Chapter 6: Strange Labs Part 1
It was currently a few days later in the kingdom of vacou right now as still awake for the day was ciel along with others. Mainly being decker shaw himself along with marrow right now including june. As their was also zane their with a fumming athena glaring at glynda who noticed it right now.
As the wives of the grimm hybrid were still on edge for what she did to her husband. That being firing him for some little brat assualting her daughter as the women glared at her with an intense look right now in her eyes with her sighing heavily.
"Come on now dear i told you it was a hard decision"glynda said
"Meh meh hard decision my ass that little brat assault my daughter when she shattered her aura"athena growled as in the room also was cardin who frowned right now
"Uhhh i did the same thing to my buddy here and he bounced back from it"cardin said making the women open her mouth for a second but stopped blushing right now as june giggled
"No comeback eh auntie"june teased making her growl as the coyote yelped right now but marrow cleared his throat getting their attention right now.
"Look right now we got a new problem at hand right now. I had asani anaylyze that little mask we found at the rave more in depth"marrow said as asani stepped forward from the shadows with an intense look in her eyes right now
"This mask like i said before seems to have hypnotic messages in it. Along with that i found out that dam thing was given out to everyone in that rave. Which might mean alot of people have been brainwashed to serve you know who"asani said as they knew of the who
"The unseen eye cult…..don't tell me their numbers have grown"ciel asked as decker scoffed
"Well my boys who've been scooping out those old bunkers back in the day found out their using it as an arms deal meet up. Which means their coming back armed to the teeth they might be planning to attack the dam fesitval again after all these years"decker growled in rage right now but glynda sighed closing her eyes for a moment then opening them
"We need to have a plan have you found anything that might link it to its main source"glynda questioned as she had bad news
"Nope i would need more advance equipment that being in atlas right now. "Asani said as someone called out to them
"Thats why you called us in right?" a female voice said as they looked toward the source right now
As stepping out of the shadows was some familiar faces from their past. Stepping in from the shadows was none other than bonnet wukong the atlas spartan from long ago. But by her side where about ten other spartans along with five more being some old faces in the form of paddy, star, miles, harlow, ramierez.
Immediately june smiled walking over offering harlow a highfive
"Aunt harlow! Miles! Star! Paddy!"june said with the rest of their names but not some as they where newbies to the ranks as they where like her family with paddy laughing patting the coyote on her head
"Heyya darling you doing okay out here being an ace op"paddy said as she grinned
"Oh i'm doing great besides how my dad is he being annoying like always"june asked as star held her laugh back
"Cho won't stop being a worry wort for his little june. But you aint so little anymore"star said before groping the coyte chest making her go red in the face smacking her hands away
As cardin was laughing right now"still weird as every despite being military nuts i take it"Cardin said as paddy offered a hand as he took it. But the two did some light arm wrestling in the air for a bit before stopping.
"Glad you all came to help out for this little mission along with being bodyguards"marrow said with a grin
"You kidding me wags i mean we came as soon as we could. Heck outside we even brought someone for you to come say hi. Your wives"miles said making the headmaster tail wag for a bit before eyeing them if their lying
"You messing with me because oh dear god"marrow said before feeling a presnace as someone wrapped their arm around him that being a familiar bunny faunus
"Awww theirs my lovely little waggers how have you been?"Cera said nuzzling him making the stonecold headmaster blush right now with his tail going fast as close behind the women was vance with octavia as the lynx was laughing right now
"Oh shit the other rabbit is here did you bring your kids too"vance joked as cera whined
"Courney stayed behind to watch them. But i came as soon as i can because someone didn't tell me i had another niece"cera said driving her finger in her husband chest scaring him as his tail flopped down almost to the ground
"I..i…i was busy with setting up for the festival dear"marrow argued as cera growled at him but ciel snapped her fingers
"Hey lets get back onto the topic at hand."ciel reminded as they did asani pacing around as she continued
"Look i'm probably heading back to atlas to do more research on this unfortunately. But right now we might have a possible lead on where we should check out. Maybe a possible lead on someone old hang out spot here in vacou"asani said making them eye each other as vance looked down
"Let me guess that little robot assassin we have"vance asked as she nodded gesturing for octavia who stepped forward
"Talk to rusty a little that girl told him more than she let on. She said she left some sort of lab but found herself in the desert of vacou. The closest place she went to was the town and i'm assuming close to that town is the lab she came from. If she escaped from it might be scraped or better yet their still their"octavia said making them pause for a moment as decker narrowed his gaze
"We head to this lab we get a lead on where the cult is hiding. This might be our best lead yet right now"decker said with vance scoffing
"Well then sir since my wife is running your merc group after you've retired on and off at times. Why don't we send a little surprise party to welcome them back."vance said smashing his fist together as the grizzled merc smirked at that giving a thumps up
"Sure thing kid bring one alive for us to question heck maybe go bring that robot girl with you"Dekcer suggested as it didn't sound half bad
"Not a bad idea lets head to the compound to grab her. I'll let the guards know that we'll need her"athena said as they began to leave but as they did glynda sighed hoping for the best wondering if ozpin was here how would he react to the cult return now
But right now back at the compound doing some light studying as a group where some of the teens. They invited them over as right now joining them was rob, vicktor, selene, lance, jonah,bora and rio. But with them also was viola, reva, trey, nubia, delilah,cleo. Though their was also thrud and chet but the two where busy messing around trying to balance books on their heads
"Come on one more and that makes ten"chet said trying to balance nine books on his head as thrud tried to put one on his head tossing it up. She hucked it up as it landed on the top as it swayed back and forth for a bit
Thrud moved her hands hoping it would stay still as it swayed one more time it stayed still
"Yes!"she cheered but as she did the books all fell down straight toward her as one landed one her head then another and the rest soon followed. With her falling down as viola growled with twitching ears
"Can you two stop messing around were trying to study!"viola shouted as bora groaned
"Please listen to her bad enough we had the toddlers come in here bothering us"bora said
"Hey are siblings are cute look at whittle pochi cuddling tootsie"cleo said pointing over at pochikaka cuddling tootsie who was crawling all over right now as the cat faunus giggled as her girlfriend did find that maybe a little cute.
Rob was sitting their annoyed right now as he sighed staring at his girlfriend
"Hey delilah could we maybe go study at the library or something not here?"rob asked as the bear faunus looked down
"I'm sorry i promised my siblings we could study here besides ummm…."she paused on her words as he looked annoyed again it seems
"Yeah toddler patrol so much fun than going on a date yeah"rob said with a rude tone making deliah look worried right now with trey eyeing him down closing for how hes talking to his sister keeping that in his head for later.
As lance was skimming his notes from all his classes right now he was studying very hard. Though with the change of professors they had to catch up on a few topics since then making grimm studies a little hard but he had some help from his friends.
Though coming in right now with some refreshments was audery, may, velvet, kamillia, shay and nyla. All carrying some drinks and sandwiches as also their was blake with her son dragging him in as kenji whined
"Come on i'll ace the exams without studying i'm sure"kenji said as she eyed him down
"Study for your exams mr or i'm making my father come here to give you a piece of his mind"blake said making him flinch as his grandfather ghira was stoic but disciplined when he didn't listen to his moms or even his mother yangs parents those longs talks where boring.
"Fine"kenji huffed as he picked up a book with reva groaning right now as her head hurt
"Can we just take a break for a half hour my head hurts from all this reading"reva whined as selene yanwed a little herself
"Shes right can we take a quick break for a moment"selene asked as they agreed to it
"Sure beats hanging around reading besides maybe we could use the hotspring later here to unwind"cleo suggested peeking some interest it seems as nyla laughed
"Maybe you should does wonders on your mind when your stressed. I use it at times after a long week"nyla admitted
"Or do little stretching sessions with kamillia here not that i'm one to judge"shay grinned making her two wives blush as kamillia chuckled
"Ohhh we umm well…uhh…cute little puppy"she said pointing at tootsie who yawned scratching herself. But suddenly the doors to the home opened as they where close to the front door. But right now velvet smelled a scent that made her wide eyed
"Oh no…no..no..no! I gotta run before she–"She was stopped as someone grabbed the bunny by her hips making her squeak as that someone was her big sister as cera grinned at her
"Hiiii little sister"Cera cooed with a grin as immediately running over hugging her legs was a little tot who was a little girl with bunny ears on her head along with them being black. But she seemed to be five years old while wearing a brown shirt with a black skirt on
"Auntie"the little girl said as cera squealed picking her up cuddling her in her arms right now
"Awww theirs my whittle bunny niece where are the rest of your sisters and brothers i need to cuddle them"Cera cooed scaring the teens as trey slowly got up to leave the room but he backed up into someone. Looking up he went wide eyed to see miles their who grinned
"Hey look its one of my niece kids"miles said as audery looked surprised laughing as she walked over hugging the man who was her uncle
"Uncle miles what are you doing here?"aurdery asked as he smirked at her
"Well lets just say uhhhh yeah theirs more than just me theirs more military grunts outside"miles said in stepped the others right now. But rio looked over smiling seeing her father aunt as she jumped up running over hugging her
"Aunt bonnet! Your here! Oh my godddd!"rio cheered as her tail swayed with bonnet laughing hugging her nephew daughter right now
"Well lookie here little rio grew up to be a fine young women how yah been kiddio?"bonnet asked
"Better that your here please tell me your staying. Help me mess with my dad or better yet my friend those two are swappin spit including rabbit ears with the cheetah guy"rio said ratting them out as cleo went meep as viola blushed very red in the face
With the spartans pausing for a moment as they began to laugh right now at her embarrassment. With paddy snickering as he leaned against a wall staring at them
"Dang the kids got her old man charm shocker"paddy teased as cera had a grin form on her face
"Ohhhh i wanna tease you but i can't since i gotta let them get to work"cera said right now to their surprise as lance eyed the military grunts here confused why their here right now
"Whats with the military being here is someone in trouble?"lance asked but bora had a thought cross her mind
"Are you here for trish that weird robot girl who saved us?"bora said surprising the spartans with harlow crossing her arms nodding
"We are we need her help with something but…hey youngblood hurry up and get geared up! We gotta leave in ten mikes!"she called to someone as some didn't know that person was someone close to them as vicktor was starry eyed
"Wait you guys know people in the military wait dumb quesiton a bunch of yours mom are in the military."vicktor said with ramierez chuckling about to light a cigarette inside.
"Look we got fans this is the dream"rameirez said about to light his cigarette but someone cleared their throat. That being may right now pointing over at someone
"Their is a baby over their toss that outside now"may growled pointing over at scotty holding his new niece as sakura was cooing and shuffling in her blanket. With star and bonnet going starry eyed at the sight of the baby
"Awww aren't you the cutest whittle thing every aren't you"Star cooed tickling her cheek as bonnet became a little giddy
"Can we wait an extra half hour i need to spoil a little baby"bonnet cooed to the teens surprise as they thought these where military grunts that where stoned killed killers. Not people who would gush so easily over a baby
Rob scoffed"man for atlas military you seemed to be gushing over a baby quickly. Remnant finest"rob said making the military eye him as harlow cracked her neck right now stepping forward
"Mind saying that again punk?"harlow asked as delilah flinched right now before shielding her boyfriend
"Sorry! My boyfriend is a little uh blunt at times….sorry"deliah said making them eye each other though soon enough something happened. As suddenly someone wrapped their arm pulling rob over the couch as that someone was a man claded in military gear sporting a skull mask. With him laughing placing the boy in a headlock scaring him
"The military are a bunch of sofites…your dealing with the best of the best kid. Say sorry or i can easily cripple you"he warned scaring the boy
"Sorry! Fine their hardcore or whatever let me go psycho!"he begged but eyeing him was the wives of a certain hybrid. Nyla whistles at the man glaring at him
"Dear let our daughter boyfriend go"nyla demanded surprising the teen who didn't know as the man sighed moving his mask up revealing it to be zane. As chet and vicktor jaws dropped in shock right now seeing the old professor in military gear
"Oh my god the professor went from teaching to the military! You changed careers fast!"chet shouted as vicktor tail swayed around
"V i forgot your dad is involved in the military this is so cool"vicktor said starry eyed making viola frown that hes fanboying over her dad with selene blinking for a moment
"Ummm wait…nubia is this a costume…please tell me its a costume"selene asked as nubia blushed for a moment
"Noooo but ummm dad please don't go on the military rant again its so boring"nubia said as bonnet rolled her eyes
"Hey come on were just borrowing your dad here for a good old slavery op we have here"bonnet said as they had a cover story right now with blake eyeing them down sharing a look with cardin who nodded
"Mind if i join you haven't stretched my legs out in a long time"blake suggested as they thought about it with vance nodding
"Sure your sneaky and light on your feet cat ears. Maybe this time you can one up wolf ears for taking down a slavery ring"vance said right now as they where getting ready to leave someone had to ask
"Can we come?"reva asked startling them with jonah staring at his father who stared at him
"Nope this is adults only. Oh by the way if you sneak out like last time well…."cardin paused thinking of a punishment but velvet had a perfect one in mind
"If you all sneak out again your all sparing against these soldiers including my husband. This time hes not holding back"velvet said as the man waved to his children scaring them as trey swallowed
"Where cool here lets just read boring text books"trey said with haste as they bought their lie as they left for their little mission
Once outside right now the group was filling in blake right now on what they planned on doing
"So where are we going exactly? Because i need to be here for my son and daughter"blake asked
"Relax its a quick mission were heading to some old lab possible near that village we found that trish girl at. Along with that grabbing her to lead us to said lab"vance said making paddy hesitated on that a little
"Aye we sure we should bring the las i mean what if i don't know poor thing has ptsd or whatever here"paddy commented as they where quiet for a moment as miles rolled his eyes
"Its some weird robot she might just be some clone man come on lets get moving. Lucky for us where leaving five of us behind"miles said
They kept walking through the compound right now for their little prisoner right now. But eventually they found the room she was kept in. opening it trish looked up with a surprised look seeing people in military gear. This made her on edge but cardin put his hands up
"Easy their girly were just here for your help"cardin said making her on guard now
"Then why is the military most skilled soilders here. Their deadly enough to slit someone throat in mere seconds"trish said as they got silent with ramierez taking this approach
"Hey kiddio relax we aint here to hurt you or anyone else. Besides were gonna need your help with something right now. Finding the psychos who well did this to yah i bet"ramaierez said gesturing to her metal parts right now
This made trish slink down for a moment with a scared look right now as she clenched her fist tight. With some of the spartans getting deju vu recalling someone that went through the same thing as their was immense silence between them before it was broken
"Fine what do you need me to do?"trish questioned as a soldier unlocked her cell with her slwoly stepping out still expecting to be shot but vance crossed his arms
"We need your helping finding the lab that you were at. My guess is from rusty report that its here in vacou somewhere right? This is where you ended up after escaping that lab"vance asked with the cyborgnetic girl thinking for a moment wincing in pain as she shook her head from her lack of memory
"I think…it was here…not…too far from…the town i went to"trish said rubbing her head
"Any clue which direction?"star asked as trish tried to think of more but nothing came to her right now as she shook her head
"No maybe if i was their i could remember but…..nevermind"trish said as they began to escort her out of the cell with guards watching her every move right now so she doens't try anything tricky.
Waiting for them outside was a manta airship right now as they quickly loaded her in but a couple spartans shoved her inside making vance eye them down for that. Then as they all got piled into the manta ship paddy gave the pilot the go ahead. The pilot nodded firing up the engines right before the ship began to take off for their destination.
As their ships engines roared to life they began to fly toward their designation. As they prepared for the horrors they might see down in whatever this lab might be. After maybe a full hour of flying they where flying in complete silence with the usually chatter between the soldiers right now but soon enough bonnet sighed
"So anything new happen for any of you expect the kid having another daughter"bonnet teased her old comrade
As cardin laughed"man you always keep having daughters whats with that luck?"he asked as the hybrid shrugged his shoulder
"No clue. Maybe its like your luck with wearing dresses thats happened twice now. Which is weird that it happened twice…best wedding day ever"zane teased back making him glare at him as the soldier erupted into laughter right now with ramierez coughing for a moment catching his breath
"Aye hes just like cho! Whats next you gonna adopt another kid like he did with june"ramierez asked as they left her behind to watch the others right now for their safety
Cardin sighed for a moment before staring at them grinning"well maybe yumi been wanting another kid and well she saw this kid in some orphanage. Shes thinking of adopting her she always did want a daughter. Shame little jonah almost killed her when he was born"he expalined to their surprise as blake smiled
"Good for you. But i'm happy with just two children right now"blake replied as vance rolled his eyes
"Well my little girl just had her fangs come in so yeah"vance boasted right now as his other child was a spider faunus like his wife. They eyed him down with bonnet coughing into her hand
"Your into getting tied up by nez…cough…cough"bonnet joked making him blush as his ears flopped over completely making them laugh as trish frowned annoyed right now
"Is all of your military this stupid? Your all joking around like its nothing but this is serious"trish said with the soldiers pausing for a moment as a spartan sighed
"Hey we can be serious but some humor gives us courage before we go down into whatever were walking into"the spartan said with star leaning against the wall holding her weapon close
"Hes got a point besides….heard from someone that a serial killer came back"star spoke up as they thought she was talking about who just escaped
"Rosemary. Yeah that psycho busted out of her jail cell releasing a few of her cult buddies don't worry were on high alert for her at the festival"vance said but the soldier meant someone else as bonnet stared at the hybrid who stared back at her as he snarled
"Vest aint gonna be messing with my family anymore. That bitch tried to touch my kids"zane growled as ramierez scoffed
"Let me guess shes buried six feet under"he asked
"I wish we had that bitch thrown into some dead mine a bit away from the house. Should have put her down years ago. Still saying how i was her destinated soulmate….wolfie happy shes dead"zane said with a cold tone as blake shook her head
"She forced her tongue down her throat she would be. But lets cut the engines soon okay"blake warned as they agreed on that
After some more flying soon enough the ship was making a landing at the village the expedition was at before. But as they pilled out trish looked around for a moment seeing the sun was still out right now as vance stepped forward by her side
"Which way kiddio?"vance asked softly asked she thought for a moment digging through her memories. But then she thought about something as slowly it came back to her before she pointed off to the south
"That way in the south i walked from their before winding up in that manor. I think its close to those mines we were at before"trish stated as they quickly got back in the manta
Flying in that direction right now the manta soon was searching for any sigh of life. But as they did something was moving down below in the desert right now as right now moving around where unseen eye members. With two of them right now holding a rocket launcher in hand
One of them slide the rocket into the enter point as they lifted it up pointing it at the airship. As they did they fired the trigger launching the rocket forward. The rocket began to soar through the air as inside the ship it began to beep with the pilot bracing
"Rockets incoming!"they called to the other who held on tight as the pilot flipped a switch launching their flares. The underside of the ship opened dropping flares that confused the rocket. As it followed them denating on impact but the resulting blast knocked them off force for a moment right now
"Crap…crap! Land this dam thing now!"harlow called out as the pilot grunted before pulling back right now with the controls. They pulled far enough to steady the ship as it made a crash landing onto the ground skidding through the sandy dunes rocking everyone inside all over the place as blake landed on the ground for a moment groaning
As the ship was coming to a half right now blake sat up rubbing her head from the hit
"Everyone okay?"she asked as a few spartans layed ontop of each other groaning with one sitting up crying in pain clutching their arm
"Fuck my arm! I…i think i broke it"they said as a couple treated them but vance looked out the window seeing a small jeep coming their way as he scoffed cocking his pistol back at the ready
"We got company"vance warned as they got ready
Cardin grabbed his mace at the ready"Then lets deal with them and move onto the la–"he was stoped as trish quickly reeled her foot back kicking the doors off the manta to their shock. Then swiftly she snatched mericles from zane sheath running straihgt into the fight
As the jeep was coming toward them a cultist went wide eyed seeing her coming straight for her as their were about four of them
"The rogue assassin! Warn the othe–"they were stopped as trish also stole a pistol firing it straight into their head killing them. The cultist fell forward dead as immedialty the other tried to leave but she raised the pistol. She fired a few shots piericng the jeep engines as the driver tried to drive but it stalled
Immediately before they could react trish leaped up swiftly slicing into one of the cultist chest. As one tried to shoot her but she swiflty dodged it before firing a shot into their head killing them. Then before the driver could leave she drove the katana through their chest ripping it out killing them as she looked up
As the others got out with the soldiers aiming weapons at her as vance stepped forward staring at her as the girl dropped the katana putting her hands up
"I made quick work of them"trish said as zane walked over taking his katana whipping the blood off softing his gaze toward the girl on how quick she was to kill
"Kid you killed them pretty quickly? Why'd you do that?"he asked as she looked at him for a moment scoffing
"They might have taken me back to those scineitist…i'm not going back their"trish growled making him worried about that but a few spartans pushed her forward as harlow examined the way the tracks came
"The tracks aren't that far my guess is a small outpost is close lets check it out"harlow said as they began to follow the tracks to their source
The group began to follow the tracks to their source right now for a while right now. But as they did they soon found the source after a half hour of walking. That being a small rock face that seemed like it was craved into the mountain. But they noticed something that being small movement outside of the cave as paddy kneeled down with his sniper
"How many we got?"cardin asked
Paddy stared through his scope spotting the enemies that attacked them spotting about seven of them walking around right now as he lowered his rifle sighing
"Bout seven shouldn't take us too long to deal with them if where quick"paddy said but miles eyed trish for a moment
"What about her we can't leave her here with the others she might escape"miles stated as a few soldiers had a suggestion
"Just bring her inside thats an easy fix besides maybe she has passcodes or biometrics for the outpost."a soldier suggested as bonnet thought about it for a moment sighing
"Fine shes with us when we clear it move in"bonnet said as her, blake, zane, cardin moved in with star.
Right now in the camp some of the cultist where doing their nightly patrols as one was walking alongside a wall right now. But as they did they heard movement making them point their weapon to the source seeing nothing as they snarled walking forward to investigate it.
But as they got close the wiring of wires where heard as suddenly a hand grabbed their head dragging them into the darkness. As they felt someone wrap their hands around their neck that someone being blake. The cultist kicked and tapped her arm but the cat faunus growled before squeezing on their neck snapping it as they went limp as she wasn;t letting any of them come near her kids alive.
With another two they were patrolling the area right now having casually banter right now as they patrolled
"Soon enough we will have our queen back by our side. Then she will rise again after the demon took her"the cultist said
"Shush now sister we don't know who is listening to us"the cultist said as the female culsit scoffed
"We are here to guard the lab those failures escaped from along with making sure the others move the things we left here"the cutlist said but someone laughed close by
"Ohhhh scar is hiding some goodies here…good i want a turn with his toys"a voice said startling them
Looking toward the source it was zane who grinned as they were scared by the sight of him. They aimed their weapons at him but immediately he lunged at them kicking one down with his foot hitting their stomach. Then drawing out his hidden blade he jammed it into one throat slitting it before leaping on the other silently driving it into their skull killing them
Elsewhere another cultist was walking around but they where tackled into the shadow before a loud neck snap was heard. Moving out of the shadows was bonnet who carefully stepped her way through the camp as she saw star drag a cultist around a corner choking them out till their neck broke. As she walked she bumped into someone
That being cardin holding a cultist who was dead in his arms as he dropped them to the ground nodding to her as she placed a finger on her ear piece
"Were clear move in"bonnet said as the others came in to the sight with some of the spartans forming a perimeter as harlow scanned the area for a bit with a confused look
"Man i don't see anything this better not be some trick girly if it is your dead meat"harlow said but trish looked around before laying her eyes on something. That being an old looking piece of wood just in the middle of the sand as vance eyed it.
Walking over he tried to move it whistling"need a hand here"he called out as cardin and some others walked over. With some effort they pushed the wood out of the way to reveal a metal panel in the earth itself as miles scoffed cocking his rifle with a new round in the chamber
"Well lookie here an underground lab….yeah this aint gonna be fun is it?"he asked as it never was as trish eyed it nervously to even be back here right now as they may need to go down into watts new lab filled with his experiments.
It seems that the team found more than just a simple base it seems another underground lab was in vacou after all these years. Though their morals seemed to have been tossed away when it comes to their childrens safety. If you start complaining oh they would never do that, in this universe people can change. Along with that if you had a kid would you protect them if someone tried to hurt them. Sorry for the rant but thanks for reading!
