Chapter 15: Investigation
The weekend had came to an end with the teens in shock still after last night events. With them all trying to get answer this morning but got none from the adults. With the other students being warned about intruders last night in the school as no one was permitted to leave without any permission. As their was an increase in security around the school.
As right now inside the man office of the academy was glynda and sun talking with marrow and the others about last night events
"So wait…you thought about going after some dumb lead and…found that little punk with four others talking about attacking the festival?"sun asked with vance having his shoulder bandaged up as he growled
"We did and we killed one of them after they shot at us. But…what about our little hybrid friend?"vance asked as blake sighed
"On our way to the jail he bite into a sucide capsula killing himself. But that morgan girl and the assassin are still alive. I don't like it"blake said as they knew why
"Because they kill themsleves quickly before anyone can question them. Maybe these two don't have the sucide trick"miles said but marrow wasn't buying it
"No way. I'm guessing those two have something else up their sleeve we already cleared them of their weapons. But….that assassin had built in blades and guns into his forearms. Struggled to remove them so we settled for an emp jammer on him"marrow said worrying them
"And the cell are electronic"xiu reminded but he had a solution
"Oh don't worry we put him in a cell that requires a good old fashion key. We still have those"marrow said relieving them slightly as glynda sighed rubbing her face
"And you believe this girl is the daughter of rosemary?"glynda asked as they stared at her
"Hey our hunch was right i mean we found her conspiring with those four."zane argued as she groaned as last night events was terrible for the academy
"But a student got shot last night their in medical from last night events. Now i need to talk to his parents."glynda said but bonnet thought about the events of the fall before
"Well you need to do ID checks on all of your students because one of them got into the academy again. That means…"She paused eyeing the rest as they noticed her pause
"Auntie you hiding something?"sun aksed as she paused sighing right now

"That…that psycho has a son!"he shouted in rage as glynda eyed them down for a bit
"How long have you known about this?"glynda aksed as they hesitated at first before relenting
"We;ve known since the lab raid we kept it hidden to avoid causing more panic. But….my guess is hes in this school. Though they might not be doing what they did back then"blake replied making them puzzled
"What do you mean by that?"sun asked with lazuli rubbing her knuckles sighing
"Well if they put them all on a team again they would be found out immediately. I mean they gotta be smart this time and split them up so my guess is where probably dealing with another spy"lazuli theorized to them as glynda sighed heavily on this problem right now
"Were going through all the student records right now. I want a list of possible spies in each of the academys. Send word to benkai for a request for her list of students, can you check for fake details on their transcripts?"glynda asked lazuli who nodded
"I can i'll send them to the fox twins but…can someone check on my kid i think i scared her"lazuli said as they eyed her
"You were punching them till they bleed sis. But go check on her…i can handle this got it"vance said his sister eyed him as he smiled reassuring her as they left to go check on the teens with glynda holding her head in worry that its happening again.
With the others right now they where in the dorms right now after the night they had. Though fay was in tears almost hugging holmes who had his side bandaged showing of his toned bodie as viola sighed
"Sis the nurse and doctors said he'll be fine"viola said as fay refused to move right now
"No. he got hurt because of me….i'm so sorry"Fay cried as holmes sighed rubbing her head
"Its okay besides…who would have thought our teammate was…one of those cultist"holmes said as senka flinched
"She was my partner holmes that worse! I had to share a bed with that psycho on a school trip to the tundra! I had a serial killer daughter near my body"senka said as yuki shivered being told what happened

"Fine but…but….she…she wanted to kill me..i…i…"his voice hitched in fear as kenji was rubbing his neck for a moment as isa was balled up for a bit looking down

"You don't know the story about team BRAS do you?"jane asked as they paused for a moment
"A little but…well their a team that served the witch queen known as salem"rosa answered as holmes looked surprised
"You do know that they snuck their way into the academy. Along with that planting themselves as spies with fake transcripts. Also they played well some of your familys including my uh girlfriend father"holme said making fay blush but hearing that right now someone growled hearing that word
Looking over they flinched to see zane standing their as he glared at the boy as he stepped inside standing over them
"Your what to my daughter?"he asked scaring him as fay shield her boyfriend
"Dad please stop! He was the nice guy that danced with me after donny dumped me for clarice! Please don't hurt him he took a bullet for me!"Fay shouted making her father surprised as with him where the others along with may who laughed
"Well great someone gonna be a protective dad for the rest of the festival"may joked as xiu hummed
"How are all of you doing after last night?"xiu asked as they paused with isa looking down
"My back kinda hurts from being thrown into a wall yesterday"isa admitted as lazuli sighed walking in eyeing her daughter who flinched slightly staring at her as she looked down.
"Hey uh sweetie about last night"lazuli said as bella looked down for a moment
"Its um okay mom i uhh….you were mad that person attacked cousin is all"bella said making lazuli hurt wondering if she soiled her relationship with her daughter right now as blake sighed rubbing her face walking over checking over holmes as she pressed a hand on his wound making him hiss in pain
"Fair warning please next time that hurts"holmes admitted
"Well just have lance heal it hes got a aura semblance like his dad"nyx reminded as lance walked over pressing his hand against the boy. Before holmes felt relief on his wound rubbing it as it didn't hurt anymore

"No problem"lance replied as they got in an awkward silence as zane sighed
"So uhhh…well this is awkward but don't worry about those crooks we locked them up somewhere nice and dark while we question them. You kids should enjoy a nice day off"zane said as they eyed them
"Are you sure? Because well you said not to ask questions but uhh…."yuki paused before someone foot steps was heard as they ran into the room as holmes face was shoved in their bust
"Ohhhh my little boy your okay."calliope cried making him embarrassed making them awkward that this was happening as simone winced
"This is so awkward"simone said as blake cleared her throat as calliope looked up
"Ma'am are you his mother?"she asked as she nodded
"I am i got word that he was shot this morning is everything alright?"calliope asked like a dotting mother
"He'll be fine miss but uh hey kids leave us alone we gotta talk to her and her kids team"vance said as they did as followed leaving them making jane on edge as she leaned against the wall just incase they figure them out. As calliope kept her facade but eyed them down
"Is my son in trouble?"Calliope rudley asked but that was cleared up
"No hes not in any sort of trouble but we have some questions. From what we pulled from that girls record she was at an orphanage. And well my daughter mentions this after her date last night with your son"xiu said making zane growl a little as may pinched him on the nose

"Sorry recalling how she messed with some dead deer on a trip one time. But uhh…well uhh this morning we did some digging in her room and found this"jane said pulling out something from her back that being a small journal. Taking it they opened it to find several scribbling on it but it was directed toward one family the hayley. With a few pictures of dead bodies with sharp objects in them alongside that a picture of someone. That being a man in unseen eye attire with his face covered as someone was by his side. That being rosemary who looked to be six month pregnant as lazuli gagged
"Ahhhh she was pregat…brb gonna hurl"lazuli said zipping to a trash can puking right now as may shivered
"Okay thats not weird but uhh thanks for this"may said pocketing the journal as calliope hummed staring at them

Meanwhile in vacou right now some of the teens got air mainly being laffa and yuki alongside someone else. That being hex who brought along harmina, aspen and pochikaka. As their was also taokaka humming right now as her tail swayed all over the place. With wanda, bria, opal and lastly thadeus who was busy tinkering with his scroll
"Ughhh that happened last night that sounds terrible"bria said
"You kidding me a psycho tried to kill our friends and family sis"opal replied with hex shushing them right now
"Quiet you two your siblings don't need to hear about that"hex warned as pochikaka was eating a piece of candy she got from her mother as taokaka was a dotting mother to her children

"Yeah but uhh that chick was creepy i mean she..she tried to go for eros i heard. I hope hes okay"yuki said with worrie as they were rounding a corner as taokaka skipped ahead before turning it but she yelped falling onto her back groaning right now
As opal groaned"mom we told you to not run around corners you probably hit someone"She said as someone groaned on the other head growling right now
"Who just hit me i landed on my nice pair of dress pants!"A familiar voice called out making calida eyes light up as she turned a corner going into a large smile. As on the ground was rogue right now rubbing her head as the women squealed hugging her other daughter in joy
"My little girl!"calida cheered as rogue saw her mother softly smiling hugging her back as she gently let her go. But nemo was on her lap staring at her with big eyes as she sighed rubbing his little head right now
"Oh its nemo hi buddy i–"she was stopped as someone ran around to hug her right now that being her daughter as harmina hugged her mother in tears

"I..i've heard whats been going on with my son…i came to watch him during the festival but don't tell him keep it a surprise okay"rogue said as they thought about it with hex smiling
"Sure but we need to go have you meet your sister shes back at the compound with the others come on we can go now"hex said as they did quickly finding a shuttle to take them back to compound
Once they arrived their some of the acolytes saw them bowing to them with someone outside wandering the place. That being persia who was holding a little girl who was a mouse faunus with a pair of big droopy mouse ears on her head. Along with wearing a greyish blue dress blouse with a matching dark blue skirt
But persia eyed her squealing right now as her tail swayed"oh my god rogue! Your here ohhh its so nice to see you"she said about to hug her but realized the child in her arms
"Oops sorry holding little remy here"persia said gesutring to the little mouse faunus who gently waved to her
"Hwello"remy cutely said making rogue chuckle as she sighed right now setting her daughter down for a moment before hugging her friend who returned it

But inside right now in the living room was eria who was pacing back and forth as she was informed about last nights events. Along with her was a familiar face being osar and ruby with pyrrha their to try and quell her sister figures worries. But tanner sat their sighing as he was grumbling in anger right now. With roz, naca and alessia their as well.
"Calm down eria it'll all be fine right now"Roz reassured but she glared at her
"Fine!? That psycho daughter of that serial killer tried to kill my nephew last night! Right now i am stressed out because…they might have caught her but she might be planning something for our friends and our kids"eria said in complete worry with naca sighing as she cracked her knuckles
"Hey i'm worried about this too but i aint freaking out. See i'm perfectly fine"naca said with a straight face as walking in with a tray of food for them and drinks was bombay alongside oxnyia as the cat faunus eyed her
"No your not your freaking out right now vincent"bombay said making naca glare at her for that as she was scared right now. But onxyia took charge guiding her partner to sit down as she placed a hand on her back
"It'll be fine eria where doing an investigation i'm sure besides i'm certain that the others will get answers out of her and that assassin. "Onxyia reassured with the women sighing with a worried look

You better be here to cause some chaos with me for old times sake"tanner said as the women sighed setting her daughter down as naca decided to take them out as she split into her three clones. With the nervous clone taking nemo walking away
"I hope i don't drop him"the blue clone said as the white clone sighed
"Quit freaking out come along you four"the white clone said to the four tots as they followed with pochikaka nibbling her tail as he black colored clone picked her up
"Stop nibbling your tail"she scolded as pochikaka giggled continuing to do it as she groaned with opal and bria snickering right now
"This is comedy"bria stated as rogue cleared her throat
"I aint here to cause chaos gotta uphold the family company status beside uh is eros here?"rogue asked as they thought about
"Nooo but we can go make sure come on yuki"laffa said as they left them as bria wandered off as opal stayed. As wanda sat down with oscar eyeing her for a moment

"Not too long ago but well hes adopted you see. Me and my wife found him in the woods a about a year ago. Kid was lost and confused couldn't even recall who he was. Took him in and hes become apart of my family. Surprised you didn't know since we moved to the patch"oscar said as he moved to vale to live here as ruby nervously laughed
"I'm not great with the news on the patch"ruby replied as wanda nerovusly tapped her fingers together
"Is he here?"wanda asked as they eyed her with opal grinning
"Do you have a crush on him"opal asked as the girl stared at her adopted sibling before bolting as opal laughed chasing after her to mess with her as tanner laughed at that as they decided to have a nice chat with each other for the evening to catch up with each other.
Meanwhile right now team VOLK where just getting some training finished for the evening. As lynn snapped his fingers pinning down a training dummy as vicktor switched to his rifle aiming down firing at the dummy for a bit. With viola carrying kenji in the air going high into before tossing him up as he spread his claws at the ready. Then she digitized a hammer before slamming it down onto the cat faunus
This sent him flying down into the training dummy as he slammed right into it. As a large dust cloud was kicked up from that as the three waited for him to emerge as he did with whiskers and fur on his face with vicktor laughing as he leaned against his katana
"Nice look your kinda fuzzy now ken"vicktor said as kenji shook his head getting rid of the extra peach fuzz
"Come on its apart of my semblance but i think were ready for the tournament."kenji said gesturing to the smashed up training dummy as viola sighed
"Well i'm more worried about who we'll be facing. I mean their a huge possibilite where going to face some of my siblings. They know how to get under my skin"viola whined but lynn sighed as he placed his hands behind his back.
"Everything will be fine partner. Besides you know their weakness i take it"he asked as she thought about it as she molted her armor off
"I do know most of their forms. Trey has the defender form, reva has the warrior form, fay has her aerial. Nubia has the animal form….cleo has her animal form….deliah has her defender form….nyx has two which is her warrior and defender. "Viola explained with a few others as the three shared looks
"I think we gotta watch out for schnee if we face him. You know how to beat him right?"vicktor asked lynn who hummed nodding
"I do just overwhelm him and that thrud girl is easy just simply have her and kenji brawl if we face them"lynn said as kenji shook his head

But with some others mainly nubia, bora, chet, bella and jane right now they where busy talking with each other about last night events. Along with consoling jane who was apparently freaked out about her teammates being a psycho

"I am troubled but…i never really liked her. She and holmes are annoying i only like senka"jane said confusing them on why she doens't like her leader and partner

"No our parents have been hiding stuff from us about this cult and whats happening. Everysince uncle colt died things have been weird. We need to see if they know anything or just see what their doing. "Nubia said as they thought about it with bella narrowing her gaze gesturing for them to follow her.
As they began to tail the two their was nothing really happening as they where just walking through the streets of vacou nothing more. But they were suspicious after everything that happened lately. Along with that they needed answers as they secretly followed them as they made sure no one was following them
With nubia making sure the acolytes weren't following them as she knew what they looked like. But as they followed the two they saw them duck into a nearby boxing gym right now that had a closed sign on it which chet noticed
"Huh this place is closed why would they be here?"chet asked
"This is my aunts place my mom said she had a few places around remnant. You think their meeting someone here?"bella asked as jane eyed the place looking around grinning
"Follow me i got an idea"jane said as they did slowly walking around to the back right now as they where confused seeing nothing except the dead end of an alley right now as bora frowned
"This is a dead end of an alleway why are we here?"bora asked as jane walked over leaning against a wall. Before snapping her fingers right now as suddenly a hazy object appeared in the shape of an elevator to their surprise as she gesuted to it
"Wanna take a ride up?"jane asked before stepping in as it sent here to the top of the building. The other heisantly stared at the edge as she popped her head up gesturing for them to come up. The teens shared looks carefully taking it as nubia took it up screaming a little with bella following suit. Then bora as chet came up he screamed a little landing on the roof groaning
"Ow that hurt alot"chet said as the teens got on the roof
"Useful semblance what now?"bella asked as jane shushed them couch walking to the nearby skylight. The other did peering inside to see something as in the center of the gym in the ring was someone. That being the assassin from last night along with morgan bounded and gagged to a chair growling at them
Though in the room with them was mercury, adder, cait, tex, ciel along with omar and lastly zane. With them eyeing the two as omar laughed
"Hey look its the commanders daughter heyya cho how yah been"omar said fist bumping her as she smiled
"Better weird seeing my old academy buddie here"june said
"Enough of the banter we got a job to do right now. Because i think we deserve some info from these two"adam said as ciel walked over toward x-58 grabbing him by his neck making her face him as he still wore his helmet
"Who the hell are you psycho?"Ciel asked as the assassin stared at her
"Desinagation x-58. Assassin and bodyguard for mrs. kuchisake daughter and husband. No further intel allowed"x-58 said as tex spat to the side rubbing her hands for a moment
"Really? Come on bot just spill your guts or we can hack into your head for your little intel on your masters"tex asked with a smile as the assassin stared at her before trying to headbut her. Though she dodged it as cait punched them in the back of the skull knocking their helmet off
As it rolled off it revealed his face that being a man who had fair skin along with having a shaven head. Though their was one other thing the dozen of surgical scars on his face as chet eyed it gagging a little
"What the hell man…his face is messed up"chet whispered as bora shushed him
With the assassin looking at them with ciel wincing at his scars"lookie here you got some surgery scars….mind talking to us or we can move onto your friend here"she said gesutirng to morgan who growled as the assassin eyed them down titling his head for a moment
"Desingation x-58. Main target by orders of master watts, you are to be eliminated or brought before him to undergo torture"x-58 said as the women frowned with mercury rubbing his knuckles cracking them right now before cocking his fist back
Then he punched the assassin in the gut knocking him to the ground as he didnt respond to pain. With him eyeing morgan as he walked over tearing her gag off as she smiled at him right now with a grin.
"If it isn't that hayley whores husband and the traditor to our queen. Along with adder tannin the other traditor to our goddess"morgan said as the teen shared looks above hearing that as they recalled in history hearing about this
"Traditors..wait is she talking about how he used to serve salem?"bella asked
"Guess so but why are they all here? Didn't they say they put them in a cell today"bora replied as they watched with adder hissing for a moment staring the girl down with a narrowed gaze
"I left that psycho women since i was held against my will that applies toward black here. But you…to believe that women had a child…that women is a nutcase and i assume you are too"adder said making morgan growl as she tried to bite him but he dodged it glaring and growling at them
"I will never tell you anything and good luck peering into my mind i have so many mental blocks it'll take you years to get rid of them. My mother flock has prepared me to fight against you if i'm ever captured"morgan said with a smile
But in an eerie silence ciel whistles as zane walked forward as he did something. Suddenly he grabbed a nearby rope before wrapping it around morgan neck. Then he began to straggle the girl from behind startling them. With chet eyes widening in shock as bora covered her mouth. With nubia flinching in fear seeing her own father do that right now
Morgan kicked and gasped for air as he kept squeezing on her neck right now. Though as he did cait motioned for him to let her go as he did. Morgan gasped and coughed for air hacking before getting air back in her lungs as mercury grabbed her chin to make her face him
"Now the thought of beating a kid senseless to get our information sounds terrible to me. But…you either start talking or we can get the grunts here to make you talk"mercury said as she eyed him before spitting in his face giggling right now
"Go ahead….watts will enjoy seeing you all pined to wall for doing this and so will mother"morgan said as ciel scoffed before wrapping her arms around her neck. Then slowly she began to choke her out as morgan gasped before becoming unconscious
"Great shes a psycho like her mom"june said but adam eyed the ring before seeing a small shadow. Then he looked up expecting something but saw nothing as he shook his head
"Must be seeing things"Adam thought as back on the roof the teens weren't their being slowly reappearing right now as chet breathed a sigh of relief
"That was messed up i mean i…whats with them discussing torture"Chet asked scared
"No clue but lets not even tell the others about this i mean…..i..i think we shouldn't investigate this further"bora said as nubia shivered for a moment nodding
"Yeah i mean…my…siblings would flip"nubia said as jane eyed them for a bit nodding
"Lets keep this on the downlow okay"jane said as they agreed getting off the roof as they did bella eyed her
