding hands for a while and I was feeling a lot better
"it was a pleasure to have this meeting with you guys, it was also a blessing that Monoma couldn't join us, I hope we can repeat it someday" Kendo-san said
"it was our pleasure, have a safe way home" I said smiling at them but also kind of sad that the day was over, and I had to let go of Momo's hand
"so, I guess this is it for today, I will see you on Monday Kyoka, have a nice weekend" we had to say our goodbyes and we went home
At home I was meet with dad and the one and only all might they were talking about the classes and our class; I didn't want to interrupt so I said goodnight to them and went to my bedroom to sleep
"I guess we have a plan for the next training, we need to contact 13 he is one of the best at rescuing it would help the kids to learn that there are many types of heroes and that no one is better than the other and for that I think this will be the best path" Aizawa said
"then if you contact 13, I will reserve the space so we can actually train there the next Friday" All might said
"then it's settled let get to work, thanks for coming all might I will see you on Monday" Aizawa said
"thanks for having me and thanks for listening to my proposal on you know what" All Might said
"it's not a problem, we can discuss it again anytime, I hope you have a safe way home" Aizawa finished before leading All might to the exit
Somewhere in Japan:
"I have gathered enough information about our target, what he does, what he eats, who he surrounds with and the class he teaches to, I will send it to you, I did also found they will have a drill exercise this Friday I believe it would be the perfect time for your attack" a voice said
"please bring me the details, you know where to find me, this time he will be defeated" another voice said
"I hope you are prepared for what is coming to you all might, we will see each other sooner than you think" and with that he let out an evil laugh that would send shivers to anyone
