Chapter 13:Date Night
Hours had soon passed as right now yuki was annoyed looking for her cousin who was the opposite of her. Her being bubbly and warm despite having an ice semblance him all cold and rude with a fire semblance. Opposite of each other as she was groaning loudly.
"Where are you cousin?! Why are you so mean?!"yuki shouted as by her side was aura and thorn along with mulan. Who dragged someone along that being a very red faced salacia who was told what they where planning on doing to her.
"Why did you drag me here to ask him out! I'm going to be teased forever now!"salacia begged as thorn giggled
"Come on you've always had a crush on the guy for years remember"thorn reminded
"Yeah plus he might need to let some steam off if you know what i mean. Just ask mulan parents"aura joked making mulan blush at that
"Stop it you before i use my semblance to pin you to a nearby wall"mulan threatened as aura giggled with yuki sighing
"Look i didn't wanna tell you this at all salacia but…i think my cousin might have a thing for you"yuki said making the girl who had a crush on her cousin pause staring at her for a moment
"Your lying to me right now"salacia said but the frozen rocker crossed her arms under her bust
"No i'm not. Look he never really shows emotions like my mom at times but…hes really sweet. You remember as kids how nice and warm he was everyday. Until he slowly started to become cold toward everyone"yuki asked
This made salacia think for a moment as they have been friends for a long time but she was worried about that. He did did change after his mom started to come to less and less of the time for her family. Then he became so cold toward everyone making her look down
"Your not wrong but…how would me asking him make him feel better?"salacia asked
"Easy he'll become happy hearing some girl he had a crush on fancys him."thorn said simply as they walked around before finding the boy
Who was busy right now sitting on the edge of the roof of the academy. With eros growling and grumbling to himself as he held an arrow in his hands. Slowly salacia got nudged forward by aura and mulan as she swallowed hard on what she was going to do right now tonight.
As she walked over eros was busy throwing stones off the edge right now but cleared her throat
"Hey you okay?"salacia asked making him look at her freezing for a moment as he looked down at the ground
"What do you want? Did my friends send you or my annoyance of a cousin"eros asked as yuki heard that but knew he didn't mean that as salacia took a spot near him with a worried look
"Look just…i know you've been pissed about your mom not being here"salacia said as he scoffed
"How would you feel if your own mother who gave birth to you views work to be more important than her own son. She never even spent time with me when i begged her too…everday too busy for the stupid family company"eros said throwing a rock hard almost hitting someone down below as she stopped him
Pulling him to the side salacia sighed heavily starting at him with a hurt look seeing the pain in his eyes of his own mother ignoring him as she sighed thinking of a way to help
"Well maybe umm…maybe before the festival starts maybe we could uh go out to eat together"Salacia said making him look at her strangely
"As what like a couple?"eros asked coldly making her scared that he might just reject her as she said something else
"No! I mean uh just as friends you know besides…i'm not just gonna ask someone out whos sad right now. It'll be fun maybe we can uh mess with your cousin before she performs. You might wanna do that right?"yuki asked as eros thought for a moment on that before sighing rubbing his face
"It sounds nice….i'll see you then"Eros said walking down the opposite stairs but as he did salacia turned around flinching at the four girls as aura groaned
"You ruined it!"aura shouted shaking her as yuki stopped her as she eyed her cousin as he left as she saw him smile a little on the way down those stairs.
"I think this will do for now come on lets call it a night"yuki said as they did with salacia embarrassed wondering if he does even have feeling for her. But with eros he was walking down the stairs with a slight flush on that face cursing to himself internally on failing to ask that water girl out but their might be a next time.
Elsewhere inside the dorms with bella, thrud and kris right now they where busy being with rosa right now. Who told them what happened early at the house after they all left with them getting their facts straight.
"So wait you asked out felix as in the guy you've had a crush on for ages"thrud asked as rosa gently nodded
"But it only happened after kenji opening his loud mouth saying you liked him"bella added as she nodded again
As kris chuckled"and why exactly am i here right now? I'm not into girls"kris reminded as rosa blushed bright red right now
"You know how to dress nice and i don't"rosa cried in embarrassment as he appreciated that sentiment with bella laughing
"Let me see here we should get you ready for your little event tonight i take it. "She asked but the girl needed more advice
"More like advice because i umm…never really..dated before"Rosa said as they stared at her as they figured out why they where here now also
"Ohhhh since we've had experience dating…and well me helping hook up a few of our friends"thrud mentioned to their surprise
"Who did you hook up?"bella asked as thrud frowned for a moment
"Lance and selene along with viola and vicktor. Now i need to work my magic for my friend here to be fancy for her little date"thrud said making rosa more embarrassed as kris tapped his chin
"Well i won't be much help in the advice department me and naga have only secretly gone on a couple dates. But hmmm i could help you dress up nice"kris siad as bella sighed walking over sitting next to her friend.
"Piece of advice here cousin just be yourself. Get to know each other swap some stories, get to know each other family more"bella said as rosa flinched a little at that
"But both his parents are in the military mines a teacher and the other is a scientist"rosa said but someone laughed right now
"Well i've known their parents for a long time sweetie"ruby said startling them as she stood in the doorway right now
"How long have you been their?!"thrud asked as the silver eyed women smiled walking in sitting down but not before closing the door behind her.
"Look sweetheart i know this is embarrassing for you. But the best thing to do right now is just act like yourself. Don't put on some silly mask to change who you are. If he said yes to your little proposal that means he wants to go with you. Not someone else who you need to pretend to be"ruby said making rosa feel alot less nervous
"Thanks mom…but i might wear my cape"rosa said as her mother winced at that heavily
"Nooooo your not doing that i;m helping you because if you go in a cloak you'll look weird"ruby said making her daughter frown as they headed off for dinner with ruby looking through her daughter clothes to try and help her dress up for tonight.
In the cafeteria right now their was lance, nyx and isa right now along with fay, vicktor, nova, jane and viola. But fay was humming to herself with a happy grin which isa noticed
"Whats up with her? Why is she all giddy?"isa aksed pointing at her friend
"Hmmm i think i know whats wrong with her."nova said before grinning right now
"She asked someone out to a date i heard"nova said making the poor red head go quiet blushing at that as jane grinned
"Oh you mean holmes he mentioned that to me early…your that girl he said he had a hot date with tonight"jane said as the girl blushed wondering if he truly said that but the girl was lying to make it sound more believable.
"Are you lying to me? Because i umm uh…what does he like because i have no clue on where do go for tomorrow"fay asked eagerly right now with vicktor drinking some juice
"Chill out besides weird how were hanging out with this random girl. Whos teammate is possible gonna be your boyfriend"vicktor said making fay go very red in the face hearing that as nyx was laughing at her with viola
"Oh no don't let him become trapped in her clutches or she'll eat him alive"nyx said with viola giggling at that
"Sis don't be weird okay or be well…revealing"viola said making fay huff at that right now
"I am not that revealing"fay said pressing her arms under her bust revealing more clevage as she just walked herself into that one right now
"You just walked yourself into this honk"nova said groping her chest making the girl blush as fay shoved her away with an embarrassed look as jane sighed
"He'll probably handle it though….have you seen our other teammate lately morgan?"jane asked confusing them
"Why what about her?"lance asked as jane tapped her chin before eyeing someone
"Hey senka! Get over here"jane called out to someone
That being a girl who was seventeen standing at about 5.5 with white skin and dark hair as it went down to her lower hips as she had red eyes. Though she had a slender physique as she also had a large bust size. But their was also how she wore a camo crop top underneath a pure black tailcoat jacket as it was left undone to show her chest and midriff off. While their was also how she wore a pair of blue jeans with black knee high boots on. Strapped to her back was caring a submachine gun similiar to a mp5
"Oh uh jane hey whats up?"Senka asked walking over as she tapped her chin
"Has morgan been acting weird lately?"jane asked as senka thought for a moment nodding
"She has been i mean shes been skipping our team training even. Along with umm…hmmm.."senka paused as walking over was the others
"Hey whats going on here?"kris asked
"Talking about their teammate acting weird like real weird"nova admitted as senka snapped her fingers
"Hey she has been acting weird she even left the dance early for some reason saying she had an emergency"senka replied as nyx raised her eye on that thinking about it
"Wait a minute…that girl from the dance could it be here?"she thought
"Oh well lets not worry about that help us tease rosa who dating her partner"bella said pointing at nova as rosa whined with them laughing at that right now for the evening. With jane smiling to herself sowing doubt within their minds.
The next morning soon came to everyone as in the room rosa was blushing bright red in her bed not wanting to come out
"Come on partner get out of bed we know you have plans for tonight"isa said as rosa refused
"No your gonna tease me"rosa replied
"No we won't…grab her"nyx said as her and isa dragged the silver eyed girl out of bed who tried to hold onto her bed. But drei was their staring at his owner who looked at him with puppy eyes
"Please no"Rosa begged but the dog opened his mouth nibbling on her wrist. This made her let go as the two of them dragged her away to go and get fancy for her date with viola watching this as she stared at her scroll before going off to do her own thing
Later on about three hours later right now it was closer to noon with thrud, bella and ruby helping out the poor teen get ready for her date. But ruby was being a dotting mother right now going through all her clothes
"Nope..nope…not this..nuh uh….ughhh i bought you too many boyish clothes and blouses"ruby said
As rosa was forced into the shower early with nothing but a long towel on covering her body as her regular clothes where being dried at this moment. With her blushing mad red
"Can we hurry up i feel naked and its cold….can i please just wear my cloak"Rosa begged as stepping out was neo humming who shook her head
"No because your not being like summer. I mean seriously i heard from raven and my aunt that she wore a cloak on her first date."neo stated as they paused with thrud giggled at that right now
"Really? No way someone would do that on a date"thrud said as neo eyed ruby who stared daggers at her as the so called mute spared her for now.
"Well i mean rosa is more filled in certain areas"bella motioned to how rosa was more toned in the legs and arms. Along with being more filled in the chest compared to her mother here
"Come on can we hurry up please i'm freezing"rosa whined as neo found something perfect
"Here we go some proper clothes for tonight"neo said gesturing to the outfit she found her
That being a red turtleneck sweater with a black skirt alongside some black tights on with some red character shoes.
"Ummm are you sure about this?"rosa asked
"Yes now get ready sweetie or your going to be very late to your date"ruby said excited right now as rosa picked up the clothes sighing.
After some time soon enough rosa came out fully dressed out in the outfit. But ruby tried to take pictures of it to her embarrassment
"Mom don't please"Rosa begged but ruby snapped a few
"Buts its so cute my little girl first date. "Ruby cooed as she was a overbearing mother at her age as rosa quickly ran to the door to leave
"I'm leaving bye"rosa said leaving for her date as they stayed silent with neo staring at ruby who looked at the window close by
"Your not spying on her rose"neo warned
"Oh you spied on me when i had a date with my wife for the first time"ruby said
"Thats because you where a nervous wreck asking my cousin out"neo spat back as the two women stared each other down as thrud ruined it
"Kiss kiss kiss"thrud said making the two eye her for that as they found her strange just like her mother nora.
After making her way into vacou rosa was nervous as vacou was a place full of criminals and bandits. But as she walked through the streets right now someone was waiting for her close outside of the school
"Hey rosa their you are"felix called out as she looked over before blushing right now
As he was wearing a pair of form fitting brown dress pants with a hole in the back for his tail. While he wore a light grey dress shirt alongside a black tie to match with his attire
Felix eyed her down"you look really good"he said with a slight hum making her blush as she brushed her hair to the side
"Thanks uh you look um nice too"rosa said as he offered her an arm that she took
As the two of them walked through the night they soon made it to their destination. That being a simple building that was a stall with their being a large sign that made it seem like a fast food joint
As they walked over he whistles"hey you got that stall for me man"he called out to a worker who laughed
"We do man. Lucky for you that your mom is friends with the owner here we got a booth over here"they said leading the two to a simple little booth. With rosa taking a look around seeing some old pictures on the wall right now.
"This place is nice…what does it serve?"rosa asked
"Oh just some fast food stuff i think you should try the chicken breast here their pretty good. The seasoning for it is a secret recipe. "Feix suggested as rosa was about to get it but decided to some rice porridge instead. With him ordering a cheeseburger.
After sometime they soon came back with their meal for the evening right now as they began to talk right now
"So how is everything going for you? Your team praticing hard"felix asked
"We are just nervous is all…tough but i think we can do it"rosa replied
"Though i'm nervous since well…ummm…our entire team is consisted of children who are related to leader. Leader who helped stop the um shadow war"rosa said with a worried look which he picked up on.
"Come on i'm sure you'll do great"felix reassured as rosa sighed heavily
"I don't know just…their so much pressure on our team on me. I…my mom was the youngest person to join beacon i am too. But her…she…she managed to help save the whole world and me…all i can do is maybe save a small village if i become a huntress"rosa paused before messing with her skirt as she looked down avoiding his gaze
"And…and…umm…my eyes make me scared"she said suddenly concerning him as he knew about them
"What about them? Their grimm killer why would you be scared of them"felix asked as rosa flinched recalling what happened that night when flora kidnapped her and kenji recalling what she planned to do to her.
"I…i…those cultist…they…they wanna take my eyes…they want to rip them out"rosa said with a quivered breath making him worried
Slowly he switched side before gently wrapping an arm around her to comfort her for the time being. As he did she leaned into it shaking for a moment as she slowly took some breaths to control her emotions as she got a hold of them just in time
"You okay?"felix asked making her blush for a moment
"I'm fine sorry"She apolgoized
"Hey i get it your scared reminds me of my mom when she gets panic attacks at times"felix said making rosa surprised
"Panic attacks?"She asked as he looked down for a moment
"My mom used to be in the old SDC mines. She escaped at one point but she used to be in the atlas military. A combat medic but her CO had alot of friends in high places. She got put in those mines for a good year and well uncle brann helped her escape. But that when he got caught she met him up here and well they both joined the despardos. After some time her and dad got together and well..you know…had me"felix said
This stunned her for a bit hearing his own mother was a slave as rosa hugged him back which he appreciated greatly right now.
"Hey lets call it a night i'll walk you back to the dorms"felix said making her smile at that
"I'd like that alot"rosa said as they paid for the bill leaving the place heading over to the dorms with rosa leaning against him smiling happy. As watching sneakily from a distance was neo, ruby, thrud and bella. Bella and thrud high fived with ruby becoming giddy and happy for her daughter.
Meanwhile with fay she was nervously walking around on edge waiting for holmes right now. As she changed her attire for the evening as she wore a sleeveless maroon red sweater with a chest window to show some clevage. While she wore flared black pants with black high heels as she groaned
"Come on where are you….don't tell me he ditched me for being weird"fay said eyeing her scroll seeing a message she sent early saying she was here but he hasn't responded
But soon enough someone placed their hands over her faces making her scream
"Ahhhhh! Don't touch me pervert! I can only do that!"fay screched but laughter was heard as they let her go
"Sorry i saw you over here and thought i'd surprise you"holme said as fay turned around blushing as he wore his usually attire but he admired her it seems
"You uh look nice"holme said making her blush right now
"Thanks uh you too so uh were are we off too"fay asked as he paused for a moment
"How about some ice cream right now i heard their this wonderful place close by"holmes said offering her an arm making her heisated but she took it.
As the two of them walked around the place for a bit soon enough they arrived at their desiantion. That being a stall that was open late at night with a faunus running it as they looked up smiling at the two
"Well lookie here a little date. What can i do for you two tonight?"the owner asked as they sat down with fay eyeing the flavors for a bit finding one
"Ummm carmel fudge please"fay kindly asked as holmes tapped his chin
"Chocolate and vanilla twist please"holmes asked
Soon enough the man made their bowls handing them it as fay happily took a bite of her humming in delight. As holmes slowly ate his as he eyed her
"So tell me uhh a little about your family because i did a little research into you"holme said making fay eye him weirdly
"Are you stalking me now or something"Fay asked but he cleared that up instantly
"No! I just well i heard of your last name. Your a gravekeeper technically right?"holme asked as fay sighed at that
"Yeah technically. But well ughhh i don't like being reminded of my family being oh this big grand group of warriors destined to fight grimm. I feel like i'm in a cult sometimes"fay said as holmes found that funny as he himself was linked to one
"Really? Well my mother works in the music business its always getting a cult following for something"holme said making her laugh
"Was that a pun? I mean i hear one everyday at my house but….hey sorry to ask what about your parents? Your umm real ones"fay asked
This stunned holmes for a moment who put up an act sighing right now with an upset look as he moved his spoon around
"Believe it or not i never met them. All i know is i was left on the doorsteps of that orphanage you see about maybe eight years later i was soon adopted by that calliope women. She took me in with another man was my apparent father but he was well…controlling if you will"holmes said closing his eyes with a heavy sigh as he opened them
"He would try to tell me how to live. Who to be with or even talk to mother divorced him but he still gets visitation right at times."holme said as fay looked down
"I'm sorry to hear that. Look if it means anything i think its nice you got away from him maybe you become your own person. Maybe some day find your real parents"Fay said making him smile
"Maybe but i–"he was stopped as someone threw something at them that being a glass bottle that sent glass flying everywhere. Looking at the source it belonged to nick who grinn at them tossing the bottle in the air with a few of his cronies
"Well well lookie here its the slut of the whores. How yah been bitch"nick asked making fay glare at him but holmes stepped up dusting the glass off his shoulder
"Mind repeating that again?"holmes asked as one of the cronies laughed
"He said that shes a slut–"he was stopped as in a swift motion holmes leaped forward grabbing the boy arm. Before twisting hard snapping his wrist as he cried in pain with another trying to hit him. Though holmes lifted his leg up kicking them across the jaw sending them back as he stared nick and the other one down as he glared at them
"Apologize or i break your dam breaks"holmes said but nick backed up shoving him back running away with his friend. As holmes scoffed walking back over taking fay hand as he payed for their treat
"Lets head back"holmes said as fay blushed right now from that gesture
Once they got back to the dorms right now holmes let her arm go as fay stared at him
"Are you not coming inside to see your team?"fay asked as he sighed
"Mother wants me to talk to her about my date tonight….but i enjoyed tonight if you ever wanna go again let me know"holme said walking away but fay had instincts take over. She walked over pulling him down kissing him on the lips to his surprise as she let him go smiling
"Maybe but keep that in mind for next time"fay said skipping her way in as holmes walked away.
As he did he whipped his mouth off before turning down an alleway to find nick and his cronie waiting for them as nick was anger for what he did
"Hey! You said we just had to make a show not break my buddies arm"nick growled as holmes scoffed before reaching into his coat. Then he tossed down a few stacks of lien cards as nick eyed them
"Double the payment for a good show. Thank you for your services"holmes said as nick hesitantly took it in hand
"Okay but my buddy had to go to the hospital. But good luck with that weirdo dude don't know what you see in her"nick said walking away with his lackey as holmes smiled with everything going according to his plan.
It seems that holmes bought out nick and his friends to ensure he snags fay heart even more. Though what will happen when the day of the vytal festival comes? will he simply just stab her in the back or worse. Thanks for reading!
