Momo's POV [the night before]
I was scared thinking about who the traitor could be, I knew I could trust Jirou, she wouldn't do it, she had proved all this time to be a real hero. Besides I wanted to think she wouldn't betray my heart like that, I had fallen hard for her.
My mind went to my girlfriend and all the things we have lived so far, and I couldn't help but smile, thinking about us made any fear I had go away, I knew there was someone after us, but I also knew that we could conquer anything if we helped each other
My phone started ringing then, so I quickly picked it up
"Moshi moshi" I waited a second for the reply
"Oh hi honey, sorry to bother you this late but we need you to come home tonight, something... happened" My mom said, it must be important for her to call me this late and more if she wanted me to go home
"Is everything alright?" I asked
"Yes darling, everything is fine it's just that we completely forgot this event that we need to assist and you must do so as well, it's family matters, and you know how your grandma gets when you don't go" I sighed, I loved my family, but I hate this reunions my grandmother will always pest me when would I marry Shouto and when would we have kids even though we are underage and kids still, but my mom was right there was one time I didn't went to the family gathering, and not only was I pested for the rest of the year by everyone of the family, (except for my parents of course), about me hating the family or how did I felt better than them and so on, I did not want to repeat that events if possible
"Will you pick me up in the morning then?" I asked assuming defeat
"No, honey you know your Grandma lives very far away so we are picking you up right now, don't worry we called your principal and he said it was ok since tomorrow was sunday, and we promised to take you back tomorrow night, please meet us at the front gate in 15 minutes" *sigh* I had to leave and couldn't say anything to my friends and girlfriend, I hate this reunions, I guess I will send Kyo a voice chat later telling her how sorry I was about not saying goodbye, but right now I had to get ready to travel
I prepared my outfit for later and put a sweatpants on for the car ride, if tomorrow was going to be awful I wanted to at least be comfortable on the ride, I was cleaning my face from the light make up I usually use, I then went to grab my face towel to rub my face with it, while doing so I crashed with the drawers, I felt something scratch my legs, I yelled since it hurted and it startled me, I looked down to my legs and noticed a large cut on my right leg
"tch, I can be so clumsy at times" I said to myself and created a bandaid for the cut, I then head out to meet with our driver, my mom and my dad
"Sorry again darling, I know you hate this reunion but let's try and have a good time ok?" My mom asked and I nodded, while wishing Kyo could at least accompany me

Many, many hours later, I was thankful we had a limo and that it had space for us to sleep, we got to my Grandparents house around 3 am, we were received by their employees which was pretty normal, we were given our usual rooms, mine was decorated all in pink full of teddy bears, it was not what I was used to but it wasn't that bad either, not long after I lay down to rest I fell asleep and was woken up by a maid at 7am since I had to fresh up and prepare to receive everyone... ugh I forget how early this people like to gather
I decided to take a quick shower still feeling sleepy and who can blame me I literally slept 4 hours on a bed, after my shower I applied my usual "family" make up which consisted on way more than what I usually wear, and then prepared my usual polite smile to go to the garthen where my Grandparent surly were already
"Momo darling you are as beautiful as ever" my grandmother greated me
"Hello Grandma, it's a pleasure seeing you" I responded her greeting
We didn't cross words after and just waited for everyone else, it was not surprise when all my aunts, uncles, cousins and more were there at 9am sharp, I believe that's when they were told the party would start, since punctuality in our family is well respected
"Oh Momo, dear cousin, I heard you passed your exam to the UA I believe a congratulation is in order" Haruka started, that could only mean one thing
"For being the first one to disappoint the family and not wanting to run the family businesses" yep, there it was
"My path is what I choose Haruka, so please abstain on commenting anything about it" I answered as polite as I could while my blood was starting to boil, I knew this was just the start
"Nonsense girls, If Momo wanted to be a noble Hero it's her decision and one we must respect, but now tell me how is your marriage arrangement going?" My Grandma asked, God, kill me now
"Actually dear mother, we called that out, since both kids didn't like each other that way, and I believe it's for the best, I want my sweet daughter to marry whoever she loves" My dad answered for me, and I couldn't help but smile
"What's that nonsense i'm hearing and more coming from my own son, The Todoroki's are one of the best renowned families, they have money, power, and their son is really good looking, so you better fix this, and arrange the marriage again" My Grandmother said
"That's not going to happen" I said
"And why is that young lady?" My Grandad asked me
"First because Shouto and I are just friends, second because he is with someone else, and third because I'm also with someone" I answered, I could see the disgust faces of my family and that's just because they thought the one i'm seeing is poor, ha if only they knew
"Momo darling you don't know what you are doing, in our world Family names are everything, please tell me you are with someone that comes from a good family" an Aunt said and I scoffed, Of course they would only care for money and names
"Let's please drop the subject, and continue this... "nice" gathering we are having, and if any of you dare to question my daughter again about ANY of her choices you can all kiss goodbye any businesses our families could have" My mom said in a cold tone, and I was grateful for having her in my life and that they knew my mom's family had more power than any of them
After my Mom outburst no one said nothing and I was glad for the silence, we then continued to having breakfast that was served by the maids, I thanked them for their work which surprised them, that speaks volumes on how everyone treats people around here, we were divided by the adults table and the "kids" table even when we were all around 12-17 years old
just listening to their hollow talks about money made me wish I was already back in the arms of my girlfriend but I had to endure at least a few more hours till they call the "party" over
"Cousin, I know UA is a free school and all but if you and the Todoroki boy are there are there any cute looking girls you can introduce me to in your class" My cousin Haru asked
"No one come to mind, sorry, for you they are all poor, and beside most of them already have partners" I would never introduce anyone of my class to this bunch of assholes
"If they are poor it's even better, it's way easy to dazzle a poor girl with little money and take them to bed, get what I want and then dump them" how dare him
"Care your words Haru those are my friends" I said in a low tone
"I'm just stating the truth, we all know it, I bet they are your friends because of all your money, they are so dumb they think you would give them some, and you are even dumber to believe they are your real friends" I was so angry I could sweat all my face must be red from anger
Without saying anything else I got up, and walked to my parents
"Can we please go now?, before I do something I won't regret" I said, and my parents nodded
"Well it was a pleasure you all but I just remembered that I promised Momo's principal to deliver her at 3pm so we must get going if we want to get there in time" My mom said getting up
"Oh come on Momo are you seriously going to get upset about hearing the truth?" Haruka taunted me
"The truth? you can't handle the truth" I said matter of fact
"¿Yes? and what would that truth be, cousin?" Haruka asked
"That all of you are a bunch of hollow assholes than deserve nothing, you wouldn't be able to defend yourselves out there in the real world if it wasn't for your daddies and mommies, you believe everyone is like you but you don't know what anyone had passed through, just because you surround yourselves of people you look down to, it doesn't mean you are better, actually it's the contrary, you are as low as it can be, and if you Haru make another comment of getting in bed with any of my friends, I will make sure you regret it" I said, Haruka then tried to slap me, key word being tried since I grabbed her arm
"See, you can't handle it" I was looking right into Haruka's eyes making her know I was not backing away, and letting go of her arm
"Now if you excuse us, I have a school and friends to get back to" I said walking out not bothering to wait for a reply
I waited some minutes for my parents, when my mom came out she was giving me thumbs up, smiling, and I couldn't help but laugh
"I love what UA, and Jirou-san is doing to you darling, this is the first time I see you standing for yourself and I love it" my mom said "Now since we are here with your school permission why don't we have a family day?" She asked and I nodded it's been so long since we had one of those
That day we went for a walk in the park, had an ice cream, we then rented a row-boat on the town's lake, it was amazing, we were having so much fun, we decided to go back to UA later that day, it was 8pm when we got to the front gates
"We love you honey, and are proud of you no matter what" My dad told me and I smiled this guys were amazing
"Now go inside have a wonderful week of learning" My mom said
"Thank you for everything, I will call you on wednesday to let you know how is the week going" I said and then turned to the school, making my way towards the dormitories
When I got there all the lights were out which was weird since it was only 8:20pm, I entered and turned the living room lights on just to see most of the class on the couch, I was confused as to why were they there and more without lights
"Where have you been Momo?" Sero asked me
"I had a family gathering I had to attend, I thought principal Nezu told you guys, I'm sorry for leaving without..." I couldn't even finish before Bakugo said
"Cut the crap already, we know it's you" what is he saying? I was what?
"Bakugo, I have no idea what you are talking about" I said and before I could said anything else the explosive boy blasted my side launching me to the wall
"Hey what the hell!" I said
"What the hell is what we should be asking, why did you betray us? How could you betray Ears?" he said going for another attack but this time I was quick enough to create a shield to protect me
"Bakugo I have betrayed no one, I really have no idea what you are talking about please guys!" I said pleading, with tears threatening to spill from my eyes
"Then explain this" Shouto said, throwing some files at me, "I can't believe I considered you my best friend, and you were just a mole, was all of it a lie to you?" He asked me
"Shouto..." I started
"Don't you dare to say my name!" he then used his Ice to trap me, he only let my head out of it, it was so cold
I took a look at the files that were on the ground, I could see all my classmates names on them but why would they think I was the traitor I haven't been here since yesterday night and I have no idea what those files were
"I know you won't believe me, but if you could just bring Kyo i'm sure she can tell you the truth, I'm not the mole, I really am not, I know how this looks but I have no idea what those files are, I have no idea why you think I am the traitor, I just got home from a horrible gathering with my hollow family and I just wanted to hug and be with my girlfriend but instead i'm being attacked by those who I thought were my friends" I said while letting my tears flow at least, it hurt, it hurt they didn't trust me, it hurt they thought I would be capable of betraying them
"Oh clean those fake tears, you know better than us why we know you are the traitor, you had no family gathering, you were here all day, and more importantly you took Ears to somewhere else, we have it all in cam, so tell us where the hell is she" hearing that I was there... it was impossible but more importantly hearing something happened to Kyo I had to do something
"Guys for real I was not here all day. I went with my parents last night. We went to Uchiko where my Grandparents live. My mom asked Principal Nezu if it was ok I went with them! now please let me free I want to know if my girlfriend is ok please" I said, I knew in the current state of emotions they wouldn't believe me but I made a cannon, while it was going out of my body it was pushing me against Shouto Ice, I was getting hurt but I needed to break it and this was the best way
"Wait Momo you are going to injure yourself" Midoriya-san said, and I didn't listened to him, I could feel the pressure each part of my body was having and just when I thought I was about to break, the Ice did, letting me breath, I was lightheaded but I standed up and started running
"Where are you going?! come back here you traitor" They yelled at me, I didn't bothered with them, I went straight to Kyo's room, there was no one there, but everything was also in place so I continued running and went to my room when I opened the door I was shattered, everything was out of place but what impact me the most was that Kyo's jacket was on the floor, and there was a pool of blood
"No...No... NO! please tell me this is a joke, please tell me she is ok!" my knees gave on me and I the pain I was feeling on my chest was indescribable, I was crying my pain, I could hear steps but I couldn't care less, I was hugging Kyo's jacket, embracing it
Deku's POV
"drop the act already! we told you we know it's you, for fuck sake" Bakugo told Momo, but she didn't move an inch she continued hugging the jacket and crying, I knew this confrotation was a bad idea we didn't had all the information to confirm Momo was the traitor and yet everyone jumped to confront and attack her
"Guys... I don't believe she is acting, you must be joking if you tell me you don't feel the pain behind her crying" I said and everyone looked unsure
"But what about the files in her room and what the cams got" Tokoyami said
"Those files could be planted there so we would believe it was her, I know what the cams showed us but I also know my friend, the one that have been there for each one of us when we needed a hand, so I choose to believe Momo, if she says she was not here I believe her, who knows maybe it was someone one else that looked exactly like her, I don't know would I explain it but I believe her, and right now MY friend is in pain so I won't let any of you hurt her any further" I said going next to Momo
"It will be ok, darling, I believe you... we will find her together" Momo looked at me for a second and I could see the tears coming back, she then hugged me like there was no tomorrow crying harder on my shoulder
"I know, I know, let it all out" I said patting her back "but after let's clean your face and then we both can go look for your girlfriend ok?" hearing me say that, made Momo get up and run to the bathroom to clean her face
"Let's go" she said, I could see how one by one each of my classmates relaxed watching Momo, and believing she would do anything for her girlfriend even look for her at 9:30 pm
"Momo..." Shouto watched her carefully, "I will be honest, I don't know if I truly believe you but if you are on our side i'm sorry for doubting my best friend" he said
"Let's not do this right now, we can talk later I just want to find my girlfriend and make sure she is ok" Momo said and we all nodded decided to go look for Jirou-san
We had been out for 1 hour when a blond muscular guy approached us, he kinda reminded me of All Might in a way
"Guys I have been looking everywhere for you, Mr Aizawa sent me to help you along with my friends, he is also looking for Jirou-san but he said that you might need help so here I am, my name is Mirio Togara and I'm one of the big three of UA, I hope I can be of help today" he said bowing at us
"Do we have leads on to where Jirou-san could be?" he asked us and I shook my head
"We just have the last place they were keeping Bakugo but I don't believe they would still be there more now than the pro heroes know about that place" Momo said
"That's true, but would they really move far from where other people would find them? I mean they want to get recruits right? that's what they have been saying over the news, so if they moved too far to a new place, people wouldn't find them so why don't we look in that zone?" In a way it made sense what he was saying but would they really risk being caught again just to have recruits? We agreed to search the zone and divided in teams, Mirio told us it would be better if he went alone since his quirk consisted in making his density lower, making him able to walk through walls, or even the floor, so no one would be able to follow him if he decided to enter a building that way and we agreed, making our separate ways, on my team was Shouto, Momo and Mina, and we decided to go south from the last warehouse since it was less populated, with big abandoned buildings, perfect for a hidding
Jirou's POV
When I woke up, I was bound with metal to a chair, my head was throbbing
"I guess we have time for a little fun before Shigaraki comes here" Momo said, ah right... my chest hurts just watching my so called girlfriend that had betrayed me
"Tell me what does it feel to be betrayed by who you love the most?" she asked me getting near me with a knife, I spit at her face which made her smile even bigger
"You disgust me" I said with courage and anger
"aww but we are just playing here no need to get all serious" She then proceeded to stab my leg with the knife making me scream in pain
"ah sweet sweet noise, I love making you scream darling" Momo continued
"Leave me alone" I tried activating One for all but my hands and legs were trapped in uncomfortable positions making it impossible for me to use it, my muscles were refusing to use it
"Let's make you a present so you never forget me" she whispered in my ear, and then lifted my shirt up I was sure I was going to be stabbed again
"Toga stop it already, we don't want to traumatize our guest do we?" A man said, he was tall, with spiky hair "And do go back to your real self everytime I see you in the form of my brother's best friend makes me want to burn you alive" he said and just like that "Momo" started disintegrating
"awww you are no fun, I wanted to make her think her loved one had betrayed her more, corrupt her you know" I recognized that girl, it was the girl that attacked us at the camp, the one that changed forms... how could I be so stupid... but.. how could she get to UA and more importantly I remember her needing blood to transform so how did she managed to get Momo's blood, was she here as well? was she ok?
"I know what you are thinking girl, no, we didn't take your precious girlfriend and we haven't injure her... yet, but that will happen unless you join us" The man told me
"but then again if you don't join us we will make sure to kill everyone of the people you love and we will make sure you watch it, make them plead for their lives, beg for your help, making them suffer every second of it until there is no more pleads" The man said and I growled
"Don't you dare to touch any of them" I said
"You are in no position of making demands girl, you should know that" He said grabbing the knife of Toga's hand and stabbing my other leg making me scream in pain again, I had no idea how was I going to get out of this one, I refused to join them but I didn't want those who I love in danger
"we will let you think about your options and we will come back I expect a favorable decision for all of us" The man said dragging the girl out of the room, I knew i was defeated there was no way I could say I won't joining them without exposing my loved ones to danger, but if I could get out of here, I wonder if I could protect them, I mean they got to us pretty fast an easy what makes me believe they couldn't do it again
I don't know how much time passed, I was in my thoughts of defeat when I heard a click and felt my hands been free, I was scared they had come back but I didn't "see" them
"shhhh" I looked to where the sound was, it was that guy I had met earlier that day at the pizzeria. What was his name? ah right
"Togata-san, w-what are you doing here?" I asked him
"keep quiet I came here to rescue you, we were worried about you, your dad, your classmates, everyone, now let's get you out of here before someone see us" he whispered me
"How did you find me?" I asked him, I wanted to believe he was here to rescue me and all but it seemed rather convenient
"To be honest it was pure luck, your classmates and I decided our origin point would be the last place the villains had gathered when they attacked you before, then we separated so we could cover more space, I was walking around when I saw a guy and a girl going out of this building, I remembered watching a picture of them over the news saying they were part of the villains and decided to get inside the building to look for you, It was a rather confusing building but after 16 rooms I did find you" he whispered smiling "so can we get out of here now?" I... was this real? Was I really this lucky?
"I would like nothing more than getting out of here" I said getting up, ignoring the sharp pain I felt in my legs
"oh no you are injured" he said
"Don't worry about that, have you made an exit course?" I asked
"Oh we could just go through... wait you don't phase walls right, dang... I believe there is a sewer we could fit through one floor below but we have to be careful to not raise any alarm, so I will go first and will open the doors for you when it's safe ok?" I nodded at him and followed his instructions every step of the way
We had successfully moved down 1 floor when I plugged my jacks to the wall, I heard no one and sighed in relief
"I believe there is no one on this floor, so let's move" I told him before we hear Toga
"Good good it's now time to play again, let's go make our captive cry" she was singing while going down the stairs, in no time they would notice I was no longer captive and this would turn ugly
"come fast" Mirio whispered me and we began walking faster
We heard a door open and then Toga screaming
"Dabi! she is not here anymore, she escaped" oh fuck me, Mirio then opened a door for me and in the middle of the room there was the sewer he was talking about
"Help me open it, it's heavy!" he said, I then Helped him and he jumped down, I started making my way down and dragged the lid back so they didn't know where we had gone, just when I had placed the lid where it belong someone opened the door of the room I didn't dare to even breath
"Not here!" I heard a new voice say it was a man's voice, then the door closed again and i sighed in relief, making my way down
"We did it!" Mirio said high fiving me, now let's get out of here, i don't know about you but I don't really like this smell
We decided to get out on the 3rd street exist so we wouldn't be near the building, when we were out, Togata-san called someone
"Yes sir, I'm calling because she is with me now, yes, she was injured but nothing too major, I will take her back to the school's dormitories if that's ok with you, I will also call Nejire and Tamaki to let them know, could you tell her class she is fine and they can meet her at the dormitories? Thank you" he said before ending the call
"I was talking with your dad, he was the one that arranged us to look for you so now let me carry you to the dormitories, and you don't have to worry, I was told that after what happened this afternoon Principal Nezu hardened the security measures on UA so we can all be safe" I thanked him and nodded, I was just glad I was out of there, and I was also glad that crazy bitch would be far away from me, now that I knew what they were capable of doing I would be more observant, I was kinda stanged to why I didn't notice my girlfriend had been a copy but then I remembered the Momo copy didn't want to be that much time with me I believe she knew I would notice otherwise, so it was a good strategy but now I knew
When we got back to the dormitories, Mirio placed me on my bed, no one had come back yet but we didn't had to wait long before my girlfriend came rushing my dormitory crying hugging me, telling me how sorry she was that she was not here to protect me
"hey now, there was no way you could have known, I am just thankful you are here now" I said kissing her head
"oh they hurt you..." she said with tear in her eyes, she wasted no time in making bandages, alcohol to clean the wounds, everything, and carefully cared for my injuries, I then noticed everyone else was also there staring at us and I felt... observed
"Can you all please go, I want to be alone with my girlfriend" I said
"Do you trust her after what happened, Ears?" Bakugo asked me and it clicked, they must have seen Toga as Momo when she attacked me
"I know what you are thinking Bakugo but it was not Momo who attacked me, it was a villain, the one that attacked us at the camp, the one that changed forms" I said and Bakugo's mouth formed a perfect o...
"I... I'm sorry I doubted you Ponytail" Bakugo said with regret in his voice
"You deserved nothing of what we did, i'm sorry for not believing you Mo..." Todoroki-san said and I turned to my girlfriend
"What did they do?" I asked her and she shook her head
"Nothing darling, it's all ok, it was a misunderstanding" Momo said
"what... did... they... do" I pressed the subject
"I just have a few scratches on my side nothing to worry about, please let it go" She said "guys I accept your apologies but could I please be with my girlfriend alone?" Momo asked and everyone left one by one
I made space on the bed for her "come lay with me baby" I said and she was happy to do so, since she got to hug me and bury her head in my chest, I blushed at her actions but I couldn't blame her, I wanted to be as near to her as possible
I kissed her head making her look up, I started kissing her forehead, then her cheek and finally her lips getting lost in them, I felt safe, I knew it shouldn't be this easy, more after what happened but she was my safe spot, I knew I was going to be alright
We kept kissing and hugging until we finally fell asleep, If today had teached me one thing was that we needed to find the traitor soon before they made us turn against each other, and we also needed to have a way of fighting back, the problem was... how would we get that?
HAHAHA, you fell for it didn't you, you thought I would let my cards out so early, well thankfully for my mental health I didn't hahaha, because I love Momo and I would hate to see her turn evil, but I wanted to take advantage of Toga's quirk, I don't belive it's that explored in the anime/manga, Toga is more well known because of her anticts than her powers, (i mean we all know she is a psycho that has a liking for Ochaco and Deku and that she likes blood but have we really seen her use the potential of her changing quirk? I don't thinks so :D, so I wanted to try, hope you all liked the twist not so twist!
