Chapter 5:Always Busy At Work
It was a new day again for the group right now as mostly everyone family heard of the news of someone being terminated from their job. Though it didn't take long for the family to receive some support in their endevors. But it was the weekend still as with the arrival of a certain band right now some of them decided to spend some time together
Right now that being the hayley cousins along with their two teammates. Along for the ride also right now was perun and orchie. Who brought along her own daughter who was they left aspen and harmonia at the compound for their safety. But the entire time orchie kept rubbing her back which thrud noticed
"Hey something happen to your back"thrud asked making orchie blush at the young girl for a moment right now
Mercury was their snickering for a bit"maybe someone had a little too much fun last night"he teased making her glare at him
"Shut up metal legs i was consoling my husband after he lost his job"orchie said not hiding what she and the others did with yuki gagging
"I don't wanna image that right now someone erase my mind"yuki said as mulan shivered
"Try living near it ughhh why did i have to live three doors down from my parents room…the horrors"mulan said making her mother more embarrassed as eria frowned right now.
"God can you stop i rather not be reminded of the pervert that is my leader. I always knew he'd become one"eria said with some confidence as also with them was chet who titled his head
"What makes you say that?"chet asked as perun laughed for a moment sighing
"Get this my wife was so paranoid back in the day. She forced a rule for her team when she wasn't even the leader. That the one guy had to stand outside while the girls changed"perun said as eros rolled his eyes
"Maybe we should use that rule right now for me and kris"eros said confusing them
"Ummmm what?"mulan asked as kris growled with his tail thrashing about as he stared at thrud who stared back
"What did i do this time?"thrud questioned as she knew what she did
"You walk around without a shirt sometimes its embarrassing right now seeing that. Along with that i may be into well….umm…the other team"kris said with a wagging tail on that thought as eros frowned even further
"I hate how i have to share a room with two annoyances. One being my family by blood of my mother"eros growled glaring at yuki who frowned back at right now
"I am not that annoying. You need to learn to live a more laid back style cousin"yuki spat back making him growl at her as mercury held his son back right now
"Come on buddy just relax besides wheres that annoying bandmate of you two. He said he wanted to give us an idea on something"mercury asked as perun eyed something ahead smirking
"Oh i see him and oh crap him and slater brought their daughters"perun said as immediately someone screamed running forward
"Its you two! Whats uppppp!"a female voice screched tackling mulan to the ground who yelped right now
Looking toward the source right now it belonged to someone specific right now. That being a girl who was seventeen with slightly tanned skin along with having silver grey hair that was cut short reaching her neck. Though she had a large bust size along with having a athletic appearance to her. But her attire was strange
As she was wearing a punk rock themed styled shirt that had musical notes all over it colored gold. While the shrit was light grey in color she wore a flared black dress jakcet over it undone with some pins on it. One being of a blimp it seems along with having some earrings on that where studs. But she wore a dress skirt that was slightly torn on the edges of it with her wearing high pumped boots colored dark grey with black laces. But she wore a lip piercing as well.
Yuki smiled helping the two up as mulan groaned feeling very dizzy right now.
"I wanna puke….but i don't be like lance"mulan groaned as the girl laughed right now
"Do it and puke on the ice king"the girl said as they where confused with perun pointing at kris then at eros
"Which one?"he asked as they laughed a little at that but someone was running over right now
"Yo! Come back here you firecracker! I wanted to tackle someone for a joke and you ruined it"Tanner said running after her as she was his daughter that him and zephyra had.
Though close behind him was slater with someone else that being a fair skin seventeen year old girl. Who had deep blue hair styled into a braid ponytail with her having light olive colored eyes. Though she wore a simply attire consisting of a pair of black jeans with her sporting a deep green blouse over her top. But she had a slender build with a modest bust size along with having on some black tennis shows.
As slater chuckled"well compared to my thorn here shes alot less chaotic than your kid T"slater said as thorn frowned at her father
"Stop embarrassing me dad aura is crazier than anyone here."thorn said as this girl who was tanner name was aura as she smiled brightly
"Come on its fun being wild! Because i may be studying to become a huntresses at atlas. Its still awesome that i'm here"aura cheered as yuki squealed hugging her friend right now.
"Its so nice to see you guys were all together again"yuki cheered as kris cleared his throat getting their attention
"Are you forgetting about someone that being your leader"kris said as the three girls shared looks for a moment as aura laughed
"Oh man you got schnee as your leader i guess no shengains are allowed their. For the two rule followers in your group"aura said pointing directly at eros who glared at her
"That didn't stop you being an annoyance by dragging me along. I got in trouble alot because of you punk"Eros growled as aura whistled at him
"Fiesty like always eh ice king"aura teased as he growled at her with eria sighing right now as she covered her face
"So what are our plans exactly right now. You dragged me here i wanted to enjoy some time with my husband myself"Eria said smiling at perun who blushed a little as tanner grinned for a moment
"Lets grabs some coffee first then talk"Tanner said as they found a nearby coffee shop sitting down for the evening. Once they all sat down right now they soon got some coffees ordered for them. As they began to enjoy some hot brew orchie kept moving around in place in her seat which slater noticed
"Good over their orchie? You sore in the legs"slater teased as she narrowed his gaze at him
"Don't know has your short wife found you yet and made you squeal to the heavens."orchie teased back making him glare at her as thrud giggled right now
"I love how everyone teasing each other this is fun. "Thrud said as tanner drank his coffee with eria sighing
"So what was this idea of yours right now mckay?"eria asked as he set his cup down whipping his mouth off with a grin right now
"Well you know how were suppose to perform on the day of the vytal festival starting right?"tanner asked as they did recall that
"I do recall that actually we got selected for it. Along with that a few other famous performing groups in the mix. Why bring that up?"slater asked as aura smirked right now
"I gave my dad this idea you know how we sort of do that little band thing from time to time in argus?"aura asked the three other girls here.
As the children of these four band members actually did something a couple years ago. They started their own band to perform like their parents and they named themselves the sirens of remnant. They thought it was a good idea for their band name to make it more unique
As the bass player of the group was yuki along with its guitarist. But their was also mulan who played the guitar at times with thorn being their main drummer for their band. While the main singer of the group was aura but sometimes they would take turns singing for different songs theyve come up with over the years.
"Wait are you suggesting we….no way….are you suggesting we perform at the vytal festival?"mulan asked in shock right now as tanner smirked
"I mean we do have the connection to let you kids play. Besides it be pretty sick to start your band career at the most famous holiday ever second to remembrance day"tanner said with a grin
This stunned them all right now hearing about this opportunity presented to them. With them all processing it for a bit but yuki cheered loudly standing up on the table almost

"Well i'll be their for you along the way. Just make sure to focus on your huntress studies okay"eria said as right now eros growled slamming his hand on the table getting their attention
"Oh great my dumb aunt is here for my stupid cousin. Thats so great"eros said coldly with venom surrpsing some seeing him like this
"Hey dude whats up with you?"aura asked annoyed now that hes being rude as mercury narrowed his gaze at his son
"Eros you need to apologize to your aunt now. Your mom and me taught you better than that"mercury said making eros snap at him right now
"Well if my mom was around more then i wouldn't be so pissed off! "Eros shouted in his face as mercury eyes widden seeing him on the verge of tears. Eros got up running off before they could stop him
"Hey wait up! Partner…oh…dang it"Thrud said slowly with a worried look right now as they got silent for a bit seeing that.
Their was immense silence for a bit as eria looked down upset for a moment thinking about her twin sister how she isn't even here for her own son
As mercury sighed holding his head"is he okay i mean….why did he flip out so fast?"mulan asked with kris crossing his arms
"Let take a guess he keeps complaining about his mother not being here everytime he sees his family. Maybe shes not around that much"kris suggested as mercury stood up with an upset look
"Lets find my kid we can talk later about it"mercury said as they agreed on that to find the young boy right now;
But right now with eros he was walking around the town right now with the festival being set up. As he passed a poster right now depciating a family at the now 50th vytal festival right now for the tear. But he scoffed right now grabbing it tearing it down
Then he tossed it to the ground stomping on it a few times thinking about how that things is about the unification of the kingdom. But it also meant spending time as a family something his own mother didn't spend much time with him since she ran the family company.
Four years ago. Argus
It was around the time in argus when the snow was raining down onto the city of argus making it cold as ever. But right now one thing was happening that being a certain holiday known as dustmas a holiday to celebrate with your family. Along with the gifting of gifts to everyone but right now in the streets was someone
That being a thirteen year old eros who was in a pair of brown pants with a orange sweater on to stay warm. But he wore a silver winter jacket on with a tan fur trim to it. Though instead of his frown he had he was smiling right now a little.
Because he was wandering the streets right now toward something that being the hayley industries factory. The greatest weapon manufactors of all the five kingdoms along with the owner and ceo being his own mother. But today he was excited for something that being what his mother promised him for the holidays right now. That she would skip her work to spend time with her family.
As he was approaching the gate a guard stopped him
"Hold up kid you can't be here so leave and…oh wait nevermind its the little heir of the family company"the guard said as eros smiled warmly at him
"Thats me can i go inside i wanna see if my moms available"eros asked as the guard buzzed him in
"Sure kid you know your way around. Hey tell your dad i said hi hes the best security chief we've had in years"the guard said stating mercury status right now
As eros walked in with a mighty pep in his step right now as he went inside to look for his mother. Once inside he got in seeing the friendly face of the workers here at his mother factory. Along with what they where making which interested him immensely right now.
Those being conveyor belt filled to the brim with a wide design of weapons and ammo right now. Their where dust crystals lining the belt as well with another addition to the company. That being the production of prosthetic with people speiclizing in making them by hand for the care these beauties needed.
He was so enamored in them he failed to noticed that he bumped into someone who chuckled right now
"What are you doing here kiddio"a male voice asked sounding chirper
Looking up the heir smiled at who it was as it was someone who he was related to. That being a older looking jaki hayley who had grey streaks in his hair now after all these years. Along with that he had on a outfit similar to back then. But he was wearing a pair of medium blue stripped dress pants with white stripes. But he wore a teal dress shirt with the sleeves rolled down with grayish blue vest over it. Though he wore a thick navy blue winter coat for the weather right now
Immediately eros hugged him with both arms wrapped around him
"Grandfather"Eros cheered as jaki laughed hugging him as he released him
"I thought i'd hear your cousin calling me that not you."jaki said to eros annoyance
"Yuki is annoying but i can be cold at times. Maybe i got that from you"Eros said with a grin to his grandfather who smiled at him
"What brings my grandson here its dangerous here. You might blow something up"jaki warned with a wink
"I'm here to see my mom to see if she done with her work yet"eros said making jaki stare at him for a moment sighing
"Lets go check on her then"jaki said guiding him through the halls of the factory right now
The smell of motor oil filled the place along with the clanging of machinery. But they where soon reaching the end of their little tour that being an elevator right now. They took it immediately to the top of the factory to the current owner of this company.
It didn't take them long to reach the top floor of the company as they got to the top. As it lead to a wide spacious office with the hayley hardware symbol on the very wall. With their being a desk that was made completely of wood for someone to do some minor paperwork. Though their where pictures in the room along with cases containing something
That being several different weapons that ranged from submachine guns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, grenade launcher, swords, axes, daggers, staffs and many more. But right now their was one certain person in the room who was the company current owner that being rouge hayley.
Though over the years she changed it seemed with her gaining an extra feet in height. But her bright blonde hair was now reaching her middle back fixed up to look less messy. Though she also ditched her old earring that she wore replacing them with small diamond earrings. Along with that she wore a formal piece of attire compared to her usually outfit.
That being a pair of flared black pants with some slits where her ankles where. But she also sported a pair of black character shoes as she still hated heels over the years. Along with that she was wearing a deep red dress shirt underneath a hot orange dress jacket. As it had golden buttons on it with it kept nice as she wore a matching black business tie with it.
As the heirness who now was the owner was busy talking with someone right now that being kristen who was apart of her work staff
"Hayley i keep telling you that those idiots where gonna cause problems. That deal we had was terrible"kristen said as rogue sighed heavily rubbing her forehead
"You mean how they tricked me and sabotage our production line at the factory. Thank god the cops caught them and their under investigation. But seriously this is on my nerves right now"rogue said as eros smiled walking over to her
"Mom! Are you ummm done with work so we can spend the holiday together right now"eros asked making her look at him for a moment
He expected a smile from her but she had a serious look in her eyes right now as she sighed with some bad news
"Sorry sweetie something came up. I need to attend a board meeting right now for today something happened at one of the factory and the police need me to answer some questions"rogue said making him look down right now
"But..but…you promised that you try and skip some work"eros said to her as the women sighed getting up grabbing a document skimming it right now as her father eyed her down with a upset look
"Sorry sweetie but i need to keep the family company afloat. I promise next year that i'll make sure that nothing comes in the way. Right now i really need to do this or worse comes to worst the family company falls under"rogue said with a nervous look as eros looked down heartbroken expecting this
"Ummm okay…are you sure you can hurry up to make it on time for a bit"eros asked as she didn't hear him closing the door leaving with kristen
It left the young heir with a upset look right now as jaki rubbed his back consoling his only grandson right now.
As the day went on eros spent that dustmas with his family right now but he was only with his father. But during that day all he could see was his own cousin having a better life. That being her own two parents being here while he had one. His mother was always so busy with work it made time hard for her to spend actual quality time with them which upsetted him
Part of him told him to keep holding out for hope that she would make it to the next family outing. But that became a repeat of several activities as his mother was always too busy for him to spend any time with him.
Present
In the present eros stood their for a moment staring at the ground letting some tears drip from his eyes. He whipped them away for a bit scoffing right now as his mother always promsised to make it up to him but it was always an empty promise. Everytime she would be missing something for work weather that be eating out, a family event, something random she would always have too much on her plate
Over the years he was a little cold like his grandfather and aunt but this made him feel more cold hearted over the years. It just pained him that his cousin who was always some trouble maker would get everything he wanted a family that would always make time for each other.
As eros stood their for a bit he slide against a wall right now burying his face into his knees making sure no one saw him cry but someone called to him
"Eros…is that you?"someone called out making him look up seeing it was salacia
Eros whipped the tears away quickly"salacia what are you doing here?"he asked as she looked down
"Grabbing snacks for my team for our training. But i saw you over here…hey are you doing okay?"salacia asked as he tried to play it off
"I'm fine…everything is just fine"eros said but she saw the still stained tears on his face as she looked down chcukling
"Your a lier i'm guessing your upset your mom isn't here still"salacia said hitting the mark making the heir look down right now sighing as she knew about that since he mentioned it to her and kris a couple times
"She isn't here again i thought since it was the vytal festival she would be here. Maybe support me she and her team won it i thought she would be here for me….to see if…if…i could win it…..maybe."ero said looking down right now wondering why his mother always cared more about her work than her family
Their was an eerie silence between the two right now but salacia sighed patting him on the back right now
"Come on i know it sucks right now. But my dad is busy being a huntsman at times though he tries his best to make time for me. Its just your mom is running a whole company its hard i'm sure kris can feel the same way at times. Though maybe if you keep on holding onto the hope that your mom comes here for the festival maybe she will"Salacia said as he thought about it for a moment sighing heavily at the thought of it
"Your pretty smart and wise…thanks"eros said making her laugh
"No problem besides want me to help find your friends i'm sure you where with. "Salacia said as he nodded to her.
With the others they kept walking around looking for the teen right now with kris sighing heavily
"I cannot believe he got away from us that fast"kris said aloud
"Well i mean he does have a speed semblance maybe someone saw him walking around here"aura said as thrud looked around smiling
"Hey look its naga and his mom they might have seen him!"thrud said making kris tail go droopy as they looked toward the two. As by the young snake side was his mother being known other than emerald who gre her hair out into a high ponytail. While she grew a couple inches she also had on a different outfit for the weather here. That being a pair of white leather pants that complemented her curve while she sported a mint gear long sleeve showing her midriff with a jewel cutout in the middle.
As kris was nervous now wondering if his boyfriend mother knew of their relations
Mercury sighed"emmy! Hey care to help out an old friend!"mercury called to his friend who noticed him smiling praticualry running over hugging him
"Merc! Oh your such a sight for sore eyes right now when did you get back?"emerald asked as he sighed
"Yesterday actually is your creepy husband stalking around somewhere"mercury asked as close by scoffing with a hiss was adder
"I am not creepy black. But nice to see you again…do i need to unscrew your legs to teach you a lesson"adder hissed as mercury rolled his eyes at the snake
"Come on its a joke but have you seen my son?"mercury asked worrying the two
"Did he go missing? Is he hurt? Did you call the guard?"emerald asked with other questions as yuki groaned
"No he ran away upset since his mom isn't here….ughhh why does he have to be so emotional"yuki said as emerald looked surprised by that but walking over right now was eros with salacia which eria noticed
Eria ran over to her nephew with a relieved look"their you are eros we were worried for you for a second"she said as eros sighed looking down right now
"Sorry just emotional…can we just go back to the dorms…i'm tired"eros said as he walked away right now avoiding their gaze as yuki sighed walking after her cousin to make sure he was okay with adder hissing with a sigh
"It seems that your wife isn't here like always black. Is she seriosuly working again"adder asked seeing how frequent this is
"Hey its just sunshine is busy running her family company"mercury argued but eria glared at him with an icy glare
"My father made time for us everyday to ensure we were cared for. Right now i have half a mind to head to argus and drag her here after tossing her through a window"Eria growled but an idea came to salacia mind
"Just tell her to come here and that he misses her its pretty simply"salacia said as they paused for a moment as tanner scratched his chin
"That could work and well mhmmm maybe uhhh….mention you know…that uhhh umm…"he paused on the words to aura confusion right now
"You good dad?"aura asked as he shared a look with the others as adder shook his head at him as tanner sighed
"Nothing hey why don't you all keep my friend son company for the night. No kissing"tanner warned as mulan gagged
'We aint into him that salacia"mulan said making the girl blush right now as they stared at her as she ran away right now with an embarrassed look as thrud laughed at her
"Hey should we tell them that kris is swapping spit wit–"she was stopped as kris covered her mouth running away dragging her away. With naga slyly walking away from them right now leaving the adults in an awakrd silence as eria chuckled
"Oh dear god neptune daughter is into my nephew…well thats a surprise but do you two know about…"Eria paused as emerald and adder shared a look
"That my son is kissing a schnee yeah i know but maybe someone should give her sister a call tonight"emerald said making them think about that
Right now hours later in the day some student where still awake in the evening. As that someone right now was isa who was doing one thing late at night. That was training right now to keep herself occupied for the evening.
As she was throwing her kunais right now into a training dummy several times as she ran dry. Quickly running around she scooped a few up before tossing one straight into a dummy head knocking it down
The panther panted right now as she drew out a kunai to stab a training dummy. But as she raised her kunai she flinched as her vision flashed for a moment. With her seeing the bloody body of x-43. As it made the panther flinch in fear as his body contorted slightly staring at her as it got up laughing
"The little girl is a murder of someone…your a murderer…you didn't kill a bot…you killed a person"x-43 taunted making isa pant a little as she flinched right now dropping her kunai to the ground.
As she stood their panting for a moment shivering in fear closing her ears wanting it to go away. While she waited someone soon placed a hand on her shoulder making her yelp right now as she prepared to get attack
"Calm down its just me"a voice said infront of her as she looked who it was
That being lynn who stood their with an annoyed look as she scoffed seeing him right now.
"Are you being a pervert or something?"isa asked
"I am not some pervert i was wondering why your up so late."lynn questioned
"Just getting some training in with my kunai is all be extra prepared gotta win the tournament for my moms"isa said with a nervous look as he noticed the slight bags under her eyes still being their
Lynn scoffed for a moment"your lying your still having trouble sleeping right now i take it"lynn said making the young panther look down for a brief moment as he looked at her worried
"Look we may not get along but why don't you sit down maybe talking about something can calm your nerves"lynn said making isa sigh right now
"How can that even help what should i even talk about?"isa replied as he thought about it thinking of one thing

Four years ago menagieria

Who was laughing right now running around with someone by her side that being a ten year old panther faunus. Who had fair skin along with having a pair of pink and golden eyes making him have heterchomria. Their was also how he had dual traits with one pink tail swirled together with brown as he had brown hair with it being swirled together with pink. As he had two panther ears on his head. With him wearing a bright brown kimono on right now
This was heath her baby brother
As the two where running around one person right now that being colt who was laughing right now. With the man trying to catch the two as he failed to catch them as he sighed
"Come on i came to visit your mom kiddio and you stole my scroll give it back you gremlins"colt demanded as isa spat his tongue at him
"No"isa citely said tossing her baby brother his scroll as heath laughed running around right now
"You'll never catch me cueball man"heath said running around but someone caught him by his little tail as they laughed right now.
"Ah ah you can't be doing that right now drop it"neo said as heath puffed his cheek at her with neo staring at her son who gave it back. Colt panted walking over taking it as he wiped his brow
"Thanks kiddio man these two are rowdy like you at your age"colt said as neo set her son down who hugged her legs right now as she sighed.
"Come on your not that old yet lawson. Besides god all i did as a kid was encourage my siblings to fight everytime i saw them"neo said with a smile as he chuckled as isa hugged him
"Can i go back to vale i wanna spend time with uncle"isa said as the man sighed ruffling her hair
"Sorry kiddio i'm visiting atlas next to be checking on the boxing gym we got their. Some people have been causing trouble their for some faunus"colt said as neo sighed
"Let me guess racist?"neo asked as he nodded but isa puffed her cheeks up
"Just punch them for being rude to faunus they deserve it for being jerks"isa said as he laughed patting her on the head right now smiling
"Sorry kiddio no can do besides you could do that maybe in the future since you wanna be a huntresses like your mom. Maybe you could knock some skulls together for me i'm too old for it"colt said making her smile hugging him that she'll do that.

"So he was very close to you i take it"lynn asked
"More than close. Mom told me how he helped raise her along with her siblings. That went for my uncle and aunt those being well…."she paused as he sighed
"My leader father and that…fox faunus i take it"lynn said as she snapped her figner
"Aunt zoey is a blessing in disguise but ughhh shes so snooty with the rules."isa said as close by someone cleared their throat
"Hey i heard that"zoey said startling the two making them yelp right now as they stared at the old fox fuanus
"How long have you been their?!"lynn asked as zoey chuckled
"The entire time keeping an eye on the girl i'm suppose to guard hence her moms orders"zoey said as isa puffed her cheeks up right now
"I'm fine auntie besides just getting pratice in right now"isa argued but zoey experience this before with her own family but she rather not press her right now
"Okay but…surprised that colt cared for you just like he did for me with my little brother including your mom and siblings"zoey said peeking lynn interest
"Did he care for you ma'am?"lynn asked making her laugh at that
"Call me zoey kid besides uncle colt was the best uncle i could ask for. Granted lost both my parents to slaverys a long time ago. But he made sure to be their for me and my family. He was good friends with my mom including well your grandfather kiddio"zoey said making isa tilt her head
"You mean grandpa torchwich?"isa asked as she nodded
"Your grandfather used to be this common crook back in the day. But he would always do what was right he was an orphan but he took your mom and her siblings in. provided them with a loving home but…this year is also tough on your mom too"zoey said confusing the two
"What are you talking about right now?"lynn asked as the fox faunus paused for a moment closing her eyes
"During the festival years ago when it was attack my uhh uncle sacrfieced himself to save alot of people. Went down a hero that day and look i umm…know you've had it tough with colt passing sweetie but….maybe try sticking close to your teammates for the time being alright"zoey said expecting an answer but got nothing
As isa was passed out curled up on the ground fast asleep with her sighing as lynn sighed right now
"Should i take her back or…"he paused as she eyed him
"Eh i'm busy besides for some reason you keep following her around. Maybe you have a thing for her"zoey said making him stare at her huffingg!
"I don't if this dingus gets hurt then kenji will be upset about it."lynn said picking the sleeping cat up to take her for some much needed rest but zoey grinned staring at that hoping everything will be okay right now for them.
It seems that everyone is struggling mentally in some aspects as isa still tackles these terrible nightmares. Although we got some backstory on eros and seeing rogue in a flashback but it seems she cares more about her work than her family lately. Thanks for reading!
