Chapter 7:Strange Lab Part 2
The team carefully made their way down into the lab entrance with it being a set of stairs right now. As they did they left about four spartans up top with some of them with them along with harlow and paddy staying with them. But as they walked down bonnet groaned
"Come on can they have a normal lab built above ground and not below ground for once. I hate these places"bonnet commented
"Oh you mean how we might find screw up stuff down here like the rest of them"cardin spat back not liking this himself as blake groaned
"I should have stayed back at the house. If i die down here i'm blaming you all for this"blake said with a nearby spartan laughing
As they wore the traditional uniform with them also sporting a tactical vest colored black over their uniform. Along with sporting a knife sheath on their hip with them having on a few pouches around their hips for their ammo. But they also sported a half mask with a pair of fangs on it as they had a dark skin complexion seeming male in appearance.
Another one was a women in appearance it seems who had a slim but athletic figure to her. Though she also had on the traditional spartan uniforms but instead she wore a helmet with a balaclava mask on but underneath it peeked out a fair skin color and a set of red eyes. With her sporting a assault rifle in hand
"Come on chica we totally got this i mean we've handle crazy shit last week. A bunch of grimm controlled by some psycho"the soldier said as the female soilder whined
"This is so nerve racking i'm scared right now"she said with miles whistling at the two
"Omar, bowie cut the dam chatter you two"miles ordered as the two of them nodded to him
The team kept moving ahead right now slowly through the lab right now as they did they found another heavy duty door. With a few spartans working on the door as cardin was having a sense of deju vu again as he wanted to test something
"We should test comms real quick"Cardin said
"Uhhhh why should we do that?"a soldier asked as bonnet scoffed
"Good thinking might be another one of scars murder mazes"bonnet said making the other spartans eye her as a few of them where new to this as one flinched
"M-murder maze! uhhh cap i didn't sign up to die in some dam maze!"a spartan shouted with miles groaning right now staring at them
"You sighed up for this mission soldier besides judging by the size of the place and the guards its not that big. "Miles stated
"Which is an assumption be on guard for anything kiddios"star said as they did with the spartans working on the door right now before it opened. They all aimed their weapons at the ready for anything right now they where met by something else that being the said lab they where in right now.
The entire place was a mess right now with some paper spread around the place along with that their were some crates around like they where in the midst of packing. But their was also some tubes in the room making them weary but they were empty except for a couple of them right now. Though their was one thing that was strange
That being a few rotting corpses in the room with files still buzzing around them as bowie gagged a little holding it back but threw her mask up puking on the ground coughing at the sight as zane eyed her
"New to this kid?"he asked as she whipped her mouth off nodding
"Ummm uh…j-just uh joined sir"bowie siad with a nervous tone as miles laughed
"Eh kid relax you just joined but this guy here joined at the age of fifteen. Hes got some balls on him"miles jokes as the hybrid rolled his eyes as they stepped inside of the place right now.
As they did vance eyed the entire room right now scanning the place for any sigh of activity. But he eyed those corpses importantly as he investigated them. As he knelt down he studied them guessing they where dead for weeks with the smell not being great for him but he pushed through it. Studying their bodies he found one thing apperent their where slash wounds across their chest right now
"Well lookie here someone gutted these guys and it wasn;t us"vance called out as cardin looked around
"But who the hell did all of this? I mean these are operatives their tough to defeat but who could have done this"cardin said but blake eyed one person that being trish but noticed something
Trish stood their right now staring at the sight of the lab right now starting to shake right now. With her blinking for a moment as a flash happened showing her in this very lab right now. As she saw herself slicing and cutting her way through these very people to escape through these doors. She saw herself running out of these doors to her freedom but a flash in her mind happened again for a brief moment as she winced in pain
She cried slightly in pain falling to her knees clutching her head catching their attention as omar aimed his weapon at her
"The hells up with the robot? She gonna attack us?"omar asked with a worried tone as he placed a figner near the trigger but blake stepped forward
"Blake back up she might attack you"bonnet warned as the cat faunus stepped forward slowly reaching a hand out but trish gasped panting right now backing up scared from her movements right now
This surprised some especially the veteran spartans right now seeing that reaction with blake putting her hands up to ease her
"Its okay…hey its okay are…are you okay?"blake asked as trish looked around the place right now scared shaking a little at this place
"I…i…i..can't stay here…no..no…their gonna put me back…their gonna tear me open again…i'm gonna be torn open again"trish quietly muttered in fear but blake heard it staring at vance who soften his gaze sighing right now
"I'm taking her topside investigate without me shes getting scared here"vance said walking forward to take her but something beeped in the room. Before suddenly the doors to the lab slammed open stunning them right now as they all drew their weapons with the lights starting to turn on at that moment as a laughter was heard in the lab
"Lookie here it seems history repeats itself"a familiar voice said as they saw a tv light up in the room as on the screen was scar watts sitting on a office chair in some study it seems as he smiled at them. With cardin scoffing
"Well lookie here scar watts! How yah been since the shadow war prick?"cardin asked as scar laughed at him sighing
"Better winchester its been a long time since we last saw each other. But…mhmmm i think i recall a familiar scenario like this didn't i kill a few spartans and spec ops in atlas in my little trap maze"scar taunted making bonnet growl at him but zane stepped forward removing his mask glaring at him right now as the scineitist noticed him glaring back
The two of them stared each other down in silence right now waiting for the first to speak right now as the hybrid smirked at him
"Shirmp dick says what?"zane taunted as he fell for it
"What?"scar replied on instinct as the hybrid laughed right now at him that he fell for that little trick with bonnet cracking a small smile. As vance eyed his cousin that he just had to do that making scar growl in complete anger right now that he did that
"Oh whoa this guy fell for a pretty old trick in the book"omar said laughing right now as the nearby spartans chuckled with the scientist snarling before steadying himself sighing
"I forgot how childish you are at times. But welcome to my new lab of this era a little place where i've worked on several special little projects of the past. I see you have one of mine designation x-74 a covert ops assassin. I put alot of work into you are you ready to come home now dear"scar asked
But trish refused to answer panting in fear hugging herself visible shaking right now being back here on the verge of tears. As the man smiled at that with cardin noticing that scoffing at him guessing one thing
"You aint here i'm guessing to say hi like last time in atlas right?"cardin asked as he was right
Scar playfully clapped on the other side of the screen"Your right i'm not really here and good luck tracing my signal. I'm just saying hello after you tripped my silent alarms here besides my men are already working on torching this place. Their almost done your too late actually…once their done they'll be retrieving my new little project i'm making just for all of you"scar said making the hybrid scoff at him
"Oh let me guess robot assassins? Wait grimm knights…copying your dear old dead daddy whats next you gonna tell us something shocking"zane taunted but the man smirked at him for a moment before grinning on the screen telling him something
"How is your family freak? Because my son has told me many things of whats been going on vacou lately"scar said which made them pause for a moment
As they all stood in complete shock hearing that he has a son with vance eyes widening in disgust. Bonnet looked at the screen gagging right now thinking some deranged lunatic probably bedded him. With cardin flinching right now at the thought of that
"You have a kid? Ughhhh who the hell would fall for you"cardin said as the man rolled his eyes
"A lovely women but i'm not saying more besides i heard rumors of you having another hellspawn. It be a shame for me to send my assassin to well…do what x-43 did to that bastard lawson. Gut them till their little voices give out"scar siad with a grin toward the hybrid
Zane stood their for a moment hearing those words of him threatening his family, his children right now as he snapped. He roared in rage going into his titan form grabbing a nearby desk before putting it in with all his might. Then he threw the desk straight into the screen smashing it as it fell to pieces to the ground right now sparking to life occasionally as the speaker still worked
"Temper problems are still a thing with you well bye bye…..unfortuanly this was a small lab of mine not like my new one. Goodbye old friends tell that whore rabbit i said hello"scar said as the speakers turned off with the door beeping on the other side. But zane growled in rage slamming his hands into a metal desk bending it as he seethed in rage
"That…that…arghhhh! If he lays a hand on either of my kids i'm tearing him in half!"he shouted in rage as miles placed a hand on him making him stare back as he sighed molting his armor away as it turned to dust.
"Come on we gotta keep mooving right now see what their hauling down here"bonnet ordered as they agreed
"Yeah but lets keep our guard he might be lying about those bobby traps. Psycho loves himself bobby traps"star replied as they began to walk through the doors with bowie swallowing hard for a moment scared hearing that right now for a moment
"B-bobby traps…does he um…well…like doing that"bowie asked scared as bonnet eyed her nodding
"This little freak is a dam geniuses at heart i guess. But all he does is be crazy like his dear old dad. Lucky for us hes in the dirt this time though i wonder if he was still here how'd he react to having some kid apparently"bonnet stated as miles rolled his eyes
"Uhhh i'm still freaked out hearing that nut has a kid….who the hell would sleep with that guy?"miles asked as vance scoffed guiding trish right now who was shaking like a leaf right now seeming very scared
"No clue but….hey take her for a second"he said to star who took her as he walked ahead toward his friends as cardin stared at him
"Whats up fish boy?"cardin asked as the lynx eyed the girl with them for a moment softing his gaze
"Okay is it me or is she freaked out to be done here? I mean if this lab is like the ones we've seen before she might well uhh have a bit of trauma here"vance commented as they thought about it with blake sighing
"Its obvious she does look the quicker where out of here the better. Besides….we need to find out what their hauling out of here for their secret project"blake said as they kept moving on through the facility
With the group continued to walk through the facility they didn't meet any resistance which concerned them right now. But as they where nearing some doors noises were heard on the other side as slowly a spartan opened the door seeing something
"Hey you all might wanna see this"they whispered slowly opening the door as they stepped inside somewhere
That place being some sort of loading dock but right now they saw something that being a few talon soldiers and cultist right now. But they where busy doing something right now as they where loading crates and canisters onto a truck. As leading this operation was braden who was busy chewing out one of his workers
"God dammit you idiot! Drop these canisters and where all dead from it do you hear me? "Braden said to the worker who flinched
"Sorry boss dam things are heavy. But why are we hauling this crap anyway?"the merc asked as the man sighed
"We don't get payed to ask questions complete the job and then we leave. Better yet do it quicker and i won't shoot you in the head"braden threatened scaring his worker who got to work faster on their product with cardin eyeing this sight
"Well i'll be we got some familiar faces isn't that the merc your boys mentioned that was in vale?"cardin asked as vance nodded
"And the one june spotted when the kids where doing their own investigation. Okay we gotta take them down quickly and quietly"vance said as they where about to attack but accidental omar hit a box that made the contents spill out. A loud crashing noise was heard echoing in the storage area right now
This caught the cultist attention as they looked over staring at them. Immediately they all began to open fire onto them as they all ducked but one spartan was unlucky getting filled with lead falling dead on the ground as miles growled
"Dammit omar! You had to make some noise!"he shouted firing back at their attacker with omar groaning right now
"Sorry! I didn't see the box full of crap!"he shouted before firing back nailing a cultist in the head killing them. Their was an intene fire fight between them right now with braden growling at this. With him trying to think of something he eyed a medium sized canister smiling right now
Walking over to it he began to twist a valve on it for a moment as suddenly a timer appeared on it. Then he whistled to a operative who laughed walking over as the two grabbed the ends of it before moving it back and forth. Then with all their might they threw it toward them as it clanked to the ground landing by a couple spartans feet right now alongside star who looked confused
"What the hell?"she muttered as braden smiled aiming his pistol at the canister pressing the trigger. Immediately a gunshot rang out as the gas canister was pierced as it made the canister exploded. Once it made impact from the canister a yellow gas exited the canister.
"What the heck is this stuff?"the spartan questioned getting close to it as blake eyed him
"Don't get close to it!"blake called out ducking from gunfire before returning fire back at them. But it was too late as the soldier got close the gas seeped into their mask before they started to gag and cough right now. With the second one unfortunately getting close to it as star backed up right now in shock
Before suddenly the first soldier threw their mask off gagging and coughing before puking on the ground. Though they started to suddenly puke blood right now as they gasped for air with purple veins appearing under their eyes as they gagged and coughed right now
"I…i can't breathe…it…it hurts..make it stop…i..i…."the soldier crooked on their last words falling dead on the dead with blood pooling from their mouth. The second soilder had the same fate screaming as they spat out large qualities of blood falling face first onto the ground dead.
As they all began to back up from the gas"Fuck! Retreat don't let the gas near you!"Vance called out as they began to retreat with braden laughing waving to them
"Bye bye suckers! This is my gift to you!"braden said as his men and the cultist loaded into trucks driving through a secret escape tunnel through the place. With the others they got to the doors as bonnet slammed through it holding it open
"Come on hurry up!"bonnet said as they all began to run toward it but omar tripped on the ground groaning looking back seeing the gas coming toward him as he backed up in fear. But just in time zane scooped him up to his feet jumping toward the door landing on his side.
Bonnet immeidaly slammed it shut as lucky for them the door was airtight with cardin peering into the room that had some gas in the room right now
"What the…what is that stuff?"cardin asked as blake panted for a moment catching her breath
"My guess its watts secret weapon that gas…but….they got away with more of it i guess"blake said with bowie panting right now in fear from what just happened as star groaned right now holding her head in pain
"Hey you good over here?"miles asked but star began to heave and gag before spitting up some blood groaning as she fell to her side. With bonnet rushing to her side in shock
"What but she didn't inhale that crap…what the…hey…hey stay awake. Star….star!?"bonnet shouted as couple medics rushed to her side as one pressed their fingers on her neck
"Pulse is steady but we gotta get here topside fast"the soldier said as quickly they began to carry her out. Though as they where getting ready to leave right now blake eyed another room close by
Hesitantly she walked over to it placing a hand on the doorhandle twisting it to open it to reveal its contents. As she slowly opened the door she threw it open before gasping backing up right now on what she seeing
"Hey….cat ears you good over here what you find something nasty?"cardin asked as the cat faunus stared at them with wide eyes
"Their…their are bodies"blake simply said making them all walk over to the room before going wide eyed in shock
As inside of the room was a litter of medical and surgical equipment. But their was also several piece of metal and prosthetics layed around the room. Though another thing was apparent that being bodies several bodies in the room. They were managled beyond remain with some of them looking to be human, faunus and hybrids. Their was a sicking stench in the room as bowie covered her mouth before puking at the sight of such horrors
With bonnet looking stunned seeing this sight again after all these years with cardin looking completely disgusted by the sight. As they carefully walked inside with vance eyeing a few of the bodies
"This is…oh don't tell me missing people"Vance asked as a spartan checked a random bodie for a moment staring at it
"No clue gotta do a trace on who they are with the morgue"the spartan said but right now zane stared at the bodie for a moment recalling the lab he was at as this made him sick to his core. Though with one person they stared at the sight with a horrified look
As trish stared at the bodies before her she began to feel her pulse actually pick up pace. With her starting to take rapid and quick breaths with her choking on a sob. As the poor girl began to pant before falling to her knees beginning to cry her eyes out right now beginning to shake as her head let out a piercing headache making her cry out in pain.
This caught their attention with miles walking over with a shocked look seeing her crying her eyes out muttering to herself
"Oh crap uhhh got a problem here girly is freaking out"miles called out as a spartan scoffed
"Bots probably faking it to try and kill us get up"a spartan said kicking her making her flinch in pain from the hit sobbing still. But someone shoved the spartan to the ground as they looked up seeing a revolver in their face that being zane who removed his mask staring at him with daggers then he eyed trish for a moment
"Lets head back to the compound we can fill in the others. This place isn't right"zane said as they began to regroup with the others topside. But as they got onto a new manta for their way back zane eyed the girl right now who was wrapped up in a blanket as he saw something similiar about her….that being the pain he went through because of watts.
But back at the compound right now the others where now taking a break from studying. As right now cera was busy gushing quietly over a few of her nieces and nephew with her younger sister frowning right now as she held the little rabbit faunus from early
"Awww coco junior is so adorable yes you are…yes you are"Cera cooed nuzzling her nose against her as the tot here was named after the longtime leader and friend of velvet. Velvet growled taking her daughter back from her big sister
"Stop it! You've been hugging all my kids for the past few hours!"velvet shouted right now as in the room with them now was ling, yori who was in her wheelchair as ciel was out of hers as she could walk but she was forced to sit down. Their was also cora sighing right now as she stretched her back out
"Come on its adorable besides my mother always love to see her grandkids"cora said as yori sighed
"You mean how that one won't stop gushing over them"yori said pointing at a certain tiger that being nadia still cuddling her grandkids everyday as katherine was also their laughing for a moment
"But its cute. Though surprised to see you here dear how is atlas this time right now?"katherine asked
"Yeah because i always hear its cold their that true?"vicktor asked with cera sighing
"Its cold their everyday of my life but hey its got its perks. Oh by the way pana says hi and wishes she could come but well running her club and the burrow their takes alot of her time"cera said confusing some as bora looked over
"Who are you talking about?"bora asked as loki was their sipping some tea setting his cup down
"Ohhhh my aunt shes this club owner of some place called the octopus. Heads up shes a major well…she gets handsy at times"loki warned making some scared as ling shivered
"That women is a teasing machine shes worse than raz and natalia combined along with shizuka"ling warned scaring some of her kids being reminded of her as cleo winced a little
"Right aunt pana great but uhh what should we do now? I mean we've studied all day because right now i'm tired and bored"cleo admitted as rob eyed his girlfiend
"Hey deliah lets get out of here and head back to my place. "Rob said but the bear faunus hesitated for a moment
"Sorry i'm kinda not ready for umm that"deliah said making him roll his eyes at her right now for that scoffing hurting her feeling a little. With trey eyeing him for that again right now. But soon enough the doors to the home opened as in stepped the others
Nou noticed her mother running over hugging her legs"momma back"She cheered as blake rubbed her head gently with omar groaning as he fell flat on his face in the home.
"Ughhh i hated that op it was crazy"omar said with a tired look as bowie was still shivering with the adults sharing looks as katherine walked over worried
"Is everything alright? Did something happen?"katherine asked as she quickly eyed the teens and children here with vance motioing her to not ask further questions. But chet zipped over
"So did you guys stop those slavers or something"Chet asked excited right now as the adults paused as cardin sighed
"Eh we did but uhh well….ehhh slavers are now using some weird gas"cardin said the partial truth cluing the others in on what they found right now as bonnet sighed
"Oh yeah i love how bandits have gas attacks now…i need a shower right now because star got hospitlized because of that crap"bonnet said making june ear flop over as her tail sagged
"Noooo not auntie is she going to be okay"june cried with worry as her surgant uncle patted her head for a moment sighing
"She'll be fine sweetie she just sick from what the medics told us but…yeah we need a shower right now"zane stated as an idea came to cera mind right now
"Just take a little visit to the bathouse it'll be nice to just cool down and clean up after a long day"cera suggested as they liked it
"Ohhh i like that idea lets go"thrud said walking ahead but as they where getting ready to go loki noticed trish right now as he sighed
"Welp time to put her back in her cell. Come here kid"loki said reaching out to grab her but trish visible backed up right now shaking startling him. As he stared at his cousin shaking his head as the teens walked ahead with him approaching katherine for a moment
"Kath take her to calm down she aint going back in that cell"zane said surprising them as ciel looked at him like he was crazy
"Shes one of his assassin. Dear we need to lock her up for her own good"ciel said but miles stepped forward arguing that
"Ma'am we found a whole heep of dead bodies down their and….she had a dam panic attack she aint right in the head. She uhhh needs some actually sleep"miles warned making them pause for a moment as katherine soften her gaze slowly reaching out to the girl but she flinched from the gentle touch
"Its okay dear just follow me we can get you situated somewhere nice"katherine said gently taking her away with velvet softening her gaze
"I'll have some guards watch her but i need a shower desperately right now."velvet said as they headed off to the bathhouse
Once they arrived at the bathhouse right now they where all in the process of getting changed out of their clothes. Along with that slipping on some robes for the evening but as they got inside of the bathouse they noticed the walls down with viola covering herself with a red face seeing her boyfriend their who blushed back
"Why are the walls down!"She screeched as nubia screched covering herself for dear life before grabbing a bucket
"Perverts!'she screeched tossing the bucket nailing chet in the head who fell down groaning right now in pain. With the few soldier who joined them staring at a certain culprit being bonnet who whistles to play innocent
"Wukong put the dam shutter back on now"harlow warned but the monkey faunus grinned before moving away from the controls scaring them. As the control where a little smashed up
"Oh no the controls are smashed up that means everyone gotta share"bonnet cooed with a whistle as also in the bathouse joining them was tex, kirko, quinn, xiu, juno who sighed right now
"Lets just get in please i rather not have you all freak out"juno sighed getting into the waters as other followed suit right now. With a mad red delilah with a towel wrapped around her body covering most of it. But it showed off her toned arms and legs and bust right now slightly to the others. While selene was blushing mad red showing off toned arms and legs along her modest bust size. Though she had the towel reaching her middle thighs hoping that lance didn;t peek at her. Then it was thrud who showed off her very toned arms and legs along with having the towel reach her upper thigh without a care in the world letting her hair out right now luckily they made her clean the leafs out of her hair before hand.
Then their was cora who was showing off her long legs along with letting her pink hair float in the waters. But she also showed off her large bust size tucked inside her towel though she had a relaxed look. Then their was kamila who had the towel covering most of her body as it covered it toward her middle thighs. But she showed off alot of clevage along with her toned and long legs with her curves on display. Then their was juno showing off her body with her arm slits being on display as well with her showing off her curves and large bust for all to see. With her wearing a towel that reached her knees to remain decent.
While their was quinn who was blushing slightly as her white skin made it very obvious. With her sporting a towel around her waist to remain decent as her bust floated like buoys in the water below. Though her tail swayed and wag through the waters right now. Then their was tex who was relaxed right now showing off her toned arms and legs with her curvy figure. But she also wore a towel covering most of her body but she let her hair down in the water as it floated around.
The next was kirko who was humming with her ears flopped over in bliss from the waters. As she had her tail swayin through the water as the towel covered most of her body until her upper thighs. With her long hair being in the water as she showed off her curves to her audience right now. Then it was yori who was a surprise right now as she was swaying her tail happily in the water as she covered her body with a towel. Though she shoed off her curves with her bust right now as the fish seemed to love the water.
While the boys right now where embarrassed but also getting deathglares from the one adult man here. As lance was showing off his toned arms and legs along with his abs as he had the towel covering his lower waist. With chet grinning like an idiot as he showed off his toned arms and legs with his stomach smoothed out.
But then their was vicktor who tail kept swaying around in the water right now as his ears kept twitching. While he had some toned arms and legs he had a toned chest too to match. Though rob was their with a towel on embrassed right now as he showed off his slightly toned chest while his arms and legs where toned.
Their was an awkward silence with bonnet grinning like she was pulling a prank as she was with rio blushing at her aunt
"This is what my dad meant by my aunt being a pervert"rio whined as harlow laughed right now sighing leaning back
"Oh darling you haven't met the true bonnet wukong shes a hoot by doing this"harlow said as miles rolled his eyes sighing
"Yeah but she did something bad right now"miles pointed out as bora was blushing mad red sitting next to her girlfriend
"Whats that?"bora asked scared as the man stared at his comrade with zane glaring at the boys dating his daughters
"If you stare at my daughters i'm going to clip your balls off"zane snarled at them scaring vicktor right now as he put his hands up
"I won't sir! I only have eyes for viola i…ah crap"vicktor said making the man snarl more as viola blushed even more but laughter was heard as walking in was declan right now with a familiar face by his side being lazarus who sighed at this
"Dear god not this crap again who did it?"lazarus asked as some pointed at bonnet who waved with declan snickering right now
"Well guess my lessons on becoming a father rubbed off on my daughter husband. You being overprotective boy"declan asked his son in law who stared at him
"Har har dec mr i would have hunted me down for….things"zane said in air quotes right now as yori laughed right now
"Dear don't be rude this isn't the first time its happened"yori said scaring the teens
"This happened before?"selene questioned with a red face right now as may winced right now
"Oh yeah it did because well…mhmmmm blame bonnet for doing something to our husband, whinhchester and well lance dad….oh dear god that was embarrassing"may said with cardin staring at bonnet who grinned at him as he grinned back standing up as he wore swim trunks
"I'm in trunks i aint gonna get tricked again wukong"cardin said disappointed her as jonah smacked his face
"Dad what the hell is wrong with you"jonah muttered right now trying to enjoy a soak as chet kept grinning right now
"Man this is like heaven i mean i get to see angels"Chet said like a pig as cora eyed him before dunking the boy under water as he came back up coughing confused
"What was that for?!"chet shouted as she snarled at him
"Don't be a dam pervert brat or i'll string you up with trifa help"cora threatened but he titled his head confused
