Chapter 9: The Other Teams
It was just two days later after someone huge breakup with their jerk of a boyfriend. Right now they where enjoying a time off for the evening after trying hard to study for their exams right now. As inside the school ream RGIL and some of their friends where hanging out. Those being naga, bella, yuki, eros.
They where busy discussing what to do for school right now as the festival was coming into town for the day. With isa seeming slightly in better spirits but was still upset it seems which they noticed. With yuki sighing
"Man this blows that we gotta study and now i need to pratice for three exams. A dumb written one, fighting and music…ughhh this is so lame"yuki whined
Eros scoffed"of course you'd be worried about your little concert more than school"he spat as he seemd to be cold than usually which bella picked up
"Hey you good eros because you seem more like a prick than usually"bella said making eros scoff as he got up walking away worrying his cousin right now
"Okay what is up with him now?"nyx questioned as the cold girl looked down
"Just…hes pissed his mom isn't here is all auntie busy running the family company grandpa left to her and my mom. Moms trying to figure out a way to make her come here"yuki answered not wanting to hide it
"Thats tough i heard from my moms she always into her work. Though do you all wanna check out the festival ground maybe today i heard their setting it up"rosa asked as they liked the sound of that right now.
"Sure lets go it'll be fun maybe we can run into cousin boyfriend and his team"isa cooed making bella blush right now hearing that from her cousin.
Without arguing they decided to head down to the festival as they walked over. It took some time but it wound't be for another week in vacou as they reached the north end of the city. Where a large banner was already hung across the walls of the city as it opened to a open space for the festival grounds with vendors setting up for the tournament.
"Whoa this is huge i've been to one as a kid but whoa forgot how big it is"lance said admiring the sight
"I know right because this looks amazing"rosa commented as naga eyed guards patrolling the place
"Seems their is alot of extra secret here"naga commented as they did seem to notice that
"Well this is the fifty vytal festival. It's bound to have a big crowd and alot of guards with well…uhhh…ummm…"bella paused looking at nyx who groaned right now as her family got reminded of that at times with some dumb rules being in place because of her dad being forced to attack someone. She knew some of the history from her classes but it still hurt being reminded of it
"I get it my dad made new rules be placed ughhh i hope that if were in the tournament we run into clarice and teach that bitch a lesson"nyx growled as her tail thrashed with naga scoffing at that name
"Her your lucky that you don't go to school with her"naga said making them all disgusted
"Let me guess shes a racist?"isa guessed on her stance for other species as he hissed angrily at that answering her question
"She is and i hope i don't run into anyone that will treat me terrible for who my parents where"naga said but someone laughed close by right now
"Come on naga that won't happen man look at the positives"felix said walking over right now making rosa blush seeing him
"Felix! Hey how you doing man what brings you down here"yuki aksed as he shrugged his shoulders
"Me and nova are hanging with our teammates their actually pretty close"felix replied peeking some interest
"Right your team we've hardly met them only you two mind if we say hello"lance asked as he nodded as felix cupped his hands over his mouth
"Yo nova! I found your girlfriend bring our teammates so they can mess with our leader!"felix shouted right now as someone laughed at that right now
"Oh my god! Your red in the face! Our leader is embarrassed!"a male voice shouted right now
As it belonged to a boy who had some stange attire in a way. As he was seventeen and stood at around 6ft tall with him having slightly tanned skin like he loved the sun. along with having brown spiked up hair with him having light blue eyes
His attire mainly consisted of a long jacket colored olive in color reaching his ankles. While the interior of it was dark brown like oak he wore a tanktop colored jet black inside of it with a palm tree in the center of it. While he had on a pair of ripped blue jeans showing some of his skin along with that having on brown hiking books. While their was tan pouches on his hips and a holster on his leg carrying a strange device that looked like a grappling hook. He also had small dust caritage on his shoulder as he sported a large 50 cal sniper rifle on his back.
The next was another girl who had a strange skin colored as it was pure white making her a grimm hybrid it seems. Though she had a set of golden colored eyes with her having red hair reaching her neck as it was wavy in appearance.
But her attire mainly consisted of a pair of light grey yoga pants that was tight fitting presenting her curves. Along with that she wore a golden bikini top that showed some clevage and bust with her stomach being shown off. But she wore a very loose maroon red jacket that draped a little. But she had on fur boots with her attire along with some pouches being on her hips. While she yanwed revealing a pair of fangs making her a spider it seems as their were six slits in the back of her jacket suggesting something came out of it.
While on her hips where a pair of curved daggers that had serrated blades.
The spider girl yawned again"can you stop with the yelling i;m tired and i want sleep"the girl said
But nova was their blushing right now"come on mazon don't be teasing me like that"she begged as the boy named mazon laughed
"But its so funny you kept talking about this mysterious girl your dating and we found her"mazon said as the spider girl groaned
"I hate this and who extaclty are they?"the girl asked waving her hand as yuki smiled
"I'm yuki hayley"yuki said as they picked up on that name
"Oh your that weapon factory owner grandkid cool hey you think you can let me know when something cool comes out for the weapon magazine"mazon asked as she nerovusly laughed
"Not my field i'm more into music"yuki said to his disappointment as lance sighed
"Lance arc the son of if you guessed it pyrrha nikos and jaune arc"lance said
"Oh cool thats interesting i guess umm i'm umber by the way"umber introduced herself to the others.
"Nice to meet you i'm isa the chiefitess of menagerie eldest"isa said with a calm tone which rosa caught concerning her more about her partner as nyx rubbed her arm groaning
"I'm sure you know naga and bella i'm guessing"she asked as umber nodded
"Met her a few days ago when naga here was getting picked on again"umber said as naga sighed
"It happens at times i'm sorry"naga apologized but felix tapped his shoulder
"Your cool man we got your back"felix said offering a fistbump which the snake returned as rosa paused for a moment as mazon eyed her
"Hey whats with the twerp?"mazon rudely asked making rosa look down as nova smacked him upside the head for that comment
"She aint a twerp dude shes that silver eyed women daughter and uh…"nova paused eyeing felix who shook his head no about that thing.
"Her names rosa shes pretty much the youngest at her school"nova said
"And how old is she exactly?"umber asked
"Fifteen"rosa nerovusly said to their shock as mazon jaw dropped
"Fifteen! Dude i thought you could only join at like seventeen to be in the academy did you bribe your way in?"he questioned as the teen blushed a little with nyx sighing
"No cousin didn't bribe her way in and umm well i'm nyx uhhh your leader girlfriend"nyx said as their was silence for a moment as someone began to laugh close by right now
"Oh my god i can't believe it sis is meeting her girlfriends other teammates"reva said walking over with some familiar face right now in the form of wanda and nubia. Along with three others right now that where by their side.
The first was a girl who seemed to be the leader of the three as she had tanned skin along with having very bright blonde hair like the sun. her eyes were orange like fire along with having a slender and modest bust size to her build.
As her attire mainly consisted of something you'd see from mistral. As she was wearing a pair of sandals colored tan with white socks on. But she also sported a long kimono colored red with the rising sun depicted on the back colored in white and black. While she had a white sash around her waist to hold her outfit together. She was also sporting a long bow on her back at the ready.
The next was someone who was also eighteen with a fair skin complexion as she had light brown hair like coffee. Though she had a pair of yellow eyes for her eyes color along with being at about 5.4ft in height. Along with that a small scar on her cheek like she got cut by something
Though their was also how she was wearing a pair of form fitting pants colored light brown in color. But she was also wearing a bright yellow long sleeve shirt underneath a black vest at that moment. Though their was also how she was sporting a pair of black knee high boots for her attire. With her having some pouches on her hips as she sported a claymore on her back for her signature weapon.
The next one was also a eighteen year old boy who had fair skin himself with black hair styled like a warrior samurai bun. Though he had a toned build to him standing at about 5.8ft in height.
Though his attire mainly consisted of a pair of black dress pants that had a golden dragon like tail circling around it. Though their was also how he had on brown dress shoes with a matching red dress long sleeve showing off his toned chest. But their was how he had silver cufflinks on with him sporting a black dress jakcet on over it. As it had a golden colore dragon on the back of it. With him also having on a golden colored tie. With his weapon strapped to his side being a katana with a white grip and gold lining it.
Their was a brief pause as the boy smiled walking over hugging someone
"Heyya bell"the boy said before kissing her on the head making the bull faunus blush right now as they stared at him with isa giggling
"Awww its cousin boyfriend…kiss…kiss…kiss….fun in the sheets soon"isa cooed making bella growl as she smacked her cousin on the head making her yelp from that
"Shut up isa! All me and ryuu have done is kiss nothing more!"bella shouted embarrassed right now as one of the girl laughed right now
"I forgot how easy she gets embarrassed"the first girl said with the other staring at them for a long moment
"Sooooo who are you guys?"lance asked as ryuu sighed offering a hand shaking his
"Names ryuu i'm apart of team SHMR(Shimmering Blush)"ryuu introduced as the first girl waved
"Names sunny i'm the leader of our little team and this one here"she said wrapping her arm around the second girl
"This is hiroko my partner and the ever silent"sunny said as hiroko gently waved to the group as rosa waved back
"Well isn't this just great we make more friends awesome"yuki said as they stared at her
"Heh heh possible friends but uhh…"umber paused as something was heard
That being a growling noise right now as they slowly followed where the source was coming from. That being nyx who blushed right now as it was her stomach growling
"Sorry just hunger kinda of skipped breakfast this morning. Should we have lunch?"nyx asked as they all agreed
"Hey yeah join us it'll be pretty fun having more people to eat with"isa said to the two groups
"Sure i mean i can catch up with my girl in the mean time then"Ryuu said with an arm wrapped around bella who blushed
Quickly they all walked over to a nearby stall right now sitting down as they did right now someone was their. That being santino who was busy helping his family right now set up their own stall as he looked up
"Can i take your…gah! Please don't hurt me for what that jerk rob did!"satino begged toward the grave siblings who stared at them
"What did you three do now?"felix questioned as reva growled a little right now
"We didn't do shit blame deliah ex boyfriend that prick was trying to take a peep at our moms while they where nude"reva said making them pause as mazon grinned
"They hot?"he asked as nova frowned smacking him in the head making him face plant onto the ground as she growled
"Thats my girlfriend moms besides…ughhh i had to hear the backstory of how they all got involved with her dad. "Nova said as hiroko made a gestured that spelled her confusion
"Oh right uhhhh remember their bella mom family that weird guy she mentioned"ryuu siad making bella embarrassed
"I didn't call him weird…well…uhhh okay some of my adopted family is weird"bella replied with a wince as they sat down with nyx sighing
"We aint gonna hurt you sis explained what happened besides…we already know about your little secret with her"nyx said making the dolphin faunus turn away to get their food with lance staring at her
"Whats the secret?"lance aksed as reva and her shared a look keeping their silence with wanda being kept out of the loop
"Is it a bad secret?"wanda asked innocently
"No but well mhmmm nothing you guys need to worry about. Besides why don't we get to know each other more"Reva suggested as that made some suspicious
"I'm not doing that you all might be trying to get secrets from us before the tournament starts"sunny said with her mute teammate nodding several times at that as isa groaned
"No we won;t…maybe"isa shyly admitted as bella sighed
"They won't do that besides how has mistral been this time of year?"bella aksed ryuu who hummed for a moment
"Better actually the academy been boring with the new headmistress their ughhh i miss the old one. She was nice"ryuu groaned at the new headmistress of the school with rosa giggling
"Oh right i forgot they replaced her after the old one retired how is she?"rosa asked as the student shared looks for a moment
"If you count someone who follows the rules alot then its terrible. I mean that benkai women is brutal"sunny said with a wince as bashira benkai took over the academy after all these years with yuki sighing
"Aunt bash isn't that mean shes paranoid blame her cat teammate. Along with the crap that happened in mistral before with the invasion and fake ID"yuki mentioned as they forgot about that history
"Right that sort of stuff happened lucky for us it will never happen i'm sure of it"isa firmly said not knowing how wrong she is right now with rosa humming
"So are you two from mistral as well?"Rosa asked as the other two as hiroko nodded grabbing a piece of paper drawing on it for a bit before showing them what she wrote
"I'm from the capital and lived their most of my life"hirko notes said
"And i'm from the worst place imaginable to live….kuchinashi the worst place with the most crime"she said like she was proud of it
"And thats good?"umber asked if that was a good thing as she sighed
"Sort of depending on where you live. Ughhh its weird for that big gang in the area their kinda weird with the black tusk making their move. But eh its home"sunny replied as it did seem like home with ryuu sighing
"Mistral myself like i said but…what about you guys?"ryuu asked as umber sighed looking down
"I'm from here but well uh you see i'm a umm…"she paused on her appearance but she didn't need to worry as sunny scoffed
"Were fine with other races seriously we aint racist besides…what hybrid are you?"sunny aksed
As the girl hesitated for a moment she sighed before something moved around under her jacket. Then out came six spider like limps that moved around almost nailing wanda who shivered at the sight of them for a bit.
"Ohhhh a spider hybrid haven't seen one of those yet does that feel weird or something?"isa asked as she retracted them as the girl shivered as they where uncomfortable
"They are but ughhh at least i aint being hit with bricks….sorry i was born like this"umber siad with a hurt look as mazon rubbed her back as she nodded to him thanking him
"I'm from here myself grew up in the deserts till we moved to the capital. Knew these two for a while now"mazon said gesturing to his two teammates as felix sighed
"Grew up here and uhh well parents are um…in the despardos"felix said making them eye him for a bit
"And?"hiroko quickly wrote on a slip of paper as he sighed
"Never mind just that my parents are in the military group we got here"felix replied as nova hummed
"Same here i'm from vacou but my mom runs some clothing business here pretty much. Along with the other being a huntresses"nova explained as they stared at the other for a moment waiting for them as lance rolled his eyes
"Yeah i'm pretty sure if your with reva she told us who we are along with bella"lance replied as they where right
"Bell did tell us about her family friends but uhhhhh okay i remember her mentioning her other family is quite big. Let me guess alot of siblings"ryuu asked as nyx nodded
"Yep that one right their is a new one"nyx said pointing at the shy wanda as mazon laughed a little
"Well isn't she shy hey where are you from?"mazon asked as she stared at him confused
"I…i don't know"wanda said confusing them right now
"What do you mean you don't know?"sunny asked confused as wanda said it again
"I..i don't remember where i'm from…all i know is i woke up in the desert one day"wanda admitted right now to their surprise as reva sighed
"Our new sister here was found walking into the academy sun burnt and exhausted. She has memory loss"reva explained to their surprise
"Oh i'm sorry to hear that any luck finding out who you were?"mazon asked as she thought for a moment shaking her head on that
"I really don't know…all i know is i woke up in the desert and….nothing else"Wanda answered to their surprise with felix eyeing rosa for a bit right now which umber noticed grinning
"Hey isn't rosa that girl you have a crush o–"she was stopped as he covered her mouth running away with her as they didn't catch what she quite said right now
"What did you say?"isa asked as they where already gone with mazon and nova sharing a look right now
"We should get going we gotta study for the exams. Bye nyxy"nova said kissing the wolf on the cheek making her blush at that as her tail began to wag from her kiss. As they walked away ryuu stared at his scroll
"We gotta get going to our teammate is busy getting a check up for their prosthetic and we need to make sure that they are ready for the tournament"ryuu explained
"Oh well i'll see you later okay and uh i'll let my dad know your here"bella said as he smiled waving her goodbye with his two teammates following him as they left they got up paying for their meal as yuki sighed satisfied
"Well they were nice i guess so whats on today agenda now?"yuki asked
"No clue i–"naga was stopped as something hit his head making him wince in pain right now. Following the source it belongs to a glass bottle as a few students from a different school laughed at him
"Hey look its the assassin son eat this snake boy!"one said tossing a brick nailing naga in the head making him look down angering nyx who tail fluffed up as it thrashed. She got in the way glaring at them with hate in her eyes
"Hey! If you wanna pick on someone your gonna deal with us"nyx said as they stepped forward but a student recognized who she is laughing
"Oh shit its that monster daughter watch out she might murder someone like her dad did last time at the festival"the student taunted making nyx look hurt by that as lance growled at them
"Hey! Leave my partner out of your taunting and go away now!"lance demanded but another student tried to throw a brick but someone whistled at them
"You either stop right now or i'm calling the cops"A male voice spoke up as they followed the source right now. As it was a man in his late thirties with him being at around 6ft in height with tanned skin and freckles on his cheek. Though he was wearing a white shirt that was tucked underneath a emerald green flannel shirt along with sporting a pair of black pants with a brown belt with a silver buckle of a gear on it.
Though he stared them down scaring the student as he approached them cracking his knuckles
"Leave now or you deal with me"he warned scaring them as they ran away right now but someone ran over hugging him that being rosa
"Uncle oscar! Your here for the festival!"rosa cheered as this was none other than oscar pine who smiled patting her on the head
"Rosa how have you been i haven't seen you in a long time"oscar asked as she smiled
"I got put on a team with my friends! And i'm a leader like my mom"rosa cheered making oscar laugh as he stared at the others for a bit seeing the similarities in some. But walked over to naga with a worried look
"Everything okay?"oscar asked as naga hissed rubbing his head feeling slight blood their
"I'm fine thank you sir"naga thanked
"No problem besides have you seen your parents i came in town for the festival to say hi to them"oscar asked as lance hummed
"Probably all talking to each other on something random or being paranoid about those weird cultist"lance said making oscar eye them for a moment with worry but someone called out to him
"Father please wait!"a male voice called out to them as running over was someone. That being a boy with medium dark skin tone with messy brown hair and brown eyes seeming to be sixteen. But he was wearing a olive coat with shoulder pads and the belt being dark red like the pads. While underneath he wore a white collared shirt and gloves with a slight open u shape and black x pattern on his wrist. While wearing black pants and maroon boots colored gold on the tips.
Rosa looked confused"father?"rosa asked as oscar chuckled as the boy walked over with a confused look
"Who are they?"he aksed as oscar smiled
"Well their uh friends of mine ozzy"oscar said to the boy named ozzy who stared at them but stared at wanda for a moment before offering a hand
"Oh uh hi i'm ozzy"ozzy said as wanda blushed seeing him for a moment which reva noticed as wanda nervously returned it
"Umm…wanda"wanda nervously replied as their was an awkward silence before oscar watch beeped
"Oh gotta hurry to the hotel room we checked into come on buddy we gotta go. See you kids later"osar said as ozzy followed him with them in silence before wanda felt someone pinch her hips
"Ohhhh someone got a crush. Did you fall for him already is it love at first sight"reva cooed as wanda escaped with a scared look
"n-no..he um…umm…i'm going home"wanda cried embarrassed running away as they laughed right now on the events of today. Though for wanda she found something familiar about that boy right now like she knew him.
It seems that we met some new faces which are mainly my own creations while we saw oscar all grown up with a son named ozzy. Though why does wanda find him so familiar? Till next chapter thanks for reading!
