Jirou's POV
Ever since I got back from the internship everything has been going great, I have a beautiful girlfriend, my dad lifted my punishment as soon as I got home, even if he has complained about the fight with the hero killer
Of course he had been told the truth about what happened in Hosu after all he was a pro hero and my dad so he had to know as Endeavor and Iida's parents did
Since it was the Sunday after our sleepover with the girls I made plans with Yaomomo to meet at the mall and go for an ice cream, while we were waiting in line for our order 2 adults approached us
"you girls are from class 1-A of UA right? You guys are amazing we saw you at the sports festival, I was a little disappointed when you didn't fight back in the final and lost because of that, I was cheering for you Jirou-san" one of them said, it was weird that someone had come to us in the ice cream shop and it was even worse that they knew my name
"Yes we are students of the UA, thank you for your kind words" Momo said and we could listen to the whispers behind us
"Class 1-A? wasn't it the class that got to fight the villains when they were doing a drill exercise?" someone said
"I hear that even if the news said Endeavor had saved the day at Hosu capturing the Hero killer it was actually some students from that class, could they be that strong?" someone else said
"No wonder why class 1-A were all tops on the sports festival, do the other schools or even classes have chances of become heroes if they are in the picture?"
It was getting annoying first of all we didn't want to fight the villains in the exercise they have attacked us and we had been caught in the middle, hell even my dad has been seriously injured that day, on the sports festival we had to give our all but we all have the potential to become heroes
"would you mind telling us your heroes name? so when you enter the pro stance we can follow you?" the other guy that approached us said, I know they mean well but I just wanted to bold out of there, I just wanted to have a nice afternoon with my girlfriend, I sighed and spoke
"I will tell you our hero names but after could you leave us alone please?, we just wanted to have ice cream before starting another week of learning" they nodded their heads and smiled, everyone seemed interested in learning our heroes name but I got closer to the guys and whisper
"As you know apparently from the sports festival my name is Jirou Kyoka and my hero name will be Earphone Jack, and she will be Creati, please keep this name a secret between us till we go pro I would really appreciate it" they nodded again
"you guys rock! I can't wait till you become pro heroes" they gave us a high five before running out of the ice cream shop, the other customers seemed disappointed they didn't got to know our hero names but I mean it's not like they won't know for ever, and if anything I would like to not have this type of events so much
"order of Yaoyarozu-san?" they called, when we grabbed our ice cream we bolted out of the shop and went to the park, thankfully nothing like that happened again, I would have to get used to it if I wanted to be a know hero but right now we were just 2 girlfriends that wanted to hang out
"That was weird" Momo started
"yes, but I guess out class is getting attention from not only the villains" I simply said before licking my ice cream
"That's true and the exposition to the world of the sport festival didn't help, I mean I guess we should be thankful the school is helping us make a name, but we are just 1st years it's weird for us to have the attention the ones that should have it are the 3rd years since they are the ones about to enter the pro life" I nodded in agreement with her
"at least now we can relax, and you can tell me more about yourself Yaomomo" I said while grabbing her hand blushing
"What would you like to know Kyoka?" she asked
"Everything" I answered
On Monday I got up at 3am as always to go to my training with Midnight and All Might, this time my dad was in the kitchen waiting for me
"your lunch is on the table Kyouka, have fun training with All Might today" It was weird for my dad to be up this early, I mean the man loves to sleep
"Thanks dad, but why are you up this early?" I asked him
"I just had some paperwork to do, besides it's not everyday that I can say bye to you before you go to train" he is so sweet
"Thanks dad, it means a lot to me" I said grabbing my lunch
"ah Kyouka, I was thinking that this time you have been training so much it's probably taking a toll on your body so from now on and till the end of the term we won't be training everyday, just on weekends since that's the days All Might and Midnight let you rest, that way you can pass more time with your friends, and of course with Yaoyarozu-san, would that be ok?" I blushed, I had told my dad about my now girlfriend as soon as I got back, he was happy for both and said something about it being about damn time
I nodded my head "Yes dad that would be amazing! Because you are right I was tired all the time but I also want to hang with my friends, but for now I have to go or I will lose my trainings with Midnight and no one wants that, thanks dad I will see you in class" I said before kissing his cheek, grabbing my lunch and going to my training
When I got to the school All Might and Midnight were waiting for me, thankfully it was still 3:50 so I was on time
"Greetings young Jirou-san, welcome back so how did the internship go with grand Torino?" All Might asked me
"It was great he is a sweet person, and got to help me a lot with my powers" All Might seemed surprised
"Grand Torino was sweet? I guess age do soft people but I'm glad he could help you, now it's time for you to show us the results of the internship" he said and Midnight whipped the floor, I have always found strange that she uses a whip but who am I to judge, I smiled and activated One for all in all my body like I have learned, today was certainly going to be interesting

After my training I went for a shower like always since no one wants to be sweaty and sticky all day
When I got to my classroom Momo was there as well as Iida-san as always they were the first ones at class, they were very responsible
"Good morning Yaomomo, Good morning Iida-san" I called before going for my place
"Morning girls, Jirou-san I would like to take the opportunity to apologize for my behavior over our internship it was not acceptable for a hero to let the rage dictate his actions and because of that you got hurt, I will work everyday to become a better hero like yourself, could you forgive me?" Iida-san said
"There is nothing to forgive Iida-san, we are still learning how to be heroes after all, and even then we are still kids we have many emotions to sort through but we can do it together, that's what friends are for right?" I answer him while giving him my thumbs up and Momo nodded agreeing with me
"Good morning Kyoka honey, I got some questions for you if you don't mind" huh? What questions could Momo have?
"sure, fire them Yaomomo" I simply said
"well first, would you like to meet my parents? They are really eager to meet you, second, would you mind if I... went to your trainings? I got to the school early today so I could go to the library for some books I needed and well I got to see you with Midnight and All Might, it was so cool watching you evading them that I couldn't help but want to cheer for you" She blushed "but I knew I couldn't since you didn't know I was there and well I wanted to have your permission and maybe even ask for some help myself to become stronger, so can I?" I was taken aback by both questions, her parents want to meet me so that would mean that they know and that made me nervous, would they accept me? Would they want someone better for their daughter?, and the second one she would wake up really early to cheer me while training that was so sweet, I don't mind if she wants All Might and Midnight to train her as well, I knew she was strong but everyone needs guidance from our teachers
"I will have to ask Midnight and All Might but I don't think there will be a problem beside the fact that we start at 4am, as for your parents... S-sure I w-would love to" she hugged me and kissed my cheek
"thanks! Could you come to my house this Saturday? I will prepare a tea unless you want something else" she smile and clapped her hands
"Yes, I can go on Saturday and a cup of tea to calm my nerves from meeting your parents would be great" I half joked with her and she giggled
My other classmates got there one by one all the boys reached me to say hello and apologize for not talking to me the past weeks, I just told them it was ok and that I understood my dad had threaten the class
"Ears long time not seen; I heard your weak ass got beaten on Hosu" Bakugo greeted me
"hahahah you could say that or you could say we won the fight too, depends on the perspective, but what about you how was your internship?" I asked him
"aghhh damn it Ears don't get me started, this extra Jeanist wanted me to become a "good boy" he was going on and on to how I have a problem attitude" he said
"you do, indeed" I agree and he glared me
"he even said that my unruly hair was part of the problem and gel It down" I laughed so hard at that I can perfectly picture Bakugo with a goodie two shoes hair while his eyes were screaming murder
"damn it extra! S-shut up! " he was blushing, but then Kirishima got near us and said
"I believe you would be manly no matter the style you have Bakugo-san after all you are the manliest of the class" Bakugo blushed hard at the comment
"hmph, whatever shitty hair" he said before going to his sit
"good morning class" Dad was finally on time "welcome back from your internships, I hope that in this time you have grown as heroes and as persons, as you must know the end of the term is close and that means we will have another set of exams for you but this ones will be not as easy as the first ones so please take your time to study for them" He said
"Will he have practical exams too sir?" Iida-san asked, and my dad smirked
"Of course you will, but they will be a surprise for you, I have to run to the principal's office but please take the time to start studying, after all those who doesn't pass won't be able to go to the school trip at the end of the term" he said before leaving the classroom
"oh man I haven't been able to study all the year since we are always busy, either attacked or have to do schoolwork" Kaminari said
"You and me both pal" Mina said
"I have some notes but do we have to learn everything again?" Midoriya said
"Do you want to study with me Kyoka?" Momo asked me and I nodded
"Yes please nothing better than to have the smartest person to teach me" I said
"Could you please study with me too? Please please please? I want to go to the school trip" Mina said
"Of course, we can study together at my house like last time" Momo said
"that's really manly and inspiring, thanks Yaoyarozu-san" Kirishima said
"Hey! I can also be inspiring shitty hair; I will study with you till your dumb brain has it all" Bakugo told Kirishima who made a face as if he was thinking he was dead
We made plans on studying all week with Momo and then the bell rang telling us it was time for lunch, I took my lunch out of my backpack and head to the cafeteria with Momo hand in hand
"oh if isn't the freak queen and I don't even know your name" I was the guy with the suit again Monoma
"great this ass is now here" I said
"don't look so gloomy freak, after all you should be happy your class is popular now after all Villains seem to have a like for it, even the Hero killer went for you, but who know maybe next one will be your last fight" he laughed
"I don't know who you think you are but leave us alone" Momo told him with seriousness
"or what you will cry? Quite honestly I have never seen you do much good for your class, I haven't seen you do anything period, so be nice and stay quite doll" this asshole is dead
I threw a punch at him that made him fall over "don't you ever talk to her again, she is way better than you, she is also stronger and smarter than a guy that hides behind words to feel superior, I don't give a fuck as to why you think you need to be better than our class, we all have the same goal to become heroes, now leave before I regret it" I was fuming how dare he say those things about my girlfriend
"You want to fight freak?, let's fight" He said getting up "I will meet you after classes at the Gym, we will tell the teachers is a training for the exams in there I will beat your ass and will prove class 1-B is way better than a bunch of freak nerds" Monoma said
"Tch whatever weirdo" I said
"good, I will see you later" he said before leaving I assume to inform his teacher
"Kyouka you don't have to fight him, he could hurt you" Momo said
"I don't care as long as he steps back, I don't care how it ends, what matters to me is that his words hurt you Yaomomo, I want you to know that you are one of the strongest ones of the class, your quirk is strong, your mind is strong and your heart and conviction are strong, don't let that asshole words hurt you, I will always be by your side to remind you how special you are and to beat the crap out of guys like him" I said while tears ran her beautiful face, I grab my napkin and as gently as I could cleaned her face
"Now held your head high, don't give him the satisfaction to see you sad honey" I said and Momo hugged me
"thank you, thank you for your words and for defending me, I will become stronger I swear" she said
"I know you will, but in the meantime let's go have lunch and talk to the girls ok?" I said and she nodded
"what did Monoma want girls, great punch by the way Jirou I swear he was crying while leaving" Mina said and gave me a fist bump
"He wanted to be a pest, like always but apparently I will have to fight him today" I rolled my eyes
"what? Why?" Tooru asked
"He insulted Momo so I punched him and apparently he wanted to fight" I shrugged
"Oh defending your girl's honor aren't you a knight with shining armor" I blushed and opened my mouth to say something but quickly closed it since I was at loss of words
"hahahaha you two are so cute I love it" Mina said and I looked over at Momo who was also blushing and playing with her hands
"When will this fight take place?" Ochaco asked
"apparently today after class here at school he will try to make the teachers agree on a training between classes" I said and the girls nodded
We ate our lunches talking about music, where to hang out next since all the girls wanted to go to the amusement park, and nothing in particular
When we got back to our classroom my dad was there with an annoyed face
"Ok problem children, I can't leave you alone for 2 minutes I swear" what was he on about?
"but congratulations today you will have practice fights with class 1-B and they will "settle" things out" by his voice I knew my dad was rolling his eyes "do you know how annoying for me was to listen to Vlad all the recess going on about how they deserve to match you, to prove that they are better and stuff like that?" he sighed, I guess Monoma was not the only asshole of class 1-B
"The pairs have been defined, so please be careful on your fights, treat this as a real battle since I'm sure they will, use your experience and conquer, for the time being please continue studying and after class head to the gym, I will be over with the principal Nezu but if any of you need me call me ok?" we all nodded and continue studying
When the bell rang again I sighed and went to the changing room of the gym, in there we found the girls of the class 1-B
"hello girls, I'm sorry for this" Itsuka-san said
"Yes, Monoma went on and on as to why we should beat your class, but you guys are all nice we like you, he is the only one that doesn't understand that this rivalry has gone far enough, he is even jealous you guy got in battle with villains, we know it was not your fault that you were attacked" Kodai-san said
I sighed
"I only accepted because I thought this would be only between Monoma and myself, sorry for dragging you girls" I bowed
"It's ok, beside we can take this to learn and practice for the next exams right?" Tsunotori-san said
"that's the spirit Pony-san" Itsuka said
We changed into our training suits and went to the Gym where the teacher of 1-B was waiting for us and Present Mic
"Welcome guys, sadly Aizawa-sensei couldn't come but I will be his substitute, please go next to your fighting partners we will start shortly" Present Mic said
Ugh now I had to go next to Monoma great, Momo sent me an apologetic look while I was walking to him
"I hope you are ready to se how superior class 1-B is freak" and there he goes again, I decide to ignore him
One by one our class confronted 1-B everyone was giving their all, the winner would be announced after each fight, Shoto won vs Kuroiro-san, Pony-san won vs Shoji san, Mina won vs Awase-san, Itsuka-san won vs Oojiro-san, Bakugo won vs Bondo-san, Manga-san won vs Tooru, Tokoyami won vs Yanagi-san, Shoda-san won vs Mineta, Midoriya won vs Kamakari, a tie was declared when Tetsutetsu fought Kirishima, Shishida-san won vs Sato since his quirk ran off, Kaminari won vs Kaibara-san, Shiosaki-san won vs Aoyama, Ochaco won vs Honenuki-san, Komori-san won vs Iida-san, Sero-san won vs Kodai-san, Momo won vs Rin-san and Tsuburaba-san and Tsuyu tied
The classes were tied, the fight that would define everything of course had to be mine against the asshole
"please take your places guys" Present Mic told us, and we did as told, Monoma then extended his hand inviting me to a handshake
"Let the best one win" it was weird for him to do that but I grabbed his hand and shake it, after doing so he smirked and from his ears Jacks just like mine grew
"haven't I tell you what my quirk is? Let me explain it for you, when I enter in contact with any quirk I can copy it so now all your power is mine" shit if he has all my power does it mean he has One for all as well?
"Start" Vlad-sensei said, I was thankful the Gym was big enough for us to fight while everyone from both classes were above us because as soon as we started Monoma launched sound waves at me, waves that pushed me back, my echolocation wouldn't work this time since my sound would bounce with the sound he was making canceling it, this would be a huge problem
I wasn't moving for a while just canceling wave after wave he was sending me, since he had pushed me back, I had no idea where he was meaning I couldn't attack
"OI EARS! What the hell are you doing?! You have to attack him" Bakugo yelled annoyed by the fact that I haven't done anything, but he didn't understand, there was too much noise for me to know where the hell was he, even if I sent sound waves they would be cancelled and if I used One for all I wouldn't know where to hit
"Hahahahahaha you see? One of the tops of your class is helpless against the powerful class 1-b" there he is! His Ego got the best of him, I activated One for all to jump to the side so I could avoid his next wave and launched at him the fastest I could, I then felt how he barely escaped my punch, he then proceeds to send me flying back with a sound wave, I crashed on the ground but quickly got up, I heard a few gasps meaning something had happened
"Oh, I understand it now, you use your quirk to move normally don't you?, and now that I'm using your quirk as well it's being cancelled so you don't know what to do, hahahahaha who would have known the queen freak would be this weak" Monoma said
Meanwhile above with the class:
"oh my... Is Jirou-san?" Itsuka asked
"yes, she is but that doesn't mean a thing, she is still one of the strongest ones of the class" Momo answered
"But what he is saying is true, Kyoka uses her sound to "see" what's around her and he is cancelling it, that's why she hasn't attack she doesn't know where he is" Momo continued
"Oi ponytail can't you help your girlfriend, this fight can't end with the asshole winning" Bakugo said
"I don't want him to win either, I just can't think of a way for her to do anything right now" Momo-said
Back to our fight:
Monoma continued sending wave after wave at Jirou
"you know, I don't know what that girls sees in you, you are weak, you can't do anything yourself, I believe I will steal her from you after all you are nothing compared to me, she will beg to be with me" how dare he let those word leave his mouth, any word in general, he was one of the worst people I have ever meet his personality was just horrible, how could he become a hero?
I couldn't let him keep doing this, keep looking at the class and myself down, with One for all still active I launched myself again at to where I believe he was when I collided with nothing I didn't stop if I couldn't know where he was I would have to cover all the room
"I still can't believe one of the tops of the class is handicapped that just shows how weaklings everyone in the class is, you will never surpass us, never and that girls of yours will be on her knees for me" he taunted me
"Just shut the fuck up already!, you don't know what she has been through to be where she is, she has grown stronger day by day, she had overcome every problem life has thrown at her, even if you magically win today it wouldn't mean a thing because she is stronger than you and your shitty attitude will ever be" Momo screamed at top of her lungs, just hearing her gave me hope, hope that I can defeat this guy after all I have trained with my dad for moments like this, moments where I couldn't use my echolocation, I stopped for a second to concentrate, I could hear his breathing, I could hear his heartbeat, even over all this sound I could separate it, I closed my eyes suddenly I found myself smiling
"What are you smiling about freak? You are about to lose" Monoma said
"I smile because now I know" I jumped to where he was
"Time for this fight to start" I said punching him in the Jaw, everyone cheered for me, even class 1-B
I punched him over and over again before he got to punch me back and sent me flying with the strongest wave he could create with my quirk
I was sure I was going to crash against a wall, I was injured, in all the time the fight had been going on al the waves he had launched at me had hit me, I wasn't sure if I would be able to resist a crash like that...
"I'm sorry class, I'm sorry Momo..." I whispered and waited for the worst
It was all black for me, I crashed against someone they smiled at me, I didn't knew them but they felt familiar to me
"I got you kid" she said, she was a beautiful woman with tied black hair wearing a hero suit with a white cape and yellow gloves, I didn't know what shocked me the most, the fact that she had catch me or that I could actually see her
"who are you?" I asked her, I then noticed there was no one else there no Monoma, no class, no one but us
She smiled again, "right now, I'm your friend kid, I'm always here to help you" she pointed at my heart, "but right now you have a fight to win, don't you?" she said before vanishing in front of me
I was back on the gym by some magic I had stopped mid way to the wall and Monoma seemed tired, I guess that he copies quirks as well as weakness, and by him blasting wave after wave never actually using my quirk must have took a toll on him
"you will never defeat me, you are weak, you are nothing, I'm the great Monoma!" he then started laughing like a maniac, this guy was something else I swear I then charged One for all concentrating it on my arm and jumped at him
"you need to understand what being a hero is, it's not about who is stronger, it's about doing the right things even if it seems like they are not a possibility, it's to treat everyone fair, not judging anyone by how the look, how they dress or if they have a disability, please think about who you are and who do you want to become" I said before punching him hard enough to knock him down
"Monoma can't continue, the winner is Kyoka Jirou!" Present Mic announced and a huge cheer emerged from everyone there, Momo ran downstairs to hug her girlfriend
"I knew you could do it! It was an intense battle Kyouka" Momo said
"Good job Ears, I never doubt you" Bakugo said
"hahahah thanks guys, but there is one thing more I need to do" I said while going next to Monoma
He was regaining consciousness "are you alright?" I asked extending my hand at him
He looked at me, grabbed my hand and just said "thanks" he didn't say anything else before going to the changing room ignoring everyone, Itsuka-san approached me
"I'm so sorry for all the trouble he had caused you and your class Jirou-san, I have spoken with Vlad-sensei hopefully he can talk some sense into him, he isn't a bad person but he needs to work in understanding what a hero is like you said" she said giving me my glasses, I took them and put them on
"Thank you Kendo-san, you don't have to apologize on his behalf, I just hope one day he can do it himself, but for now it was a great way to practice before the exam isn't it?" I said smiling, she nodded and whispered me
"Talking about the exam, we have gathered some information from the 3rd years, they told us the practical exam would be us fighting robots as the entrance exam, I hope this information help your class prepare as well"
"thank you, I'm certain it will help, now let's go have a shower, I would like to rest since everything hurts right now" we both laughed and went to take a shower in the changing rooms, when we were done we all said our goodbyes and head home
Now I could think about what had happened, who had saved me? And how had they vanished? And why had no one else seen them?
The week went pretty fast after that, every day they would study at class and then over Momo's house, Kyoka was glad she hadn't had to face her parents over the week but today was Saturday and she was getting ready to meet them, she asked for help on how to dress to his dad who advised her to just dress normally, she wanted to dress nicely but at the same time she didn't want to over do it and give Momo parents a wrong appearance so she followed her dad advice and dress as she normally would [for reference on how she dressed please look at the cover of the book]
Kyoka then made her way to Momo's house, over there a Maid opened the door
"good afternoon my name is Jirou Kyoka, I was invited over by Momo Yaoyarozu" I said
"yes welcome miss Jirou, please accompany me to the garden the Yaoyarozu family is waiting for you" she said as she led me to the garden, in there Momo was sitting wearing a dress with her hair down, she looked beautiful and next to her were who I assumed were her parents, her mom was also wearing a dress and her father was wearing a shirt and jeans as soon as I reach the table I bowed and said
"thank you for having me over" they smiled
"Please have a sit, would you like a cup of Jazmine tea?" her mom asked me while I sat next to Momo
"I would love to, thank you" I said, Momo then got up and pour the tea on my cup, I was so nervous I didn't know what to talk about so I reminded silent waiting for someone to speak to me directly
"so Miss Jirou right? Please tell us a little about yourself, where are you from?, who are your parents? What is your quirk? We would like to know everything" it was his father that broke the silence
"Well my name is Kyoka Jirou, I was born on the Shizuoka prefecture but currently I live over the Musutafu prefecture with my tutor Aizawa Shouta, my parents were Kyotoku Jiro and Mika Jiro, my quirk you could say I have enhanced force and speed and I can project any sound body makes through sound waves" I answered all his questions
"oh so you live close to the school and wow that seems like a powerful quirk" I nodded at him and said
"Well yes my tutor is a teacher at UA and as a benefit of being one they gave him an apartment near the school" I said
"ok, if you don't mind me asking what happened to your parents?" he asks and I felt myself go stiff
"Dad! That's personal" Momo tried to help me
"what? I just want to be prepared if they were into excesses that's usually how kids get a tutor" how could he say that? He didn't even knew my parents and he was here judging them
"Honey that's way over the line you can't say stuff like that, Jirou sweetie you must forgive my husband he has the best intentions for our daughter in mind but his mouth speaks quicker than his brain" she said while glaring at her husband
"I... it's ok, no sir they didn't had any excesses they were awesome parent and musicians, they were really popular but at one of their concerts a villain broke in, they saved their audience but perish while doing so" I said, Momo hugged me quickly and I could swear she was glaring at her dad
"I'm so sorry, I didn't know..." he started
"that's why you don't assume dad!" she said and then whispered to me "I'm sorry Jirou I would have never imagine he would say anything like that"
"Sir I know you want what's best for Momo and I can tell you she deserves everything, I don't know if I can be good for her but I would like to try and always be there for her, always make her feel loved, always lift her up when she is down, always make her laugh, always protect her from danger, I want to be that for her and more, so please, could you let me try?" I finished and then Momo hugged me more and kissed my cheek
"you are the best person anyone could have in their life and I'm so lucky to have you" she told me
"Wow I certainly didn't expect that kid, I like you please feel welcome at any time" he said while patting my back
"I'm so happy my dear Momo found someone special, thank you darling and like my husband said you are always welcomed here" she said while giving me a hug
After that we enjoyed our tea and they invited me to have dinner, It was really nice to have dinner with them, I could see that they loved Momo so much and were really cute in their interactions, this was something one could get used to
When the night came, I said my goodbyes and head home where My told me to go to sleep since I had to study all Sunday to make up the time I had lost with my girlfriend, since our exams started on Monday
