Remember when Naruto, twice, called Chakra Catra? Being that dumb is an artform really...
I wanted to address that, it was that dumb it actually inspired me.
Naruto was never sabotaged, there is less than no proof of that.
This is the last part of the Prologue
Prologue End-
Shin wanted to puke when he compared the access of knowledge he had with the Monks to his own well that Naruto gave him. Naruto didn't even know what Chakra was, calling it Catra! The urge to stab Naruto was vast, the boy was a moron. He had never made an effort to learn and better himself, sticking to only pranking, eating Ramen and drooling over Sakura... who to be frank, was a creep, just like Naruto was toward her.
Actually, to be honest, the more that Shin thought about his past life as Naruto the more he hated the guy. He felt an unending urge to get away from the past identity, and so he dived into his studies with the monks. Of his three clones, two spent their time reading. One random things, one sealing. The other spent time learning taijutsu with the real Shin.
In a month of constant, isolated training that included meditation and chakra control exercises, Shin was a new person. His body was stronger, his mind more potent, his patience greater. His chakra, already great according to Chiriku, growed considerably allowing him to make two more clones. One he sent to the library to study finance or math, the other he sent to taijutsu. With the addition of more knowledge, his spiritual chakra massively grew allowing for his clones to live longer and understand more of what they learned. At the end of the month he also started to wear weights, inspired by Rock Lee, which combined with his healing allowed for him to develop fast and vast speed and strength.
In three months, he was up to ten clones. Half studying sealing or random things, two learning taijutsu, two learning chakra control exerises ( He remembered how much Naruto struggled) and the last working on his throwing skills just to be safe. He got good, really good. Going from what Chiriku claimed to be genin level taijutsu to around Upper Chunin level. His chakra control got to the point that when he first tried the Rasengan, he only needed two hands and no clones. He was easily able to remaster the transformation, the replacement and even the clone jutsu.
He also learned to hunt and more. OH and his favorite part was seals. He was able to cast explosive tags, strengthening seals, sealing scrolls and a few others. He could also break the beginnings genjutsu since Chiriku felt it unfair that he would be vunerable to them.
Overall, he was considered to be a Chunin level threat in just three months and that felt great.
And so, without goodbye, Shin left, deciding to return to the Leaf. The only place he would ever be safe, should he too be a target of the Akatsuki or worse... Orochimaru. If he was as bad as Chiriku's bingo book said...
Then Shin really, really needed to be kept safe.
