In other news, in this chapter we will have Pokedex entries, and I decided to do something special for it. You see what I mean later in the chapter.
Also since this takes place in the Hisui Region time. I'm going to asume, some Alola and Galar Forms don't exist yet, so none of them will be in the story. And Pokemon that have modern stuff, like Cinkeldurr's concrete pillars won't exist, and be replaced with large stones. I base this off my idea, that a Kleavor is basically an unrefined Scizor. Now for chapter 2.
Chapter 2
Daemon Riot
It had been three years since Giratina took in Zane, training him for his mission. During those three years he had mastered his weapons, transforming from his Giratina form to Human form, control over his own gravity, and can teleport short distances. And while Giratina would like to keep training him. Time has run out. The Pokemon Arceus was training and modifying the Pokemon he was going to send, so it was time for Zane to leave.
"It's time Zane." Giratina said to Zane. "Understood." Zane said to Giratina. "Now remember your arrows are able to channel your antimatter. The longer you charge your arrows the more pudney the antimatter in the arrows will be. But hold back for too long, and the arrow will destroy itself." Giratina said to Zane. "Of course." Zane said to Giratina. "And It will take time for your quiver to restore the arrows you use so use your arrows wisely." Giratina said to Zane. "Yes sir." Zane said to Giratina.
"And remember once you enter that world, you'll be on your own." Giratina said to Zane. "Yes sir." Zane said to Giratina. "Now let's go. Arceus will be sending the Pokemon soon." Giratina said to Zane, before they teleported away.
Soon they were with the other Legendary Pokemon, but Zane hid behind Giratina, who was in the back of the group. "Well look who's decided to show his face. It's been three years, Giratina." Dialga said Giratina, as he moved to Giratina. "Well it's not like I care about you all that much." Giratina said to Dialga. "No, but you can explain something to us." Palkia said to Giratina, as he moved to Giratina.
"And that is?" Giratina asked Palkia. "Something weird has been going on in your realm. Your antimatter has been acting up, almost like it's alive." Palkia said to Giratina. "Hey don't blame me when you two have a hard time controlling your powers. Remember my realm is just a filter for yours. If the antimatter is weird then it's your fault not mine." Giratina said to Palkia and Dialga, making them mad.
"Enough you three, It's almost time to send the Pokemon to the new world. I must give them a speech first. And I want you all to act like actual Legends and not children." Arceus said to Giratina, Palkia and Dialga. "Yes Arceus." The three of them said to Arceus, as they got ready for Arceus' speech.
While Arceus gave the speech to a massive group of Pokemon in front of him, Giratina whispered to Zane. "Be ready to move. You will have a few seconds before Palkia closes the portals. If you miss that, then you're dead, and I'm in major trouble." Giratina whispered to Zane. "I will not miss it. I will go to that world, and make Artorius pay for what he's done for his family." Zane whispered to Giratina.
"And now you will all travel to his new world and save this world. Now go my Pokemon and do what you do." Arceus said to the Pokemon, as Palika opened hundreds of portals, and the Pokemon started to enter those portals. After a bit all the Pokemon finished entering the portals, and Palkia started to close the portals.
"NOW!" Giratina said to Zane, getting the attention of the Legendary Pokemon. Zane then glowed black, and moved like a bolt of lighting, getting into one of the last portals before it closed. "What have you done?!" Arceus asked Giratina, as the Legendary Pokemon looked at Giratina. And though Giratina's face did not change, everyone knew that there was a smudge look behind his face.
Zane exited the portal and found himself on a road in the middle of nowhere still in his Giratina form. "So this is Midgand. Now where is the target?" Zane asked himself, as he looked around. Then Zane started to walk in a random direction.
After a few days of walking he found the capital of the land, and noticed the armguards all over a large wall that surrounded the place, and realized that he couldn't use his powers to sneak in without raising the alarm, since he would appear other side of the wall and with his form, he would be noticed. And he didn't want to waste his time by causing a scene and alerting everyone to his presents, so he decided to try something else.
He then headed to a nearby dock, and stayed out of sight, as he listened and watched the people go about their lives. He then watched the docks for a couple days. He saw a greedy man running part of the dock and saw where he keeped his money. Then he found out there was a beliverly of clothes for a group of nobles. Once he knew those two things, he stole all the money from the greedy man, and a few parts from some of the suit sets from the delivery for the nobles.
After doing that Zane went back to the wall, and the next morning, he turned back into his human form, wearing an old style suit. With a purple coat, black trousers, a red waistcoat, a purple scarf around his neck.
Once he was ready he walked to the main entrance. And because of the sound of the money and the fancy clothes, the guards thought he was a noble and let him in without any trouble. Walking through the city, Zane found a giant church, with a lot of people outside it. "Bingo." Zane said before moving to a shadowy alley way. There he transformed back into his Giratina form, and started to teleport. But his teleporting wasn't that far. He could only teleport a few meters, from one shadow to another shadow.
But that teleporting allowed Zane to move through the church easily, and find a spot where he could hide over a large stage, with many people standing in front of it, and three people on it. And one of those people was Artorius in a new set of clothes, and that woman with him that dark night.
Artorius was wearing a new outfit, which was a white suit with yellow lines on it and a large white and yellow cap over his right arm, standing in front of a large crowd. Behind him was the redhead woman that Giratina showed him in the vision that he saw three years ago.
The other person was a elderly man with fair skin, a gray beard, a black scop over his left eye, a very large hat on his head with a green slip that many of the people in the place had on was on the hat, he was wearing a white coat, with some teal cloth from his left shoulder across to his right hip, black pants and boots.
"No idea who that is, but it doesn't matter." Zane said as he pulled out an arrow from his quiver, as Artorius started to talk to the people in the Cathedral. "Exorcist of the Abby. I would like to thank you for all your hard work in ensuring peace for all of us. And I would also like to welcome our new Exorcists that will help us bring about the end of calamity!" Artorius said to everyone, as a few of the people in the white armor stepped forward.
While that was going on, Zane loaded and aimed the arrow at the back of Arthur's head. Then the arrow started to glow a black and purple color. "Thank Lord Artorius, this is a true honor." A guy in white said to Artorius, as Artorius placed a piece of fabric, like the one the old man had on his hat, but it was white, not green like the old man, on the man's chest. "It's time you pay Artorius." Zane said to Artorius as he released his arrow.
"I vow to uphold your ideas of… LOOK OUT!" The man said to Artorius, pushing Artorius out of the way, making him take the arrow right into the chest. "Fool! Well no good deed goes unpunished." Zane said, as the man started to take a few steps back. Everyone watched as the armor around the arrow started to turn black, then the man dropped dead. This causes a bit of a panic. "Everyone calm yourselves. The daemon that did this is still here. Spread out and find it." Artorius said to everyone.
Everyone then regained their composure and nodded before starting to search for Zane. "And that's my que to leave." Zane said before he disappeared. "Seres help them find the daemon as well." Artorius said to the red haired woman with him. Seres nodded and left.
Soon Artorius and the old man were the only one left, and were looking at the dead body. "Melchior, any idea what kind of daemon can do this?" Artorius asked the old man. "No. Most daemons fight at close range. But the daemon attacked us with an arrow. It's stange." Melchior said to Artorius. "I want the daemon responsible for this to be found at once." Artorius said to Melchior. "Are you worried?" Melchior asked Artorius. "No. But this daemon is something else. It was able to slip into here and almost kill me. If not for the man before us. I might have been killed." Artorius said to Melchior.
"Might, being the key word. But regardless we will find it. And we'll fire out what was in that arrow." Melchoir said to Artorius, as she snapped his fingers. Then two guards came up and took the body away, and left with Melchoir. Artorius just looked at the spot Zane was in, wondering who he was.
Outside the Cathedral Zane was in the shadows of the roof of the Cathedral, thinking of his next move. "Well that was a bust. I didn't count on the place being full of people willing to die for Artorius. And now they are on alert. I need something to distract them. But what? An explosion won't work, they are likely to be on alert even more than they already are. I could wait it out, but now he knows something is after him, so I doubt he'll lower his guard anytime soon." Zane said to himself, as he crossed his arms and legs, floating in mid air.
Then Zane had an idea. "If he's expecting a fight, then I'll bring him a fight. But who would be crazy enough to attack a hero in the eyes of the people?" Zane asked himself. Then Zane remembered Velvet. "A vengeful woman would be willing to do it. But how do I find her? Giratina said she was tossed into a cell." Zane said to himself, as he noticed Seres below him. "I bet she knows where Velvet is." Zane said before making his bow rectact, and disappearing himself.
Zane then reappeared in front of Seres, and slammed her against a wall with his left arm, and held an arrow at Seres neck with his right hand. "So you are the daemon?" Seres asked Zane. "You could say that. Now I want to ask you some questions." Zane asked Seres. "About what?" Seres asked Zane. "I want to know where Velvet Crow is?" Zane asked Seres. "Why?" Seres asked Zane, surprised a little. "So I can kill Artorius." Zane said to Seres. "In that case she's…" Seres said to Zane, but stopped when a magic circle appeared around her, and it shocked her. Zane didn't know what it was, but he knew a collar when he sees one.
Zane then charged up the arrow he was holding for a few seconds. He jammed it into the magic circle, shattering it. This made Seres tired and Zane let her go. "What was that?" Zane asked Seres, as she was on her hands and knees. "That was my oath. It kept me bound to Artorius." Seres said to Zane, as she got up. "So it was your chain?" Zane asked Seres. "Yes." Seres said to Zane.
"Now I believe you were telling me about Velvet?" Zane asked Seres. "Yes. She's locked up in a prison cell on an island called Titania. It's where we store daemons. But Velvet's cell is a deep dark hole, deep in Titania. And has only one way in. And they only threw daemons into it, that's it." Seres said to Zane. "So Velvet is locked up on an island, and the only thing that gets near her is daemons?" Zane asked Seres. Seres nodded yes. "Okay I can work with that." Zane said to Seres.
"So do you have a plan?" Seres asked Zane. "Actually, yes I do. You're going to take me to this Titania and feed me to Velvet." Zane said to Seres, surprising Seres again. "I thought you wanted to free her, not get killed by her?" Seres asked Zane. "You're correct. But if the right hand to Artorius shows up, people ask questions, but if you show up with a Daemon prisoner, that needs to be placed in a special cell..." Zane said to Seres. "No one will question it." Seres said to Zane, smiling a little. "Exactly. Now all we gotta do is get to Titania." Zane said to Seres. "Leave that to me. Follow me." Seres said to Zane, as she led the way.
Seres led Zane to a small ship that was on the edge of the docks. They then stole that ship and took off to sea. After a few more days at sea, and a small detour for Seres, the two of them made it to a large fortress island. When there Seres, placed a bag over Zane's head and placed a magic chain on him. And just as planned, none of the guards bothered them. They soon found themselves in front of a hole with a cage door over it. "This is it." Seres said to Zane, removing the change and bag from him. "Then let's say hello." Zane said to Seres, as he opened the cage. Zane grabbed the ladder, and pulled it down, as the two of them floated down to the bottom of the cell.
When they reached the bottom, Velvet charged at them, making them see that her clothes were all torn up, bearing covering her, and her hair was longer and messier, and her left arm was completely covered in bandages. And while Velvet wanted to kill them, Zane felt his heart race at the sight of her. Zane then dodged Velvet and Velvet grabbed Seres face. But Seres burned Velvet off her. However Velvet was able to throw Seres to the other side of the room.
"Where is he and who is this?" Velvet asked Seres. "First, there will be a test. It will decide if you are worth teaching." Seres said to Velvet. "Leave this to me Seres." Zane said to Seres, standing in front of Seres. "Hello beautiful. I'm Zane. And I got to say, that fire in your heart is lovely." Zane said bowing to Velvet, making Velvet blush a little. "Shut up." Velvet said, as charged at Zane, with her claw out.
Zane then burst out his blade bow and Velvet grabbed it with her claw. Then Zane twisted his wrist to the right, shaking Velvet off him by throwing her to the right. But Velvet easily recovered from the toss, and charged at Zane again. Zane barely dodged her claw. Then Velvet tried to kick Zane in the head. But Zane countered with his own kick.
Zane then jumped into the air, and floated in the air, surprising everyone. "What's wrong? Don't think you can hit a target in the air? If not then I'll stay up here and wait for you to get tired out." Zane said to Velvet, as he started to lay down in mid air. Velvet then used her claw to throw herself in the air. But before she reached Zane, he disappeared, and reappeared behind Velvet kicking her in the back.
This made Velvet crash into the ground. Then Zane disappeared and reappeared in front of Velvet, planning to slash off her head. But Velvet reacted in an instant and formed her daemon claw. Velvet's claw stopped right under Zane's chin, and inch away from Zane's neck. And Zane's blade was an inch from the side of Velvet's neck. The two of them were at a deadlock, both unable to move without killing each other, but they found it exciting.
"That's enough!" Seres said to everyone, making them back away from each other. "Why are you here?" Velvet asked Seres, as Zane retracted his bow, and Velvet retraced her claw. "You can thank this one. He wanted to meet you." Seres said to Velvet. "I'm surprised his malak would help a stranger meet a daemon." Velvet said to Seres. "I am his malak no longer. Thanks to this one." Seres said to Velvet jeserting to Zane. "You're welcome." Zane said to Seres, bowing to her.
"Now, let me tell you what has transpired these past three years. There are exorcists now throughout the land, challenging the reign of daemons with the help of-" Seres said to Velvet, but Velvet interrupted her. "Tell me. Tell me where Artorius is!" Velvet asked Seres. "You may find him in the capital city of Loegres, in Midgand." Seres said to Velvet. Then Velvet started to leave. "You won't stop to listen? I can tell you what it was you saw that night." Seres asked Velvet, making Velvet stop and think.
"That night… The ritual he performed shifted the very course of the world. A host of malakhim descended, and with their strength the emergent exorcist quelled the daemon tide. But it also gained the eyes of the gods, and they sent their divine beast to attack us, but Artorius has learned to tame them and used them to help in his mission. Now, he serves as leader of the exorcists' Abbey, an institution that enjoys the unconditional faith of the kingdom and public. A shield to guard the people, a sword against daemons, and a tamer of beast. Artorius Collbrande, the world's savior." Seres said to velvet.
"With power stolen by sacrificing Laphicet." Velvet said to Seres. "Indeed, and with that power he's enslaved the divine beasts to his will. But his power is not yet absolute. The man can still be killed." Seres said to Velvet. "And we want your help doing that." Zane said to Velvet, making Velvet look at them. "Why are you doing this?" Velvet asked Zane and Seres.
"The gods didn't just send the beasts, or as we call them Pokemon, to this world. One of the gods sent me to kill him. As for Seres…" Zane said to Velvet, but stopped when Seres interrupted him. "Make a successful escape from this palace, and I'll explain." Seres said to Velvet. "Escape? So that's your game. Fine. I don't care what the world thinks of me. What matters is my vengeance against Artorius. That's all." Velvet said to Seres. "I like your spirit." Zane said to Velvet.
Seres then made a small ball of light and the figures on her left hand appeared. Seres moved her fingers to the left, and a web of yellow lines appeared and dissolved. "I have shattered your yoke. We must hurry." Seres said, as the three of them started to leave the cell.
After exiting the cell, Seres led them to a room, where velvet can get some gear, but two guards were standing guard. "I'll take care of this, ladies." Zane said, before disappearing. Zane then appeared above the guards, and came down on one, and kicked the other one in the head. This knocked them out cold. "Nice move." Velvet said to Zane, as she and Seres came out of hiding. "I thought you'd be impressed by that." Zane said to Velvet. "Take what you need from here." Seres said to Velvet, before they started to dig around the room for supplies.
"It looks like they kept prisoner's effects in here." Seres said to everyone. "Rope. This will be useful." Velvet said to everyone, taking the rope, and noticed a large blade. "Quite a blade." Velvet said to everyone, holding a large blade in a black seath. "I know that sword… Stormhowl! What is it doing here?" Seres asked. "How should we know?" Zane asked Seres.
"Well, it's too big for me." Velvet said, tossing the sword down. "You're not taking it? It's a celebrated masterpiece." Seres said to Velvet. "And if I can't use it, it's worthless." Velvet said before digging through another box. "Maybe but I'm sure someone would pay a large price for it." Zane said, grabbing the sword, and looking at it. Zane then pulled the blade out, only for him to notice that the blade was broken and only had half a foot of the blade left. "Never mind. You're right, it's worthless." Zane said, putting the blade back and tossing it. When Zane turned around, he saw Velvet in some new clothes, if you could call it that.
Her new look was tore up clothes, with armor on her feet, a knee, and on the left wrist, she was also wearing very short black shorts, a ripped up red shirt that only covered her sides, and across her chest, a black coat that as full of holes, she also had ropes and belts all over her cloths, keeping it all together.
"Wow! I guess you're the daring type." Zane said to Velvet. "Are you ready, then?" Seres asked Velvet. "What's going on here?!" A man in white robes and armor, armed with a shield and sword said, charging into the room. But before anyone could react, Seres fired a fireball at the man, killing him. "You didn't even flinch." Velvet said to Seres. "I already told you. I am his malak no longer." Seres said to Velvet. "Well, I suggest we move. Chances are they knew we're here." Zane said to everyone.
Velvet said nothing and started to walk to the exit, but stopped at the exit. "Is there a ship waiting?" Velvet asked everyone. "So you already know we're on an island." Seres asked Velvet. "Yes. I've learned that this is a prison island for violent criminals, and that there are scores of daemons locked away here. Daemons say lots of things when they don't want you to eat them." Velvet said to Seres, clenching her left hand.
"The prison has docks at both the front and rear sentences. Our ship is on the back side." Seres said to Velvet. "Got it. The back docks." Velvet said to everyone, as she started to move. "She is certainly straight forward." Zane said to Seres. Seres nodded and the two of them started to walk after Velvet.
After a bit, we heard footsteps ahead of us. "Guards coming. Two of them." Seres said to everyone. "This way." Velvet said, as they moved to a wall. "Did you hear? The path around the island is off-limits now. They say the ground's weak and could collapse." A guard said, as they walked by everyone. "The path that goes under the watchtower? That's all right, nondy used it anyway." The second guard said to the other guard. "True, but it was a nice shortcut to the docks…" The first guard said to the second guard.
'A shortcut to the docks… under the watchtower…' Velvet thought as another guard came running up. A number of guards have gone missing. It would seem we have intruders on the island. All exorcists, break into two groups and converge at the front and rear gates." The new guard said to the other guard. "Understood. No one will get past us." The second guard said to the new guard. "Stay sharp. The threat could be serious." the new guard said. "Yes sir!" The guards said, before they all scattered and left.
"This isn't going to be easy." Seres said to everyone, as they walked into the open area. "They know something's wrong. They don't know about us yet. We need to figure out a way to get the guards off the exits if we want to sneak out." Zane said to everyone. "Then we'll need reinforcements of our own. Where are the cells?" Velvet said to Zane and asked Seres.
"They should be on this floor. You plan on involving the other prisoners?" Seres asked Velvet. "I'll use any tool I have at my disposal." Velvet said to Seres. "Alright then. Let's get our reinforcements." Zane said to everyone, as they got back to walking.
A few minutes later they found the cells, but two guards, with one of the guards being in heavy armor, were standing guard over the cells. "Who in the blaze are you?!" the regular guard said to them. "I'll take the big one." Velvet said to Zane, as she charged at the heavy armor guard. "Alright then." Zane said to Velvet, pulling out two arrows. And loaded the first one, and fired it at the normal guard, making the guard hide behind her shield. But the arrow missed. This made the guard raise her head in confusion, only to get hit in the head by the second arrow that Zane fired.
With Velvet, she dodged the attack from the guard, and used her claw to take off the chest plate of the guard's armor. Then a hidden blade popped out of the armor on her right wrist. Velvet then ram the blade into the knight's chest, finishing him. "Nice work." Seres said to them, as Velvet looked around. Velvet walked to the cells, and saw they were all pretty full with men and deamons.
"Listen up! I'm opening evey door to every cell! We're getting off this island!" Velvet said to the prisoners. "What the hell? You serious?!" A man asked. "Split into two groups and rush the front and rear gates! Break through the gates, and you'll have a ship!" Velvet said to everyone. "But aren't they guarded by exorcists? I mean, that pirate Van Aifread's the only one who's ever broken outta here!" A man said.
"And he didn't pull it off just by himself. He was hauled out by some old exorcist named Melchior of something." Another man thought. ' Van Aifread? And Melchior...' Velvet thought. "So you're all going to sit here and do nothing. Your freedom is near, all you have to do is fight back!" Zane said to everyone. "We won't force you! You want to rot in here, then rot!" Velvet said to everyone.
Quickly the prisoners agreed to Velvet's plan. "Seres." Velvet said to Seres. Seres then undid all the locks, and opened the cells. "Now is the time! Run wild! Bring pain upon those who locked you in here! Show them your furry!" Zane said to the prisoners, as they started to riot. "Let's go! We'll muder those exorcists!" A man said. "Open all the doors!" Another man said to everyone.
In seconds, Velvet, Zane, and Seres were alone. "That ought to draw the attention of the guards. In the meantime, we'll search for the watch tower. From there we can follow the outer path down to the docks." Velvet said to everyone. "So you're leaving them all to their fates." Seres asked Velvet. "I told you. I'll use any tool I need." Velvet said to Seres. "Pretty and ruthless. I like it." A female voice said to Velvet.
This made everyone turn to see a small black and ash gray lizard, with a red long on its tail, and light purple eyes. "A Pokemon?" Zane asked. "Who are you, and what do you want?" Velvet asked the lizard. "I'm a Salandit, the Toxic Lizard Pokemon. A fire and Poison type. And I like you. Can I go with you?" The lizard asked Velvet.
"I'm on my way to kill someone. I have no time for pets." Velvet said to Salandit. "I'm no pet. But my poison is one of a kind. My kind's poison can poison anything." Salandit said to Velvet. This got Velvet's attention. "You can poison anything?" Velvet asked Salandit. "Positive." Salandit said to Velvet. "Very well. And your name is Salandit, right?" Velvet asked Salandit.
"That's my kind's name. Pokemon don't do names." Salandit said to Velvet. "Well Salandit is too long for me to order. I'll call you Liz." Velvet said to Salandit. "Liz? I can live with that. What do you think?" Salandit, now Liz, said to Velvet and asked someone else as she turned her head to a cell.
Then a small white fox, with yellow eyes, two red dots on its forehead, and major fluff around its neck and top of its head, but the top of the fluff on its head and the back of the fluff around its neck had a long wavy red fur. "Considering that you're a lizard. Kind of borning." The fox said to Liz, with a male voice. "And you are?" Seres asked the Fox. "I'm a Zorua from Hisui, the Spiteful Fox Pokemon. A Ghost and Normal Type."
"And you're hiding in that cell why?" Velvet asked Zorua. "While I have no love for humans. I'm smart enough to know that charging at the gates would be a bad idea. So I was waiting to sneak out when things died down a little." Zorua said to Velvet. "And how are you going to do that?" Velvet asked Zorua. Zorua said nothing, and glowed black, and changed shape.
When the black faded, Zorua was in the shade of one of the guards. Then Zorua turned back to his normal form. "My kind has the power to change shape, and make illusions. If those exorcists didn't get lucky. I would have escaped." Zorua said to Velvet. "What do you mean if those exorcists didn't get lucky?" Zane asked Zorua. "You don't know? The exorcists have figured out a way to control single type Pokemon. But duel types like me and Liz here. We can't be controlled. So they keep us locked up until they figure out how." Zorua said to Zane.
"Well, we can't leave this one here? His kind is strong, he could be a good help." Zane said to Velvet. "Fine. We could use tricks like that. Fox you're with us." Velvet said to Zane and Zorua. "I refuse to be called Fox. Think of something else for a name." Zorua said to Velvet. "How about Eshu? Can you live with that?" Zane asked Zorua. "Eshu? Better than Fox. I'll take it." Zorua, now Eshu said to Zane. "Then you're with me." Zane said to Eshu. "Okay." Eshu said to Zane.
After walking for a bit, Velvet and Zane felt an odd feeling behind them. "Dear me, not a world of apology?!" A female voice said to them. "Even after you woke us up." A male voice said to them. That's when Velvet and Zane released the voices behind them. They spun around, with the blades out, and saw who was talking.
One was a girl, with white skin, very long pale blonde, lush blue-green eyes, pointy ears, a strange hat with a pink inside two spikes with one end being black the other pink, a ruffle of feathers around her neck, a black and red cloth that covered her chest with two line of three pink diamonds on it, sleeves that went from her hands to a little past her elbows, black legging on her right leg, a pink legging on her left leg, pink shoes, and a skirt made out of books with locks on them.
Next to her was a flowing squid, with the bottom being dark blue, grey eyes, a small peck, a pink squishy arrow like top, with four yellow dots in it, and two white fins with a pyramid end for arms.
"Hmph! What is WRONG with you people? There I was, sleeping with Ludo, like a sweet babe, when suddenly… from paradise down to hell! No, worse! A grimy prison cell! You see why I'm not feeling well." The woman said, moving around, acting out her words. "Who's Ludo?" Zane asked. "That's me. I'm a Inkay, the Revolving Pokemon. A Dark and Psychic Type. But I find Ludo to be a better name than Inkay." The squid said to Zane. "And you are?" Seres asked the woman, making the woman clap.
"Hooray, you asked! I'm thrilled to introduce to you the wise sorceress who travels the eleven seas, who scoffs at the might of dragons… None other than the acclaimed, the illustrious Mazhigika Miludin do Din Nolurun Dou! Magilou for short." the woman said to everyone. "Maggie-lou?" Velvet asked. "No! Mah, like "soggy shoe" or "doggie doo" or "call me any of those things and I'll turn you into a froggy-stew"!" Magilou said to Velvet.
"How but we call you Weird. Cause you are." Zane said to Magilou. "I suppose you two will never understand. Hmph! People can be so tragically unlearned… But hey… like I care! Let's go Ludo." Magilou said to everyone, before leaving. "Yes, let's go have some fun." Ludo said, before leaving with Magilou. "Well that happened." Zane said to everyone, before they retracted their weapons and moved on.
"I can't believe she and that pokemon snuck up on me. Who are they?" Velvet asked, as they walked. "Well Ludo is an Inkay, and they're a strange one. But I have no idea about that lady." Liz said to Velvet. "This is no ordinary prison. We must be cautious. Trust no one. She said she's a powerful witch." Seres said to everyone. "Did she a malak tethered?" Velvet asked Seres. "No, I didn't sense malakhim around her. She's an ordinary human… I think." Seres said to Velvet.
"Then she's an ordinary magician, not a witch." Velvet said to everyone. "I don't think ordinary is a word noamy used to describe her." Zane said to Velvet. "If she tries to trick me again, I'll crush her and be done with it." Velvet said to everyone. "Whatever floats your boat. Now let's get to our boat." Zane said to everyone.
After a bit they heards swords clashing and saw a dead guard fly to the floor in front of them. This made them run around a corner and saw the room full of dead daemons and guards. In the middle of them was a man and pokemon sword fighting.
The man looked like some kind of samurai with white, orange, and black robes, armor on his left arm, long messy black hair that tied into a ponytail and covered the right side of his face, with that side of his face covered in black energy, and his right eye was black and red. In his arms where two long daggers
The pokemon was a double edge sword floating in the air, with a tan handle, a light blue eye, a blue piece of fabric on the end of the handle holding a metal sheath.
"What? You want some more?" The man asked the sword. "As a Honedge, The Sword Pokemon. A Ghost and Steel Type. Of course I want more. Our duel has only just begun." the sword said to the man, with a male voice. "This one… He's a daemon! And the other one is a living sword!" Seres said to everyone, getting the man and Honedge attestation. "So you all wish to get in between our dual as well?" Honedge asked everyone. "Get ready." Velvet said to everyone, as they got ready to fight.
"Metal Sound." Honedge said, before scraping his sheath angest his blade, making a nasty sound. This made everyone but the man cover their ears. Then the man charged at everyone. "Ember." Liz said, firing a small burst of fire at Honedge, hitting Honedge in the eye, making him stop the noise. This allowed Velvet and Zane to focus and fight the man, with them popping out their blades.
The two of them fought the man, and each attack they did to him and him to them, was countered. "Not bad. Slash." Honedge said as he tried to slam his blade into Liz. But Eshu pushed her out of the way, and Honedge blade went right, threw him, and into the ground. "Snarl." Eshu said, before letting out a snarl sound and fired out a black sound pulse. The pulse sent Honedge flying, but Honedge was able to recover and float next to the man. At the same time Velvet and Zane jumped back from the man.
"He's strong." velvet said to Zane, as the man looked at his blades. "Chips in the blades already? Brittle, these exorcist knives. I've got to reclaim Stormhowl." The man said. "Stormhowl? That sword we found?" Velvet asked. This surprised the man and made him drop his weapons. The man then rushed and grabbed Velvet. "Hands off." Zane said to the man, forcing the man off Velvet and getting in between them.
"You found it?! Where? Do you have it? Please, tell me!" The man asked them. "It's in a storage room… Down below." Velvet said to the man, a little bit confused by the man. "Down below? You have my thanks!" The man said to Velvet, before leaving. "Hey wait for me. You still owe me that fight." Honedge said, going after the man. "He's an odd daemon." Velvet said to everyone. "And one odd Pokemon as well." Liz said to everyone.
"Also, Zane. I don't need you to protect me." Velvet said to Zane. "I was only trying to keep that guy off you." Zane said to Velvet. "I still didn't need your help." Velvet said to Zane, making Zane groan. "You're lucky you're pretty." Zane said to Velvet. "Be quiet. Now let's get moving. If things settle down. We'll miss our window. Hurry." Velvet said to everyone. "Then let's stop walking and start running." Zane said to everyone, as they all started to run.
"Stormhowl? Could that daemon be…?" Seres asked herself, as they ran. "What is it?" Velvet asked Seres. "You know that daemon?" Zane asked Seres. "No. It's nothing. That daemon swordsman was just strange. He was so full of fury, but when you started talking about that sword, his manner changed completely." Seres said to everyone.
"Agree he was a strange one and so was that Honedge." Zane said to Seres. "Don't think too much about it. He's a daemon, after all." Velvet said to everyone. "The prisoners here are all so unusual." Seres said to everyone. "Well this is a big time prison island. Not really surprising if crazy people are locked up here." Zane said to everyone, making Velvet look at him with a mean look at the back of Zane's head. "I know you look at me with a mean look, and it doesn't change the fact that I'm right." Zane said to Velvet. "Forget it." Velvet said to Zane.
Soon they were in the tower. But after they entered it, guards showed up. "We've just about quelled this riot! You won't be getting away!" the guard said to everyone. "So you say. Poison Gas." Liz said before firing a cloud of purple mist at the guards. When the mist faded, the guards were coughing and were weak. This made it easy for Seres, Velvet, and Zane to finish them off. "Nice work Liz." Velvet said to Liz. "Why thank you." Liz said to Velvet.
"The prisoners are doomed." Seres said to everyone. "Not our problem. All we have to do is get out of here. The prisoners are just a distraction, nothing more, nothing less." Zane said to Seres. "Time is short. We need to get down to the path." Velvet said to everyone. "Well the only way forward is up." Zane said to everyone, before they all started to move up.
A few minutes later they were on top of the tower and outside in the rain. They then walked to the edge of the tower. "Long way down." Zane said to everyone. "The path has collapsed. That rope won't do any good here." Seres said to everyone. Then velvet called out her claw and looked at it. Velvet walked to the edge. "Wait! You're not seriously going to try it, are you?!" Seres asked Velvet. "You know I can carry you down. You don't have to jump?" Zane asked Velvet.
"No. He fell further than this back at the shrine." Velvet said to everyone, before jumping, surprising everyone. Velvet slammed her claw into the cliff wall, and slid down it. The others watch this. When Velvet got close to the ground, she jumped off the cliff wall, and crashed into the rock floor at the bottom. Doing this caused Velvet to dislocate her right arm.
"That's gotta hurt." Zane said, before grabbing Liz and Eshu and jumping over the side, but unlike Velvet, Zane floated gently down. "I see you are truly committed to this." Seres said before disappearing in ire. On the ground Velvet slammed her right arm into the rock wall, putting her right arm back in place. And while it did work, she was in pain. That's when Zane landed next to Velvet, and Seres appeared in fire right next to Velvet.
Seres then healed Velvet, as Zane put Liz and Eshu down. "You're strong. I would almost think you made an "oath"." Seres said to Velvet, after she finished healing. "I heard you say "oath" before. What is it?" Zane asked Seres. "It's a ritual that grants special powers if the oath-taker abides by certain restrictions. The harder the restrictions, the greater the power one may command. In a very real sense, an oath is a soft of-" Seres said to everyone, but Velvet interrupted. "Curse, right?" Velvet asked Seres, before walking away.
"Well, guess what? You're the ones who did this to me." Velvet said to Seres. "I am aware. But that's why Zane wants you." Seres said to Velvet, as she and the others went after her. "She's right. I thought that spirit would be very useful." Zane said to Velvet. "Whatever." Velvet said to Zane.
Velvet then led everyone back into the prison. "Are you sure? This way leads to the main entrance." Seres said to Velvet. "If they know you're here. They'll have found your ship by now. The guards expect us at the rear, not the front!" Velvet said to Seres. "She's right. But we have to hurry. The riot is almost over and the guards will probably be back soon." Zane said to everyone, before they started to run again.
"We're almost there." Velvet said to everyone. "That's enough!" A male voice said to everyone, making them stop. This made them notice the guards with spears, gold dragon mask, and one wearing a green tadard on his chest, the other a blue tabard on his chest. A small pokemon with a green spiky back and a tan front with brown arms, and a green tail with a red tip. On that Pokemon was a white circle with a symbol in it, and its eyes were white.
And in the middle of all of them was a very dartoated man with a blue cape, he didn't look like someone who was a guard, he looked like an important person, the two blue pecase of fabric below his neck made everyone think so, and he had a sword on his right hip. This man has green eyes and silver hair.
"Oscar… I had no idea an exorcist praetor had been assigned to this island." Seres said to the man. "You surprise me, Seres. Aiding criminals now, are you? Did Lord Artorius request this?" Oscar asked Seres. "No, I'm acting on my own." Seres said to Oscar. "A malak with free will? And yet… I sense someone's strings guiding you." Oscar said to Seres.
"It's not strings. It's me. Now move, or prepare to die." Zane said to Oscar, as he, Velvet, Liz, and Eshu got ready to fight. "Hold on. A prator is far more dangerous than an orderly." Seres said to everyone. "Like we care." Zane said to Seres. "Pulse, I'm all out of subterfuge. And besides, if we can't overpower this one, our end goal was hopeless to begin with." Velvet said to everyone. "You're a daemon, but still a lady, so I'll show you due respect, and fight the man first." Oscer said to everyone.
"A gentleman. Then I'll galdy bet you." Zane said to Oscer, moving forward a little. "If you're having a "guy" fight, count me in." Eshu said to Oscer, moving to Zane's side. "Very well. John could use the particle fighting daemons and impure beasts." Oscer said to Eshu, as Oscar's Pokemon moved to Oscar's side. "I am Oscar Dragonia of the Abbey of the Holy Midgand Empire. And who might you be?" Oscar asked everyone, as he got ready to fight, pulling out a blue sword. "If you survive, maybe we'll tell you." Zane said to Oscar. "Hm… All right, "Graceless Daemons" and "Impure Beasts" it is, then." Oscar said to everyone, before they started to fight.
Oscar charged at Zane, and locked weapons with Zane. At the same time the girls were dodging magic attacks from the malaks. As that happened, Zane noticed John charging at him. But Zane just kicked him and sent him flying into the wall. But John was unaffected by this. "Man that Pokemon can take a hit." Zane said to everyone. "No surprise he is a Chespin, The Spiky Nut Pokemon. A Grass Type. and from what I've heard they can take a rock to the head like it's nothing." Eshu said to everyone. "Then let's see if he takes this! Poison Gas!" Liz said, before letting out a cloud of purple mist. And while it did hit John and the green malak, Oscer and blue malak dodged the mist.
But despite the poison, John was able to fire glowing light green "Pin Needles" from hit's spikes. The needles hit everyone and caused a little damage. This gave Oscers side a little edge and pushed everyone back. "Eshu, give me an opening." Zane said to Eshu. "Right Shadow Sneak." Eshu said before sinking into the shadows. Eshu then popped out of the shadow under Oscer and slammed into Oscar's back. This forced Oscar forward.
Zane then grabbed Oscer's arm and threw him to the back of the room. But Oscar recovered in the air and took no damage from the attack. "John run them over!" Oscer said to John. John then rolled up into a ball, and "Rollout". John hit Seres in the gut, forcing her back. And when he attacked Velvet, Velvet was able to block it and force John back. But when he went again, it was stronger and Velvet couldn't block it and fell to the floor. "Liz do something to stop the rolling." Velvet said to Liz, as she jumped up to dodge John next "Rollout".
"I have just the thing to finish him. Dragon Rage!" Liz said, before letting out a massive amount of blue fire. The blue fire hit John, and sent John flying to Oscar's feet. The two teams moved back to their sides of the rooms, with each side being a little short on breath. Oscar then noticed that John was really weak now. "You're skilled. I will have to expend a malak or two for this. Maybe even John as well." Oscar said to everyone. Then the blue malak got ready to cast a spell. The spell was a wave of energy at the gang, causing them to scatter.
Then the green malak grabbed Velvet. That was when the blue malak fired another wave spell, at the same time John fired the light green glowing "Pine Needles". But thanks to the poison in the green malak, Velvet had no trouble forcing the green malak off her and into the attacks. The green malak screamed from this. "What are you doing?!" Seres asked Oscar, with a very worried voice.
"Control your feelings to control the tide of battle!" Oscar said, as he charged at Velvet. Velvet blocked his attack with her wrist blade, and forced each other back. "More of your vaunted "reason"?" Velvet asked Oscar before they two started to sword fight, each dodging and blocking each other's attacks. The two then locked weapons. "Aren't you forgetting someone?" Zane asked Oscar.
Oscar then saw Zane appear right below him, Zane squatting down. Zane then slashed the right side of Oscar's stomach. But Oscar jumped back before it could be anything more than a deep cut, but it had become a large red stain on his clothes. But before the fight could go another round, the sound of the green malak screaming got their attention. "No!" Seres yelled. Then black energy started to gush out of the green malak, and it transformed into a big red dragon.
"A malak… with daemonblight?!" Velvet asked everyone. "Velvet, focus! We have a problem on our hands!" Zane said, as he pulled out an arrow and aimed it at the dragon. "Ungh! It's lost control!" Oscar said, holding a hand on his wound. Then the dragon roared and flew into the air. The dragon fired a burst of wind at Oscar's team, sending them flying into a hall, knocking them out.
The dragon turned to Zane and Velvet and charged at them. Zane then fired the arrow into the dragon's right eye. But that didn't stop it, and they didn't move. As Zane prepared another arrow, the dragon was about to attack velvet.
"Velvet!" Seres said, as she ran and took the attack from the dragon. This left three very deep cuts in Seres back. Then Seres fired a ball of fire at the dragon before hitting the floor, at the same time Liz fired a small burst of fire at the dragon, and Eshu fired a black sound wave pulse while making a snarl sound. All of these attacks forced the dragon into the ceiling, then it crashed into the ground. When it was on the ground, Zane fired the arrow into the dragon's left eye, blinding it.
This gave all of them the chance to rush over to Seres side. "Seres!" Velvet said, as she held up Seres. Velvet noticed the blood on her hands, as Zane looked at the damage. "This isn't good. It's very deep." Zane said to everyone. "My wounds are fatal." Seres said to everyone. "Please… consume me." Seres asked Velvet, surprising everyone. "Seres, do you realize what you're asking of her?" Zane asked Velvet.
"I'm not about to-" Velvet said to Seres, but Seres interrupted her. "My form is bound by an oath whose price is my life. The time has come to pay. Feeding on my form will grant you strength. The strength to press forward. I ask only that you devour me." Seres said to Velvet. "Why…?" Velvet asked Seres. "A flame burns in my heart, too. A flame I cannot quench, no matter how hard I try. Just like you, Velvet." Seres said to Velvet, before pulling out the comb, making Velvet gasp. "This was Laphi's." Velvet said to Seres.
"Where did you keep that?" Zane asked Seres. "This is why I cannot abide it… This frozen world… This frozen people." Seres said to Velvet, before coughing up blood. 'I'm just… that stubborn of a woman… Hurry! Before my life fades! Do it now!" Seres said to Velvet. Velvet was hesitant at first, but she activated her daemon claw. "Your sacrifice will not be forgotten." Zane said to Seres, as Velvet grabbed her and lifted her up in the air. "I offer no apology or thanks." Velvet saud to Seres. "I need neither. Our wishes…" Seres said to Velvet, before her mask broke, revealing her light red eyes.
"Are one… and the same. I treasure those days…" Seres said to Velvet, before Velvet started to tighten her grip. "When you and I… and Arthur were… together." Seres said, crying, crying form a memory of a happier time. Velvet then screamed and finished Seres, as everyone else looked away. Seres body turned into fire and entered Velvet's daemon claw. Velvet then saw her memories and could feel her emotions in the memories. When it was over, all that was left of Seres was a ring, and she grabbed it with her claw.
It was at this point, Oscar started to get up. "Ungh… what is happening?" Oscar asked before noticing Velvet and the others standing in front of the blind dragon. "Move… If you don't… I'll eat you!" Velvet said to the dragon, before they started to fight the dragon.
Velvet was first jumping onto the dragon's back. She slashed a deep wound into its back. Velvet then jumped off the drawings back, and summoned a ball of fire in her daemon claw. Then Velvet fired the ball of fire into the wound. This made the dragon scream loudly in pain.
"Liz, use your blue fire on the wound I made." Velvet said to Liz. "It's called Dragon Rage." Liz said to Velvet, as she moved up the wall and got a clear view of the wound Velvet made. "Dragon Rage!" Liz said before letting out a massive amount of blue fire. The fire hit the dragon on the back, with some of the fire going into the wound. This made the dragon scream again.
"Eshu use Snarl as a distraction." Zane said to Eshu. "Right, Snarl." Eshu said, before letting out a snarl sound and fired out a black sound pulse. The pulse hit the dragon and made it feel a little pain. But the dragon used the snarl to find Eshu, and charged at Eshu. but Eshu dodged the dragon's attack, and made the dragon crash into the wall.
After recovering from hitting the wall, the dragon flew into the air to avoid any more attacks. But Zane disappeared and reappeared on the back of the dragon. Zane pulled out his second to late arrow and charged it. Zane aimed the arrow at the wound Velvet made. Zane then fired his arrow and it went deep into the dragon body, being the finishing blow.
Oscar saw them fight, and he could believe what he was seeing. Then the dragon fell to the floor dead from all the attacks. It was at this point, Oscar ordered his blue malak to fire an air blast at everyone, sending them flying back a little. "Apologies… but I can't let a nastly daemons like you two and impure beasts roam freely, now, can i?" Oscar asked everyone, as they all got up. "Velvet. That's my name. You can give Artorius my regards." Velvet said to Oscar. "And tell him that Zane, the Phantom of his crimes, is coming for him." Zane said to Oscar, as he pulled out his last arrow.
Velvet then summoned her daemon calw and placed it on the dragon's remains, drawing black energy from it. At the same time, Zane moved to Velvet's left, Liz to Velvet's right, and Eshu to Zane's left. "My name is Velvet Crowe. And I will devour daemon, malak, and exorcist alike." Velvet said, as she finished draining the dragon. "And I'm Zane Kuro. And I'm on a mission. A mission of vengeance." Zane said to Oscar.
"We are monsters." Velvet/ Zane said at the same time, as Velvet made a fireball in her daemon claw, at the same time Zane ready an arrow and started to charge it. "I am a THERION!/ PHANTOM!" Velvet and Zane said, as they released their attacks. The two attacks fused and became one. The attack now was a bright glowing black and red arrow. The arrow hit Oscar in the left eye, and then burst out into a small inferno. This made Oscar scream in pain. The blue malak then grabbed Oscar and John, before teleporting all three of them away.
"Well that takes care of him for now." Zane said to everyone, as Velvet looked at the comb in her hands. Then they heard the door open. "Oho! Finally someplace that might not be a death-trap!" A familiar voice said. Everyone turned around to see Magilou, the man with the sword on his back, Ludo, and Honedge walking to them, with Honedge's seath back on his blade.
"When we tumbled from the tower, I thought, this is it, Magilou, this is the end!" Magilou said to the man. "Really, I thought those were screams of joy as you fell down the tower?" Ludo asked Magilou. "It would've been less risky if you hadn't suddenly appeared and jumped on my back." The man said to Magilou.
Then they noticed everyone. "Oh hey, it's you guys!" The man said to them, as they all walked to them. "It's thanks to you that Stormhowl is back in my care." The man said to Velvet, before bowing to her. "Rokurou Rangetsu at your service." The man said to Velvet. "And this guy has been calling me Saber. So you can call me that as well." Honedge said to everyone. "This blade is my life. I owe you a great bet, one I vow to repay." Rokurou said to Velvet.
"Yes, yes, they're peaches and model citizens. Can we get our move on? I think they're just about done massacring the rioters." Magilou said to everyone. "She has a point. We need to move." Zane said to everyone. "Plus if we need to, we can use these four as a distraction or as meat shields." Zane whispered to Velvet. "The docks are just ahead. Give us a hand." Velvet said to everyone, as they all moved to the exit.
With a bit of force they opened the exit gate and found themselves on the docks with their ship waiting. Once outside Magilou laid down on the ground. "Guess the weather's feeling as crummy as I am!" Magilou said to everyone. "Careful. Sea's looking mighty choppy." Rokurou said to everyone. "Are you a sailor?" Velvet asked Rokurou. "No. But I do know the difference between a sail and a rudder." Rokurou said to Velvet.
"It's better than nothing. Seres did all the sailing on the way over. So I have no idea what to do." Zane said to Velvet. "I'll take what I can get. Do what you can." Velvet said to Rokurou, before turning around. "You're leaving without a proper crew?!" Magilou asked Velvet, appearing right in front of Velvet. "Do you see a crew here, willing to take a group of escaped prisoners out of here?" Zane asked Magilou. "Far point." Magilou said to Zane.
"Very well then. I certainly owe you this much, at least." Rokurou said to everyone. "Brave words… But ten minutes in this storm, and you'll lose all sense of direction." Magilou said to Rokurou. "No, we won't. Ships have compasses for a reason." Velvet said to everyone, before getting on board the ship.
"So it's rot in a jail cell or rot in a fish-tummy. Welp, guess it's your lucky day, fishes!" Magilou said to the sea. "Quite the motivational speech there Magilou." Zane said to Magilou, before everyone, but Magilou, boarded onto the ship. "It's a gift." Magilou said to Zane, before she finally got onto the ship.
"I'm coming for you, Artorius." Velvet said, as the ship set sail. It was at this point some of the guards finally reached the docks, but they were too late to stop the ship from leaving. They could only watch as the ship sailed into the storm.

And the reason the Pokedex entries are like this, I'm Charmander, The Lizard Pokemon. A Fire Type. Is because Pokedex entries don't exist yet, and Zane wouldn't know more than a couple at best
