ATTENTION! IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you started reading Harry Potter: SHIELD and Sorcery before July 27th, 2024 then I would highly suggest you start over.

I have gone through and edited my previous chapters, and added new ones to expand on Harry's time in the Marvel Universe.

Some things will be very similar and others were deleted and rewritten from the ground up. I'm not saying there won't still be problems with grammar or misspellings, it is very hard to see your own mistakes when writing.

Also Sorry I've been MIA for a few days I was just finishing this up and will now be reposting and adding new and old chapters.

Thanks for reading

After arguably the weirdest meeting of his life, Coulson found himself riding back up to Fury's office just two hours after leaving it. Fury stood at the window looking out at DC.. "Coulson reporting in after initiating the overwatch protocol, sir. I have a level 9 situation, Mike Alpha Kilo Echo niner niner priority." Coulson stood with his hands clasped in front.

Fury first shot him a pointed look before walking over to his desk and pressing a button. The whole room went dark before the lights came back up. Buzzing was coming from the walls and all devices in the room lost signal. "You know I hate that call-out. So what's the rundown?"

"We have someone looking for you." Coulson then proceeded to explain what had happened, what he was told about the potential asset, his assumed skill-set, and the so-called incentives.

Fury was glaring at the ring in his hand, hating himself for being tempted by this one item. He sighed before slipping it on, slightly surprised when it fit perfectly. "Tell him we can meet. We'll go to the warehouse."

The next night Harry walked into a dark warehouse with only a table and two chairs directly under a spotlight. He stepped up to the spy and held out a hand. "Good evening Fury, glad you liked my gift." He nodded toward the ring on Fury's left thumb.

Fury glowered at him for a moment before shaking his hand. Fury nodded at the table "Take a seat Potter. I have some questions."

Harry nodded expecting something like this. "Sure. I can't say I'm an open book, but I can tell you a lot."

Fury proceeded to basically interrogate Harry over the next hour. Asking about his family, where he lived, his average day before the demons attacked, favorite sport, team, and vehicles or transportation. He asked questions about what he could bring to the table, how he knew about The Initiative, what he could tell him about the threat, and why he picked S.H.I.E.L.D.. Finally Fury sat on the chair he hadn't used yet. Harry gave him a slightly annoyed look. "I know I implied you could ask me anything, but I didn't think you would actually ask me everything."

Fury smirked at him, "That was nothing. If I didn't know you were from another world before this meeting I wouldn't have stopped at so few questions."

Harry gave the most exaggerated eye-roll he could, before leaning back and grabbing the glass of water that he conjured with a wave of his hand. After quenching his thirst he looked over at Fury who started glaring at him, "Oh I'm sorry, are you thirsty?"

Fury didn't respond, instead moving on to the tablet that he pulled out of his coat. "This is the current roster for the Avengers Initiative that I have." Harry picked up the tablet and swiped through the list. He saw some names he recognized from his travels and research; Hulk (Bruce Banner), Beast (Henry McCoy), Black Widow (Natasha Romanov), Hawkeye (Clint Barton), Mockingbird (Agent 33 Bobi Morse), and Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers). "These are some of the best I have with some members whose abilities may help us." He then slid a folder across the table, "This is paperwork to make sure you exist. The only people who will know where you come from will be the people you tell."

Harry looked over his new documents; passport, drivers license, birth certificate, and resident visa. Included was a cellphone and wallet. "Thanks for that. Now I can get an actual hotel room instead of that motel off the highway." Harry quipped with a grin. Fury continued to give a blank if slightly annoyed look. He thought Fury just might be more fun to rile up than Wong.

"Now we need to go over your… expertise and preferred jobs." Fury said and waited expectantly for Harry.

Harry nodded and thought for a moment on what he would be doing, "Well I have the skillset for infiltration and rescue ops. I can get anyone out of anywhere as long as they don't have any mystical elements on their side. I can do interrogation, but don't like to and I have an interest in creation. So, I could also be an extremely highly valued quartermaster, just remember that my items can be reclaimed anytime I want if they are being misused."

Fury thought over that new information, "When you say mystical elements?"

"Well, as I'm sure Coulson told you, I am a wizard. I can use magic to banish spirits, fight demons, and control creatures. There are other people in the world who commune with dimensional entities and can harness that power giving them powers akin to magic." Harry finished. Fury sat there thinking over areas he could be useful while Harry was thinking of old Mad-eye Moody. Fury reminded him so much of the old auror it was uncanny, supremely paranoid, missing an eye, spy, and generally prickly demeanor. Thinking of Mad-eye made him think of the night they lost him and Hedwig. Even after decades of war and journeys he still missed his feathered companion. The one friend who had been through everything with him and the Dursleys.

"Potter!" Fury shouted and Harry snapped back into the room, "Back from wherever you went?"

"Sorry I got lost in my memories." Fury gave him a look that could barely be considered sympathetic, "You just reminded me of someone from my past is all." Fury just stared at him in that blank way that Coulson did. "He was an old Auror, highly specialized magic police force, that was just as paranoid as you, with a missing eye to boot."

Fury gave him an unimpressed look before continuing, "As I was trying to say earlier. We will have plenty for you to do especially with the amount of strange activity increasing all over the world." Fury gave a pointed nod towards the door. "I'll call you soon. Do you have a preferred moniker? Something to go by in the field?"

Harry gave it a thought, "Call me Summoner."

It was only two days later that Coulson came to get him from his new hotel room. As they were heading down into the garage Harry asked, "So what are we doing today? Find a demon rampaging across a cityscape?"

Coulson barely side eyed him "No. Today you're going to meet the high echelons of the SHIELD team."

Harry gave a small smile, "Interesting. If you don't mine I'll just get into my persona then. Secret identity and all that."

Coulson gave him a questioning look, "Why? You already showed your identity to me and Fury."

Harry's hair started muting to a light brown color and his eyes a soft chocolate brown, his clothes changed from jeans and a button up to tight fitting black clothes in the style of his monk robes. "Yes but while I trust you and Fury, the rest of SHIELD is a complete non-entity to me. I don't typically trust government types and wouldn't have trusted Fury or you without a little push from a friend of mine."

Coulson just gave a nod as they exited the elevator and moved to a black sedan. Both got in and took a short trip to the Triskelion. Coulson just sat there stone-faced while driving and Harry watched the passing scenery. It only took a few minutes to pull into the garage of their destination where they got into another elevator. "So who am I meeting today? Anyone to be wary of?"

"There are two very high level agents joining us today. Both are very good at what they do, other than that a member of the World Security Council will be joining us." Coulson explained.

"Ugh, politicians, the bane of my existence." Harry said with a bit of resignation.

Coulson just gave a small smile before they exited the elevator and moved past the secretary and entered a large office. Upon entering three things were obvious; one, the redhead standing in the corner was the most dangerous person in the room, two, she was extremely attractive, three, Fury doesn't like politicians either if that scowl on his face is anything to go by.

Standing next to Fury is a man that gave off vibes similar to Lucius Malfoy, schmoozer and politician extraordinaire. He was of average height, wore an expensive suit, and had one of those 'I know I'm better than everyone here' looks on his face. Behind him was a rough looking military type with a short beard and SHIELD fatigues on. Standing next to the sexy redhead as another guy with dirty blond hair and a bow on his back leaning casually against the wall.

"Summoner, glad you could finally join us." Fury said with all the patience of a dog with a bone. Meaning none. "This is Councilman Alexander Pierce, the main liaison of SHIELD and the World Security Council."

Harry just raised a brow at him and looked to Pierce, "Councilman." He had no desire to shake this man's hand and just gave a short nod. Pierce seemed upset by that but Fury didn't care and moved on.

"You of course know Coulson," he said nodding at Coulson, "The man behind the Councilman is Bock Rumlow, a strike team captain brought in by the Councilman." Pierce's frown got a little more pronounced when Fury segregated Rumlow. Rumlow just gave a short nod and continued to stand watch.

Fury continued, "In the corner you have Clint Barton codename Hawkeye, next to him is Natasha Romanov codename Black Widow." Harry's eyes rose when he heard her moniker.

"Black Widow?" Harry asked as she gave him an evaluating look. When he spoke she gave him a teasing smile and small wink. For reasons unknown he shivered slightly and turned back to Fury.

"Yes. Councilman Pierce wanted to meet the new recruit and I wanted to introduce you to the main people you will be teaming up with." Fury finished.

"I was surprised when Fury contacted me about a new recruit with such high clearances." Pierce added on. Rumlow snorted behind him, "Something you want to add Rumlow?" Pierce asked.

"Doesn't seem like anything special to me." Rumlow snorted, resting his hands on his vest. Harry gained a mischievous look and Fury got a bad feeling before Harry disappeared and Rumlow had a sword resting on his shoulder.

"Tsk tsk tsk, I expected better with that level of shit talking." Everyone besides Fury and Coulson seemed surprised at my speed, whereas Fury and Coulson knew I could teleport of sorts.

Rumlow had a small bit of sweat appear on his brow. "Alright Summoner, that is enough."

Harry snorted and tagged Rumlow with a delayed hair coloring spell that would turn his hair pink for a week before sheathing his sword and stepping back only to reappear next to Coulson. "Sorry, Councilman, I figured it would be better to show my skill before anyone got the idea I wasn't worth the paperwork to hire me."

Pierce gave him a more calculating look that Harry didn't like and looked over at Fury, "Good job Fury. He seems like an excellent acquisition." Fury just nodded. "Well there are things that need doing. Fury." Pierce just nodded at Fury before leaving with Rumlow right on his tail giving Harry a rather nasty look.

Harry waited half a beat when Pierce was gone, "Well I hate that guy already and his butt buddy isn't much better."

Coulson gave a mall smile while Hawkeye or Clint laughed out loud. Fury just sent them all a glare before he returned to the seat behind his desk. "Don't worry about the council. I handle the reports and day to day with all of them."

Harry pretended to wipe away sweat from his forehead, "Thank goodness. I might actually kill him if I had to go day to day with someone that self important."

Natasha cracked a small smile at that while Clint was still chuckling. He walked up and shook Harry's hand. "I think we will get along just fine." Harry gave him a big grin and changed Clints hair to a red approximating Natasha's.] who he gave a big wink to.

At that Coulson actually chuckled while Natasha started laughing. Clint just looked confused while Natasha walked up and bumped Clint's shoulder, "Nice hair." Clint didn't know what was going on until he saw his reflection in the metal siding of the room.

"Hey! How the hell did you do that?" Harry laughed and changed it back with an over exaggerated wave of his hand.

"That my good archer is magic." Both Clint and Natasha gave him more interested looks than before. "Watch this." Harry pulled his hands out in front of himself and pulled a quarter out of thin air. Natasha and Clint just gave him deadpan looks until he tossed the coin and it transformed into a large cat. When both freaked out he laughed and bumped his shoulder against Coulson who was hiding a small grin. "See magic!"

Fury, being his typical self, just glared at them all. "That's great. Now get out of my office!" Harry just laughed and got dragged away by Clint who was asking a million questions about magic. While Natasha was holding the cat, petting it, Coulson walked next to her, leaving Fury to think over some things as he played with the small and unassuming gold ring on his finger.
